Disclaimer- my son reserved the room and checked me in due to time constraints I had a double king size room with a full kitchen The room and bathroom appeared clean

Here are the things I didn’t like- the bathroom had individual bottles of soap, etc I was hoping it had the shower units that had shampoo, etc like other hotels I’ve stayed at The kitchen had nothing in it, it was completely bare The refrigerator was an apartment size but adequate The kitchen had a four chair square table Housekeeping staff were friendly but did not empty trash cans when the towels were refreshed On to the breakfast- it was okay It had scrambled eggs, sausage links or paper thin bacon, potato cubes that had an odd taste, a waffle machine, cereal, biscuits and gravy, bagels, different juices, and coffee I had breakfast at the hotel once during my stay Side note- there is a Starbucks next door (didn’t go there) There were many times I passed the front desk and there was no one there The ground floor area by the elevator had a funny smell, I couldn’t place what it was There was one elevator and the Housekeeping staff used it to move around the building which is no biggie except when I was waiting for the elevator and a housekeeper came out of the elevator not looking to see if anyone was waiting in her path We almost collided Overall my stay wasn’t bad

Susan Taylor

Very clean, BJ is very nice, front desk service is great! Best breakfast ever, lots of choices, real food! They have biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, waffles you make yourself, cereal, yogurt, bagels the list is endless amazing! The pool and hot tub are clean and work well! The only if you thing was the room with the jetted tub, the jets could have worked a little better! Not enough pressure I guess

Gemini Love

11/13/2021: At first I loved the room! Until I woke up the next morning to find a dead roach on the floor next to the bed my 7 year old son was sleeping on The hot tub was great but the pool was waaaaay to cold!!!! I thought I was going to catch hypothermia!!!!! I didn’t get up early enough for breakfast but who could eat after seeing a dead roach in your room anyways!!!! The hotel prices are to high to be charging people to stay with roaches!!!!! I would have stayed here again if they didn’t have roaches!!!! Hotel staff did confirm with me that they knew they had them when I checked out They informed me the hotel gets sprayed once a month and that I didn’t have to stay there that next time I could stay in a different hotel if I wasn’t satisfied

Pretty rude to say to a paying customer!!!! I booked this hotel on the Priceline app From now on I will be staying at BEACHFRONT PALMS HOTEL in Galveston when I visit Houston!

My family stayed here recently The breakfast was extensive and included with our room The coffee needs improvement but they had plenty of other beverages on offer

The rooms are spacious, come with an almost full kitchen (no oven), but definitely helps save money when you can cook for yourself The bed and pillow were extremely comfortable I liked the shower, but it’s not ideal for small kids who are used to a bath The towels were luxurious I would also complain about the toilet paper It’s not on par with the quality of the hotel Loved our stay in this quiet hotel

Victoria Briars

My stay here was nothing short of amazing! The staff was welcoming; and my room was very clean and modern along with the entire hotel It was fairly new and for the price, they definitely exceeded my expectations

The breakfast bar consisted of multiple options such as: waffles, oatmeal with special toppings, eggs (hard boiled & scrambled), sausage, bacon, pastries, pineapples, cantaloupe, cereal, coffee, tea, and juice The rooms have fully stocked kitchens (dishes, glasses, utensils, detergent, dishwasher, full-sized fridge, etc) a small sectional, most comfty beds with firm and soft pillows, and resemble a studio apartment – love, love, love 😍😍 There is a cute little gym and outside pool area that was quite crowded when I visited The area itself was decent and close to multiple shopping centers I will definitely return! Keep up the great work staff! 😊

Brand new (only four months now) hotel with awesome facilities – an outdoor pool, free laundry, fitness center, family room, outdoor BBQ Rooms are nice and we’ll equipped My family stayed in a two bedroom suite and had our own kitchen

My only complaint would be that the water pressure is a little low in the showers so it takes longer to wash Other than that, everything was awesome and I would recommend

Simply superb! Stayed five nights Every time we entered the lobby the staff acknowledged my family with a warm welcome Clean, homey, and had everything we needed after a long stay in the hospital

Thank you for the loving welcome and piece of mind during my family’s stay Facility well maintained The website pics are accurate Conveniently located next to various restaurants, stores, and gas stations Parking lot is well lit and cameras are in view

Stacy Miller

The staff was incredible every one of them was very welcoming and very friendly! Now for the rooms, they need a major upgrade we had tiny ants which I was like whatever it happens no biggie but everything was very jank! Nothing to do with the employees I know that but the owner/management needs to step it up and redo their rooms Just some food for thought! The grounds were nice just need a lot of updates in the rooms for the price you pay Hopefully, they can give them some love and care and put a little love into them and not have such cheap junk! Spend a little of that money and put it into your rooms

Again we appreciate all the friendly employees that were just amazing thank you y’all 💜

My stay was for 5/1/2022 – 5/6/2022 (nice rooms)On our first night, our Tundra had its catalytic converter stolen while parked under a security camera, and parking lot light (Hotel staff offered no help, and mentioned that corporate took away their security guard)On our 3rd day, one of my 7 reservations was canceled without a reason

We were instructed to simply share a room (points were offered, but never sent)On the 4th day, both elevators went out on a 5 story hotel Some guests visiting the medical center for cancer services did not have the strength to reach their rooms via stairs One of our group had a great deal of difficulty due to recent knee replacementsStaff was friendly, but the front desk had a consistent attitude

I came to Houston for vacation and stayed at this hotel for an entire week I was placed in a hearing impaired suite, which was very clean and well maintainedPros for this Hotel are location, cleanliness, excellent staff and free breakfast

Cons were that the water pressure was low, with the hot water not working very well in both the kitchen and bathroom sinks My keycard also never seemed to work on the first few attemptsThe excellent location and friendly staff was what made my visit very enjoyable I would not hesitate to book this hotel in the future

Elvis Ruiz

Stayed here for a competition with my family The hotel looks like it was designed by Ikea, so yay! The room was clean and efficiently laid out The staff was friendly and professional

The breakfast was on par with most free hotel breakfasts I ask the hotel and Hilton in general, to pay more attention to sustainability Using styrofoam plates and single use plastic utensils and cups is no bueno

Justin Ofor

I wish i saw a 0, I would have scored you a 0, my experience was horrible, after booking through a third party for 6days, on my final day i missed my flight and requested for an extension which was done for me, went out came back to see the room cleaned all my stuffs were taken off including my anointing oili spoke to a front desk staff who put me through to the manager and we ended the call on a cordial note, but was rudely called by the same front desk officer and she started telling stuffs that i couldn’t understand, i told her to calm down that there was no need for her giving me attitude, next thing she said i going to check you out and i should leave the property, i said no and demanded to speak to her manager, next thing she did was to called the police on me, that was very scary and traumatic, i was eventually asked to leave by the policeit was really a sad day for me!!!I will never come to any home2 or Hilton subsidiary hotel again

We stayed here for 4 nights One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in as a family The suite was set up as an effiency apartment and was perfect for our needs

Lots of storage places, maximum use of space, the shower was updated and accessible Lots of food nearby (literally next door), and the parking garage easy to use Staff was always nice and helpful

christopher smith

Very nice, clean place to stay and it’s proximity to the NRG stadium made it a quick 10 minute walk to our venue The perk to staying here is they do NOT rent out their parking to the public during events It was nice to know your vehicle is safe from would be thieves

The property is well kept and the staff was friendly & welcoming If ever in the area again I would definitely choose this property over others in the area

Actually I’m not done, the Expedia account is under MY name She is listed under me and I booked the whole thing for her! And I’m sure there is recording of ME personally assisting with her checkin! My ID etc That’s the only reason I referenced “we”

She told me that night she was not comfortable with her stay so I told her to inquire about a early checkout and the refund process Hence the 6am inquiring Your staff said to contact our 3rd party so we did! At the end of the day Expedia wanted to issue me my refund but you all refused so don’t tell me to take it up with them?! 8+ years and I have never had this problem with them! They handle things accordingly and with professionalism unlike you all

Do Brasil

Again, I really can’t explain why I booked 3 nights, but the system booked for 4, as I mentioned Even if it was an honest mistake by not seeing the error done by the system, until later on

if that did not impede you from booking to someone else, I don’t understand why you took advantage of that I have stayed at your hotel many times, but won’t stay anymore From your response, it seems like you don’t care about losing my business

Jewell Booth

Good value for the price It is well decorated, offers the hot breakfast that most places no longer serve, and is in walking distance to a few restaurants and a supermarket I wasn’t impressed with the overall cleanliness

My first room did not have heat And one of the beds in my second room had a huge dip in the mattress All of the staff were very nice

This was the first time at this property for me It is a newer building with a very clean and attractive setting The outdoor deck is a very nice place to relax, have a drink or even eat a meal when it is not too hot out! The bar was extremely busy with large groups on both nights of my stay and that put a grind in the service even though the staff was nice and were trying hard to catch up

The food was actually good for a hotel and since I was on business and tired both nights I ended up eating there and pretty satisfied The rooms are very modern and up to date with large showers which I prefer I will stay here again The welcome macaroons and strawberries in my room was a nice touch!

F Nguyen

I had an exceptional stay at the Westin last week The staff are incredibly friendly, informative, and quick with their service The facilities are well kept, the room had a lot of modern amenities (including a lot of lighting options, which I particularly appreciated), and the on-site amenities were excellent

I highly recommend this place for business or pleasure!

Kelli Derum

Very nice place Nice rooms, though small Great workout facility, pool, and restaurant

Only complaint is the expensive parking Location is essentially on campus to the hospital with lots of restaurants within minutes of stepping out of the hotel: Halal Bros, Italian fastfood, Starbucks, and many more Hotel is also on the tram line

I got an incredibly good deal through Costco Travel — so I figured the accommodations would not be very nice I was so wrong! The room was gorgeous and had lots of features I really found helpful: a long bench you could use for suitcases or whatever instead of a single flimsy luggage stand Also

HOOKS! I wished my family was with me So many hotels just have one hook in the bathroom and it’s hard to keep track of whose towel is hose, have more than one bathroom kit up, etc I love the little key and purse stand in the front entry way The shower was hot and had water pressure The staff was SUPER nice and competent I also loved that the hotel itself was so close to so many dining options I was able to walk to the Mediterranean restaurant and pick up a lovely meal, walk to the gas station, and later drive to a pharmacy Oh yeah, the fitness center was pretty nice too Breakfast was yummy And last but not least, they were so kind to us coffee drinkers There were 3 types of caffeinated coffee in the room and I could even go get coffee in the afternoon from the lobby Coffee=happiness Thanks for a lovely stay!

Great Hotel Seems new My family and I enjoyed our room

Very spacious and clean We stayed on the first floor, the room has desk for working, a mini fridge, multiple lamps and a very, very nice bathroom We loved the back lit mirror Breakfast was available with so many options to choose from eggs, cereal, pancakes, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt and juices and coffee to name a few But the highlight for us, was realizing that the pillows and bed lining was hypoallergenic Our son has severe allergies and it was really nice to be able to sleep without him having breathing issues all night We really did appreciate that The staff was very helpful as well and onsight free parking, steps away from a few shops was nice as well

Overall, had a good stay Bed was comfy; room was clean The water pressure in the bathroom sink was slow

Front desk said ” that’s just the way it is” after sending maintenance up Water pressure in shower was fine You have to wait 2-3 seconds after pressing the remote control for TV to change channels Not a biggie – after we got adjusted Good location Breakfast was not bad At least it was hot

Will Van Luven

Stay was very nice especially with a last minute issue throwing our group for a loop When we arrive the front desk worker (Alvaro…apologies if misspelled) really helped our group with getting everything set for us He made sure we had all of the necessary comforts and truly helped us out a great deal

Room was very comfortable and had been thoroughly cleaned We had no issues with anything

Paul Watson

We arrived early on a Sunday afternoon, check in was 4 PM Front desk was very helpful we had to wait awhile but got in before 4 We were there for an appointment for M

D Anderson It’s an older facility, the breakfast area and lobby are small but adequate The manager Ommaney Smith was a wonderful helpM D Anderson requested that we plan for 5 days but it might be less We explained that at the front desk while checking in and they just smile and said no problem, just give us as much notice as you can If going to M D we recommend staying at a facility that has a shuttle service! They do, and it was golden!

No hot water for shower Not even luke warmRooms 111, 202, 219 and who knows how many other rooms don’t have it

Is it bad plumbing or cheap ownership won’t turn up the boilersI suspect plumbing because the vanity faucets get hot waterThe toilet flapper in room 111 keeps falling off and the toilet runs continuously wasting waterThis is a good hotel otherwiseALEX, You did not remedy the problem I only had 1 hot shower in 6 days and had to use another room to get itThis property has many issues with no hot waterAgain, last night I stayed in room 212 guess what?

David and Alex were amazingThey made a genuine effort to acknowledge our situation and then did all that was within their authorized limits to help us personally at the hotelFrom the front desk, to breakfast attendant, to the house keepers; the entire staff was kind, helpful, and accommodating

I stayed here this past weekend and I have to say everything was just lovely I was staying with my daughter, her husband and baby so we reserved a 2 room suite, the hotel offered to let us use a pack and play free of charge while there so that my grandson could sleep The pack and play was new, like it had never been used which was wonderful

The staff was so welcoming and nice, the breakfast was delicious! I really enjoyed the quiches for breakfast! First time staying at a Residence Inn but it will not be my last! Thank you for a pleasurable stay!

Michelle Solomon

Residence Inn have not changed one bit from the early 2000’s when I was traveling for work It’s 2022 a lot needs to changeHere is my list of concerns

1 The first room couch bed was broken and the room smelled like mildew, we requested a different room2 The second room smelled the same as the first one, so that tells me they don’t service each ac unit regularly and with covid still prevalent, it needs maintenanced at least every other week3 The rooms are outdated even though they added stainless steel appliances to have it appear updated4 The Marriott name when it comes to Residence Inn is being tarnished all because it appears that upper management doesn’t care about making sure the customers keep coming back to The Residence Inn5 The only reason I even stayed here is due to someone else paying for it The last time I stayed, my team had to be moved to another hotel6 I have a proposal for Marriott/Residence Innif you need assistance with rebranding I am more than willing to assistfor a fee7 Today, you need to be brought up to standards so you can stay in competition with the likes of Hilton and their brand

Matha Goram

The small team of dedicated and hardworking staff can only do so much when their hands are tiedThe age of the place can be deduced by the soiled carpets, chipped furniture and non-existent pest control servicesThe breakfast was a joke compounded by the failure to label the ingredients of the prepared food to assist those with allergy or dietary concerns

Wins the race for the worst Residence Inn experience in 35 years!

To start with the good

the room was clean The breakfast was ok, meaning it was ok, not great but could at least eat I paid for a premium room which should have given me faster internet and complimentary snacks daily This did not happen I had to request daily snack refill which did not happen until I complained then only happened after I complained agian which was still during my 6 day stay, yes 6 days So beware, if you book premium you will only get substandard room service

Sofia Flores

If you will be staying in the room next to the laundry beware every time someone is doing laundry the room will shake I literally freaked out since I was in the room alone with my 2 children had to called the front desk to ask if an earthquake was reported or what was going on It would have been nice to be warned about it or even better asked if we didn’t mind If I could add a video to this review I would

Great, friendly hotel – especially if you have pets I love that the housekeeping is opt-in instead of opt-out Made me feel so much more comfortable staying here with my cats

Bed was super comfy Staff was helpful & friendly Digital check-in option was great The only thing that could have been better was available restaurants in the area for food delivery I came in after 10pm on a Sunday and there were no good options to deliver in a reasonable timeframe

An excellent place to stay! Extremely clean and a well equipped room especially for families (microwave, dishwasher and fridge) Comfortable beds; spacious; clean bathrooms and a clean environment Let’s not forget about the amazing breakfast selection

I have to say that I was horrified by the state of my room I checked in late in the evening after a day of long travel form outside Texas Always satisfied with my Hilton experience, I didn’t feel the need to check the room before going to bed

What I woke up to is beyond comprehension and an experience that I have never had at any Hilton property1 I noticed stains on the bottom sheet of my bed They were faint, but they were distinct faded yellow stains on one side of the bottom sheet2 On the floor, near the desk, there were several morsels of dog food3 In the bathroom, one of the towels was stained with either lipstick or bloodThis is completely unacceptable When I asked to speak with the manager, I was told she was unavailable and give her email address Even after I mentioned the state of my room, the housekeeping staff didn’t come to clean the room nor was I offered a different room I contacted Hilton Customer service and they referred me back to the local team It’s troublesome to know that in a world where we are dealing with Covid and proper cleaning is essential, this housekeeping team has fallen way below the Hilton global standard I checked out early and went to another hotel

Overall an alright stay Staff was friendly and helpful and rooms were clean There’s a park with a creek right next to it

But I am a young female and had a male house keeper walk into my room at 8:30am and again at 9:30am unannounced They did not knock or say they were entering, just walked in They told me they are not aware what rooms are occupied Which okay, but they could at least knock and say a verbal warning?? I would leave a do not disturb sign on your door while staying here

Your key card system was apparently down and no one could tell me if this was a 30 minute emergency issue or a two day emergency issue Associate did not seem to care despite disgruntled guests, offered to refund me for my entire stay, but had the nerve to still implement a $75 pet FEE Horrible and did not make sense, when you are inconveniencing guests with having to get escorted to and from their room all hours of the day/ night on top of there only being one person working

So others are having to wait on you while you put a Be Right Back sign out, and you are still implementing a pet fee makes no sense when there is a card for incidentals on file and you are protected either way Apparently they do not care about business practices, because it’s fine to loose out on a $130 room but not a $75 pet fee My family had to spend an hour trying to cancel and rebook somewhere else in your lobby while your associate was on speaker enjoying a personal conversation laughing the entire time because of your key system and lack of compassion Do better

I was there from Thursday to Sunday loved every other time I’ve gone there never had a problem at all hotel has always been great Until this stay Mind you I was there 4 full days 3 nights

Night 1 we went to lay down at the end of the day had not be on the bed at all it was still tucked in like it should be when you arrive and it had an odor to it I asked my husband am I crazy? He says no I definitely smell it So I called the front desk she said ok I’ll have a cleaning lady go clean the room for you I said okay thank you That cleaning lady never came My son had to go and flag one down to ask if we could have towels because there was not 1 towel in my room after we used them and put them by the door as instructed by the housekeeping and we then received a small fleece blanket Not the down comforter that was supposed to be on the bed Okay no big deal right? Well every day after that I had to go ask for freaking towels because they never came to leave any We stayed 4 days! And had to get our own towels every single day Also the trash was unreal I had to go buy my own trash bags to put the trash in because NO ONE EVER CAME TO CLEAN THE ROOM And to top of this less than mediocre stay on our last night there 7 trucks get broken into One of them being mine Everything was torn up and they stole items from my truck in the parking lot of this establishment WHEN I TELL YOU THIS WAS A HOTEL STAY FROM HELL I AM NOT KIDDING

Due to a miscommunication, a hearing accessible room was booked instead of an ADA room which was needed Reeta was kind and understanding as she worked to find us an appropriate room She managed to fix everything so our room and stay was perfect

The ADA room we got was very large and very comfortable The roll in shower was wonderful Hotel is very clean and whenever we asked for anything, we got it right away The location is great as it is very near to the relatives we were visiting Staff was friendly and courteous Definitely would stay here again

Our stays at this hotel have been great and very accommodating! Rooms always clean to our expectations and the housekeeping staff has always been kind and very accommodating to every single request! Rohit ( the hotel clerk at the front desk) is wonderful! He was accommodating to every single need my family and I had and his customer service skills are beyond exceptional! He remembers my family by name whenever we see him, his conversations and suggestions have been so helpful and sincere, and he always has a welcoming and compassionate personality that lights up a room! It’s the staff that makes a hotel good and he does an absolutely great job!

Roach in our room Bathroom door latch was broken & wouldn’t stay closed Requested new room but was told none were available and maybe maintenance could come in the morning

I was fine with that However, went back to the room to find a cockroach crawling around Absolutely unacceptable Checked out within an hour of being there Horrible experience

I have been visiting this hotel in this location off and on for about 40 years

Formerly called The Warwick, it has been updated in a more modern fashion, transformed from conservative to a bit edgy in the decor The ZaZa is upscale yet warm and friendly Fairly nice rooms, wonderful restaurant and brunch, and nice bar It prides itself in it’s Excellent location and view of the museum district Will return again!

Daniel Harrison

Pros: Awesome location (lots of parks, museums, and other things to do within walking distance), room was beautiful and spacious, overall hotel decor was excellent – though eclectic – restaurant was really good, pool & pool area was nice Hotel was overall very clean and housekeeping did a great jobCons: Room price was very expensive

Spa & minibar prices were absurd Front desk/concierge service was fine but not amazing

I love this place the people, the service, the care, and the hot tub!!! When your here it’s like everyone understands what your going through… instantly I felt like I had support I’ve never had before and I could breath, relax, and get through this

We are here for a second opinion… but from the stories shared from those around me… this is a place of miraclesHaving a hotel connected to MD Anderson has been the biggest blessing! No worries on driving to appointments… and it is so easy to find where you need to go with maps, people, and staff all willing to help!My only regret is that we didn’t come sooner!!!

Stacey DeWeese

My dad and I stayed here while he was visiting MDA for a second opinion We were very pleased with the hotel The staff were all so friendly and helpful

The queen suite was well thought out and comfortable The restaurant was very good and there are other options available We took advantage of the shuttle service which was really nice since we did not rent a car Highly recommend

Michael Beran

Overall, this hotel is top notch and if I’m back visiting MD Anderson for a short stay, I will be back at Rotary House The hotel is only open to MDA patients and their families, and the staff are all aware of why people are there and all seemed to go the extra mile to make sure everyone is taken care of, whatever they needI especially enjoyed the employees at the small shop on the second floor

She knew who my wife was by the time I got out of the hospital and when I walked in the first time she asked if I was her husband and greeted me so kindly She had such a vibrant sense of life about her, I hope she’s still there the next time I stop in!
