My experience at The Clement was exceptional The hotel is beautiful The service is wonderful

The staff is incredible The general manager, Sebastian, is one of the most excellent hotel managers that I have ever met Sebastian described the elaborate collection of guitars present in the hotel and was so attentive that everything was taken care of before it even came to mind I would recommend The Clement to anybody You will not regret it

As far as location, it really can’t be beat It’s a true ski in/out property with the Heavenly gondola and Heavenly Village (shops/restaurants) right outside the door But that’s a bit of a negative as well, our room was facing the square and it got pretty loud at night, wish we had know and would have requested one facing the other way

We had a 1 bedroom that was very comfortable and had a full kitchen Be aware that it is only valet parking ($32 per night) and request your car early than you need it as they are short staffed One more thing, the pool is much smaller than the hotel photos suggest, that was a disappointment Overall, it was a very nice and comfortable stay and the staff was friendly

Luke Mohrlang

This is my family’s second stay at Timber Lodge in the last 6 years Both stays were awesome, and the staff and accommodations are excellent The proximity to everything is worth the stay alone, but the rooms, staff, and amenities are top notch

I enjoyed the fitness center both days we stayed and appreciated the selection of fitness equipment, as well as weights The facilities are very clean, the staff is friendly from the front desk to the maintenance employees you encounter while visiting I would definitely recommend Timber Lodge to families or couples on a getaway

Mike Edwards

We love staying at this resort The only problem they have is check in, check out , and parking The resort actually lost our car at the valet and it took them almost an hour to find it

During check in the lobby is packed with carts and people waiting for their rooms to be ready Just outside the lobby doors is total chaos with people waiting for luggage carts and cars everywhere Once you are checked in and get to your room everything is great I know this is partly because of Covid, but it wasn’t much better before With all this being said we will definitely be back

This is an excellent hotel Boutique, peaceful, and generally friendly staff However, when I asked for a glass of water at the bar, the bartender said, “we only serve water for those who order from us (I had and he hadn’t known)” though he did say that he would make an exception

I pointed out that I had ordered a glass of wine (I was sitting by the pool) and he did give me a glass of water Why would a hotel in Beverly Hills – among the wealthiest areas of the city in the wealthiest nation in the world – deny a guest a glass of water (even if he had not ordered a drink from the bar)? Did race play a role? I’ll never know But these are the small things that management can correct to make this a five star hotel

Vella P

The hotel itself is really nice looking The waterfalls, koi ponds and greenery throughout the hotel is beautiful The pool area looks nice as well

The fitness area is small but nice and clean My only complaints are the very loud people that was in the room next to us and the fact that the bathroom door didn’t close at all It was more than halfway open and wouldn’t budge past that due to the bulging area in the floor underneath the door I let the front desk know upon checking out, but I’m sure that the previous guests in room 611 had to say something or at least housekeeping should have mentioned it

Raymond ZadigVoltaire

From the moment I drove up to ask the doorman where I could park after a 4 hour drive to get here we had attitude problems from the whole staff He didn’t acknowledge I was even there just looked straight forward and no dialogue until I initiated it After that I had to walk all my families heavy bags across the street where I saw him previously taking others bags and yet he walked away into the hotel as we approached

There was no greeting at the front desk The “kid” had an attitude from the start and it seemed as if I was talking to a wall of a personality My company had previously paid for my room for three days and in there system they said I had no room, that is until I showed them my digital receipt Then they said “even though we had a card on file that paid for the room” we had to pay yet again in person My company spoke to them over the phone and they would not take a card Extremely disappointed with this hotel as it looked beautiful I work for one of the top jewelry companies in the world and I will NOT recommend anyone to ever stay here

This was my second stay at this hotel This Residence Inn has extremely accommodating staff and is in a great location This is a quiet hotel with wonderful kitchenettes, everything was spotlessly clean

It is super convenient to have both cold and hot breakfast selections each day (I only wish the hot food selection was more diverse) If you need peace and quiet, this is the hotel for you

M and E Race

The moment you walk in to the lobby it smelled like mildew and funky gym bags! The parking is a nightmare, 42 dollars for parking!!! Unaccommodating for disabled people There is only one access point on the roof to the hotel in the self parking garage The room wasn’t any better

It smelled like funk and other smells I can’t quite describe The room looked and felt dirty even after I wiped it down with Clorox wipes Lipstick on a pig, and run down, room was also constantly dark no matter the time of day Next time I will listen to the reviews, we won’t be returning to this run down hotel Look elsewhere

Joe Hall

This hotel is tough Internet connect is too slow for remote working or streaming It worked fine when we checked in and then dropped off the speed to completely useless the second day and on through for the remainder of our stay

Housekeeping was so noisy out in the hallway on the 4th Floor and that kicked off around 8:00 am – banging and letting the door across from our room bang and bang over and over Staff morale appears terrible at this hotel Almost no one looks at you or even makes an attempt at friendliness Breakfast staff were the worst Guests have to ask them to refill empty containers during the morning meal They mostly stand and talk to one another (two ladies) rather than attending to the food or cleaning the tables The hotel was not like this in the past – very disappointed Shaking my head!

The stay was wonderful The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, they always made sure to keep the spirits highThe room was beautiful, good space and clean

The pool and the jacuzzi were really nice The restaurants had live music, fitness center was 24h They had some activities throughout the week There was no view toward the beach, but it’s only 10min walk away from Aliso beach where the Lost Pier Cafe offers complimentary beach umbrella and chair for guestsIt is definitely a romantic getaway

JR Mariano

We visited the Ranch at Laguna Beach for a quick spring break getaway The location and grounds are amazing, only 15 hours from Los Angeles, walking distance to the beach, and the people and vibe of Laguna Beach are very calm and laid back

We were treated amazingly by the front desk staff upon checking in, especially Olivia, who was professional, knowledgeable, and welcomed our family with open arms We look forward to returning to the Ranch soon and wouldn’t hesitate to refer this property to all our friends and family!

Steve Smith

Our stay was nice, rooms nice, played golf also very nice Patio’s and restaurant was solid ok Live music on deck very nice, but 200$ to sit by your fire pits completely stupid

Each night I was there, (3) nobody used them I think management should be embarrassed Interesting how many other people thought it was ridiculous as well Obviously not about building community as much as making a buck

The only real reason to select this hotel is the really good breakfastEverything else is on the level of a 2 star hotel:lousy WLANno HBOno free water and if asked for at the front desk they state that free water is only available for prime members ( room cost north of $300 per night – well

hard to include free water yes great management decision)Door lock of the room door took more than 24 hours to get fixedno free parkingRoom service only every third daySo over all a pretty bad decision to stay here Well: Staff is friendly, room is clean and tidySo it seems that the bad decisions are top down not bottom upFor me clear: avoid if possible

Excellent resort and and in a very prime and central location It’s right next to Mammoth Village, which has a lot of nice places to eat and shopping You can either walk there or take the shuttle provided by the hotel

The customer service here is outstanding If you have an electric car, they also provide free charging in the parking garage Very clean and good rooms The restaurant in the hotel has good food and they also have a bar Highly recommend staying here

Jacquelyn R

We had a fantastic stay at The Westin Monache and I can’t wait to go back The level of service and attention to detail is the best I’ve ever experienced, and I’ve stayed at some very nice hotels in big cities The hotel was extremely clean, it’s in a great location, and the staff were so friendly and helpful

I can’t compliment them enough The mountain view from the bedroom was beautiful to wake up to, and the bed (mattress/pillows/sheets) was the best I’ve ever slept on at a hotel Incidentally, our room was a next to The Village and we were able to see fireworks from both our bedroom and balcony on the evening of July 2nd Highly recommend

Miss Vee

Perfect for someone traveling to enjoy the outdoors, shuttle bus stop is walkable and nearby grocery store is perfect so you can take advantage of the kitchenette Quiet, clean and comfortable The front desk staff were helpful with anything I needed

Sparkling wine service every evening until 10 a great perk I would stay here again and again

Great property with a free breakfast and Tesla chargers for guests Now the $20 for parking is not ideal but it could have been worse I did have an issue with the flat $200 hold placed on my credit card, I’m not use to having my credit card treated like it’s a debit card

I must applaud Angel Working the front desk as she was just a pleasure to deal with and she made sure my stay was good, the rooms are nice and clean along with sanitizing and bagging up the remote control which is one of the dirtiest things you will ever encounter in a hotel room I was lucky to have a room that faced the Bay side of the hotel and it was definitely a nice view to have since it was a clearer evening and morning in the bay You will be happy with the location as there are plenty of food and dining options within walking distance along with some shopping opportunities in the other shopping center within a 10 minutes walk I can say that this day was very pleasant along with we felt very safe on the property along with our vehicle being in an area where it was protected even without having a fence system to keep other individuals out There is some foot traffic due to a few bus stops along the route but there isn’t anything major that you should be concerned about, you can stay here with peace of mind that you will have a good clean room and a hotel that looks very modern and welcoming I know once my travels bring me back to the area we definitely have a new favorite place to stay

Dut Kasilag

Good stay !Wonderful option if you want to be close to Berkeley and have some peace and quiet and be close to the shopsGood facilities, there is enough parking with breakfast included For additional food options, The Public Market is right across

The staff upgraded us to a ocean view, top floor, corner unit which had a great view of the ocean and a large balcony The facilities were very clean, maintenance was responsive and resolve issues quickly The staff kept us informed and asked if we needed anything via text messages which we appreciated

The unit was large and quite The beach was right outside the unit The TV didn’t work but they are working to resolve that and replace their provider In the meantime, they had a large selection of movies that you can check out of the office for free We had a great time and the staff was wonderful The room was very clean and they changed out our towels 2x during the 7 days and did a mini cleaning mid way Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we would highly recommend

This hotel was wonderful Right on the beach! Beautiful pool area, loved all the tables to sit and have breakfast/coffee/dinner outside in the fresh air Loved the fire pit tables at night

We had 4 rooms, all on the ground floor that lead out to the pool/patio area, right next to the area to order food, it was so convenient to go to each-other’s rooms, meet for drinks, the kids went back and forth easily Rooms were very clean They had fridges in the rooms and hot coffee/tea and cold water and lemonade available all day The staff went above and beyond, each and every person we interacted it They also offered wonderful restaurants suggestions! The parking area underneath was small and tight and hard to get a large SUV parked but they offer valet and that was a nice added bonus The location was great, lots of places within walking distance Loved our stay

We just had yet another awesome stay at this wonderful property With 5 of us travelling (my wife and 3 children) we need a lot of room so we booked a two bedroom suite and it was perfect, with more than enough room and all the amenities you could want The staff was super friendly and professional and we really felt at home

A special shout out to the lady that runs the activity center and leads the morning hikes She was the greatest! My family really enjoyed some of the art activities that she offered and I was really impressed by her knowledge of the local flora and fauna as she pointed out various interesting bits of information as she led the morning nature hikes The food was great both at the Cove bar and when the wife and I wanted something a little more upscale the Restaurant at the Westin (which was only a two minute walk from our room) was fantastic I’d just like to thank the staff for making our stay so special and in particular Ms Megan Connor the GM who makes it all happen

James Deguzman

The rooms are nice and spacious The staff is what makes this place great The front desk personnel were nice and courteous and very accommodating

Our room was super clean by housekeeping upon arrival I also noticed the cleaning staff clean the bbq grills on a regular basis Events staff and employees around the pool area were all super friendly and helpful All the staff make this place an amazing place to stay

BB rEflecTion

Beautiful area, direct access to Lego land Easy trail to walk on Good pool side services

One of TV in our bedroom is broken on sound, but everything else in the room is fine There’s some construction going on but not bad on noise level ( To be fair, the screaming kids at the pool is the responsibility of the parents) This is one of good HGVC properties that actually care about the owners, compared to some others I had been Keep it up and we’ll be back!

I just completed my third stay at El Dorado Hotel and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The rooms are impeccably clean, beautiful and comfortable The food is amazing and can’t be beat The water is the best! The staff is so nice and helpful

The location is fun You could ask for more, but why? Seems like everything you could need or want I’ll be back!

Karin Alvarado

Third time staying here The food, service, and ambiance are great I love coming to eat here even if I’m not staying at the hotel

The main reason for the three stars is the noise in the rooms The walls tend to be thin I’ve stayed at the cottages and in the rooms not facing the park and I’ve been woken up by neighboring guests, a trash truck, and this last time, loud ongoing noises from the kitchen at 4:20 am! Not a restful stay

This hotel is awesome! For starters, parking is in the back of the hotel, its inside the parking garage, it may not look like it belongs to the hotel but they do share it with a different company You have to sign in first and pay for parking at the front desk and they give you a card to get in and out of the parking garage There is lots of parking at all times so do not worry about space

The hotel itself is very clean and quite and doesnt stink It’s very professional and looks high class and its very fancy and clean The rooms are very spacious and have a kitchen and a great view Overall it was a 10/10 experience and a great stay!

Very clean room, hats off to the housekeeping staff! My room was a spacious suite with 2 beds Room was updated and modern Deducting one star for front desk staff not mentioning the complimentary breakfast or where it was at and also the limited menu and mediocre food quality and service at the downstairs restaurant

I ordered the hummus plate and it was a plate with hummus, a drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette and crispy pita chips The hummus did not taste even as good as hummus from Costco

Our room here was very comfortable for sleeping, showering, and eating in front of the TV Nice to have a kitchen for refrigerating and reheating leftovers And real plates and utensils!Front desk staff was courteous and helpful

And the business center was comfortable for a couple hours of work on our laptopsWe are, however, from Florida So when attempting to dine on property, we were disappointed when asked for our vaccine cards before even being greetedWe were also told rudely, without eye contact, as though sub-human, that we were not allowed to serve ourselves continental breakfast without wearing a mask, even though we’d be sitting just 20 feet away while eating it, unmaskedWe were also not allowed to purchase coffee while unmaskedSome readers of these events are happy And that’s okayBut what’s not okay is the way we were viewed and treated: as unclean, unworthy, low-class outsiders When denied coffee, I looked around and saw a Jewish man and a seemingly single mother Neither spoke in my defense I appreciated the irony but would have preferred coffee

Good service, nice breakfast buffet I got upgraded to a suite for a small additional charge The hotel is new, the AC unit is also new and wasn’t functioning properly, a tech had to come in

Also, fire alarm went off in the entire hotel one eveningBut room service is great, staff is friendly, and rooms are clean

The staff were so attentive to our needs, which made the stay even more enjoyable I have always loved the quaint size of the lodge, which affords us more privacy Our favorite spot is the lake access, which is very inviting and accessible

My kids enjoyed being greeted with cookies when we checked in – snacks are always appreciated! In addition to the beautiful room and comfortable accommodations, I think my favorite thing was the text messaging We received reminders about cleaning services and communication via text was so easy and efficient I can’t wait to return!

Wonderful resort! The kitchen and bathroom were renovated for a contemporary look making the space feel clean and inviting So many Tahoe lodging options have the exact opposite with outdated furnishing and decor which often gives an unclean appearanceThe staff was very attentive to our after-hours check-in/out so the process went smoothly

Communication was also done via text messaging which received very fast responses during business hoursA great place to stay if looking for a place in Lake Tahoe’s north shore!

What a great place! I was visiting Lake Tahoe, and it was supposed to be just a day trip but decided to get a room last minuteI wandered into the lobby and from minute one the ladies behind the counter were so welcoming! They made me feel like we were old friends!Since I was just staying one night the room had a lot more than I needed, (like a full kitchen), but was reasonably priced for what it wasThe Murphy bed in the room was a nice idea

Our room was spotlessly cleaned and very welcomingThere is only one thing that wasn’t perfect in my view, it’s also the reason that this isn’t my first 5 star review on this siteThere wasn’t air conditioning in the room, (or we weren’t smart enough to figure out how to use it, if it was there)As long as you are going to be visiting Lake Tahoe during a cooler time where a/c isn’t as important, you would be crazy not to check this place out first!

Oh Lord! Where do I begin? This place is absolutely filthy As soon as we came off the elevator there was the stench of vomit throughout the floor It stunk inside our room as well because the stench seeped in

Nothing was cleaned properly – hair, dirt and dust on the furniture, counters, sink and in the bathtub, in the cupboards, etcAt breakfast they had the most horrifying food I’ve ever ingested This place was an absolute nightmare They need to completely close for a few months and deep clean, as well as do a complete overhaul of management I cannot believe this place is run by Marriott Horrifying!
