I did not stay at the inn, but had an appointment at the spa a few weeks ago, and it was amazing The staff was super helpful and my massage therapist was very kind, professional, and knowledgeable This was my third professional massage and I felt like it was much more functional than the previous massages I’ve had, and I left with a better understanding of the origins of my back pain

The room itself was very cute and calming, opening onto a beautiful patio Overall great experience and I would return next time I’m in Sonoma

This review is specifically for the spa services as we stayed at a different hotelWe did a couples massage and were very happy with Chris and Stephanie They were very professional and knew their way around the various muscles to remove tension from the body

The room was well appointed, private, and felt like a retreat We will definitely come again!

Wow had an absolutely incredible prenatal massage with Kassandra!! I asked for deep pressure and she gave me exactly what I was looking for She did not waste a single moment and I was in heaven throughout She had the prenatal moulded supports too, so that I could lay on my stomach, which made a huge difference

Lots of lovely touches like hot towels, too 💆🏼‍♀️

My husband’s company hosted an amazing trip to this beautiful resort The room/suite was immaculate and furnished with top-notch appliances, decor, and amenities Stainless steel, clean, beautiful appliances create a comfortable and beautiful kitchen

This suite also boasts a wine bar complete with sink and wine refrigerator The bedroom and bathroom are separate and beautiful as well There is a patio facing the golf course The patio has comfortable furniture and a grill Both the living room and bedroom have sliding glass doors I’ve been to many hotels and resorts, and I’m enormously impressed with this one! The mansion is also a lovely location for events The indoor and outdoor spaces are lovely Staff is kind, attentive, and accommodating

This place is absolutely the worst They are outright thieves My husband and I have a $600 gift certificate and we have been told that the new management has “changed the rules” about how gift certificates can be redeemed

Boils down to the fact that there is no way to spend this money at the resort without losing a large portion of it $ people have told us 4 different things and we still have not been able to use a legitimate gift certificate in a satisfactory manner at the resort Tried to use it at The Grill and were told we had to spend all of it at one time or we would forfeit the remaining balance Highway robbery Can’t use it for golf – which is over priced anyway Can’t use it for food unless you spend it all at once Can’t use it at the spa – unless you book an experience that costs $600This is certainly illegal, as they don’t publish any restrictions on using it, they just wait until you get here and then explain that there are only very limited ways to use legitimate fundsDon’t patronize this place, they are awful

Mitchell Tu

We arrived, tired, at 2pm and were told that our rooms would absolutely be ready by 4pm at the latest In the meantime, we were literally sleeping on the couches in the main roomCome 4pm, no call or notice was given

So we asked the front desk, which told us there would need to be a wait of 30 more minutes Only after one of our party complained and asked for a refund did they give us another room If you had a room this entire time why didn’t you give it to us to begin with???Incredibly terrible service, the front desk had no sympathy nor willingness to be creative or flexible The rooms weren’t anything special either – you’re better off in terms of amenities at any business chain hotel, especially for the costThe golf course was great, I will say Food was good in the experience I had of it Grounds are pretty but not spectacular

Any 4 or 5 star reviews that this property has can NOT be genuine reviews Don’t walk, RUN from this property There aren’t too many options in the area and i thought i did my due diligence in selecting a simple clean hotel with good enough reviews

I was so wrong There were live AND dead ants in the room and cigar particles and beard hair in the sink upon arrival Absolutely disgusting Management unfortunately did not feel it necessary to call me back to address my concerns If you’re going to spend $250 on a hotel room, do NOT spend it here You will regret Allow my mistake to be your warning

payton becki

The hotel was nice, what you would expect and the location was central to wine country But the 5 stars goes specifically to Sharon We checked in on Friday after a terrible day in San Francisco and she was the person you needed to see to ensure a good vacation for the entire weekend

She checked on us every time she saw us come back to the hotel and recommended places to us to ensure we had a great time If Sharon is still here the next time we come to NorCal, we will stay here just to see her again!!!!

Shan Jones

This hotel did not deliver what they promised We booked a package for a higher rate than the standard rate The package states on the website wine passes, a bottle of champagne and free breakfast

The one thing that drew us into booking was the wine passes Sometimes the wineries can get a little pricey and we figured this would be nice When we checked in we didn’t get anything so I asked the front desk before we left to get lunch and they said everything would be in our room when we came back When we arrived back later a $10 bottle of champagne was in our room and no wine passes I asked why there were no wine passes and back and fourth with the front desk lady, she kept saying the bottle of champagne was in the room Finally after explaining we didn’t care about the champagne we cared about getting everything we were promised The front desk lady explained the champagne was in the room Again I said it’s not about the champagne it’s about everything that was promised in the package is not here She finally says due to covid they don’t receive passes Okay, that’s fine Covid has been going on for TWO years why wasn’t this fixed on the website TWO years ago? It’s been one week since our stay and I’ve been going back and fourth with this hotel on honoring me the price of the standard rate since we were not promised what we booked with the package rate They have yet to give us anything The only thing they have done is change their package booking on the website and finally took out the wine passes In the package From the front desk agent not letting us speak to a manager because “she’s been doing this a long time” to the front office manager Stephanie Ramirez sending me a “ the wine passes are only a 10% discount I apologize for the miscommunication” to the Hotel GM Juan saying the passes were optional No one has given us a straight answer or compensation for the package booked Why state on your website “We promise you’ll besatisfied, or we’ll make it right That’sour commitment to you Ask us aboutThe Fairfield 100% Guarantee“ if this simply is not true?

If you are visiting Napa, I would highly recommend staying at the Cambria Hotel Its very new and is located 4 minutes from downtown Napa Upon arrival, the front desk staff was very welcoming and provided us with a bag full of treats since I am a rewards member! The lobby was up to date and had a nice fire place and bar

The room was AMAZING! The bathroom was spacious and extremely clean Whoever manages the cleaning staff for this hotel does a great job!

Robin Epstein

Clean new hotel with beautiful lobby and seating area Very attentive staff A big TY to Serenity for helping us out with reservation

Her calm and caring demeanor was so beyond helpfulRooms were clean, bed was comfortableLocation is a bit out of the historic downtown core of Napa but very walkable

KW

Napa Valley hotel prices can be extremely pricey; however, this establishment gives you the best of both worlds in comparison to its competition: great pricing and location The rooms are clean, modern, and the staff is welcoming The happy hour specials are great and worth checking out

Special shout-out to JP (bartender) and Megan (front-desk manager) for providing exceptional service!

Clean and technologically advanced rooms lead to great comfort and charmMy team stayed 3 days/nights at the R Inn and had a wonderful time Board Room was great for our meetings and with the zoom capabilities and large screen display, we were able to teleconference with ease

Sean was a very gracious host and showed great care for all of our team/needs Really quaint and lovely property that seems to attract very nice, hospitable guests Folks we ran into during the stay were regulars and couldn’t agree with us more on how convenient and upscale the accommodations are at R InnDefinitely worth checking out!

Kelly Fox

Nice setting, close to several spots to dine or drink, very nicely decorated Was mostly self service with very detailed instructions for arrival and entry to the property, making it easy to navigate to the room and the amenities Simple and at the same time, elegant

Rooms were a bit small but had everything we neededWe will stay again and will recommend for our families!

Great location for walking downtown The room we had was only a room with a bathroom The fridge and coffee machine is communal among a few rooms

If you are looking for a hotel-like room, this is not it I liked the room and don’t mind sharing a fridge Lovely old house with a good breakfast Met some people who have been to kc where I am from It was great to meet new people

John Houston (Ghost2Post)

Just a lovely hotel has so much charm Truly enjoyed the sitting rooms and the breakfast was amazing The location is fantastic, it is a two block walk to downtown Napa with all the shops and nightlife

Knocked it a star as you cannot connect any device to the TV and while the TV does has a DVD connected to it, for the life of us we could not figure out how to make it work, we eventually gave up

Nicolas Valle Vieytes

The location is excellent, but the price is too high for what it is Just a Bed and Breakfast Make sure off you book it is because you are paying that location premium but don’t expect an experience to match the price

We stayed in one of the small rooms, we knew it when we booked it so it was OK, but defintely worth considering depending your preferencesTo management just a few recommendations to improve the very small room: make that would make it more functional and improve the guest experience: hooks for towels in the bathroom, an extra shelf on the bathroom where more cosmetic items can be placed, shower button does not work properly, an open closet or a shelf on the wall by the door would allow for guests to still have a suitcase open during the stay

Wonderful 360 views from the Hilltop which has Firepits, gathering areas and a mesmerizing pool Borrow a book and read in a spot of your choosing The Rooms and entrance/front desk sits at the bottom of the hill with meandering walkways and groups of units

Unlike a hotel with halls and rooms, here it’s laid out with rooms as separate “houses” with porches and front lawns Great place to relax, walk, meditate and socialize Shuffleboard and bocci for funMarket where you can purchase sundries, goods, drinks and snacks

David Woon

Only came for dinner on date night! Reservations are a must of you bank on eating here as it does book out way in advance If not you can still come to explore the beautiful grounds with Bocci ball courts, raised vegetable beds, chickens and a market to boot! The enormous covered patio features great loungers and fireside seating where if you did not have restaurant reservations still provide a smaller bites menu from the bar With drinks of course!

Came here for our 10 year anniversary in napa This hotel was a great location, small and clean just great It is pricey but worth the cost

I didn’t notice too many hotels in area with pools etc we stayed 4th of july middle of week in the vineyard view rooms upstairs with balcony so nice Just sitting on the porch every morning seeing the sunrise with the coffee they give you was great pool, jacuzi and fire wasn’t that busy the whole time we were there and the breakfast was great There were a few minor things with the room that could be improved one of the sinks was clogged up and one of the lights were out on the ceiling Also noticed a big spiderweb in the corner of the porch balcony with a lot of bugs in it like it’s been there awhile

Ashley Payne

From the moment I drove onto the grounds, I knew I would love this place It is absolutely stunning The staff was kind and welcoming

Our room was spacious and the bathroom was a dream It was so large with the most wonderful oversized walk in shower The robes and slippers were a welcome touch after spending a day in the rain in Napa The wine tasting by the fire place in the lobby was cozy and relaxing The breakfast was the perfect light meal in preparation for a day or wine tasting and exploring Highly recommend

Most courteous and knowledgeable staff Lindsey, who helped take care of our room during our stay, was amazing, super nice and very detail oriented The breakfast was more than we ever expected and it was such a wonderful and yummy start to each of our days in Napa

The room was really great and the bed was very comfortable It was also great to have access to the guest laundry so we didn’t have to pack dirty clothes! We will definitely be logging this location as our go to for our visits to Napa every time! Thanks to everyone for such a great stay!

Lauren Mallet

Hotel was in close enough proximity to Napa that it was convenient However, I found it to be pretty dirty For example, the door to my bathroom had a giant splatter all over it

Also, the shower curtain did not come down into the tub and the water would get everywhere in the bathroom Also, IHG has now decided to provide nothing in the room and you have to ask the front desk for everything now, even a pen! I understand this is the Holiday Inn Express but I was expecting more than express attention to detail

We stayed at this place for four nights while visiting NapaThe location is good – an easy drive to the heart of town and a short walk to a couple of fast food and breakfast jointsOur room was good size, clean and on the ground floor, which was convenient

The hotel breakfast was very basic motel fare Unfortunately, another guest started every morning chain smoking and talking loudly on his phone for an hour or so right outside of our door That wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but none of the staff said anything about it either

Aaron Donnell

Very satisfied with what I got for the price Tried to find an affordable place near Napa central city area, and this made it reasonable with a small drive to get there Nothing special about rooms except well-kept and nice mattress and pillows, very good sleep

Surprisingly kind and attentive front desk staff, I suspected less for the price point Morning breakfast was simple and satisfying, good scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, oatmeal, cereals, coffee, juices Walked to Chipotle and Marshall’s next door for goods Would do it again

Helen Arens

Clean, well managed property along a little offshoot of the Napa River Quick check-in, free breakfast buffet, plenty of free parking and free wifi Rooms are comfortable, with fridge and microwave, but no safe

Love the sound of frogs and crickets at night, sounds like you’re out in the wilderness, but you’re just a couple of minutes from downtown Napa and the upscale restaurants of Riverfront If you want to save some money, you can eat at one of the restaurants in the shopping center next door, like Chipotle

Last minute reservation, had mixed feelings from reviews This place was nice, staff was all friendly and helpful Room was clean, pool area was kept clean

I did use the hot tub briefly but seen bugs and hopped out Lol nothing major as my husband said it is outside I just don’t do bugs But I was pleasantly surprised by the property Location was great for us just on the outskirts of everything took us about 15 min to drive to Downtown Fridge and microwave in room is always great I would absolutely stay again and recommend

Craig Smith

We only spent one night there but we spent more time in the hotel then we actually did wine tasting The happy hour was killer like always and the breakfast was amazing as well Beautiful property with super warm and friendly staff

The pool was clean and warm! It’s about a mile to downtown Napa and we made the trek (in our 40’s) and had a blast in downtown Napa and just Ubered home Can’t say enough about how much we loved it There are plenty cheaper options with better views but you get what you pay for and we had a blast!

Kelly Foster

It is expensive like everything else in Napa, but we enjoyed the cocktail hour and breakfast The pool area was calm and refreshing The ladies at the front desk were kind and accommodating

The one less star is all about the AC The room was 76 when we arrived,! It took awhile for it to get to a decent temp, but it was never consistent At night I (and several others out of our group of 8) woke up sweating one moment and freezing the next With 90 degree days and 50 degree nights in the summer, we should have been able to rely on our room to be more comfortable and consistent with the temperature Otherwise, great stay!

Nicely located in walking distance from the Culinary Institute, various breweries, and restaurants downtown Napa You can also board the Wine Train here (although we didn’t as we were told it’s overpriced and limits access to some of the more exotic wineries) The hotel has a nice bar, restaurant, conference facilities, and outdoor pool

The workout room is fine even for a longer stay We found the staff helpful, friendly, and professional The rooms are modern and well cleaned every day

The Westin Verasa Napa is located nearby to the Oxbow Market and downtown Napa, making the location attractive for many and a much much better option than the Marriott (see my other review on reasons to avoid)The Westin offers spacious rooms, nice pool area, gym and a decent restaurant (haven’t eaten there yet — options locally are incredible)The Westin is very pricey but it’s location makes up for the difference

We’ve stayed here a number of times and it continues to deliver consistently

Kayla handled my reservation and was amazing her customer service is top notch and what I come to expect as a Lifetime Platinum/Titanium Guest of Marriott Bonvoy She was quick and helpful and extremely professional yet kind, as a loyal member I appreciate that type of service it goes a very long wayThis property is one of my favorite in Napa as far as Marriotts are concerned, the beds are extremely comfortable, the room are always clean and big and the hotel is quiet

Out side the pool and hot tub are always clean and there is often available space to hang out by the pool I always receive amazing service while down at the pool Overall the property is beautiful, I love where it is nestled but the customer service by Kayla is the reason I wrote this review Thank you, Kayla, for quickly accommodating my request!

I just completed my third stay at El Dorado Hotel and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The rooms are impeccably clean, beautiful and comfortable The food is amazing and can’t be beat The water is the best! The staff is so nice and helpful

The location is fun You could ask for more, but why? Seems like everything you could need or want I’ll be back!

Third time staying here The food, service, and ambiance are great I love coming to eat here even if I’m not staying at the hotel

The main reason for the three stars is the noise in the rooms The walls tend to be thin I’ve stayed at the cottages and in the rooms not facing the park and I’ve been woken up by neighboring guests, a trash truck, and this last time, loud ongoing noises from the kitchen at 4:20 am! Not a restful stay

Cute place, clean and comfortable rooms Friendly staff and service Enjoyed the small breakfast with fresh muffins

Feels safe there Adequate parking with some spots under cover Room was on street side by round about so a bit noisy, bed was on the firmer side and shower didn’t have great water pressure but it was also an ADA shower with a handle so that could have been why Would like a full length mirror in room as well Overall a great stay and within walking distance to downtown about 17 minutes

Great hotel in Napa Not right downtown but close enough Rooms are nice and clean

Grounds are really nice They have an outdoor area to grab a drink and hang out Outdoor TVs, dart boards, ping pong tables and corn hole Super fun to just relax outside and play games with friendsThe bar inside is nice and they have some good drinks The front desk staff is a little under educated on how to treat guests Not very helpful with requests

This Marriott was a good-value place to stay in Napa; great location to travel up valley to the wineries without shelling out an exorbitant amount that you would for other hotels in town that may have more frills and amenitiesThe standout though was the service we received from the front desk manager Nichole We had a bit of car trouble on our trip, and Nichole immediately sprang into action and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable while the situation was handled

The outpouring of help and sympathy we got from all the staff was wonderful and made dealing with the situation much less stressful They also were able to hold our luggage after check-out before our flight to help make the “car fiasco” easierThank you again Nichole!!!!

This hotel does not live up to the Marriott experience I was aware that there was construction going on in the entrance area, but all other amenities that you normally get as an elite member were not available at this location Cleaning and room service was okay

The spa has none of the amenities that were listed on the Marriott site They also messed up on my billing One of the ladies at the front desk was always very dismissive Everything seemed a little off However, it was nice to have a garden patio room

We love coming to RiverPointe Napa We’ve made it into an annual thing The cottages are perfect which the right amount of amenities, parking is convenient, and there’s lots to do at the resort and nearby area

Our group loved using the Pool, Recreation room and the ping pong table We took the kids on a nature walk along the Napa river that runs along the resort with their own path and the kids had a blast We had a one bedroom suite which was perfect for a family of four The rooms have just what you need (kitchen, TVs, pull out couch, chair, small table, dishes, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, AC & fans) Each cottage also has a common shared patio with the guest next door We went in a group so our common patio area was used well Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and the staff were so FRIENDLY Staff always made us feel welcome, Thank You RiverPointe

This was the perfect place to use as a home base during our Napa trip! it’s definitely tiny home style living, but is equipped with EVERYTHING you need to be comfortable for your stay We were two friends and split up between the bedroom and the comfy sofa in the living room I don’t think this would be large enough for more than 3 adults or a family with older children

We loved the hot tub and pool, walking the trail adjacent to the parking lot, and being so close to downtown

Lovely stay The cabins are clean and efficient The deck was awesome for night time dinners or hanging with friends

I am a tea drinker – the cabin actually had a tea pot! Club house offers different activities One day was sangria with chips and salsa on the outside patio This was nice Overall a great place to stay Pool and hot tubs nice
