Our group took over half of the main house on my recommendation Reviews were great and location was great It is a quaint family owned B&B that includes rooms in the main house and cottages next door if you need more space

Breakfast was divine! Homemade bread, egg casserole, fruit, smoothies YUM! We stayed in the Sports Memorabilia room in June The room was spacious and bathroom was ample However, it is the warmest room in the main house They were gracious enough to turn down the AC — Sorry other patrons we froze you out Other members of our group reported their rooms were chilly If you like to sleep with it cold, then avoid this room but DO NOT AVOID the Montford InnThe lounge was a great place to recharge and visit with other patrons and the other members of our group Wine available for free Fresh baked cookies daily for free Beautiful patio that I would love to enjoy when it is no blazing hot summer Easy access to University and restaurants nearby either on foot, in car or with scooter rental Ideal locationSome of our group opted to stay in hotels by the interstate and were jealous of our accommodations, food, location and amenities offered They all agreed that Montford was the better option

Me and my husband had an amazing night here Everything was perfect and there was so many cute things to look at It had a very cozy comfy vibe and I loved looking at all the potted plants

One of the lady’s there even let me take a small plant snipping home with me We both loved it and will definitely be coming back some dayThe only problem we had is that the heater in our room didn’t work, it wouldn’t get very hot and it also wouldn’t stay on more than maybe 3 minutes Fortunately we just grabbed one quilts in our room and it helped a little bitAlso the breakfast was very tasty, I got a gluten free cranberry French toast muffin thing with cream cheese in it I loved it so much❤❤❤❤❤

My husband and I traveled here to spend a weekend away for my birthday We stayed in the Scissortail and had hands down one of the best stays and experiences we have ever had We travel all over and this Inn is top notch

The family and staff running the business are very nice and accommodating and the rooms are cozy, clean, and very comfortable The jetted tub, 2 fireplaces, and outdoor patio space was a great perk of the room Extra points (wish there were extra stars) for the amount of blankets in the room, as many hotels lack that feature The breakfast was delicious and we loved the delivery to the door

We had a wonderful stay here! Cody atthe front desk was so sweet and veryhelpfulThe front lobby and side sitting room areboth nice and modern while also beingcomfortable A very nice ambiance!Breakfast was great, and they had agood variety of items

Having two wafflemakers was a nice touch helps to avoida line! The eggs were great and seemedpretty fresh They had frittatas thesecond morning and they were deliciousThey do have on-site laundry available, but it only takes quarters – would be niceto have a card readerAlso, we found the mattresses prettyfirm and not super comfortable Still gota good night’s sleep though Plenty ofpillows and fresh linens of courseThis was our first time at a Best Western, but we will definitely return!

Rin Kyubi

Hotel and rooms were filthy Not sure if they only clean the upper floors but the entire bottom floor besides the lobby was gross We even had to wait on our room to be “cleaned” despite being 30 minutes late to our said arrival time

Certain staff were unhelpful when requesting items such as towels or even having questions about their services They have a weird policy when paying with Debit cards that they will not tell you about until it becomes a problem Otherwise the free breakfast is nice and most other staff members are friendly

Kayla Duzan

My stay was so excellent because front desk Cody was truly amazing, understanding, and helpful We were in Norman because grandma was in hospital he made us feel welcomed and very easy to check in Thank you Cody it really meant alot

Breakfast was hot and devious Will definitely recommend this hotelAgain Cody you were amazing!!!

Came in around 8pm and was immediately greeted by a young man named Anthony Moretti front desk clerk He checked me into my room and was very nice and professional I was in a box truck and wanted to be able to view it so that nobody messed with it

He suggested parking it in the back of hotel and gave me another room with a perfect view of my truck 🚚 I slept so well in a clean room and really enjoyed my visit I will definitely stay here again and I recommend this place to anyone that wants a good, nice, sleep in a clean and friendly atmosphere Breakfast was great 👍 as well, plenty of variety

We stayed twice at this hotel within the last 2 weeks I would actually give this 4 7/8 stars ! My only complaint was that the room airconditioner very slightly put water on the floor

( OK folks, it was 111 and humid outside It was cool insideso a bit of condensation happening I would think) Put a towel down and good to go Everything worked This is a ” 2 star” hotel that played above it’s weight I have been in some 3 star hotels that weren’t as nice ! Prices were reasonable Breakfast was good Beds were good It was CLEAN Did I mention the staff in general and especially the front desk were top notch !?! Both times we stayed were positive and I would stay there again ( Dont pay extra to stay somewhere else that is more big brand name than anything else)

We love this place Super friendly staff, everyone we met who is also staying here have been families Everyone has been happy and super nice

We had a very enjoyable stay, the only thing we didn’t like was the bed We found it a bit too firm for us, but we are old farts so we like softer beds That being said, we will stay here again without question!!!

Vanessa R

Happy to stay in a clean place with comfy beds and lots of room The room has a cooked food smell but considering they all have mini kitchens and carpet

Smells are going to stick! Also, pet fee is steep for one night We were using hotel points but 75 dollars for one night stay is rough Overall a decent stay but probably not if you’re traveling with pets

Tim DeWitt

The over facility is okay The rooms are clean and the staff helpful The reason for my three star rating is that for the price we paid, the mattresses were terrible

They were so bad they played a significant part in our decision to check out a day early The primary function of a hotel is to provide safe, clean place where you can get good rest, so I always heavily weight the importance of having a comfortable bed to sleep in

megan ailey

Rooms are clean Beds are not the most comfortable, and my pillow was hard/lumpy The service was nice and friendly

I took the stairs after the first trip on the elevator, as it made me a bit uncomfortable The lock on the door to our room malfunctioned more than not, which made it hard to enter They had breakfast, not much food The eggs tasted like powdered eggs, and they didn’t have anything other than coffee to drink No water, no juice, no milk

Zachary Keim

The bathroom has duel doors with no lock The knobs on the doors kept coming off so someone from the outside would have to let you out The air conditioner sounded like a sprinkler system when starting up

They double charged us for the room There was no toilet paper, and we had ask for some There was 2 towels for 4 people The beds were also quite old and lumpy We will not book there again

For the reasonable price, this place was great: clean, updated rooms, nice pool, and good hot breakfast Really appreciate enough towels in the room (didn’t have to ask for more) and a powerful hair dryer Those are the little things that kick the rating up to 5

And the young man at check in was so friendly and helpful He made the whole stay start off on a great note

Roger Coles

This place is very clean – in the rooms, the lobby and the hallways Everyone we met that works there is friendly and helpful All the essentials for a place to sleep while visiting the area

I will say it is 5 stars for the price It was almost as good as the Marriott hotels I am used to and for about half the price I like the beds and pillows of the Marriott, but cannot complain about the good night’s sleep we had at the Best Western

Jake Dilbeck

Power was out in our neighborhood thought we would get a pet friendly hotel for the night for our dog and 2 kids We have a 6 month old baby and a three year old Huge mistake!! Upon walking in the room a quick glance at the bed let me know everything

Looked liked someone peed all in the bed and made the bed over it The pillows and sheets were stained everywhere even had blood or brown spots after I took all the sheets off and requested new ones Upon getting more sheets they were dirty as well Had dog hair in them and were also stained in various places I felt so dirty just touching them We had to resort to staying at the house without power bc everyone was booked and no more rooms were available Definitely would not even let a homeless person sleep in something like that much less our children Lost a customer for lifeDO Better!!

Room was very spacious, shower hot, and pillows perfect Bed was good but not great Room keys didn’t work upon arrival

Breakfast was “heat in your own room”, but our microwave was broken Rooms were somewhat outdated Pool was questionable and very outdated New flooring needed Work out facility was a joke It served its purpose of a good nights sleep in between days of driving, staff was helpful, but I wouldn’t stay here again

Latata _

Not bad, but definitely not goodLady at the front desk was very sweet The WiFi is spotty, sometimes going out for hours

There was a strange hissing in the room every 10 minutes from the AC The doorknob was ready to fall off to the bathroom, and room cleaning felt VERY surface level The breakfast food was bread-based and even the packaged cinnamon rolls were dryIf you’re staying, good luck It did not feel like a $100, I’d stay at the hotel across the street

Doug Williams

First off the bed was very uncomfortable 2nd the next morning my wife woke up to a roach on the desk 3rd we didn’t have any face towels to take a shower with

4th the phone in the didn’t work so we had to use our phones to call downstairs 5th wasn’t told that there wasn’t any breakfast until the next morning after we get downstairs We’ve stayed here before and it wasn’t this bad I think this was our last time staying here We checked in Friday 3-18-22 and we checked out Sun 3-20-22

Stayed here for 3 nights Staff was always so sweet and accommodating Room was clean, and the full fridge, dishes, dishwasher, microwave were very convenient and we used them daily

Beds were too soft for my preference, but that was a minor thing Breakfast was good with waffles, bagels, English muffins, toast, yogurt, fruit, eggs in various forms, oatmeal, juices Pool was outside and the kids had fun using it Was a little cold for them Would definitely stay here again!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Home 2 Suites South! From the moment my parents and I checked in, we noticed the cleanliness of the lobby and friendliness of the front desk representative Shannon! She was a great help that night and throughout our stay-she is an exemplary employee! I must add every front desk representative was great and provided great service, but Shannon stood out! I was also impressed by the housekeeping staff! They keep the hotel and rooms very clean, smelling fresh and looking nice; they were also very friendly and helpful! I was weary about staying at a hotel that is pet-friendly but because they clean so well, I didn’t smell any pet smells or see any pet hairs or poop anywhere-thank you so much for doing such a great job!

Charles Williams

My family and I always stay at a Home2 hotel when we travel We really enjoy the experience Unfortunately this time I experience unfavorable parking

After checkout heading to my vehicle I noticed the driver’s side front window was busted My truck got broken into during the daytime I hope this never happens again and the property’s manager can beef up his security team and surveillance cameras to make the environment more safe and secure because I really like staying there Other than that the staff, manager and employees are all wonderful people super friendly and professional I hope we have a better experience next time Safety first!

My FAVORITE hotel! We’re not world travelers by any means but we have been to several countries in Europe, had the privilege of going to Israel and our stops in the US range from Alaska to Maine including Kansas City & many others in between Hands down, Embassy Suites in Norman, Oklahoma is by our favorite! We always ask for the 2 room suite-1king bed The bedroom is at the back and has a door to separate it from the rest of the suite

That allows me to sit & read without disturbing my husband There is a couch and a chair in addition to the desk chairs, so great sitting options for us who would rather chill in the room than stay out lateIn addition to the desk that has generous work area, we also really enjoy & use the separate ‘kitchen’ area equipped with coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator and safe The water pressure and temperature were great-better than our home The complimentary breakfast bar has a wonderful variety and convenient hours The complimentary evening reception with beverages & snacks is above and beyond anything we’ve experienced elsewhereThe towels are very nice quality, the hotel very clean, ample parking and well lighted Extremely safe with many choice restaurants nearby I’m sure I’m forgetting to share other pertinent details but bottom line, we are repeat customers and these are just some of the reasons why!

Kasey Wilson

Check in was quick and easy We received a text less than an hour from the hotel asking how our room was We have little kids and they love going to the pool

The pool water was a good temperature and not too cold for the kids The pool also kept lots of warm towels near the exit which made getting out of the pool with toddlers much easier Lots of restaurants close by and a cute bakery (that my kids loved) was close too The breakfast had lots of options and the staff did a great job keeping it fully stocked We will definitely be back

Amanda Avila

Such a great family friendly hotel We always have a good time each visit Most of the time we come for a stay-cation, this time we are here while our home is remodeled

The managers reception is always a nice way to relax at the end of a day, the food is good and the atmosphere is a delight The pool is huge and is great year-round, the fitness center has plenty of equipment for a good workout, the staff is always nice and the breakfast is everything you’d want to start your day The only thing I would love to see is more Gluten-free options on the menus

THE POOL WAS OPEN!!! Everything was really great Breakfast, coffee, juice, fresh fruit, waffle maker, eggs, biscuits and gravy

YUM!! Ice maker on the 4th floor worked Customer service was excellent Everything in the room worked as it should Bed & pillows were awesome We stayed 2 nights and housekeeping had no problem replacing our towels and even took our trash after the first night Beautiful Hotel inside We were aggravated (for the hotel, not at them) by how people just left their trash in the parking lot The elevators were kinda scary sounding 😆 but all in allwe hope to return soon! Well Done Comfort Inn, Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Rebecca Potts

Was a nice place to stay, they had issues with the doors Broken lock on door by pool Couldn’t use key card to open, they said we had to walk around the building to get back in, even though we could have used the other door closer but they wouldn’t unlock the gate at that end

?? So had to walk through where everyone was checking in and out Rooms clean and nice I did enjoy the salt water pool too They had a security light hanging off the wall Think they need a good maintenance person

Haley

No problems our entire stay No complaints about room, noise, trash, etc After we checked out that’s when issues started

Was accused of stealing a soap dish and charged $20 Staff was rude even though I was polite and tried to work with them despite the accusatory attitude I got Was put on hold for an hour and then hung up on one day Repeatedly told someone would call me back and no one ever would This dragged out for a month I had to call corporate eventually to get it resolved bc staff was unresponsive and constantly lying to me and giving me a run around Corporate customer service was extremely nice and helpful The hotel manager eventually came back to work after 2-3 weeks and issued a refund Never experienced a situation like this before

My wife and I were traveling with our dog from Des Moines to Austin and decided to spend the night in OKC We were looking for a hotel that was dog friendly, had an electric vehicle charger (its nice to wake up to a full charge!), and had a refrigerator for keeping my medication cold Home2 Suites checked all the boxes and was in a great location- near 35 but not so close that we could hear it from the room

The staff is friendly, the hotel is modern and clean, and the complimentary breakfast was good I’ll plan to stay again the next time I make the trip

Kari Kyle

So far our stay has been really good There was a mixup at check-in with our room, but the manager Jessie, I hope I spelled that correctly, has been absolutely fantastic She has gone above and beyond for me and my family

We were able to move into the correct room, after 1 night in a comparable room, which is exceptional The room is extremely clean and comfortable Jessie even delivered our new room keys up to us so we wouldn’t have to go back downstairs I would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be staying here again Also, Jessie needs a raise! Customer service is everything in this business and she scored off the charts in this area

I had a great stay at this hotel recently The rooms are clean and comfy although a little outdated, the staff was friendly as can be, and the black bear diner was so phenomenal and is within a short walking distance from the hotel My only complaints about the place are that there is construction going on so I drove around for 20 minutes trying to find the hotel which is no fault of theirs

I ended up parking at the Sheraton, walking to the hotel and asking how to get my vehicle there and they were super helpful Besides that, just little things like my key card not working and the eggs for breakfast being sliced like cubes instead of fluffed to try to imitate actual eggs At the end of the day, I would stay there again because the rooms were fine, staff was amazing, and the food nearby was out of this world Not to mention that they have the GOOD dog treats (the bacon ones) My pups are so picky about treats and usually don’t take the hand outs (spoiled) but they happily ate the bacon treats they were offered

Ashley Nickell

My friend found bedbugs in her room We were all on the same floor and only one room apart maybe After going to the front desk and telling them about it I was instructed to go back to my room and wait for the manager to call me

We had video evidence I was told after the hotel staff confirm they were bedbugs in my room they would contact me I still have not been contacted and I am unsure if it was inspected by a pest control company As I was told my friends room did not have bedbugs and there was not a bug guy at the hotel We had to bag all our clothing We had to change hotels this was during a competition and database inconvenience we missed performances It made the day extremely stressful and definitely put a damper on our trip to Oklahoma City Three out of the forecast in my room have bites on them I would just like small solution to this issue We have had to steam Everything that can’t be washed, we have to have a car treated, And we have costumes that cannot be washed or have steam applied to them so now we are trying to figure out how to salvage 2 to $300 costumes

The management and staff at this hotel have been fantastic I had to come into town because my father fell ill What was expected to be a stay of a few days has so far turned into a couple of weeks

During our stay the management and staff have been very accommodating with my chaotic needs as I have had to extend my stay several timesThe rooms are very nice for the price, especially considering the amenities for the rooms and property My room had a fridge an a microwave which became a necessity as the length of my stay increased The laundry room was also very convenient considering I hadn’t brought enough clothes for my lengthened tripThe maintenance staff checked in regularly and gave me space when needing to focus on work form my roomOverall I would definitely recommend this hotel for any purpose because although my stay was primarily for person/family, I had no issues being able to work from my room as needed

Lacy broomhall

The entryway is really pretty with the colorful water bubbles This place is very modern The bed was soft

The breakfast is okay I feel like they could benefit from having a second elevator Maybe I expect too much for a room that’s $150 a night but it was just okay here nothing exceptional I made a lot of trips in and out the building I stayed two nights and by the time I was all night too I was ready to go from the people people staring as you walk through the lobby to go to and from your room

We had an excellent experience here during our 4-night stay Room was comfy, quiet, able to be completely darkened at night Beds and pillows are not the best but fine

Room is cleaned daily and very well Breakfast is good and is very well attended to and restocked as needed no matter the time Again, everything very clean Staff is accommodating and friendly Pool is very chilly, but the kids adjusted fine Adjacent hot tub is very toasty and inviting Overall, no complaints We would definitely mark it as a rebook if we ever come this way again

I really liked the King suite because it had a totally separate living room, little kitchen area, 2 closets and bathroom that had access from both the living room and the bedroom It was about 400 sqft The set up makes me believe it is a facility the military uses for temporary housing

Tinker AFB is not farThey have a nice pool, outdoor patio, gym, hot breakfast, all day coffee and ice water I would stay there again

The beds were hard as a rock, the covers felt like sleeping with a plastic shower curtain, and the morning kitchen lady was extremely rude She rudely corrected my 2 year old son, and the other family that was in there at the same time Trying to make it known it’s HER kitchen and we will do leave/do things up to HER standards

Front desk staff was so nice and helpful upon our late night arrival Rooms were decently clean, but as a frequent Drury user I felt let down when I tried another hotel chain I feel like the kitchen lady need a refresher on customer service and how to be NICE

Nice clean facility, we got the king suite with jacuzzi tub It was nice however the faucet fixtures were not mounted so the water spout came off while we were filling the tub and water sprayed the entire room( 2x) Also the toilet flusher broke while we werw there

Staff were friendly, probably would stay here again with hopes they fix the water spout_ toilet issues lol Pet friendly with a $20 per pet add on per night

we stayed a night in the wagon and really enjoyed it the idea to do this was great and the execution to pull it off was great too they thought of every little detail

The other perks of staying including getting to visit the farm and activities was a big bonus we visited during the off-season (middle of February) and had the whole farm to ourselves Feeding the animals and all of the activities make the trip even betterStaff was really nice too, easy check-in and thorough details to welcome usMy only small suggestion, it would be nice to have coded locks on the bathrooms so you aren’t worrying about a key

I really do like this place The only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 starts is because the lack of changing tables! I think I found one in a bathroom in a really isolated area and that was itThey do have a great variety of games and activities for kids

Great place to spend the day!

My family and I stayed 2 nights in one of the teepees and I really wanted to love this place The teepees were very nice and well maintained along with the restrooms The kids loved the activities, although any that require employees were closed along with all of the food and drink options

The bad part was the lack of enforcement by management/ownership Other guests were lighting off loud fireworks right next to the teepees as well as blaring their radios well into the night This is supposed to be a family friendly place but management took no action and made it very difficult to make it through the night with two young kids and no noise or safety enforcement
