Counter staff are competent, confident and courteous This modern facility had everything for everyone Spacious lobby and business center that is clean and well maintained

Pool requires a waiver as there is no lifeguardParking is plentiful and well lit Easy access from the highway and great location GPS maps still haven’t caught up with road placement so be aware on those last 200 yards from the main roadBreakfast is same general fare you’d get anywhere else They keep it stocked and clean

I did not have any problems with service Though they charged a $100 fee for early departure The rooms were good

Though the shower doors were not level, causing them to constantly slide open I had to wedge a towel between them to stop this The hotel is located higher than the majority of other businesses so you can get some nice views

I wish there was a button for less than poor The manager would not work with me at all about canceling my room and crediting me back the 34000 for one nights stay 4+ months in advance

I even asked if they could just tag my name and if someone else wanted a room for the night to please make them happy by giving them a room graduation weekend and then it makes me happy to get a full refund I also asked if I could just get a voucher for another nights stay in the future All was a no and I am not even able to transfer the room to someone else However, he was willing to cancel the room so he could get another guest to stay He wouldn’t work with me at all

While the room was clean, and the breakfast was good, I had a difficult night sleeping here First – the beds have this heavy quilted cover in place of a normal blanket This proved too hot for sleeping in, and without it there was just a sheet

So I had to beg the front desk for a blanket, and they dug up a fleece blanket, which was better but still too warm Second – the AC unit doesn’t let you use the “fan only” mode It used to, but they have now installed a wall control unit that doesn’t let you keep the fan on, so most of the night the fan is off and you can hear noises in the hall, next door, and in the parking lot The AC unit didn’t seem to do a great job of cooling the room The controls on the original unit looked like they would’ve done a great job, but they were disabled Why?Disappointing for the price I paid

Great customer service, especially the breakfast staff My family loved the baseball themed artwork in the room We were so excited to get to the Hall of Fame my son forgot the jersey he wanted to wear in the room

We called the front desk and they had the jersey ready for us to pick up by the time we returned to the hotel Very friendly staff

Shower head had mildew heavy , ac system would shut off staff was friendly and desk manager was a gentleman, breakfast wasn’t bad either but for the money charged I’ve stayed in a Hilton in Orlando for way less , truly abuse price don’t offer daily cleaning , almost fainted because of smell of chlorine in indoor pool , mattress needs to be changed springs are hitting your back ,go to sleep cold wake up sweating look at your bill to me they had snuck in a gift shop charge 800 fallouts that’s fine but not right , elevator very slow a lot of sounds , sleeping at night was a challenge you hear everything on the top floor keys falling anything that falls on floor , you hear even people walking and the water flowing in bathroom from up stairs toilet

and the gentleman and lady at breakfast they tried always to please guest but truly with all honesty find somewhere else that matches what you see in pictures

Yours Truly

Definitely find somewhere else if you can Service sucks Discrimination exists if you’re not “their kind”

Rooms are dated TVs are tiny for the brand/price of room Furniture is scratched and just old Stains in carpets Room reeked of “wet dog” Beds lumpy They will not service room unless you put a sign on door Halls smelled like cigarettes, but dare not complain unless you want to be threatened Staff doesn’t wear masks or sanitize Manager RUDE and dislikes communicating with guests, always use staff as “middle person” when issues arise! Loud guests all day/night…especially night Unwelcoming looks if you’re “different” If you make a complaint, they WILL turn it around on you somehow, someway Very distasteful establishment nonetheless The courtyard and Holiday Inn are much better similar options in this area

The room was lovely The first night was amazing It is really uncomfortable knowing that after reporting this situation 3 times the hotel is okay with allowing 15 little girls (ages 6-10 maybe) alone in the pool area

With the parents not around Don’t want to think the worst but can’t help it when the hotel can’t even follow the rules posted in the pool area

In the four years we have visited our college student (now a graduate) in Oneonta we have stayed at the Hampton Inn The location is perfect to access the two colleges in town The rooms are clean

The staff is wonderful and very accommodating For graduation weekend they had a food bar in the lobby with hotdogs, bottles of water, brownies, snacks, and even cotton candy! It was lovely I will miss going there

HIGHLY recommend Deerhaven Campground The location, price, cleanliness, views and amenities were 5 out of 5 stars Located less than 2 minutes from All-Star Village, Deerhaven winds up the side of the mountain with amazing views

The campground is owned and ran by a husband and wife who are very kind and accommodating Deerhaven offers campsite, cabin and two RV rentals We rented RV2 for 7 days Both RV1 and RV2 are very spacious, updated and very clean RV2 has a bunk area with enough room to sleep 4 kids in twin beds, pull out double sofa and kitchen table bed along with a queen bedroom They offer a linen package for an additional $75 We chose to bring our own pillows and linens The kitchen is stocked with basic silverware, pots and pans, cups, coffeemaker and toaster There is also deck on the outside of the camper with seating for four The site is beautiful and private Be sure to bring firewood and smores supplies :)The price is very affordable for under $1k for the week considering the location Location really matters when you have late night and early morning gamesIf we had to make this trip again I would choose Deerhaven!!

We had an amazing time at Deer Haven over a weekend with friends! Cabins were clean and large with many accommodations Pool and playground were perfect for all the kids to use! Husband checked in after working a 16 hour shift and was given a room that was never cleaned… Beds disheveled and towels all over the bathroom floor Somehow the cleaning staff completely missed this room and they gave it to my husband

They had no one to clean the room and no other rooms to give him and just gave him clean sheets and towels No other hotel rooms were available in the area or he would’ve left Unbelievable
