Great experience for our first time! Check in was a breeze and the employees were so friendly and helpful The hotel is very well decorated and small details did not go unnoticed We loved the “worms” in our bed 😜🐛 the breakfast area was small but nice and we started the day with a good breakfast

The pool was a little smaller than we had hoped and was packed especially with the hot tub being closed I did notice a decent workout room The rooms were cute and comfortable The bed sheets were a little noisy and crinkly sounding There was a slight odor in the room but nothing too terrible It was the perfect place to stay for our visit across the street to the Bass pro shops aquarium and museum It would be really nice to have a crosswalk connecting the lodge and the store across the street We had to run across four lanes of traffic with small kids I would definitely recommend staying here! Nice, affordable, clean, good service We will be back!

First time staying here was a great one The staff was pleasant and nice They was very helpful

I was paying with gift cards and the young lady (Kalyn) was nice and patient when there was a line to check in behind me She made sure as soon as we got there that our stay was going to be a good one My family had 2 adjoining rooms which was nice It was decorated nicely The place was clean and beds comfortable Breakfast was above average than most places I have stayed We will definitely stay again

Matthew Barnett

It was a pretty nice stay Staff was very nice Room could have been just a little bit cleaner

Didn’t really get much sleep, the neighbors were up all night, but that’s not really the staffs fault I guess they probably could start putting adults only rooms on the top floor, like they do at the Marriott Probably gonna airbnb a house next trip for less noise, but overall they done a good job

Had a nice one-night stay here with my wife and children while passing through town We had a two-bedroom suite which was nice and spacious There were copious outlets for charging appliances and gadgets

The breakfast was quite nice for a “free” breakfast and certainly made getting the day started a lot quicker Staff were pleasant and the place was clean overall The gym was small but functional

Jake Moyer

I stayed in this hotel for 3 months with my wife, 1, 12, 13 year old and a big dog We ordered the sweet so that we would have a stove and could cook which was really handy They were highly negotiable on the price if you want to stay long term

Everything in the hotel was very clean, staff was friendly always and always at the front desk In three months I never once did not see someone attending the front desk The cleaning staff was exceptionally good, they respect your privacy while being on top of things There is a nice gym, outdoor pool, basketball and tennis court, And there is a gas station/McDonald’s a half a block away and a Wallgreens a couple blocks away I would highly recommend this place, especially over the place next to it!

Tony Ezell

Rooms are in dire need of updating, stayed 3 nights , in a different room all 3 nights, all were maintenance issues, although the housekeeping department could use some professional training For a hotel this size and being in one of our nation’s top tourist city’s, you would think the owner or owners would want better reviews and more return patrons, but it is very obvious, these owners are in it strictly for their pockets They definitely won’t have to worry about me or mine ever returning

This is THE place to stay Hands down the friendliest and most compassionate staff I have stayed in this hotel before and loved it, so naturally I booked it when I was in town for my dad’s funeral

After I had checked in, I found out my family members were staying in the Hampton Inn across the city Even though I had already checked in, the front desk staff refunded us our money and offered heartfelt condolences and prayers for my family I fully was willing to pay for both hotels as I had already been in the room, but they insisted on the refund My husband said we are Hilton brand people for life now The hotel itself is clean and convenient for eating and shopping I highly recommended it before and insist you stay there after my experience today

Linda Gragg

The room was clean The bed was very comfortable Only negative thing is The bath tub was a little slick and has a slight slope to it

Thank goodness it had a hand railThe staff is very friendly and helpful I would definitely stay here again

Lauren Bauer

This place was absolutely filthy I was booked for two nights November 2021 There was something (I think ants, I have pictures) underneath the mattress and crumbs in the bed

Then I noticed crickets on the floor There was also hair in the sink and on the bathroom counter I explained the situation and showed my picture to the front desk staff and I was offered the room next door instead However, I still was not comfortable staying there due to lack of cleanliness and checked out to another hotel The place definitely needs updated and deep cleaned

Surprisingly nice Rooms seemed to be recently remodeled, everything was clean and well-lit, the breakfast selection was decent Coffee was available in the lobby all day

The pool area was clean and well stocked although the pool room is badly designed so that any noise echoes around so much it almost deafens you The staff were very friendly and accommodating and they offered a variety of kitchen appliance you could borrow and use in your kitchenette, like a rice cooker, blender, etc

Frecky Lewis

My wife and kids stayed here for two nights The staff couldn’t be more pleasant, both the desk staff and those who work the bar/restaurant We had a two-bedroom suite, and it was functional but a little on the small side

the faucet in the bathroom sink had an odd spray pattern to it and the shower faucet was a little on the weak side But the room was basically clean and comfortable; I just think the hotel is a little older and showing its age We didn’t have too much vehicular noise despite being directly across the street from Mercy Hospital

Kelli Roberts

Very nice rooms It’s always nice to have a kitchen available while traveling Beds are comfortable and there’s enough work space for two people

The gym and breakfast were both nice No complaints!

This was my first stay at Greenstay and it was the reviews that encouraged me to try them out It was my experience that earned this review The staff was wonderful – pleasant, friendly, and just what I needed after being on the road all day

Their claim to be a pet-friendly hotel was right! Because they were able to, they purposely put us in a ground floor room with door access to their green area outside The room was clean, no odors whatsoever, comfy bed and pillows, and toiletry amenities Not too long after we got settled in, the front desk called to see if we needed anything Great price on the room too 10⭐️

Brandy Tracy

Our check in was HORRIBLE We got to the hotel at 2:20, and we were told there was NO way we could check in until 4 We were there for a soccer tournament, so we were hoping for a few minutes to let the kids rest between games

When we found out we couldn’t check in, we went into town to waste a little bit At 3:20 I call the hotel to see if there was any way we could get checked in and the girl at the desk tells me, sure that check in is 3, there is no problem (we would have just waited there had we known we could have checked in at 3 rather than 4)When we got to the room, it was clean, the beds were not the most comfortable, two adults in a full size bed was not ideal, but I guess my fault for assuming that a double room came with at least queen size beds the sheets and blankets where thin, I spent most of the night cold and uncomfortable, and woke to a swollen face as I was allergic to something in the pillowThe breakfast was the best part of our stay It was better than most of the hotels breakfast you can get We choose this because of the price Next time I’ll spend the extra and go someplace where we’re more comfortable

Tom Ballard

This really is a bottom of the barrel place to stay! Looks good in the photo, but that is where the quality begins and ends The place smells when you walk in The carpet is worn out

The furniture in the room must be from thrift stores, the bed was the worst, and I found little whisker hairs on the sheets There was no hair conditioner, and the temp controls are the worst The thing that really stood out was the medical syringe on the bathroom floor I called front desk and they came got it, but, really, would you want to stay here??? I think not!!! I can say the breakfast was fairly decent! It might have been the best part if the visit!!! But, I assure you, I was glad to leave the place!!!!

The rooms need some updating The bed was comfy The tv could be better quality

The big issue was the bathroom area Exceedingly basic with no vanity or shelves in the bathroom/shower The commode was the old style you’d find at a rest area not an upscale hotel & convention center The sink area had minimal flat surface for toiletries, etc The Fire and Ice restaurant was very nice Service was outstanding Taylor was awesome and made sure I always had a drink!

Malachai Sparkles

I now work as a housekeeper at the Oasis, and have stayed at the Oasis for a nice “getaway” in the past I haven’t stayed at many hotels in Springfield specifically, but I have stayed at a few around Missouri This is absolutely the nicest hotel I’ve stayed at for many reasons (And I’m saying that and I’ve stayed in $200+ a night, 5-star hotels before)

The friendliness of the staff is absolutely amazing! We service rooms every day, so if you’re staying more than one night, you don’t have to ask for service, we’ll ask you! Rooms are kept clean and tidy, and any maintenance issues are dealt with almost immediately My favourite part of the hotel is the indoor pool in the Atrium All the plants in there are REAL and absolutely beautiful! There are so many great options for rooms, including some nicer Suites and Penthouses/Townhouses! Entire hotel is completely wheelchair accessible! You will not regret your stay! Remember to tip and enjoy yourselves!!!

Yvonne Novak

We had the updated section of hotel near indoor pool and it was phenomenal! It was a special getaway weekend for my husband and me Garrett Oglesby was AWESOME! There was a crazy day of checking out from a conference before us but he made it such a smooth transition Talk about professionalism during that chaos! Then I got turned around and could not get my key to work and Garrett made sure I was taken care of! We had such an enjoyable and RELAXING weekend!!!

Here are the pro’s and cons Pro, it is a very beautiful hotel Pro, the hotel is pet friendly Pro, the staff is friendly and helpful

The hotel is new Con, the rate we got was pretty high It had a free breakfast, which is also a pro It is near the highway We stayed here with my dog If you bring your pet, be aware there is a pet fee

Larry Templeton

Good overnight stay while passing through Felt new-ish Clean, safe, plenty of parking on surface and adjacent 2-level deck

Beds were meh comfortable…fine but nothing special Well designed rooms and layout The below-average towel quality kept this from being a 5 star They were adequate, but only adequate, particularly when compared to the rest of the facility / experience

David Hulshoff

Huge shout out to Miranda at the front desk, she made our check in super easy and when we got in our room we couldn’t get one of the TVs to work come to find out someone took the HDMI cable guess they really needed it lol Maintenance had us fixed pretty quick They were nice to offer extra points or something from the snack bar

When we returned from Bass pro Aquarium we found a small bag with happy birthday written on it Miranda asked about our visit and told her it was my son’s bday so we came down for the weekend I read so many reviews on hotels and this one had a lot of great reviews, I can say with the crew they have now they are doing a great job I did find out the neighborhood isn’t that great but they have a parking garage almost attached to the hotel if you are worried about your car I did see security driving thru the parking lot at about 1am I would return for sure Thanks for a great weekend!

Nice full sized beds, clean room, very friendly staff Even during construction/remodeling of the roof I heard no noise and had no complaints Slept like a baby

The only weird thing was the toilet and shower are behind a separate door while the sink is in the bedroom with you, but the door is a sliding pocket door instead of a regular hinge door so that was a little weird Also, the shower isn’t a normal shower It’s a curve capsule type thing, not a normal stall The walls are a curved, but it’s bigger than it originally looks after you open the glass shower door Just don’t expect any of your shower stuff to stay on the shower shelf because it is also curved so everything slides off Indoor pool was heated and felt great! Also had a jacuzzi which was nice and hot Pool has a deep end of only 5 feet and for someone short like me, that was nice Overall, would stay at again

KLM

Rooms are older but very clean Bed was comfortable Shower is the little round kind but the water pressure was fantastic!Wonderful service from check in to check out

Kitchen staff was polite and efficient Food was normal biscuits, gravy, sausage, eggs, pancakes etc Served warm and plentyLocation was slightly difficult to find but once there the location was great Walking distance to convenience store and Texas RoadhouseOhalmost forget The Donuts!! Way to go what a treat💖🍩Reasonably priced, so I Would most definitely stay here again

jmeeaver6

We had an impromptu stay for my birthday My wife and I were without kids for the evening We had to pay a 250

00 deposit for the room because we were local I think it’s a silly policy, but they were one of the only hotels in Springfield that would even rent a room to someone who lives locallyif it wasn’t for that policy, I would have given a higher rating Staff was great and room was clean and invitingrating is not a reflection of the property or staff, just the silly deposit policythey said it is because locals have trashed the rooms previously, but anyone from anywhere could do that, so doesn’t make sense to me They say the deposit gets returned in 2 to 10 days

Great value stay The bed is very comfortable and the room is spacious Everything needed for a great night stay is there

The free breakfast is hot and tasty Exceeded my expectations The gym equipment is nice well equippedOther than the wall us very thin, we can hear the neighbors as it seemed that they were in the same roomThe AC unit is not central therefore a bit noisy but on the bright side it created a nice white noise

Andrew Perez

The staff tried to intimidate us after a mistake on their end LOCK YOUR DOORS!I never write reviews, but this was something that was extremely concerning and others should be awareWe booked 2 rooms on booking

com We arrived, checked in, signed the papers, and received our keys for the rooms All should have been goodThen their night staff opened our door at 11 pm (I forgot to lock the door He was very kind), he simply stated “Oh I’m sorry, we don’t have it down on here that anyone is staying here” I let him know we paid for the room and were in fact staying there He let us beThen at 8 am, some lady from the front along with the maintenance man came BANGING on our door, waking up my wife, 7 month old, and myself (thankfully I remembered to fully lock the door with both latches) They were yelling “You’re not authorized to be in here! What’s your name?! Who checked you in?!”We gave them the answers they wanted yet they still demanded that we come to the door I had the our baby on my chest so my wife walked to the door This was extremely unsettling for her since she was just woken up, but again, they demanded itLike I get it, mistakes happen We’re not upset about the discrepancy on their end that somehow didn’t show us in the room – we’re upset with how they woke us up and tried to intimidate usWe got everything settled and proved that we did indeed pay for the room and were given the keys to enter (how else are we getting into a room?)They never apologized for their behavior, only for the confusionManagement here doesn’t know how to properly handle conflict (even though we didn’t cause any conflict)Stay away if you have little ones or value privacy – they’ll try to open your door and yell at you

Dylan Dobbs

The front staff was great! Our issue was we found 2 plates of food in the microwave, eyelashes in a drawer by the bed while trying to find a tv guide Finding all that in our room made me feel awful because it’s gross also the outlets by the bed to plug stuff in worked only in 1 outlet and a adapter spot Breakfast the next morning was great

If it was cleaner I would’ve given a better rating

We had an absolutely fabulous time at this hotel The staff is incredible We felt so taken care of, the rooftop bar is amazing, the cocktails are hand crafted and delicious, and the bartenders are amazing! Allen was our bartender on our last night and he was fantastic, truly felt like we were having drinks with a friend when he was serving us

Also the hotel is extremely dog friendly, our small dog enjoyed the stay just as much as us! If you’re looking for a 5 star experience this is definitely the place to go Also within walking distance of all the downtown restaurants and bars

KATIE WOLF

Beautiful hotel with wonderful rooms and an amazing staff doing all they could to ensure our convention was a success The building has been beautifully renovated with gorgeous lounges and rooftop bar The Whiskey and Bourbon selection is the best I have seen at any hotel and the bartenders are all highly knowledgeable

Our room had a very cool art deco theme complete with a vintage vinyl record collection and a nice record player The in room fridge, safe, and coffee items were a wonderful added bonus The bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing The water pressure was great! Each area of the hotel clearly had so much thought put into every decoration that it was almost as though a museum curator had come in to help The lobby of the building with the fitness center is incredible and a must see Highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be back in the future Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful and stress free weekend

Trey Whitaker

This is a beautiful hotel with unique design elements We really appreciated the record player and albums We appreciated there ability to accommodate our dog

You should be aware that this hotel is the center of a very active social district with lots of restaurants and clubs The boisterous crowds and revving motorcycles were active until past 2 AM Next time we’ll plan accordingly and join the revelers

Friendly evening check in and they were very nice the next morning when we asked for room service Breakfast was tasty and I enjoyed having pancakes The room was OK

The bathrooms had a horrible smell when we first arrived into the next day I couldn’t ever figure out what it was coming from, eventually it faded some The shower had wonderful hot water pressure There was mold behind the toilet When we asked for room service they took the trash and only replaced one bathrooms towels They did not replace the trash liners, toiletries, or make up the beds All in all the size of the room was fantastic, the fridge was really cold, microwave worked nice and the cleanliness was decent

Shane Rowling

First time staying here We were welcomed by 2 friendly employees We were upgraded to a 2 room suite which was unavailable when we initially reserved our room so this was much appreciated

The complementary breakfast was above average for this price point and the standout was the employee working the breakfast area The people are what made this hotel enjoyableThe biggest negative for me was that only the entrances leading to the front desk were open The exterior doors at each end of the hotel where we found it easiest to park a large vehicle were designated as emergency exit only Loading/unloading was more difficult due to this

Debbie Ciceri

Smelled so clean when walked in lobby Room was large enough and clean Staff exceptional

Cassie and young lady who checked us in very sweet Large selection for breakfast, very good Not usual carb overload Lady walking the grounds picking up trash and cleaning patio and workout room like it was her own Recommend this hotel Price was reasonable

These motels have a charm to themselves compared to the corporate hotelsThis is another Route 66 motels from days hone byEasy to get to

Helpful friendly staff Comfortable big roomsUsual amenities in the rooms Coffee maker, fridge, microwave, TV EctReasonably pricedPlease note there is a lot of noise from the traffic on the main road but it does settle down later through the night

Servant of the King

Honestly I was so surprised to enjoy this place as much as I did The bed was by far the most comfortable I have ever slept on! It was a smaller room than expected, but enough for my need I really liked the bathroom, the tub was bigger than most (taller and wider) and the little shelf above the sink was needed! First place to have enough hot water to last

The microwave and fridge are in the “closet” space, so it worked

Amanda Berry

We stayed in the family suite The room was large, and the kids enjoyed their own room and TV There was plenty of room so we didn’t feel like we were crammed together

The kids loved it more than staying at the more costly placesThe room was clean except I did find a rogue green grape hiding next to the bed 😆 Other than the feral fruit, the space was very clean Not even dust behind the doorsKeep in mind this place is a older placeThe wifi was fast, the television was a flat screen with direct TVThe beds are a bit stiff but the pillows were super soft Surprisingly quite in the rooms considering where it’s locatedWe were never bothered by the trafficThe breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at any stayThe menu is biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, there was waffles you could make yourself, cereal, yogurt, fruit, toast and jelly, juice, they have coffee, and even a coffee machine that has multiple choices of cappuccino, mocha, and many moreWe didn’t get to check out the pool areaI would absolutely recommend this place! You can not beat the price for what you receive Between the history, the rooms, the staff, and the breakfast you can’t find a better place

We visited from the evening of the 9th until the morning of the 10th It was a clean room definitely smelled alcohol when we entered the hallway The room never cooled down

The toilet overflowed and maintenance was very quick about coming and fixing it Breakfast was amazing and I loved the fact that you could make your own waffles No towels down at the pool, the hot tub wasn’t working and we quickly got out of the pool when we realized that someone had written wash me on the 3 foot tile and dirt was filling that in Over all bed was comfy, service was amazing but some basic upkeep definitely needs to be addressed

The 2nd room we were given had blood and other stains on the hide a bed mattress My daughter literally gagged I guess that’s better then the 1st room

It had a fully grown NAKED man Yes , they have us a room and key for that room, after already giving it to a customer Fortunately I am a married woman and my young daughter was not standing in an opportune viewing location, like I wasThe pro’s the towels were very large and fluffy in our 3rd room!

Awesome place! My wife and I were travel back home and decided to stop off and stay at this location We were very happy with this place The staff was incredible; very knowledgeable, kind and helpful

The room was impressively clean and very large The quality of these rooms are top notch The location isn’t the best, kind of tucked back away from everything, but it was nice that it wasn’t right on the road I would recommend this place to everyone looking to stay in the Springfield, Missouri for a short and/or long stay Awesome property!

I stayed here for a month because of work The room was very spacious and nice I enjoyed having a separate space to sit and relax, a space to work, and then the bed area

I only asked for full room service once a week I don’t really like people coming in and out too often My only complaint of the entire place was that when I asked for clean sheets I didn’t always get them Other than that, I had a good experience! The man who runs the breakfast in the morning is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met He was so friendly and helpful! He always offered to wrap my breakfast sandwich up for me because he knew I was always on a tight schedule He is definitely the shining star of this place!

The room was fantastic and a great value It had unique features that would make an extended stay comfortable The only thing I didn’t like about the room was that the bathroom door didn’t latch or lock

I am only giving 3 stars because the swimming pool was small, crowded and had very cloudy water It was so cloudy you couldn’t see your hand 2 feet in front of you while under the water We thought it felt gross and didn’t stay in long

My first stay had a leak over the sink This stay the room smells like a wet dog, and shower handles are rusty Shower valve is broken

Wifi doesn’t work as it should; very slow and unable to get a connection The hotel needs an overhaul, good cleaning, and an overall update I will definitely look at other options for my next stay but may come back given the close proximity to the airport
