The stay at the establishment was incredible Aside from the ample parking, the view from our room was breathtaking We were also able to have family visit and enjoy the beach with us

The rooms are spacious, and with the beach, right outside of the balcony, there was no need for my noise machine I was able to sleep with the sound of the waves Great staff and swift service Thanks again!

Roger White

On the short walk to the beach we encountered a bunny rabbit nibbling on grass and a large box turtle Neither cared that we were so close by We sat on the beach watching the pelicans dive on the school of fish just offshore

I caught a few of my own fish from the beach It was a thrill to see a sea turtle nest nearby We woke at the Blue View Inn after a great night of sleep on the memory foam mattresses The soft blue walls and contemporary furniture are ever so welcoming The kitchen had everything we needed to throw a small party for my mother’s big birthday The Townhouse 5 deck offers a partial view of the bright blue ocean and the pool below Sadly I cannot give it 5 stars because the large group staying in townhouse 3 partied two nights in a row playing loud music outside and smoking until late Many signs claim this is a non-smoking property One of the Inn’s caretakers joined the party but did not stop them from breaking the rules

Gimper IV LLC

Our family was in town for a very somber occasion but our accommodations were exceptional We occupied 4 full units and it was perfect for congregating our family The kindness of our hosts went beyond our wildest expectations

As someone who travels for a living I can easily say that the Blue View is in a class of it’s own Give them a try and you’ll see!

It is hard to describe the gem of a location! It is a 55+ location so if you have children, don’t look here I almost hate to reveal so it doesn’t get impossible to book My brother and I are traveling all around Florida and this is by far the best RV Resort we’ve been to

Situated along with the Intercoastal this resort has beautiful sites that are well outfitted with lounge chairs with cushions, a coffee table, picnic table, and a grillA few, are right on the water but honestly, it doesn’t matter There is a lounge/dock right over the water with comfortable furniture for lounging, eating, or playing games while watching the sun rise, set, birds and fish The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating

stephanie crippen

This park is not only breathtakingly beautiful, it is clean and wonderfully maintainedThe manager, CiCi, and her staff are incredible She is kind, funny and always available to help make your stay more enjoyable

This park is a nod to old Florida with great vibes and great views A park as lovely as this with such incredible management is a rare find My husband and I feel incredibly lucky to be here If you come, come with a great attitude and a kind heart, because that’s the kind of people you will find here

Lovely hotel by the beach Careful getting in the water – thereā€™s a coral shelf about 2-3 meters out on which I bruised my shinPros:LocationBeds and bedding were comfortableLots of nearby locally owned shops and diningThere was live music on Friday by the pool area toward the beachQuiet – there was a softball tournament when we visited, so it was packed, but we heard nothing when in our roomCons:The toilets are weirdly difficult to flush and take several flushes to completely vacateThe water pressure is abysmalWe discovered a big bug in our room the day we checked out, but their response was very professional

They immediately sent a request to spray the rooms and told the housekeepers We did not hold this against them Florida is mini Australia when it comes to bugsOverall, we liked it We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of the live music while watching the waves We played on boogie boards They have people who offer lessons, and you can rent an umbrella and chairs for the beach if you want One star docked for the toilet issue (completely unnecessary and strange) and the water pressureThe picture is the view from just outside our room

The Crown Plaza was by far the best Hotel we have stayed at on the Space Coast From the check-in to the house keeping staff, everyone was more than happy to assist with the wants and needs of our family The room, double queen beds, was exceptionally clean, well stocked with towels and extra pillows, toiletries, and coffee

The only things our room was lacking were a microwave and personal safe We were more than pleased with this location and highly recommend everyone stay there and enjoy it all

Jeri-Lee V Real Estate

This place is amazing! I normally just stay at a hotel when weā€™re in town for family but this time tried Crane Creek Inn and so glad I did! Just a place to stay became an actual vacation thanks to the attention to details and warm hospitality – the house is cozy and inviting and the grounds allow for both relaxation and fun activity Will be staying here from now on Thank you Mark for a great stay!

Kathryn Barcikowski

Our stay at Crane Creek Inn was wonderful The Inn is clean, cozy and the view on the creek is relaxing and peaceful We stayed in the Melbourne Room, which is the best room to stay in – it has its own private porch that overlooks the creek

My husband and I spent most of our time outside on the porch taking in the view or sitting by the pool The Inn is literally around the corner from downtown Melbourne, which was great when we ventured out for dinner I didn’t give it 5 stars because of the train nearby I went by quite frequently at nighttime and kept us awake We didn’t let it deter us from having a great time and enjoying our stay though

Ramona Gray

I am so sorry it has taken so long to get this review posted

sometimes life just happens! I won’t lie, my husband and I were a little concerned when we found out that our favorite place in Melbourne had new owners There was absolutely NO need to worry Mark and Meghan are amazing! They have already made some great improvements and we look forward to staying here many times in the future This property is so relaxing – plenty of great restaurants nearby in easy walking distance Just sitting by Crane Creek is amazing! This place is a treatenjoy it! We do!

Loved staying here The owners are great, very friendly and accommodating We felt as if we were at home

The entire week we were there The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed to stay for the week Being able to have such great access to the beach was so enjoyable We even made some interesting friends while we were there We can’t wait to reserve our week stay for next year

This is my second time staying and my SO’s first time I will say, that after a 4+ hour flight delay then car rental nightmares getting to Florida from Minnesota, it was nice to have the owner/management keep in touch after having alerted her we would arrive later than originally noted She called us at midnight as we were getting an airport shuttle ride to last minute changed car rental in Orlando and she said she would leave our door unlocked and key inside our room (#2) so we could go straight to our room when we arrived

After all the travel chaos, it was great to just get here and make a pizza and crash for the night! We had to get up and work very early and then did our actual check in after our work dayIt is very clean and well taken care of Yes it looks outdated, but it isn’t “old”, I actually prefer this to our Double Tree sweet right down A1A from here that we had while here for work 2 years ago ( right as everything was going into lockdown from Covid in March 2020)I stayed here later that year in August 2020, that stay was slightly uncomfortable, only because I was here for work and rather than traveling with my SO, his nephew met me here from NC to do the job, and or AirBNB fell through so my SO booked this while I was in flight, sight unseen Unfortunately being an efficiency apartment type set up, where the bathroom is only accessible from the bedroom, it was awkward for us ( I had only met the nephew a few times) this issue of course is not really a fault of the property! The rooms are definitely more suitable for single, couples or family :-)I definitely will stay here again, as my 11 yr old is still wishing she was able to join on this trip she has never seen this side of Florida, and being this close to the water would be a dream come true for her!

getawayReview of Seashell Suites ResortReviewed 2 days ago via mobileWe have stayed in this area before for longer periods of time, renting properties However, we were lucky enough to be able to book a last-minute little getaway to this resort

It is very clean, very well decorated, very well-maintained The beach is extremely private They keep goodies and coffee for the guests to grab for some extra snacks The pool area is really nice, and there is a nice little tiki hut with stools that overlooks the beach for those who donā€™t want to get too sandyThe people who run it seem very accommodating and helpful My only little negative was that 1/2 of one of one of the mattresses was very soft, while the other half of one of the beds was nice and firmOne comment , and this is just coming from a fellow business person I saw that there were many pictures of donald trump in the office, almost a shrine I personally like to keep politics out of business In my business i want everybody to feel welcomed and not have to think about politics But that is just meOther than that, a lovely relaxing time

At the end of a month-long stay at SSR, we did something we rarely do: booked the same month for the following year It wasn’t that tough a decision1

Located on a stretch of secluded beach, the resort has a wonderful “Old Florida” vibe The two bedroom, one bath apartments are “beachy”: tile floors, comfy furniture, good beds, well-equipped kitchens Website photos are spot-on!2 Led by owner Wendel, the staff–Flor, Lillian, and Carol–meticulously maintain the property The paint’s fresh and colorful, landscaping is impeccable, everything’s clean, and every issue is addressed immediately When we had a small glitch with our air conditioner, a repairman remedied it as soon as Wendel learned about it3 There’s a real sense of community among the guests Because of its small size, there’s an intimacy that we seldom encounter in larger resorts Our dog Mo made friends with everyone, including other four-legged visitors4 Guests are welcome to no-charge commercial grade washers and dryers, fridges and freezers full of snacks and beverages, a barbecue area with four gas grills and tables, and plenty of beach-side seating We even caught a couple of SpaceX launches from the beach5 Outdoor activities: I’m a cyclist and the stretch of A1A that SSR sits on is perfect for flat-land riding Sebastian Inlet State Park and Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge, the nation’s first, are close by I’m not a fisherman, but other guests did plenty of fishing from the beach6 As city dwellers, we don’t spend much time driving That said, there are plenty of excellent restaurants within a half-hour of SSR One of our favorites: El Ambia Cubano in Melbourne

I was looking for a place to stay with a small kitchenette and a spacious room as my local home is under construction Hotel needed to be close enough for me to go back-and-forth between the home and hotel and pet friendly Extended stay offered everything I needed at a great price

A few days before my stay I change my reservation to a two bed from king as my son was going to be joining me the second week of my 2 week stay When I got to extended-stay to check in, I was informed that the double rooms had been overbooked Cassie was more than apologetic and offered every sleeping accommodation she could Because I only needed the double room the last week, Katrina and Cassie made sure that I will have that room before my son gets here Both have been friendly, helpful and personable These two ladies never missed a beat even while 4 groups of newcomers showed up in the lobby to check in In the last five days Iā€™ve been here, even if there is a group of people waiting for some thing at the front desk, Cassie made sure to address each person that approaches and lets them know she will be with them as soon as possible Amazing service! The hotel is new so rooms are very clean Housekeeping is super friendly and has been around if I needed anything I have not been down for breakfast as I cook in my room Common areas are very clean and there is a designated outdoor dog area with poop bags/container Highly recommend Extended Stay!!!

I stayed at this hotel, for a little over a month, while I searched for a long-term rental home I checked in on a Sunday I paid for the following week (7 nights), in advance, and thereafter on each Sunday for an additional 7 nights

On the weekend of March 25th ā€“ 27th, I was flying home I went to the front desk on Friday March 25th to pay for an additional week (7 more nights) since my flight would not arrive until Sunday around midnight I questioned the fact that my weekly rate (for 7 nights) was higher than the previous weeks I was told that the rate was changing on April 1st because it was ā€œthe seasonā€ Since I was checking out on Sunday April 3rd, I would only need to pay the new rate for 2 nights I paid the amount quoted That payment was required to keep the room until April 3rd After I left the hotel on April 3rd, my debit card was charged an additional $3360 I went back to the hotel to question the manager about this charge I was told that I still owed this amount I tried to explain to the moron that I had paid the quoted rate, for those nights, in advance I agreed on a rate for those additional 7 nights which would take me through April 3rd After I had stayed there through April 3rd, they charged me more money for the room than what was agreed upon when I paid for the room She does not understand that, legally, this constitutes FRAUD

Scenic getaway on a beautifully maintained property with a private beach Our cottage was was perfect and everyone we spoke to was very friendly! The level of care and attention to detail was clear throughout our stay We arrived to a handwritten letter, fresh fruit, and local coffee on the counter and water and juice in the fridge

Great beach area along the river to relax and a great covered deck area right next to that for Oyster Bay guests onlySeveral great local bars and restaurants within a few blocks

Joe

Never in my life have I ever seen such a rude staff Their boat dock is under repair, so we brought our own boat We called ahead and they said there was plenty of parking

When we got there from 10 hours away, a girl named Pam told us not only could we not park there, but we couldnā€™t even take 5 minutes to rinse the salt water off our boat, which will cause serious corrosion and the paint to peel When I asked her where I could rinse my boat off, she told us, quote, ā€œIā€™m the general manager and I have important things to do and do not have time to help you, plus I donā€™t careā€ Can you believe this??????? Stay away until she is fired and someone who has customer service is brought in We are owners of the time share for crying out loud, not tenants in an apartment building!

Joe z

So i have been coming here for 30 yrs My father and step father both have worked here My step dad worked the boat dock back in the early 90s when it use to exist on the other side of captain Hirams

This hotel has housed my whole family over the years, from my sister when she came back from basic training to myself when i returned home from Afghanistan and it has not disappointed me on this trip at all I hope the owners know that they have customers that have literally grown up using this hotel and have families continue to use it because of the respect they treated their staff with I learned to swim in this hotels pool and now im teaching my daughter to do the same 30 years later!

I had the pleasure of staying here and introducing Mom to the Atlantic Ocean for the first time It was a great place to stay – clean, spacious and all the amenities were thought of They were always available to us, through text, if we needed anything

We loved chatting with the others staying there and the direct access to the beach Plus, the river and beach can both be seen from this little part of the island Would recommend Sea View to anyone!

I don’t know why this property is rated two star Our experience was way beyond that ranking The property is very clean with a lobby that makes a good first impression

The staff are still seemingly following strict cleaning protocols Our room was also very clean with “interesting” square bed pillows They were comfy and we both has great night’s sleep The hotel’s breakfast is goodstandard hot bar fare Not wild about their brand of coffee machine Stuff like that is just me being picky I would stay at this property again

Rooms were nice and clean Staff was ok, friendly and helpful Could smile a bit more though

Breakfast was very light Bacon was paper thin and small Ice maker on our floor broken Second elevator broken Had Roku tv in room with no instructions and front desk did not know how to operate I figured out myself The property was nice just needs a bit more attention from management Would i stay there again, yes, but concerned property may not be maintained for my next stay

We absolutely loved Tuckaway Shores! Because all of the rooms are privately owned, they’re all different, but I can definitely recommend room 200 It was very clean and up-to-date, with a full kitchen and 2 bedrooms, it was perfect for our family of 4 And the fact that the balcony only has a partial ocean view was actually a plus

We could enjoy our morning coffee without the full sun and stong winds hitting us directly The direct beach access was really great They also provided beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels – very convenient We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Iā€™ve stayed in plenty of beachfront properties in Florida and none of them compare to this The area is very laid back and not overrun with tourists Staff was friendly, everything was clean and the room was absolutely perfect for our family of 4

The only possible downside is there really isnā€™t anything around within walking distance It wasnā€™t a problem for us since the resort sits between 2 strips with plenty of food, shopping and public beaches about 1 mile in either directionPictures donā€™t do it justice, it truly is a hidden gem ā™„ļø

We have been doing a very large family reunion at the hotel every two years since 2015 I canā€™t say enough good things about Tuckaway Shores The hotel is right on the beach and the suites have everything you need

On top of the great location, the owners couldnā€™t be more accommodating or easy to work with If you are looking for a vacation spot right on the beach, this is the place!

This place is amazing! The views (even with the partial view), staff, price, and cleanliness made this one of the best experiences weā€™ve ever had in Florida Location is perfect for seeing a lot of really cool wildlife – we saw sea turtles and dolphins daily Thank you Mark and Stephanie for running this place seamlessly! Will definitely be staying again
