Other than location this hotel sucks The rooms are gross The walls haven’t been painted in decades

There are dirt all over them The floors were beyond gross We had to clean our feet before we went to bed Both my daughters feet looked like they had walked on ashes We complained They sent a maid Pretty sure she mopped the floor with dirty water because they were still grossYa they have WiFi, buts it’s the cheapest window of all time Couldn’t connect in my own roomI do not recommend this place

Kimberly Wells

For the price, I expected a clean room, a MUCH more comfortable bed, a shower that had pressure, and a working pool light and fountain This place being fenced was nice, and the 2 block walk to the beach was convenient However, when the bed is horrendous, AND I found a used dirty towel under the bed, as well as a dead dried up black bug on the sheet, as well as only having a single clean towel and no wash cloth I was disappointed

Perhaps the owners should spend more on maintenance and less in large TVs that are viewed only from an uncomfortable bed Extra towels would have been nice as well

We stayed here for a week and we enjoyed it The pool is nice, the hotel and spot it’s in is a little walk from restaurants and beach which is nice because it’s not to loud or crazy when you are relaxing in your room The kitchen was nice and it came stocked with dishes

The only complaint I have is they canceled our reservation due to an issue with my card but never told us We travel all the way from NYC and were exhausted, they were unable to give us the room we originally booked but did give us a small refund and gave us a different room I would have liked to have better communication with my reservation Other than that the staff was great and very accommodating, I will most likely stay here again

Koda Rose

Upon arrival it was a bit confusing to find the main entrance or lobby Check in was quick and simple I would suggest that the guest be given info on where the ice machine and laundry are located

The room size was perfect and allowed separation of adult and child spaces I had 2 teens and it would have made for miserable vacation if we had stayed in a regular hotel room The pool and outdoor area are nice, but we did have to ask for the pool to be cleaned though due to debris and lots of sand in the pool With a few updates and someone to attend to the pool area daily (vacuum, blow the sand off the cushions and clean up a little) they could have an amazing outdoor space Overall our stay was good and we would definitely stay here again If you decide to stay at Coconut Cove you MUST eat at the Italian restaurant next door!!

Korea Scott

Reasonably priced Room was nice and clean Fully equipped kitchen

Great location Only 6 minute walk to beach, restaurants and entertainment Locate trolly was right outside the front door WiFi was very slow and there are no elevators as I had my elderly parents with me and we had to walk 4 flights of stairs at a time Staff was kind Only complaint was construction of a nearby hotel blocked view Will definitely come back again

My wife and I had a great stay at Beso Del Sol! We had a great view of the water and watched some amazing sunsets Our room was clean and well furnished making it very comfortable Everyone was very friendly and helpful plus The Marker 8 had great food and drinks! Mia, who checked us in was fantastic

She made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable plus threw in a few great tips for local eats

Bekah

Water front was beautiful Staff was friendly But they lied about what room we booked

Found out from one of the staff that they the people in charge do it all the time So fair warning if you book a room that supposed to have a view, separate living area from the bed room they’re lying to you It’s a studio room Other than that they stay was nice

Jake at the front desk is a great asset to your organization My wife and I checked in at about 6:00 pm on a Thursday with at least three other guests ahead of us on line and at least 2 phone lines ringing Jake handled everything and everyone professionally and courteously

The room was fine although the shade on the door to the balcony needs repair

Robert Cosme – Blood Hound

Kay the manager of the Candlewood Suites has been phenomenal! Excellent customer service and superb hospitality excellence is the bare minimum to describe my experience Thank you Kay, for your hospitality Professional and friendly

I give this hotel 5 stars for the staff alone The rooms are clean and modern I highly recommend this place

Robh693 H

Nice, clean hotel Up to date amenities, very large room with kitchenette Hotel is in a beautiful neighborhood and there are 2 very good restaurants in the same plaza

The only thing we didn’t care for was the very soft bed which left us both with sore lower backs, you actually have to struggle to get out of the bed There is no breakfast offered but there is a very good diner in the same plaza

East Shore resort is the perfect vacation spot in Clearwater Beach, this property is a rare find the owners and staff are top notch, they could not be any more accommodating The property in so well-manicured every day it is in pristine condition The rooms are so clean, I have never stayed in such perfect conditions

We stayed 2 weeks this year and have booked for a month next year, we cannot wait to return Thank you so much to Billy, Terri and Susan for making our stay so comfortableNancy & Tom McDonald, New Hampshire

Jennifer White

This was our first stay at East Shore Resort, and it will not be our last Our studio was super clean and well equipped The “unexpected FREE extras” and friendly staff really set this resort apart from any other

From the free bikes, up to date laundry facilities, fishing supplies and bait, bottles of sunscreen that were sat around the pool and picnic tables to the free beach gear including coolers, chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, beach towels and moreWe were IMPRESSED! You could ALMOST pack your swimsuit and nothing more! There are only 11 units at this resort which makes it even more quaint, but more likely to be booked So, don’t hesitate book your stay NOW!

Mitchell Faulkner

Smaller locations like this can certainly be hit or miss, but man was this place a homerun! I will never stay anywhere else when visiting Clearwater Beach; our trips will be based around availability here at East Shore From the moment we arrived, Susan was an absolute delight The room was likely the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in and felt like I was right at home

The location is excellent and the amenities offered were more than we expected(fishing supplies, bicycles, refreshments) I cannot recommend this place enough!

Great little motel on the beach Two minutes away from the ocean Rooms are not too big, but clean and cozy

Staff is nice and friendly Free coffee in the morning (they knew i wanted decaf, and were making one every morning specifically for me, which was nice) They also have a clean and heated pool, and a roof where you can get some tan and a view Definitely a good place to stay👍

nancy stella

This was the nicest hotel I’ve stayed at in Clearwater Beach It was so clean The staff was accommodating and very friendly

They have free WiFi It’s just steps away from the beautiful Clearwater beach There are really nice restaurants right in the parking lot Parking and towels were free and the rental beach chairs were the cheapest around They have a really nice sunset balcony and a clean pool There are 3 floors but no elevator but you just take your suitcase up once and done I couldn’t have stayed in a better place

Jerry Thomas

5 stars all the way! We had a second floor room and had a spectacular view of the gulf The service was exceptional from the front desk clerks to the housekeeping staff even the parking lot attendant Perfectly located just past the crowded and loud shop/restaurant district

The beach is literally steps from the hotel and the on site restaurant is directly on the beach You can’t beat the sunset views But I think the best thing was the live music stopped exactly at 9:30pm each night so you can enjoy a quiet evening Will definitely return!!

Unit A-4 looks beautifully remodeled from the pictures on the website However, upon further inspection, the new floors are peel and stick over the original tile, and the kitchenette backsplash is peel and stick as well The bathroom has old, dingy tile with mold on the shower curtain

Upon arrival at 3pm, we checked in with the office lady with blonde hair who made it clear she was just covering while the owner was away for the weekend She collected our payment and took us to our unit She pointed and told us that our unit was upstairs There clearly was a cleaning basket located at the top of the stairs which made us wonder if the room would be ready, but she disregarded that and walked away We walked up the stairs and went inside the door only to hear music blasting as the cleaning crew was still there So we were left there staring at them, hold our suitcases and bags, while they finishedIt wasn’t until day 2, when it was pouring rain outside, that we realized we were never given the wi-fi info We called the hotel’s main number around 5pm which said to call the number on the office door for after hour help I went outside in the pouring rain to get the phone number, called and left a message asking for a return phone call since we also could not get the tv to work I never received a phone call The next day, I went to the office and asked for the wifi password The same lady that checked us in said, “don’t you have one of the information sheets in your room?” I told her that we were never given that Would have been nice to have that initiallyThe place was dirty, the bathroom is tiny, and the bathroom sink needed draino The shower constantly smelled like sewer when the water was onThe pool was nice, and the location was great That’s about it

Stayed at the Coral Resort for 3 years at different units and enjoyed each stay The units are owned independently but managed by Coral Resort Location to the downtown area of Clearwater Beach and the beach access is perfect

Once you park at the Coral Resort, you do not need to use your car, everything you need is within walking distance The beach is 2 blocks from the resort and the downtown area which stretches for quite a distance is walkable, if you don’t mind walkingThe heated pool is a great feature especially after a hot day at the beach So nice to enjoy a dip in the pool to rise off the ocean feel Management is always around to assist with questions and to offer suggestions for things to do in the area and any other questions you might have The grounds are kept neat and clean, a pleasure to stay there There are free washers and dryers to use if staying on siteThe 3 units I have stayed in have been fine, just old and needing some upkeep

Glen Barcus

This is hands down the cutest place I’ve ever stayed! The studio condo we stayed in I’d probably rate a 2 or a 3, but they are all independently owned and ran by a part time on site manager The pool was clean The premises was clean and well maintained

The other guests are amazing and genuine On the first night a gentleman was sitting out in the courtyard, he pleasantly welcomed me and told me I’d love it and I’d be back I am a believer If you haven’t been to Clearwater, do it! So fun and touristy but at the same time laid back There are several of these little 1950’s properties nestled into the big resorts all over the area It’s a perfect location and walking distance to everything you could need Oh man, I almost forgot to mention it’s 2 blocks to amazing white sandy beaches!

Great resort for a family with kids although the rooms are a little on the older side All the people are very friendly and professional You’ve got tennis, golf, and several small pools with an overall relaxing environment

There’s a driving range next to the main clubhouse by the South course We played South, Island and Copperhead courses – and the club services team moves your equipment around to each course ahead of time Super efficient!

Ursula Cunningham

This place was spectacular!!! I didn’t get to enjoy the 6 pools, nor golfing but we will be going back in October The room was very nice, it was like home away from home We had a kitchen, living area, nice room and the bathroom was very nice as well

Going back to the kitchen, it had all the appliances and dishware needed to cook I thank God for my husband, for picking out a wonderful place for the second part of our vacation! ❤️❤️❤️

D.R. O’Hara

I loved the condo I stayed in Great WI-FI, beautiful property As an Airbnb renter, I feel like there is no respect shown to visitors who spend thousands over their stay

I felt like a prisoner in my very expensive rental Innisbrook would benefit from issuing a pool pass for guests, especially those who spend over $100 at a restaurant built right next to the pool Perhaps a lower membership package, temporary, allows pool(s) or pool Honestly you are accosted if you go in the pool as a renter and are forced to exit It is scary I spent 8 days inside taking occasional walks and ordering in I came to watch golf and go in the pool, considering there are several Are no pools for guests? ugh Sorry I feel like I wasted money that could have been avoided had management addressed the concerns of several guests who posted prior I am not spending thousands of dollars to take a dip It is ludicrous

I could write a full paper on how much I adore this quaint place we (family of 7) called home for 4 day We stayed in the bigger suit room 105 and it had 2 bedrooms: one with 2 queen beds and the other room had a king sized bed There are 2 couch sleepers down stairs, which this place could easily accommodate 10 people

There are 3 porches One one the water, one balcony upstairs overlooking the water and lower porch, and a front porch that has a view if the pool, of you have little that need to be watched We can via train and didn’t bring beach items like chairs, umbrellas, ect They have a selection of chairs, umbrellas, wagons, toys, at a first come first served basis and best of all, it’s free Terrie (I believe her name was) is a doll She took suck good care of us Our train didn’t leave until 5:20pm, check out was 10am She let us use the pool hang out until we left for the train The best part of this gem is the Jolley trolly stop is right in front of the place You pay $5 a day and it makes stops allllll over Clearwater and will take you practically every where, aquarium pier 60 and all You can avoid the crowds but still get to the “main strip” with into a 10 min walk (it’s quite the stroll to do wvery day with 4 kids under 10) or hop on trolley ride Kids 8 and under are free to ride!!! Sonwe paid $20 to ride infinitely all day So worth the investment The convenience of the trolly and being away from the crowds makes this hidden gem a perfect vacation spot for families especially those with kids I highly recommend this place and i am kind of relictant to leave a review because I selfishly want it to remain hidden The home like feel draws you in It is very clean and they have all the amenities you need with a full kitchen, laundry, and 3 bathroomsyou read that right, THREE FULL BATHROOMS! My kids and mother in law could all take showers at one time and there was no waiting for eachother to get out We were able to wash our clothes before leaving and that was nice not to have to worry about laundry when we got home Over all the place exceedes my expectation I rarely leave reviews and this place deserved every second of my time taken to write this

jill piecha

This property is a vacation rental That being said if you’ve never used a vacation rental before know that you are started with the basic paper towels, toilet paper but then you need to go shopping! I recommend insta cart as you may not even have a bottle of water in hand and we chose Publix as they were quick delivery, and good selection online The staff here is very helpful with everything from checking in, shopping, site seeing, things to do, etc

This property is ONLY a 3 block walk to the beautiful clearwater beach ! ENJOY

Overall our favorite part was the courtyard and pool It was very beautiful! The check-in employee was politeMy issues:When we showed up early from the flight at 11:30 we were told we had to wait until 3:30 to check in or we were going to be charged

I’ve never been charged for early check in at other hotels- they always accommodateWe stayed 4 nights and only had one set of towels provided No one came to clean/touch up or take trash or replace towels or sheets or anything the whole week we were there I had to go ask for more towelsThe fridge was really loud when running to the point we turned it off so that we could sleepThe lock on the door did not work because the metal piece of the lock was damaged so we had to use other safety precautionsThe bathroom windows on main floor (which is where we stayed ) are sketchy because someone could have looked right in and saw everything There are no covers Oh and the shower- we had to run the water for about 10-15 min for it to be warm/hot*Not the hotels fault but they should have at least notify customers that there was major construction going on that was disturbing

Had a 2 night stay to do some scuba diving with Tanks-A-Lot

location was perfectless than 15 miles from the boat dock The room was clean and newly refurbished The property had a Caribbean paint theme and was very clean and family friendly An awesome Mexican restaurant was within a short walk No complaints Mike is an excellent host/property manager

Sara Issa

Loved my stay here!! Quiet area, clean rooms, very cute courtyard and a really nice outdoor pool! My friend and I also accidentally had locked out key in the room and we didn’t arrive back to our room until 2am and Mike (manager? owner?) was so sweet and helped us day and night! Highly recommend this place if you need a nice place to stay!

Wonderful location Bed super comfortable Electric locks took some getting used to

But would certainly stay here again When we asked for help they showed up within 20 minutes and we’re very helpful They were easy to reach if any issues happened The full-size fridge was extremely helpful since we were here as part of a wedding party 10/10

Marcia Green

The MarBay Suites is a small, quaint motel with a kitchenette in the room (full-size fridge and microwave) The owners are working hard on updating all units, and it shows The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the room was clean

We would stay there again! Be sure to check out the beautiful Philippe Park – just a short way down the road

Saiem Novak

The rooms are a great place to lay your head and the laundry is free for all guests However I was surprised to see tiny and medium sized roached and how laxed the owner was about them being in the room While there was negotiations of a refund and an offer of a free room to change our review

The offer was taken when asked to use it The owner is friendly and nice, but don’t expect anything to be done in the right way Other than that I’ll be alright with returning if needed to stay with my own spray to combat the bugs Thank you Mar Bay for the awesome room, it was beautiful and relaxing enough as it is

Great hotel, great location, great water side view, great service! Angie (at the front desk) was amazing! She was very nice and took care of us very well She has a pleasant personality and was ready and willing to help us! The room (a water side suite) was great, but it felt a little damp The carpet always felt like it was damp

Maybe it’s the location Overall it was a great experience there and would return especially to see the sunset in the deck We missed it due to the clouds that hid it

The location of the resort was of course amazing it is clear water beach I have been coming here my whole life as a native to FloridaThe hotel itself was very misleading though From photos of the outdoor pool area to indoor photos of the hotel did not match the quality from the photos online

The hotel also shares a parking garage with another hotel which is very difficult to navigate due to front desk not explaining what to do once you parkSpeaking of front desk the lady who checked me in had no hospitality skills, Didn’t seem enthusiastic about her job and as a guest paying a lot of money to spend a night at your location and having expectations of a vacation with my family I can tell you that kind of attitude when checking in already sets the mood and the bar extremely low You are in the business of hospitality if you cannot enjoy hospitality then maybe you should look for a job elsewhere because your guests should never feel that they are an inconvenience to you when checking in Especially paying over $500 a night If you would like some hospitality training or seminars that is what I do for a living for multiple resorts across the country and I would love the opportunity to help enhance your team’s hospitality skills and energyMoving along Jimmy’s is exceptional, if you have not had the opportunity to have lunch or dinner there and watch the sunset I highly recommend you do so They even offer a sunset shot which is pretty nice considering it was complimentary The food was amazing the drinks were fairly priced and the sunset was spectacularI will say since the photos were misleading we actually spent more time at the other hotel pool that’s connected to the parking garage then we did the actual pool hotel for Holiday InnI did take a video and have some photos showing that the shower walls are just pieces of plastic glue to the wall and when I put my hand up on the wall to rest to shower my hand almost went through because the panels came undone There were also some minor cosmetic issues but nothing too serious If it wasn’t for the shower being in poor condition I would not have had a complaint about the room Overall I would say that for the price you pay And the hospitality service you receive do not match one another

We were here in 2010 as well as April 2022 for 10 days The view is great Nothing has been done to fix up the rooms since 2010

Curtains falling off in our room Not worth the price you are paying for it in the busier months Still not a safe in the room No evidence of improvements that we could see Very old outdated equipment in the gym Must be 20 years old at least Mattress in first bed was pretty sunken in Has been used a lot! The staff were fine The one that stood out was Everett who was in maintenance He helped us more than anyone One of the cleaning ladies on our floor was awesome too No offer of any type of reward for the hotel stay and we are members We always get something at other hotels we have a membership with

I was very pleased with my stay here The owners are very pleasant and generous for also letting us park our car for a small fee for the entire day, after we had already checked out It is walking distance from everything! great shops, restaurants, the Pier 60! the beach! the bay! dont expect that the hotel is fancy, it is humble but at a great price considering everything else

besides, who goes to the beach to stay inside a hotel room!! you just need a comfortable clean bed and you get that here I will be back for sure, especially if the prices stay the same!

Excellent stay!! We had 7 in our group, 5 in the apartment and 2 in a queen double The facility was small, family friendly, clean, well maintained, and had the best owners and management Stacey, Dave, and Greg – thank you for making our stay that much more wonderful with your kindness! There were things to do within walking distance, ample parking for the guests, a heated pool, and a laundry on site

We will be back We forgot to tip our maid and will be sending her a tip when we get home She is worth it Highly recommend Barefoot Bay Resort and Marina!

We had the absolute best family vacation staying here We stayed in the apartment and it was perfect for us The back door to our apartment opened right up to the dock so our boys woke up every morning and went fishing right off the dock

The pool was so warm and refreshing agter a day at the beach, which is only a 5 minute walk Great location and close to restaurants, shops, and entertainment Management super friendly and accommodating It’s not fancy or luxurious but again, perfect for a family summer getaway to the beach We have decided to make this our annual vacation place
