I’ve been planning on making reservations at this hotel I was in town and decided to drive by and just check it out Mr

Jackson greeted me (Front desk supervisor) He gave me brochures for the spa and hotel, and he gave me a full tour of the facility He was fantastic and professional He was thorough and told me all about the place He showed me the pool area, dining area, room types, and views He was very welcoming and knowledgeable That kind of service makes all the difference in the hotel you choose to spend your 3-day weekend I will definitely be staying here It exceeded my expectations of class and quality 💯

It seems that every time we eat at the Lodge and Club the computer generated check always overcharges us It happened again this past week The overcharge came out to be in the neighborhood of 15%

If it was an isolated experience I certainly wouldn’t be writing about it We brought it to the attention of the waiter who had his manager correct it If the check was hand calculated I probably wouldn’t have thought much about it But the computer is programed to put the cost of items onto the check I hate being taken advantage of! Secondly, two days ago I ordered a drink from the bar No big deal Vodka, triple sec and lime juice From the corner of my eye I saw the bartender pouring water into the drink Is this the definition of a watered down drink? I think so With an exploding population in the area, a wait list for membership, management is in my opinion really squeezing every dollar it can get Shameful! Will I eat at the Lodge again? Probably not Will I buy drinks at the Lodge? Probably not Why am I still a member? Simple! Not many other options to consider and the buy in is not transferable And then, if I really want to be picky the chairs at the trellis should have been replaced two years ago because they are saggy and worn out

The Oasis has THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE I have received better service at Walmart All of the employees completely ignored us

It was a free for all for seating No one told us to check in with the hostess cause they were all too busy not making eye contact with us I had to call the front desk to get the manager (the suit) who then refused to let us order We are spending $800 a night for a room And this is the service they have Will not be coming back here Please Plenty of other options to stay at on the beach

When we arrived at the hotel, we were met by a room that immediately showed the lack of care from cleaning staff The more we looked around, the worse it got There were stains on the carpet and furniture, hair in the shower, stains on the doors, a prior guest had stuck take on the vanity and it had not been removed, they had not filled the soaps in the shower, the phone and remote were STICKY and CRUSTY… the list goes on

Staying at this hotel was so uncomfortable because it was obvious that the staff had not cleaned certain areas and we could never be sure that other areas were cleaned either Front desk is only open until 11 and not 24/7 This didn’t pose a problem to us, but is good to know There was never any staff at the front desk without us having to wait for a while every time, even in the daytime The location is decent as it’s easy to reach major highways, but the entire area would smell like sewage at certain points, which would drift into the hotel We stayed for 4 nights Beds were comfortable

Madison Tacker

I did not stay, as I was unable to I made a reservation under my name as I was paying for the hotel, I am 18, an adult and while I am aware you cannot check in at 18, my brother was staying with my who is 21 We met the front desk lady and let her know that the reservation was not under his name but he was of age and she told me that she needed to confirm with her boss

The front desk woman then told us that we would not be able to check in because it was under my name and I am not twenty one, she then proceeded to call me a “minor” three times and said that I was a child I asked her if we were able to change the name and she told us yes She then removed our reservation and told us to book online The only booking available was over $30 more then the original price I was paying (for a lowend hotel) I was not going to pay $160 for one night when the original price was $129 Just very disappointing as you would assume changing the name on the reservation would fix the issue I didn’t have the chance to stay, but with the terrible service, she saved me a horrible stay

Mandy Murkerson

It was great until the morning of check out Went down to front desk at 9am asked for towels for kids swimming lady asked me room number and asked me was I aware of check out time I said yes maam I know

She only gave me 2 towels for 3 of us and toldme to return them to the desk Why would I give you dirty towels back and not just use hamper in room? It really came across as if she didn’t want me to use pool which was cloudy and full of bugs so close to check out and like I was gonna steal her towels The hotel is nice but the dirty pool and the rude staff is enough to ruin it

Great Staff, Uncomfortable Beds, Bugs In MuffinsFirst, let me say that the people here were really nice The hotel itself is in good condition and the rooms are large and well set up But the bed was absolutely terrible

We booked a 1 bedroom with a king and it was the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on After the first night, I called and told the front desk to ask for a mattress topper or to see what could be done and was told they didn’t have any but could give me a couple of extra blankets, which I had to go retrieve myself and which didn’t help but the lady was nice and apologetic about the bed They said they were also out of rooms other than one downgraded studio During breakfast, my daughter was about to open a muffin and noticed that inside the packaging there were bugs crawling around I saw several people come grab those muffins before my daughter and go up to their rooms, so hopefully, they noticed The staff was quick to remove them once I pointed this out and everything else on the line was clean In summary I’d say the staff were great as far as being friendly The bed was so bad though My neck and back were torn up after staying here for 4 nights on vacation I went back home from vacation feeling beat up because of it If something could have been done on the bed situation, the rating would be much higher, but when the bed prevents any rest and relaxation on vacation, it’s something I can’t just gloss over Now I have to try to recover from my vacation while going back to the grind

My husband and I stopped in Jacksonville on the way back from South Carolina with our newborn and this hotel was amazing from top to bottom! The staff are so friendly and accommodating from the front desk to housekeeping The hotel is clean, modern and located right off 95 We are loyal Marriott Bonvoy members because of properties like this one! We will definitely be back for our next road trip!

James Whaley

I spent a “staycation” here and the staff were excellent I had a small mixup happen and the cleaning staff for some reason thought I was checked out The cleaning staff threw away all the food in the fridge and bagged my clothes and other items

This would have easily dropped my rating to 1 star had the hotel not tried to reconcile They were going to refund the food, but I requested an additional day for free and they were able to oblige the request Even though the cleaning staff did not speak, or acted like they didn’t speak any english the front desk staff are very professional and considerateI would stay again and recommend BUT only if able to receive a discount somehow Being a military vet and receiving a reduced rate helped to make the choice to stay here easier I would not pay the exorbitant non-discounted rate for this hotel though It’s not an over the top amount, there’s just better places to stay at equivalent full retail price

Beautiful hotel! Room was spectacular! Incredibly clean and fresh! Front desk was amazing Bed, kitchen and bath

perfect! Just perfect!!! The only thing that didn’t get a 5 star was breakfast, but it might be because I arrived thirty minutes before they shut it downI would definitely recommend this stay!

Chihiro Tatsukawa

The room and facility were clean, the breakfast was basic and the staff were nice Laundry was free to use which is really niceEverything was good just one thing they missed our scheduled room cleaning twice

We had to request and rescheduled twiceThat’s the only sad point but all other experience there was great

Lorelei Burger

A sparkling clean godsend amid the downright scary Jacksonville hotel scene Marriott referred us to this location as it was the only one in the area with availability during a late night stop, and despite the late hour and other stressors the front desk attendant was nothing but courteous when we arrived to check in We were impressed with the full kitchen (with pots, pans, utensils, dish soap, sponges

the works), as well as the quality of the complimentary toiletries The area was perfectly silent and we had an excellent night of rest, followed by a delicious complimentary hot breakfast My husband especially enjoyed the egg white frittatas! All in all an excellent stay at a reasonable price, and we’d happily stop by again should our travels take us by here

I liked this hotel a lot I called to see if they would let me check in earlier because I had a conference call and they did The lady at the front desk is very nice

Rooms are clean and quiet Breakfast is not super extensive but great savory options The lady in charge of breakfast was also nice Location is great I will consider it for future trips to the area

Needed a few days away from home due to very bad neighbor behavior! This hotel was 4 miles away & was pet friendly Reserved room on Thursday for 3 nights (Friday – Monday) Check in was perfect Room was spacious & clean except housekeeping forgot to clean out fridge from prior guest

Front desk responded immediately to our call (thank you!) & had no other issues I will say I didn’t understand the shower since it did not have a shower curtain & glass door only covered half of the shower, since it was permanent in place & did not slide Water from shower ran onto the floor soaking the bath towel that was laid down which could be a slip & fall hazardWhile I know people hate smokers, they do exist Maybe a few more outside “ashtrays” would be beneficial to avoid a lot of butts on the ground Just sayingOverall, good stay Thank you

Ashley Romano

I had a Very good experience at this Marriott Location! The room was clean, and the staff was incredible! Especially the front desk associate Lemuel! He was both very Professional and welcoming! Which meant everything after a long day of travel! He really went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable! I highly recommend this location! Thanks Lemuel!

Clean rooms and comfortable beds The pricing wasn’t that bad either I would stay again

No weird smells in rooms or hallway The atmosphere of the hotel smells clean and you can thank the staff for it It smells very refreshing when you first walk in Hot breakfast in am with plenty to choose from Just for the cleanliness alone, I would stay again if I’m in the area

Michael Springer

My family and I checking on a Sunday afternoon The staff was friendly of course I know they were really busy because they Cruise was on a layover that night The staff was really really good for the exception of one lady at The breakfast bar

I realizing we wasn’t there for the cruise that we were there to do a job she kind of was nicer the next couple of days we were there But other than that it was really good really clean really well taken care of and maintained Would I stay there again probably yesa

Waneesha Graham

We stayed here for one night before our cruise Let me start by saying that the room smelled horrible when we first walked in, the carpet was dirty, and the room had a cigarette butt on the floor When we moved the covers back to check the sheets we saw a roach wrapped up in the blankets on one of the beds

(Seriously disgusting) The roach was half dead Then another roach met me at the bathroom door Needless to say I will NEVER return to this hotel The only decent part about the hotel is that the person at the desk was pleasant They changed our room after we found the roach in the bed The second room was much nicer and cleaner and did not have a smell We were given room 101 first Then when they changed our room, they gave us room 207Update: So I called the number from the person that responded to my review and a young lady answered the phone I informed her that I was calling in reference to a response from my review of this hotel I gave her the name of the person who made the reservation which was my husband (last name Batten) and the last names of our traveling companions With everyone included in our traveling group, there were five or six rooms booked at this hotel One of our friends had to go and ask for clean bedding because the sheets on their bed was dirty when they checked their beds So GM Jay Mehta why haven’t you contacted my husband to express your apologies for the disgusting situation we had to deal with?

The rooms were very clean, the employees were very nice and helpful but we stayed there 2 weeks and in the last weekend there were a bunch of teenagers running, yelling, slamming doors over and over and over again and playing basketball until almost 1 am I called the front desk around 11 pm and asked the gentleman that answered the phone to please go upstairs ro the third floor to hear all the yelling and basketball playing and put an end to it because my sister and I had to get up early to be at the hospital for training at 7 am Well we waited and waited for the man at the front desk to go upstairs or call them but he literally did nothing and the noise finally stopped a little past 1 am

So the next morning when we were leaving looking like zombies I stopped to tell the lady at the front desk and she already knew what I was going to say and she said “I did hear what happened, but don’t worry they’re all gone” So I said that if it happened again to move us to another floor because we were there to sleep But the rest of the time before that weekend everything was perfect

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a room This web site will compare countless hotel sites and usually will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This place is one of the highest rated in this area

I have been staying here for years If you stay for a few nights you definitely won’t regret itVery nice golf course Has two different courses to play The Lagoon and the Ocean Course Both are fun and challenging I would highly recommend to anyone staying at the resort, as well as locals who can get on with a member as it is private

Kay Rodriguez

I have been here before, but I certainly was not aware of how beautiful it truly was! Seeing the green for the first time right along the water and the Ponte Vedra homes was honestly breathtaking My friend and I were the only ones out there, and we had a small twilight picnic The view of the sunset was stunning as well as being on the very well kept green

This is a Jacksonville gem that I will be visiting much more often, and this is just one side of it!

Barbara Evans

The location is beautiful, the room was great but the service was off the charts good I was visiting for a conference and they knew in advance that I had a dairy sensitivity I felt like every person involved with my food knew that and took extra care

Special desserts just for me! Bellman, front desk, concierge, event planner all top notch, helpful, patient Highly recommend

About 20 minutes from St Augustine and 5 minutes from a grocery story, it’s a lovely resort! All the buildings are a short walk to the pool which stays fairly shallow and has a wading area that my 2 year old and I hung out in a lot! Each room is like a fully furnished apartment making packing lighter and easier! Each room has a washer and dryer! Loved it!I’ll be back!

Donnie Cannon

First time staying here Room was very spacious and clean I’ve read where many are calling Bluegreen a scam and I can tell you first hand t is not

Anyone calling it a scam simply doesn’t know how to use the program Trust me, there’s a ton of value with Bluegreen Vacations Ask for DJ Mike, he’s awesome! Thanks Mike!Awesome pool as well, If I had to give a con, it would be the lack of monitoring of the kids at the pool! Screaming, running, and splashing other guest As an owner, this was very annoying

My first and only issue was with a 3rd party that I used to book the reservation I requested two nights, got confirmation for two nights, but when I checked in I discovered that Hampton only had one night in their system The front desk, easily resolved the issue and I ended up with a better price

The accommodations and the customer service at this property were more than satisfactory The staff was very friendly, cheerful, and very professional The complimentary exceeded my expectations of motel fast food service My wife and I were surprised that the food was made with fresh ingredients of good quality, well prepared, and the presentation/serving was very professional The serving/dining areas were attractive and very clean The only regret that I have is that I had more than seconds helpings

Ethel Raymond

This hotel stay by far has been one of the best that I have experienced and I have been to plenty of hotels Trudy the manager was very informative when we spoke on what was needed for my event planner to be able to come and set up the room Tiffany at the front desk was so helpful and such a kind soul

She helped me book for another night with ease Nichole at the front desk was very polite and so was all the other staff there Unfortunately I can not remember all the names of the staff I had encounters with there, but each one of them were amazing They really have a great team at this site Room was clean, no complaints there I will definitely stay here again every time that I come to this city

Angie Rivera

Arrived at 9pm to check in and was greeted with a friendly smile and a hello even though she was taking care of another guest They were in the process of remodeling so the front desk was a little awkwardMy clerk got us on the top floor so that we wouldn’t be disturbed with any noise since we had to get up early for a flight

The only thing I didnt like was the elevators were not kept clean Only one elevator could be used due to renovating So it got plenty of use You can tell by all of the hand prints on the elevator doorsOverall the room was very clean We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the bathroom and beds The room was very nice and the hotel clerks were great The complimentary breakfast was also amazing

Suite had a kitchen, but microwave did not work The one appliance that I would have used I reported it and was directed to a community microwave down the hall

Appreciated CoVid measures in the room Phones and remotes wrapped, antibacterial wipes provided, etc Room was quiet Pillows were great Staff was friendly Easy access to I-295

Very happy with our stay! Kitchenette was lovely, full sized fridge and all the extras including plates etc Nice large desk, comfy reclining chair next to the bed, and the bathroom was clean and spacious The key card reader was a little finicky to get into the room

There were two really lovely gazebos out back, both of which featured a grill along with seating Security patrolled outside overnight, so we felt very safe and weren’t concerned about our vehicle Location was great, easy on/off the highway and a few places to order delivery from

Leah LaBounty

I’ve stayed here for a couple of extended stays Rooms and common areas are always clean Rooms have kitchenettes and full size fridges which is awesome; everything worked well

Free laundry, little gym area, often a selection of food/snacks/beverages/travel size toiletries Staff are all friendly and helpful, and do a good job of keeping everything clean A lot of long term stay guests Couple different outdoor areas with grills, there is a little pond in the back The area is kinda walkable but not a ton of stuff in the immediate area No pool or anything but the beach is close Great location, easy to get all around Jax and surrounding areas, right off 95 and 202 Usually a pretty quiet area as well I don’t really have any complaints!

Nice location and the breakfast was decent (minus the expired milk) Once we entered the room we noticed lots of hair on the bathroom floor as if the bathroom was halfway cleaned or rushed I asked the front desk lady to have it cleaned while we stepped out, but of course, it was not done

As soon as we got off the elevator there was trash piled up in the hallway which had the elevators stink (see pic) The pool also closed very early, very strange very inconvenient There was also a mirror behind the door in the main room Yes a glass mirror right behind the metal door handle I was not a huge fan of this property

I really wanted to say I had a nice experience for the 53 days this hotel was my home away from home, but I cannot The biggest problem I had were the ROACHES! I was moved to a different room on a different floor & evidently, I was the intruder & not the roaches! I took pics to prove this was not a random event; the pics are date stamped Second, something in the bedding or bed consistently bit me

It wasn’t bed bugs as I’m extremely allergic to them but, it was something I couldn’t see nor find Again, I’m the intruder Last but certainly not least, the washers were non functional during several weeks of my stay The front desk staff kindly told me I could take the laundry basket provided in all guestrooms, walk across 4 lanes of traffic & down the street to the owner’s Holiday Inn & wash my laundry there By the way, this was all while being ill & quarantined No need for me to have clean, sanitary clothing or to try & protect others by not coming in contact w/them I guessThis stay was less than pleasant & I’m hoping to never endure another stay like this one ever again at any hotel

The rooms were nice and comfortable The staff were very friendly It is an IHG hotel so the laundry was free and they have the lending cupboard

The downside to our stay was that a family of three had a reunion at the hotel and took up the entire pool and grill area every day and night We didn’t get to use the pool at all They were also loud and obnoxious

This place is nothing like the pics I paid $180 for one night, for a king bed and jetted tub The jetted tub didn’t work

One of the AC units didn’t work There was no light in the lamp on the nightstand The hot tub is unavailable The condition of the hotel is poor at best I asked for another room with jetted tub Nothing available Yet no refund or discount! The only reason I chose this hotel was because of the jetted tub in the room and the hot tub by the pool Neither worked! This room is worth maybe $50 a night at best I’m livid to say the least If nothing is done by management or corporate, I plan to post pictures and my negative review everywhere possible This is unacceptable!!!!!!

My parents are both disabled My mom has had a double lung transplant and my dad a stroke My mom is a patient at Mayo Clinic

They stayed at this place recently and the ac leaked, soaking the carpet They had no clean wash rags or towels even when requested My parents do not like to make a fuss so I called and the guy at the front desk did not care The guy at the front desk told me they do not replace towels daily My parents ask and they still did not get clean towels! Disrespectful staff and not clean

Room was nice overall Our room wasn’t throughly cleaned which caused a lower rating We checked in pretty late and checked out really early so didn’t really say anything to hotel staff

The other issue was, i checked in online the day before and selected room with digital key but was not able to use that feature The person that checked us in initially told us that he couldn’t find our reservation but after a few minutes had a squared away The manager the next morning greeted us as we left the hotel which was nice

I am here for a 3 day stay on business Visually the room and hotel looks great However there is an unexplainable moisture and damp smell in the room

The couch is actually damp to touch and the room just feels wet and overall gross Not to mention, the kitchen floor is greasy I asked to switch rooms which, the friendly gentleman at the desk did so without push back, however I did a walk through of the new room before moving my things and it was the same situation So I returned to the original room I am not sure if this is hotel wide or exclusive to the hearing impaired and disabled rooms (which they both are) I purchased candles with hopes of dissipating the smell, unfortunately that is not helpful either Needless to say, I am looking forward to the end of this trip The stars are for friendly staff and aesthetics

Work has taken me to Jacksonville once again and decided to stay here due to it’s proximity to where I’ll be working From the moment I walked in the staff was extremely polite and helpful, particularly the young man at the front desk The rooms are all suites and are very nice and cozy

The rooms are absolutely CLEAN They smell nice and no dirt anywhere As a person who struggles with sleep I was very happy with the bed very comfortable A nice full breakfast is served in the morning Definitely recommend
