A friend and I took our daughters to Disney for a few days and I am absolutely pleased with our stay at the Tropicana! We arrived early and they allowed us to check in right away (Around 8:30am) they brought towels everything was clean, the pool was great, and most importantly… the park was literally across the street from the hotel so that meant less walking for us and I didn’t have to drive my car to the park and pay for extra parking! (Win-win) All of the employees were kind and the day of check out, they held on to our luggage at the front desk and allowed me to leave my car parked at the hotel until midnight I will 100% stay here again!

Trisha

First off this is more like a motel not a hotel as the rooms all exit and enter from the outside of the building Feels very dated, old, much like a budget hotel (which the prices were not) and we wish we had stayed elsewhere Carpet peeling up, damp feel to the room

You can tell these rooms are highly run through Staff was unpleasant except for the housekeeping, they were kind Washer and dryers out of order makes a huge inconvenience in our travel plans Thoroughly wish we had stayed down the road even if it would have been further from Disney I would have preferred a nicer stay Even though most are only here to sleep usually, they could at least do some updating and be more polite Not a very magical feel for our family, check out the places nearby if you’re wanting a nice room for your money Also note the parking is a joke and the valet service is not necessary, they won’t let you take your car to your room without a fight

The hotel is at the most perfect location for Disneyland It is right next to restaurants for the kids, and a quick 5 minute walk puts you at the Disneyland security check point We loved having the hotel close for a quick nap or pit stop

The maid service is wonderful and even in January the pool is fun Highly recommend this hotel if you are going to Disneyland

So far so good When we arrived at 6pm and checked in, the hotel had a social time on; free beer and wine, snacks and some salads The room is nice (we did have an issue with the pull out couch and it did not pull out) but everything is great

Swimming pool for the kids, free breakfast, full kitchen in the rooms which is good when you want some snacks and such or if you want to make nachos or something Overall I think this place is great I would highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a family friendly accommodation

Shelly

We loved this hotel! It’s right next to one of the Disneyland parking lots with a free shuttle to and from the parks It’s not a bad walk either, under a mile The hotel has great breakfast that we didn’t take advantage of until our last day because we were ready to eat as early as we left

The pool is great Has a mini golf spot and a game room outside The lobby is nice and big The rooms are large so you have space to spread out Staff was great, especially the breakfast staff There was even an evening social one night with Soup, Salads, fruit and cheese! Lots of restaurants within walking distance This hotel is a winner!!!

Klint Johnson

Great hotel for this price pointStaff is super friendly!Let us park before checking in, allowing us to go to the park before our stayProvided great accommodations

The pull out bed and trundle bed under the bunk were awesome and useful, but MOR for an adult Kids slept there with few complaints (but they did complain a little)Breakfast is good Not super nutritious, and pretty much the same everyday, but tasted great to the kids! They loved it!!!Great place to stay for a trip to Disneyland!!!

Springhill Suites is a good place to lay your head down and not have to worry about cleanliness The establishment is fairly new but the housekeeping and upkeep of the place is top notch Rooms are decorated up to date nicely and are more than spacious enough for whatever your need may be

Bathrooms are immaculate and also very spacious Checking in and out was effortless and quick and we would have had been in our room within minutes but we stopped at the lobby bar for a drink which was nice Continental breakfast was the usual food items for hotels but what was nice about the breakfast was it stayed open a little bit longer than the closing for those of us who wake up lateA good experience which makes me be a future returning patron

Lilleann Bryant

We were greeted by a very friendly front desk employee He gave us all the info on the hotel and bar before we head up to our room The room was very nice and clean

The only complaint I have is, the water left over on the floor from the kids coming in and out of the pool The pool is outside and most of these kids weren’t drying off before coming into the hotel to get on the elevator I don’t recall seeing a “caution wet” sign or anyone making an effort to clean up the water that can cause some to slip Overall though it was a great stay and breakfast was nice

Mia Sun

SpringHill is a nice choice for families Some rooms come with 2 queen beds and a sofa/trundle combo That’s right these room sleep 6 nicely

The sofa bed is a bit firm but nice in size The trundle pulls out if you need an extra space Both of these options are NOT like sofa beds with the bars making them lumpy and uncomfortableThe breakfast is pretty good with waffle makers and a few choices of other items, like scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt, muffins, fruit, etcThe location is in an industrial area and there just isn’t much very close, but grocery stores and restaurants are about a 5 minute driveThe bathroom door is a bad deal in Springhill suites! Marriott designers really missed the mark with these translucent windows in the doors! If you need a light on in the bathroom at night or early morning it shines through the door and lights up the whole room They should seriously consider just painting them solid black

For It’s kind, it is a decent choice We were a family of five, with 3 teenagers, and took the 2 story room Don’t be mistaken by the name, the rooms are small and the bathrooms are tiny

It is relatively clean, they only come in once a week but will provide towels as much as needed The bath amenities are good but of course nothing more than shampoo and shower gel It is a 12 minutes drive frown Disney and 45 from universal Anaheim itself has enough dining options The breakfast is the usual omelet, cereal and muffins thing Not enough choices though and not even a bagel, just regular bread The front desk team is super nice and friendly at all hours of the day They kept packages for me and allowed us to stay another hour at checkout

First time I have been disappointed with a Marriott Hotel Location is great for Disneyland proximity and roomier with a bigger family but that’s the only positive thing to say The door to our room was extremely hard to open unless you use brute force

One day I ended up spilling some of my food from the complimentary breakfast because I simply could not open the door with one hand Several things wrong with our stay: the room had a HEAVY smell of smoking With 3 kids that is not ideal I’d feel a slight headache every time I entered the front door because it was so strong Also the ceiling fan in the living room didn’t work or have any way of turning on The microwave didn’t work When I book hotels, I find ones with microwaves for the purpose of heating up food, which I couldn’t do during this trip The toilets are extremely small and look like they are more for kids But the worst part of all was that during our 5 day stay, I didn’t get trash pick up once On the 4th day I went down to front desk to request for trash, toilet paper refills and towel exchange Sadly after coming back at midnight after a long daywe came to find that they had left toilet paper and towels on the couch, but had not bothered to empty our trash I understand with Covid things and times have changed, but do you really think guests can stay in a room for 5 days and not have any trash? I was upset especially after I told front desk we needed it to be done while we were gone for the day This is NOT Marriott standard and do not plan to stay here again

Kute KittyKat Productions

The rooms need updating but they were clean Except the smell We couldn’t understand why but the room was unpleasant with the odor of marijuana, despite airing it out constantly

It lasted the duration of our stayPillows are great Mattresses are awful Like sleeping on a bouncy house Sofa is appalling No support Old Very uncomfortableNot enough toiletries, TP, towels provided Dispensers were empty or almost empty 2 shampoos in the bathroom downstairs 2 conditioners upstairs Tiny soaps in inadequate quantity Dish soap missing All required phone call to desk InconvenientInsufficient parking but it’s well-lit and we had no problems and saw no sign of anyone else having problemsWater dispenser in the gym was brokenBreakfast OK Friendly staff Friendly front deskHighlight of stay was the wonderful housekeeper tucked my son’s Pokémon plushie into bed when he cleaned the room It was a very sweet touch and we appreciated itAlso, the front desk woman shooed a transient off the property We were intimidated by his presence He seemed mentally ill or inebriated We were dreading staying because of this She came out and encouraged him to leave the picnic table outside our room and find someplace else to go We thought it was incredibly brave of her and we appreciated it very much We would have regretted staying with you if there were transients on the property

Our stay at Hyatt Anaheim was absolutely superb!! Upon arriving, we were immediately provided a warm welcome and exceptional hospitality We actually arrived a couple hours early from a very draining commute and the front desk staff was absolutely delightful to us! She recognized I was a Hyatt member and was able to upgrade our room and check us in early, which was an absolute Godsend! Our room was beautifully open and spacious, and the view of the Disneyland firework show was beyond anything I could have hoped for We will definitely be staying here for all our Anaheim trips going forward!

Jessica O’Leary

I used this hotel as a cheap, close stay to Disneyland It worked great for me since I didn’t do much other than sleep and shower in the room The room was small but clean and comfortable for my party of 2

We were also permitted to park one car per room at the hotel for free, but parking does fill up fast and is first come first serve, so it’s not always a guarantee that you will have a spot The hotel had free breakfast which I didn’t have since we already made plans elsewhere, but they did mention it was offered at check in I also opted not to have the cleaning service during my stay since it was only a few days and I didn’t need it Check in and out was super easy and fast, no complaints with this hotel I would stay here again if I were planning a trip to Disney, but if you’re looking to spend time at the hotel, you may be happier somewhere with more space and luxuries

Jeszle Anne Bauzon-Bush

Fresh, Clean, Modern take on the dated hotel roomWe arrived for check-in afterdark and the check-in was easy, safe, and Jenny had great customer service! We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights during a family reunion Disney trip Our first room was fresh, clean, and had an open layout with a king bed and a double/twin bunk

The second room was clean and crisp, and the layout varied with the king bed and the double/twin bunk being separated by a wall This, giving the bunk area a clubhouse feel, which the kids appreciatedLots of plenty of counter space, closet space, shelves and the restrooms are huge Less than 10 min from Disneyland, and caddy corner from Joe’s Italian Ice (which had a huge line out the door)They offer a free basic breakfast, which we never got a chance to try, but is always a convenience We had no issues ordering a pizza from a local pizza shop, and having it delivered to our room Parking is one car per room, and there was plenty of parking

Great location, really close to Disneyland (15 minutes walk) We stayed in the 1 bedroom for 4 nights The room was spacious, the bed was really comfortable, and had all the kitchen amenities necessary to cook

Very quiet and clean There is a heated pool plus hot tub but we didn’t use them Nice staff I would definitely stay there again !

Josh Fish

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel Our room was clean, big enough for my whole party, and close enough to walk to Disneyland Although the walk was a lot at the end of the night, the room and pleasant accommodations made up for that long walk

Being able to wake up and slightly see Disneyland was an awesome part of my vacation and the constant reminder of being in California really made it a wonderful experience I cannot recommend this hotel enough and I fully intend on looking here before I look at any resorts nearby on my next visit to Disneyland

JungleJeff

Great stay, we just got home from an 8 night stay at the Clementine in a 1 bedroom unit Our unit was very clean, very quite ,very comfortable and the beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in Location of the hotel is about a 15 minute walk to Disneyland, and 3 min walk to Anaheim Garden Walk All the staff we interacted with were extremely friendly

Due to the pandemic housekeeping was limited I was made aware of this when I made my reservation, but they came in mid way through our stay and did an impeccable job of freshening up the placeThere is a lot of renovation going on at the property, however the workers are there limited day time hours, so it doesn’t really interfere with the overall guest experienceOn future trips to Anaheim, we’ll definitely stay here again

Great hotel Very modern! Rooms were very clean Everyone smiled

Every employee I spoke to I had fresh towels and linens in my room everyday Service was outstanding Internet wasn’t very fast as I like BUT I can only assume it’s be a use EVERY guest was using it at the same time The balcony seems a bit easy to get to your neighbors side Only separation was a glass wall that someone could easily cross over The latches on my door didn’t lock in place but the back up bar bend the sliding door was enough to keep anyone from getting in But all in all it was a great place and would come back from Kansas again! Thank you!!

a davis

Our stay here was great! Restaurants and food stops to purchase food inside location and all that we had (food)was good They have a station that makes pizza’s per your request, there is a deli type location that serve breakfast in the morning and things like burritos in the the eveningGreat cocktails ( from when you are Disney-out!)

Location very clean with sanitation sites everywhereStaff was great and very helpful and willing to assist you with any of your needsLocated across the street from Disney Toyland parking which was very convenient for my family to get to and from the park

Arthur L Attocknie

I appreciate the loyalty program Marriott has and it truly has its benefits and perks The view from the room was amazing even though it was a view of pretty much of all the metro south of Anaheim The weather in California is obviously nice, but the balcony and sliding door allowed me to keep the room at a comfortable temperature without A/C

The room A/C worked, I just like outside weather too The room service food was enjoyable and the staff was amazing Most of the time when I needed something, they took less than 10 minutes for anything, even though they quoted me the usual 25-30 minutes The check-in and check-out experience was fantastic and expedient This hotel should be at the top of your list if you’re visiting this area Disneyland is short journey from this location You could walk if needed

Nice rooms and super short distance from Disney! Didn’t use the pool or exercise equipment, but it all looked nice The rooms were great too Bed was pretty comfortable and the couch and coffee bar were a nice addition

The bathroom was good, but the shower/bathtub had some suspicious red spots, so we just showered with our flip flops on The breakfast buffet is good, but not a huge selection of cereal Eggs, sausage, yogurt, and french toast sticks were all good though There is also a great view of the Disney fireworks during 4th of July Service was great But we didn’t use the valet service, so can’t review on that Overall I recommend because of the short walk to Disneyland, great service, good food, and good rooms! I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Disneyland

Amanda Galvan

Close enough to Disney to walk The rooms to me are so nice You have so much room for the kids or just you to move around

You don’t need to fold up any strollers or anything to make space I love the full fridge and lots of counter top space The couch is comfortable too I love this mattress but everyone is different I would stay here again

Heather G

Pros: it’s within a 15 minute walking distance to Disneyland/California Adventure The breakfast is decent with a wide variety They have hot plates and skillets if you choose to make food at your room

The splash pad is nice and has a timer so water isn’t wasted AC was very cold when we got into the room, someone had set it to 50 degreesCons (why it’s 4/5 stars): I’m not sure who decided putting a sliding barn door on a bathroom was a good idea Apparently they think you should share your bathroom habits with everyone in the room There is also no fan in there It makes it hard to get ready in the morning without waking everyone up since the light and noises leak through The parking situation is kind of a pain We asked if we’d have to pay to keep our vehicle there on the day we checked out It’s an extra $40 if you keep your vehicle there past 12pm We’re already paying $30 parking each night we stay So we decided to pay Disney instead and park at Pixar lot so we didn’t have a deadline to get back to the hotelAlso if anyone from the hotel reads this, please move one of the towel stations closer to the splash pad Walking along the slippery sides of the pool to get to the two towel stations near the hot tub felt dangerous

too bad it’s not closer to DisneylandJocelyn helped make our reservation and she was so helpful and made accommodations for our family even though it was a last minute booking, I really appreciate her diligence and caring personality Great customer service! 👌

The check in was easy The location was on a main street close to stores as well as eating places The 2 bedroom was large

We were on the bottom floor We didn’t hear any noise from the second floor The cleanliness of the door frames, window frames as well as the curtains were lacking attention of NOT being cleaned On the website the pictures show a fireplace We couldn’t figure out how to use the fireplace We called the front desk and we were told that we would have to pay $1000 for a log!!!! Say WHAT?! We were also told that they were out of logs at that moment That information should be stated on the website that you HAVE to pay extra money to use the fireplace that they are advertising and it is NOT FREE! Breakfast is from 7:00 -9:00 very small window

Amazing stay Very clean, a simple but great hot breakfast, easy straight direction walk to Disney AND the ART drops you off right at the hotel if you feel so included to use the bus! Service was great, pillows comfy I am very very happy with my decision to stay there and I will absolutely be back

Thank you for a great trip! We stayed in the Theme Park view 2 bedroom suite with bunk beds I did find the view pretty lame lol, but not a big deal to us I will try a different room next time because I hear the non-theme park view rooms are just as nice All I care about are cleanliness, service and distance to Disney and it is five stars all the way Thank you!!

My family and I came to the hotel around 11am for check-in, knowing it was very early, but just letting them know we were in the area and ready to check-in when it was available The Front Desk Agent offered to put a rush on cleaning the room, and told me someone would call me when our room was ready Less than two hours later, we received a call that our room was ready and were able to check-in early to visit the pool! The front desk crew was very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean – the bunk bed room was a big hit with the kids

The pool was fun and always had towels stocked We grabbed breakfast to-go with the kids as we headed to Disney early each morning but found that very helpful Quick walk to the parks We wouldn’t change a thing!

Room, service, and location were great for those visiting Disneyland Close enough to walk with firework viewsOnly downside was that we chose here for the splash pad also, but the water was FREEZING

kid got instantly cold and began to shiver after a few minutes Had to warm her up in the spa before leaving the pool Pool was cool at best, not warm at all Everything else was alright except for the water temps to be remotely enjoyable for kids

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel We were assigned to the wrong room, but we got that figured out after some back and forth The employees seemed pretty responsive

Housekeeping was by request, but I feel like that is fair because they gave us notice of that beforehand The breakfast was good; the same as every other Hampton Inn I have stayed at We took the ART shuttle to Disneyland; it was very convenient, but didn’t really run on time so we just had to wait We drove a minivan and didn’t have a problem with the parking lot Overall, we liked it and would consider staying here again

Would stay here again If you’re just looking for a nice, clean room to stay for a quick visit to Disneyland or Angel stadium It was a quick drive firm either park and we’ve tried a few in the area

Bathrooms were nice and the water was hot Beds were fine and there was a cold mini fridge, and small microwave in the room Rooms stayed quiet with minimal noise from outside or the hallway

I am staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites Garden Grove right now! I have stayed at 5 ⭐ hotels that didn’t even come close to how amazing the staff were at this hotel! I ❤️ to travel and I would say hands down, this is the most amazing, friendly, helpful staff/hotel I’ve ever stayed at My son got the dreaded “virus” and we didn’t want everyone in our room to be exposed Grandma stayed with him and me and my other son rented a second room

They not only gave me an amazing deal for the second room, they also came and completely sanitized/cleaned/replaced everything once he was over it!

Check in was easy, staff was very accommodating, I have health issues which allow me a service dog, staff was very understanding and treated my dog with respect and care The bartender came and brought my dog some cold water to drink, which I thought was very sweet! Room was beautiful! Perfect! Best sleep I have had in weeks! Beds are heaven! Very clean rooms and great staff make for a 5 star review I found my new fave local hotel! Thank you Doubletree for treating us so kindly

Only two housekeepers for the whole hotel Check-in was 3-4 hours late so I had to find something to do for those hours for the whole family I got an email at 3p saying I could start my virtual check in so we were pretty surprised when we got to the hotel that there was a long line of people being told their rooms weren’t ready

Also called for blankets, pillows, and towels because the room was under stocked They never showed up, assuming due to low staffingRoom was otherwise clean and well kept

JND Sawtelle

The room was very expensive When I asked for extra coffee packets for the room the attendant said they had no more and I would need to order from the restaurant I said a hotel this large and no extra coffee? She said we have decaf

The guy behind her said let me go look in the back, 5 minutes later he came back with 2′ packets This is only an example of how rude and unhelpful the staff was For $250 a night you would think they would have more professional service

We absolutely loved our stay! The front desk staff is amazing and very helpful with brochures and knowing their stuff about the park if Disneyland is the reason for your stay Our room was immaculate and clean, and we were able to watch the fireworks from our window Walk to the park is about 10 to 15 minutes depending on how fast you walk

Located conveniently right next to a gas station The beds are comfortable, the showers are a dream and it was quiet We would definitely stay here again!

To be honest has been a lot since I wrote a good review for a hotel in the USA in which you receive a great value for what you pay, and this hotel is one of those Yes there is no restaurant service but there is a small kitchen inside equipped with everything needed also the clean was particularly good vs a lot of other hotels I strongly recommend if you like to cook your own food when following a specific diet

The front desk team was amazing and kind and the location of the hotel is very good, there are places to eat nearby if you like to eat something instead of cooking

Carolann Petersen

The girls at the front desk were extremely nice and very helpful I had to stay with my family due to a fire at our home and they were so nice and welcoming

especially Cynthia she was the best of the best! Your housekeepers were extremely nice as well you guys have a great team! However the male with the blonde hair was not so friendly!

halley leta-pombo

This hotel is cute and stylist I loved that the soap was liquid and dove They had some extra little perks in the rooms I loved outside of having the kitchen a desk that could also be a table and comfortable beds

Great distance from Disneyland 2 parking garages so your car is only indoors and not hot when you get inside from the sunOnly thing I would say is fix the 2nd garages door Can’t pull to open because it gets stuck
