Enjoyed this place before, but this time as a casual older traveler there was no senior discount and the extra charge for dogs is not clearly mentioned and appears only as fine print We booked directly with the hotel and mentioned our two smaller dogs Got a two night rate of approx $370 with taxes and then found that had not taken into account the dogs and that had to be tacked on

Discovered this out when we got to the hotel They did allow us to cancel when we checked in and found out the added fees I appreciate “dog friendly”, but fee needs to be more prominently displayed

We had a very pleasant two night stay at this hotel The king suite had ample room for our whole family (2 adults and 2 children)It was a very clean room, especially the bathroom and kitchen

It’s located near a large shopping mall, so options for food and entertainment are plentifulThe staff is exceptional, with a special thanks to the folks working in the evening The were very attentive and friendly

This hotel was nice for a lot of reasons but the FIVE STARS are for the amazing staff!!! Our family is well travelled and we were very impressed with the housekeeping, kitchen and front desk teams

in our short weekend stay we only got to personally meet Dee, Willie, Christina, Kyle, Dwight and Johnbut each of them really went above and beyond the call of hospitality to meet and exceed our expectations Well done everyone, you all deserve a BIG raise!!!

This inn was amazing After driving from South Florida and staying in Savannah GA the night before, this was our first night in the mountains There were rocking chairs on the balcony that overlooked the river and had An absolutely gorgeous view of the mountains

The inn is settled right in the mountain literally around the corner from Ruby Falls When we got there, Mason was working and he was more than accommodating He made sure the fire pit was lit and we had sticks for roasting marshmallows He came down to help with the TV He was super pleasant and helpful and I know how busy he was The room was clean and even had cute folded washcloths with toiletries inside them The breakfast was in a quaint room that was half living room and half dining area The food was excellent…much better than a hotel chain The breakfast staff was friendly and chatty The pool looked great (there was lightning all night so we didn’t go in) The inn just had an overall quaint feeling with southern hospitality and rustic charm It was a great start to our vacation! Also the front desk has a cute gift shop

tj johnson

I don’t normally give a review but this Riverview Inn was exceptional Very cozy room and inviting when we walked in The bed was comfortable and clean however the pillows were too fluffy but Some people might like that

The views were gorgeous I loved that we could sit on the balcony and take in the scenery The fire pit was a nice surprise Parking was a bit of an issue for full size truck but that’s to be expected up on a narrow mountain top but we managed just fine I would recommend this lovely place ❤️

visited 3 – 5 June 2022: The room was clean, breakfast was light but adequate staff were pleasant and helpful My wife and I used the gym (elliptical and treadmill)

None of the displays work and one treadmill didn’t work at all The breakfast staff person Saturday was one point however, the staff person on Sunday morning was slow to restock the juice/milk chest so both were warm Plus you had to ask for water because it was not available in the serving area Visited this hotel when it was first built so we know a better job can be done Yet, if our options are limited as was in this case we would stay at a Homewood Suite Hotel

Jonathan Jones

I’ve stayed at several Homewood Suites before, always among the best small-suite hotels Here, the lady at check-in was one of the sweetest people we met while in Chattanooga, genuine & hospitable, she made us truly feel welcome The majority of other staff we encountered, however, barely lifted a finger

One employee at the breakfast area simply watched TV for half an hour Fresh coffee would have been nice What was there was lukewarm When trying to re-enter the next morning, a man at the front desk simply yelled through the glass “Back Up” as I keyed the entry, and then not a word or even eye contact when I walked through the door That was the general vibe for most of the staff except the sweet lady on check-in Plus, these are old rooms w/ a makeover Smaller than other Homewood suites and with popcorn ceilings and bathrooms that would look more like fitting in a Super 8 than in a Hilton brand hotel

Dave Shawver

Homewood Suites near Hamilton Place is a little older but still clean with friendly staff The suites are nice and roomy

The living room area had plenty of room to spread out and work The gym had a malfunctioning treadmill but had another as well as elliptical The gym didn’t have many weights Outdoor pool only Breakfast was Hampton Inn style This was a decent stay

Our stay was great!! We really enjoyed the convenience of checking in & out with our cellphone We received a text when our room was ready with our room number and entry code! Our room was a two bedroom/two bathroom, and we loved it!! Very modern & very spacious The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with just about anything you would need during your stay

The hotel in general was very quite which was very relaxing! The only suggestion I would have would be to add a lighted mirror or vanity in the bathrooms, other than that we really enjoyed our entire stay! We are looking forward to returning in the fall with another couple to enjoy time downtown with our friends! Thank you for being so attentive and making our stay so comfortable!

Ruthanne Bates

The hotel’s ambiance is creative and inviting The tall brick building has been remodeled to include a spacious entrance ,complete with cafe in the morning and bar in afternoon and night The main lobby, encircled with windows, has pretty street views that are visible on three sides and includes a ping pong table

We stayed three nights Great views of downtown Chattanooga from our apartment This is like a beautiful AirbnbBode has a friendly, accommodating staffThe renovated rooms include an equipped kitchen, living area complete with TV and games The beautiful bedrooms are designed and spaced apart for a peaceful, restful nights sleep Security is excellentUsing a key pad and app made it so much easier to navigate We liked using the stairs! DownGreat exercise! Top experience in a hotel!

Eddie Rourk (Fast Eddie)

Love this place! I honestly want to live here If the Bode reads this review, contact me with lease info I’d have a deposit ready for you to move in today

It’s safe and secure because it has locked entrance ways The layout is fun and social The room we rented was like an old school apartment from the 40s Exposed ceilings and pipes Gorgeous counter tops Great views and playful furnitureIf you have to have something negative to say, it doesn’t include cable, only Chromecast But in this day and age who isn’t using streaming services?Honestly, it was a great day there Love it

Room was clean overall except shower needs more thoroughly cleaning There was a vent in the bathroom but no fan Breakfast should offer eggs without cheese option and better tasting coffee Room layout good for overnight trip on a road trip but would look for another place for a longer stay

(No closet only hang rail and hooks, very small desk, has mini fridge but no microwave or in room coffee)

Absolutely amazing staff that would make any manager proud ! AGM Sean , Kim at the front desk and Tim are all wonderful at what they do You can tell they truly care about going above and beyond for guest ! Every time I am there those 3 in particular make me feel welcomed The rooms are good for a couple or traveling alone and I love the smell of the lemon soap in the bathroom ! Breakfast is always delicious and I think the pancake machine is a really cool addition !

Room 218 (faces Red Roof Inn) My reservation was for 3 nights while in town I had high hopes, but as soon as I pulled into the parking lot and saw the people hanging around outside at the Red Roof Inn, which shares the parking lot I knew I wouldn’t get any rest for worrying about my vehicleThe reception and check in was speedy and very polite

My room, 218 felt like a humid jungle upon arrival The rooms are small, but a fridge is in the room and the TV was large The water pressure and hot water was lacking terribly; I have more pressure in my 5th wheel I let the water run on the highest “hot”setting for over 20 minutes and it never got pass luke warm If you like extra firm beds, then you’re in luck! The pillows ugh, that’s why I always bring my own Breakfast choices are what you’d expect, nothing noteworthy I definitely would not stay againIf you park on the Red Roof Inn side be prepared to be approached by randoms for money

Arrived at 1020 pm on a hot July night to arrive in a 90+ degree room on the top floor Apparently the “eco friendly” AC turns off if it doesn’t sense movement… so here we are at almost 11 pm sweating waiting for the AC to make it a decent temperature in here to be able to sleep Hope we don’t have to jump around the room in the middle of the night to make it keep working

When I made the call to Ryan, covering the front desk, saying that we were very much delayed on our arrival, he was cheerful and courteous in his approach to the midnight show up time “Just take your time and be careful in your travels” he said, adding “We’ll be here waiting for you!” He and his counterpart took really good care of us and we were settled into our lovely water view unit very quickly Great night’s sleep was followed by a wonderful breakfast – coffee, tea, juice selections and lots of cereals, oatmeal, bagels, muffins, yogurts and hand held sausage/egg/cheese sandwiches

there might have been more – and all was included in the room price! Beautiful decor and unbelievably friendly staff everywhere As Marriott regulars, we were given the opportunity for a late (and I emphasize late) departure on our checkout day, allowing us to share some laughter and create joyful memories with our son and grandchildren at the indoor pool Thanks to Sarah – that sunny smile as we turned in the keys and your “please keep safe and come back again soon” comment made me want to share a genuine hug It was a GREAT experience and one that clinches my opinion that Marriott is the perfect place to stay!!

Danny P

What a great view and location I always love being able to go for a nice stroll to the bridge and get some exercise with great views The staff have all been very friendly and accommodating

Definitely want to stay here again The firepit by the restaurant is nice to relax by and enjoy the river Didn’t try the restaurant connected but it looks tasty

Haris Alibasic, Ph.D.

The hotel does not honor booking by Bookings Saving a copy of the original receipt does not help The room has a dirty floor

The walls are paper thin and you hear everything from other rooms Parking is confusing and expensive The hotel looks promising but details matter, dirty floors, sheets that were purchased two thousand years ago, bed mattress from consolidated sales, and what appears to be mold in bathroom The choices are a plenty in Chattanooga and this hotel ain’t going to be my choice in the future Manager refused to honor the Bookings charge and explained how the parking is not their problem or responsibility and that the hotel charges extra for parking to recoup the charge for the city Jesse at the front desk was helpful

A very well done, thoughtful place It’s clean, the staff is extremely friendly, they show you around and explain things well It’s fun to stay in a place where you’re apt to meet other guests in common areas

Sound does travel a bit, but it wasn’t bothersome for us The way the place is built feels very healthy / non-toxic; for example there is no carpet, so none of the industrial chemicals one would associate with carpet The whole place feels good in this way We had a wonderful stay, a good night’s rest, and enjoyed using the shared kitchen and outdoor areas We also had a delicious dinner and the Flying Squirrel next door

Benjamin Woodill

Hands down the best place to stay in Chattanooga All the staff are awesome and the place has a great vibe It’s located conveniently to walk or take the shuttle around downtown and see the city

They also have a huge climber following and can help you with figuring out where to climb, sell guidebooks, rent crash pads, chalk, etc It’s a great place to stay You go out to climb, come back and eat, then sit out by the fire pit What are you waiting for? Stay here and see how awesome it is

Sean Ferrell

An astonishingly well run business, great staff, and a lovely place to stay For those who want a hotel experience, note that this is a hostel, and there are differences For those who like the hostel experience, it’s hard to find a better one

Stop in at flying squirrel for a delicious meal and courteous service while you’re staying at the crash pad

Reviews seem mixed, but we found this place to be clean, quiet and comfortable Decor & construction/remodel seem newish Staff was outgoing, friendly and helpful

My wife saw a hair somewhere in the bathroom- somehow our culture is conditioned to react to that with disgust (me included) but, like others have commented, for me it’s really not a big deal Shower water was 1/2 degree cooler than I’d have preferred- wish they had knobs that “…go to ELEVEN!” – but otherwise the shower was great, with nice shower head (clean, and new)

Beth Ann Mosley Pavlica

My stay was horrible The rooms feel dirty and dank The pool was nice

Our room had a terrible smell We were moved to a different room It was still less than desirable The evening check in staff was friendly but uneducated on how to properly complete check in for a guest whom has prepaid for the entire stay! I always book and pay prior to stay The hotel initiated a hold on my debit card for the COMPLETE stay amount!! Here it is 8 days later and the hold is still there!!!!!!!! This is like stealing money I have no access to those funds that I earned! Not to mention that I paid for the entire stay already and prior to checking in My family and I took this trip as a quick vacation for our son and you can imagine how it dampened the entire trip to know that the majority of spending money was tied up I spoke with the GM of the hotel and he comped our room and told me he released the hold I have contacted the CBO for Sonesta and I continue to be given the brush off My recommendation is DO NOT stay at this hotel It could be a very unfortunate experience

Nidhi Kikkeri

Stayed here over a weekend Room was clean King size bed was super comfortable

The room appeared to be smaller compared to in pictures It had a microwave and a refrigerator We could also go to the backyard from the room and spend time there Pool was very close Bathroom was clean Hotel staff were good Location is convenient and has multiple restaurants near by Overall, the place seems pricey

The hotel has a nice location right off the highway There’s also a mall and an over abundance of convenient and various food options all within a walk or quick drive away (though with all the traffic you may not want to do the former) The building looks well kept and the rooms look clean an updated

My only complaint is that the beds were too stiff for my tastes The pillows were nice, though

Monica A

Upon entering the hotel it was very nice and clean and the hotel staff were nice as well We stayed in a room with a Queen size bed and a sofa couch The room had a very stale smell but nothing a little Lysol couldn’t help

The sofa couch was very old and stained as well, it definitely needed to be replaced We didn’t make much of a fuss about it because the bed of it was clean, very small and flat but clean The Queen bed was nice, clean, and comfortable The bathroom was in great shape and clean, as well They offered a complimentary breakfast that was very bland and unappetizing My biggest problem and the main reason for the 2 stars is the indoor pool My kids were very excited about being able to swim however, the pool was very dirty The walls and floor were completely brown The water was so cloudy you couldn’t even see your hand in it I’m not sure if it was from the chlorine or just because it was dirty My kids and I got in and immediately got back out I’m very disappointed! I picked this place based off of the reviews and was completely let down

Crystal Dallas

The Hotel was great I absolutely loved everything about it, from Greeting you when you walk in, The Cleanliness of the rooms and through out the hotel and the wonderful breakfast The only reason I gave it an 8 were because the walls could use a little wiping down and the Curtains could be cleaned

But other than that it’s a 5 star for me!!!!

Stayed in room 215 for one night Great location, on the top of a steep hill Some rooms have a great view, but ours was facing a competitor’s hotel next door

Check-in was fast and friendly The breakfast was good, and our room was clean, albeit maybe showing it’s age We’d stay here again

Good breakfast Convenient locationOnly downfall is its not big vehicle friendly and definitely no space for trailers

If you get in late at night you may not find a spot Otherwise friendly staff Not every room is facing the mountain Beds were 50/50 on comfort Overall would stay again though

Our check in time was set for 3:00, this time was confirmed at 12:30 day of Once arriving staff informed me my room was not ready It was not until 6:15 that my room became available

Once entering the room we only had 3 towels and 2 rags, we were a family of 4 We also had no sheets, blankets, or pillows for the pull out sofa Next morning, breakfast was served until 10am, we arrived at 9:00 to eat They were out of eggs and potatoes, there was no milk for the cereal, when asked I was told were out of the food items, but I can get you milk Overall our experience was horrible for the price of the stay Manager did apply a discount to our room, but for how bad the experience was I would have rather stayed at a Motel 8

Breakfast was a little to be desired Bagel machine broken no rotation so you have to be on point not to burn your bagel! No sausage gravy and biscuit Sausage biscuit was soggy

Not a indication of the usual f one service at Marriott hotels Stay was nice, Dennis at the front desk was awesome giving us his family history in conjunction with Tennessee Aquarium

My employer recommended that I stay here It is the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in Silverware in drawer has crusty ketchup on them A plate has crusty ketchup on it I found a small moving bug on my bed I stepped on a staple and cut my foot This is on one week visit That’s not all2 My agreement says that the hotel will cost 10900 per night plus taxes Residence Inn charged me 16600 for two nights out of four After my employer made several phone calls and started the agreement, management told my employer they would fix it There were 5 of us in the same hotel that were in the same class We were all charged different amounts They have yet to resolve this3 The front desk clerk was so rude to two of us about the costs of our room His name was Justin He was pompous and Ill-mannered, to say the least4 The other clerk was so nice I don’t recall his name5 Matt seemed to want to help us I’ve just not seen the resultsI have to return next month I will be seeking another hotel The Manager will be speaking to the lady that holds our contract with Residence Inn I feel sure that our contract will endI Look forward to staying in a clean hotel, with a nicer staff We have let this agreement go on for wayyyy too longSigned,Instructor

Location is very busy, but that’s what you’d expect for the area Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby, and a great continental breakfast in the morning Some staff was fantastic, others were a bit iffy

Loved the ladies cleaning the rooms! So personable and welcoming A major breath of fresh air, and our kids loved their smiling faces

Stopped in for a short overnight (got there after 12) but had a good impression Lobby was expansive but somehow still cozy Rooms were comfortable and efficient

Lots of food options nearby (which we didn’t get to enjoy) Only “down-side” was house-keeping knocking on our door a little after 10am Granted, I didn’t have the sign on the door but was letting my son sleep in, so equally my fault Didn’t get to try breakfast Would definitely stay here again

The bathroom here in our room is EXTREMELY small Room was somewhat clean The bedskirt on both beds has stains/dirt on both beds

I was not happy about that The ac did work great though So that’s a plus I did enjoy breakfast, as it was hot Scrambled Eggs, sausage, boiled eggs, muffins, etc Some of the TV channels weren’t working, not sure why

Starting with service, what a disappointment The lady at check in at night was not personable and offered very little help So much so we were afraid to ask for an extra pillow

The next morning a new lady was at the front desk and I asked where the ice machine was located She looked up from her phone as if I had interrupted her most valuable moment and simply pointed a direction and then went back to her phone The service was beyond rude and we totally inconvenienced them on their job if doing nothing but watching their phonesThe first room we were in was gross There was pop splattered on the wall and hair in the bathroom We went to give my son a bath We let him potty and tried to flush the toilet No luck! When we started the water there was no way to plug the tub and we found hair We reluctantly called down to the front desk because remember she wasn’t friendly the first time And she asked what do you want me to do We asked for another room and were granted one The second room we received was no better for cleanliness Chips on the floor, nicotine gum boxes on the floor, and I hate to know what else The bathroom was still not cleaned behind the sink faucet but looked better than the first room We stayed only because it was 10 pm and we had driven 9 hours and still had 8 more the next day to drive otherwise we would have requested a refundThe only positive to this experience was the breakfast was actually decent for a hotel breakfastI would not recommend staying here if possible

Very clean, comfortable hotel and great location that’s a quick trip away from the Chattanooga area attractions Decent breakfast options, although there was a lack of pastry selections if you came closer to 9am (when breakfast closed) Lots of people staying, so swimming pool outside was packed

Room service knocked a little early (around 9am) which is not quite enough time to get ready to leave after an exhausting arrival from the road the night before Rooms were spotless though and room service did an excellent job!

Love this little place Room with double bed was a good size for 4 Rate of room was great

Breakfast was good Beds were firm but not hard Pool area was kinda small but doable I loved the steps at front because my young son is scared of water and there was a flat spot one step down where he could enjoy the water At his own speedIt is a pet friendly place but we werent near any loud animals Air worked great Bathroom was rather large and shower was good

The Trusty Notary

This hotel was clean and close to downtown We were able to take the free trolley to the aquarium thanks to the hotel clerk telling us about the free trolley The pool was nice my clods had a great time there

The lot where your car is parked is gated and can’t be walked into with a key or going through the lobby The room was kinda small but it was good for the value besides we only slept there Will def stay there again

I really enjoyed this hotel for a few good reasonsWhen you arrive, please don’t do like we did because we just didn’t know better Approach the gate but get close enough for it to open

You can enter the hotel from the parking lotTheir establishment is really cleanTheir rooms are very comfortableThey had a patio for the room we stayed inOne bedroom was apart from the other so privacy was good which caused us to relax moreDinner was really good Wednesday at the hotel and better than expected The meatballs were delicious! The vegetables were steamed to perfection The hummus was good with the pita chipsTalk about a really good breakfast They know breakfast and know it really well We had bacon cooked perfectly, eggs were cooked perfectly, and you can make your own waffles They had more to enjoy Staff had smiles on their facesA gentleman who worked the front had to do the dinner part and had the most pleasant smile He was really kindMany places are nearby to enjoy and a wonderful distance from Ruby Falls and other attractionsExtremely well kept hotel and they keep their grounds clean I actually saw someone picking up cigarette butts(By the way, dispose of them properly They shouldn’t have to clean up such mess because someone wants to be lazy If you smoke it then trash it correctly Stop treating folks like your servants)Great place so check them outThis is our place to stay for future getaways

Full fridge, a stove top, dishwasher, and coffee maker

my family of four loves to stay at staybridge for all the conventions we attend at the convention center Walk right out the door and across the street Staff are friendly and attentive Indoor pool and hot tub are well maintained as well as the gym Can’t beat an IHG breakfast buffet with REAL eggs and omelets, bacon and sausage that are fresh and not just reheated, fresh coffee, fruit, yogurt, toppings, boiled eggs, fountain drinks with the good ice, and three waffle makers There’s also a nice outdoor seating area I’m thankful for a comfortable place to stay that allows me the convenience of fixing my own meals to carry down to con Hands down will stay many more times!

Where to start

from the moment we walked in, until the time we left, everyone was wonderful! This staff at this location make it worth your stay Gunner was very welcoming & friendly Even though he was busy, he gave great customer service We didn’t have reservations but Gunner was able to quickly find what we needed He was very informative, able to answer questions and willing to help I probably could have asked him to unpack our vehicle and he would have That’s how nice he isBut wait, there’s moreYou must eat at the H20 lounge We were exhausted from driving and decided to eat in Everything we ordered was perfection! Thanks Jared, the food was amazing! Both Hunter & Scarlet took great care of us while we were eating Very friendly, polite and professional Their personalities make you want to “hang-out” all night I couldn’t have asked for a more friendly, happy, welcome to this hotelYes, the rooms are dated One of our televisions didn’t work The bathrooms are horrible Small Dingy This place definitely needs a “face-lift” along with new furnishings I don’t think its changed since we were last here twelve years agoHowever, none of that mattered The welcome greeting and customer service make you forget all about that After all, we just needed a place to lay our heads for the night, not like we were moving inWe had a wonderful stay Thank you Gunner, Hunter and Scarlet!!

Our stay at this hotel was not what I expected from a Hilton branch The check in was great and easy The front lobby looks spectacular but that’s all there is to it

The parking lot is super small and you will have trouble finding parking They don’t tell you that they offer additional parking elsewhere You pay 18 dollars for parking thats non reimbursed The rooms feel outdated and old Feel very stuffy The beds are not comfortable at all The ac unit of our king suit was so loud that it was hard to fall asleep I’ve stayed at many Hilton hotels but this was a first double tree and unfortunately will be my last

Jacob Garrett

We stayed for a night to see a concert in town but not very satisfied with the place The service was well but the room was not what was pictured, the shower leaked water into the room, soaking the floor and unsure if it was housekeeping or another guest but at 9am, two hours prior to checkout time, someone was able to gain access to the room and tried barging in If it wasn’t for the security latch they would’ve came in on my girlfriend and myself sleeping

The hotel is rated as a four star hotel but in my opinion it’s no better than your local motel with a few paintings on the wall and a bigger TV
