Just checked in The hotel is nice and clean, and the staff is curious and helpful We had an issue with the WiFi and the guy at the desk worked to get the problem solved

It was only his fourth day on the jobOn the second day in the hotel, we called early in the morning to have towels delivered and the trash taken out, the person at the desk said it would be taken care of Came back after a day of shopping, no towels and the trash was not removed, called the front desk and the young lady at the desk informed me if we wanted towels we would have to come and get themThe guy, now on his fifth day said he would bring them Seems the new guy knows customer service when those that have been here a while don’t understand what the Hilton Assurance is all aboutJust found out the hot tub does not workNow today the elevator is not working

My first room had a broken shower door and was on the very noisy interstate side of the building I requested a room change which was provided on my second day If you have trouble sleeping with a lot of vehicle noise, request a room away from the interstate (even numbered rooms)

Also had to extend my stay which was also approved quickly and easily Breakfast was basic and underwhelming, staff struggled to keep coffee out on some days

Very clean and welcoming environment including the staff – Cameron was incredibly helpful and friendly Room was surprisingly quiet even with the heavy door closes- we heard nothing from inside the room Well equipped kitchen and roomy living space

We could comfortably stay there for an extended visit I appreciate the refillable products in the shower as opposed to mini sizes that often get tossed after one use We did have a challenge with car charging but Travis, the GM, handled it with empathy and humility He appreciated the opportunity to learn more about electric car needs Overall this was an exceptional hotel stay

Amy Ciske

We walked inside to check in on a sunny day, we were offered water That was just the first minute of a fantastic stay The room was bright, clean and spacious

The front desk staff was genuine, friendly, professional and attentive to not just our needs at check in and check out, but also went the extra mile to create a fantastic stay! The breakfast was scrumptious with more than muffins and bagels Waffles, fresh fruit, coffee, cereal, yogurt and more The management was in sync with the staff, and it was so pleasant The genuine capable front desk staff made our stay remarkable I reccommend highly

The rooms aren’t too fancy, and it doesn’t have the amenities of “typical” hotel

but the employees are great and the location can’t be beat if you need to be near campus, the hospitals, or the cancer centerA nice quiet place to stay

Lisa Stewart

I have stayed with this hotel for over 15 years off & on when my daughter has treatments @ Primary Children Hospital & The University of Utah I made a hotel reservation months ago for us to come again The hotel staff made arrangements for wrong day

For Aug 16 not the 17th When I received email and saw wrong date I called to resolve the problem The gentleman that answered phone was very rude and disrespectful I asked to speak to manager and was told he was the manager Well to you sir : how you became a manager is beyond me I’m a single mom traveling with a sick child and making arrangements months in advanced for you to tell me the day before our arrival there is nothing you can do and it’s not your problem Thank you for hospitality and understanding

We loved the proximity to Temple Square but this place needs an update The carpet had a bad musky smell A door fell off in our bathroom and there was an exhaust smell on the fourth floor

There were dishes in the dish washerWe stayed here for two nights and the staff was a mix of nice and upsetNot very family friendly – probably would not stay here again

Taryn Drag

We stayed here for Valentine’s day weekend We had the 2- bedroom It was very pleasant! Very quiet, with a nice location right across the street from the temple

It’s not your standard hotel, as they are mainly timeshare condominiums, so don’t expect daily room service But it was a very lovely getaway for the weekend! The history of this building is very interesting Being an Utah resident now, but a history major originally from Michigan, I appreciated that there was a book in the room that gave a rundown of the Kimball’s significant role in the early pioneer daysThere is a small cemetery plot located on the grounds, which is worth checking out if you are a history buff like myselfIt is also worth mentioning, that they have a sauna and coffee lounge, but those are currently unavailable (feb 2021) due to the coronavirus pandemic

Stay was good Room was clean and quiet Better than the hotel that I stayed at last time I was in Utah

Location is close to gas station, stores and restaurants which is really nice Room has a really nice mountain view I like their scenic patio Breakfast is not bad Housekeeping people are super nice and friendly Complimentary water is nice but Hilton Honors recognition is lacking Coming back here in April though

Donna Brown

I do not recommend this hotel No one was at the front desk for our 10:30 pm check in We called the front desk as we waited to check in, and no came to answer the phone

A worker finally walked through the lobby to the front desk and did not offer an apology when we told him we had been waiting 20 minutes Our room had damaged items, dirty upholstery and frayed carpet Rips in the curtain were taped together; a lampshade was dirty and torn and the bench at the foot of the bed was heavily stained Carpet throughout the hallways was dirty and not adhered to the floor Breakfast was disappointing Our final bill was more than the price stated on our reservation due to an innkeeper tax I understand that staff may not have control over that; however, on top of the multitude of other issues, it amplified problems with this hotel I have never given a negative review before and always felt Hampton Inn and Suites have been a good choice, but this hotel was not

Jen Bergstrom

The rooms are much smaller than expected for the price The air conditioning is out It’s a bit rundown

You can hear everyone walking above you if they don’t tiptoe We spent over $800 for two rooms for two nights each That is more expensive than our theme park resort hotels we just reserved and they are 4 star hotels! Never staying here and I am asking for some of our money back for the air conditioning making our first night miserable!

Love this hotel! The rooms are comfortable and big We brought our baby who is almost 8 months for her first vacation The hotel kindly offered for us to borrow a sound machine to help her sleep and it worked great

They offered a crib too but we brought our pack and play crib The pool is well maintained and wasn’t too cold We brought our baby to try the pool and she loved it! Very nice staff 100% recommend

G&GC Properties

This is a nice hotel not too far of a drive from the airport The nearest grocery store is not to far from the hotel either They offer free breakfast from 6 am to 9 am

The staff are wonderful if there is something you need and they have it on property they will find it for you The room I had was very nice Large room to spread out The room had a fridge and freezer, kitchen sink with garbage disposal, and a dishwasher There is a ironing board and iron The unit also came supplied with eating and cooking utensils and a coffee maker There is a desk to work at and plenty on lights There are 2 televisions and alarm clock and a little dining kitchenette to sit and eat and a living room area and separate bedroom area The bathroomis a good size full bathroom with a walk in shower stocked with body wash and shampoo dispensers There are two closets in the unit I recommend the property if visiting Salt Lake City Also, the property has plenty of free parking around the hotel

Michael Palarchio

I would give this max a 25/5 We had a lot of issues that just can’t be overlooked in totality

I am surprised this hotel is rated over 4 given our experienceGood:Staff was very friendly and helpful The young woman working the front desk was very nice and none of this was her fault Large rooms, nice amenities, nice pool, EV charging a plus The hotel is newBad:Cleanliness needs serious improvement Crumbs and candy around the couch in our room, dirty facecloth left in the shower on the handle, back of the bathroom door had brown stains on it, hairs on bathroom floor Need to do better at thisBreakfast service was terrible There were very limited options compared to many other Hilton’s and I don’t think this is up to their standards by any means They had an omelette, no sandwiches until hours later, no baked goods, toast and bagels The batter was empty for the waffles for about an hour (I went back 3 times) Same goes for the coffee, there was a lineup of people waiting for coffee for over 30 minutes The breakfast service was just overall bad No lids for cups, out of basic cutlery, waffles were not appetizing even when they did come outAlso the coffee station in the evening was old coffee and barely warm water for the tea This is not my experience at any other Hilton propertiesOverall: nice property, good amenities, poorly run managed if this is the best they can do with a new building This place could be 4/5 if these basic things are done correctly

This bed and breakfast was perfect for my wife and I It felt like home rather than the very generic sterile hotel The home was beautiful and really showed the greatness of a home built almost a hundred years ago

It was very comfortable and quiet The staff was friendly The breakfast was better than any free breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel My wife and I went just to have a small getaway and this location was just what I needed It will be on my list of places to recommend and to return to in the future I suggest the French toast for breakfast, it was amazing

Britney H

Yes Yes and Yes I stayed here for 4 nights with my boyfriend and I have to say this is so much better than a hotel The service was amazing and the rooms are sparkling clean

The breakfast was the best food we had in Salt Lake (Try the lemon ricotta pancakes and the stuffed waffleso good )Coming back each evening felt like coming home The staff and super friendly and seem like all around good people Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome If we come back to salt lake we will definitely stay here again We highly recommend Inn on the Hill

Kim Dodds

We stayed at Inn On The Hill to celebrate our 20th Anniversary It was so fun to experience the history of the building, and we loved the quiet & peaceful atmosphere, even though it is really close to Downtown Salt Lake City We stayed in the Carriage House, which is a small detached building behind the main Inn

The breakfast in the mornings was delicious and all the staff were great! Probably not the best place to bring small children, but for a couple’s getaway I would definitely recommend it!

When we arrived, our door was open Thought it was strange, but We ignored it and continued on with our stay, at about 10 pm the room above us was running back and forth, slamming doors, jumping around, I finally called the front desk at 3am after me, my son and husband couldn’t take it anymore, the front desk walked up to the noisy room, I assume talked to them, but the sounds continued ALL night long until morning It sounded like a herd of elephants ALL NIGHT LONG

We are going through our day today with Zero sleep, as we have to drive out of state today We also had room service barge into our room 4-5 times I’ve had enough, We will never stay here ever again I understand it’s not the front desks fault for the sounds upstairs, but no one offered us ANYTHING for the inconveniences Highly recommend never staying at that hotel One of our worst experiences ever

Andrew

My girlfriend and I had been traveling and staying at Residence Inn and Towneplace Suites hotels for about a month when we stayed here This was overall one of the nicest Towneplaces that we’d been to, aside from the smells of raw sewage and cigarette smoke, and the terrible managementThis hotel gets a 1 star rating for holding up our check-in process without reason, and for non-communicative practices by their upper management, and even the property owners

*Warning: If sleep is a sensitive topic for you, skip the rest of this reviewCheck-in identity “verification”: We showed up here at about noon, coming from another Towneplace Suites on the other side of SLC I hadn’t slept in about 36 hours, and didn’t want to talk to anyone I wanted to check in and go to bedSo, I checked in via mobile check-in They didn’t issue a mobile key So, my girlfriend went in to the front desk with her ID, our confirmation number, and the payment card on file (which was her own debit card)The front desk declined to check us in, and said I needed to go in, or that I needed to call and add her to the reservation so that she could check in I used the Marriott app to chat with the front desk, and told them to add her to the reservation, and sent her back in with my physical photo IDThey proceeded to ask me some “security” questions via live chat, to “verify” my identity I would’ve been fine with this, if they had actually verified my identity, but they didn’t verify anything – they just wasted our time Every single question that they asked me could be answered with information displayed to me while using the app No 2FA codes, no password entries, no biometric scans Just switching tabs in the app The only thing they verified is what they already knew: someone (me, in this case) was logged into my Marriott account, and was using the Marriott Bonvoy app – the only way to live chat with the front desk at one of these hotelsThis held up the check-in process of 2 tired guests for about 30 minutes Keep in mind, we’re not new Marriott guests We’ve stayed 30 of the last 30 nights (more than that, really) in Marriott hotels, and this one-night stay was actually the one that bumped us up to Platinum Elite status The front desk could see our loyalty status, and still hassled usMy girlfriend providing the physical payment card on file that was used to make the reservation (her own card), plus her ID, was more than enough to “verify” usGet your processes in order, and don’t put on petty shows pretending to understand security, at the expense of your guests’ timeOn top of that, the room we were assigned to reeked of cigarette smoke Someone had smoked in the room, but the hotel didn’t restore it I asked for our night to be refunded at checkout, and I was assured it would be taken care of One month and 10+ contacts later, it still wasn’t taken care ofWhen I called the hotel for the general manager’s email address, the guy at the desk kept saying the phone was breaking up and he couldn’t hear me I thought it was me, but he eventually explained that the wire on the phone at the front desk is damaged What’s the front desk doing with a broken phone, in a building with 200+ corded phones? The email address I was given didn’t even workI contacted the business who owns this hotel (Western States Land Management & Development), directly, several times, and they completely ignored me Unfortunately, the only way to get this resolved was to report the conduct of this hotel’s management to Marriott’s corporate office If anyone else has a communication issue with this hotel’s management, I’d advise them to do the same This place ultimately should have their Marriott franchise license revoked for non-communicationI would not recommend this hotel

Nicolette Donavan

I had high expectations as we had stayed in other Marriott hotels and have always been impressed by how clean the rooms were, which is why we chose to stay in this hotel We got a room that was not clean at all and it was clear housekeeping had not gone through the room to clean after the last person This really made us very uncomfortable considering we travelled a long way, and their regulations during COVID are that their rooms are clean and vacant for 24 hours prior to the next person staying in that room

When we complained, they gave us another room thankfully, but even the new room didn’t feel as clean as it should have been and there was no way to be sure that they are following those regulations they were supposed to

very clean rooms with a full size refrigerator and freezer a full 12 cup coffee pot with coffee provided and paper cups i didn’t look in any of the cupboards because we didn’t cook in the room there may have been porcelain coffee cups as well along with plates and silverware but I am unsure we only stayed one night and was our 1st time staying at a myplace

Bed was comfortable everything was new and clean we definitely would stay again

The hotel and room it’s self aren’t bad, it’s just sketchy They have an extra $100 deposit fee at check-in which I didn’t see posted anywhere but right on the front desk Cool, we paid that and stayed there for 3 nights

The last night we came back to the hotel a little late and after making it all the way up to our floor and room, the keys wouldn’t work We went back to the front desk and they acted like they didn’t know we were in that room still and we had to argue with them for the keys to be reprogrammed since they had shut them off All of our stuff still in the room, and they were trying to deny us access to the only beds we have at 1 in the morning Over $400 for our stay (not including the $100 deposit) and I’m in shock because I’ve never even heard of a hotel doing this I planned to come back and use this hotel often, but not after this incident This made me feel really unsafe, and really unsure about being able to leave my items in the room when I leave to do things If they’re going to cut off my access to the room, who may have had access in between?

Nicole B

We booked through a reputable third party service and the staff told us there were no rooms available when we arrived Multiple other people in the lobby who booked through other services were also told their rooms were oversoldWe requested a refund and were told that we need to get one through the third party service

Then we asked if we could get documentation from them stating they didn’t have a room available to provide as evidence in order to get our refund The immediate response to this was “I don’t have anything to give you”When new guests showed up to check in, the front desk person proceeded to tell us to sit down instead of helping us resolve our issue We were repeatedly brushed off when we asked for updates I realize the staff member was dealing with a stressful situation but she was unnecessarily rude I can’t speak to the quality of the hotel itself but the customer service left something to be desired

We loved this place! From start to finish everything was perfect Our young girls (<10) fell in love with the hotel and staff Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and we are just a regular family

Decor was beautiful, classic but not ostentatious Room had everything we needed, beds were very comfortable and the view over the city towards the mountains as the sun set was incredible We ate at the Laurel – just amazing! They accommodated the kids and our allergies very well The food was excellent, and very reasonably priced Something for each of us – all empty plates and pleasantly full stomachs The girls especially loved the soup, and one really liked the salmon, the other the steak Our server was delightful! We had fun riding the bus and trains around town We took an easy 30 min bus ride to Mount Olympus, and ate at Rawtopia (highly recommend- very healthy organic & allergy friendly food and the kids ate all of it!) Had a nice walk around there tooThe hotel has two pools, so of course we had to try both The weather was a little cold for the first couple of days, so the indoor pool was the winner there Nice and warm, and not too busy On the warmer days the outdoor pool was lovely Plenty of loungers and attentive service The gentle piano or harp music in the lobby bar / restaurant in the evenings was a great way to soothe the girls The hotel was quiet at night so we all slept well Can’t really think of anything negative to say about it We all hope to be back soon; the girls still ask us to send their pictures to both the hotel and restaurant to say thank you!

This hotel was beautiful Chandeliers everywhere, an amazing flower court yard, multiple lounge areas

Simply beautiful You can pay $20 for them to do valet parking They really take care of you at the front This hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, bars, entertainment, and pretty much anything you want to do in Salt Lake city I attended a conference and they put together meals that looked amazing and gourmet The service was outstanding by everyone we met

Joanna P

High-end hotel with massive suite-style bedrooms, most of which have small balconies The bedrooms are decorated in quite a traditional style and look a little worn in places I stayed here for business but don’t think I would be willing to spend my own money as the nightly rate is very high for quite a dated hotel

The pool is a great size and has plenty of loungers The hotel bar also has a large drinks menu and great service Service at breakfast can be a little slow but the food was solid

1- limited pool hours, slide not open, hours not posted online The staff closes the slide every hour for 10 min during the five limited hours it is open, but then they don’t come back for 30 So it’s virtually never open

Also, they “manage” the slide line for safety, but really just play on their phone so the line takes FOREVER to get thru HIGHLY over-chlorinated Just being in the room your eye begin to burn2- you are only given three passes, and have to pay $10 extra for more, but only allowed two more, even if the people entering are fully clothed and there to watch the kids, not to swim But the hotel staff let in their large group of friends with no questions asked3- they tried to stop us from taking in my kids diabetic supplies We just ignored them and went in anyway4- After swimming they don’t let you take the pool towel back to your room We were told that if pool towels are found in your room, you will be charged extra So your dripping wet kids get to freeze their way back to the room after being promptly kicked out at 9pm And really, what hotel closes their pool at 9??When 9pm rolled around, the not-long line of kids who had been waiting 10 MINUTES to slide were told “too bad,” instead of the staff cutting off the line prior to closing They literally shut the gate in a little girls face5- when this concern of dripping all over the hotel and kids having to walk back while still dripping was brought up by another guest, one staff member also said to the one in charge “why can’t they take the towels?” The reply to either the staff member or the guest (I couldn’t tell which since they asked at the same time) was “SHUT UP” No joke6- breakfast is below average, even for a hotel7- the rooms are only just above a motel 68- the parking lot was DARK No lights, even at the front entranceBOTTOM LINE- If you are coming for the pool, don’t waste your money You’d be better off at a nicer hotel with a regular pool, while paying the same priceWill never recommend, ever Will actually actively recommend alternatives

This was one of the better Staybridge Suites I’ve stayed at The staff is very friendly The morning breakfast was very well put together

Very clean hotel I wish they could do something about the parking and the semi tractor trailers parking in the automobile lot it really constricted space They should make all semi tractor trailers Park in the dirt parking lot The Grins and fins and pool was a nice touch Maybe you could put a couple more items in the workout room because all that consists of is dumbbells and aerobics There was one staff person I was not completely impressed with as they seem to take a path at least resistance If you called from your room she would not answer the phone but if you called from an outside line she would answer To me that’s just unexcusable and people you don’t need behind the counter I’m a Diamond Elite member and she did her best to treat me as just a average customer Otherwise I enjoyed my stay thank you

Needed a room early and they were very accommodating Wife and I are in the process of moving and needed a comfy place to stay Rooms are comfortable and like they have a kitchen

Beds are plush, fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow Breakfast bar is great, see pics More to come, we will be here a few days Social Hour on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday are great Beer, wine, and some type of food was a big plus

We really enjoyed our three night stay here while visiting Salt Lake City The hotel includes free breakfast for all stays, and it is quite good The indoor pool and hot tub were a great place to relax

The parking lot was well lit and felt secure The hotel laundromat is a bargain at only 50 cents to wash and 50 cents to dry Kitchenette has full sized refrigerator and dishwasher, but no stove top The Kitchenette is stocked with dishes, Silverware and glasses as well as dishwasher soap I would like to acknowledge Daniella, from the breakfast buffet for excellent customer service

5 Stars for Friendly Service & The Softest Sheets/Comfortable Bed! I don’t know if I was just tired, but this quite frankly with its soft sheets (and the true room darkening blinds, functioning cool air,)could have been the most comfortable hotel bed/room I have ever slept in The dog too, was happy as a clamThis place might not be as close to the university hospital (if that is why you are here) BUT WAY BETTER than the Hampton Inn (I repeat, WAY BETTER)The ladies at reception could not have been more friendly and helpful! I appreciated their professionalism!

Livie

Service from front desk was excellent, but the rooms were beyond filthy and I was not comfortable sleeping in such a deplorable place Yes, from first glance it looks nice But oh how can looks be deceiving

We had to give all the towels back because they had VERY noticeable stains on them, the shower wasn’t cleaned, with stray hairs all over the floor, the fridge wasn’t cleaned neither the dishes We ended up sleeping in our clothesWhen you’re taking a trip across country and have been behind the wheel over 12 hours, you don’t have a choice but to take the one room available I got the heck out of here, the moment daylight break! I wrote the general manager over the weekend and he didn’t even cared enough to message you back That tells you a lot

Spent a lovely evening here a while back It’s in a great location with close proximity to the airport The staff was incredibly helpful and the free breakfast was a definite perk

The facility was clean and well-managed, and I didn’t have any problems with my room I would stay here again!I wasn’t here long enough to need other meals, but it didn’t seem like there were many restaurants close so you’ll either need to drive or order delivery from somewhere

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! After dealing with a friend’s delayed flight, we were in a panic to find a room last minute but Donna at the front desk made everything better!! She was such a joy and made sure that we had the essentials to get us by! If there were more people like Donna in the world, it would be a better place!! Thank you so much!! We highly recommend! Not to mention the room exceeded our expectations as well as the price!!

Tunning In

Place has alot of miscommunication issues and housekeeping and front desk could do a better job Long night cause its graduation week and instead of calling and informing us that its check out time they extended our stay and handed us a key In addition to that we left assuming our stay was extended and someone walked into our room put all our stuff in a bag and stole our suitcase

You would think that they would call the number on file or atleast wait til we get back No inventory was done when dumping and packing our stuff in a bag and they stated if we wanted to file a report we could instead of just checking their cameras to see what employee took our stuff

This hotel was awesome! The rooms and lobby are spacious, and very clean, the beds are extra comfy But the most pleasant experience of my stay here was my interactions with the*front desk night manager – ( Heather) she went above and beyond to guide, help me with taxi service and offer great recommendations on where to go in the city to make my stay here excellent She was genuinely kind and upbeat

I never write reviews but was compelled to do so today I will be recommending this hotel to my snowboarder friends that come here every year Including myselfThank you Heather!-JR (from Massachusetts)

First time experience at this particular Homewood Suites in Downtown SLC We traveled there for a comedy show at Wiseguys and chose to stay nearby We are Hilton fans so picked this one as it was within walking distance

The hotel was well appointed, clean, rooms were clean and crisp, we were at an end room so no noise, the room had great amenities and perfect for anyone staying for several days, fully stocked kitchen available, separate seating area, desk, TV and dresser, king bed, toilet & shower separate from vanity Breakfast was good, several items to select from depending on your preference Coffee, tea, juice all available Staff professional and personable Highly recommend this place for location, and all that I mentioned above

Amanda Dingman

We booked this particular hotel because it is downtown and we wanted to be able to walk from the hotel instead of getting a cab everywhere with our 1 year old baby There is a homeless shelter on the block next to the hotel and they have taken over the street that walks downtown Two to 3 police cars are there during the day but don’t seem to be there at night

The hotel allows the homeless people to hang out in there entryway and harass you as you walk in They also lock the door to the hotel and so you’re stuck in the entry with them until you get your key to work We saw a fight break out in front of the hotel and another day there was an arrest happening It feels very unsafe and we did not feel safe walking especially at night Hotel is nice but I wouldn’t stay here again I would not recommend if you want to walk from your hotel

We enjoyed our stay here Hotel rooms were nice and well kept Our bathroom had a roomy shower with glass doors

The free breakfast was great The staff were welcoming and helpful It’s close to the airport and downtown We rented a car, but honestly it may have been better to just Uber since all we were doing was going downtown We had to pay parking every time we went down there So I’m not sure how much it saved us since we just went down town for a conference all day and kept our parking at one location There were lots that were $20 and others that were $10

JameZ Bee

This is just a great place to stay The rooms are very clean and up to date Mattresses are good

The staff is very attentive, great customer service And the location is conveniently right off the freeway, but not so close that you hear it in your room There is plenty of parking The pricing is a little bit higher than other hotels in the area Not significantly higher But then it’s nicer than the other hotels nearby as well

Kate Swensen

Staff is really helpful and friendly they were the best part of our stay Room cleanliness was okay If you’re going for the pool I wouldn’t classify it as a water park, much smaller than it looks in photos

The Poole cleanliness wasn’t great either Be sure to know kids under 48” can’t ride the big slide which was a letdown for my kids who were just under that My kids had fun but we probably won’t be back

Pretty good location with easy access from the airport and interstate Staff is friendly and the hotel is generally okay The place is dated and it does show it’s age to some degree

My wife and I stayed two weeks here and it definitely wasn’t the best stay we ever had but it was acceptable They have a standard continental breakfast every day but no waffles or pancakes The rooms are fairly nice but nothing special Our microwave was old and the platter no longer rotated making it hard to evenly warm up food Our fridge didn’t have a freezer section but was cold enough to freeze water unfortunately There is also no temperature adjustment on said fridge The room did have a nice couch, chair, and table to allow for working from the hotel room The hotel internet was acceptable but we did bring a cellular hotspot to work from The bathrooms are small but look okay The shower was cold about half the time so I assume the water heating boilers cannot keep up with the typical demand from the guests Last but not least our sheets were dirty when we got into the room I definitely wouldn’t stay here if you want luxury but it’s cheap and doesn’t have bugs so it’s not all bad

Amber Dailey

Check in went fine Got to our room, it was decent Left for our concert then got back around midnight

Went to go to bed and pulled the sheets down to reveal 3 long hairs and 2 short hairs in my bed Called the front desk and they said they could move us to another room It’s midnight I’m not going to move to another room in the middle of the night after I had already unpacked all my things Had to be demanding that they come and make the bed with new sheets They finally did and I could finally go to bed Also when I finally laid down you could hear someone stomping around upstairs until 3 am I will not stay here again Not just the hair but the fact you can hear others in their rooms The manager gave us $25 off our stay I guess something is better than nothing but we will not be staying here ever again

Gabi German

Customer service: I said “good morning” or “hi” to more than 5 front desk employees and they didn’t say back All of them standing next to a “be kind” sign I found it sarcastic

Good location, easy access to train and restaurants all around itClean and confortable

This hotel was great! Only stayed one night, Sunday into Monday It was so quiet When I checked out he worked at the desk commented about wind and rain, I didn’t notice a thing

The room was spacious and very clean Has a nice kitchen with a fridge, microwave, utensils and the like Water was hot in the shower and the bed was decently comfortable, more firm I would recommend

Todd Krause

We have stayed at a number of Residence Inns as we like the extra space On the plus side, the hotel is centrally located in Salt Lake City, the room had a washer & dryer and the staff is courteous On the minus side, the room was quite dated and the couch was uncomfortable to sit on

Our room keys stopped working in the middle of our stay and had to go to the front desk to get new ones There was wine spill in the reception area outside of our room that was there for two days Finally, I requested a late check out when I arrived The woman at the front desk said this would be no problem Unfortunately, they did not have any record of it Housekeeping started knocking on our door every hour after 10:00 am asking us when we were going to leave I told the front desk that we would be leaving at 3:00 pm and was told that would be fine The housekeeping kept asking us when we were going to leave It is doubtful we will stay at this property again

Anthony Pemberton

Clean rooms and easy check in Nice proximity for value to the Western Wildlife Expo at the Salt Palace The two bedroom suite is great with a 2 year old

Plus of space and an extra room for naps and getting ready having two bath rooms Pool was empty? Breakfast on Saturday ended at 9am Everyone was helpful and polite Will stay here again

Clean room that smells good, fairly quiet and has good AC that wasn’t loud The only thing I didn’t like was the outlet situation near the bedding and the very sharp metal light fixture right above my head where the headboard is Breakfast is nice and not grab and go like many hotels recently past pandemic

Very nice breakfast area And staff is very friendly Room is very spacious and has a separate seating area from the bed, which makes it feel quite nice

Howard Roth

First night our toilet overflowed They had the security guard give us towels to clean up Asked for a mop and disinfectant, but by 2AM (started at 9:30) they gave us a different 1 bed room (we needed 2 beds)

The people below our room had issues with their bathroom too The night clerk provided very poor service and struggled to do anything The security guard was quite helpful and empathetic The next day we got a 2 bed room and they credited the night from hell, which was expected 4 days later we asked to get our room cleaned, as we needed towels, etc after so many days Came back at night and nothing was done Finally got some towels that evening and they cleaned the room the next day, our 5th day at the hotel Cleaning was done well Rooms are pretty clean The rooms are dated though, old curtains and furniture But clean is always more important to me Everyone that worked at the hotel was very pleasant, which helped us get us through the week

Paul Xiong

The hotel facilities are nice and clean The gym is one of the best with everything including rowing machine! The pullout sofa bed is much worse compared to Hyatt we stayed The mattress on the pullout bed is as thin as paper

Room was noise from left right and top 😂Breakfast is also one of the best The only one has freshly cooked oatmeal and cooked to perfection! (we stayed 3 different hotels in SLC) The chef was super passionate about the customers and food He came out talking to folks every day during our stay

It was nice and has a great location If I could review the other customers I would not give a great review because the lobby smelled like pot when we arrived and they had cases of beer out making it feel like they were going to be there a while and we were invading their private party We loved our room and customer service was awesome but we didn’t get good sleep with so many guests making noise all night through the seemingly thin walls

This would probably be a great place if you are a night owl, I really needed my sleep for travel and liked the convenience of this location being downtown

Ryan Saunders

Location is everything here, we were going to a jazz game and were able to just walk there I even had to walk back because you couldn’t take bags into the game, and it only took about 5 minutes walkingThe room was nice and clean

Breakfast was good This was our second time staying here and will most likely will be back in the future

Cee GeeBee

We had a great night here before our flight out of SLC The room was the perfect setup and is really conducive for longer stays There was a kitchenette, a living area, the bedroom, and nice bathroom

Very quiet and adequate breakfast in the morning We’ve had great experiences with the Hyatt brand and would definitely stay at a Hyatt House again!
