We were given a handicap room which we didn’t need The room smelled like the boys locker

It was next door to the laundry Very humid and musty Tried to get another room but they were booked Maintenance put a dehumidifier in the room, it helped some Finally able to switch rooms 2 days later Refrigerator making loud noise Maintenance fixed it Finally had a decent room Would not recommend rooms near laundry on first floor They know this room stinks but they still put people in it 1 star for me

This is located near multiple restaurants (both local and national chains) and stores which is helpful if you forget something or are there for a long term stay It’s also on a public transport route and near the highway The room was clean and didn’t have any weird smells like some hotels can have in the room or the hallway

I liked that there were real dishes and a dishwasher in the room even though I didn’t use it Check in and out happened quicklyNext time I am in San Antonio this will be on my list of places to stay

Jersey

Anybody can walk right the front entrance without questioning and no greetings either They just started locking the rear doors, so that good They were left unlocked before

Their housekeeping service has to be more considerate They play loud music as they clean neighboring rooms I had to work nights and I kept waking up during room cleaning days due their loud music This should not be allowed at all It is not professional Thin bedroom and bathroom walls when you share the corner rooms with the vestibules, so don’t take that room You’ll regret it

Sarah Swoch

Its a hotel as you might expect from the chain They didn’t seem to clean rooms daily, but they were clean to start It was close to the rim restaurants

Not as close to the pool Breakfast was tasty with cereal, quiches, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, and packaged waffles Staff were kind and helpful Theres a nice grill outside and a solid bar inside

John

The customer service here is excellent Everyone from the river staff to the lobby and restaurants and the valet was super friendly and helpful Troy at the valet was very nice and remembered us as he was helping with our car and luggage

The kids loved all the hotel activities throughout the day but mostly loved the lazy river My only recommendation would be to have an inner tube for large adults The ones there will only support someone up to 180 lbs, any more and you’re capsizing Can’t wait to go back!! Thanks for a great stay

Heather Sides

The property was beautiful We stayed in one of the patio rooms and it was so relaxing nestled under the great oak trees The service at the golf shop was great and they took care of us so well

From storing our bags and getting them onto the cart, to the well-manicured course and greens, and the friendly staff who made playing here a wonderful experienceAnd a special thanks to the staff who made our dining experience the best The food was great, particularly the fajita dinner on Sunday Big thanks to Janie and TJ who made sure we had everything we needed Our drinks were never empty and the plates were cleared the moment we finished It was hard to believe we were at a buffet And Janie made us feel like old friends But after 24 years at the Hyatt, she just knows how to do that We hope to see you all again next time!

Rachel Lorance

Staff was nice! Rooms & restaurants were great! The lazy river was great except there was not enough chairs or tubes for everyone The next morning we got there early and realized that people stacked all their tubes and placed their stuff on their chairs before they go eat breakfast We ended up finding a spot and some extra tubes

So, get there early! They have a Starbucks and a general store there, I bought little blowup tubes for the kids and the young boy at the pool area went to blow them up for me That was great! Overall, it was a fun weekend!

We enjoyed our stay at this Homewood Suites The location is excellent and close to Sea World It also is conveniently by lots of options for shopping and restaurants

Our room was a King bed with a kitchenette We made a few light meals and snacks, which was awesome for when we just didn’t feel like going out The breakfast in the mornings was typical and adequate to get our day started I definitely would stay here again if I came to visit San Antonio again!

Malcolm

Best service I have had from a hotel in a while Friendly staff, clean facility, very family oriented! I think it should be considered a 5 star hotel really!!! Definitely glad I chose this place

recommend to anyone traveling with family!! I will definitely be coming back oh and the breakfast served was completely amazing… prepared by staff who really care about what they are serving ppl 🙂

Cedric Norton

I believe this is one of the best extended stay hotels 🏨 from the time you come in the customer service is excellent The suite has plenty of room and the bed is very comfortable there 2 types of pillows on the bed one is very soft and the other is more firm There are two washers and two dryers $2

25 each but one dryer was out of order the whole time I was there The gym is perfect for people to get a light workout but if your looking to go heavy you better look at a temporary membership at one of the local clubs, there is a pool though small but not far from Sea World or other water parks The location of the hotel is perfect 54th Street Bar & Grill is right down the street within walking distance and Target and Walmart are very close as well as other restaurants and stores Great place for a conference or family reunion This is a must stay

The Homewood Suites by the San Antonio Airport was the best hotel I have stayed in First of all, our room was immaculate Everything was very clean and orderly

Next, the service was incredible We ran out of towels on day three and called for some more They came to our room immediately with fresh towels and an amazing attitude Additionally, the food was so good Usually, I don’t expect much from hotel breakfast’, but this one had everything I needed In the morning and at night, we really enjoyed using the exercise and pool facilities Everyone there was so friendly and helpful All of the guests at this hotel were just so kind and pleasant I will definitely stay at this hotel again!

Hello Itsme Bear

It is not what I expected for the brand name “Hilton”, the price & as a gold member The customer service was good & the rooms were spacious & niceNow the cleanness was not quit there

The elevator doors were damaged & buttons were filthy, not something that should be overlooked especially during these COVID times!I doubt the bedsheets were changed as a pillow case had a horrible brown stain on it & there were what appeared like pubic hairs between the sheets 🤮 The shower had mold & the shower curtain stains The glass turn table in the microwave was missing which caused our popcorn to cook uneven (The cleaning staff should be supervised!!)The fridge was a good size for those with extended stay The breakfast was really sad & tasted horrible There were apples turning brown in the fruit bowl, not very appealingThis Hilton hotel had more of a Best Western type feel to it, definitely not what I was looking for

S Morris

I read a bunch of reviews before booking and was unsure of what to expect during our stay Many of the reviews complained about the staff and cleanliness of the hotel During our 3 day stay the staff was friendly and helpful

The room was clean and well kept We booked a 2 queen studio and the space inside was incredible and plenty of room to spread out Even though we did not use the kitchen it was spotless including the refrigerator The gym was perfect for being on the road with a cable machine, free weights, bike, treadmills, and elliptical machines My only suggestion for the hotel is to replace the pillows because they are worn out comfort wise I stay in a variety of Hilton properties and I would definitely recommend this location

I would actually recommend this hotelThe only reason I won’t go so far as to rate it a 5 is the property conditionThere are a few things that need some replacing or addressing

Such as new curtains, properly securing the AC window unit and replacing the doors that had been damagedWith that said, I still stand by my rating The staff were professional AND very friendly I felt very welcomed They were also very quick to accommodate any issues that was addressedBecause the staff was so friendly and accommodating; I’m inclined to believe the other rooms are probably in better condition than the one we had

Vero Aguilar

Will definitely return! Hotel from the outside looked kind of old but inside it was so nice Rooms were very clean Sheets smelled extremely clean as well! Front desk staff was very welcoming

Only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the shower freaked me out, it squeaked so much & the floor moved around I was afraid the shower go fall The breakfast had bagels out to toast but no cream cheese available We stayed 2 nights & we didn’t get room service after the first night so we had to ask for fresh towels But I will definitely stay again Great area

Jessica Edwards

Staff was amazing and very professional There is a few maintenance/upkeep things that need addressed such as better AC, curtains, and the most recent elevator inspection inside the elevator but the overall stay has been better than expected The jacuzzi in the room is a great addition

This will be our go to hotel every time we visit and will be recommending to other friends & family The location is perfect as well!

Eric Ekes

Hotel condition was inadequate and my vehicle was broken into during my stay When I contacted management (Hotel GM Robert Cantu III) about the issue they were complacent and essentially blamed me for the break-in while skirting all responsibility The room condition was deplorable and almost unlivable

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with kitchen and living area The room was clearly not fully cleaned or prepped for our stay In both bathrooms I found multiple instances of mold and rust throughout the showers and the ceilings were covered in mildew or mold type substances In the single bed room the bathroom was in horrible condition The toilet was filthy and covered in excrement and other fluids and there were used towels and soap left out as well as the body wash dispenser being empty All of the closet doors barely functioned and appeared to be broken To use them I had to very carefully lift them and run them along the tracks There were multiple visible repairs to walls that were poorly covered up and several cracks throughout the corner and ceiling joints The sofa bed had some sort of residue all over it that made it unusable for fear of contamination and there was no dish soap present to wash the dishes we used during our stay

Colleen Williams

The manager is the reason I will not say any negative because he was friendly and helpful but I will provide some tipsI would like to say the housekeeping staff needs a refresher on the upkeeping of the rooms because some areas should have more attentionSome minor room renovations will be a plus

(Pillow-top beds)Breakfast was okay, more options will be a plus My family doesn’t eat pork but that’s all the type of meat they had availableOverall, I will stay again because free breakfast and free parking are huge savings in our current economic position (Inflation!)Green flags:Free ParkingClose to SeaworldClose to many restaurantsIndoor poolLocation is perfectBreakfast area niceThe outside area is nice (very nice at night if you choose to sit outside)Low guest noiseSpacious rooms

Here me Now! You have been warned As of July 24 2022, they need MAJOR updates Cleaning

Everything just looks an smells horrible It was Too late to get our money back… but i wanted to leave The furniture and carpet in our room smells and you can visually SEE THE SWEATY GREASY dander etc from idk forever Arm on the sofa looks so gross I covered it with towels Sprayed everything with Lysol and said multiple prays that my family didn’t get sickAs a family of 4, we always look for a hotel that allow us a closed door away from the kids Residence Inn has never let us down until now😞Also we stopped in multiple cities The last Residence Inn … just decided we don’t need the room we requested since we didn’t get their call 2 hours before, an they gave our room away Forcing this family of 4 to share a 1 bed roomResidence Inn this 1 week multiple city trip would have been a 10, not having a clean place for my family to sleep made it a 3

I was there for 3 days and 2 nights I stayed here because I had not read anything negative on them at all My visit was to see my son graduate BMT at Lackland

The hotel was wonderful, it rained the day of graduation and I saw a sharing locker on the hotel lobby They had many things you could sign out, use and return before you checked out So, we borrowed 2 umbrellas The office was staffed with only one person many times I went by He was super friendly and accommodating They don’t service rooms if you stay less than a week, but if you ask for something they’ll gladly get it for you My parents met me there and we asked for rooms close to each other, he put us right across the hall The rooms we very nice, full size fridge, a stove, dishwasher and sink The bathroom was very nice, but put a hand towel down before you get in, it is very slippery My dads tub wasn’t draining very good so we reported it and when we came back later in the day it had been fixed People had mentioned having a tough time sleeping due to freeway noise, but I was next to the freeway and it wasn’t much of a problem The first night I was very cold and had the heater at 78 I realized I had it set to on and not auto Once I changed it, it was fine I would stay here again

Ebony Gonzalez

I absolutely loved our stay here The breakfast was some of the best I’ve had in a while, the rooms are spacious, and it had a kitchenette The only downside were the bed and the room being next to an elevator so we kept hearing a rattling noise from the elevator going up and down (room 406)

The bed was very firm and I tossed and turned both nights we stayed But you can’t beat being so close to the river walk and how easy it is to get to the hotelParking is a building away from the hotel so make sure you park in the designated 15 minute parking while unloading your belongings You’ll need a key to get into the parking area and make sure you don’t forget to hang up your parking permit

We had a great time at this Wyndham location The staff was friendly and helpful, the common areas and our room were very clean we enjoyed the pool table and gaming table The roof top pool in the 6th floor was awesome

It has two 3ft deep sides and the middle is about 4ft The hot tub was great They also have a small shallow pool on the side very private and great for little ones They had daily things in the lobby like one day they had ice cream pops, chips, juices and sangria and the next day breakfast pastries and coffee The location is great, it has direct access to the river walk It’s a nice walk, about 10 mins to get to the restaurants My only con is the parking The only option is Valet parking for $22 a night You can come in and out as much as you want My issue is that you have to wait for them to bring your car and if you leave something in your car again you have to wait I just prefer to have access to my car at all times But the valet employees were very nice Overall we loved it and wouldstay here again

So our first night, we arrived later than expected, the TV didn’t work BUT they fixed it first thing in the morning The breakfast was good, the room was excellent The room was nice, we had a king studio

It was spacious, had separate seating space if we wanted to watch TV, with a full-sized refrigerator Nice bathroom with excellent pressure on the shower and the temperature was great too The service was fantastic, just an overall nice experience for the 4th of July holiday weekend Thank you for a wonderful experience

This is a solid choice for a hotel There are many eateries close by and it has quick access to roads to get around the city The staff are friendly and helpful

The rooms are well accommodated and the bed was comfortable The only single complaint I have with the room is the lighting in the bathroom Shaving is a challenge with the low soft light Otherwise this is a location that I would stay at regularly when I travel to San Antonio

Shannon M

Loved this place, just like in the pictures Rooms were clean and very spacious, little kitchen (no stove) microwave, sink and fridge Bathroom clean and very spacious, had extra towels already in room

Air conditioner keeps the room at a great temp Beds are awesome The pool was great looked just like in the picture Close to all kinds of stores and restaurants Good parking Staff was very nice I will definitely stay here again

First time to stay at this hotel but definitely will not be our last We had an amazing time here the amenities were excellent Breakfast was delicious

The rooms were clean and spacious The staff was helpful and kind We were even fortunate enough to meet the owner of the hotel and he was very kind and respectable man Our children loved that there was board games available to them and a nice pool and grill area Overall was a wonderful experience

Austin Hanson

I had the opportunity to spend a work week here The staff we kind and courteous and welcomed me in every time we came inI particularly like the extended stay rooming

I did not have any dish ware with me and the fact they provided utensils and the sorts was greatThe bed and pillows were very comfy I slept like a rock every nightI sis not have any issues with this place at all Hopefully next time I’m back down, work will set me up in a room here again

Alison Jean

My husband and I stayed here for one night, and the experience was alright Check in took forever, as the computer system kept freezing The lady working the front desk was curt and almost rude, and I’m not sure if this is her normal state or if she was just having a really rough day due to the computer system issues

The room was nice enough- it was thoroughly vacuumed and wiped down, but definitely in need of deep cleaning There were stains on the chairs / couch, and mold in the grout of the shower (see picture of shower) The bed was comfortable and room was quietI gave 3 stars due to the uncomfortable check-in experience and the room needing to be updated / deep cleaned Otherwise, it was a good stay I don’t think I will be back though, since there are so many hotels available in the area

The home was lovely with each room a little different We stayed the the Kerry Suite which had access to the front balcony and a side reading room The clawfoot tub was lovely and roomy and the provided heaters which took the edge off the coldish room

The house has creaky stairs and think walls so it could be very noisy with the wrong guests but, everyone was considerate the night we were there The proprietor was so lovely and friendly and was available 24/7 The continental breakfast was a little sparse but overall we loved out little babymoon

Great hotel! I’ve stayed here twice, and I love it The suites are clean, spacious, pretty and have everything you need: full kitchen, bathroom, living area, and the most comfortable beds you could ever imagine! The staff is kind and helpful and the location is good, surrounded by restaurants and shops I love that there’s noise insulation in the rooms, so you can barely hear people in adjacent rooms, this is so important to me

Between that and the amazing beds, you’ll sleep like a baby! This is by far one of my favorite hotels ever, and it truly feels like a home away from home Thank you

First time to stay here and our experience was great Friendly service upon arrival Rooms were very spacious, comfortable beds, liked idea a sofa bed was included in room so were able to sleep even more comfortable a group of 5

Also they’re equipped with an actual medium sized fridge, microwave, dishwasher (didn’t use tho) Location here has great access to many restaurants, stores, everything you may need is close by Won’t doubt staying here again

All in all a great place to stay if you need to feel like your not in a hotel room We are new to the area and needed a temp place to live waiting on a house It was just what we needed

Large rooms which were clean, in room microwave and large fridge Sadly they did not have a cook top for my family but they do have grills out back to use Plus they have a decent breakfast bar every morning Staff were friendly and responsive You do have to request full service if you want your room cleaned They do thier best not to disturb the guests Would definitely stay here again

Front desk people were super nice The hotel just needs a little care Rented two rooms

One had no hot water in the shower, which they fixed upon notification, but doesn’t cleaning staff use hot water? All four keys would not work after the second night, so had to get new keys Refrigerator/freezer was loud Bathroom door would not latch It was clean and the bed was comfortable

Been here 4 weeks and I have never gotten a full Housekeeping done They asked me when would I like it done cause I stay 2 weeks straight for work and I picked Wednesdays , but they only come to fo my towels We have over 8 employees staying here and I’m seeing if we all can get moved to a different hotel

House keeping is the worst I have ever seen
