The hotel is decorated nicely The staff was inadequate The hotel was not equipped

No towels when needed Not enough towels for the number of guests in our room No linens except the ones on our beds No roll out cots in the hotel The sliding bathroom door would not stay closed No water pressure in the shower Tried to check in at check in time and was told no rooms were ready The pool was cool, shape of Texas, however it was green waterThe food sucked! Milk was sour Apple juice was bad They were out of all condimentsI will never stay in this hotel again nor will I recommend it to anyone!

Vehicle was broken into in broad daylight at 930am Hotel staff was less than helpful Due to safety concern especially for those that are traveling I would not recommend

Nothing of value was in sight to spark thieves interest We have stayed here before without any issues but will not be returning-not necessarily because of break in but due to the lack of concern/customer service from young hotel staff In response to the hotels claims the video was shown to us only in partial not given to us No one yelled at any of the staff and it is well within our right to post a review as any other customer can I also did not say that to the staff but to my husband The police were called and report was filed Detectives will be in touch with your establishment And thank you for blocking us as we had no intention of returning The benefit of San Antonio being a tourist city is there are plenty of other lodging options(many with a higher level of concern for the publics safety) Given the response from the hotel I am very glad this is a public forum so all possible lodgers can see what they may have to experience first hand and the manner it will be addressed Picture is worth a thousand words as they say and given the other poor reviews travelers be wary! Thank you for your concern vehicle has been detailed and window has already been replaced

The gentleman at the front desk the night of March 13 was lovely We were dragging coming in at 1130pm and he got us all set and promptly checked in He was very kind The lady doing breakfast the next morning was alone but did a great job keeping the breakfast area clean and stocked

The room was clean and spacious The beds were very comfortable! We had a great night of sleep Highly recommend

Julie Garza

We booked a room online because our air conditioning failed in the middle of a heatwave When we arrived, we were told that even though we had prepaid for the room we couldn’t have the room unless we paid for an additional night We were exhausted, and hot and needed to put the baby to bed, and so we just paid it

The room was very worn Chairs worn down to the stuffing, enamel worn off of the tub There was no hot water for my shower We let the baby sleep dirtyThe next morning we woke and started getting dressed We realized that the carpet was so filthy that it was turning the bottoms of our feet/socks black Not mildly dirty, but black like it had never been cleaned We all put our shoes on and kept the baby in the strollerWe were able to rush the air conditioner repair in our home, and went home while the house cooled At least we can let the baby run around hereWe got a partial refund from the online booking and got a call from some unidentified employee asking why we got refunded They thought we were still in the room even though we checked outButthe ac worked

I stayed at Comfort Suites at 1754 N Loop 1604 East San Antonio When I pulled out the sofa bed the mattress has stains on it looking like dryed BLOOD and I guess, maybe the guests tried to clean it but when blood dries and you try to clean it, it’s like a brownish stain My grandson’s look at me in shock

The wall had a blood stain on it And their was mold in the window seal I immediately contacted the front desk they told me there was nowhere else to put me because the hotel was full A gentleman brought me up a rollaway bed for my grandson’s to sleep on I had to clean it off it was Dusty very disappointed as I was checking out on March 17th I stopped by the front desk to showed the manager the pictures again, he told me that he would look into it but housekeeping so far nothing else has been done I’ve called Choice Hotel’s to file a complaint and they told me that they are going to investigate it I’m expecting some good results from this because that was definitely unnecessary I wish I can post the pictures on this review website

We loved this hotel!! The staff was very friendly, especially George He went out of his way to let us know we could check in at our earliest convenience (rather than the normal check-in time) Our room was clean and comfortable and we both slept wonderfully

Breakfast was what I would normally expect of a complimentary breakfast We loved it here and will definitely be visiting again in the future!

Darolyn Dann

Overnight desk clerk was VERY UNHELPFUL and acted like he really hates his job Our reservation through Hotelscom had issues and a single bed was booked instead of a double

Tried to appeal to hotel right after room was reserved, and the clerk (Yogi?) refused to assist with moving rooms, told us to book directly next timewhen he was telling us no is the only time you could hear satisfaction in his voiceWe went to the car to try & make calls & find alternatives to our reservation My husband needed to use the restroom, so he stepped back in the hotel to use the lobby bathrooms He asked where they were, the clerk directed him to them However the bathrooms were locked When my husband asked him to unlock the restrooms, the clerk looked him in the face and asked if he had a reservation and was staying with the hotelPetulant clerk, horrible customer serviceAt no time did the clerk attempt to assist in anyway, even seeing a family with kids Nothing offered as far as roll away beds, extra blankets for a floor pallet, nothingThis is someone that should not be in hospitalityIt was our first time using this hotel to visit family that moved recently to the area We are making sure all our friends, coworkers and family in the area know to avoid this hotelTry La Quinta next door instead!

Nice hotel, but not a Plus It is a normal Best Western We stayed at a Best Western Plus in Pecos Texas which was awesome!! We thought all Plus’s were the same, apparently not

Pool wreaked of chlorine, which is not sanitary, so bad my eyes burned walking by it Overall it is a good place to stay Beds were comfortable, shower stream was strong and the breakfast was good

Nice and clean Well taken care of property, good staff! Breakfast left a bit to be desired

seriously you guysupgrade your offerings Did you know there is an Automatic Pancake maker? Really, there is! Do it right, do the Buffet style, like the other top flight Hotels I would give it a 3 Star, but I’m feeling generousbesides, the staff was outstanding!

We stayed for 4 nights and had a mixed experience Upon arrival the receptionist was fairly rude We came for a wedding, and the parents of the groom paid for hotels for the entire wedding party

However during check in we were told that although they had taken the credit card info of the parents, and that they had authorized payment, they still wanted the physical card as well as an “authorization form” In truth it felt like we were being stereotyped in a negative light, and that the receptionist may not have done this to an older white couple, but had no problem doing it to a young dark skinned woman and her partner We spoke with the groom’s parents about this later and they said that they’ve never had a problem like this before when pre-paying for their friends and family It actually upset them enough that they may cancel their Hyatt membership In addition, the first night we checked in at 2am, and thus had no reason to have the cleaning staff come clean the room the following morning However, the remaining 3 nights we did not put the sign on our door (which asks the cleaning staff to come back later) and yet our room was completely untouched and uncleaned Aside from all that the room itself was more than adequate I especially appreciated the strong air conditioner

Zac Johnson

André and Cecilia were quite wonderfully accommodating to my best friend and me She had a surgery and they saw us walking slowly across the lobby and offered a wheel chair promptly They gave us complimentary water as well

Unfortunately I was too tired to ever make it to breakfast The male housekeeper that I kept seeing on the 1st floor was always busy, everything smelled good when he was finished and he used wet floor signs responsibly The room was clean Great experience! Book them if you’re having elective plastic surgery in the area and need somewhere to heal

The Homewood Suites by the San Antonio Airport was the best hotel I have stayed in First of all, our room was immaculate Everything was very clean and orderly

Next, the service was incredible We ran out of towels on day three and called for some more They came to our room immediately with fresh towels and an amazing attitude Additionally, the food was so good Usually, I don’t expect much from hotel breakfast’, but this one had everything I needed In the morning and at night, we really enjoyed using the exercise and pool facilities Everyone there was so friendly and helpful All of the guests at this hotel were just so kind and pleasant I will definitely stay at this hotel again!

Hello Itsme Bear

It is not what I expected for the brand name “Hilton”, the price & as a gold member The customer service was good & the rooms were spacious & niceNow the cleanness was not quit there

The elevator doors were damaged & buttons were filthy, not something that should be overlooked especially during these COVID times!I doubt the bedsheets were changed as a pillow case had a horrible brown stain on it & there were what appeared like pubic hairs between the sheets 🤮 The shower had mold & the shower curtain stains The glass turn table in the microwave was missing which caused our popcorn to cook uneven (The cleaning staff should be supervised!!)The fridge was a good size for those with extended stay The breakfast was really sad & tasted horrible There were apples turning brown in the fruit bowl, not very appealingThis Hilton hotel had more of a Best Western type feel to it, definitely not what I was looking for

S Morris

I read a bunch of reviews before booking and was unsure of what to expect during our stay Many of the reviews complained about the staff and cleanliness of the hotel During our 3 day stay the staff was friendly and helpful

The room was clean and well kept We booked a 2 queen studio and the space inside was incredible and plenty of room to spread out Even though we did not use the kitchen it was spotless including the refrigerator The gym was perfect for being on the road with a cable machine, free weights, bike, treadmills, and elliptical machines My only suggestion for the hotel is to replace the pillows because they are worn out comfort wise I stay in a variety of Hilton properties and I would definitely recommend this location

Birthday staycation ruined!!!I only come here for the jacuzzi tub But after sleeping in and being accosted at the door in my underwear I quickly got dressed and vacated the room

Upon checking out I was questioned if any smoking took place in the room, which I didn’t But that let me know how he intend to steal my deposit Sorry for being Black and liking the best you have to offer

The bathroom was dirty and had no soap and a cockroach flew at us in the room but employees were kind and helpful, also everything worked and the beds were comfy enoughWasn’t the best experience but I understand they might be understaffed like every other business in Texas

First time to stay at this hotel but definitely will not be our last We had an amazing time here the amenities were excellent Breakfast was delicious

The rooms were clean and spacious The staff was helpful and kind We were even fortunate enough to meet the owner of the hotel and he was very kind and respectable man Our children loved that there was board games available to them and a nice pool and grill area Overall was a wonderful experience

Austin Hanson

I had the opportunity to spend a work week here The staff we kind and courteous and welcomed me in every time we came inI particularly like the extended stay rooming

I did not have any dish ware with me and the fact they provided utensils and the sorts was greatThe bed and pillows were very comfy I slept like a rock every nightI sis not have any issues with this place at all Hopefully next time I’m back down, work will set me up in a room here again

Alison Jean

My husband and I stayed here for one night, and the experience was alright Check in took forever, as the computer system kept freezing The lady working the front desk was curt and almost rude, and I’m not sure if this is her normal state or if she was just having a really rough day due to the computer system issues

The room was nice enough- it was thoroughly vacuumed and wiped down, but definitely in need of deep cleaning There were stains on the chairs / couch, and mold in the grout of the shower (see picture of shower) The bed was comfortable and room was quietI gave 3 stars due to the uncomfortable check-in experience and the room needing to be updated / deep cleaned Otherwise, it was a good stay I don’t think I will be back though, since there are so many hotels available in the area

The room and the grounds felt clean, safe and secure The customer service was nice The laundry room was clean

And the shower pressure was great The only downsides were there are not many extras like you have to pay for dishes, there’s no gym, and no office center Oh and you can hear everything through the walls I could literally hear my neighbor snoring Oh and the sheets were thin Overall for the price I paid this place was nice and satisfied the important things

Christopher Bergan

The rooms are very clean and safe The common areas are also very clean, the hall floors look like they have been spit shined Rooms are well equipped for short and medium stays

The facility is very well run, good management/ leadership, every person I have encountered at the front desk/maid service has been polite and helpful Highly recommend Also great place to stay if you are a dog owner, multiple areas to walk your dog and a pet clean up station literally every 20 yards surrounding the building

Mark Bellinger

After reading some great reviews, I checked in to stay for a few weeks

that ended up being eight months! A GREAT place to live my new home away from homeOne of the first things you will notice is that this extended stay hotel is NOT clean it is IMMACULATE! Outside of a hospital, I’ve never seen such a spotless building, both inside and out The housekeeping is done in your room every two weeks, and it is EXCELLENT! There is also a dumpster behind the building where you can dump any extra trash you have to get rid ofAll tenants will be given an electronic “key” This will open your door as well as entrance and exit doors around the facility Your door and most doors in the building will automatically lock The exception is the fire escape doors by the stairs, which are unlocked by lawThe utilities WORK! The AC/Heating units work, nice hot water all the time, electricity never gets shut off, (unless there’s a city-wide power outage) The building is relatively new, built in 2019 Oh, and take my word, you will be hard pressed to find ANY insects in this building!!They welcome pets, but be prepared to clean up after them there are plenty of pet stations outside to do this I am not a smoker, but one thing to keep in mind this is a NON-SMOKING facility!! You can smoke outside (there are plenty of smoke stations), but it is prohibited inside the building In fact, you can even be fined for doing so FAIR WARNING!The management and staff do a wonderful job with customers during checking in or out, and they are great in dealing with any issues their tenants may have Also note that someone at the front desk can be contacted 24 hours a day if there is an emergency or other issue! If you end up staying over six months or so, make sure you are paying on time as much as possible you will be rewarded with great deals!!!Here is a shout out to all the OUTSTANDING folks who make this hotel THE BEST!!MANAGEMENT: Cindy Hernandez (General Manager)Amanda Morris (Assistant General Manager)FRONT DESK: NoelChrisJetaimePatriciaHOUSEKEEPING: AdrianaElenaCynthiaMAINTENANCE: AldoTreyI cannot thank you all enough for the wonderful experience at WoodSpring Suites! I was very thankful for my stay here This is an honest review! The rooms were immaculate and ALL STAFF was GREAT! Check-in was effortless and breakfast was the best part of the day! I know that others do have different experiences sometimes, but my expectations were more than satisfied! Even though the hotel was extremely busy due to it being summertime, the noise level was low I will be returning back and this will be the only hotel I stay at while in San Antonio!

Lissette Teran

My family and I stayed for 2 nights and we enjoyed our stay The rooms are spacious and clean We loved the complimentary breakfast! It’s a reason why we chose to stay here so, please don’t get rid of it

The happy hour is also a great bonus! The pool is a bit small, but not a deal-breaker Parking was accessible, with plenty of parking space We will be staying here in the future again

Mark Budro

Stayed here for work related purposes Not bad overall, but have had a few issues They seem to be having card key issues

Lots of people I am here with constantly have to go to the desk because their card key will not work on any doors The room is spacious, but dated The phones are ancient, and the buttons on them don’t work well The phone goes to speaker on by itself sometimes Caulking is coming off the bathroom sink, and the sink is just a single free standing sink in a huge bathroom No place to put anything at all No counter space I have had trouble getting hot water twice since I have been here Reported and staff They were prompt to check it out, but stated water was hot There wasn’t even any steam It was lukewarm at best Parking is an issue for as many people as they have here, and our company has had vehicles broken into, so beware The shining star is the atrium, and the free breakfast The breakfast is excellent The Atrium is very nice Hotel was very clean Staff is attentive and friendly They have a limited lunch menu, items like you would find at a barbar food TV remote in living room stopped working AC in room works well, and curtains block out all light when drawn, for those working nights My company paid for probably 60 rooms, yet I still had to leave a deposit on my personal credit card in case there were damages Was not a fan of that This hotel is right by the airport, so there is some airport noise at times, but it has not been too bad

We stayed here one night The location is great, with easy access to the airport and expressway The customer service was good, too

But the building is old and the contents inside feel that way, too The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable and the tub didn’t drain properly I had to take a shower in standing water I also didn’t get much sleep, either, due to how uncomfortable the bed and pillows were This building is in need of a serious upgrade

DeWitt Senter

To begin with we were given two rooms without a sofa sleeper, when we had specifically specified a 500 sq ft suite Secondly one of the air conditioners in one of the rooms was not working and our family spent the night feeling hot and sticky, they did bring in a fan lol 😂, sleeping in the car would have been more comfortable The second night after a long day out we came back to our room and discovered there was something missing, to which we called the front desk immediately and not only was the receptionist not helpful she was rude and did not make any attempt to come speak to us directly, informing us that housekeeping would not be in until the following morning

(Marriott is a big name, sadly this establishment does not fit the repertoire of other Marriott establishments we have frequented ) I will be reaching out to corporate about all of the issues we encountered during our stay, as I am sure they will be eager to know about the failure of compliance of the employees here I will mention that the manager in charge upon our initial check in was very courteous and apologetic for the room mix up, sadly the other employees failed in comparison

In San Antonio training for 3 months The room I got is very spacious with all basic amenities I need Almost like an apartment

The free breakfast is a great plus! My favorite thing that sets this hotel apart from others is the parking It is completely gated and you have to use your room key to open the gate I always worry about my Shelby GT500 when I have to park overnight somewhere but I sleep much better knowing it’s almost as safe as if it was in my garage at home!

Management was wonderful to my family and I The breakfast lady is so down to earth and she always go the extra mile for everyone The room felt like home and housekeeping is so amazing

The pictures are not updated Yes it is a kitchen and they provide dinnerware and cooking There is a dishwasher and they provided everything you need to wash dishes The sofa bed is uncomfortable so I recommend getting a foam pad They keep the area clean

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here! It was priced really well per night compared to other hotels in the area and it has a full kitchen! Not a mini fridge and a microwave listed as a “kitchenette”

A normal size refrigerator, stove, microwave, and a stove top! We got groceries and had absolutely no issues getting all the cold stuff to fit inside the fridge and freezer! That made us very happy! The check in process was nice and smooth We made our reservation on the Bonvoy Marriott app, so we just had to show our ID and swipe our card at check-in After a day of traveling, you want an easy check-in like that! We didn’t have any issues getting a cart for our belongings either! I hate it when you have to wait for a cart to finally become available, so I liked that they had enough carts!Loved the room! It was furnished nicely and there was plenty of space for all our clothes and everything else The room we were in had a huge closet for a hotel! Usually they give you about a foot and a half to 2 feet worth of closet space, but this one was about 6-8 feet! LOVED THAT! It would be super easy to stay here for an extended stay! The bed was soft, yet supportive too! So I was out like a light and slept like a log! It was fantastic sleep! We had gotten groceries, so we never tried the breakfast so we can’t speak to that What really made our stay so wonderful, though, was the people! Every employee that we spoke to was super nice and accommodating! This hotel proved that San Antonio is capable of finding employees that understand hospitality and customer service! 5 star stay here! Thank you so much!

Great hotel! I’ve stayed here twice, and I love it The suites are clean, spacious, pretty and have everything you need: full kitchen, bathroom, living area, and the most comfortable beds you could ever imagine! The staff is kind and helpful and the location is good, surrounded by restaurants and shops I love that there’s noise insulation in the rooms, so you can barely hear people in adjacent rooms, this is so important to me

Between that and the amazing beds, you’ll sleep like a baby! This is by far one of my favorite hotels ever, and it truly feels like a home away from home Thank you

First time to stay here and our experience was great Friendly service upon arrival Rooms were very spacious, comfortable beds, liked idea a sofa bed was included in room so were able to sleep even more comfortable a group of 5

Also they’re equipped with an actual medium sized fridge, microwave, dishwasher (didn’t use tho) Location here has great access to many restaurants, stores, everything you may need is close by Won’t doubt staying here again

All in all a great place to stay if you need to feel like your not in a hotel room We are new to the area and needed a temp place to live waiting on a house It was just what we needed

Large rooms which were clean, in room microwave and large fridge Sadly they did not have a cook top for my family but they do have grills out back to use Plus they have a decent breakfast bar every morning Staff were friendly and responsive You do have to request full service if you want your room cleaned They do thier best not to disturb the guests Would definitely stay here again

We had a fantastic time at this hotel! I love that they have a parking garage connected to the hotel which makes you feel more safe as you come and go The rooms are very clean and smell great The staff are fantastic

The hotel is close enough to enjoy all that San Antonio has to offer without feeling like you are right in the middle of SA chaos! They have a weight room and a pool with two jacuzzi tubs If ever in the area again, we will definitely check this hotel out again!

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any stay This website will compare thousands of booking web sites and typically will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This hotel is the best rated in this area

I’ve been coming here for a long time If you stay for a few nights you for sure won’t be disappointedEverything was clean Employees were all super nice Free breakfast and dinner buffet Nothing over the top, but good Would like a little bacon with my eggs instead of sausage patties, but you can’t win them all Nice garage parking and 3 free drinks per night

We needed a room quickly, as in a coupled of hours on Father’s Day due to an AC problem at home We were found a room that was ready immediately Chris greeted us as if we were family at the front desk

We were told that breakfast was available daily And that 5:30pm was kickback time with drink pass and dinner We never had to leave the property an asset due to the extreme heat The entire staff was helpful, friendly, caring, and made our stay very pleasant considering the reason for the stay We plan on joining the Drury Hotel program and using it in the future for family visitsThank you!
