I say this with complete honesty that is undoubtedly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in We entered to a large parking lot with plenty of space (Tesla and handicap parking as well) and took in a huge Christmas themed building The inside is decorated from top to bottom with Christmas decor and has the most wonderful scent of the holiday season

I thought the trees may be dusty or tacky but everything was truly clean as could be and very in styleThe rooms were beautiful and immaculately clean! I’ve never stayed somewhere so clean and polishedEvery morning you can visit with Santa downstairs and enjoy a wonderful complimentary breakfast that features an omelet bar, waffle station, continental buffet, and more Sit outside and enjoy the beautiful courtyard!Every evening there’s complimentary cookies at the front desk and coffee/lemonade served daily all day in the lobby Try their signature flavor, you won’t regret it!We absolutely cannot wait to come back to the amazing gem of a hotel

Michael Meehan

We have been staying here since it opened 15 years ago It’s always been a five star experience My kids say they love it more than the Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons

The indoor and outdoor pools are fun with the slide Free coffee and lemonade all day Freshly baked cookies every day at 8pm The two room suites are especially nice with a kitchen and large Christmas tree

Bryon Edwards

Over the top beautiful place No matter what time of year it is celebration is in the air I highly recommend coming anytime of the year

Currently celebrating my 22nd anniversary and we were given a special gift and lots of kindness The room is extremely nice and clean The balcony view is gorgeous Staff members are friendly and there are plenty of activities throughout the day to do

For some reason, everything in our room felt wet It also had a very moldy smell I left out a ticket stub and it was damp the next morning

I was impressed by how clean the microwave and fridge were, but we were given no bags for our ice bucket which had hair in it Pools are open late and looked clean Side doors are supposed to be locked at 11pm but when I arrived back around 1am each morning, they were unlocked Hotel is within walking distance (less than 5min) of a brewery/restaurant, movie theater, and fun center Breakfast was larger than normal It had both a large inside and outside dining area Staff very polite Very quiet

Taya Bullock

Just stayed 4 nights at this hotel, once checking in we ended up having to switch rooms because the smell of mildew was so incredibly strong The new room was better but we weren’t able to run the AC unit very much because the mildew smell was so strong We eneded up buying a candle to try to help with the smell when it was on

Customer Service – The young women at the front desk and the breakfast room attendant were so friendly!Cleanliness – The first room we checked into had a fake finger nail right on the bathroom floor The rooms really need a good vacuum The edges on the carpet were filthy The cupboard holding the mini fridge was extremely dirty and needed wiped down The shower curtain, window curtain and lamp shades all had black mold on them and the chairs had stains on the fabricOther than the cleanliness the hotel was a good place to stay, great location close to shopping, attractions and restaurants The indoor and outdoor pool option was great for our kiddos

Rheagan Buckner

Our room was so clean And service was phenomenal We booked our room online on booking

com In the description it said there would be a balcony When we checked in we went to our room down the hall on the first floor to a room with no balcony just a window facing the backside of the hotel we went to ask if there were any other rooms available and what i believe was the owner offered us a king suite to keep his word about having a balcony we will definitely be staying here again

We stayed at Hidden Mountain East, at Bear Ridge and had an absolutely amazing experience! The cabin was beautiful, it was very clean, quiet, and peaceful The hot tub worked and was amazing The office staff was very friendly, polite, and professional

(Their office was also decorated so beautifully 😍) They were also always very prompt about trash pick up We did have a couple house centipedes but, being in a cabin in the woods, we weren’t shocked and it didn’t damper our experience in the slightest The stairs were definitely a bit of a workout after a little while but, with all the good food we ate we were thankful to be able to work some of it off🤣🤣🤣 I just can’t say enough good things about this cabin, this resort, and our experience! We also really enjoyed the pool at the resort! It was very nice This was our first family vacation and our family didn’t want to leave Thank you, so much, for such an amazing experience!🙂 I was nervous after reading some of the reviews and I was beyond pleasantly surprised! You can’t make everyone happy and people are more willing to report the bad experiences over the good ones So, I definitely wanted to let others know of our wonderful experience! We will definitely be returning in the future!🙂Also, be aware that there are some pretty steep hills We had read about them from the reviews but, we’re still taken back by how steep they are But, we quickly got the hang of navigating them and all was great 🙂

Nicole DesOrmeaux

Great location and we enjoyed our cabin! Roads were a little steeper than we imagined but we finally got the hang of it! Clean and the staff was very helpful Prompt about picking up trash too Make sure to pack toiletries, extra toilet paper, paper towels and I suggest bringing extra washcloths from home too

Overall, a great experience for our family vacation!!

Kathy Rainwater

Far enough out of town it is quiet, close enough that it is easy to run into town and get in the action Easy to find our cabin when we stayed We have been to GSMNP twice

The first time we stayed in another companies cabin and we had to search to find it again every night No problems like that here It is gated, also, pool, nice grounds Clean, quiet, comfortable and sweet neighborhood like settingstaff is very hospitable

Had a wonderful opportunity to have an inside look of the luxurious units they have with Wyndham You can’t go wrong with Wyndham They basically have everything a family needs while on vacation

Spacious, comfortable, and entertaining for the whole familyThe units vary in the amount of space by how many rooms you need to accommodate your family My words alone can’t explain the look and feel of the rooms when you walk inWe had our kids with us on vacation when we the chance to look at the different rooms and options that Wyndham had to offer

DisneyDingDong222

This shares with the wilderness at the Great Smokies which is where I left my main review but just wanted to leave a little one here and say that this was a great stay The rooms were clean The hotel has a lot of amenities The location is fantasticMy only complaint would be that they do kind of get on you about doing the 90 minutes meeting to discuss their timeshare if you are not a current member This was a late wedding gift to me and my husband from my stepmother and my father as they are the owners of the timeshare so we went and stayed as their guests

Full disclosure we own a timeshare with Disney and we are not looking to add any more so I was very clear with them that I was not interested but they kept calling anyways and that’s fine but just a heads up for anyone else

Randy McCleary

This was our first time staying in one of the presidential suites, and they were super nice compared to the standard rooms The suite was super spacious, the washer and dryer was full-size, the kitchen had lots of room The presidential suites here face the golf course which is really nice, but we wish they also had some that face the Smoky Mountains

The last time we stayed there we had one of the upper level rooms that had a great view of the Smoky Mountains

If you want an amazing smokey moutian experience then look no more Janice is the nicest person ever and has a little slice of paradise We stayed in a beautiful cabin, hiked on breath-taking trails and got to see and pet all her farm animals

It was such a peaceful kind experience and we only stayed 1 day! We will be back for a longer stay, for sure Thank you

I never write reviews but have to after our recent stay (just left today!) Our trip here was life changing for so many reasons, but it is one that we will never forget The value of hard work was reinforced in our kids and they loved every second of doing the farm chores (even woke up voluntarily at 6:30am to do them 🙌🏻)

We fell in love with all the animals, with Miss Janice, and the other family who stayed at the farm with us We have done our fair share of traveling the world and country but this probably tops the list of best memories we will have together as a family I am sure my kids will never forget it God sends us where we need to be, and I’m sure He had his hand in this It was perfect timing for us I’m so grateful that Janice was willing to share her farm and way of life with us Thank youuuuu!

Jason Keith Ganley

I was looking for a cabin that had a fire pit and some water nearby Just a walk up the driveway and there’s a fire pit, a pond you can swim in, fish in, a little boat you can float around, and picnic tables, it’s like camping and staying in a cabin with amenities all at once Owners are really nice and it was a great getaway

There are dogs and cats and goats and pigs and animals roaming free all over hoping to come back! A great place to sort of get off the grid!

Chad Pettingill

This place was stellar! We thoroughly enjoyed our cabin, the Little Bear Lodge It was perfectly on-theme with great touches and lots of privacy We had a wasp nest above the hot tub but after an after hours call, they came the next morning to take care of it

Thoroughly impressed with their dedication to giving us a great stay I wish we could have enjoyed more amenities but Pigeon Forge and the national park kept us way too busy Would definitely stay again 100%!

Donna Miller

Loved everything about our stay at this resort The staff were super friendly and the grounds meticulously kept Our cabin was clean, spacious and fully equipped

“Southern Splendor” My grandchildren had so much to keep them entertained from games, pool table, arcade games and hot tub We enjoyed our hikes around the property and time at the pool There was so much to do on the property and in the surrounding area that a week was not enough time I would love to return but, next time I would prefer a cabin with a sunrise or sunset view Although, view was nice, it could have been better We were also pleasantly surprised at the visits from a mama bear and her two cubs at our relatives nearby cabin My sincere gratitude to the staff for making our family reunion so enjoyable and memorable!

K Jane

We stayed in the “sunrise-sunset” cabin for our honeymoon The kitchen was perfect and up to date! The decor through out was so cute! The whole vibe of this place was the perfect way for us to relax We were happy we could bring our dog down to the resort with us

It rained one day and the wooden paths were perfect to keep the mud off of her paws We are excited to come back, we already have our next trip planned I think the price was good for the amount of privacy and wilderness you receive here! For the comments complaining about bugs, wilderness, and terrain…these are mostly private cabins on the side of a mountain If you don’t like these things, you might not have fun! A cozy cabin is an amazing way to get away from the busy, fast paced world we live in!

Overall one of the nicer places in Knoxville Located in a good area within walking distance to all the attractions of downtown Lobby is nice, but certain employees were rude

Was downstairs and lady demanded that I show her my room key While I was looking for it I explained to her what room number and last name, she continued to rudely demand to see the room key It was a little awkward being that there were other people there but she continued to watch over my party the entire time Housekeeping staff was all really nice The rooftop bar is set up nice and the happy hour from 5-7 was a good deal for the price per night The breakfast in the morning was possibly the worst system I’ve ever seen It’s almost like a school lunch line, with a nasty red haired lady screaming at everyone as soon as you enter the breakfast area (which doesn’t have enough seating so you’ll be forced to take your food to go even though there’s an entire balcony section closed off) Without failure every time we went to get breakfast this woman would be yelling either at my party or another party Was disappointing to wake up to Overall rooms were clean and beautiful hotel just some of the staff def need customer service training

Amber Bush

The best part of this hotel is the catering and events staff We were hosting my sister’s wedding and the gentlemen who oversaw the catering as well as his team were absolutely amazing They were also the same team that was serving breakfast the next morning

They were INCREDIBLY helpful and accommodating They made up for the check-in experience that we had I cannot speak more highly of the catering and events staffI will say the elevators were the worst part of my stay Several of them did not work so the wait to take an elevator was extremely long We often took the stairs since we were on the 4th floorThe view from the rooftop lounge was beautiful and was perfect for outdoor photos Breakfast was great (also because of the food service /wait staff) and so was the happy hour optionWe had a king suite and it was spacious but we did find some leftover snacks & receipts from the previous guest in the drawers I would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity

Tiffanie Reed

I travel a ton with our gymnastics team and I am in charge of booking rooms for our staff This was the best embassy suites we have ever stayed in! Totally top ratings across the board Breakfast staff was so welcoming and went over and beyond to accommodate our needs

So clean! Very NEW hotel You will definitely get a good nights sleep in those comfy beds too I’m sure I can speak of 100 more things, but definitely the way to go in Knoxville, Tn Thanks staff for an awesome experience

Stayed here for a couple of days One of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in I had a king jacuzzi room with a balcony over looking the river

The room was nice and super clean! They came in and cleaned the room, changed the sheets, left fresh towels The jets in my jacuzzi didn’t work, but that didn’t bother me I would stay here again and highly recommend it to others Front desk staff was nice also My only complaint is not a lot of parking

Chris Wheeler

Booked for a quick weekend getaway with my wife We were able to easily book a room last minute The Inn is centrally located to all the shops and attractions you would like to visit

The rooms were very affordable Check-in and out were very simple, friendly, and hassle-free The room was very clean, and the balcony view was nice We loved having a hot breakfast and coffee each morning to get the day started Was able to relax in the evening and catch the Final 4 games after a long day The parking lot is a bit small, but in our full-sized truck never had an issue finding a parking spot, there is overflow parking near the river behind the poolMy only gripe would be that the mattresses were very firm, too firm for our liking But, not a deal-breaker or something that would ruin a weekend Can honestly say we were pleasantly surprised Very welcoming and accommodating Would not have known it was a 2-star hotel based on our experienceOverall, very good experience for us Would recommend a quick, enjoyable stay Thank you

We have been staying at Oak Haven for 18 years The cabins are always very clean and decorated beautifully The resort is so beautiful as well

You always know what you’re getting when you stay here The staff is always very kind and helpful The rates are more reasonable then some of the other companies near by If we could recommend one cabin that is out of this world with Mountain Views and somewhat private it would be cabin 81 3 bedroom 3 bath and absolutely gorgeous!! You will not be disappointed!

L R

We were looking for something that had the secluded feel but still close to everything for our anniversary – Oak Haven delivered It was easy to book, and the staff was very kind We stayed in cabin 99 and the view was great

This cabin also has an upstairs pool table which was so much fun The cabin was clean and had everything we needed I would highly recommend for your next couples or family trip

The room was very clean and well stocked I love that there is a full refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a 2 burner stove top There are pots, pans, and dishes so you don’t have to worry about having any anything to heat up leftovers

The shower had good water pressure The room has a sofa and desk and 2 bar stools in the kitchen area There’s plenty of seating However, the bed was firmer than I would like It wasn’t bad or too uncomfortable, just not what I personally prefer The complementary breakfast is really good They offer eggs, breakfast meat, fresh fruit, make your own waffles, as well as juice, coffee and milk The parking fee was about the same as other hotels in the area Out of the 3 hotels I’ve stayed in downtown Knoxville for the past few years I would recommend this one because of the amenities We had a great stay

This is a great hotel, with the most fantastic staff! You receive a friendly greeting every time you walk back in the building From the front desk people, to the Bistro, to the cleaning staff, they are the most beautiful people The breakfast crew not to be left, are amazing, friendly and always take the time for a little chat

Really nice place to stay, great location, nice staff The rooms was huge & very roomy! The beds/pillows was actually comfy & the free breakfast was actually good as well Loved that most of the rooms had a balcony as well

The bathroom was cool, it had the shower etc in 1 room then the toilet in a room by itself in there! I’d called to make sure they had an open pool working at this time and they said yes but just a few hours later when we checked in, they said the pool was broken and it didn’t open up the entire trip we was there so my kids was pretty upset about that Other then that 1 situation, it was a great place to stay

Matthew Shell

We loved the hotel It’s in a great location Staff is friendly

Beds are comfortable Having a balcony was nice Breakfast is very good, better than most choice hotels(Comfort Inn, Sleep inn, etc) Excellent pool hours, as this is how hotels should be; open til 2am Nice indoor/outdoor pool area The hotel is currently working on the pool slides, but the pools are still open

Mark R

This hotel exceeded my expectations I stayed during the week and the rate as a choice member under $80 I’m sure it’s higher on weekends and during the tourist season

The hotel and room were very clean The room a little larger than most by today’s standards And the small balcony appreciated The hot breakfast was nice and typical My only complaint is I wish the coffee cups were larger If you’re headed to Pigeon Forge, include the Clarion in your search

Fantastic stay! This was a family vacation and we chose this location because of not only the amenities at the hotel offered but also the location to the Smoky mountains and the attractions around itFirst off the room was super clean and had everything we needed it was a two bedroom with a view of the pool Beds were fairly comfortable the showers were fantastic water heated very quickly and got nice and hot

The kitchen was super spacious and the kitchen table was nice and big fit all of usThe hotel itself offered an indoor water park and outdoor water park The outdoor water park was only open one of the days we were there since we were before the season really started I was aware of that before our stay so not a big deal and the day it was open was fairly chilly so we didn’t actually take advantage of it However we did go to the indoor water park almost every day and my son had a blast They had some neat attractions and my son loved all the splash areas and pool area for the little onesThere is also an arcade with some things to do a restaurant a candy shop etc Didn’t take advantage of like the mini golf or anything like that my son’s a little too young for that but we did take advantage of the arcade and he had a blast with that he can’t really play the games but he thinks he is and he had a great time with itThe location is Great especially if you’re staying for a lengthy amount of time and want to bring groceries there are several grocery selections right down the road and you’re only 30 minutes out from all of the major attractions in the Gatlinburg areaPigeon forge is even closer it’s just a fantastic location I highly recommend it to anyone wanting something that has a lot to do on property but also gives you the option of easy access outside of the property

Location was nice since it was outside of the really touristy area Room was very basic but good for what was needed We didn’t have the greatest experience considering there were ants in the room

Maintenance did take care of it, but when the issue was brought up, there didn’t seem to be much urgency to try and resolve the situation There are 3 main buildings there so be aware of this There is a shuttle that will take you to the main building with the indoor water park The front desk staff didn’t seem to be the friendliest and appeared to be some issues getting along with each other and helping each other outThe water park, both inside and out was nice The staff inside the water park were great Plenty to do in the water parkWould definitely recommend the water park portion (they do offer day passes), but might give it a second thought if staying there overnight Hopefully our experience will want the standard

My family and I have been visiting since 2013 and we love it here! This year we rented a Villa and it was beyond our expectations! The townhouse was very spacious for the 7 of us and it was equipped with everything we needed The shuttle service picked us up and brought us back which was and added bonus My children love the attractions and the restaurants available at the facilities

We have a great time every year and look forward to our next visit!

I never have high expectations when staying at hotels and I rarely ever get good sleep but this hotel was excellent We arrived late -1 am- and climbed right into our beds They were so comfortable! And the blankets were warm and slightly heavy which I really liked

It was quiet and I was able to sleep great except for the alarm clock going off at 6 am My 2 girls shared a bed and fell asleep within minutes and slept right up until we had to wake them up which is a miracle The shower was also amazing! Probably the best shower I’ve had in awhile because my shower at home sucks! All in all it was a great stay!

Good hotel to stay when you have dogs No additional pet fee Safe outdoor area to walk dog because it’s out of the way of the main road, but not too far that you’re away from gas stations/restaurants etc

Non smoking Clean room, clean bathroom I know some other reviews complained about it, but for us it’s so far so good Staff is friendly and we’re glad to see that the continental breakfast is back We drive between NJ and TX a lot and we were here in 2020 too and back then they switched to giving breakfast bars, yogurt, and a fruit We didn’t use it but the pool looks clean too Friendly front desk staff We only stayed for a night, but they have a notice that says for multiple night stays, they only clean your room upon request

AvoidAvoidSeriously…

AVOIDFirst off, the room we stayed in was disgusting The tub had dirt in the bottom of it The air conditioner smelled like a mixture of sick dog and mildew While we were sleeping (second floor), someone had taped our window up for painting Well before checkout in the morning So someone was able to peek in directly on us Also beware if you have pets The vent on the side of the tub was not secured The screws on the bottom were stripped out so it was like a doggy door straight to the inside of the tub Definitely a safety hazard Will never stay here again I’m sure there will be a response from management with no resolution like the other reviews on hereDon’t waste your money here

The interior is due for a renovation, the hallway carpet feels old and the elevator is a little worn down Everything else about our stay was fine from service to room cleanliness The hotel even offers complimentary breakfast which was nice to have

It is tucked into the woods off of the parkway so you don’t get a lot of the traffic noise which is a great bonus

I was very unhappy with our recent stay in Pigeon Forge at Hampton Inn I try to seek out Hilton properties when I can, because I have been pleased in the past This particular property was terribly overpriced

It was $383 for one night for a standard king room The room was dirty, and the air conditioner was very loud, to the point it interrupted our sleep It was not a pleasant experience, and I would not want to stay at this particular hotel again I did not report these issues, because we were literally only there long enough to sleep and shower Just a one night stay I was asked to post a review by the hotel, which is why I am writing this Since I did not report our issues, I would not have complained But since I was asked, I decided to be honest

We had a really good experience here We travel for cheer and have stayed at a lot of hotels over the last few months and this was by far the cleanest hotel we have stayed in Normally I notice dirty corners in the bathroom or tubs, dirty sheets, hairs, etc

there was none of this The common areas were also very clean Our room was spacious with plenty of storageThere was also good counter space in the bathroom which makes it easier to get ready Breakfast was great and had a good variety Staff was super friendly from the front desk to housekeeping/maintenance We had a little issue with water temperature/pressure but it wasn’t anything we couldn’t deal with We will definitely be staying here again

Because the staff was so friendly, I am giving this Holiday Inn two stars overall Otherwise, it would have been one starPros: Good breakfast, and very friendly staff

Location is good with several restaurants within walking distanceCons: This place is really dirty and needs a thorough scrubbing As soon as we got off the elevator, we noticed that the hallway carpet looked as if it hadn’t been vacuumed recently – lint, toothpicks, etc Once inside the room we discovered food on the floor which appeared to be quarter sized pieces of bacon We requested and received a new room The new room was in better condition, but we soon found that it was still not clean We discovered that the tile floor was filthy We dripped some water on the tile and my wife wiped it up with a washcloth Just one or two swipes across the floor left gray blobs on the cloth Upon closer inspection, you could see the the dirt on the tile I noticed that several of the towels had permanent stains Maybe from being placed on the floor? There are also electrical safety concerns There are strips of indirect LED lighting above the beds at about eye level I noticed that there were exposed wire nuts which connected two of the LED strips I do not know if these wires were connected to a 120V source of if the LED strips are powered by a low voltage source Either way, exposed wiring is not acceptable A child standing on the bed could easily reach the wire nuts If they unscrewed the wire nuts they could get a shockI’m attaching photos of the washcloth and exposed wiring to this review so that you can see yourself I would not stay here again
