The worst guest service I have ever encountered in my life My family had just experienced an electrical fire in our home so we had to make a last minute reservation here My father, who booked the reservation, stayed behind to speak with the first responders and our now traumatized dog

We arrive to an extremely rude concierge refusing to allow us in, demanding that my father arrive to present ID After explaining our dire situation to them, we were met with shrugs and complete and utter disregard They did not offer any solution except for us to call corporate or have my father show up We were forced to look for somewhere else to stay- it’s pouring outside and late Beyond dissatisfactory- the staff clearly needs retraining I’ll never forget how they treated me and my family in a time of need A shame

Maliah K

So let’s start off this review with the front desk Some of them are friendly and a great help and some need training againNow lets go to breakfast

I really wish they had better breakfast The oatmeal is watery Coffee taste like it is old and they never wash the coffee machine The tables were dirty The dishes looked like they were ran through just hot water and no soap I was very disappointed with the breakfastNow let’s talk about the pool place There are towels everywhere As a guest you should pick up your towel and put it in the basket but for the guest who are to good for that the housekeeping will not bother picking them up I saw the same towel there for days! When you ask for towels for the pool they will give you the white towels There is this machine that is there and covered up you can see the rust on it and its grossThe pool itself is dirty They might clean the pool after weeks While i was swimming in the pool i looked down and there was a bunch of hair in thereThe water looked murkie That is how you know the pool is not clean The windows in the pool area are dirty Around the pool looks like no one cares to clean it You can see the smudges all over the windows It looks really bad! The hot tub has been out of order for a hot minute now Another annoying thing i came across is that they were swimming lessons going on I did not know that guest have to deal with swimming classes I think that is very unprofessional and very uncomfortableNow about the rooms They are a good size rooms it’s just that they smell dingy Thinking it is just me i wanted to give them the benefit of doubt Friday Housekeeping came and let me tell you how i was shocked with their cleaning They will not wipe the nightstands The headboard you can see marks on there as well I left some stuff there and when i came back it was still there The linen does not smell clean at all Nothing they put out smells clean or washed It has a very dingy smell The bathroom mirrors you can see the smudges and toothpaste marks The wall to the side of the mirror you can see toothpaste marks there as well The shower area the only thing they do in the tub is rinse it with water There was hair along side the walls on the toilet seat and if you looked close enough there was hair behind the bathroom door alongside the walls Now the kitchen They do not wipe down the counters at all The dishes in the dishwater are only run through water When we came back and went to use the dishes there was food marks still on there the glass and spoons had marks on them as well I then had to put dish detergent in the dishwasher and run it again The hallways smelly dingy as well It is like they never clean the carpets THE PRODUCTS THEY USE IF THEY USE ANY ARE CHEAP AND NASTY THEY NEED TO RETRAIN OR HIRE NEW CLEANING PEOPLE There are a few nice cleaning people but majority of them need to learn how to talk to guest and not make them feel uncomfortableThe guest who stay here regardless them being long term or short term pay money to stay here The management does not use good cleaning products or the right equipment to clean Cleaning also does not happen everyday day I think it is twice a week When you take money from us for staying there everyday you should have them clean the rooms everyday as wellI know Marriott is a very well know name I have stayed at many around the world I would say that the hotels in third world countries are way cleaner than the one here in Woodbridge NJ Would i recommend anyone to stay here no never Management really needs to step up their game in cleaning the place

The two women who checked me in for my stay were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful!!I did have an issue the second morning of my stay I was rudely awakened by a woman who seemed to be management knocking on my door I open the door to chat with this woman, and she explained that my card on file declined for the charges

Understandable that this is a concern for the property, however instead of taking a gentle, friendly approach – which should be used toward guests (especially who you just woke up) she decided to tell me that payment is due now and ‘normally in these situations police would be called in 30 minutes” TMI and offensive in my opinion As a titanium elite member, I really did not appreciate the insinuation that I could not afford to pay, or the approach this woman took with addressing the issue at hand I went straight to the front desk and completed my payment The issue was a simple lock that I had placed on my cardThe room I was in was very spacious and the layout was excellent However the furniture arrangement was arkward and uncomfortable, so I took it upon myself to rearrange the suite to a more comfortable layout (as shown in images) Several things were broken / not functioning properly, all of which were easy fixes that I personally addressed

Room is not what I expected A lot smaller especially considering it’s the bridal suite I don’t think it’s any different than any other room here but it is twice the price

Supposed to have a complementary bridal basket that’s not here as well as a sitting room and love seat, of which there is neither Hard to find an outlet to charge my devices, no creamer for making coffee in the room It is a lovely looking hotel, yet, I do not feel welcome It feels more like I’m a burden to the staff by staying here Also, no microwave in the room and no extra light blankets or pillows Beds have a fitted sheet and a comforter and that’s it They go on and on about luxury on their website but this is anything but luxurious

Rooms are really nice ❤️! Love the setup and beautiful decorum Only critique is no bathtub I didn’t really interact with staff, but everyone seemed pretty chill

Jerseys a very different seen than I am use to so I don’t think I can judge the location fairly although I would have liked it to be in a more open and scenic place Has exercise room so that is always a plus for me 😊!

What makes this hotel absolutely outstanding is the incredible, kind, caring, genuine staff Over a month long stay, we got to know the staff very well and they were nothing short of amazing They knew us by name, knew our stories, always asked us how our days were, and gave us recommendations for things to do in the area

They made our work trip so much better and gave us a safe haven to relax and recuperate in We will truly miss this amazing staff!

Laura Biderman

I came to Towneplace Suites because I was evacuated from my apartment due to severe water damage from a fire From the moment I arrived, 3 1/2 months ago, I was met with extraordinary kindness and support The entire team at this hotel, from the front desk, maintenance, housekeeping and kitchen staff seem to go out of their way to help make you comfortable and very welcomed

They all took great care of me and my blind dog and truly made us feel like family!I would like to give a special shout out to Alyssa, Joy, Rob, Crystal, Kori, Angelina, Tonya and Jose!Maurice did a fabulous job in selecting a top notch crew!

Last spring we stayed here during 9 days, and had the most excellent experience The place is conveniently close to public transportation, Prospect Park, stores, Church, and excellent restaurants The house is located on a very nice street, full of very well kept houses

The room was beautiful (Hibiscus Room), very well ventilated and lit, fully stocked with all the necessary items, and very clean The breakfast was delicious, fully stocked, and served with a smile Faye and Phil were the best hosts we could have hoped for This B&B exceeded our expectations

Scott Elmore

This was our first B&B experience so we had no idea what we were walking into We just wanted to stay close to Prospect Park and our daughterWe arrived Thursday evening and were shown to our room on the third floor by the lady of the house

She broke down how everything works and told us to let her know of we wanted breakfast in the morning After going out that evening we returned to a toasty room and quiet night’s sleep The next morning we came down for breakfast where Mr Phil had the table set, coffee ready, fresh fruit on table and calming jazz playing We enjoyed some great conversation with the host as well as the other guestsThe next two days went the same way with us enjoying all the time we spent with our hostsWe’ll definitely be back and I encourage you all to stay here

Gina Inzunza

My husband and I had a great experience staying here for 8 days recently The room was lovely and spotless, all the amenities of a hotel, plus some And another bonus was how quiet the room was, very little sound from outdoors comes in

Also, the owners were very helpful and friendly We also enjoyed the breakfasts, very accommodating, too We plan to stay here again the next time we visit Brooklyn! Highly recommend it

This hotel was a immaculate I love staying here I am from that area this place was newly built about 8 months ago It’s in the same parking lot as Target and across the street from Menlo Park Mall so that is great My room was exceptional I had a double Queen suite

So there was two different rooms with a door that closed for the little living area where you had a sleeper sofa a chair a television then there was a kitchenette with a small table and chairs a refrigerator a dishwasher microwave and a two burner glass stove top They provided you with dishes and silverware as well as dishwasher cleaner My bed was so comfortable and that was in a separate room when you walk it through the living area you open the door and there were the two big beds the bathroom was really nice overall I give this place five stars They have a pool they do serve breakfast the staff there is amazing they want to do whatever they can to make you happy and answer any questions or be helpful in any way at all They do have a basketball court in the back as well as two sitting and lounging areas outside with beautifully done gas fire pits It was gorgeous and relaxing and I’m extremely satisfied with all of their service And it’s right down the road from route 1 that takes you everywhere and anywhere you want to go but it is extremely busy that highway besides that the place was amazing the location was great and I definitely will be coming back They also have a really large parking lot and they have two charging stations for your electric vehicles so that was convenient as well

Christopher Jakala

Beautiful newer hotel Super clean and stocked rooms Every staff I ran into, from the front desk to the breakfast staff were very friendly

Pool was refreshing and weight room has lots of options (dumbells, cardio, kettle bells, cable machine, etc) Side plus, 2 minute walk from Target and Starbucks(inside Target) One of the best stays at a hotel!

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a resort This website will compare countless booking websites and typically will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the most well known in this area

I’ve been staying here for years If you stay for a few nights you for sure won’t regret itThis hotel location was excellent!! You had a Walmart extremely close by two restaurants and the room was absolutely clean and modern!! We had so much space despite sharing a room as a family! It met our needs to sleep shower and go on about our next stop the Statue of Liberty!! If you’re traveling with the family I would definitely recommend this place! My husband was the only person who took advantage of the free breakfast because we were running late but it was all worth it!! If you need to get to the Statue Liberty from Philly stay here you will not regret it!!

I have been staying at Hilton since past 7-8 years and this was the worst experience ever Starting from the check-in – We were not greeted with happy faces at all We had total of 6 rooms for the week so total around like 15-16 nights since i had used points for some rooms and paid for the other

We had a baby shower event nearby and booked the rooms for my guests and my family but they were also utterly disappointed by the overall experience The major concern was the provision of the housekeeping service and bath/hand towels We had to literally beg for towels every few hours since they would not give us the number of towels we requested We could see they have enough towels at the back of the reception but still would not give us that It literally felt like they were discriminating towards my brown skin They would not provide housekeeping the same day even if we asked for it in the morning I have been staying at Hiltons since the beginning of Pandemic but never had such experience anywhere else I had options nearby to book my rooms for the baby shower but chose this since I had previously stayed at this property couple of times They had like 4-5 front desk people sitting doing nothing during the work hours They should instead hire more house keepers I really hope Hilton will take some acceptable action towards the customer service at this particular property

Let me start off by saying I am a fan at staying at this embassy suites location because almost always I am greeted by welcoming faces all around, but Friday was very differentAfter a long day I wanted to grab a meal at the restaurant in the hotel, the server Danny was extremely helpful with the menu, and overall was great as she tackled table after table I did notice the chef was very rude to her and another gentleman

While I was eating I heard some things fall, and seen the person in the kitchen throwing pans It was a concerning sight because the energy from her was felt throughout the entire restaurantOverall I love the embassy suites, and I do enjoy the service but this was one of the first days I did not finish my meal It was very undercooked, and too greasy for my liking I’m hoping for some improvements moving forward because usually the restaurant is one of the best parts of staying at this hotelI do give credit to the server that was working, she is one reason I am still willing to give this hotel/restaurant one more chance

The staff at this location is super nice, friendly, helpful and professional The overall perception of the employees, everyone works as a team making this Hotel the place to stay The lobby is very spacious, the complimentary breakfast is on point, the rooms are a decent size for a family of five and lots of outdoor parking spaces

I recommend and definitely will stay here again

Stayed for a night The studio room was good Breakfast had plenty of options

My only issue was that I couldn’t find a courtesy shuttle from the airport, there were no instructions on the hotel website about a shuttle When I called the hotel, they told me to get on some train and come to a pickup point Customers new to EWR airport and many luggage items will find it difficult I wish they can pick up from the arrival level near the bus stop or cab pickup Going from hotel to airport was easy, I asked them to drop me at the departure terminal and they did The hotel did not have a restaurant, but there is IHOP and Ruby Tuesday at 1 min walk

Standard room just like every Residence InnVery nice hotel front staffHowever, the hotel itself is noisy, airplanes, port noises, cars, and truck driving by noises

you name it Restless night :(Also, there were pet hairs, funky restroom smells inside the room 119

Pet fee is extra $150+ tax Same price with the room Thing is there is no extra service or facility for your pet

But just double priceYou can find the dog day care or over night pet care service less than $ 80 near this hotel QSo if you looking for the hotel, stay with your pet This is not the place spend your money Not worthy

One of the best kept secrets of NYC, but not among the military At least I hope not! It does fill up during weekends and peak season, so book early And call at 6pm to see if there’s a cancelation

before you book at NYC prices elsewhere! And when you stay, hot breakfast is there for you in the AM But tip the lady (usually it’s a lady) who takes care of that for you! 🤑 Just like you should for the cleaning team when you checkout of the room They all work pretty hard for not much money A couple of dollars in a tip ain’t gonna hurt you 😉

Nicholas Paavola

The hotel is nice, but extremely hard to find Highly recommend the hotel put instructions on their site to aid in finding the entrance To find the entrance put in the intersection of Fort Hamilton Parkway and 101st into your map app

Once through the entrance of Ft Hamilton take the first left Amenities on post, to include dining, are very limited so plan ahead or plan go off post

This Holliday Inn provided great customer service (which I am big on)! They helped us with directions around the area, accommodations around the hotel, parking and the whole nine yards The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable They also provided a roll away bed for our convienceince

They offer snacks and food for the rooms right in the main lobby There is even a commissary and PX right behind the hotel in walking distance (3-5 min) The hotel is located about 15 minutes from the train station so you can easily get to NYC attractions Overall great place to visit the city and fairly priced

My stay here was absolutely excellent, Vic at the front desk checked me in swiftly and informed me about all the hotel had to offer with a smile Room was both spacious, welcoming and cleaned to high standard Overall very happy with the staff, room, and over all experience

85/10 would absolutely stay here over any hotel in the area come next trip Will not find better bang for buck… Buffalo Wild Wings less than 5 minutes away with great deals for dinner!

I do like this hotel and location, however the state of the bathroom was disturbing this trip as far as no cleaning in the weekend, the raggedy shower curtain and dead bugs inside the light in the shower The personnel are always great, and no reflection on them I think overall the hotel needs to make an investment to do better with the things so mention that would matter to most people

Kitchenette was great, but no roll of paper towel (which I thought every hotel provides-like the 1 extra roll of toilet tissue) It’s the little things that they can fix and make me give them a 5…easily

Tony Yang

The hotel manager and another staff member were very rude to us, accused us of stealing water from the gym, and even prohibited us from taking anymore of it as they were did not order enough to meet the demands of their guests Besides that, the rooms were fine and the breakfast was nice There were signs saying that pets were allowed, but only on the first floor

We discovered that this was not the case because we saw pets coming to other floors as well and staying there This would be bad for anyone with pet allergies

Awesome location, reasonable price, great rooftop deck and courteous staff Simple breakfast daily and rooms cleaned upon request Considering it is right beside the Manhattan Bridge, it was very quiet

I saw a lot of bad reviews about the small rooms, but if you look through the photos they provide, then you know what you’re in for Personally, we weren’t staying there to hang out in the room all day, so the ‘cozy’ room was not a problem

Riley Pham

I had a flight cancellation so my trip to New York was shortened I talked to the hotel and they said they were willing to give me a gift card equivalent to 1 night stay in the hotel because I did not stay with them that night It was amazing

The staff were great and friendly The location is excellent! The room was very good, clean and neat! Breakfast was boring but never mind Overall, it’s a good experience in NYC

Our stay at this hotel was great! The location was perfect in terms of traveling to places around the Chinatown / Soho area The train station was also nearby for further locations Their checkout time was at 11 am but we requested a late checkout and were given a grace time of an extra hour without charge

The hotel provided us with free luggage storage which made it extremely convenient after check out

We recently stayed at the Park House Hotel for Shabbos and really enjoyed our stay The suite was spacious and clean – including the bathroom (which looked like it was recently updated) Judy and the maintenance staff were very helpful

We asked them where to go to get food for Shabbos and let us have the boxes delivered to the hotel even though we weren’t there to accept the delivery The maintenance staff came to our room numerous times to help us with questions about the hot plate they lent us and questions about how to use the shower They even delivered a tablecloth for Shabbos for us to use without us asking for it The hotel is in a great location There are many many shuls in the area and one avenue block away from great shopping What suite lacked in hotel “pizazzaz” they made up in great service and general cleanliness

When I stayed at the Park House Hotel I had one of the best experiences I’ve had in any hotel The staff were very friendly & made sure my stay was magnificent The room & bathroom were very clean and had lots of room to move around

From the minute I walked in, to the minute I checked out, I was a happy camper Thank you to all the caring staff who made that possible

I’ve been coming here for a long time If you decide to stay here you definitely will love it I’m sure!My guest room was incredibly spacious and clean One of the biggest hotel rooms in New York City that I have ever stayed in! Upon check-in, the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming I was amazed at how much space I had in the guest room The breakfast offering in the M Club Lounge was impressive, with a buffet of sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, egg whites with veggies, breakfast potatoes, and more I recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a spacious and modern place to stay

I round up, otherwise I would say it’s about 35 stars Hotel has a good location as you can walk to the Brooklyn Bridge, restaurants, and little neighborhoods around

A little more walking then you can get to the promenade and walk along the water Rooms were average, but do NOT include a microwave and has a tiny fridge The weirdest thing was on our floor they had a community microwave in the hall near the elevators, seemed odd, and there was NOT one on every floor We reserved an accessible room with roll-in shower and they had it ready when we got there Often the hotels will make your reservation for accessible room with roll-in shower and then we get there and they don’t have it and give us another room like we won’t notice We needed a shower chair for my wife and the guy immediately got it for us Downside was on Thursday night some of us came back to the hotel about 1130p-12a and bar was closed Another day the gift shop lady was turning off lights and closing gate at 2pm even though sign in elevator said they were open until something like 8p or 10p Also when we checked out but weren’t leaving Brooklyn for a few hours the bellman held our luggage for us while we went to check out some things around the hotel to fill time

We came to NY only for a couple of days and needed something affordable This B&B was a great fit for us While the owner does have a little spot for parking, we were lucky to be able to find street parking right out front of the house without a problem and never received a ticket

Having the ferry only a short walk away was fabulous!!!We stayed on the top floor, which is a bit of a climb when you’re carrying a large suitcase, but the rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable and bathroom was adequate The breakfast wasn’t the worst I’ve had but I thought could have offered some protein options like a hard boiled egg or peanut butter It was quite warm when we were there (first week of August) but the AC units in each room worked well Maybe because we were on the top floor or maybe because it was the weekend, we didn’t have any trouble with outdoor noises while sleepingMy only complaints were the bathroom towels (very rough; they could use replacing) and the WiFi connection I literally had to sit on the hallway stairs to get any sort of reception After a long day of walking around, it would have been nice to relax with some TV and since the channel options weren’t the best, I would have like to use my phone without having to gauge my data plan! Other than that, I thought the owner was nice and accommodating And his artwork which was displayed throughout the house, added a nice, personal touch! I would recommend to others

We were on a road trip from Nova Scotia to New York City for Easter Weekend and stayed two nights here This B&B has an amazing location only a few mins walk from the ferry to Manhattan, clean and very well priced Paul the owner is very helpful and will take care of all your needs

This is not a fancy B&B, but includes everything you need and is a great value The breakfast is good and includes a fresh bagel, fresh fruit and tea/coffee I would highly recommend staying here if you are spending sometime in NYC and don’t need anything fancy

Let me be honest:This place is not the Ritz Carlton And you know it It has got weak wifi, and a couple other little things that tend to mildly annoy people

But, for the price that you pay it is a very nice place, with a good location and available hosts!
