The rooms and beds are fantastic and very plushy comfortable The breakfast was delightful I was surprised how delicious the omelets were

The waffles and bagels were nice There were too many unruly Latinos taking over the pool area with undisciplined kids One kid had a bloody toe going into the pool That’s a hazard The hotel should have some sort of security or lifeguard enforcing the rules I recommend they need to make the pool area 21+ or have adult pool hours

We went to see the Bible Museum & it was great!! Got see one page of the Bible translated & that single page had, Jehovah, 13 times Seeing as this is God’s real name it just verified it once moreBeing one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, I found it exciting! The young lady at the front desk was very helpful & kind! Will tell my friends & bring several there!Thank U very kindly for having this display!😁

I booked my room over a week in advance on the Hilton app I checked in digitally the night before my stay and picked my room When I arrived and got to my room, I found it was not the room type I reserved and not the room I picked the night before

I called the front desk and they said I had been “downgraded” and apparently were short on rooms No one bothered to contact me I asked to speak to the manager and got her voicemail An assistant manager called me back about 30 minutes later and said that they had someone stay over an extra night and offered to bill me at the rate this downgraded room was anyway After some persuasion on my part, I did get extra points I personally find it very inconvenient to be downgraded Particularly, when I booked in advance and checked in the night before I feel like that room they extended was my room and if someone wanted to extend without a reservation they should be downgraded I would not recommend staying here if you have a specific room preference as it may not be available when you arrive

The rooms were clean and the hotel was quiet The bed and pillows were comfortable Can’t give the rooms 5 stars because the shower head left a bit to be desired

I would stay here again I did not take advantage of many of the amenities like the pool, work out room, or laundry so I cannot give 5 stars without having knowledge of those areas The staff was very friendly and helpful

Erica Williston

Great experience Very clean and comfy Beds were comfortable

Little pillows though, not the big ones like at other hotels I have stayed at Scent throughout the hotel was pleasant Some hotels the smell wasn’t nice Breakfast at 6:30 was good Food taste good and is fresh I would recommend them to anyone A little pricey but hey you get what you pay for If a hotel is less than $100 a night it’ll prolly be a budget place I would stay here again I paid $147 a night with a corporate discount so roughly after taxes it will be about $169 Definitely worth it and by major highway the 101

Melissa Carrasco

The staff was great and the room was clean although I did find a piece of an acrylic nail next to the bed The pool was out of order when we arrived If all of the amenities I paid for are not available, I should receive a discount

The day we checked out, the pool was open but the water was cloudy/dirty The TV was not only disappointingly small, it was also broken On our second day, we left to run an errand and when we returned, our room keys didnt work Overall it was not worth the amount of money I spent I do not recommend

Jason Scheer

I spent a few nights here and was bit by bed bugs Clearly bed bugs and had a video and everything Nobody even wanted to look at it

I asked for a refund and was told they needed to bring someone in to investigate, which would be days after I complained That means they could easily clean the room in the time it would take I am completely bit up, itchy, and burning on my leg Not one person said they were sorry and not one refund was offered The manager on duty couldn’t care less I will never stay at this chain again

We recently spent a week at this hotel while visiting Phoenix The suites were clean and roomy and included a nice kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, stove top and microwave along with dishes and glasses in the cupboards The variety of the free breakfast offered was outstanding, changing the main entrees each morning

The outdoor pool was heated which was great in the evenings The best part of our stay though was the people The workers at the breakfast buffet were extremely friendly even taking time to come out to the dining area to chat with us and our grandkids The workers at the front desk always greeted us each time we either left or entered the hotel An added bonus to this hotel location is all the restaurants and shops that Happy Valley has to offer I highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be staying here on our next visit

sun love

I really like this hotel, very welcoming and seemingly sincere in their desire to serve Kelly at the front desk, Jody and Raymond who make breakfast in the mornings – so welcoming and genuine It makes me smile to call the hotel and still hear Michele’s voice

She was great too I haven’t had too much experience yet with Heidi, but my impression of her is positive too Highly recommended : )

Dog barking in room next to us People smoking immediately outside exits Shaking/vibrating room

It may be pet friendly but it was not a place I would say is family friendly People drinking beer in the poolBreakfast was great Room was clean

Great and expansive place to work solo or in a small group Spread out and no lack of plug in outlets Chairs comfy and tables designed for spread out

The lobby isn’t loud for distractions It’s far better than Starbucks and the desk staff doesn’t ask where you’re going or harass you I go here all the time for different pace and better than working from home It’s beautiful in the work area You could easily have 4 different meetings and not be on top of someone Try it you work horses!!!

Thank you so much for the wonderful service and accommodation! My A/C has not been working for days and my family had finally had enough of sleeping in the heat when the thermostat started reading 89 degrees, so we had to find a safe place to sleep that could take pets in a hurry and I’m so glad we chose this place The price was great, not too cheap and not too expensive even with the deposit you have to put down if you have pets The room was nice and clean and well stocked

The early morning desk manager was even able to get us a room right next to an exit as one of my dogs is verywellset in her ways lets put it She’s a sweetheart but only after she’s had a lot of time to get to know you; if you’re a stranger, however, she tends to get loud so being able to get outside quickly when my dogs needed to do their business was a major plus here Every employee I met was welcoming and helpful I don’t have many occasions to stay in hotels but if I’m ever in need of one I’ll make sure its a TownePlace again!

I travel for work every week In my travels this has been my favorite place to stay I had the pleasure of stay for close to 1

5 months There is a great staff that works here, but there are a couple that I am extra appreciative of I checked in every Monday to be greeted by Lance’s kind and welcoming smile I always felt that he was genuinely happy to see me! He was always accommodating and I looked forward to seeing himI can also say the same for sweet Kaitlyn Whether I was stopping for a drink or heading straight up to my room She always greeted me and ALWAYS has a smile on her face She takes the time to get to know all of her customers!!I look forward to the next time I have an assignment in the Glendale, AZ area!

Wow, we’re do I start! Have never been to a hotel with such a wide group of staff that are all so positive happy and welcoming!! I just happen to come during the bulldog show and loved how dog friendly the whole place is!! Breakfast was a hit ! We ended up extending our stay for another week and driving an extra 45min from our event we were attending just because of our nice experience I definitely recommend, especially if your looking for a dog friendly location I will definitely be looking forward to another stay in the future!

Stephanie Schupbach

We stayed 5 nights, over all we were satisfied The breakfast was very, very good! The staff was friendly and helpfulThe Mattresses ( we had a suite) were hard, which was disappointing- maybe the hotel should consider an upgrade

The hotel could also use a fresh “set ” of towels We had plenty, but they are showing their wear

This review is for 2014-2019 I’ve used this location several times and I’m thrilled They remembered our names

Fantastic free food evening and morning Wonderful spacious rooms in our suite They load the dishwasher for you It’s spotless, and very easy access to the highway We made a royal mess when we brought the kids but isn’t that what vacations are for? Don’t worry we cleaned up after ourselves Two bathrooms, two bedrooms Sleeper sofa in the living room 3 televisions, baby crib, & full size fridge Nice view Modern decor Private corner to ourselves Couldn’t be happier

Rooms decently clean, but mine could have used some repairs Nice lobby area and has a hot tub with the pool, but pool is not heated You can use the one across at the garden Inn if it’s chilly, but something to note

Breakfast foods were ok Nothing great, but filled the belly They do free beer/wine some evenings with burgers and such Very nice touch I would recommend staying here

Jeanine S

The front desk manager Antoinette is absolutely AMAZING! We required an extended stay due to home repairs and she took amazing care of us They offer a breakfast every morning and an evening reception Tuesday and Wednesday only right now The Hilton Garden in right across the parking lot has a bar and a restaurant, plus both of them have a store, so you have everything you need when you’re away from home

Antoinette will treat you like family

I live near by I needed some time away from home to study and just decompress from my family The hotel was the best priced in the area at the time of booking

The rooms were clean and not worn down Everything was clean and everything in the room was well stocked The room and area was quiet and the front desk helped me quickly and efficiently The free breakfast opened on time and the food was all fresh including the coffee Employees were around and I didn’t get the feeling alike they were patrolling the people eating It was a good experience all around with excellent rates especially for the location

Jess Schiel

I travel often with work often and I have never been more happy with a hotel than I was here at Home2Suite Every Moring I was greeted the most positive and polite associate named Aryanna At night when I returned I was greeted by Christina, who not only was tentative, polite and professional she gave me the best dinner recommendations

Neither one of them seemed to be inconvenienced by questions Most days Angel cleaned by room I was here for a total of three weeks She too was helpful and polite It was an overall great experience I would recommend this for families or business

J Abdo

Pleasant stay They think about everything! Nice room, friendly and helpful staff, Especially Sean 🙂 Thank you for all your help, Sean! (And he always kept his smile) Laundry is free, no need to look for coins lol They even have headsets in the fitness center for free too! That’s pretty amazing! (Which was great because I had forgotten mine at home) There is also a grill next to the pool, oh there’s only one thing we did not like, the chairs in the pool were not reclinable, so you can’t get your back tanned

Great location! walking distance to the mall, theater and lots of restaurants!

I couldn’t find less than one star My brother in law is a Marriott employee therefore I have stayed in over a hundred different Marriott franchises This was by far my worst experience

I was awaken by bugs crawling on my arm at midnight The employee on duty did offer me another room, but after not being able to go back to sleep I decided to check out and sleep in my car The employee on duty did apologize and stated the manager may try and contact me once he arrived in the morning Room number 409 needs to be exterminated immediately Maybe even the adjoining rooms as well This was my first and hopefully last time seeing an actual bed bug

This hotel looks new and nice The decor is fresh and updated BUT, our room wasn’t clean

There were dried red liquid stains in the refrigerator, and I wasn’t able to adjust the shelves because the refrigerator door couldn’t open completely There were curly black hairs in the drawers in the bathroom, and my husband found a piece of clear tape covered in hairs on the drain in the shower Also, the handle of the pocket door to the bathroom was missing, leaving a gaping hole of rough, unfinished woodThe service at breakfast was even worse I couldn’t find a spoon for my cream of wheat – there weren’t any next to the kettle and there weren’t any in the shelves below – so my husband went to the hotel clerk, Nathan, to ask for additional spoons Without even looking up, Nathan said, “How can I help you Ma’am?” My husband asked about the spoons Nathan walked over to another section of the breakfast area where there were some spoons, grabbed them, and stuck them in the container next to the kettle without offering one to me and without saying a wordWhen we arrived the day before there was a young woman at the front desk, and it was her first day on the job I would suggest that management train and promote her because she was very pleasant and was working hard to learn her job and provide great customer service

Peter Yu

I travel to AZ frequently and I really got tired of staying in Blythe and Ehrenberg The rooms there are unfortunately not the best and I’ve tried a few The problem is it’s a long stretch between Blythe and Phoenix, but this time I was determined to stay at a different hotel, a place that was clean, modern and comfortable

I wasn’t sure of what to expect when I reserved a room at Home 2 It was part of the Hilton chain so that was somewhat comforting It was worth the additional drive time into the night The room was spacious The only thing I did notice were a few hairs in the shower The room was set up nice The bed was comfortable The AC was great not noisy

Michele Cerami

I relocated to Avondale from New York and chose to stay at this hotel and so happy that I did From the moment that I walked through the door the individuals behind the desk: Nathan, Daniel, Patty, Lisa, there are others that assisted too and I can not recall their names All welcomed me in a kind, friendly and empathic manner

If I had any questions they were addressed in timely fashion I enjoyed my stay here and all of the employees that work there should be highly recognized for their customer service I am highly recommending this hotel if you need a place to stay while you are waiting for your apartment and/or business

This a very nice resort… love the lagoon pool and tranquil atmosphere The only down part is that they don’t have a restaurant or live bar to hang out… there are great outing places close by though, but sometimes one just want to stay in… I also love the fact that they have full kitchens, it comes handy if we want to spend more than three days over… however, having a restauran option would be a good idea My kids love it here because of the pool and some entertainment they offer…but we ended up not getting any extra packages because we’re not planning to travel out of the country any sooner

Ashley Maruca

The room was a one bedroom suite with a kitchen We had a party of 4 and there is a pull put couch bed Pool was great and the drinks even more great! Food truck had pretty good food and fair prices

My only complaint is the cleanliness of the room You could tell the shower was not cleaned so I cleaned it myself When we moved the chair in the livingroom we found a dirty sock and sunflower seeds I don’t think a sweeper was ran either and if you walk barefoot, be prepared for dirty feet There wasn’t a lot to do around the resort so we traveled a lot You definitely need a rental car

Scott Herrington

From the time we entered to the time we left( 2 days ) We were greeted with smiles, not only registration but everyone smiled and waved The master suite we got was beautiful! Sunken tub, living room and a huge wrap around bathroom

The grounds were beautiful The pool is huge with a water slide, cabanas, music I will definitely come back for another get away

First off, A++ to the staff It was so refreshing to visit a hotel and have a staff as friendly and helpful as EVERYONE was Always greeting me as I passed, asking how my stay is, just great customer service that should be the norm, but we all know it isn’t

The room was huge, clean, and updated The continental breakfast was pretty good compared to many other hotels ive been to The pool and it’s surrounding area were clean and beautiful as well I also walked from the hotel to the Gila River Arena for a Pearl Jam concert and it wasn’t a bad walk at all Highly recommend this hotel

Aethese

The room I stayed in (big enough for 5 people) was very big and nice for only $170 not including tax! Very good value The only bad parts were the cleanliness of the beds (see attached pictures) They were not very clean but pushing the pillows off to the side and using my own pillow and blanket fixed my issue

That’s my only problem with the place The location is amazing! It’s near many great places The pool is almost perfect! A beautiful place to relax with a hot tub too My only problem is the max depth is 5ft, but I could live with that Besides the cleanliness of the bed, my stay there was amazing!

Access to the 101 loop and near good convenience storesI really like the amenities from the business center to the fire pit out near the pool I also like the meeting areas where groups can hang out in the lobby You can also find snack and toiletries in the Market I especially like the decor all around the hotelThey offer free parking and free cold breakfast (yogurt, cereal, pastries, oatmeal, juices, etc), as well as comp coffee and tea I appreciate the dairy free options they provideIt’s a great place for long term stays; my room was equipped with a kitchenette, which included cookware, dishes, coffee pot, full fridge and stovetop There’s dining area, full couch, work station desk and bathroom suiteI’d like to thank Chris for assisting me with my very last minute reservation He was very welcoming and helpful

Astounding!! I am completely floored by this stand alone location The service, genuine cheerfulness and concern we received during our stay have captivated us and brought each of us to say – there is something special here! Every staff member we have encountered from Morgan at the front desk to Tamara & Deb and the sweet ladies in the kitchen have a smile on their face, made us feel so welcome and gone out of their way to make sure we are comfortable Three Cheers to this Residence & the stand alone culture of care they have created to rival the greats of hospitality

Super clean hotel with amazing service They serve hot breakfast daily and it’s delicious Lots of options and they change what’s served daily so you don’t get bored of the same thing

Two bedroom suites have a full kitchen including a dishwasher! Outdoor area has a nice size, clean pool and a beautiful bbq grill area with a fire pit There is also a gym and a laundry room They are pet friendly as well but they do a good job of keeping everything clean Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will be back

What a great experience The rooms were big (fit my family of 7 in the 2 room suite) The breakfast was great every day, big portions and hot food and fresh fruit options

The staff was super friendly and helpful Parking was close and easy The pool was a little small but uncrowded and very cleanMy only complaint is not for us: Please fix the air conditioner in the laundry room for those hardworking ladies!! They laughed and didn’t complain but we could feel the warm air when we walked by the laundry

I am a rewards customer for Best Western and I travel extensively This hotel was Great The staff was friendly and housekeeping stopped by my room to make sure everything was OK with my room (how thoughtful)

It’s the little things that separate the good from the Great!Breakfast was on point! Waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes and a myriad of other itemsThe only con was: the night stand was really scratched up but everything was great

After driving 12 hrs decided to check into this hotel, which I normally use best western & feel that they are pretty decent Being extremely exhausted & barely able to see I stopped here thinking I’d have a room only to find that they were going to charge me almost $400 just to book the room for 1 night

the room was 114 + $25-$35 for a pet fee & an additional $200 for a deposit, this is outrageous! I fortunately called the double tree down the street, which is much nicer & I got a room for almost 150 for the night I’m really disappointed with this best western, I just left a best western not even 12 hrs ago in LA & this was not their policyDo the policies differ per each Best Western? Either way if they are going to price gouge & be shady @ this location, I do not recommend! There’s better elsewhere!

This hotel went beyond our expectations as far as the room and the breakfast It was almost like a resort !!! The area was perfect for being close to the freeway and near food options for us Not to mention If we needed anything the staff was quick to assist us I highly recommend and will definitely stay here again in the future
