Had a really late check in and the room was a bit expensive for only having two beds But the pool and a hot tub is wonderful especially if you get in there before everyone else But the staff there is freaking amazing! They are kind and courteous

Kinda wish I would’ve got a discount on my room tho 🤣🤣 Had so much fun with my family my kids would definitely do it again for a cheaper price 🤣🤣

I have stated at this location for work all of last week and I will be coming back this evening for this entire week as well Chelsea (head mgr) and all of the wonderful ladies at the front desk and cleaning ladies are so wonderful I have a service dog and they are truly so kind to both him as well as myself

Even at night time or coming and going multiple times throughout the day, the front desk always acknowledges you which is nice Hard to find kind ppl these days, but what a wonderful staff you have here at this hotel! Thank you!

Mary Quann

The customer service was wonderful and the breakfast was nice but the room was dated and dirty There were so many bugs in our windowsills and the kitchen was dirtyMy sons white socks (which I put on after his evening bath) were BLACK after walking around on the carpet for a few hours

I normally LOVE Marriott but we were very disappointed with this stay

Hotel appears to be recently remodeled Friendly staff Nice breakfast

Difficult to find parking This is the LOUDEST hotel I’ve ever stayed in We were put by a group of kids and there was lots of slamming doors and yelling down the hall between rooms late at night The problem was, it sounded like they were in the room with me The people above us sounded like elephants walking around and you could hear their doors slamming too There must be no insulation between rooms and floors

Okay hotel to stay, not worth $100+ a night, needs renovations, hallway carpet area has dipsPros: clean beds, breakfast lady was welcoming and nice Liked the desk and storage space in our room, how bright the room was, and the light fixture on the headboard

Breakfast has oatmeal same flavor in a cup cinnamon apple no variety though Fruits orange and apples Pancake machine, sausage/Turkey patty etcStaff encounter all were kind and nice :)Cons: pool and gym has super strong smells (so we didn’t swim), our room non smoking smelled like cigarettes upon entering even stronger in the bathroom (we booked smoke free and I specifically chose it for that reason, and the building says it’s smoke free), my husband didn’t want the hassle and time of switching rooms, room could’ve been cleaner( not vacuumed good), fridge was sticky I had to wipe it down myself then found hair, carpet sticky areas which I laid down sheets on, one of the lights in the bathroom closest to shower wasn’t working, could’ve been cleaner as well black smudges on wall and shower curtain, tub is not leveled or is it supposed to be like that?, breakfast says it ends at 9:30am went down one of the mornings at 8:40am and there was no hot food except for the grab and go bars etc so be sure to go early if you want hot breakfast, coffee didn’t taste good, old? (also didn’t have a good selection like the Hampton and Marriott in Oregon) we ended up buying Starbucks every morningDefinitely would improve better if it was cleaned better, and the cigarette smell was taken care of in the room and they also stick to their breakfast times written on their wall

Stayed for a night on the way back from Cedar Point The hotel is about what you would expect from a Hampton — clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet, reasonably price The TV in the room is nice, and I appreciate the fridge and the work space

Free hot breakfast in the morning is a huge plus Where this place really shines, however, is the service The staff was so gracious and accommodating at every turn — everyone was exceptionally polite and very pleasant Best of all, though, I was silly enough to leave my laptop at the front desk after checking out and did not realize until I got home hours later I called the front desk and they had it secured for me and shipped out to me within a couple days Best staff I have interacted with in ages Thank you again!

Andrew

If you are looking for a clean hotel with great staff than look no further Was traveling from DC to Illinois and stopped here after reading reviews I didn’t make reservations but they were still able to accommodate me with a room

Room was clean, shower had great pressure and beds were very comfortable Staff was very friendly and gave me a list of local restaurants Free hot continental breakfast is available in the morning Hotel is pet friendly but not sure if they limit pets to certain rooms or floors because my room had no signs of pets

Ty Reed

Stayed here with a group Myself and a couple others in the group said the same thing, the rooms smelled musty Cleanliness was mediocre

Staff were definitely very friendly Pool towels were hard to find Pretty small gym with a treadmill, a few dumbbells, and another machine or two Breakfast is a standard hotel buffet that isn’t great but good enough to fill you up If I was in the area again, I would probably look for another place first, but wouldn’t be opposed to staying here

The pool area was very nice and the times that it was open allowed for a nice amount of time to swim either late in the evening or very early morning There was breakfast in the morning with several hot or cold options and a bar area as well for special drinks The staff at the desk was kind and helpful also

Our room had an amazing kitchen area and was reasonably priced

Jeremy Kerstetter

This would have been a 4 star rating overall but we were pleasantly surprised to learn it was taco Tuesday and we received free tacos for dinner The beds were comfortable, our room was clean, and it was a good experience overall The only real holdup was this was the only hotel we stayed at with complimentary breakfast that limited you to one plate

Nadine Weisbrod

Trent, the evening Staff-member on duty was polite, took time to answer questions about the region and is exceptional at his jobThe location is convenient, to pool is warm and has a nice atmosphereBreakfast has several options and the staff in the breakfast room were also kind and responsive when needed

I stayed on a thru-trip, but I’d come back to stay longer and enjoy the region

We were here for a Softball Tournament at Rolf Park The Staff was amazing with our teenage girls, as well as, our group of parents They were amazing when it came to making sure our girls were able to get to go breakfast bags before their early morning games

The rooms were just what we needed after a long day in the sun The only drawn back was our room didn’t have a tub only a Shower (but that was just a preference thing on our end) The 2 Front desk worker we had Jay, and I wasn’t able to get the girls name were more than helpful, and went out of their way to make sure that our organization was taken care of Would most definitely recommend people to stay their especially if they in a group We had to change our reservation a few times, and they were more then helpful! Thank you for so doing such an Amazing job

Peter Smith

Beware of added charges We called the number from the road and made a reservation over the phone, we told them we have a dog, “no problem” Confirmed at the front desk about the dog and no mention of a surcharge

I just got the bill and there is a large dog fee Neither clerks mentioned an added fee This is an pricier hotel for the area and we would not have stayed if we knew I called the corp phone and the guy said the fee is listed on the web site and he would not take it off Offered to send me to the “managers office” and that went to VMWe would not have stayed here if we knew The room was reasonable, the breakfast buffet is very average for road hotels, eggs are sliced from a loaf Will not stay again

An absolute must stayWe did a two week vacation from Toronto traveling down as far as Memphis Tennessee stopping in at several hotels along the way and this was our last hotel and probably my favorite It was in a great location in this small town

there were lots of things to do within walking distance and there were also many great restaurants My favorite recommendation from the hotel staff was Blue Pacific Follow me for a review on that one as well later this weekThese sweets were absolutely huge and completely well stocked with all the amenities that you would need at home including a dishwasher a full size fridge a kitchen a living room and a bathroom that was bigger than my current bedroom at home 😂The front staff here is amazing and they are very attentive, especially Carmin

Jennifer McAfee

We chose to stay here because it had a 95 overall rating which included a very high cleanliness rating The design of the hotel was great but our room had old linens, a hair ball in the shower, a dirty bathroom, but the worst was someone used the couch for a rendezvous and left some of it on the couch

It was disgusting We contacted the hotel & there were no managers on duty on a Saturday night and they couldn’t move us because they were sold out We ended up paying $100 more & moving to a completely different hotel 15 min up the road Cameron who was working was great Contacted corporate Hilton and they did nothing So disappointed in Hilton probably not staying in the chain anymore

MJ W

I am usually in full support of Hilton, home2 suites being my favorite hotel to stay with my family in But this location has me reevaluating my favorite family friendly hotel The cleanliness of the first room we checked into was abhorrent

There was red stringy hair all over the shower I will say when brought to the front desk he kindly switched our room Now the second room was tolerable but my god there cleaning staff needs to be fired Around the toilet needed a real scrubbing, but we were far to tired to change rooms again Now all that could be forgiven but I will never stay at a location that has roaches!!! I found a huge roach near the elevator and I damn near passed out This location is stamped in my forever never again vacation playbook You have been warned

We stayed here for one night on a road trip We were able to check in after midnight hassle-free The room was spotless

It’s a no-frills type of motel If you need a warm bed and a hot shower and don’t care much about how modern everything is, this is a great place for an excellent price Not to mention, the owners are very kind and accommodating We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on another road trip!

JANIS HALL

We loved Linda! She was very sweet and helpful I was very disappointed that the daytime lady was only helpful after she realized I was hurt No interest in room service or simply giving us fresh linens until then

Only was able to use the jacuzzi the first night because I was physically incapable of cleaning it out myself or able to purchase any cleaning supplies? They were to busy to do those things The room was quite comfortable but we found another hotel nearby where I didn’t feel like a burden to ask for the room service or tidying Probably a great place for a 1 or 2 night stay I don’t recommend for traveling workers though

Jennifer Lee

The guy that checked us in was nice but gave us no information about breakfast, check in/out times or directions to the room Yes, we’re adults and can figure it out but it was just an odd start The jacuzzi in the room was the reason we chose that particular hotel and it was the only nice part of the stay

It even had a sprayer to rinse off and rinse out the tub when done The design of the room was unique and small but adequate However the toilet sounded like it was running continuously They said they would have someone look into it but we never heard anything Sometime early afternoon the smell of some kind of air freshener became so overwhelming we decided to go purchase a fan for the smell and the noise of the toilet When the key card to get in the hotel didn’t work we asked about it and their excuse was that it was necessary to keep the fire alarm from going off because of all the people that used to smoke in the hotel The smell of mold/mildew was obvious in the stairwell and probably due to a fire alarm system going off which would explain the paper they made us sign at check in that we won’t smoke or even use a candle or vape in the room Check out time was 11:00 and at 10:20 housekeeping knocked on the door to check and see who was still there since checkout was at 11 This is not a place I would recommend, especially if you have a sensitivity to strong odors and lack of quality customer service

Calem Bendell

Great location but the bathroom had not been cleaned properly The tub was clogged, so by the end of our showers it was full of water The bottom of the toilet seat had a significant amount of debris on it that seemed to have not been cleaned for weeks

We told the front desk in the morning, but they didn’t seem to care so we didn’t press the issue As I was checking out, another customer also told them about a dead light in his room that had been broken when he had arrived Most reviews for this place are great Maybe there has been a change in staff?

The lady at front had an attitude for no reason and was just very rude in general The pool was closed which defeated the purpose of us going But the website said that it was open so

a lie The website was full of them so heads up if you go up here Don’t believe everything the website says just call them an double check But besides those issues we had a good time and enjoyed ourselves

Alexander Zbierajewski

Very beautiful outside and lobby Some of the employees are wonderful! Others are bleh and they are soo understaffed! The elevators are comfy but ugly! The pool is always closed! Computers are on lockdown so you can’t even request software The rooms are okay

beautiful view but overall just average I was only here due to a house fire during the GD winter months!! THEY DONT PLOW THE LOT! I WAS TOLD TO GRAB A SHOVEL AND DIG MY SELF OUT! Do not Stay here unless you have money to waste! The Renaissance is better! Speaking to the GM tomorrow but I have no hope of changing anything after reading these reviews Seriously, I’m begging my insurance company not to deal with them ever again This was ridiculous for 2 1/2 weeks

K M

This time was almost as nice Shower drain was clogged and bathroom could have used a touch up clean The microwave was on the fritz

And, this time was a back room that ‘overlooked’ highway 475; very noisy all night This time, would have gotten a 4 or 45? However, Kelly in reservation was exceptional And Manager Eric applied 2000 pts for the troubles Back to a 49! Marriott is excellent, more importantly, their employees are!

The good:Friendly and helpful staff for the numerous problems we hadHas a decent pool and convenient location Beds were comfortable

The Bad:Overall the condition of the rooms isn’t great this place is due for a renovation Cracked tile, missing grout, trim coming loose, mold, bad smells from the A/C indicating it hasn’t been serviced or cleaned in way too long Room keys stopped working daily requiring multiple trips to the front desk during our stayThere are nicer & newer hotels in the area for the same or lower price per night Unlikely we will stay here again

Terry Kelley

I am a truck driver This place came up in the IHG app Was met in the lobby by Aaron who fantastic with the guests that were ahead of me

What a wonderful stay So glad we chose to stay here The hotel was clean

The room was clean The king suite with the couch was pretty big and spacious Would definitely return of in the area Breakfast had lots to choose from My only complaint was no gravy for the biscuits, but waffles cereal eggs biscuits sausage muffins, apples, yogurt Also the drink and snack machine only take cash or coins so we did have to make a run to the nearest gas station

Deena Dawn L.

After a day of driving we were looking for a place to sleep Glad we stopped hereWe interacted with several staff members and all were pleasant

The room was clean and the bed comfortable We had a problem with the lights flickering and going out and maintenance addressed the problem immediately(If you stay here and like nature, check out the Side Lock Metro Park about 5 miles away Gorgeous!)
