Nice HI Express It’s new, clean and well taken care of Provides typical HI Express breakfast and the staff is super friendly and attentive

I want to especially point out that the person in charge of breakfast was super lively, friendly and totally went the extra mile to ensure everyone was taken care of She was extremely respectful in the way she handled stragglers as she attempted to close the breakfast area So refreshing to see her so happy dealing with people instead of how most attendants are other hotels, including HI Express’ I didn’t get her name, but management will know…please congratulate her and treat her well Great employees are hard to come by

By far one of the best places I have ever stayed! We came here on a work trip and didn’t have reservations and they were still very accommodating The lady at the front was very nice and helpful! Unfortunately we left right before breakfast, but as we were walking out it smelled amazing! As for the rooms, they were also amazing They had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, lotion, etc

already in the rooms waiting for you They also had a sign that said if you forgot something (toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, shaving cream, etc) to come to the front, they had extra! They had ice machines by the elevator on every level Everything was very clean and well kept Couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to sleep

Letoria B

Joan and Lexi were so accommodating and professional They were extremely friendly as well The check-in and check-out processes were easy! The only issue were the uncleanliness of my bed sheets/pillowcases and the bathroom could have been cleaned a little better! When I noticed my bed sheets and pillow cases weren’t clean, Lexi provided me with a new set and discounted my rate

The breakfast isn’t how everyone else in the reviews was bragging about it I feel like it could have been better because I’ve had better hotel breakfast! However, the food was fresh, hot and tasty I just wish there was a better selection! The lady in the kitchen (I don’t know her name) was very helpful and accommodating as wellEven though I did not use the pool, it was very beautiful, and it looked exceptionally cleanI loved the complimentary Dove products!I give the comfort of the beds a 65 out of 10 The quiet and peaceful environment of the hotel made my stay worthwhile!I may give them another chance when visiting the Valdosta, Georgia area

Although the room was slightly dated in interior design it was comfortable and it was clean the beds were clean and comfortable not all worn out old mattresses Location was nice with drug stores and eateries all about and was located about five miles off the interstate The value of the rooms was really good prices

For me it was a quiet stay one of our friends stayed on the lower level at the end and said there was some construction workers or somebody sort of having a late night party But on our end of the parking lot exposed rooms it was quiet

Kelly Hazzard

Everybody was so helpful and kind I came here in a boot and a cane They were all very accommodating, including housekeeping

Never met nicer people Even helped me with my luggage A little pricey, but compared to the level of how super nice everyone was, well worth the price Definitely recommend Rooms were nice and the hotel itself is very quiet I was very pleased with my stay here Thank you all for being so helpful with me It really touched me how you all went above and beyond to help me I will definitely come back if I’m in the area again

Jameia Little (BeadedMarshmallows)

Bedding was stained and appeared dirty with hair and scuff on both beds Bed skirt was encrusted with something AC unit leaked the entire time it was on

Countertops and faucets clearly had not been wiped (looked like someone had spit repeatedly on the faucet, and desk had random sticky spots)and grime was layered in certain crevices Room said no smoking, but it smelled as if someone had been smoking there prior to my stay There was also a plastic bag over the smoke alarm Floor was sticky near the right bed Children next door could be heard running and screaming from early morning to the eveningTwo stars because staff was pleasant and friendly This was an emergency stay, so I was too stressed out to complain and have these fixed or potentially change rooms The point is the room should have been better cleaned

Stayed here for a night, because I had to move my niece back into school the next day The hotel was clean and smelled liked lemons The staff was also very friendly and accommodating

The staff spoke and greeted us every time we left and came back The rooms were also very clean which made it even better They also had a full breakfast bar the next morning and the grits were pretty good This will be my go to place to stay when I am in Valdosta

We had such a wonderful experience while staying here! The customer service was top-notch and the hotel sparkles The lobby is usually the nicest/cleanest part of a hotel, and that was true for this hotel, but the rooms were just as nice! Everything is very clean and well-maintained The pool area has a lovely hot tub and the hotel is pet-friendly

Loved this place!

I was impressed! We travel often and have stayed in many fancy and not so fancy hotels From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with a smile The place looks brand new and it smelled clean

They had some refreshing water in the lobby and very modern decor The breakfast area was great and the breakfast was also good The breakfast attendant Helen was amazing She was working very hard, kept the place clean, and greeted everyone with a smile She was also checking on everyone and offering to help get breakfast items The elevator and our floor (3) was hot as if the AC was off It still smelled like construction in the 3rd floor There were some minimal stains on the carpet but that wasn’t a deal breaker for us The room was perfect It was huge and the AC worked great as we love our rooms cold The room did have some minor areas with some dust but it wasn’t bad The pool was sorta small as there were about 3 families there and it already was full The water was too warm for our liking but I don’t know if it’s just because it was hot outside or because it was heated We really wanted to feel refreshed after swimming but that’s okay I was also impressed at how it was only $25 per stay for pets! My fur babies and my pockets were also very thankful for that The rooms, breakfast, staff, and beds made up for the negatives Will definitely be back if in the area

Tiffany Lawrence

We went with a pretty good size group I think in total we had 4 rooms, but we might have ended up with 5 Checking in was quick and easy

The rooms were pretty gross The sheets did not smell clean There was hair in the bed, in the bathroom floor, and in the sink The floors had not been swept well There was debris under the sink in the bathroom They had a wonderful breakfast bar with lots of options Staff was friendly There was a roach crawling on the floor One of the guests got into a shouting match with the receptionist It was pretty disturbing Because of the language I felt like I needed to get the kids out of there As I was talking with the rest of our party we all agreed that all of our rooms were pretty nasty It was pretty much the same story across the board

Carson Fay

The room & hotel were very clean Also in a very convenient location Staff was helpful and nice

Noise levels weren’t too bad and the beds were comfortable The only thing I noticed was there was no disinfecting spray to wipe down equipment in the gym, but there was hand sanitizer in different areas of the hotel we had a great stay and will definitely stay here again next time we’re in town!!

The room was very large and so comfortable! I was able to change the temperature quickly which is a very important factor to me The halls were mostly quiet and well maintained There was an overall feeling of cleanliness which is exactly what is expected at this price point

Breakfast was abundant and more than anticipated! Theonly downside there was the neglect of the staff lead to a very long period of approximately 20 minutes without forks There were some pretty disappointing moments Our stay was spontaneous as we needed to rest while driving home from our vacation destination The bathroom shower had a gross pinkish film in the grout that was able to be scrubbed off dry, even more easily with the application of water The shampoo bottle was missing the nozzle completely which indicated to me that the shower had been completely neglected by housekeeping Also the bathroom trash can had a very large piece missing This didn’t really impact me in anyway other than further lending credibility to my theory the room had not been properly cleaned The linens for the pullout bed had also not been provided and at nearly 1 am I was required to retrieve the missing linens from the front desk where the clerk, “hoped to have them available” by the time I arrived Overall nice hotel, just seems I encountered some lacking quality control that is important

Truly disappointed in the poorest customer service I’ve ever received I’m all of my years of traveling This was the worst experience I’ve encountered at a Holiday Inn Express ever I arrived after 12am and rep came from back office to the counter with no friendly greeting, no smile just monotone voice “how can I help you”

I was in full yawn after traveling over 6 hrs and I smiled and excused myself… Rep just stood there with a straight face, no smile, no courteous small talk nothing… so I’m sensing he just wanted my information so he could return to whatever he was doing in the back I provided name and he ratted off what he needed me to provide ID, credit card and instructed me where to sign in an expressionless and monotone voice Then he proceeded to reel off the rules and times but what really hit a nerve was when he said no pets allowed I always travel with my service animals so I returned with “ your policy say service dogs are allowed” He then looks at me and says “there is no hotel in the United States that don’t allow service dogs” He continues to say that it’s against the law to ask for papers and made some other sarcastic remarks I’ve carried my dogs into other hotels and the rep usually explains no pets are allowed but service animals are permitted Period That’s it! That’s all they say not a two minute lecture on the laws and what’s acceptable in the US I was tired and exhausted so all I wanted was a friendly greeting, polite check-in and a courteous thanks for being a longtime customer of this company or even enjoy your stay At this point of my check-in I’m just thinking just hand me my keys so I can get away from this unhappy, unfriendly and rude person Management may want to coach their employees the importance of CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE is a top priority in providing Exceptional Customer Service

Cons: There was no toilet paper in the room when we checked in Had to catch a housekeeper to get some The pictures are misleading

The pool is smaller than it looks and there is no hot tub The water was murkey even though it had lots of chlorine in it, our eyes were red when we got out After swimming we went to the room to take a shower and the drain was not draining The tub filled with water Tried to call front desk, phone did not work in room so I used my cell phone Desk clerk forgot what my complaint was so she did not relay the message to the maintenance man Did not bother to call me to ask So we waited almost an hour before going downstairs to complain again She admitted she forgot and sent him up to our room to fix the problem By then it was like 9:45Pros: The day shift had great customer service The rooms look great, although the bathrooms are pretty small When we finally got to take a shower it was great, water pressure and temp perfect This hotel is in a great location Close to shopping and Interstate 75 We even went to the movies while we were here Great food and restaurants

Sherry Emerson

Impressive! Great stay at this Holiday Inn Tymia greeted us with a beautiful smile and checked us in quickly and easily The room was spotless

Tired from our long drive, Robin took great care of us at the hotel restaurant, Azaleas, which also has a nice little bar After a great night’s sleep, we returned for a delicious, very generous breakfast and more happy, hard working employees So grateful for the hospitality!

James Robinson

This hotel is clean, beds are very comfortable – that’s hard for me to find – and the breakfast is the best I’ve had at any hotel I can remember The breakfast is cooked to order, plentiful and they have turkey sausage The servers are friendly and efficient

We had seen this campground off I-75 many times, and finally decided to try it for an overnight stop We were unfortunately very disappointedWe arrived during office hours to find our information outside on their late-arrival cork board

We still went inside, but felt less-than-welcomed by the lady inside We told her we had grabbed our information, she said “ok”, waved at us, then went back to her windowed office while we perused the storeThe paved pads are extremely narrow If you are able to get your rig on it fully, you will be stepping directly outside into sand (see attached photos) Just our luck, it stormed overnight, so we had muddy sand everywhere the next morning (we had to go up the road to the next exit just so we could take the dogs out)When we arrived at around 4:30pm, it was still beautiful and sunny My husband and I looked forward to getting set up then taking a refreshing dip in the pool after a tiring drive We got to the pool only to find the gate was locked We went to the office to ask how to get in, but the office was also now closed The pool is only open when the office is open, and the online office hours shown this day was until 8:30pmOnce the rain started, I thought I would go to their laundry room and knock out some of our dirty clothes They have coin-operated washers and dryers, but no coin machine (and, as mentioned earlier, the office had already closed)The only real compliments we can give is the bath houses we quite clean and well kept, and a camp cat was very welcoming!

Complimentary cookies and wine downstairs in the lobby! Thanks for the surprise perks Pool was great Comfy king bed with separate seating area and a nice hot shower

***changed my review rating due to the breakfast lady’s attitude The complimentary breakfast ends at 9:30, I arrived downstairs at 9:33 Pretty much EVERYTHING was already put away except the yogurt and hard boiled eggs When I asked her politely for some cereal or muffins to take back upstairs – she responded with “Breakfast ends at 9:30″I said, “It’s 9:33, can you make an exception and just grab me something from behind the door for my son to eat?”Her- ” No, sorry breakfast is over”Learn to be flexible Offer breakfast til 10am or find an employee who isn’t putting the food away before 9:30 on the dot!

Nice hotel Clean and roomy Pool looked great

Nearby restaurants We walked to Cracker Barrel No outlet or USB ports on my side of the bed but his side had them and there were more on the desk 🥰We appreciated charging our EV overnight right in the parking lot

This is my favorite Choice Hotel I have stayed here several times over the years, and there is never an issue They are beginning renovations this month, but compared to a few other GA

Choice hotels, it does not need it It is always clean and quiet, the rooms are comfortable, the staff is great, and the breakfast is acceptable The location is easy on/off of I-75 My spouse and I travel a great deal thru the States of TN, GA, and FL, and my spouse agrees this is the best of the Choice hotels I think the Management and the staff have a lot to be proud of

New ownership in the past several months Owner is so kind, so accommodating and such a warm and friendly person She welcomed our kids and let them help feed the ducks and geese and goats

Love that she prefers having goats and ducks to control mosquitoes and weeds as opposed to using chemicals It’s convenient right off the highway so be sure to stop over for a night or two when passingThe bath house was clearly carefully scrubbed and sanitized often The campground is pretty with lots of nice trees and the owners have trimmed the trees to be sure to accommodate the size of big RVsThe owners kids were polite, wonderful kids who welcomed ours like cousinsWe will be sure to stop again

Really enjoyed this little campground We stopped in during our trip đown from Atlanta to Orlando It was right next to the interstate which was super convenient, but not noisy

We could hear the hum off traffic, but it wasn’t bothersome at all The host was super friendly and helped us figure out how to check in after hours We woke up to some beautiful scenery with live oaks and Spanish moss and a gorgeous little pond I highly recommend this place – you won’t be sorry you stayed here!

Discovered this gem when we ran into an issue with our tow vehicle and needed to stop unexpectedly for the next night Helpful and friendly staff Well kept grounds

Big fenced dog walk area stocked with bags We didn’t use the screened-in pool, but the idea of it seemed like a great thought Nice catch and release lake for fishing If we had a reason to be in the area for more than one night, we would definitely come back

Rooms are well thought-out with the traveler in mind This is the first hotel in southern Georgia that I have been able to drink the water from the tap – well filtered/no chlorine or other bad taste The fridge and a/c are quiet

They were very responsive to fix a minor issue when I called Beds and other furniture are comfortable, the kitchen has ample cookware and the bathroom is well stocked, to include a hair dryer The only thing I wish they could do is have windows that will open in the room The air gets stuffy and stale being completely sealed with only the a/c unit for air
