The beds were comfy, the AC worked well, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room seemed cleanThis would have been a 5 star review if it hadn’t been for how loud everything was there It’s like there is no insulation in the walls, ceiling, or floor

It seemed like we could hear everything in the whole hotel We could hear the people walking around on the floors above and below us, as well as our neighbors on our same floor Every door that was opened or shut could be heardThe hotel did provide ear plugs to use, which I thought was strange at first After a few minutes, though, I realized how necessary they were, especially if you’re a light sleeper like I am My friend wasn’t able to wear the ear plugs, so she didn’t sleep much at allIf you can sleep through anything, I would recommend this hotel If not, I would not recommend it

We stayed at this location for a week It was very comparable to being home The facility and rooms are kept immaculate and the staff attends to every need immediately

The pool, gym and library are amazing amenities The breakfast center had different food every day and us ran above efficiently If I had to say one thing negative it would be that the outside break area could be better Bigger with a better bench for sitting My fiance was nursing a knee injury and walking the short distance to the park was not an option But that said, I highly recommend staying here, it’s amazing

I’ve always loved Homewood Suites, but the two front desk people really made it memorable! Every time we walked by the front desk, the lady (I wish I got her name) was cheerful and engaging We just got back from an 11 mile walk and my son was hungry, but the prices at hotels for the convenience food is pricey We didn’t even say anything and Miguel (at the front desk) took off a couple of dollars

I know it’s something little, and I hope he doesn’t get in trouble, but that small gesture made an impression! Thank you for making our trip with our son so great! This is the second vacation he’s taken as an adult and it was a breath of fresh air Washington State and the people of Richland are some of the friendliest I’ve met! I don’t have a dog with us, but I really enjoyed seeing the Corgis and the Labradoodles! All well behaved and happy!

Brittany Arnold

Stayed here during Water Follies and had an awesome experience The front staff are exceptional – we had an issue with our booking and Chris was not only quick to fix it but was friendly, courteous and professional Every interaction with the front staff was great – so friendly and kind

Thank you for a great experience and making us feel so welcome!

The air conditioner didnt have the constant fan feature to drown out noise Pair that with the thin walls, and I could hear the guest on both sides of me just having casual conversations The worst part was bed bugs

I stay in hotels more than my own home for work And while even traveling on my own dime, I’ve never actually come across bed bugs until this stay I had woke up at 1:15am and turned on the light Caught something crawling on the pillow Thought it was just the random one off bug But then I started looking And they were crawling all over the pillows, blanket and mattress I killed a few, took some pictures of a few, packed my stuff and checked out at about 1:35amHaving never dealt with or seen bed bugs in my life, I decided to google search images of them I always thought they were tiny little fleas These bugs surely couldnt be them Wrong! The pictures I took matched the bed bug image searchSo yeah If you’re into super thin walls and hearing everything in each room next to and above you going on And like being a snack for bed bugs, this is your best bet Otherwise, I’d look elsewhere to stay I find it suspicious that there are so many reviews for this hotel that mention how clean it is Yet I practically live in hotels and have never came across bed bugs until staying here

Denise Fournier

The room was a nice room It was pretty warm when we got there so we turned the AC on Later when I turned it down we noticed a syringe in the heater vent

There wasn’t a needle on it that God We called the front desk and they came up immediately and took care of it That being said we never heard from him again, with an apology or anything

m. G,sr

Rooms have a bad design most hotels I’ve stayed in have the closest area near the door ours was in the corner near the window? And it’s not oveous either it look like a small broom closest There was a lot of wasted space with no real room to put anything, only desktop was for the tv had to hang most of my clothes over the chair The service was good

Room not so much

This hotel is nice, situated on the Columbia river Walk right out the back door to a beautiful park setting overlooking the river Just stunning

Parking was easy and I enjoyed the indoor pool each night A very special mention to front desk help, “Melody” She helped me pick out a gift wine and found gift wrap in the back for me She was a true concierge in spirit, was professional and was super resourceful in helping solve a problem Thanks again Melody!

This was a wonderful hotel! My two small daughters and I stayed here for four days while we visited my Grandpa The breakfast was always delicious, the hotel staff was so kind, and the location is amazing Right on the river with a nice, close walk to the big park

The pool and hot tub are beautiful and very well maintained, and the rooms were very comfy We will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in town

Bri Kirsch

Great location and loved the afternoon shaded balcony off our room The patio was wonderful with plants and trees to keep the temperature comfortable when it starts to get toasty, and right next to the paved trail that goes along the river for miles Both times I stayed here we walked 1

3 miles along that trail to the marina where there are some great restaurants Excellent value for the price!

Nice pool facility, great breakfast Service was friendly and the rooms are clean with comfortable beds with an even number of pillows! I requested a late checkout since I had an online meeting I couldn’t miss, they made me pay for an additional after staying there all week, even though I only stayed a couple of extra hours I certainly would have made an exception if I owned the place

Lpfjscj

Very very clean with newer carpet and paint Excellent 5* breakfast, better than most restaurants When you think you are paying a lot for the night consider the beautiful pool and hot tub and sauna that is super clean with towels provided and the huge delicious breakfast

The 4* is because the bed was so uncomfortable We were so tired that we didn’t think to try the other queen in the room but seriously every move I felt a spring make a popping noise, way too soft

Sarah Adams

Wow This was just a quick same day hotel booking not expecting much, but this hotel just gained a new life customer The rooms were clean and fairly big and roomy

Good easy to use good water pressure shower Prime location right next to walmart and McDonald’s The free hot breakfast was so awesome and accommodating They had gluten free options and dairy free options Scrambled eggs, and sausage, and hashbrowns

The room was very nice The shower curtain didn’t go all the way to the floor though so the whole bathroom floor would get pretty wet Almost all the ice makers were broken

The spa never got hot It was about 75° even at night when the temps dropped The doors that led out to the river trail were not able to be opened with a card key so I had to walk through planters and way around to return to the conference rooms after break There was a dog in the room next to me that was allowed to bark with no intervention by staff The restaurant/bar had limited hours It would have been nice to grab a snack or latte during the conference but meals were only available at specific times The hotel was overall nice with just a few minor things that would have made things nicer when staying there for a week The location is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and accommodating Stephanie went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met during our scheduled meals

Leslie Pilease

This place is amazing the restaurant has an amazing atmosphere definitely a fancy vibe My server was Kelly and she was so nice and was super quick to order and refill my drink Jose was the chef who did an amazing steak was definitely top of the line

The view of the river is great Cant wait to stay again!

Passing by Kennewick to get to Tacoma Stayed here for 1 night It seems like it’s a newer building so it “smells new” and still very spotlessly clean

Got a corner room, one wall facing the main highway and the window facing the front parking lot Everyone from the staff were very respectful and courteous The room we got was very clean and, well organized and no bugs Complimentary breakfast was pretty standard: breakfast sausages, scrambled eggs, some fruits, they also have a waffle maker, juices, coffee and water Overall a great stay overnight!

Kirk Maringer

Very nice and clean hotel with friendly staff I really enjoyed the breakfast and check out at noon We stayed for the state baseball championship game and it’s really close to Gesa Stadium and right next to the sports facility for baseball and soccer

There are also plenty of food options within walking distance of the hotel It’s definitely a great place to stay

Breanna Lien

We stayed 7/8 and a hot water heater was down so we had no hot water The staff said it would just take longer to heat back up which would have been fine but it never worked after trying multiple times I even got up at 5am assuming most people wouldn’t be up and using it but still no luck

It was a disappointment to not be able to fully shower in the middle of a 21 hour drive I asked the front desk if we could get a discount as I wouldn’t have paid over $200 for a room without hot water but she said the manager wasn’t there and she’d leave a message and check on rooms As of today no one has called me Otherwise the room was comfortable but I wouldn’t stay again due to the poor communication and lack of sense of urgency regarding fixing the situationI’m editing this to say that the hotel replied to this review saying I would be contacted and weeks have gone by…still no contact I just tried calling and no one answers the phone

We had a smooth check in and a great time at the pool The cookies were a nice surprise and the push button pancake maker delighted the grandkids They were also very tasty

I thought all of the staff seemed upbeat and nice Bella helped with reservation and a nice young man helped with check in A sweet lady with an accent from a different country helped in the dining area and was doing a GREAT JOB of keeping things clean 👍 Thank you everyone 😊

Excellent customer service Really bummed about the hot tub being closed We were really looking forward to that

When I called about the pool, no one mentioned the hot tub being down The breakfast was truly amazing for hotel breakfast The room was great & beds were some of the best we’ve ever slept on Love Holiday Inn Express hotels a lot

Ian Starry

I had an absolutely great experience My room was nicer than I expected, it had a jacuzzi style tub in the bathroom that I loved The pool and hot tub are open 24 hours, so I went swimming multiple times a day

The complimentary breakfast buffet was the best I have ever had There were 2 types of pre-made omelettes, biscuits and gravy, a pancake maker, a variety of pastries, hard boiled eggs, bacon, sausage, and cereal (the options vary slightly day to day) There were probably more things I forgot about They even have cookies and milk from 6-8 I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel

This RV park says its a RV resort Yes it has a swimming pool, hot tub, washer dryers and a rec room, but that is stretch

This is off the Hwy and on a hill This RV has 200 sites and 90% percent of this park is FULL TIME folks who live and work in the local area This is not an RV park as a destination You can get your mail there or AMAZON packages They have a huge office with all kinds of items to buy The areal views looks like all the pads or gravel with cement pads so you can use it for your tables and chairs That is only for monthly sites not weekly sites as you are in the middle stripe of the park The weekly rate is VERY Expensive $38300 dollars to have gravel pads for both the RV and your site The monthly rate 43000 plus electricity The park is a clean park and has sprinkler heads that come on every morning and trash your site with water Not sure I would come back, but if you need a place to stay its very reasonable

N and C Farrell

We stayed overnight at the Horn Rapids RV Park Greeted warmly by the park host and given a sizable folder with information on the park and things to do around town Driving into the park, it seems catered to longer term residents with the vast majority of the sites dedicated to them

The sites were generally okay but a number were seriously cluttered or lacking in upkeep The interior roads were paved and manageable Our site was a combination of concrete on the front and back of the pad with the main portion gravel The sites are pretty close together (could hear the kids running in their rv next door with our windows closed) but have nice strips of grass between them Unfortunately, the WiFi and cable was not working and the cell signal was weak for T-Mobile and Verizon Calling it a resort is stretching it a bit and would rate it a 37 but have to round up for the review platforms to a 40 But if in this area in the future, would consider consider staying here again

Carlene Hanson

One of the best RV parks in the country Everything is great except there is no WFI We even tried to get WiFi inside building

None, but that’s okay It’s just that I was told we would have WiFi We don’t We can live without it Neighbors are the best and friendly, There are no managers of RV parks who are good, but these managers are better than most

Stayed 2 nights July 1 and 2, 2022 Cost was $42500

Imagine my surprise when we returned to our room the evening of July 1st and the beds were not made, no new clean towels and no coffee pods Went to the desk and asked why room wasn’t cleaned and was informed it was because of covid They now only clean the rooms every third day What a lame excuse For $42500 you would think they could clean the room Will never stay there again

Cory Holt

My moving truck broke down and there was no where to go I showed up to this hotel at 5 in the morning to see if I could get a last minute room, the doors are locked so I had to call the front desk, after waiting for 20 minutes the worker finally showed up and told me she has rooms but check in is at 3pm and hung up the phone essentially telling me she won’t let me pay for the two days (last night, and tonight)Luckily the Hilton Garden Inn next door was super accommodating! They were able to get me and my dogs into a room, even giving me a discount for checking in at 5:30

Like a time machine to the 70’s this pink bathroomed, leather futoned, rambler looks like an old folks home on the exterior, and exactly the same on the inside Comfortable for a large party with beds and bedding hidden in every nook and cranny Large tables for drinking, dining or gaming, and televisions in every room for when you’re tired of your friends

It’s conveniently located and will serve you nicely on your wine weekend getaway

Maria Hansen

Owner walked through the house while we were staying there and went through the rooms “inspecting” how we were treating the house Did not stick to the previously agreed-upon payment plan Showed up at the door late one night demanding payment early as he was “heading out of town very early the next day” and yet he still managed to stop by later the next day and go through each of the rooms we were staying in

Was a nice option to stay together as a group instead of getting a block of hotel rooms, but there was something just off about the ownersAlso, the house smelled like an old litter box combined with wet dog Not sure if previous travelers had a pet with them or if it was the owners, but definitely could have used a deep cleaning before we visited

This place used to be good, however I stayed there 4/12 to 13/22 and was really let down I found out they did NOT report my stays to Choice for my points for the last 3 stays I was also told (by the manager) they no longer want be to stay there? ) The reason being the clerk that checked me in was to lazy and flat refused to look up the pre-paid authorization letter in her file and demanded another credit card

Finally after calling the manager the clerk gave us a room which was on the opposite side of the complex from the handicap access (wife is handicapped) making it extremely difficult it was then that we found it wasn’t a handicapped room, when I asked for a different room to accommodate the wife (handicapped access) the clerk gave us another room that was Handicapped the issue here was we couldn’t open the door and neither could the clerk after several tries The clerk then gave us the room next door that the door did open and we had access However there was an issue again The lamp on the desk was burned out? I went to the desk again and asked for the bulb to be changed The clerk stated there is no one there until the following day to change it I asked for a bulb and I would change it, at which time the clerk had to call the manager to get approval to give me a bulb? I will not stay at this place again I highly recommend finding a DIFFERENT PLACE UNTIL THEY FIND PEOPLE THAT ARE COMPETANT TO RUN A HOTEL I am surprised they are still a member of CHOICE HOTELS

An absolutely wonderful night spent along the river My wife and I stopped through on a brief road trip The Grandparents were kind enough to care for our toddler for the weekend and The Lodge provided a much-needed getaway

The room was spectacular, well appointed with a nicely stocked wine selection The view of the river was gorgeous, the walkout patio was peaceful and serene, and the bed provided the best night’s sleep in what felt like monthsAccess to the Riverfront trail is literally steps from the balcony and a peaceful evening walk was the perfect end to a long day in the carIt seems silly to actually talk about now, but the lotion the hotel provides in the bathroom is exceptionally nice Unfortunately I didn’t catch the brand, but my wife raved about it!The restaurant, Drumheller’s, is almost unbelievably good and blows all other potential dining locations around it out of the waterOverall, the experience was so good we are now trying to find out how to return with our son and (large) dog for another wonderful weekend Thank you to the staff for making our stay exceptional!

This was a somewhat last minute trip as my grandmother passed away unexpectedly Booking was extremely easy, as was check in & check out The only reason I’m not giving The Lodge 5 stars all around is because of the room we were in smelled HORRIBLE! We mentioned it at checkout & were told it was probably the new carpet

It smelled like formaldehyde & it was absolutely overwhelming Thankfully the room had big doors we could open for fresh air Wine available as well which helped too lol Would we stay here again? Yes! Do we feel that room & new carpet should’ve been aired out or ventilated prior to occupants staying? Also yes! Someone had to have walked into that room prior to our reservation & known it was damn near unbearable!
