I’m not one for reviews but Brooke at the Peter Herdic Inn went above and beyond and I couldn’t not share the experience The day of our reservation, she texted to find out what time we’d be arriving and to see if we wanted to make dinner reservations When our 6 hour drive turned into a 9 hour debacle, we arrived exhausted but found a beautiful inn and lovely rooms

Even though the restaurant had closed an hour before, Brooke brought us wine and made sure we had everything we needed, including helping me wrestle my dog’s crate out of the car The next morning, we had the most spectacular breakfast, also thanks to Brooke and a colleague If you come through this area, stay here It will be a very special experience, trust me

Simplifying this – there are 2 Peter Herdic Inns: one a great B&B and the other one a fine dining establishment Thankfully they are next-door to each other in unique and historic homes so not knowing what you want unrevealing five stars to both

They do Oysters Rockefeller better than any place I found in NYC, everything on the menu is a joy – also very good wines were not horribly marked up (which I hateh

My Fiancé and I are staying at the Liberty for a few months while our out of state move plans are finalized The employees are personable, nice, and the entire place has been so accommodating The accepted our cats and have been up front with everything

I would say the only place I can see an improvement is the washing machine and dryer The dryer is a little out of date and I’ve had to spend a little more coinage to use it to dry a small load of laundry The vending machines have also very much so seen better days, but again, not horribleOther than that, this is definitely a decent place to stay if you’re looking for an extended stay area Thanks so much for being great!

Jennifer Curtis

The most unprofessional place I’ve ever stayed at Walked int, the employees were on the phones, we did not get greeted As we were trying to check in, the girl who must have been leaving was really distracting the lady trying to check us in

Made her go check her work schedule and proceeded to call the other employees “assholes” and continued to swear in front of my husband and IThe room was fine, nothing special, you have to check into the Econolodge to get into your room at the Liberty Lodge At least it was clean

Kerri Wilson

Great deal on room Had a clean room when we got there They allowed us to check in early since we arrived early

Since we had our door open, the housekeepers would come by, as they were cleaning other rooms, and ask if we needed or would like anything The parking lot was blocked off enough that the kids could throw a frisbee back and forth and only had to move for a few vehicles coming through in the middle of the day It was great

The Best Western in Williamsport was okay but when I got into my room it was absolutely disgustingly dirty I pulled the covers back off the bed and there was stuff on the bed including a dead bug There was a fork and crumbs on the floor next to the microwave

The microwave was sitting on the floor and there was no refrigerator It was awful So I went down they gave me another room that room had some kind of chemical smell which later I think was probably carpet cleaner The room itself was definitely cleaner than the other one and there was no garbage laying around but the floor seemed like it was kind of squishy In the morning when I woke up and took a look at my feet when I got in the shower they were dirty black colored sticky and that dirt came off and washed down the drain it was disgusting So I actually had a couple extra towels with me and I put towels down on the carpet to prevent me from walking on that rug The breakfast was okay The staff tried to help me out The pool was nice but that carpet in that room was awful I don’t think I could rate this better than a two star hotel It was also dump trucks in the semi trucks pulling in and out of the parking lot

Joanna Yoder

We chose not to stay here after smelling the room The room smelled strongly of weed It was dirty and disgusting

They did refund our room without question However it is very disconcerting when you come in late in the evening to an unfamiliar town and almost every hotel is booked We almost couldn’t find another hotel This was a very stressful experience If I were you, I would not pick this hotel unless you are in fact the one who skunked it up

We really enjoyed our visit here! Some of the sites were kind of small or a challenge to park in if you have a large camper, but there were plenty that would be fine The pool was nice and the whole campground was very clean I felt it was well maintained and we had fantastic neighbors (that is luck, but they pull in great people)

The restaurant was tasty and there was karaoke on Thursday, plus a live band on Fri and Sat night The campground is right next to a great park for kids so that was a bonus We picked this campground for the location to nearby attractions and are certainly glad we did!

I had a 2 days of classes for work Got there a little late the first night and the front desk staff was so pleasant and cheerful Made my drive worth it

My room had a shared living place but different living quarters Breakfast started at 6:30 am and was awesome And there is free parking if you stay at the Inn for the parking garage A must stay!!!!!

Business trip for a week I stayed in a king bed room that was plenty comfortable I enjoyed the snacks and beverages in the lobby for social interaction and walked to several great places to eat close to the hotel

My room was clean and fresh, just wished housekeeping would have replaced used bathroom items during my stay I no I could have gotten more towels from the front desk, just doesn’t seem like I should have to when I’ve stayed a full week

The Log Cabin is easily becoming one of our family’s favorite spots when everyone is in town Great food (especially the New York Strip/Delmonico steak and numerous seafood dishes) and great seasonal cocktail menu Even the more selective eaters in our family group were able to find meals they enjoyed from the American-style menu

It is a good place to go if you’re looking for more of a family-oriented sports bar feel (though they DO have a dining room separate from the bar area if preferred) Just be sure to call ahead for reservations during the busy hours!

A perfectly enjoyable late afternoon experience! It is clearly evident in each mouthful of food that Mike takes great pride in everything he prepares! We enjoyed the BEST “Medium Well” steak with fresh crushed garlic, olive oil & Mike’s secret spice The baby neck steamed clams were tender & very tasty Our Garlic Parm Wings were JUICY Not greasy Large with plenty of meat on the bone! Special was a BBQ chicken cheese wrap-which did not disappoint So Big! Mike & his lovely server treated us “like family”

HIGHLY RECOMMEND this cozy, clean, fresh hidden gem! Looking forward to enjoying the “deck” on our next visit

Allyson Haggerty

It was ok Waitress was nice and good with our kids I requested the chicken park and she let me know that it is no longer breaded and only grilled (very strange) I tried to come up with an alternative and nothing was really standing out, so I ordered the special

She didn’t share the price, but it was $45, over two times the cost of any other listed menu item It wasn’t good, the crab cake was falling apart because they left it in melted butter, it lacked flavor beyond butter The scallops weren’t sautéed, just baked in butter On top of our $100+ they added a credit card fee Not worth the cost

The Genetti is awesome I was visiting with my boyfriend so he could show me his old stomping grounds from when he was in college He said “We have to stay at the Genetti!” I am so glad we did

It was clean, the staff was nice, the price was reasonable and the breakfast was fantastic Not some defrosted garbage Real eggs, real homemade home fries, etc I was sad I never made it to their restaurant, but we only stayed the night Also, shout out to Lorena I had forgotten my necklace, which was made by a friend who is no longer with us, in the room and Lorena was right on the case She took care of it quickly and professionally She got my jewelry back to me and saved me a tremendous amount of heartache We will definitely be staying there again when we pass through next time It has a lot of old world charm and class that you do not see anymore 10+ stars

Tina Helm-Bittenbender

We usually use the Genetti when staying in Williamsport PA It’s an older hotel But, I love the charm of the place

Prior to the pandemic, it was super easy to get room service etc We were not able to do that during our recent visit We were able to order door dash and also order from the restaurant at the lower level for take awayThe hotel staff and everyone we encountered were friendly, helpful, and courteousThanks GenettiWe appreciate you

So, I can’t say anything bad about the comfort of the rooms because they are what I would expect The issue is that the wireless network is terrible when in the rooms Neither my phone or my computer could get a strong enough signal to stay reliably connected when sitting at the desk or on the bed

Had to setup the side table at the door to get an OK signal (3 bars) that did not drop out Once connected the network was pretty fastI stayed at the neighboring IHG property (they are physically connected) the last time in town and had the same problem so was hoping it would be better at this property and it wasn’t Have to find another hotel to stay at in the future

Fantastic experience! Our King Studio Suite was one of the nicest rooms we’ve ever stayed in Everything was clean and in good working order, and there is a ton of space in the suite The staff have been friendly and helpful, and the hotel is clean and very well maintained

The indoor pool and hot tub are open from 5am to 11pm and are also in great shape We will definitely return to this location, and recommend it to friends! The King Studio Suite has a king bed, pull out couch, and desk in the main space The kitchen alcove has a table, sink, coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge (no freezer, oddly) The bathroom has a large walk-in shower with glass doors

The room was pretty standard fair for the price range Very clean and comfortable, we all slept easy on the beds And four pillows to a bed, what a treat

Breakfast was good with lots of help yourself selection The place truly shines with its employees Everyone was fantastic, but Millie at the front desk was exceptional, they have a great employee there The location can’t be beat There is a grocery store and many restaurants in walking distance, a state park very close by And a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains The kids loved Hopefully we can make it back sometime Thanks everyone there

Of all the Hampton Inns, actually all the Hilton properties that I’ve ever stayed at, this was by far the worst First, my digital key didn’t work – maybe it was my phone, but all my other app features worked just fine Front desk ‘reset’ it, still had to use key cards

I’m a Hilton Honors member, yet I had to ask for my water (Never asked for the snack, so that was not received) Not a deal breaker, but why do I have to ask? I think a crucial insulation step was missed during construction I understand ambient hotel noise, but the level coming through was unlike any other property I know hearing showers running is common, however the toilets flushing and people talking in their rooms down the hall, not next to me, were loud and clear Lastly, this is the deal breaker, the room was dirty, not to mention the common areas including elevators If the room was vacuumed it was not done well, shower had remnants I will not mention specifically because I cringe at the thought Overall and in most every way, the most disappointing Hilton experience in years

I come to the area twice a year, I’ve stayed at this location before but this time it made me cringe I know the bedding was not changed There was too much hair in it along with what I’d guess was mascara smudges

I pulled off the fitted sheet, called the front desk for a new one only while waiting I looked at the mattress pad and flat sheet they were stained The comforter was ripped and the bed skirting had who knows what on it I know they had a busy weekend but come on! I’ll spare the pictures The young girl at the front desk was nice at check in

Christine B

I stay at Comfort Inns all the time when I’m on the road for work This was the worst experience I have ever had I was woken up at 4am by the staff out in the lobby talking at the top of their lungs

I finally called the front desk and Brittany answered the phone I asked her to PLEASE ask them to keep it down She said, “I’m sorry,” then hung up on me They not only didn’t stop their extremely loud conversation, they actually got louder and it went on for hoursI’m exhausted The staff is rude and inconsiderate Also, when I went to pack up my dog’s food bowl, it was covered in ants
