Perfect location for access to everything without the hassle and noiseRooms are well appointed with everything one may need because after all, why come to NYC just to stay in your room?!The decor is exquisitely curated with photos, props, and set designs from Broadway shows and life The design of the entire hotel gives a feel of behind the scenes/ back stage access that delivers both excitement and comfort

I was warmly welcomed and look forward to my future visitsThe staff throughout the hotel (Check-in/out to GM) were exemplary! The entire team is accommodating and they are stewards to hold this gem carefully for all to enjoy

Charlie Jennifer

Very cool vibe… Tons of theatre artifacts & images Outstanding decorations & creature comforts Friendly, eager to please staff

Rooms & bar very clean Huge pillows on bed Breakfast had cappuccino, pastries, bagels, yogurt and fresh fruit The fresh cut fruit was delicious, but wish they had a protein option such as hard boiled eggs Location is close to all theaters 🎭 Loved it & going to make this our new hotel for weekend getaways to see shows!

Priscilla Falcon

This was my first time at this hotel and it did not disappoint! The mobile check-in is the best I’ve ever experienced The Staff were all very nice The decor throughout is beautiful and the room, although small, is thoughtfully designed to make you feel comfortable

I was in a cozy queen and the only item I would recommend for that room is a hanger to be able to use the clothes steamer (which they provide) Breakfast was perfect for either sit down or grab and go The restaurant/bar atmosphere is also very pleasant Highly recommend!!

They clean your room every other day due to COVID-19 However, they give you clean towels and sheet per your requestI was very unhappy about that when checking out

Andrea at the reception is a nice representative of the hotel who was helpful to us Had she not compensated the inconvenience for us, I would be rating the hotel lower than this But I think their customer service is excellent So they deserve a 4-star review

Anthony McLean

Big suites for a very reasonable price, spacious parking, always friendly, helpful and courteous staff The fact that the room has amenities like large fridge, big powerful microwave, dishwasher(!), coffee heater, cups, plates, utensils, swivel TV and more is a huge plus When I return to the U

S, I always stay here Very quiet area with close proximity to Met Life Stadium, Teterboro Airport and the highway in to NYC and all areas of New Jersey There’s also a Costco, Lowe’s, Starbucks and other top stores, restaurants, etc nearby Love the place!

A A

Rooms were wide but the washing basins were clogging Breakfast food options were very limited The pool was closed so kids did not enjoy and they say this is till the end of the year for renovation

They always let you go to reception for any request as there is no staff! I do not know how they operate a Marriott hotel like this! Couple of employees were short tempered and with all of that the hotel is making us pay premium prices I would not recommend staying here

This was the best hotel experience I’ve had so far in recent years The room is a good size where you can walk around The view was terrific and you can smell, see and sense the cleanliness of the room

Everything is neat I love the feature added to the card/key that besides opening your room it’s also needed to use any power in the room, lights, climate, TV, etc The service was excellent, breakfast included, that it’s a buffet one, not continental, and to add the breakfast is a very well organized thing they have There will be always an available clean table for you and someone to help you get thereI believe from now on this hotel will be my first option to stay in I highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in New York Manhattan if you are planning to be close to Times Square, Broadway theaters

Graham Southward

Very nice hotel only a block away from Times Square The room we stayed in was a little on the small side to what we were expecting for NYC, although it may have felt that way as the bed was huge & very comfortable!Room was cleaned daily and towels changed if requiredBar and restaurant staff were very friendly and professional and both areas were well presented and clean

We were not expecting to queue every morning for breakfast, but I have to say, the hotel was very busy when we stayed and it is a well oiled machine and the staff are obviously used to busy periods and we were never queuing for more than 5 minutes, brilliant reallyOn the downside, we found the reception staff a little less courteous, always gave us the feeling they wanted rid of you as quickly as possible if you went and asked for advice, directions or something and on one particular time, a member of staff gave us incorrect info regarding public transport If you are working in front line services, you need to know what you tell people is factually correct, or if not, at least say, you aren’t sure then we could of double checked, but never mind, not the end of the world! We were bed & breakfast during our stay and I have to say the choice of food at breakfast was amazing 👏🏽👏🏽 every kind of breakfast food to suit everyone no matter where in the world you came from, and all very fresh too! Fantastic! The hotel is well decorated, clean, comfortable, safe and so busy, just what you’d expect from the centre of NYC but I would give one recommendation, but this is for New York in general, not just this hotelTake some ear plugs for bedtime, the New York drivers like to honk their vehicle horns!! 🤪 🚕 🚗 🚖 🚒 🚑 🚚 🤣

I stayed at this hotel in the middle of March 2020, and this hotel seemed to be popular This hotel is very clean, and the staff is friendly They have a good bar and cafe inside

The restaurant where I had a buffet was so good The location is convenient too Times Square and the theater are walkable I was cautious because the shows ended around 10 pm, and I needed to go back to the hotel on foot, but I could safely come back Highly recommended!

The rooms were incredible I stayed over for a bodybuilding competition near the hotel The room was a spacious, modern suite with full kitchen—refrigerator, microwave, mini–stove, and dishwasher

This was very convenient since I brought meals for the bodybuilding show The front desk staff was especially helpful and accommodating Definitely will stay here again One of the best hotels I’ve experienced

Michael Dias

Nice hotel Made reservations through Reservationscom for a Homewood Suites room with a Manhattan view

When checking in, I was told the room description did not match the listing on Reservationscom Despite room availability, I was given a non-view room on the Hampton Inn side of the hotel I feel this dispute between Reservationscom and Hilton should not result in a room downgrade for a prepaid visit I certainly won’t be using a third party to book in the future I’m undecided about staying here again

Joseph Park

We were not assigned our room until an hour after check in time (3:00) It was only after I asked to speak with the manager was anything actually done about it Please do not take on the capacity if you are not able to handle it

If anything, at least notify guests that rooms will not be ready by the expected time period This was a very special weekend for many people visiting Teaneck and for me, it happened to be tainted by the hotel staff’s inability to accommodate and communicate clearly

Listen! I love this place! The location is amazing you have the park and the river front around the corner and Penn station right down the street from ferry street! On top of the service friara and his wife prove an excellent service The rooms are cleaned and well maintained and make sure you’re comfortable during your stay They are very accommodating and will be coming back! They are responsive and very hands with any issues you have

Munashe Shumba

I’ve been so pleasantly surprised by this place! It is as beautiful as the photos The floors are in pristine condition, kitchen appliances are modern, stainless steel, the bathroom is clean, no mold, looks new, each guest has their own access code which grants access to only the appropriate apartment and bedroom which is perfect for security in a place shared by many It’s very clear a lot of love and money went into putting this place together

The spaces are also cleaned frequently and there’s a robot vacuum that periodically cleans common spaces Host/owner pops in to check in on guests every day or two There’s an efficient system to keep everything running smoothly from name tags in the fridge to lockable cupboards in the bedrooms The rules are very clear and sensible -keep your stuff in cupboard, cleanup after yourself, no sleeping on the couches, be fully dressed all the time- just how to be a decent human when you share a space with others This place is also very affordable! The neighborhood is lovely and feels safe There’s a gorgeous bike path and park a block away by the canal/river and there is another park with tennis courts 3-5 mins walking distance away 15 mins walking distance from Harrison Path and also from a strip with banks, shops, etc This place is for people who know how to live considerately of others The rest are going to spoil this gem for everyone else

Jermaine Cacho

Great place to stay with an even better price! Especially for the amazing quality you get Mixed dorms, however women get their own room and aren’t mixed into rooms with menIt’s exceptionally clean and very comfortable, as well as relaxing

The guest tend to respect one another and I never once felt concerned for any of my belongings turning up missing Many are actually very helpful to other guestsClean kitchens and all are welcome to use it as they please The owner, Mr Faria, is reasonable and always willing to helpI’m so honesty, it took some getting used to sleeping in bunks again at my age lol, but it was comfortable and I got along with my bunk matesIt’s not your typical hostel, it’s more like a bed and breakfast, only you make your own breakfast lolYou can’t beat the price for the quality

April 6, 2022 Checking in again and this hotel is still excellent service from the manager to the front desk and service and to the maintenance mechanic They all go out of their way to accommodate

The rooms are great, quiet and very clean The atmosphere makes you feel at home, great view of river and the American Dream, and places to eat A must stay

Shannon Willis

I have ear plugs in and can still hear traffic revving by It is very loud here all hours of the day and night There are nights I can’t sleep without ear plugs

Very very thin walls as I can hear the person in the room next to mine on the phone at times The sound of kids crying fills the halls and can be heard through the wall Sticky floors in kitchen, elevator and stairwell Wouldn’t stay again!

It was an outstanding experienceCheck-in and checkout absolutely seamless and totally autonomousThe room was cozy

The bed very comfortableAlso plenty of space in closet and furnitureThe desk has been also useful for some office workThe amount of towels was adequate for my 4 days stayI liked also the view on the street from my 2 windows I also had view on the Central Park Tower, it is so high that emerged in the view, I wasn’t expecting thatThe common area at the entrance has complimentary coffee and tea available and space to relax or workThe location is just perfect Personally I love Hell’s Kitchen, you are practically in Midtown but you are also in a relatively not touristically exploited environment Moreover you are so close to Hudson River Park which is among my favorite spots for running

Anna Ricci

We were pleasantly surprised by not only the location, but how quiet our room was, especially for NYC It is hard to pick a hotel based on just the photos alone, but this place was true to their word It was very clean, the a/c was great, and the outdoor patio was really nice

It was really nice that we could get coffee first thing in the morning down in the small kitchen!! We would definitely stay here again!!!

Ellen Ives

The Duffy is not fancy or glamorous, but it is clean, comfortable, has all the essentials and is in a good location We loved the ease of check-in and the low fuss aspect of staying there We had a room in the back building and it was very quiet

The Kasa team were very quick to answer questions by text We will definitely stay here again and will try other locations as well

I booked 3 rooms, got them on the same floor I wiped everything with my Clorox wipes and was happy to see no dirt or even dust! The bartender was nice, the restaurant was closed off but kitchen was still open, we ordered food and ate by the bar The location was great, restaurants in walking distance and the train to NYC was nearby too which is where we spent most of the days

Beds were super comfy…my toddler and infant slept well and my parents and in laws stated they slept comfortably Overall good experience here and will book again when visiting

Marianna Mansour

Had to book a block of rooms for several directors for a corporate offsite nearby Karen was very nice and accommodating Everyone was very impressed with their rooms

It was much more than they were expecting I liked my waterfront view, the comfy bed, and the amenities They even offered extending our rate to others outside our company who had to meet us in town Karen even followed up to make sure we were happy Service was excellent!

Jenn Q

Our stay was mostly pleasant My biggest complaint is that two of the elevators need to be serviced The sensors do not work

For most of our stay we dealt with the doors closing on us as we walked in, but we dealt with it because it bumped either my husband or myself But when our four year old was pushed down into the elevator and onto the floor because the door began to close on her, that was not okay Thankfully I was able to put my arm and leg in to prevent the elevator from completely closing on her feet I reported it to the front desk They were apologetic and said they would have someone come out and service the elevator We checked out that same day, so I’m not sure if it actually happened Our room was okay We didn’t use the sofa bed because it was worn and looked like it needed to be replaced The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly There was a lot of dust and a used Q-tip on the shelf underneath the sink where our “clean” towels were The shelf clearly had not been wiped in a while Thankfully, I always travel with Lysol wipes and Lysol spray I cleaned that area and we asked for a clean set of towels Would I stay here again, I’m not sure It would depend on if the elevators were actually fixed The other issues were manageable

I was staying here because a friend was getting married in Patterson The hotel is currently under renovation and as such, is hard to judge I had a double queen bedroom for two nights and it was clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable

I originally had a king for one night, but the staff was helpful in accommodating for 2 nightsI like that checkout is noon, it allowed me to sleep in a little bit and not rush to leave I also liked that the continental breakfast ran until 10am Really a nice change from other hotels that are done by 8am The food was okay, but it was free and it changed between Friday and Saturday which was coolI have no complaints, it’s a solid hotel in my experience

Tarik Ghiradella

Service was great The newly renovated rooms and lobby are beautiful They have entertainment some evenings in the lobby and it’s really quite nice

My only complaint is the location which can’t really be helped The hotel is quite isolated but there are places to eat within a decent driving distance

April Elansari

This was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced The staff at the front desk was extremely rudeMy stay was for a wedding and they caused me to miss the family pictures and part of the ceremony because our room was not ready until 1 hour and 30 minutes PAST CHECK IN TIME (3PM)!On top of that, the staff told me they would hold the shuttle and they did NOT

which meant I had to UberLASTLY THE POOL WAS CLOSED AND THEY DID NOT TELL US PRIORDO NOT STAY HERE!

Perfect hotel Great restaurants near by and the free breakfast had something for everyone The free coffee was good and there is a Dunkin about 20′ away

It was a 5 minute walk to the bus station that took 20 minutes to get you to the city 5 minutes from met life, but was in a nice quite location for the family I will be staying here for any trips going forward and highly recommend

Justyna Davy

This hotel and its stuff live up to Marriott’s expectations! We had great stay, loved everything about it! From front desk staff to the clean spacious rooms, the pool, breakfast was absolutely delicious with staff quickly and efficiently refilling food Location is really nice too! We will definitely revisit in future if passing by that area !

Anthony’s Tech 101

Had a fantastic weekend stay at this Residence Inn Hotel with my family! Upon check in, the guy at the front desk was super welcoming, answered our questions and also a very funny guy too, it was a very smooth check in process! And free parking is nice too!Our King bedroom #324 was excellent! Very clean upon arrival, the room has a nice modern appearance, it has power outlets and USB ports all over the room, a pull out couch for the kids, and the best part: it has a full kitchen with GE appliances in case you don’t want to be eating out all the time The king bed was very comfortable and the sheets were clean The Samsung TV has a good amount of channels to watch, and you can swivel to different parts of the room which is cool

Our room also had a decent window view of NYC with the One World Trade Center peaking thru, but I’m sure the higher floors have a better view than us The bathroom is large, and the shower is really nice, however, one small annoyance, adjusting and turning on/off the shower is very confusing, one way says off, but it doesn’t turn off until you turn it all the way around the other way… the instructions on the handle for the shower are misleading and confusingThe hotel amenities were great too! The indoor pool is small but decent and clean, and it can be crowded especially on a Saturday night with families taking a dip, but early in the morning when it opens at 7am is the best bet when no one is there so you can have the whole pool to yourself Fitness center is nice as well and has great workout equipment Guest Laundry is only $150, not bad Breakfast was great too, it’s free, and it has pancakes, eggs, sausage, and healthy items too! And a nice coffee bar to get you up in the morning! Lobby is also very modern and inviting, and outside, it has a front door access to all the shops and restaurants in the mall, and a nice patio with seats and a fireplace and a BBQ grill for cookoutsOverall the stay was superb! We needed a hotel close to the American Dream Mall and the MetLife Stadium, and we felt we hit the jackpot with this hotel! We will definitely be booking here again if we come back to Jersey!*Attached to this review, I have a lot of photos I took of this property, take a look!

The evening bartender was a solid 5 – kind, friendly, efficient and attentiveThe front desk worker was disappointing because of some billing errors and because he would not split incidentals off of a company card and put them on my card Despite several requests he refused and told me it was not possible

After checking out, I called back and was able to do it over the phone with him FrustratingAlso, lighting in the rooms was poor and unlike the photos presentedReally good food too In fact, everyone in the restaurant was fantastic

Chris “BostonGreekGeek” Vaxevanis

It looks like your typical Marriot, clean rooms, large entrance hall, bar, lounge ample parkingMy issue is that this place has no electric vehicle chargers which I feel is a must for any new construction This hotel was built in 2018 and they put no electric vehicle chargers? How is the world meant to transition to electric vehicles, when new hotels don’t care enough to include doors with that included? Also for a new construction I was surprised at how paper thin the walls were at I could hear other rooms every night

Not the same ones so you could day I just had lots neighbors Different people at different timesFinally I have pictures of how the outlets next to the night stands just come straight up They aren’t fixed in the stands or anything That is poor workman shipOverall it is clean and looks good, so if those details don’t bother you, your stay will be great However I can’t give a higher rating to a place that isn’t trying better

Jim Anderschat

Two forms of GPS may be necessary in finding this property! Why on Earth would they build a hotel buried behind office complexes, I don’t know But, if you find it, a decent hotel! Like all Courtyards, no included breakfast, everything comes at a priceThe room was nice, but my problem with this hotel is the location

If you want to go out to eat, you will need a car as this place is the last stop on the tracks, surrounded by offices and highways No good walking available Doubt we would stay here again Good if you work in the nearby offices

Clean space, clean room and clean bathroom Didn’t use the kitchenetteUber had no trouble finding the place

Breakfast was simple but enough choices with multi egg optionsRoom door was sticking and had to pull hard to shutThe only issue I had was the lack of drinking water options Except for a cooler in the gym, nothing else A couple of bottles water per room per day adds up to less than 50 cents but can make a guest feel a lot more welcomeStill deserving of the 5 stars

I was shocked when I entered the hotel room on how beautiful it was…room was spacious and tv was big enough made me feel like I was on in my own private room There’s a shared door in the room with a guest that may or may not be next door The bathroom was very nice the shower could have been a lot harder with the water coming down & the door the door was kinda weird it was hard opening it back once you closed it, pretty much gotta have a nice grip for that door

& FYI don’t go past there coffee machine! I say everyone must try it! I’m not really a early bird so I missed breakfast at the hotel but there coffee is always there at the front of the hotel where it stay nice and warm I recommend trying it before you head out and start your day 🙂

Absolutely the best place I have stayed in a long time The staff is friendly and attentive The beds are extremely comfortable

The rooms are decorated beautifully and extremely cleanTravelling with small children is never an easy task but this place made it enjoyable From the pool, to the continental breakfast, to the overall accommodations, I would highly recommend and return to this location I also had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with Joe Novak As a franchisee owner, you can see his vision and passion in this location (and I’m certain it is reflective in the others as well) Making people feel like they are home has truly been accomplishedThank you to Gio (the General Manager) and his staff for running such a great hotel!

Excellent stop for the night as we were passing through Rooms were a little dated but seemed to be well kept Great location with ample parking

Breakfast was a nice touch, nothing fancy but was enough different options Very warm receptionists and very accommodating when we asked for an extra cot for the room Highly recommend Homewood Suites by Hilton in East Rutherford!

Very disappointed pool was not open for our children however I guess I looked and it said that on the website Unsure why though ? But I was impressed with my room very clean, and Spacious!!!! Awesome staff and location was great for people going to American dream or NYC Central Park was only 7miles ! Ideal for visiting a lot of amazing spots Elevator was making noises that WAS kinda scary though

But all in all I would give this hotel 38 out of 5!

I like this hotel It’s not the newest hotel around, but it’s certainly not rundown It’s definitely well maintained and clean

Cleaning staff were almost always visible and working My room had a tub, which I assume is standard I prefer showers Breakfast was good and service is excellent They have an outdoor enclosed half basketball court with an excellent vinyl floor and you can get a ball from reception to have some hoop fun The gym, though, is somewhat small and equipment a bit datedA big plus for me is the hotel’s location It is right opposite a small mall, which houses a Marshalls, Aldi and several eating options Several other restaurants are within walking distance or a short drive Don’t think that the close proximity to these shops make this hotel noisy or busy It’s very quiet and I felt very safe and secure I would undoubtedly stay here again

I LOVED this place!!! My partner and I stayed there this weekend, and it was so, so lovely The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, they are so happy to help and provided us with whatever we needed They were also very quick to reply! Courtney at the front desk was SUPER helpful and even gave us some suggestions for things to do in the city, which we ended up taking one of the recommendations, and it was a great time! She was also so friendly and bubbly and just really fun to talk to

Andre (I think was his name?), or whoever the fellow was that was answering my messages, was incredibly attentive and provided us with a heater, shampoo, and conditioner upon request My partner and I left in a hurry and couldn’t stop at the front desk, but Andre even ran down the stairs and out the door just to wave “goodbye” to us and thank us for staying! As someone who is used to very sterile, polite, “professionalism” environments, that really meant a lot to meThings I loved:-super cozy and warm environment-rooms and bathroom were super clean-very flexible check-in and check-out; we were able to leave our luggage in our room till 5pm while we ran around adventuring in the city-very low-key; nothing was fancy or extravagant, it was just really comfortable and relaxed-about a 6min walk from the nearest subway stop, and really great location for going to a lot of major places-easy to go in and out of the room and the building without fear of being locked out-the staff really look out for their guests and are personally invested in making sure everyone gets what they needThings to consider:-It’s NOT a hotel, so the amenities, front desk availability, and overall “caliber” are different-bathrooms and showers are outside of the rooms and shared with other guests-it gets quite cold at night (though they happily provided us with a heater and we were fine)My partner liked it but prefers the more standard accommodations and privacy of a regular hotel I, on the other hand, am a super people person and love low-key, comfortable, interpersonal environments like this hostel provided! So while it might not be for everyone, I give it 5 stars for a really great place to spend a few nights, an amazing job done by the staff, and overall a wonderful stay with no complaints or negative experiences (ironically unlike many hotels I’ve visited) Thank you all so much for the wonderful stay!!!!!!!!

The staff and especially Courtney was amazing, super friendly, accommodating, helpful and full of tips that made our nyc adventures so beautiful! The room was simple but it was all we needed, just a place to come to after a long day out and about We’d definitely stay here again, great location, fair price and honestly I’d come again even just for the friendly feeling Thanks guys!

Juliet Vickio

Showers and bathrooms were very clean and nice! Shower head was a rain shower and they had shampoo and conditioners varieties if you left yours at home The hostel keepers were super personable and helped us bring our heavy bags upstairs, and insisted on it The beds were comfortable, the rooms had a small sink and mirror for the resident, and the hostel was cutely decorated! The kitchen was well stocked, and the lounge had comfortable places to sit

We’ve stayed here quite a few times, the last time before our recent stay being pre-pandemic The location is convenient to the city, the beds are comfortable, breakfast is decent enough, parking is free My daughter and I stayed in room 804 and our experience was the room is really in need of some TLC

1 Temp control was hit-or-miss, the thermostat being well-handled and old2 Furniture in the living room is Salvation Army-grade and there’s way too much of it for the small space3 Remote control did not work4 Kitchen faucet leaked5 The toilet seat was loose and moved side-to-side and I was not about to reach under there to tighten it6 The coffee maker was fun; the little spring-loaded button in the bottom of the filter basket did not hit the carafe lid, so the coffee stayed in the basket rather than draining into the potThis used to be a nice hotel but it’s becoming run-down It’s clean for the most part and convenient to the ferry terminal, the parking is free, the access to the promenade restaurants and to Pier 115 is a plus, but it’s just starting to feel old and neglected We’ll probably stay here again but we might just try somewhere else

I stayed here for two nights and three days I felt good when I checked in The lady at the counter was very kind

I liked the room, too A room with two queen beds and a living room with a sofa were separated It is free breakfast time from 6 AM to 10 AM I was also satisfied with the quality of their food I will stay at here again when I come back to NYC next time

ortalama vatandas

Great location, great size of the room, very decent food for breakfast, free parking Only thing to improve would have been the furniture in the room was very dirty and old I used cleaning wipes for the chairs and I covered the sofa with my blanket that I carry in the car to make sure my clothing does not get any stains from the furniture

One of the chairs had literally some black stuff like machine oil or something Since the linens, tile surfaces and bedding were clean I did not complain Room had water front view so overall great value for the price I wish they had let us do late check out and did not barge in the room before we were even dressed yet to rush us out before the check out time The asian lady at the front desk was rather mean towards us but rest of the staff was very cordial

Pool closed with no information out to the guests!Breakfast items (example eggs), out of stock by 8:30?!Complained about the guests above us pounding on our ceiling for 4 straight days, without anything being done about itThis was our 3rd time staying at this location this year & it will be our lastIt’s turning into a long term, low income rental property with some guests staying for 3 – 8 years!Horrible service and callous staff

tiffany barrentine

The hotel and amentites at this establishment is very nice However, I gave a bad review due to being racially profiled by Phillip ( front desk suprrvisor) on Feb 12, 2022 We asked Phillip for direction for pool where he stated the pool was filled to capicity, we should make a reservation for another day

Although we had a 5:30pm for this dateNext, he followed us to the pool area and and stated we have too many people from our group in the pool He informed us that each 2 bedroom suite can have 6 guest in the pool Our group consists of 6 kids 1 adult to supervise while 4 adults sat near the pool (fully dressed) Phillip counted all the black people and the pool and stated we have too many people in the pool We explained to Phillip we were not with the other group of black people ( group of 4) The He left Phillip returned 15 minutes later stateing our children are laughing and talking too loud, they must keep their voices down Or less we will be asked to leave the pool area He left again 10 minutes later Phillip returned This time he began yelling at our children and threated to put them out the pool if they didnt use their inside voices instead of laughing and playing in the pool In my child’s defense my husband and I asked Phillp to talk with the adults instead of frightening our children Plus it’s the respectful thing to do Phillip stated ” no I will tell the children Since they are unsupervised” hewas so out of control he proceeded to yell at our children ( ages 5,7,8) again I have a picture of our group of kids in the pool and a video od Phillip yelling and threating our childre at the top of his longes This made my family and I very uncomfortable and I was afraid of what Phillip might say or do to our children next We didn’t want the situation to escalate so we left before our reservation time ended We feared Phillip continueing to harrass us and wasnt to remove our children from the hostility Maybe Phillip was overwhelmed woth the hotel being completely book up due to a wedding party We hope this doesnt happen to anyone else

I stayed here this past weekend with my family and I am giving this hotel a 5 stars The General Manager Tonya was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with Her staff provided impeccable customer service as well

We enjoyed the hotel amenities including the Continental breakfast and pool & hot tub The only con I have is I wish the room was a bit bigger but that didn’t stop me for booking again next month!

We loved our rooms Having the kitchen island area to work instead of a desk was great and everything was really clean The location is great with a good view of NYC

On our last day in New Jersey we went to explore NYC We had asked the front desk if we needed to move our car or if the parking pass would still let us out They informed us the pass didn’t expire until the end of the day When we got back to our car and went to leave the card wouldn’t let us out and we had to pay $18 in addition to the $22 for parking we paid every day we were there It was a good stay but only about half of the front desk staff were great

Lilly Chris

Really great hotel! It made our stay in New York more relaxed and special Very clean and modern suite, and kitchen had all utensils necessary for cooking and eating, dishwasher was also there, and washing powder provided Personnel was also very friendly and helpful

New York city easy to reach by public transport, bus or ferry The view of New York was stunning

Monica Mak

This hotel is so pretty It’s right by the water

the only thing is, they don’t have any rooms that are waterfront directly but you can definitely see the water from the side window The suite is so spacious and updated I love how it has a full kitchen and a huge refrigerator The woman at the front desk was very polite Parking is $22 in the garage that’s located right outside of the hotel Make sure you let the front desk person know that you will be going in & out so you can retrieve a parking pass for a one time fee It’s very close to NYC!! Complimentary breakfast… don’t expect a full meal It was breakfast sandwiches, cereal, quick meals Still good 🙂 the only thing is I wish they had a pool but it was still a great stay This will be my new go to hotel when I come into town Thank you Residence Inn!!!
