The bar is really nice as well We loved the fire pit, too!!! This place is really beautiful and were happy to see that they had a basketball court ( balls were available at the front desk) for the kids Location is ideal Breakfast is good: Just wish they had almond milk instead of Whole milk We highly recommend this place if visiting Big Spring

Let me tell you we had a long trip and was passing thru here To start off with, we were looking to stay in Midland and none were available we went to Odessa the OPPOSITE direction we were heading to because we then were told they had rooms there come to find out all of Odessa had no water

we were tired, frustrated, and the kids were exhausted When I called this hotel they were immediately welcoming over the phone They went above and beyond for us to make sure we were comfortable The owners are extremely friendly ! The rooms were very clean I am extremely happy with there service Do not judge by the outside or surroundings we were two women with three kids and we were comfortable and felt very welcoming Thank you to the owners !

The outside was clean, but parking was very tight Big pickups, to be expected, contributed to the tight feeling We were a little apprehensive, until we walked into the room

The room was freshly painted, with new appearing furniture & mattresses Everything sleek & modern Roomy low-step showerWe were surprised! Quiet both day & night Reasonable rate I will stay here again when visiting family Definitely recommend

Relocating from NM to TX and Big Spring is about the halfway point Stopped here for the night The hotel is older but well maintained

The pool was closed as it’s being completely overhauled which is good The room was clean and the bed was comfortable Breakfast was wonderful The shower was amazing Nice and hot with great water pressure The staff was great TJ was friendly to talk to and very informative Had frozen dinners from the gift shop as we didn’t want to leave after driving all day Overall I highly recommended this hotel Will definitely stay here again when we drive back to NM to visit family

We travel to Big Spring often, and usually stay at this hotel In the past, our stay has been decent This time, we came into the room and the bedsheets were made, but our 6 year old daughter pointed out there was hair all over the sheets

Upon further inspection, there was dog and human hair covering the sheets, along with dirt We found out it was just as disgusting inside the sheets as well We called the front desk and kindly asked if they would change our sheets They refused, but said they would bring some clean ones to our room After an hour of waiting, I just went down the front office to get sheets and made the beds myself So basically, they’ll make the beds with dirty sheets and refuse to fix the problem Breakfast is usually good, however this time was limited choices and everything was cold It’s been our go to spot in the past, however I’m not sure we’ll be staying again as my main concern when staying at hotels is cleanliness and our room was not clean

If I could rate lower I would, my husband was supposed to stay at this hotel but never got to check in due to no employees being there overnight This was a couple weeks ago on a Tuesday night He waited from midnight till around 2am and not once did he see anyone that worked there

so he left and went somewhere else… The next morning he went to La Quinta and made sure he wasn’t going to be charged a no show fee for his stay My husband said when he went in there was a dark hair lady nicely dressed talking to another employee about no one being there for the night audit shift and that no one had been there all night…how do you run a hotel without anyone there ?? We will not be staying there again because this was totally unacceptable… Someone should be there… at the time my husband was trying to check in there were several others that needed keys for there room…I hope this place can get it figured out, it didn’t use to be so poorly operated…

I’ve stayed at this campsite two different times in the last 5 months The grounds keeper is absolutely amazing, he is so funny and kind The rv lots are a decent size, definitely smaller

There are a lot of cacti around the campsites as well as thorns on the ground There is a man here who refuses to keep his dog on a leash and it has come after me and my dogs two different times It roams all over the campsite which is one of the only reasons I give it a 4 star review The prices are great and it’s not too noisy There are a lot of full timers here Glenda is a dear to deal with and she is so nice as well I would definitely come back here again if I ever am around the area It’s one of the only campsites that aren’t full all the time near Big Springs They do have a laundry room as well

Kathy Hartwell

We spent 2 nights at South Haven RV Park The park is quiet and the sights were very clean and well maintained The owner, Glena was gracious and so very sweet

Our RV had 2 flat tires when we arrived and she called tire shops to help us Glenda was reassuring, kind, quite helpful and the kind of person you want when you are in need of help yourselfDefinitely a place you want to stay in Big Spring Texas!

Clerk upon arrival was very friendly Room had an odor so I thought I will turn air on, maybe it needs some air circulating The whole cover to the AC was falling off

Drawers to dresser were open How did you wipe the counters down and the cap to someone’s razor was still on counter? I stay at the Best Western in San Angelo 3-4 nights a week for work and love it so I thought why not!!! All hotels are not created equal The free breakfast? It was free because there was not anything available Everything was dried out and very little of that Girl at counter was asked for a fork I found them before she even came over For a 100 do better!!! Lesson learned!

Antonio Gonzalez

When checking in the staff was friendly and professional The room had a smell to it but not bad just a mold smell kinda I just turned on the AC and called it good

Later I found what looked like a moldy piece of fruit on the floor by the fridge I had the jacuzzi room The hot water did not work for the jacuzzi It was luke warm at best so that was annoying When i reported the issue i was told nothing could be done about it I was told I would recieve a partial refund because that was the whole purpose of getting that room I was given the run around by staff and finally told the manager would contact me He never called and I had to call I still haven’t been in contact with the manager And they have not contacted me I also noticed pannhandlers come and go as they please here and staff doesn’t do much to have them removed or leave so that’s pretty annoying Can’t really recommend this place and I won’t be staying again

Bradley Bowman

Good – clean roomsBad – remodeling and shady part of town The advertise price is not the same price you will get at the doorUgly – No pool or Jacuzzi when advertised on internet

They are remoldeing it and forgot to tell anyone

Deadbolt couldnt lock Secondary lock was loosely screwed in, could have easily been kicked in Dirty linen on the bed Moldy coffee pod in the coffee maker Toilet had trouble flushing sometimes Stained carpet under the desk chair

It was comfortable, quiet, the staff there were very nice and helpful The place was clean and had no problemsThough I did not appreciate the accusation of smoking in the room and staff members asking multiple times this morning If I was staying or checking out an hour before check out timeAlso shortly after being questioned about a “smokey” smell from my room which couldn’t be, simply because I had not smoked inside the room at all and i only had smoked outside that night when I first bought the room

I also didnt appreciate the cop/security guard parked outside my room this morning for complaints about the smell of marijuana I provided paper proof for using CBD Cannabis from the local shop, explained and showed its use was for relaxation from health problemsI smoked outside twice that night, the door was closed and that can be proved by the fresh cigarette and paper butts in the road in front of Room 107, the man at the front desk and the cameras around the place, of me asking twice for a new room key for locking myself outBut overall it was a great place to stay

Chris O

Absolutely impressed! In an area with $150, $200+ hotels within walking distance, this place is impressive with what you get and cost Extremely friendly staff King size bed under $90 including pull-out sofa, granite countertop, huge sink, full size refrigerator w/ freezer, microwave

I’m very glad we DIDN’T judge by the parking lot

This motel wasn’t bad but also not great considering we paid $130 for one nightThe floors in our room were disgusting My son walked around and his feet were black within 5 minutes

The shower had water spots all over the glassThe TV had splashes of God knows what all over itThe gentleman that checked us out after our stay was very short and didn’t thank us for our stayLastly, when looking at pricing online it said $87 but we paid $130 It definitely wasn’t worth that Clean up So gross

Paola Lopez

A day into my stay I notice blood splatter on the ceiling and down the wall of my room (adjacent to the door) and immediately notified the front desk I was surprised at how dismissive they were so before I left for work I went to speak to the front desk manager and pressed them to call the police I noticed after work that the blood had been scrubbed & cleaned so I checked in with the front desk manager I had spoke to earlier and she told me that police had come, documented the splatter, taken samples, and even went as far as to go into detail about the conversation she had with the dispatcher

Until now, I had decided to stay since it seemed as if the staff was taking it seriously and taking the right measures to notify the police… but then I called the local police department to verify they had indeed made a visit and I was informed that the police had never been notified and no officer had been dispatched to the motel at any point in the day They immediately sent an officer over and luckily I had pictures and videos of the scene for him to see, but knowing that the motel had lied about calling the police and scrubbed away evidence of whatever happened there was incredibly disturbing and unnerving I grabbed my things and left as soon as the officer was done with his investigation but swung by the front desk to confront the manager that had gone into so much detail about an outright lie She continued to lie to my face and shift blame shamelessly Absolutely unacceptable I understand that things happen, but being negligent and then outright lying, over and over again, is just jaw dropping Don’t stay here if your looking for a safe and honest environment This is not the place*Since I can’t respond to the comment made by the “owner” I would like to address that I checked in Monday evening and noticed it Tuesday night, my apologies for mistaking the timeline but it was not minor by any means Concentrated blood splatter on a ceiling that extends down the wall (to any degree) should be taken with the upmost utmost seriousness
