Stayed here for an event we were attending in Atlanta The room we stayed in was very nice There was not a dresser to put any clothes in, but there were a couple of drawers and a closet to keep clothes in

The workout area and pool were both very nice with lots of room The pool was an even 4ft deep but was still enjoyable to spend time in The area around the hotel was very nice to walk around and get some fresh air and nature The housekeeping was very nice and made sure our room was in tip top shape, even placing a stuffed animal we had on the bed There is also a mall across the street with lots of food and stores to fill time If I am ever in the area again, this will be my go to hotel choice

Attended a conference at this hotel Very nice property for a general stay but the hotel was not large enough to host our conference Parking is very limited for large groups

This is a beautiful property The rooms were spacious and clean The grounds were well kept Limited dining options on the property but there are numerous eateries in the vicinity The fitness center was more than adequate and the hotel staff was pleasant and professional I would definitely stay at this location again, if necessary

Nicholas Isola

Great experience at this hotel Friendly front desk staff Unfortunately, the first room I was given had a mildew smell, but the front desk was able to quickly change my room

The second room was perfect Large TV, comfortable bed, clean everything The hotel seems to have been recently renovated, which was nice There’s great views of either a park or the city skyline from your room The park is accessible from the hotel, and is a great place to take a walk around I would stay here again

The place was clean at first No issue there Front desk people were pleasant however coming into the room, the key did not work

Had to request the front desk staff to open the door until the next day the had an engineer come in to fix it while we were trying to go out to an eventRoom service was hard to request We asked the cleaning people in the morning for room service and was told it would be done After coming back from outside at 5pm, nothing was cleaned and we were told it was too late for room service by a lady who seemed like the cleaning manager who was also very rude we were also told we had to ask the front desk before 2pm This information was not given to us by the cleaning people or even the front desk Mind you, we requested cleaning service early in the morning from the cleaning people and paid over 600$ to stay 3 nights I do not appreciate this service and probably would not stay here again

Cameron Curley

Staff was SUPER NICE! Give the front desk person Stephanie a raise! She was extraordinary helpful and kind through my stayRooms were nice, had good outlet locations, and the bathroom was very nice as well with good water pressureParking is free too, unlike most places with $50 per night parking

Kalah Regis

The hotel was very clean upon arrival and check in was easy and simple The team member at the desk was nice During the night, there were issues with the air conditioning unit , I called on Saturday around noon and the person at the desk was very quick to accommodate

She was probably the best person that I interacted with during my whole stay (please thank her for the extra star rating ) Not a huge snack selection , they need more options for guest The next night I called around midnight and requested a late check out I was told 1230 was the latest and the person on the phone asked me for my room number and said she would put it on the list The next morning housekeeping knocked once and walked right in the room Didn’t announce herself, didn’t say housekeeping, didn’t say hello… NothingThe front desk clerk called shortly after she came back up there for a second time and I told her had late check out She stated that they were not informed At this point it’s around 1135 I stayed to her that I called and spoke to someone who took my room number down as well and I was told 1230 was the latest She stated to me they do not do late check out last 12I understand everything that was told to me However, I do not have a reason to lie and if what I was told was incorrect then that conversation needs to be had with the night shift ( night auditors) or whom ever It is unprofessional to go back and forth with the guest As a diamond member, I am shocked quite honestly about the way this was handled I did contact customer service regarding this, my biggest thing is not announcing yourself when you are coming into a roomI will not be returning for another stay at this location I have not heard back from the management team either

TL;DR: HIGHLY recommend for large group events in Decatur!ACCOMMODATIONS & SERVICEThis hotel and staff were EXCELLENT Comfortable and stylish rooms, and staff were very helpful to address any questions or needs We were there for my sister’s wedding and they accommodated the whole family

It has such a comfortable feel with gathering spaces for everyone, large parties or small groups Some rooms have windows overlooking the central community area which I liked, but if that’s not your thing and you want more quiet you may want to request an externally facing room The pool and the gym were also quite nice, and the cafe serves Starbucks beverages which was a nice morning treatPARKING & LOCATIONThere’s ample parking also It’s super close to lots of shops, restaurants, and things to do which was really nice for everyone who was in town We stayed busy and no one had to drive anywhere Also really close to MARTA

Keki B

The accommodations were nice and clean You can tell they take cleanliness very seriously, which is greatly appreciated The room itself was decent

Sort of modern, however, the bed was firm and comfy I did love the hardwood floors That was a very nice touch Overall, I enjoyed my overnight stay The $10 parking though, I didn’t love Haha

Tyler Schimmel

Our van broke down on the highway so we had to book a room quickly for the night The customer service was great! When we arrived we were greeted with water and a quick room upgrade I do not remember the mans name, but he was very accommodating

Their service to our room was fast when we asked for anything extra and our room was very clean Although we did not plan on staying here, I would highly recommend it I

– TV broken – got fixed but no streaming- Internet slow – no enhanced internet- Charged me for parking even though I didn’t have a car – had to argue to get that removed

– No housekeeping for entire stay – even though their policy is to provide every day- No water pressure- Tub is curved and slippery – almost killed myself- Bistro employees are very good, Starbucks coffee is good, food is wretched- Front desk staff likes to get that last word and argued with me about most of the aboveDo not stay here

Monique Desouge

The hotel charged me a mandatory 200 dollar incidental fee when I checked in on top of the 830 I paid for 4 nights You have 2 options for parking: self park for 24 dollars every time you leave the garage or a 38 dollar a day vallet parking with the hotel I was surprised because that was not clearly explained when I booked my room

Breakfast is not included The restaurant in the hotel is room charge only Finally, my room was only serviced once When I requested to have my garbage taken out, they dumped the garbage can into a giant black garbage bag and left it in my room They also left the dirty towels I’m very disappointed I will never stay at this hotel again and I would not recommend it to a friend

Jason Hancock

The common spaces at the hotel looked nice, but the rooms really need some attention! The bathroom just needed to be gutted completely From the jet exhaust fan to the terrible shower, it just felt like the hotel room was left behind in the mid-1990’s The ergonomics of the TV location and the very strange furniture, some leveled with wood shims you get from Lowes, just added to the feeling of stepping back in time

Giving two stars because the staff were very pleasant and the restaurant was surprisingly decent But that’s about it I booked the Westin because of its general higher-end status, but I was pretty disappointed

The lobby is set up really nicely and would lead you to believe that you’re about to have a great stay at a 4-star hotel But as soon as you leave the lobby, the rest of the hotel is mediocre at best First of all, I upgraded my room to a Junior Suite weeks before my stay, and when I checked in, I was told I would be staying in the previous room I booked because they have no junior suites available If you weren’t going to have junior suites available on the nights of my stay, why would I be able to upgrade to that room? Or did you give my junior suite away to someone else? We paid extra for a lake-front room, but the lake was brown and disgusting The rooms are no better than 2 or 3-star quality- the finishings are tacky and the bathroom/shower area was just straight up icky The shower was not user friendly at all At a certain point we called maintenance about it He told us many people call about the shower head and faucet and complains about them Additionally, make sure you get a room close to the ground floor or you’ll be waiting at least 5 minutes for the elevator- but you’ll get your steps in on the stairs! Overall, this is in no way a 4-star hotel and they should probably lose a star But your staff was excellent!

After a not so great experience at a another Atlanta area Marriott property, happy to say that this is a very nice hotel Had breakfast and dinner at Savor, and both were great Rooms are clean and (despite being in a hotel at the intersection of two interstates) quiet

Only minor complaint is that the mattresses are a bit soft Also, the pool area is currently closed / under construction

Loved our stay Beds were very comfortable The water stayed hot

Hotel itself was quiet The indoor pool was nice due to it being cool outside I wish they could block the outdoor pool from the draft coming inside the indoor pool Downside they need free parking and a shuttle and offer free Breakfast and the rooms needs to be dusted especially if you have allergies They have a fridge needs a microwave in room And the queen bed is more of a full bed

corey swanson

I have stayed here before and the experience was great, however, this time I stayed – they went ABOVE & BEYOND Annette & Nikki at the front desk are honestly the best pair of workers I’ve ever came across Their charisma speaks for itself

They treated me so great and I wish I could give more than 5 stars forThis stay People like this make your experience memorable and they deserve recognition I’d rather stay at this location and have a longer commute than stay somewhere closer to my destination; that’s how great they are Great job Nikki & Annette!

We arrived late night after a long trip to a clean and comfortable room and attentive staff Room assistants were accommodating to our requests Food in the restaurant was pretty good in taste and presentation

Big shout out to Joe in Front Desk He was extremely helpful, especially when it came for us finding things to do in and around Atlanta He gave us plenty good suggestions and took his time describing each spot suggested Joe is friendly, helpful, and respectful He really enjoys his job and it shows by the way he treats his guests

Overall this was a nice hotel Entrance was a bit tricky to pull into, but there is a back gate once you’ve received your room key Complimentary breakfast was okay

Several packaged items to grab and go But, waffles were empty both mornings Biscuits were hard We managed but could have been better Staff was extremely nice and welcoming

Leshone Morgan

The hotel itself was nice Traffic coming in and out of the hotel was crazy There was a lady working the from desk and she was not very welcoming and it did not get any better throughout the weekend

It actually got worse The air in my room did not work so it was 11:00 pm and I was switching rooms but the guy at the front desk then was very nice and sent the maintenance person up to check it prior to moving my room The only problem with that was I was in a king room with a pull out couch and the room I moved to only had a king bed So the bed had to be shared which is why I had asked for a pull out couch Not what I paid for The complimentary breakfast was a hot one so that was a plus

Anfal Fahim

We Stayed there for three nights with my newborn and a toddlerHad a Wonderful experience Cleanliness 5/5Safe gated parking5/5Breakfast 5/5Staff including the lady serving breakfast was really friendly

Tamara and Miss Dee and the night staff guy were all very friendly, helping and welcomingManagers: Earnest and Gwynne were also very welcoming and hospitable as wellWill be no doubt staying here again next time i visit Atlanta Thanks to the whole team 🙌

What a lovely resort, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! The location is incomparable, the view of the lake, Stone Mountain in the distance, and a pool deck that overlooks the lake view, it was really lovely! I came from Savannah to Stone Mountain to enjoy a weekend of hiking and biking If you are an outdoorsman, this resort has everything to enjoy in nature! The staff who checked me in were kind and attentive, especially Alex, who handled my check in and processing Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant was very nice, Frey was an absolute darling, and very attentive to her guests

I look forward to staying here again Rooms were very clean and well kept, and the hotel, while a little dated, is well kept, organized and clean as well

Kelley Guest

Beautiful Hotel, severely understaffed For a resort be prepared to find your own dolly and cart your own luggage When I say find your own dolly, I mean search the entire resort and floors

That staff was friendly, just overwhelmed The only time it seemed as a resort was when there was a convention Despite this, the breathtaking mountains and scenery made up for this The restaurants were pricey but good and also understaffed The pools were great and both hot tubs were nice I enjoyed my stay and would return

Cynthia Tolbert

I loved mostly everything about my trip to Atlanta Evergreen My room was very nice, however the balcony was dirty The view from the balcony was awesome

The lake and the people on the lake and the sounds of the animals were relaxing On a sour note, an article of clothing was stolen from my room I must add on a positive note the food was excellent! I will revisit👍

Room is quite and bed is good That is about it Room is worn and feels dirty

Couch has stains and cigarette burns Curtains are torn Thrash on stairs for two days Needs improve attention to details and cleaning Actually had a “freshly laundered and folded” wash cloth that was covered with hair (yuck) We will not be back Also terminated out stay two days early I can’t recommend this hotel

I was in Atlanta with my family I want to start off by saying that what makes this hotel feel worth it is the housekeepers that treated me and my family Julieta was a wonderful human soul that went above and beyond for my needs and treated us like true family

I could never get customer service to that standard any longer or in other hotels Man! Such a passionate soul and a great human being The breakfast was decent I think the lady was named Maria who cleans and preps the cafeteria She was wonderful too We love them Thank you for such a great experience Hopefully, my family and I are able to come back here

Mery Velazquez

Only reason why I’m giving it a 4 is because the hotel isn’t so strict on the no smoking policy They would know that the guests were smoking Marijuana and cigarettes in their rooms but do nothing about it I brought kids with me and the room across from me was smoking, out room immediately stunk up as if we were the ones smoking

It was ridiculous Great have no respect for the rules

I really enjoyed my stay here at this beautiful hotel It was peaceful, front desk attendant very nice The room we were in was clean, neat and it was well worth the money

The only thing I didn’t like is not having a microwave in the room that’s why I rated 4-stars Oh, and another thing upon arrival to get to the room, the housekeeper had the all of her things (supplies) and dirty linen hamper blocking the darn doorway where I couldn’t even get in the room! I understand she has to do her job, but do it correctly and follow safety guidelines when cleaning Do not block the hallways nor doors That is definitely a safety hazardOther than that, hopefully the next time we stay here that pool up on the 3rd floor will be open! The view from up there and just relaxing by the pool

Vishnupriya Anant

We stayed here for 2 nights over the memorial day weekend The size of the room is good, its spacious, the view from the big windows was great We could see the highways and bridges and city without obstruction

Sunset sky looks great from the room Breakfast was included and was a decent spread compared to the spread we have in the US but it was nothing in comparison to what we get in Asia Has a nice swimming pool and a big garden It is pet friendlyJust remember not expect a lot in terms of service or facilities because well it is US and not in Asia

Ben Shope

This was easily the best value in the area A very clean, new hotel with some pretty grounds in the back We stayed six days in a suite

The staff was very friendly and helpful The stay was an excellent value despite some days of scaled-back breakfast service (that situation seemed in-flux, so check on that if you care) I think the value comes from the fact that the hotel is near an office park and may be designed for more pre-pandemic business travelers than they are seeing right now We were allowed to redeem a suite award despite the rooms being labeled premium suites (so your mileage may vary) Parking is $14 a day which is a better value than some comparable Hyatt properties Anyways, great stay – I highly recommend

This was a very interesting experience – but in a good way I booked a room after not really reading much about the location itself It’s not a hotel, it’s a bed and breakfast which surprised me

There aren’t many rooms but we didn’t have any issues with parking or getting checked in The building itself is old but very clearly maintained and cleaned I booked a room with the jacuzzi tub in the room The tub is barely large enough for two people of medium size More than enough room for one person The customer service was also excellent When I mentioned a pork allergy during breakfast, we received a chicken patty instead of sausage The rest of the breakfast was really good too The location can’t be beat either, so close to Stone Mountain Definitely would go back

Sylvia Spurling

Beautiful property with an excellent host The rooms are luxurious and impeccably clean The host, Christian, is warm and welcoming, and very helpful with recommendations

The shower is great, breakfast was delicious We would certainly recommend One of the nicest B & B’s we’ve ever experienced Big plus is a great German restaurant in walking distance

Joy Kello

This Bed and Breakfast was delightful! Large rooms, very clean, excellent breakfast, homey, and amazing customer service! Cristian and Adam were kind and caring hosts! From precheck-in to check- out they went above and beyond! The location is great with plenty of great places to eat within walking distance! Loved this stay and if we are in the area again we will definitely be staying again!

The hotel is average, nice staff The cleanliness of our room was very impressive I grabbed a few disinfecting wipes at the reception (nice touch!) with the intention of sanitizing all the surfaces we were going to be touching for sure in our room

To my surprise the wipes barely got dirty, there was not even dust there!!! I could see they take seriously the sanitation during this pandemicNobody will be cleaning your room during your stay so if you need extra towels or something else, you need to ask for it at the front desk Breakfast is not included and costs over $14 per person, you can find better options at the local restaurants5 stars is for the excellent cleaning protocol they are obviously following

I largely enjoyed my stay at this hotel The front desk receptionists were phenomenal in how friendly and welcoming they were The hotel is generally very clean and they had a very good gym on-site

I love the digital key availability and my room was comfortable, clean, and cozy My only complaint was that there is not any sound proofing and you can hear every single person talking in the hallway and slamming doors and dropping things above you I wasn’t able to get great sleep, solely due to the other guests If you’re sensitive to noise (which I’m actually not, but if feels like the sound was amplified), maybe consider bringing ear plugs Otherwise, the location was great as there is a decent restaurant/bar attached, a Target, Best Buy, and mall nearby I would stay at this hotel again PS – they do have their signature chocolate chip cookie but you specifically have to ask the receptionist for it It won’t be visually apparent when you are at the front desk

Very happy with some of the staff and how friendly they are but the manager didn’t acknowledge that the alarms going off all night due to marijuana smoking was an issue that deserved complimentary stays or future discounts That’s totally unacceptable Free breakfast isn’t very compensatory

People had plans the next day which were completely ruined After long hours of travel, guests have the expectation of a quiet night for comfort and rest when they pay to stay a a reputable hotel chain My wife and I are both have career experience in the travel industry This is unacceptable from a chain of this stature First, we were told the alarm was going off due to a storm which was not even severe, it was very light rain Secondly, we were told it was due to maintenance related issues I don’t feel this is very honest We left our rooms and smelled nothing but marijuana in the hallways Housekeeping had the doors open and we smelled it everywhere in the hallways Please be honest and forthcoming with more acceptable offers and a compatible reimbursement for these awful circumstances Our toilet was also dirty upon arrival Something should be done

Sister and I stopped in April We love that it was a newer hotel We got parking that was quite close to the door

The lady who worked the front desk was super super nice We were checking in late from a long drive The hotel looks really clean Our room was super clean Our beds were comfortable The restaurant was closing soon by time we got there, so we just ordered from a different restaurant before arriving We definitely wouldn’t mind coming back to this place

Water pressure is as a little low but so far my experience has been amazing! Janice was so friendly and had excellent customer service skills She was the only one working the front desk and still was still friendly, kind and helpful! Breakfast was very good! It was different than other holiday inns they have grits, fresh cut fruit, French toast, scrambled eggs and more! Grits were really good Only warning is breakfast is not free unless it says it is included on your reservation

clean rooms and comfy beds the check in and out process was a breeze free and easy parking is a plus

it was quiet and relaxing during our stay and the location was convenient for our activities we didn’t get a chance to visit the rooftop restaurant or pool only thing I have to say is the A/C is either too hot or too cold other than that, I loved it and will def be returning

We stayed here one night with our son Everything seemed clean The pool was warm and there was a breakfast buffet

If the breakfast was edible I would have given it 5 stars but even though they had waffles, eggs (scrambled, omelette and boiled), bacon, yogurt, fruit and milk some of the items had a weird taste We went to Einstein Bagel’s close by If you don’t have a budget for breakfast you won’t starve! Also, the coffee was kind of bad If they were able to improve the breakfast to something the staff would even want to eat everyday it would be amazing! I guess I’m focusing on the breakfast because that was the only issue there was But I would stay here again regardless Overall, I found people in Atlanta to be very friendly and not overly concerned about CDC recommendations pretty much everywhere we went

The location was excellent The customer service was excellent, the staff were always there to answer any questions or fulfill any requests Within the means this hotel is great but when I compare this to other Fairfield locations the rooms here need a lot of attention(finishings, paint, cracked tiles etc

) A very genuine effort was made by the staff to provide a great breakfast but for someone who stays more than a day the hot options need to be real

Nice location, safe, clean, quiet, good night’s rest, conveniet to restaurants and attractions, and friendly staff It is a bit older location so not quite as up to date as newer locations Our coffee pot in the room did not work and since we had to leave at 5 a

m we had to get coffee elsewhere and also left before the breakfast offered with our room was available (maybe at 6:30?)

Our stay was excellent from the time we checked in to the time we checked out We utilized online check in which allowed me to select a room on the higher floors where we felt we wouldn’t disturb other guests as we do have small children Being able to view the floor layout on the app is definite perk when traveling with small people

When we arrived at the hotel the front staff was friendly and helpful We were able to find parking within the gated garage no problem We found our room and were able to get squared away for the night The room was clean and comfortable The bathroom was well lit and spacious The breakfast in the morning was plentiful and accommodated guests of all ages We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again when in the Atlanta area

Excellent Hotel, Great Rooms, Great Staff! We took a flight from Arizona to attend a family members graduation from Emory University We were not familiar with the Atlanta area, and were thrilled to find this Hampton Inn based upon reviews on both Google and Trip Advisor When we arrived, the staff member we interfaced with was excellent

great customer interface and pleasant We parked in the parking garage next door, which was affordable, safe, and the next building to the hotel We asked for and received extra towels since we were in and out of the room over a three day periodOur room, which had one king bed, was spacious and nicely appointedWe interfaced with the General Manager, Jerry Roach, who was extremely friendly and who helped us to understand the variety of eating establishments around the immediate areaWe had a rental car and found it quite easy to arrive at the hotel from ATL the ride from the Airport was quick and not complicated at allOur ability to get to the Emory campus quickly was uncomplicated as well Fifteen minutes at most Starbucks is easily accessible by car; approximately 12 minutes away and not hard to findOverall, this experience was a 10/10 Congratulations Mr Roach and your staff for a top notch hotel experience
