Stayed here for a couple of nights I had such a wonderful experience First off, the staff were very nice, polite, and beyond helpful

Second, this place was kept really clean Large parking lot to accommodate many cars They have an omelette bar, which was a nice addition because I did not like the scrambled eggs My room was extremely clean and comfy

Susan Hannaford

I think perhaps this is the best kept secret in north Texas! It’s so pretty from the outside as well as inside, very clean with a 24-hour gym and a beautiful swimming pool and a courtyard, the room was spacious and nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed and amazing shower head in the shower! You will know you are at a Marriott hotel and be pleasantly surprised by the rates! I’m saving the best for last and that is the staff they are second to none! I was welcomed so nicely and any of the staff I came in contact with during my stay was just the nicest ever! Five stars from me and I will definitely enjoy staying here again in the future!

Tala McCreless

Room was not worth the price We booked a king suite for two adults and a toddler There was only one nightstand

I called the front desk to inquire, and apparently all rooms only have one nightstand by the bed Makes zero sense We had to move a side table from the front sitting area, and crawl under the bed to plug in my phone charger Not ideal Second, the couch was very dirty We had to ask for a blanket just to feel like we could sit on it The tissue box had three left in it before running out The toilet paper holder fell off anytime you tried to use itThey should be taking more care to make sure the room is properly stocked They gave us two towels for three peopleThe only nice thing I can say about this stay was that the breakfast was pretty decent

Lisa Wilson

Our stay here was the best of our 4 nights away from home The rate was decent, check in quick, room clean and breakfast was niceThe egg bites were surprisingly delicious and pre packaged belgian waffles were so good! Nice touches!Great job to everyone in front desk, housekeeping and breakfast host!

Very pleasant stay! Great customer service and inviting, with new upgraded nice and clean decor Room was a little compact but we didnt come to hang out in the room, we stayed for the NASCAR race Beds were comfortable, A/C was cold, shower was hot with good pressure, and was close to track with easy access to get on 114

Several choices of restaurants and stores within few minute drive Breakfast was provided that hit the spot with options for everyone And of course kids loved the pool! This will be our go to for races in the future!

I’m there to sleep Mattress is too firm Pillows are these tiny little square pillows

Registered 4 guests, only had 2 bath towels Had to go ask for more and they had to write down I had 2 extra There is no way to make your room dark The photo was taken at 11:00 pm All the light coming into the room is from the parking lot lights The blinds close, but aren’t anywhere near the wall so all that light comes in Breakfast was no where near BW standards Having updated an older hotel they did a good job in some ways but for the most important things: meh

Rikki Taylor

We had to change room three times because the other rooms weren’t ready Should have walked out then Go to dinner and come back and our key doesn’t work

Go downstairs and come back 10 mins later go downstairs and come back to it not working again Ask for a refund and manager told us that it was our fault that the key isn’t working He was very rude and had the worst customer service I have ever witnessed We stay in a lot of hotels and have never seen a worst condition or poorly managed hotel I would never recommend this hotel to anyone and will never be back!!!!

The worst!!!! Don’t trust them!!!!!Not a guest because you GAVE MY ROOM AWAY!!! Called me while I was on a airplane telling me I had 40 minutes to call with a credit card Called when landed and no room because you gave it to someone else Left me scrambling for a room at midnight

Great start to a vacation Just plan horrible to do to someone! Here’s a shocker for you, people rent hotel rooms when they travel out of state and need to fly in an airplane!

Bryan Walker

TV didn’t work a third of the time, the overabundance of perfume like odor surrounded the lobby and hallways but as soon as I opened the room door it smelt like my great grandmother’s house filled with cigarette smoke There was no smoke, but the odor remained Homeless people scattered through the parking lot every so often, it’s just an uncomfortable stay and below standards for what I would expect from a la Quinta inn

I am a “diamond” member

After a long day of work I arrived to the hotel around 1030pm The room I booked was not ready and I was told they did not have my room type available Marriott has a reservation guarantee so I told the front desk of the policy

They seemed to be on the same page and to honor the policy A few minutes later, the shift manager made a call to the facility guy on site and asked if a room was clean He wasn’t sure but she asked him to take a look and make sure it was ready for a stay Supposedly this guy cleaned and prepared the room within 15 minutes I am not sure if it was actually cleaned or not In total, I waited for 45 minutes in the lobby and was able to get to my room at 1130pm No accommodation, poor service, no urgency, no customer service I stayed over 100 nights with Marriott last year I have never had a bad experience until staying at this Westin

David

The suite they put me is was nice, but it had a strange layout The toilet was down the hall and around the corner with motion sensores closet lights with no doors in between That was annoying at night

I didn’t want the lights on!Lastly, the shower head was very low They said it was because it was an ADA room Maybe that is a legitimate building code or requirement in Texas However, I have been put in many ADA rooms in my travels and never seen this Just be aware when booking or being assigned your room

Alan Bielefeldt

The hotel and rooms were modern, clean, very nice and comfortable I had put in for a specific suite upgrade, which i was told i received When we checked in, it was a room with a Pelton which they said was a Junior suite

But this wasn’t one of the two suites I had requested, so it was disappointing to have two suite nights used for this upgrade As a Platinum member, this is room would be the normal upgrade we typically receive without using a suite night as the Pelton was the only addition to what seemed like a regular room Another area we were very disappointed with was their breakfast staff and food which was lacking in comparison to many other Marriott hotels we’ve stayed For example the first morning they give us a menu, but recommend the buffet since they said it would take at least 25 – 30 minutes for any menu item we ordered So we select the buffet which my wife picked the oatmeal which turned out to be dried up and cold, from sitting in the pot I selected the scrambled eggs and potatoes which were also cold and eggs were runny Our waitress only came by once to bring the bill, so we had to wave down other staff for coffee refillsAlso, we were very frustrated with the pool which was over crowded, they have limited chairs with umbrellas, so we baked in the sun, which is not great in Texas with 105 temperatures Not to mention the pool water was very hot, so it took away from our plans for a relaxing weekend

If you have kids under 40” skip this place and check into the Great Wolf I attended a conference but kids were too small for slides One person maximum going down slides and 300# weight limit(was no where near limit)

Had a three year old that loves slides but he wouldn’t go down by himself like you can at Great Wolf Reception/Staff was not very knowledgeable about water park kept referencing the map Guidelines do not list a one at a time rule Tons of cute things in hotel for kids but posted notes that they are for pictures only, no climbing/touching Two kid meals on menu Again had to reference website for more options Indoor pool is part of a spa and people getting spa stuff done groan on kids actually playing Outdoor pool is hot Weather was over a hundred Nothing inside hotel was for kids except a tiny place you could paint a small cheap canvas or put something together Great wolf is literally next door Valet is high if you don’t use it I will definitely stay at Great Wolf next time and use valet to park Three hour wait on dinner was insane I wish I had known

Glenda Delling

Absolutely fantastic! Everyone was super nice and helpful So many things to do! The shuttles to see the shows were great and the drivers were super cool! My only complaint is that we did not get our room cleaned the last two days we were there and our coffee supplies had run out I called the front desk and they delivered more coffee after about a 30 minute wait

I really need my coffee in the morning! I guess I should have called the night before but I was too exhausted from all the fun!

NeverMask Beauty

Stayed here and found our room ready early, which was quite nice Room was clean overall with comfortable & fluffy beds (2-queens), plenty of towels, high pressure shower and not far from elevator Service is super friendly too, here! The hotel is beautiful all over with it’s spacious gardens, water fountains, coffee shops and more

Four tickets for their water park were included which was awesome great water park with slides, zip lining, splash pad and more! I highly recommend it, even if it’s just for a nice walk around the hotel and having a refreshing cup of coffee with a loved one! 🌺🍃

before she could even bend down, staff was there and assuring her “no worries” A lovely visit

Booking and check in were easy and freindly I was a little disappointed when I found out our “Suite” was essentially one big room with a TV in both “rooms” We were only there for the evening to get our kids out of the work party she was having at our home in Denton

It lead to a war of TV volumes Room was clean and the hotel is definitely up to Courtyard’s standards If anything like this happens again I’ll look into a suite with some sort of divider Nice hotel with a staff

Amanda Dalrymple

Ok if this review was solely based on the rooms and front desk staff, it’d be a 5! We had a quick and easy check in (literally the fastest check in I’ve had in a long while) and the room was spacious and clean! The shower head was not great at all The indoor swimming pool was warm and my kiddos had a great time! The reason we rated this a 3, was because the breakfast employee was not friendly, seemed upset she had to take our order and just wasn’t pleasant I ordered the avocado toast and y’all, when I say it was bad it was so bad

It was a piece of bread from the grocery store with some watery packaged avocado spread (pictures attached) My kids got the French toast and after one bite told me it was yucky The strawberries were mushy (from a can?), and my husbands breakfast sandwich wasn’t actually edible We each took one bite and left after $35 Do yourselves a huge favor and skip the breakfast, head to Buc-cees across the street for a way better breakfast for way less!

The Lovely

The rooms are clean and spacious It’s an older hotel with thoughtful renovations where it counts: upgraded window treatments, lighting and plush carpeting The waiting room foyer and furniture are sleek and modern, as is the dining area

The hot breakfast has enough variety to be satisfied, with appreciated cold staples like quality fresh cut fruit, cereal, pastries, yogurt and the like I enjoyed my week-long stay and would happily return!

Michael Van Doren

My son and I stayed in a fairly spacious and very nicely appointed and sound-proof, King Suite here at Hilton Homewood on Tues, 3/8/22 All of the staff, from the front desk to the breakfast staff, were helpful and friendly

The bed was spot-on comfy and even the bathroom area was spacious I’d say this a great bargain given that we also had a very functional, full kitchenette and it cost less than what most regular roadside hotels charge for cramped rooms Oh, and the ducks swimming in the outdoor pool (not heated and it was a cold day), while not welcome for health inspection purposes I’m sure, were nonetheless entertaining – more so given the fact that they had apparently snubbed “staying” at little Lake Unicorn right next door! Just ducky!

Qiana Majors

I hosted my daughters graduation party here after our last venue was flooded 2 days prior The other hotel called ahead to make sure they could accommodate the event I spoke with Jazmine the event coordinator and she sent the contract over right away

The day of the event the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful The room we were assigned was the Cowboy Room It was very nice and the windows really opened up the room The set up was perfect with 4 round tables and 3 rectangular tables I used the rectangular tables to display all her accomplishments There is not a sounds system in this room but we used a wireless Bluetooth speaker and it worked out

Times are tough for the hospitality industry, and GMs have to do their best with what they have, mainly employees and supplies, both in short supply However, the GM/Owner did a great job during our stay The room was nice, clean and cool

The complimentary breakfast was terrific The front desk and food service staff were friendly and professional It will be our go to place as long as my baby granddaughter and her parents live nearby

Landon Loeffler

Stayed there Saturday February the 19th The reason we went with this hotel was it had an indoor pool but was so cold it might as well have been outside I don’t leave reviews much but this was a pretty big let down for my 4 year old

He loves the water and swimming We tried to stay in but after a couple minutes I was shivering The rest of the hotel was nice and the young woman up front was very nice when I told her about the pool

Brent Head

This Hotel is CLOSED but they don’t tell you until you get there!!!We booked this hotel, got a confirmation, CALLED two days prior to ensure a 2 bed room AND that the pool was open, got that confirmed, showed up to check in, and a sign on the door says to go next door to the Holdiay Inn and that this hotel is CLOSED!!!This was for our daughter’s birthday party (indoor pool, our family) The Holiday Inn next door is owned by the same group and the desk people just figured it was alright to just switch and NOT tell anyone that the reservation was a LIE!Check your dates, owners – you were closed on May 23rd 2022 Our confirmation was 25042998

We showed up and the hotel was CLOSED

The hotel rooms are extremely spacious: almost the size of my apartment back home The front desk was very helpful and attentive Specifically, one night I came down to the lobby and a young man named Derrick, I believe, helped answer my questions about the Denton area and was super polite and engaged during the whole conversation

The GM is the kindest woman and I even saw her playing basketball at the outdoor courts with kids staying at the hotel Would definitely recommend this place for families or even someone looking for great service!

Laura Koehler

It’s rare that I give a lodging place 5 stars so that says something The facility itself is clean and well kept The amenities are true with an indoor pool, guest laundry, gym, basketball court and conference rooms

Every staff member I’ve encountered has been really nice The rooms are def spacious and clean Also, there is no community ice machine; the ice machine works in the fridge

Amanda Ventura

Very clean hotel – from the lobby to the room Friendly staff and accommodating Wonderful hot breakfast which definitely comes I’m handy with kids in tow

The air conditioner did not work in our room and they quickly relocated us to another Conveniently located to restaurants, shops and medical establishmentsRecommend this place for travel

Wow, that is definitely my reaction I was there in Saturday celebrating my wedding anniversary From the moment we walked in they were so nice

So caring, we forgot out toothbrush and they hooked us up We asked for extra blankets and they brought them up quick They even surprised us with a bottle of champagne 🍾! I was blown away with how amazing it all was We had a room with a balcony and the view was amazing The bed was so so sooo comfortable and the room was nice and big Our balcony had a little table and two chairs We sat out there Friday night and had coffee there Saturday morning They have free valet also They are fast with getting your car to you When checking out I really didn’t want to leave, she suggested we come back during the Christmas season and let me tell you I am definitely booking! If you have the chance to stay there you will not be disappointed, there are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance See you guys in a few months again!

Brett Dugué

This was our first stay at this property though we had shopped at the Southlake Town Square for over four years I decided a stay would be an excellent birthday gift for my lady! We were NOT disappointed! In spite of significant remodel construction, our stay was not disrupted by noise and the rooms are sound proofed extremely well such that no noise is heard from highway 114 nearby The hotel amenities are impeccable!

This has to be one of the top Hilton Hotels I have stayed in I am a Hilton Honors member so stay in them frequently and lately I have been disappointed with the Hilton brand This hotel has renewed my love for the Hilton chain

The hotel is clean and well kept and in a great area to walk to get to stores and restaurants Once I checked in, the concierge texted to ask about my room and if I needed anything I have not had that service in years They also offered waters and actually explained that you have to request the housekeeping to clean the room I can’t tell you how many Hilton hotels have not done that since COVID You find out after the fact usually, but these guys are on top of it I asked for directions to a few stores and they text me a map of the town center They also text to make sure my stay was still going great Hands down some of the best customer service I have had in quite a while from the Hilton grooup I particularly remember that Cameron and Stacy were exceptional at the front desk Hilton needs to model all their customer service after this hotel Very pleased

I am a little bit conflicted with writing this review as there were two things that would make me give a 5 star review if it were not for the comfort of the hotel1) The staff were amazing, friendly, welcoming and went above and beyond They provided the service you would expect at a 5 star hotel

2) The location of the hotel is great3) Breakfast was pretty good and the vouchers were a good priceUnfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives as this is a hotel and comfort is paramount1) The bed was lopsided and really uncomfortable The pillows were really bad and the sheets made us itchy2) The room did not stay cool and the A/C was really loud so we could not sleep with it on3) We ordered the dumplings through room services, they were $8 for 3 small dumplings… this was outrageousWe paid for 2 nights However, we only ended up staying one as the first night we had such a poor sleepI would not recommend this hotel It is disappointing because I feel like the only reason it has a 4 star review is because the staff here are so amazing However, the poor comfort is a deal breaker

We stayed at this hotel For the first time because of my family reunion When I enter the hotel the lobby was beautiful and extremely cleaned Our room was cleaned also

Every morning we went down for breakfast and the staff were extremely professional, friendly and always had a smile on their face For our family reunion we used to of their large rooms one for our pajama party game night and the other for my cousin 75th birthday party and both times the rooms were set up very nicely If I’m ever in this area again I would definitely stay at this hotel again

I was there only for a big conference and the facilities for that purpose are great! Very spacious and well equipped, they can provide you with both rooms and catering, if neededI love their lobby, so bright and open, it gives a clear overview of both the ground floor and the level just aboveI peaked at the pool from one of the corridors, and it looks really cool, with a jacuzzi on the side

Only thing I would mention, the carpets could do with a little updating, as they look a bit old and in need of a deep clean Maybe they could be stripped all off and replaced with those beautiful tiles they have in the lobby 🙂

I really enjoyed my stay at dfw lakes The lake and grounds are gorgeous The pool is on the lake

One of 2 pools 1 is inside However the hot tub outside did not work Other than that I enjoyed walking the grounds and being in the pool Breakfast was very good , even for a buffet The bar staff and breakfast staff were very friendly and welcoming, even though they were clearly over worked like everywhere else Hotel is dated But it’s got a nice charm And lots of amenities and space

Such a wonderful, unique experience! My husband and I stayed a few months back and we couldn’t have asked for better Exceptional hospitality, comfortable and clean room, and you can’t beat the alpaca kisses! Upon arrival, we were introduced to the dogs and the herd The next day we got to meet the resident ducks that follow you everywhere and the sweet mini donks! I’m so happy I stumbled upon this place

If we are even in the area again, we will definitely stay again!

MrJim was very fun and cool to be around! He takes great pleasure and pride into making sure everyone is accommodated and is a great person and host! Our room was wonderful it reminded me so much of my grandmothers house in the country and the scenery and vibes were so peaceful and relaxing My husband and I left recharged and feeling closer to each other

The Alpaca experience was one of a kind and a once in a life time experience I recommended you read the books about the start of everything as MrJim and his family makes you feel very welcome We had a great time and will be back

Washer n dryer wasn’t working which for me was a big deal but not a deal breaker, very clean rooms! I stay at alot of hotels and when you walk in it gives a good feeling of a “nice place” and it definitely is The lady that checked me in told me she was just filling in and apologized a few times but literally was just as efficient as anyone she was quick and to the point no issues, the one thing I enjoyed the most out of any hotel was the fan in the room!!! It made me feel at home with a ceiling fan!! Helps me sleep

And for my dog they have a nice fenced in area in the back next to the pool but just past that there’s another nice paved walkway towards the road that’s shaded you can also go which was nice I thought Overall I paid for a nicer room and for a $200 room (with pet fee) I was beyond impressed compared to other chains around the same price

Serious Gamer

Manipulative and dishonest staffFront desk lady checked me in at 5am when records indicate I didn’t even arrive at this location until 6 in order to limit my stay in the room When pointing out the discrepancy, the morning manager noticed the issue, changed his story and called the police one when I asked for a copy of my check in paperwork so I could dispute the payment

If you want to ripped off this is the perfect location for you 1/10 Will not be staying again
