My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here The breakfast was outstanding and changed everyday The hotel staff were always friendly and attentive

We had an issue with a shower drain that was resolved within hours and while we were out somewhere on the coast This hotel was very relaxing and really offered a great location for us to do just about anything we wanted Definitely will be booking here again in the future

The hotel lobby was beautiful I was shocked at how fancy this hotel was as soon as I came in the door The room did not disappoint at all

There was a big bath tub and everything was so clean The bed was so comfortable and the room was spacious Highly recommend this hotel The free breakfast option was great too Plus you had the option to use it for a free cocktail between 5-6pm That was a first!

This is an update to my earlier reviews We are wrapping up an 8 day stay in one of the “villas,” which are the Grand Hotel’s premium rooms They are located in two story building behind the main hotel

Initially we were placed in a first floor villa room That room was disappointing There were some minor maintenance issues but the biggest problem was noise from the room above oursWe brought the problem to the attention of the front desk staff They were very responsive, particularly Mona, who is wonderful They offered to allow us to move to a second floor villa room, which we did The second floor room is completely quiet and there are no maintenance issues We are delighted with our new roomThe hotel is older and they may still be catching top on some deferred maintenance from the Covid slowdown, however, the gardens are attractive, the breakfast is upscale compared to most chain hotels (with multiple hot options each morning) and the complimentary afternoon beer and wine is a nice touchWe would stay here again but we would request a second floor villa room or, for a shorter stay, a room in the main hotel

Sam was the night desk woman She was so kind and after hrs driving around trying to find a place We found this Gem

EVERYONE is nice Upon walking in we knew we’d love it for our stay The rooms are very nice and impeccably clean Felt so comfortable Roomy rooms and beds are so comfortable Now moving along to breakfast LOVED the idea of them serving us It was set up with class They handled the food with gloves No slop from visitors Very clean The refrigerator was a great idea it had sealed fruit, yogurt, and milk which was self served Cereal was served by personnel which was boxed not in those funky turning thing The did have out a pancake machine with a touch only of a button They came out of bottom All you needed to do was place a plate underneath it Overall, I have absolutely not one complaint Elizabeth was a very nice and informative woman Need anything you just call 5 star for me people and I’m tuff Referring to Overall experience Thanks Maple Tree Inn

This is place is a gem It was so clean, the staff were super friendly and helpful I loved the jacuzzi and pool, my daughter and I practically lived there during our stay

Super quiet location, but not far from restaurants, and grocery stores About 15 mins away from Great America, and an hour from Sant Cruz Beach boardwalk Not to mention a decent free breakfast, normally bacon, scrambled eggs, pancakes, yogurts, fruits ,pastries, with coffee and juices Definitely booking again

Zoe Field

gave us the wrong room at check in, was combative about changing it (despite having paid for two beds, was given one) and refused to give us any more than three towels as three women The pool had no towels at all (hence why we needed more towels, also have you ever tried to shower with one hotel towel that isn’t full sized with long hair?) They kept repeating that they told me I need to leave my dirty towels outside of the room before noon to get clean ones, I don’t need clean ones, I need MORE TOWELS

Not only did they respond defensively, but completely refused to give us any extra towels at allThe breakfast was cold, you don’t get turndown service daily, and the facilities are so-so really disappointing two night stay for over $400 I recommend staying somewhere nicer for more money if you’re already willing to shell out this amount for this place

I recently used their meeting room for a birthday party and I have to say everything was perfect! Front desk was very nice and helpful and so was maintenance and the bar tender The lobby was extremely nice and very clean Bathrooms were very clean and easy access

I definitely recommend this hotel They made it so easy for me especially being that I’m on crutches Definitely would recommend and will be coming back for sure!

I stayed at this hotel with my bf for 1 week The hotel is new, clean and the staff is very friendly, specially MARIA at the restaurant, she’s a sweetheart and her food is amazing! She treated us like family and gave us great recommendations for getting aroundThe only downside I’d say is the first room we had on the 1st floor in front of the pool was too noisy but when they switched us to the 2nd floor was great!!I’d definitely stay again here and I recommend it!

I give the Cupertino Hotel 3 stars for basic staff like maids, bar tender, breakfast crew, etc We did have some issues with management, but those were eventually resolved to our satisfactionWe booked their catering / meeting room for an event

The “chef” seemed to put little thought or flavor into the food Management later apologized, but, it was a memorial service and we only had one chance to get it rightThe common space carpeting was in poor shape The AC in our room was too loud to use at night The toilet and the bath fan weren’t much better All working fine, just not ideal The outdoor hot tub was “out of service”When we checked out the printer was down, so no receipt We were emailed one a week or two or three later They are building a new hotel next door so perhaps they are deferring maintenance here to pay for thatLove the happy hour idea and the morning breakfast

Elizabeth T

The staff at this hotel go above and beyond! The rooms are clean and modern The bathroom is an excellent size with a great shower head and full bath, and the bed was comfortable Wrapped up fruit, a Pellegrino, and a welcome letter greeted us when we entered our room! I Stayed here with my son, we had a great time at at happy hour! The breakfast was decent, great muffins! Downside: the pool is absolutely not heated, though beautiful and clean, We stayed on the second floor and we noticed that we couldn’t find the staircase

Not clearly marked which isn’t very safe especially if there was a fire or something The only reason we noticed this is because the elevator on our floor closest to our room didn’t feel very safe and was filthy The elevator from the main lobby, however was very nice, so we just used that one The value of this hotel is unbeatable and It’s in a great location close to the freeway and shopping etc I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Brenda Rivas

I love this hotel The staff is great, the rooms are nice and clean, and the prices are affordableI recommend this hotel to anyone in the area

There’s a nice hot tub, a pool, free breakfast, free wifi, free parking, some rooms got fire places, hardwood floors, you name it it’s comfortable and relaxing ❀

Front desk staff is wonderfully helpful and kind Easy check in and out, and lovely rooms Splurge for the king suite with bath if you can, its worth it!! Hotel is clean, parking is easy

I forgot a blanket in my room while checking out, they were prompt in having someone go up to the room and bring it to me within 2 minutesAs a bay area/San Jose native who comes back to visit now, this has been my favorite hotel stay by far Thanks Juniper!

Daniel Varela

As a regular Hilton customer I have seen usually really great service and care to detailHowever this hotel needs a little help

I’ve always been offered a couple bottles of water beyond my first night I was reminded that water is only available the first day Strike 1 Strike 2 the restaurant downstairs has crumbs on the dinning tables and the coffee saucer doesn’t look like it’s seen a bit of soap The seating outside looks nice I’ve asked if the heater could be turned on, I was responded with “I don’t know” A little bit of extra care can go a long way Sometimes the little things can go a long way

This is perfectly located! It is part of the Rivermark Shopping Village Great coffee spots, eateries, a nail salon, two banks, local library and a grocery Hotel was nice and clean, we has a studio king suite and my parents had a king bedroom suite a couple of doors down

The cleaning staff was super helpful as we had toddler constantly making a mess and need the vacuum frequently Front desk staff was welcoming and competent I love be able to park on the second level of the parking deck as our room faced that direction and it was easy to see the car from our window Breakfast was a mix of hot and cold items and I love the variety of foodAll around great stay!

The rooms are great and always clean The restaurant is good If you need a place to stay especially for business, this is your address The only thing that need to be taken care of is the vending machines on the floors They are always out of stock but they are always working 24/7 making noise 🙂

True to brand, this property has fast, fun and friendly serviceThe rooms have all of the AC essentials, and are in excellent (like new) condition Very clean

Beds are comfortableLocation is quiet despite being right near the main boulevard (El Camino Real)Parking is a little tight, and the fact that they charge for parking is questionable given that it’s an unattended lot I get the parking pass to prevent locals or non guests from using the lot, but charging a fee is a bit excessive

Miri Lim

I stayed one night in June, and I want to share about the excellent staff, Louise I had plans to have drinks with my coworkers at the bar but unfortunately the bartender called out sick so my coworkers and I didn’t know what to do The front desk staff told us we can pick up drinks from the liquor store across the street

We did that and Louise took care of us by providing us with cups and napkins We were seated outside and he left the door open for us so we can stay late He was so nice and professional! I would definitely stay again As with any AC Hotels I love the clean rooms and the quality of the bed

Kristen Parker

I am a very light sleeper, and in general prefer to have a quiet hotel room There is very little sound proofing at this hotel I could hear every step of the person above me and every word from the room next to me

We decided not to stay the night because I knew I would not be able to sleepThe hotel staff was very helpful and kind and provided a refund The hotel was clean and modern, so if you’re a heavy sleeper or don’t mind a lot of noise you’ll be fine But if you’re looking for quiet, I’d suggest a different hotel

The charm of the place grew on me over my stay At first I thought I was checking into a haunted mansion, it is very obviously an older hotel But the room upgrades are nice, the bathroom was completely redone and the bed was nice and comfy

The furniture in the room is old, but it works (both functionally and aesthetically) They have a lovely breakfast array out every morning with coffee, teas, fresh fruit (whole and cut), cereal, pastries, yogurt, and more The hotel was extremely quiet, and parking is super close and easy The front desk staff are lovely and super helpful This place is definitely not your modern chain hotel, but I appreciate it for what it is Would stay again

Leigh D’Angelo

The hotel, room, and eating areas were very clean The hotel was so quiet The room was spacious

The continental breakfast offerings were fresh There were no hot items available for breakfast; however, it did not matter to me What was offered was more than adequate! Parking, indoor or outside, was free Price was right We will definitely stay here again!

DON’T BE FOOLED by the exterior (and maybe the lobby area too ) It’s a hidden gem under a haunted-house coverI stayed here for the first time in April 2022 even though I have driven past hundreds of times

this hotel is in perfect location for people who like to have easy (and great selection of) restaurant access, like to have HOT FREE breakfast, and who do business in the valley, especially the fruit companyThe room is very quiet the interior is nicely done, not tacky, and thoughtful, ie two universal outlets and plenty of type-A (US) outlets, stable WiFi connection with wired connection available AC is great and the window could be open up if you prefer natural airI stay with a lot of chain hotels for work and personal travel I am confident to say I will choose here over Juniper/Aloft/Marriott in Cupertino Did I even mention its very competitive price?I wrote this comment in the hope of they survive in this tough situation, even though I would rather keep this hidden gem myself

this is the place!!Next baseball tournament we will definitely suggest Comfort Inn Sunnyvale to all the parents😊

No shower curtain (wth) and the room telephone doesn’t work to call the front desk

looks like I’ll be taking baths the next 2 nights 😕😕*update: couldn’t take a bath as the drain was loose & not completely attached to the tub, so i went to the front desk & was told I had to wait 30 minutes until they finished lunch for someone to bring a shower curtain I was able to obtain a half day rate as I needed a 330pm check out, so that’s a positive

Enoch Moeller

On the plus side, location and price are good If you’re looking for something fancy or well maintained, this may not be the best choice for you Parking is free, but challenging (lots of large trucks parked there)

This is a relatively inexpensive lodging option close to a number of tech companies It tends to have a lot of construction traffic and some longer-term residents

We had issues with wheelchair accessible rooms They put us on the second floor with no elevator So they moved us downstairs into the handicapped room, which we didn’t need, just one on the first floor

It looked like it had been cleaned quickly (there was trash on the floor) and it smelled of smoke When they moved us to the room we requested with 2 beds, it was better, but still had trash on the floor and hair in the shower I like the in room microwave and coffee maker The breakfast was great The lobby and breakfast room have obviously been updated more recently than the rooms and look wonderful Overall, I just felt like the hotel listing was not an accurate picture of what you get The staff were apologetic about the accessibility issues but overall I still felt like they could’ve done more My son uses a wheelchair and they put us on the second floor with no elevator and then did not even discount us when we had to downgrade to a one bed room I’m not sure if I should blame them or expedia but it should’ve been more clear that this isn’t fully accessible

Extremely rude staffs (especially Alisa or whatever her name is) & unprofessional manager This hotel easily made it to the worst hotel service that we have encountered, ever I mean it’s a 3-star hotel after all, but the service they provide is hardly a 1 star (extremely surprised at how this is even a Marriott chain hotel)

Stayed a lot with Marriott, but maybe they should really do a staff re-training PARTICULARLY at this location Also, remember to RECORD your conversation when you first checked in or when you checked out, so you can hold them accountable for what they promised you in the first place Zero credibility!!! Save your money and go somewhere else!

This is the best business hotel in Cupertino I’ve stayed at this hotel two times so far The room rate is not cheap (~$300) but most other hotels in this area are similar

However, the quality of this hotel is superb comparing to the others The room space is very enough and equipped Kitchen and bathroom are also very clean Complimentary breakfast is satisfactory too, those are not just muffin and bagel which other “Inn” level hotels provideAlso this hotel is located in the middle of the food court, those are great too These famous restaurants include Ippudo which is one of the best Ramen places in Bay area I will stay at this hotel whenever I visit this area

Andreas

Room was clean and nice, but the staff was rude and unprofessionalRoom was accidentally checked out on the second day of a 3 days stayRequested for a late check out upon checking in and was given a 4 pm checkout time

Tried to reconfirm the next day regarding the check out time again, reception said there was no request made and no note was given regarding the requestComplained to the reception and the only thing said was “there is no note regarding late checkout request, and we cannot take your request now because of the occupancy rate for the next day” NO APOLOGIES WAS MADETalked to the manager the next day, she made it clear to stop wasting her time to complain because there is nothing that she could do to helpAt least the manager had a decency to apologizeBeen a loyal Marriott customer and currently a gold member, by far the worst experience encountered while staying with Marriott

Great location for the conference Food served during conference was good; however, limited options for non-meat eaters especially for breakfast No non meat protein options

The only other critique is placing water bottles in rooms only available for special members otherwise there is a charge Why not provide water at check in to these members rather than those of us not at the same level of membership seeing the water is not for us in the room? Not very welcoming

Jenn Thompson

This hotel is in need of some serious updating The furniture is old, and the bathrooms are outdated with patch up work and peeling wallpaper The hallways are very loud – doors slam, so your morning comfort depends on how early your neighbors decide to start their days

The location is great and having the market downstairs is nice The rooms seemed to be cleaned well It’s definitely not as upscale as the pictures and reviews make you think

Antonio Ly

I typically do not write reviews, but my experience at this Hyatt was poor, which is sad because Hyatt has always been a go to for me when travelling We arrived late at night only to discover right before bed that our toilet did not work After calling the front desk to report the issue, we went downstairs to the front desk (at midnight) to switch rooms

We went up to our new room to find the toilet leaking, and there were no toiletry items such as q-tips and cotton pads in our new room We reported the issue and requested compensation The hotel told us they would get back to us After hearing no response the next day, we followed up and were offered a $100 dining credit to be used at the hotel (where rooms service closes at 10pm), which was worthless to us because we did not plan on dining at the hotel However, that was what they could offer so we accepted and ordered room service When we checked out, they charged us the full amount for the room service, and did not consider out $100 credit We had to follow up to be refunded Overall, whilst the employees were polite in their handling of the matter, the service received was poor which was very disappointing for a 4 star Hyatt

I’m not sure why it’s rated as a 3 star hotel I thought it was greatThe Aloft lobby had games for families

They had great out door seating and a nice pool The room was very clean and modern I really loved having a Bluetooth speaker in the room ( super cute, shaped like a fender amp) I would stay here again It was about a 15 min drive over to the mountain view amphitheatre with traffic

Jennifer P

loved the non-carpted floors (I hope / trust it is wiped very clean between guests!) The towels were not the cleanest looking but again, I trust they were washed well I also loved that the water pressure in the shower was strong to be able to take a quicker and nice warm shower

The parking lot towards the back of the property could use better lighting, it is so dark that you wouldn’t be able to see if someone tries to break in

Stayed here for a business trip Hotel is pretty good (except for noise isolation), and would have been a 4/5 star review, except that:They didn’t charge me for the hotel room; when I called, it was hard to reach the manager who never returned my calls Finally they just charged me again for it, but didn’t send a receipt

Management seems pretty incompetent and billing was a pain Please fix

I think most guests of this hotel might be Apple visitors because it’s very close to Apple Park So am I, actually I tried to book Residence Inn Cupertino which is located a block away but if I tried to book over 2 days the rate soared up so I stayed only two days there and moved to this hotel I know these two hotels belong to the same hotel chain and there is a price difference, but comparing to Residence Inn, this hotel was so disappointing

After coming back on the end of day 1, I noticed the room was not cleaned I knew their policy is cleaning not every day so I understood the situation and went to the front desk and asked to clean on the next day and he said yesOn the next day, I came back to the room and saw the room was not cleaned yet, I went to the front desk again My actual complaint is not due to not cleaning the room When I went to the front desk, the guy was processing the check in with a lady which seemed a new guest I waited there for 10 min and had to watch them to chat I know they need to be kind to all guests but I’m pretty sure the check-in process was done soon but they were laughing and chatting endlessly even he was aware of me waiting there Finally the chat was over and he said, the room issue was not his fault and he surely asked the cleaners so it’s their fault That’s fine, how can I find it’s who’s fault but again, more annoying thing was disregarding the guest waiting there and just did whatever check-in process for a long time until he wanted to finishIn addition to that, overall quality is also super much better at Residence Inn, so don’t stay here and go to RI instead

I drove up the pacific coast highway, very long day, called at 12:15am and waited on hold for 45 minutes to be told I could schedule for that same night Before putting the reservation in I wanted to confirm with my brother so I asked if there were plenty of rooms and I could call my brother then just show up without a reservation They said fine, there are plenty of rooms for the night

I show up at the hotel 45 minutes later to be told you CAN’T book for the same night after midnight That the system automatically makes it the next night so there was no way to let me stay ARE YOU KIDDING ME? You can’t let someone stay in an OPEN room after midnight if it wasn’t booked before midnight? It’s absolutely shocking that I was both turned away and was also completely mislead on the phone I drove out of my way, and had to figure out my alternative options even later Their system is beyond flawed and the miscommunication was exceptionally damaging Called Hilton and didn’t have to wait on hold at all, and they’re letting me book after midnight This experience was categorically appalling I don’t blame the front desk, she was doing what Marriott tells her to do, but Marriott is dropping the ball big time Absurd Just absurd It’s the middle of the night, I’m exhausted, in the parking lot of the hotel I was all but certain I was welcome at Back to the road Thanks Marriott!

Nice place, the rooms with the kitchenettes are pretty great and have a homey feel The beds are not super comfortable and the parking (garage, shared with the shopping center) is a bit inconvenient, but not enough to be a problem Complimentary coffee and breakfast is always nice

There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance Oh and I will mention one thing that threw me off at first: maybe it was just the day or time I was checking in (Sunday at around 5pm) but I had to ring the intercom to go through the main lobby doors, the doors were not open Just a heads up!

SIX MONTHS I gave this hotel in advance to get it right I had booked a hotel for 2 guests, my treat to stay at this location for a concert at Shoreline While booking the hotel I asked what was needed so my guests would have zero costs accrued to them checking in or out

I was told to send back a form authorizing all charges as well as my ID and front and back of credit card to 1 Hold the room 2 Hold for incidentals 3 Charge the room upon check out Easy enough right? I guess not I checked in with this hotel THREE TIMES in order to ask if they needed anything else from me I kept being assured it was fine Well what would you know my guests were charged the $220 upon checkout which is double upsetting because they never should have been asked for a card in the first place How embarrassing when you are attempting to host a couple for a weekend out I am fuming mad, the hotel also looks great in the pictures and is barely hanging on to budget motel status in person I would give zero stars if I could

The room was clean and beautiful The grounds are beautiful We had a king bed that was more of a queen

It is a Murphy bed The walls are extremely thin You can hear every noise upstairs and next-door Also if you’re on the first floor by the lobby you hear every one coming and going This is a solid place to stay if you are not a light sleeper Also their key maker wasn’t working so evey time we entered they had to open our door

It’s a decent little hotel, but the photos and marketing are a bit misleading, in my opinion It tries to sell itself as an upscale, boutique hotel with the website and photos showing the admittedly very nice grounds and common areas However, the actual rooms are not that nice, you can hear everything through the thin walls, and one of the 3 staff we interacted with wasn’t all that friendly (though the other two were extremely friendly and professional)

On the plus side, there’s a nice trail directly adjacent to the property, they have bikes that can be borrowed, and the prices are good We still checked out after the first night due to the noise
