We only stayed 30 minutes the cabin was cute But we realize there was no where to cook food There’s a grill that is connected to the ground about 500 feet away behind the garage

It was very cold beware that there are neighbors and it sounded like they were coming thru the wall I guess it depends on what kind of guests you get The couch was extremely uncomfortable the bed was extremely hard, put some money into a better bed and furniture for people’s comfort It is a cute cabin it just was not for us Hocking Hills is our only place Owners were nice only charged us cancellation fee since we left

My husband stayed a couple days and nights April 7-9 The people that work here are so kind and show wonderful hospitality! The room was very clean, the pillows and blankets were so soft it felt like sleeping on a cloud in heaven We’ve never slept so amazing in any hotel

Everything we needed was immediately accessible, and here’s the kicker- they actually will brew you a fresh pot of really great quality coffee in the lobby anytime, it’s never stale old or burntWe could go on and on, the prices are incredible, great services, high quality bedding and beds and wonderful staff! We are looking forward to staying again next time we are around this area!

Nancy Miller

The staff were nice enough but once we got home we realized we had some clothes stolen out of our room while we were at the Pro Football Hall of Fame I am thankful we didn’t leave any electronics or valuable in the room Also upon arrival sheets and comforter had hairs all over it and found a spider in the sheets

They gave us new clean sheets and comforter but that was a little unnerving The hotel is really run down and needs to have some money put into it The breakfast was very minimal

Bob Treue

The Sleep Inn of Bolivar was bad They had an excellent location off the highway, next to a McDonald’s, next to a park, and next to a grocery store, but the hotel itself was mediocre The internet was brutally slow at 3 MBps

The walls were paper thin My neighbor’s alarm went off at 4AM and woke me up The shower was one of those 1970s claustrophobic 3′ x 3′ plastic chambers, although the water was hot and there was good water pressure The complimentary breakfast was weak as well All in all, great location, but not much else to offer

This is an exceptionally well kept and beautiful park Paved throughout with beautiful landscaping The staff were exceptional, helpful, and just plain pleasant

Great indoor pool and hot tub and a nice walking trailThe local area has lots of Amish style restaurants and shopping There are events in the park you wouldn’t want to miss so do a little research and make reservations ahead of time

Gary Riemer

Beautiful RV resort A medium sized campground with many amenities including; full hookup w/cable at every site, indoor heated swimming pool/hot tub, snack bar, arcade, fitness room, laundromat, campstore and worship services The sites are spacious and all paved along with paved roads

NO DUST OR DIRT Large bathhouse with everything clean inside and out When visiting the Amish area this is a great place to stay Oops also a couple of cabins to rent

Andrew Kulesh

We have camped all over the country, but this campground is one of our favorites We have camped here many times before Pool and the hot tub are great

Campground is completely paved and manicured like a golf course Their most outstanding feature is their staff They are the most accommodating group of people I have ever dealt with This time we pulled in and our site was a little short for us My wife went and asked if we could move They offered multiple sites to chose from It doesn’t get any better than that

Very clean room, good bed, great shower We usually complain about beds, didn’t even think about it here Maintenance is very good

Apparently recently remodeled, they did a nice job We are in the area frequently, and have tried multiple hotels This is the one we plan to standardize on This is a tourist area, so prices are generally high This Best Western is a better deal than others we’ve tried in the area

Duane Hellier

I stayed here while my fiancée’s grandfather was hospitalized and passed away The staff are wonderful The front desk staff were friendly and smiled

They showed understanding and compassion during the stay Things changed with our family and the death so quickly, causing us to change length of stay a few times Never once did anyone exhibit any amount of frustration at my changes, even though I am sure it was not easy to deal with Grace is simply the most pleasant and friendly hotel employee I have ever met Her smile is contagious and she genuinely seemed to care about my in-laws and my whole situation She expressed sympathy and worked to make sure we had what we needed and were charged the appropriate amount It is rare that I look at a hotel stay as an experience I am glad I had, but that was absolutely the case here Thank you for everything

Julie Miller

Staff from Renee at the front desk to housekeeping to the breakfast gals were friendly and very helpful They made everything easy Room and common areas were spotless

Bed slept great! Breakfast offerings were varied enough to make everyone happy Animals were allowed, but it was quiet and peaceful For the price, nothing can beat this location or team of employees Not even the vaunted nearby Schoenbrunn Inn (at 2x the price!) had the warmth and genuine hospitality these folks showed our party We will be back!

) Very good breakfast A good spot to reach Amish country the next day or to visit Dover Thanks Al and Natalie

Because of a tornado in the area, we had to find new accommodations and this was the ONLY hotel in a 30 mile area that had rooms and electricityThe prices were VERY reasonable

we got a large King Suite for $135 The only negative is that the mattress wasn’t very comfortable It wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t what I’ve come to expect from most hotels The breakfast bar was adequate as well The staff on hand were always pleasant & helpful

Jacob G. (Jacob)

We stayed here for a wedding in April The whole hotel stinks, and second floor smells like smoke and chemicals combined Our room was dirty and outdated

The carpet was stained and worn, beds were terrible, but the only clean thing in the room There was trash on the floor, and the whole bathroom was a mess There was a head of hair in the shower, and mold everywhere Breakfast was lacking, and the elevator is horrific we would have stayed at another hotel nearby if we were not there for the wedding

Rey Riveras

The service was good, friendly personnel, the room and the areas where really clean but I give it 3 stars because of the bed is the most uncomfortable bed is good for 2 days but if you are going to spend more than that you going to regret it We spend 6 nights and by the third we all was in back pain hips pain and our vacation became something uncomfortable and unforgettable and not for a good reason

Room, bathroom & hot tub were spotless! So nice to not have to clean a room you are paying for! Lil card on stand said Shawna had cleaned (She did a great job!! ) We stayed 7/23/22 and were very satisfied with our room The carpeting( entrance door marked #1) smelled like garbage had sat there on the carpet to long

Only issue we had

Adam Wilkins (Anarin)

I’ll admit I was a bit shocked at the price for the night for a “quality inn”, in my experience this company wasn’t very goodBut, this place was pretty amazing Clean room, comfortable bed, nice front desk people

Cannot say one bad thing about this place

I don’t know why anyone would leave anything but a 5 star review on this hotel It’s so charming! The host was so friendly The rooms are spotless! There are hairdryers as well as plenty of towels, soaps, and hair products in the room

It was refreshing to see a bible in the room as hotels usually do not have them in them anymore I love the outside seating, they have several romantic gazebos, different chairs spread out, and a beautiful swing underneath a gorgeous tree! The beds are comfortable and they have an extra soft blanket and extra pillow in the dresser drawer A lot of closet and dresser space for a family run hotel I will definitely come stay here again!

Lauren Todd

We enjoyed everything about our stay The room was cozy, staff that we encountered very friendly and the package that we had was fun! We were able to visit a lot of places that I normally wouldn’t know existed! The freebies that the partnered businesses give out are good too! The only disappointment I had was talking to a local shop owner who told us that some people won’t even shop the store, just come in to get the freebie and run off We will definitely stay again… package or not😀

jo alexander

I was brought to this inn because of a winter package they offered I can’t complain about much The bed was a bit too firm for me, but that’s a personal preference

The deal that they offered that partnered with other businesses in the area made it worth it The lady at the front desk was very nice The cleaning ladies were also quite nice, because we forgot something in the room and they allowed us to go back in to get it If they run specials with other businesses in the town again I would for sure say give it a shot Good luck Dutch Host Inn

Our room was ok No continental breakfast provided, a breakfast in a bag instead However, they never told us you had to ask for it- they were kept in a back room

So for 2 days we got nothing! Pool is still advertised, but it’s not open- they should fix it or update the website- very misleading especially for those with kids They screwed up some of the rooms and gave my aunt and uncle’s handicap room to someone else So when my aunt & uncle arrived, they had NO ROOM They had to go to my sister’s room to get ready for the wedding and you guessed it, her room is NOT handicap accessible so my aunts wheelchair didn’t fit in the bathroom! The hotel, at 11pm, then had the couple in the handicap room move out to another room (how confusing and ineptly run this place is) They weren’t even there, another relative had to move their stuff! We were all there for an out of town wedding so this hotel had an opportunity to show off their professionalism and courteous service This would be a really nice hotel if the staff were trained better and the owners took some pride

Joan Ryan

Had a reservation and confirmation number for a nearby family wedding They somehow lost many of our family’s reservations When we found out, we all tried to remake reservations but they were not helpful and downright rude

If you call for anything and get Rhonda, just hang up and call back later It’s not worth dealing with her nasty attitude Glad I’m never coming back here again
