DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL FOR EVENTS AT SPOOKY NOOK! They will charge you even if your event is cancelledMy basketball team’s tournament was cancelled 2 days prior to arrival When we called the warehouse hotel to cancel and refund our reservation, they would not provide a full refund given we were within 72 hours of our arrival

DISASTER! The reason we aren’t coming is because Spooky Nook cancelled our tournament and alerted us within the 72 hour window!! Complete bait and switch Shameful to cancel on an event and still charge you when you no longer have a reason to come to the facility! Speaks to their greed and customer service Do not trust this hotel They will screw you

I booked a Sights and Sounds show, I requested a 7pm show I was booked the deal! Here’s what I got arrived at 4pm for check in was presented with tickets to show that was booked for 3pm I stated that there was a mistake the clerk said oh no there’s never a show at 7pm on week days

Smh in discuss I asked to speak with the manager Was told none would be available until tomorrow, I asked where’s the restaurant and was told it was closed 🙃 Now I can’t get a meal or a show 🤔 but I can stay in the room with no microwave and I want to cry! This place is on a secluded dirt road and should be named the old alley The desk chair in my room almost put me on the floor 🙃 I feel like I’ve stepped into the twilight zone! I’ve never experienced anything like this and I don’t recommend this place! Over 2hrs drive and the only thing available to eat is about another 30 minutes drive I can’t believe this 😫 and there’s no accountability! That’s why I decided to warn others this place is a whole in the wall and they bamboozled me good! Don’t let this happen to you purchase your own tickets for shows there’s no emails sent out so you don’t have a clue about what’s actually purchase, until you arrive YOU’VE BEEN WARNED AND THE STAFF NEEDS SENSITIVITIES TRAINING AND DIVERSITY TRAINING That young ignorant clerk ought to be glad that I know Jesus

Emma Daniels

My whole anniversary was a bust The booking agent screwed me up I wanted 😒 evening show and received tickets for a show that started a hr before My check in time I told front desk clerk that there’s a mistake and she told me to call theater I did and was told that the hotel would have to switch tickets

When I was told tickets are non refundable I have literally been sick since! I would check out but the drive home is so long 😩 don’t let my experience become yours book your own TICKETS AND THERE MUCH BETTER HOTELS ALSO RESTAURANT ONLY OPEN ON WEEKEND I DROVE 37 MINUTES TO FIND A RESTAURANT SMH THE FOOD WAS OVER PRICED AND A ADDED DISAPPOINTMENT 😞 YOU’VE BEEN WARNED ⚠️

I got a room at the MainStay Suites because I needed something affordable that would give me some peace and quiet It checked the box for me Check in desk was super friendly and very helpful

The room was comfortable and clean Note: this is not a five star hotel so it was slightly dated but functional I would stay here again, no questions asked

Aubrey Martin

This was a solid stay All the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating We had a room with two queens and pullout sofa which was enough for 5 people

The room offers a stove, full fridge, dishes, cups silverware, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and toaster Easy to make yourself at home, grab groceries to cook Grab and go breakfast in the morning is great if you are traveling with kids (cereal, instant oatmeal, fruit, muffins-assorted flavors, yogurt-assorted flavors, danishes-assorted flavors, coffee, tea, flavored creamers, heat and eat breakfast sandwiches) Descent size pool that goes from 3-5 feet Pool towels provided Outdoor seating by and close to the pool Three floors, one elevator that worked efficiently The AC in the room worked extremely well My only issue with the room was it smelled like a cigarette and minor wall paper peeling (nothing a little fabreeze can’t fix) Beds comfy as well as the pillows very soft and fluffy If in the area for work or a quick getaway, I would stay here again Scoops icecream shop (they also serve food) and mini golf are 50ft awayso quick bites, desert, and entertainment close Shopping, grocery stores, restaurants are no more than 15 minute drive

Clean, comfortable, accommodatingThe room looks like the photos, is completely cleaned, and had absolutely no problems with check in or the room The gentleman Logan at the check in desk was very polite and accommodating We were able to see the rooms prior to checking in and all questioned were answered promptly and fully

There’s a full breakfast in the morning and a pool The hotel appears to be clean and well maintained Great place to stay

I stayed for one night (Sunday to Monday):Relatively new property The exterior is nice and well kept The interior lobby was also well kept and clean

The front desk agent, didn’t catch his name, was very friendly, quick and helpful The fitness room was nicer than most hotelsThe room was an overall B As a pet friendly hotel I expect some animal hair But the shower was completely filled with it And the bedding is tucked in a way that you don’t see the comforter However, when I untucked the top flat sheet there was a orange stain on the comforter The fan stayed on all night despite the setting on heatThe walls were very thin I could hear the conversations of the people next door as well as the running in the hallway above

Anastasia Paszkiewicz

This hotel was beautiful, clean and the staff was so friendly I’m not typically a guest at Best Western hotel customer – picked this one because of location – what a wonderful discovery Great location, complimentary breakfast, friendly staff, indoor pool! The host at the desk contacted me at about 9pm assuring I was okay and on my way Upon arrival the host greeted me by name and checked me in Everyone who worked here including the GM were extremely helpful and kind Making jokes and being personable which is something hard to find nowadays The hotel provided breakfast for free in the morning They also have a outdoor pool and small fitness center The hotel is located on a main road with plenty of food to eat no matter the time TVs are smart capable with apps and Direct TV for those who still watch cable I would recommend this to anyone traveling within this area Thank you for making my family comfortable during our nights stay We truly enjoyed the short time we were there Lastly rooms were extremely clean and odorless Don’t be fooled by the affordable rate this is the best hotel for the amazing price!

We had a great stay at this hotel Staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy We booked this hotel because it was more affordable for the kids

(We decided they were going to kick in some money for our weekend getaway) I generally try to book newer hotels but with this being an older hotel it is well maintained Rooms were spacious and clean Lots to do for the kids including 2 pools, game room, ping pong and a pool table Great location also Will definitely be back!Noelle W

I booked this hotel as a stop over for our band returning to Minnesota after a tour in Boston Jane from the sales team was amazing getting everything set up Communication from initial call to arrival was awesome

When we arrived they had everything ready for a quick check in Because we arrived later than planned they adjusted the pool hours so the kids had time to swim Due to mechanical issues with our bus we needed to stay later than our scheduled check out They gave us a room to store luggage, showed us the locker rooms so the kids could enjoy the outdoor pool The manager Randy was very accommodating He helped us order pizza since we were scheduled to eat on the road He had space for us to eat Highly recommend this hotel for a group!!!

Evelyn Carbajales

We had a great stay! We stayed in the family suite and our room was nice and comfortable, the beds are spacious and also comfortable The hotel felt very welcoming the moment I walked in to check-in! Would’ve rated it 2 stars during construction bc the pool is closed and we expected to be able to use it as it’s not listed out of service For the price paid we should’ve been made aware ahead of timeHowever, the concierge who greets patrons and serves breakfast was so kind and fun to talk w it bumped our stay back up a notch

Room was fantastic for 5 people Very comfortable and clean

Sharon Reed

The staff here are wonderful Very friendly My GPS not working correctly and Jeanne or Wilma met me at gas station nearby and they directed me to hotel

Both these gals very very kind I’d recommend this hotel due to the staff and nice rooms and nice location They also have a breakfast Overall a 5 star experience in a small town hotel

Matthew Hiserodt

Solid option for travelers in the Lancaster area Hotel prices in this neck of the woods are in my opinion greatly inflated That said the sleep inn was very reasonable compared to other options

Room was small but clean with comfortable beds Only reason I give a four instead of a five-star review was that the continental breakfast is exceptionally sparse and the water in the pool is very cold

My wife and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner here with 26 people It was outstanding from top to bottom! We reserved the cellar downstairs for our big group and the atmosphere is very nice down there It was perfect! Our server Alexis was fantastic and had even helped us prior to the dinner with booking the downstairs and explaining everything

The food was amazing as always Cooked perfectly and served hot, which is tough when pumping out 26 plates at once! Everyone raved about their dinners!Definitely an A+ from myself and my crew of 26Thank you to everyone at The Railroad House!

Amazing place for a wedding venue We had a small reception in the summer cottage We got beautiful pictures in front of the old brick and in the back yard

Their gardens were beautifully decorated with flowers and pumpkins for October Lauren was very helpful with planning and fixed my wedding cake when it wasn’t decorated how I envisioned The food and atmosphere was awseome – exactly what I wanted Everyone raved about the food and drinks Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to make this an anniversary stop

Great Stay at this Hotel I’m a Hilton Honors Gold Member and stay at quite a few Hilton Properties The front desk said that the property was 6 years old, but it looked new

Super clean, friendly staff and excellent service We had a king room and it was spacious and comfortable Only thing is this rather large desk in the middle of the room were they planning on having a board meeting in-front of the king bed?!?! LOL!! Breakfast was OK, but free so it was fine Again, very clean, super attentive staff and I’d stay there again for sure

Craig Layne

I have really struggled with writing this review My experience at this Hampton was not the best I paid around $200/night

The room was clean-ish Nothing terrible, but definitely neglected I had no issues staying here cleanliness wiseI can’t blame the hotel, but the folks staying in the room next to us were noisy Every night of our stay we struggled to sleep with them partying well past 2-3amNow here is why I am rating the hotel so low The staff They were just downright rude From the moment we arrived it was like we were a burden on them Definitely not a welcoming experience and not a place I will be back to I travel a lot and typically prefer Hampton’s, but this place has made me second guess that preference $200/night for a rude staff and unable to sleep? What did I do to myself?

Jennifer White

The room was OK The beds were clean, but they were way too soft We were staying 3 days and my back was hurting by the end

We were left with less than half a roll of toilet paper and a extra roll I’m a former hotel housekeeper and would of thrown that out, I asked the housekeeper that was in the hall for extra and she told me to go to the front desk I would of gone and got what guests asked The pool was tiny, only 4 feet deep, and the water was cloudy We didn’t swim because 4 kids were already in there and it would of been crowded The location of the hotel was nice, lots of restaurants around within walking distance If you happen to stay in room 319, get some kind of clips to keep the curtains closed The lights on the front of the building shine right in your window and bring earplugs, because it’s right across from the elevator

First night checking in the door to my room was swollen and I had to force it open and force it closed, once inside the room I discovered water on the bathroom floor coming from the toilet No problem getting right into another room, at which time I was advised that when it rains the roof leaks, water leaks down from the roof and out the light fixtures into the bathroom and onto the bathroom floor2nd room same swollen door situation had to force it open and same to close it

same for the bathroom door After sleeping there for 2 nights I developed a horrible sinus infection nose and throat so clearly the place has a roof that leaks, therefore there’s a moisture problem which would explain why the doors were so swollen, which then leads me to believe that there is a mold problem within the building which would explain my symptoms3rd and last night no problem switching rooms which appeared to be better than the other roomsThe staff there was great, Emma at the front desk was fantistic as well as housekeeping and those that kept breakfast at a steady paceFor the owner/corporation you should be ashamed about this locationCome down and visit this location look at how dirty the carpet in the hallway of the 3rd floor is as well as the carpet in the rooms, smell the mold, feel the pressure needed to open and close the doors, take a look at the A/C unit in the room and see how dirty they are, consider cleaning and changing the filter from time to timeFix the roof, clean, and touch the place up and maybe the place will smell and look clean and it won’t be a health and safety issue for your guestsI stayed at the HIE in Bay Shore on 2 different occasions and 1 time here, I’m glad to say that I will never spend any time or money at any of the locations in the future

Amy V

The front desk agent emma and ray (I think) we’re absolutely amazing They went above and beyond and ensured my package didn’t melt for when I arrived and the room itself the sheets were dirty but they were able to fix it right away Recommended an amazing Italian restaurant to us our first night and really helped get our vacation started off right

However, the room itself really needs to be updated Everything was functional and okay but the beds were hard spring mattresses, the bathroom door was very loud and beat up, the hotel room door barely opened and was hard to open and close it And the a/c unit on the wall didn’t work (but the unit itself works)Honestly, we looked past all of the room issues because of the rockstar employees this location has at the front desk

We were greeted warmly by Debbie and Lela They were very helpful with answeringour questions and guiding us to local sites Every staff member acknowledged us pleasantly

The hotel has a wonderful workout room and indoor pool/hot tub It was extremely clean throughout and the outside grounds were well manicured and tidy Our room was large and very comfortable We enjoyed the special touch of chocolate scented air fresheners

A great stay and experience; the pool was phenomenal and has an attached Hot Tub! My only complaints were that the Elevators did not feel entirely confident and secure, and that the Fast and the Furious Arcade machines in the arcade were down Guest Services was polite and to the point I plan on coming back during the summer with my girlfriend after enjoying it with my niece and sister!

Celia Rae Stever

We swam in the pool and after my friend asked me if my tattoo was raised and itchy because hers was The next morning I woke up and mine was also raised and itchy Either they had bed bugs or a mystery STD in the pool water, either way, gross

The sides of the pool were also very slimy The rooms were nasty The water in both the shower and the sinks got way too hot and burned me multiple times My friend’s door would not close completely or lock properly Anyone could have broken in with ease The elevators did not at all feel secure and one actually stopped on us in the middle of the ride and one of the workers said that it was pretty common If you plan on staying here, maybe consider another hotel Or bring bed bug spray Whatever floats your boat

Even though the rooms in this hotel are a little dated, they were clean and comfortable We rented the family suite; the layout was spacious and reminiscent of a condo The pool is indoor, which is a plus

There is a restaurant on site Laundry facilities are available, but on our visit, only one machine was working There are lots of conference rooms, so this place would be handy if having a reunion, party or reception Located next to the front desk, is a market store with various sundries and snacks The location ( about 20 minutes) is handy for Heshey Park goers One important note, is the rooms are set to undergo renovations in late 2022

misty bellan

Hotel was very nice and inviting from when you stepped in the door, it was also very clean staff was very friendly Pool was great for the kids and was heated Rooms were nice and clean we had a suite so it was bigger for our family vacation

Close to restaurants and Hershey park and shopping centers Overall a great stay and will book again next time we plan a vacation to Hershey!!

Go visit this hotel and consider their reasonable options Wedding planning has exploded into a ginormous industry that can feel confusing and ridiculous Jessica is the event planner at this location and she was so helpful! We ended up booking elsewhere to keep the location closer to my future in-law’s town, but if you are looking for a ballroom in the Harrisburg area, I’d strongly encourage you to check this place out! Their pricing is also the most reasonable, out of the other hotels in the area

Fantastic new property located at MDT but miraculously immune from aircraft noise Well-appointed rooms and smartly-designed lobby areas provide a business traveller’s mecca Lobby bar with small bites (for fee) is open from 5-9PM and a 24/7 ‘market’ offers snacks, sodas, beer and wine for late-night arrivals

Comfy beds, spacious bathrooms and friendly staff complete the 5 Star experience
