This was a pretty nice place to stay Close to food, has a restaurant on site as well as a bar The courtyard is a nice place to relax and enjoy a meal or a cocktail

Your room may have a good view of the city or the Hwy depending on which side you get Overall it’s in good shape You can tell it’s in need of some updates and a some remodeling but nothing is falling apart and it’s maintained and clean

Nathan Choler

Stayed here one night when we came into town for a Pacers game This hotel is kind of hidden back in an office complex, but not too difficult to find There appeared to be ample parking when we arrived, but when we came back after the game nearly every spot in the main lot was taken

The rooms were large and the bed was super comfortable The pool is nice and was surprisingly warm No hot tub I think the only real complaint we had was people being loud in the court yard in the middle of the building during the night, but that really on effected us because we were on the first floor We would definitely consider staying here again in the future

Alysha Dominique

We had slim pickings and selected this one based on other reviews I’m honestly sure how it has such great reviews The rooms are quite dated

The bartender was beyond rude but only to select people We watched him tell a group that they could not have any food or drinks in the lobby area (He told us that the night before when we tried sitting at a table to eat pizza since the rooms are so small) But the group that came in before them brought in food How is that even fair? Also, the hallways had a very odd smell You have to walk outside through the courtyard to get to your room and normally wouldn’t be bad but it sucks when it’s raining and it just so happened to be raining while we were there We will be traveling to the area a lot in the future but we will definitely never be staying here again

The hotel says it’s downtown but it’s further towards the outskirts Overall it’s not bad You can definitely see where they’ve done renovation and didn’t do the best work on some things but not horrible

Whoever does the cleaning for sure makes sure everything is covered The smell is thick when they clean in certain areas but better clean than not No complaints The bed was very comfortable so that’s another positive

Brickyard race weekend and our stay was perfect We weren’t there for the race but we certainly enjoyed the hotel Was it busy, yes!! Was the service exceptional ? Yes! Everything you expect in a hotel: Great service, clean guest rooms , a huge TV , cold AC, and lots of variety served at the hotels complimentary self serve breakfast

We will returnwe loved it Thank you

Robyn Martinez

Our room was nice, it smiled nice and freshThe breakfast was nothing special Had options to microwave frozen sandwiches and burritos, typical waffles and muffins and juice or coffee

A very big and open lobby The indoor pool was cute and small, no one in there except usSuper close to Downtown with plenty of restaurants to eat atComfortable beds and a nice bathroomI’d definitely stay here again but the only down side is the location The surrounding area looked a little rundown but the hotel entrance is facing away from the street so you feel safe

My family and I are currently staying at this hotel for a baseball tournament Our team has more than 10 rooms and are staying 4 nights My son went to the front desk to ask for a spoon and was told it cost $1

He came back to the room to tell me so I thought he misunderstood When I called the front desk I spoke with a young lady named AL(or that’s what she claimed her name was) she stated that her manager Zach Sams told them that they must charge for everything after breakfast which ends at 10am I was in Awe I’m like we have over 10 rooms for at least 3-4 nights paying $200+ a night and I can’t get a spoon I’ve never heard of such I informed her that I would be contacting their corporate office and posting this information on all the social media outlets

M

Spacious room and was very clean Breakfast each morning was fair considering Covid protocols Must request daily room service, which would have been nice to know at check-in

Overall, great location and good access to keystone mall and restaurants The Sheraton connects to the mall via a temperature controlled cross walk, so that may be a good option to check out if you want direct access to the mall

Honest & Truthful

I typically like Hyatt’s, but we won’t be staying here again The staff was friendly I requested daily cleaning, but no one came

The beds were hard and uncomfortable, you could clearly hear the cars on the highway, so it wasn’t a very quiet room at night and the room was very stuffy Also, several of the outlets in the room didn’t workThe front desk agent said that this hotel will be a Home 2 Suites by Hilton in the near future and they will be making some updates to it

Stayed here Feb 2021 for one night on a quick weekend trip Room was clean The bed was very firm

If you like a firm bed it will be great The pull out couch was very run down but it was doable for my daughter and niece just for one night The bathroom was nice but the hot water and water pressure was non existent Hotel is ok for a quick stay but not longer

Irie Vogue

I never stayed at an extended stay kind of place but the location is central and neat all major highways and other hotels My room was clean and they provided all amenities and guess you wouldn’t believe it waaher and dryer are free

that blew my mindThey have a pool too

Jabari Payne

The stay was terrible! No service was ever available at the front desk and they never had towels in the pool area We booked through priceline and i believe the hotel wanted more money so they charged us a smoking fee We work in law enforcement and have never smoked

We had a member come into the room to put his smoke together and while doing it, we put him out So no smoke ever entered the room When we asked about it we were given no details and we’re told we had no choice The rooms were nice though

I had to go to Indianapolis on business and I was recommended this hotel by a coworkerIt was a very nice hotel and I thoroughly enjoyed my stayI booked my stay Through a third-party which was a mistake on my part but because I will stay in for two weeks the hotel manager upgraded me to an extended stay suite, it was very nice of him considering he did not have to do that! The decor in the hotel was very nice

The artwork was exceptional and very unique! The entire staff was very helpful and friendly throughout my entire two weeks they never had an issue during my stay!

Natalie Reed

It’s really the little things that set a hotel apart The first thing I noticed every time I come here is upon walking in the door a pleasant subtle aroma that is very calming Also from the valet to the front desk to the folks working in every role I’ve encountered, they are all pleasant and helpful

The rooms are modern, sleek, and quite comfortable The shower has a lovely rain head, the bed offers excellent support and there are plenty of electrical outlets for all of today’s necessary gadgets My favorite place to stay in Indianapolis

Martha Ward

I chose to stay at the Alexander because of their charging station in the garage The hotel staff were lovely My only gripe is I asked for another towel, when promised 20 minutes, it arrived an hour and a half later when we were in bed

The lounge treated us with kindness even though we had a 7 and 8 yr old in tow We enjoyed a tasty dessert and popcorn before heading to bed I’d stay there again

My wife and I had a fantastic getaway to Indy for a long weekend The hotel is ideally located near great dining options and lots of fun activities The staff was very friendly and helpful

There is a nice common area next to the lobby with a bar It was perfect for socializing with friends before heading up to the room for the night The rooms are clean, nice, and have a mirror positioned right next to the bed that can be lots of fun if you are staying with your special someone

Victoria Wilkinson

Unless someone else is paying for your room, you require epic views from a high-rise, or you absolutely can’t leave the building where your event is being held, save your money and sleep somewhere elseThere’s nothing special about this hotel beyond the location and the excellent room views Oh, and the post-shower robe they provide is pretty fluffy, if that’s important to you

The gym is spacious, with good views and free water and towels But there’s no pool or hot tub Apparently there hasn’t been one since it went under renovations before the pandemic, but the elevator sign still lists it as being on floor two The breakfast option at the Italian restaurant is a $28/plate buffet The valet is $55 overnight It may be obvious from the name, but this is not a place to go for value

Daniel Cloyd

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a place This website will compare countless booking websites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper than others! You’re welcome :)! This hotel is one of the best in this area

I hosted an event at this hotel today and it was lovely We enjoyed it so much and the staff was so kind They made sure we were accommodated completely

The rooms were great! Super comfy and cleanThe amount of things around was lovely and breakfast was GREAT!THANK YOUUUU!

Paul Parker

As I am not a fan of writing poor reviews, sadly I did need to write this one as a warning to future customers This hotel is significantly unkept Our room was somewhat unclean when we entered

The bathtub had some weird film at the bottom of it The doors and walls looked that like they had been kicked at at some point in time Never properly patched up The pool was ice cold Probably the coldest indoor pool I’ve ever seen But, it probably was a good idea we did not spend a lot of time in the pool because of the light and electrical wire hanging in the pool (That is not a joke, I will attach a picture) However, the hot tub was very nice The only bad part about the hot tub was looking over at the rust covered vents Just seemed a little unhealthy I truly do not write this review to be hateful towards the hotel, as I have had a lot of great experiences at different Sheridan hotels This one just happened to be the worst Hopefully management will take time to update what is needed

Rachel Wayne

I’ve stayed at many hotels during my travels to different cities This was my first time ever staying in a Sheraton If this is how they all are, I am not impressed at all

I drove from Nashville to Chicago for a visit and chose Indianapolis for a midway stay, meaning I stayed here on the way there and back I was initially put in a corner room where it was very hot Engineer came to check AC and commented that “the corner rooms do not cool well – they are all like that” So, I had them bring a fan so that I could sleep without sweating The air vent is in the oddest place and blows toward a corner only No more vents in room; bathroom is really stuffy Flattest pillows I’ve ever slept on anywhere My neck is killing me on the morning after my second time around staying here I was put in a different room this time (not a corner one) yet it was still hot AC turned all the way down to 63 degrees but barely blows anything just like corner room No complimentary breakfast like all the other hotels I’ve ever stayed at FOR THIS HIGH PRICE Pool was closed “for maintenance,” which after reading lots of reviews this morning I’ve discovered that it’s been closed for at least 4-6 weeks already How long does it take exactly for “maintenance?” That appears to be dishonest and an excuse not to have it open So many people look forward to this at expensive (and “nice”) hotels like this one Oh and you gotta pay to park in their garage too – $15 per day It’s insane This place is a money pit but not worth it whatsoever The rooms feel outdated and the HVAV system definitely needs some work I am so disappointed Best thing about my stay here was the salad I ordered via room service my first night Very expensive but that was truly the most positive thing about my experience I can’t believe the lack of amenities for the very expensive price tag Will NEVER stay here at another Sheraton again

Jessica Thompson and Kimberly were great! I highly recommend this Hampton Inn The fresh aroma upon entering was very welcoming The hotel is nicely decorated and very pretty

Upon checking in I was given a bag with two bottle waters and a bag of chips Once I entered my room it was so clean and fresh and the temperature was perfectly set I’m picky when it comes to hotels however I can guarantee my next visit to Indy I’ll be staying at the location One more thing I priced several different hotels and this location had the best price, even over the less well known Hotels Don’t get a horrible night sleep or be unhappy, just chose this Hampton Inn and you will not regret it

Louis Emond

The hotel is fine The pool is still small but allows you to do lengths anyway The water is hot

There is a gym with common equipmentIt is located on a one-way street in an industrial district There are still restaurants nearby but you don’t have to be difficultIn the evening and at night, there are no street lights and also no sidewalks Which makes jogging more difficult

I had a three night stay for work and it was nothing less than a great stay! Felicia at the front desk welcomed me with a great smile (working on her birthday I might add) She was extremely helpful, accommodating, and made sure I had everything needed and taken care of before went up to my room The room was very nice and comfy, my house keeping request was fulfilled quickly and the restaurant/wine bar was a nice added touch

Lori Sherman

The customer service at this Marriott was excellent There was a large teenage sports group staying at the hotel on the night we arrived After traveling for 3 days, we really wanted some peace and quiet

The front desk agent, Jelicia, was able to put us in a first floor room in another wing so we could get a goods night sleep! The first floor room even had sliding glass door so we had easy access to our car and luggage We will definitely be booking this location on our trip back home this summer!

Adrienne Jones

The facility is older, but clean and had nice updates on the rooms The location is very convenient to downtown and medical Staff was great at check-in, but we couldn’t find staff at very early morning checkout

Hilariously, someone has lost an analog watch or clock behind the nightstand or under the bed nearest the bathroom in room 206 It’ll probably take moving furniture to find it (I looked with a flashlight and found nothing), but there’s a faint, not unpleasant, ticking you can hear in that bed

The only reason I gave this beautiful hotel a 4 star rating is because the beds are not very comfortable compared to a lot of hotels I’ve stayed at, and payed less The pillows go completely flat when you lay your head on them They are feather pillows but they are the worst feather pillows I’ve ever slept on

The last think I was say is the bedding is just pretty starchy It’s not at all soft like most hotel beds It was rough Basically, the sleeping experience was not impressive If you value your sleep I would go somewhere else Truly Shower is great, customer service is wonderful, the hotel lounge makes terrific drinks It’s a very nice hotel My husband and I didn’t sleep so well though No big dealjust nice to know before you pay that much to stay somewhere! Take your own pillows at least

Stephanie kliber

I stayed here for a corporate conference and loved every minute of my stay The massive team was there every step of the way to make sure my amenities arrived in my room, the food was delicious, the service was handled with smiles on all faces, etc The new renovations are stunning

I never saw it before they were done but the hotel is gorgeous now! The beds are incredibly comfy and the rooms are beautiful! Thanks for a great stay!

I stayed here on a business trip and was extremely satisfied with the cleanliness and Aesthetics of the room and hotel in general Breakfast food was excellent and I also visited the bar for dinner one night which was also quite good even though the menu is small But what I really noticed was how fast their elevators move! If you want a fast elevator, this is the hotel for you

I was only on the second floor and it took like one second It took longer for the doors to shut, then it took to arrive at my floor

Darrin Schultz

Very clean and updated hotel The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful Michaela that manned the bar in the morning for coffee and expresso drinks was attentive and helpful

She filled my cooler both mornings without complaint The lobby was expansive to gather with other people that were staying at the hotel It was a very good experience for a kids sporting event

Ronnie Thomas

This place is a scam! If I could give this place a zero star I would The front desk people don’t have any emotion and act like you’re bothering them when checking in or out We were going here on a friends and family discount for a wedding party

We were told it would be $99 a night (by two different employees) However, that became untrue pretty quickly We even confirmed this when we checked out with a different employee Instead they charged us $211 a night instead Then told us it would be fixed the next day back to the $99 When we call to get it fixed they say they will call us back and never do We have called 5 times It’s funny they finally called us back after I posted this review, and basically said there is nothing they can do So I’m out and extra $112 per night Don’t book here They will take your money

Staff at this hotel was amazing They were very busy over the weekend and I still had great service From housekeeping to free breakfast and food with alcohol at night to the front desk

Seriously every person smiled and it was amazing Clean and the sofa pull out my son loved and said was actually very comfortable (he is 17 not a little kid) Will definitely be returning when visiting friends in town Management always smiled and acknowledged when they passed by and checking to make sure everything was satisfactory

Stefanie Abderhalden

We had a very nice stay at this hotel for 1 night on our drive back home from vacation The staff were very pleasant and accommodating even though the hotel was quite busy The hotel was very clean and our room was nice with comfy beds

It was also a quiet stay which was a pleasant surprise given how busy it was The pool has an indoor and outdoor part which was nice as well as a hot tub I wish the pool area would’ve been bigger though as there are many guests in the hotel and when we went it was very chaotic as tons of people were there The breakfast had a good selection and it’s nice they offer popcorn in the afternoons as well as hot food and drinks in the evening There is a Red Robin next door but there didn’t appear to be any other restaurants or shopping in walking distance It’s convenient that it’s located right off the interstate

Stephanie Martin

The accommodations were excellent here! Very clean and well maintained hotel The staff was attentive to our needs and all so very polite and diligent Pool area and hot tub were clean and so much fun for the kids! The best part was dinner and breakfast

The food was amazing and the choices were plentiful!! We will be coming back here while in Indy again

Jen at reception was super friendly and helped us get checked in early and to our liking! That was a huge plus! The rooms were clean, smelled good, and I loved the 2 doors separating your bed to the outside/hallway, where it got a little loud on a Saturday nightBreakfast was great too

my family and I especially loved the omelet (to order)!! We got veggies on ours, which was delicious!! Wish they would have had fresh chopped fruit for the guests thoughmaybe one day 🙂

We stayed here during an Archery tournament and it as a pleasant experience The hotel was full but you couldn’t tell All the staff was friendly

The breakfast was fully stocked and replenished in a timely manner Yes the hotel is a little dated The rooms could use a little TLC fixing paint chips, grouting and such Still a great experience and we will return

The hotel is set up different than most It is a huge, open air style hotel with all rooms facing the courtyard Courtyard is very nice, breakfast and drinks later were great

Staff was very nice The hotel rooms were nice but definitely needed some deep cleaning All of the carpet in the hotel looked dirty and was sticky The ventilation system must all be linked because you could smell marijuana in and around the rooms I’ve stayed in many Embassy suites and this is my least favorite due to the cleanliness and slightly outdated rooms Altogether, the experience was just ok

Hotel was great!Added bonus was the hotel bartender (Mark) he was exceptional, and outstanding conversationalistAnd he definitely made the best chocolate martini’s & old fashion’s

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel It was in a great central area close to everything The people were wonderful and it was very clean

If there are any problems at all, they are Jonny on the spot, and the beds were soooo comfy!! The only downside is no continental breakfast They do have a wonderful breakfast buffet but it is a bit pricey 1795 is a bit much to feed a family on a budget There is parking across the street and attached to the hotel which is from $30 to $40 a night A little pricey too and hotel parking is public also It’s not just for guests

This is a great location Love the historic building and the easy access to downtown Everything seems very up to date in the room I was in besides the bed

While it does have a pillow top, it also has a dip in the center, which I dropped straight into I slept terribly, waking up roughly every hour to try and get more comfortable I also didn’t appreciate how warm the room got on a 70 degree day The system was set to cool and 68, but it didn’t seem to help as the room got up to 78, despite the curtains being closed Otherwise it’s been a lovely stay

Location is great for walking just about anywhere It’s really close to that beautiful monument I had a short stay but I’m not complaining that it was short

The bathrooms definitely need some updates – at least the room I stayed in The rest of the room was okay but a bit dark, not enough lighting at all I wouldn’t stay here on a long-term basis

Exquisite, sleek, modern, top-notch, premium hotel in the center of Indianapolis! I’ve now visited this hotel twice and experienced excellent service and enjoyable stays The hotel is a beautiful, atrium high-rise hotel Although I’m not sure of the hotels age, it appears to be fairly new

The hotel lobby and adjacent common areas, as well as my guestrooms are immaculate! My guestroom was average in size and included two comfortable double beds, mini refrigerator and modern furnishings The bath was slightly larger than average with a upgraded vanity and amenities Although I didn’t need a room safe nor microwave, my guestroom did not include these amenities The hotel is literally located in the city center, surrounded by countless shopping, restaurant and entertainment possibilities My brief interaction with staff associates was always very pleasant You simply can’t go wrong with the Hyatt brand! I’ve never had any negative issues nor experiences with Hyatt This fabulous hotel and its numerous amenities certainly upholds the quality, pleasant, comfortable experience I expect and eagerly anticipate from the Hyatt Brand The Hyatt Regency Indianapolis receives my highest recommendation!! Thanks to the polite, professional staff associates for a pleasant, peaceful visit!

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your place This website will compare countless booking web sites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the highest rated in this area

I have been staying here for a long time If you decide to stay here you for sure won’t be let downThis is a great hotel within the brand The staff are really friendly and the restaurant options are great I highly recommend checking out the Eagles Nest restaurant on the top floor of the hotel The restaurant rotates and provides one of the best views in the city Parking was a bit overpriced, but if that’s my only complaint, you know it’s a great hotel

Jonathan Bass

Great hotel, great staff from valet’s to front desk to restaurants I did not see housekeeping, but rooms were clean and in good conditionThe Regency Lounge is still closed, but I understand it’s not the right time yet with shortened staff, reduced travelers, and food out in the open isn’t the best

However, it would be nice if they were still accessible You need a key card to get in, and if there’s reduced travelers why not allow them to use as a hang out lounge and just have a mini fridge with bottled water / soda?Tip: Check out Eagle’s Nest! Sadly the room service options for dinner are quite bad I feel I’d have been very happy with the food if I knew of Eagle’s Nest, but I did not until the next morning Dinner room service I’d want to say tasted like microwaved food, but the funny thing is I drove here and actually had to have a microwaved gas station overnight breakfast on the way and that tasted better Breakfast down at the room service restaurant also wasn’t good on Thursday, but it’s not the staff’s fault, so the location still gets 5 stars Friday morning a lady returned her pancakes saying they were too fluffy or something I believe the chief’s name is Martin, as I heard him being told about the issue I’d like to compliment him on my Eggs Benedict It was perfect and I’m guessing he couldn’t have been the same cook from Thursday as it was much better!

Our visit was amazing! Troy greeted us at the front desk with a smile and was so nice! He gave us a room with a spectacular view of downtown The room was spacious and clean All of the staff were nice and polite

The hotel’s location is perfect for walking around the downtown area We are looking forward to the next time we visit Indy and will definitely be staying here again

Nelly Andrews

Stayed here for 4 nights with family Excellent hotel! Very nice to have the complimentary hot breakfast and complimentary evening reception But, don’t expect much in terms of drinks and snacks at night – just basic items

It’s a complimentary reception though so nothing to complain about Our suite was clean and very spacious The sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable but not many sofa beds will be The staff was great Other reviews mentioned a small pool, but it’s really not that bad and the water is quite warm For a downtown hotel, the pool is perfect Other reviews mention no housekeeping but it says this on their website and they make you aware at checkin also – if you need something, just ask and they are quick to bring it to your room This location is AWESOME! So easy to walk to many restaurants, bars, and attractions The parking garage has some tight turns so don’t bring a large vehicle in to park if you can help it Other reviews were surprised by the parking charge but it’s clearly listed on their website and it’s in the middle of downtown so it really shouldn’t be a surprise that there’s a cost to park I would definitely stay here again

Summer D

Place was clean and bed was comfortable! Great location walking distance to most all the good restaurants and mall The only issue was A/C wasn’t keeping room cool at all We only stayed one night

We let staff know and they assured us it would be taken care of asap We weren’t there ok g we ought to know if they actually did but overall a nice hotel!

It’s a beautiful, clean room with a beautiful view Be careful reserving rooms through 3rd parties like Expedia They gave me the impression through images that I would reserve a room with a balcony

Despite not getting the room that I wanted, I still enjoyed the room that they gave me with the lake view The ice machines are on every other floor, and they do not have microwaves in the room The staff and other guest were friendly and I would love to come again

Julie Daniels

The room was great! Very clean The hotel is beautiful! The people who checked us in were marginally interested in us; the gentleman who checked us out was kind and engaging I wish we were back to actual menus for room service (or at least an easy way to find it) as I probably would have gotten something

I also don’t think they communicated that they are still covid cleaning (not cleaning) Two of the three elevators were not working the morning we checked out, so it was a bear trying to get out of the 5th floor But we made it out with a bit of ingenuity All in all, the hotel added to my weekend experience rather than taking away from it, so I call that a win!

William Newman

Staff was knowledgeable and friendly Parking was a nightmare The lot is huge and has plenty of space, but there was an event at the hotel so you had to park on the back 40 to find a spot

Lots of kids Had I known it would be packed with kids and what appeared to be a large wedding, I may have chose to stay elsewhere Overall, a good experience, but would’ve loved something a bit more quiet
