We have truly enjoyed this stay because the manager Nikki is very helpful and professional, communicates clearly & completely, has a very happy personality that conveys how much she enjoys her job This park is quiet and clean The laundry is sparkling and has plenty of machines

Any problems in the park get addressed quickly & thoroughly It is located close to shopping, fuel & restaurants Overall, we will definitely stay here again when in the area

Kylie Ochoa

We’ve been living here for the past couple of months & honestly, it’s awesome It’s clean, quiet, incredibly well maintained (especially the pool – I’ve never seen such care taken with a pool in my entire life!) And the manager, Miss Nikki is beyond fabulous!! I cannot fully articulate just how amazing she is! She’s kind, funny, genuine, caring & my kids just adore her They’re always raving about the latest awesome thing she’s just done

It’s super cute!If you need a safe RV park where you feel like you’re at home, this is the place to stay at We’re going to miss you, Miss Nikki, when we leave next week but we’ll definitely stay here whenever we’re here visiting family I can only give 5 stars here but Miss Nikki & this park deserve 1000 gold stars! Thanks for providing a wonderful environment <3 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

It’s not worth the price The first reason I took a star away is the customer service Friends and I decided to stay here for a girls trip and anyone always wants the best price for the room you are going to pay for

After hunting the web, we saw on their website they will price match any website This was a hassle with their staff over the phone and even the manager If the system is too hard for you to do then don’t advertise it on the website Ended up booking through a third party because they were unable to offer what their website advertised The reason I took the second star was for a few small things all together The pool water was murky The only reason we wanted to stay here was for the pool I’ve stayed at resorts before and never had a murky pool They still charge you for the pool even though you are staying there I get that they want certain patrons to stay and be at their hotel The other two reasons were the broken items in the bathroom (plastic boxes they use to hold items) and hard pillows The hotel is pretty outdated in looks and it shows its age, wear, and tear everywhere The only reason I kept stars was for their restaurant (Grotto), pool service, and drinks

Stayed here last Thursday (6/9/22) because i had business in Galveston for the day and for the price it was a complete joke Unfortunately there isn’t a lot of choices on the islandFirst the good:Checking in was fine and the front desk staff was nice and pleasant

Then we get to the room which was decent, and the view was beautiful However, there is no fans in the room and not a single light fixture besides the sconce by the door and somelamps I guess there is a enough natural light, but these are the same rooms they have had there for 10+ yearsNow we get to the bad:We decided to go to the pool to relax before dinner We go to the bar and the staff basically ignored us for probably 20 minutes, and they were not busy at all After I figured out I was not going to get service without actively getting the attention of the bar tenders, we finally get a couple of drinks that took another 10-15 minutes to get This would be a theme for the whole stay The waitresses that can around to the lounges where a lot more attentive though, and I can’t fault them We then go to the swim up side of the bar and again we’re ignored for by the bartenders who seemed to be chatting amongst themselves The drinks were ridiculously expensive and cheaply made for this kind of serviceThen I go to dinner at “The Steakhouse” and the problems persisted Sat at the bar and didn’t get asked if we needed drinks or menus for about ten minutes Ordered an appetizer, which took forever, and when I asked the bartender to check on it, it came right away This exact thing happened with every dish we ordered Ordered it waiting 15-20 minutes, inquired about it, and suddenly it appeared The food was good, but this service problem was ridiculous and seemed to be a real issue in every aspect of the San Luis I ordered my last drink, and the bartender completely forgot to get it for me (but he did cover this one) which would have been a none issue had this not been the whole theme of my stay Finally, like a cherry on top, I had to ask for a to go box two timesThe chocolate pie was flat out amazing though and may be the best I have ever hadAll in all $550 for a night was unbelievable for the service received Will probably be trying another place for my next stay Have had better service at Chillies

Matt Czimer

You can tell that the hotel itself is a little older but it is very well kept and maintained Spacious rooms with lots of nice touches that elevate the overall experience The breakfast buffet (which was included with the stay) was nothing short of impressive

The beach is literally right across the street but if you prefer to simply hangout by the pool, the ambiance is also extremely pleasant with the cabanas, full service wait staff and sometimes free treats such as smores All of the staff had a smile on the face and went out of the way to say hello and greet the guests as they would pass Overall a rather enjoyable stay!

TLDR: Rooms felt outdated, musty, and grimy Only stayed 2 nights, departed earlyI don’t generally write reviews critiquing everything, but this hotel was largely disappointing

I was there for 2 nights and departed earlyThe lobby was welcoming and all the staff were very personable The hotel offers valet, but I never had any trouble parking my car myself in the lot behind the hotelUpon entering my room, the decor was very outdated and had an overall musty smell The room (balcony with gulf view) had a decent view, but the room, bathroom, and balcony were pretty small Realistically only 1 person at a time can fit on the balcony It’s pretty iffyThe bed itself was an old spring mattress and is in need of updating The bed and pillows had a musty, mildew smell that was off putting Despite signs EVERYWHERE saying everything is disinfected, I found multiple areas that weren’t cleaned For example: the remote, door handles, the curtain, crumbs behind TV, dust around the mini fridge I bring disinfectant wipes for high-touch areas for this reasonMoving on to the bathroom – it’s small The floor floods every time you turn on the shower because there’s no shower liner I opted to just put towels all over the floor There is a “pull-bar” but the shower is SO slippery, it needs texture to prevent falls To add on to the bathroom, there was no vent so any steam wasn’t being vented out properly I also had to request hand soap, there was none when I walked into the roomThe hotel itself is very conveniently located There’s plenty of restaurants in the area, and it’s a 2 minute walk from the beach The pool is pretty awesome too when it’s not packed Swim up bar is availableOverall, for ~$300 a night, I’d expect more from the hotel Better bedding would be a start In the current state, I’d rather stay in other luxury hotels in the vicinity

Super-friendly staff with terrific service and great suggestions for what to do, see and where to eat, in particular Joshua Great help!Parking is pretty easy and priced well at $12 a nightNicely priced all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet @ $17 per person

We caught the tail-end of the first shift of food, so it was warm to cold Our second plates were spot-on with the scrambled eggs and French Toast leading the flavor raceWalked right across the street to the beach Hotel is also walking distance to a full-service Kroger with a Starbucks inside, and walking distance to a terrific steakhouse (The Steakhouse) at the San Luis ResortAdditionally, walked to and enjoyed the $695 ride at The Rain Forest CafeHotel has a clean pool with a swim-up bar and great bartender (Ashley) Drinks were delicious, well-balanced and fairly priced Fun crowd as well Decent amount of seating to tan, read and relaxWhile the rooms could use some touch-up paint and upgrading, overall a good and pleasant experience Would return to this hotel

Brittany Lack

My husband, 2 year old, 7 month old, and I stayed 4 nights on a short summer get away We arrived around 10:00pm on a Tuesday night and when we went to check in, we were told that they had overbooked our room so we were put in a different (older and bad view) room than what we had reserved and they would switch us the next day We were unhappy because we purposely asked for a King bed because my kids sleep with us and will not sleep without us

So my husband and I each took a child and slept in separate beds Then time came to switch rooms With the kids it was a huge hassle because anyone knows with kids (especially babies) they require a lot of stuff The hotel comped breakfast one morning and valet parking for us and also gave us one extra night at the same rate even though the rate was way more The King bed room was much nicer than the first night and the view was amazing My daughter loved looking out the window at the ocean The beds were also very comfortable The hotel definitely did make up for the mishap and the staff were all very nice Michael, the head valet, was absolutely amazing and helped us move all our bags He shared with us about his family and kept apologizing that we had to switch with the kids Every time he saw us at the hotel he always asked how we were doing and told us to let him know if we needed anything I honestly can’t say enough nice words about him and you can tell he was so sincere

It was a nice stay The employees were very friendly and explained everything we needed to know Room was very clean and I liked that you can’t hear the noise from the rooms next to you

My kids were making some noise and you couldn’t hear it from the outside We had full size fridge and that helped a lot! The coffee was great but it only makes 2 cups , so if you plan on staying longer please bring more coffee lol Other than that everything was great

Greg Weaver

The room was supposed to be a queen If it was it was very small Other than that it was ok

The front desk person Denny was very rude We showed up a little early and she actually said that she was to busy the night before and sitting there playing on her phone Never seen anyone so rude to there customer If I could have found another hotel I would have Never had such a horrible experience with candlewood Very disappointing

After a rough start to our trip and trying out 2 places that were less than desirable, Canyon at the front desk was sympathetic and extremely accommodating for us She helped us find the perfect room for our stay The room was clean, HUGE, and the bathrooms were well kept

Beds were comfortable and seemed to be updated as well We were there for my daughters dance competition and Canyon made her feel so special every time we came and went from the hotel Breakfast management was on top of their game keeping tables clean and the buffet in order Next trip to Galveston we will absolutely stay here again! Can’t say enough good things about their staff Good customer service is hard to find these days 5 stars!

Sandra Peterson

This is a nice hotel, I prefer to stay here while in Galveston All rooms are Ocean view If there is a situation with accommodations the error is quickly modified

We were welcomed to take our bikes into the room and that was a plus The concierge name is Edward and He is a wonderful person Breakfast is very good and plentiful Overall a good place to stay

Jacob Brewer

Great hotel Right across the street from the beach All rooms have an ocean view! Great for families

It if west of all the busy “bar/night life/restaurants/entertainment” So its a bit more quiet and the beach is not so crowded Friendly staff Clean property (well as clean as a beach hotel gets, Sand gets everywhere)Definitely coming back!

Overall great experience and great customer service On the side of resorts some of the little things did get me

the television in the room had poor volume and there were very limited channels maybe 16 total There were no options to connect to Netflix or other streaming options Though the point is usually to be out in the boardwalk when staying here the little things like this when your trying to unwind has an effect on the overall experience of the stay This does not detract from the overall experience but as it applies to the Inn specifically this is something I would like to seem them upgrade on The front desk was very helpful and prompt with responses I would like to have seen them have a continental breakfast included with the cost but unfortunately there is not at this time If having the breakfast is not possible then maybe some dining dollars for the next door grille would be appealing Will be comparing other Landry resorts in the future to see any contrasts Again, overall, pleasant experience and would recommend for families to experience

Martin C

The location is great You are literally right on the boardwalk and close to the restaurants and attractions The live music and the train ride could be an issue if you are sensitive to that but we enjoyed it

We paid more to stay here than other places in the area in hopes of getting a top notch room also Our room could have used more attention to detail The shutter blinds on the balcony door and windows were broken and in need of repair as well as the weather stripping on the bottom of the door The ottoman had a large RIP in it The tub in the bathroom had old stains and should be re-caulked The woodwork in the bathroom could use a fresh coat of paint as there were several chips in the paint Also , the pool liner needs some major attention Several areas are showing serious signs of wear and tear If it sounds like I am being picky yes Premium price should get you premium quality Management should really give the place a serious quality control once over if they expect repeat business

Crystal Mouton

This is a nice hotel Very clean and decorated beautifully The only downside I could find was the water pressure for showers was horrible

And the outside noises from the train and music lasts pretty late in the night if you have little ones trying to sleep However, I loved being so close to the boardwalk and being able to just go to our room if we were tired

So far what I liked about the room is that it was really big the restroom was clean I like the fact that you had the shelf set up with all the towels The sink by the restroom had a coffee maker I thought that was really nice Also in the closet there was a blow dryer a iron and the iron table to iron clothes some hangers and the little luggage holder very impressive

Now my concern that I didn’t like was that there was a door in the middle of the room had a childproof plastic knob holder on the door which I don’t know what that was used for kind of suspicious The AC didn’t work it was hot in the room it never cooled down and the shower the cold water didn’t work so you had no cold water I like the fact that you had a table in the middle that was really cute and everything else was fine

Trish Wishy

This place was perfect for the price! I always check reviews thoroughly before I book anywhere, and I have no complaints! We had friendly service, clean rooms, comfy beds, the A/C worked properly, and the floors were nice to walk on and seemed new Last but not least, I was thrilled to find out they serve breakfast unlike so many other hotels nowadays “due to Covid” and they have Texas-Shaped waffles, which I love!!

Jax O’Riley

Recently stayed here a few times & it was absolutely awful, horrible rude service No actual manager or supervisors on property Cleaners and front desk staff are the worst

No one to talk to about actual issues & don’t expect the owner or any manager to contact guests about any concerns Better to spend $25-$50 more a night for a nicer higher quality hotel than this run down horrible hotel Constant police activity, low lives and crackheads at this location It’s very loud, only time its quiet is if no other guest is staying on the same floor or building Disgusting swampy smell overall in most rooms Water is never consistent Pressure low then high Cold barely any hot water Workers always lurking around invading your privacy opening doors without permission etc other people We spoke to also had similar experiences yet there is no one here that cares about the guests They don’t have actual breakfast or any nice pool like they show in the photos The guest laundromat is out of order This place is false advertising They need to update the photos and details online Do not stay here better to go elsewhere- save yourself money & a headache One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at in south Texas Others have experienced infestation of roaches & staff trying to charge guests for towels etc This place needs to be put on reset It needs New owners, new staff, new upgraded rooms or just needs to be shut down that’s how bad it is especially if you stay longer than one daygood luck! I’ll never stay here again

Althea the front desk receptionist is amazing! She has a bubbly personality and a positive attitude! She was so welcoming and kind! She goes the extra mile to accommodate all her guests The property was gorgeous! Great pool, polite staff & an awesome bar with a friendly bartender in the lobby! Loved this place and will most definitely be back! 10/10 one of the BEST & cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at!

Roseanna Martinez

The staff here is very friendly and helpful The pool is awesome I love that it has lots of space to sit in the pool and lounge with a drink and that it’s kid friendly as well

The bar food is good, drinks are good Rooms with balcony are great! We faced the pool and could still see the ocean a little, but could also hear the band if we went on the patio I’d definitely stay here again

Callie Dykes

Everything from check in to check out was great! We stayed from 8/5-8/7 on a quick impromptu little family vacation Althea at check in was fantastic! I didn’t get the name of one of the gentleman but he gave our toddler a little goody bag Will definitely stay here again and will highly recommend! We didn’t use the pool but from what I could tell it would be great! And they also have a Starbucks in the lobby, so that was a plus! 🙂

Overall this was one of the best places we’ve stayed!

I reserved and paid for a room online for a colleague I got a confirmation and it showed on my credit card statement When my colleague arrived, the hotel claimed they needed to “run” my card and that it was denied

So my colleague called me and I talked with the hotel employee on the phone I explained that it was probably denied because the charge was already run and it was approved and on my credit card But she was adamant that it was not paid for I gave her the confirmation number and everything but she wouldn’t let him and his family have the room until it was paid for (again) So they charged his credit card for the room I told the lady that I needed her to cancel my transaction then and she said she can’t because there is no transaction (even though my credit card showed there was as well as the confirmation email) So I said I wanted to speak with the manager and she said she’d have to take my name and number and have the manager call me Now 5 days later the charge is still on my credit card and the manager has never called me (even after my leaving several messages on her voicemail)This hotel is just messed up Don’t book anything online, as you run the risk of paying for it twice and then they won’t refund you What a pain this has been I don’t know how long I’ll have to fight them on this I will probably end up having to dispute it through my credit card company

7/24/22We stayed 5 nights where a room with a king bed was booked about 1 month out A week prior I added one night to our stay Upon checking in we were assigned a double queen room

Nobody said anything about the room type change until we entered the room to find wore out beds that had bad creaks when getting in or rolling over in bedThe desk clerk said they did not have a king room for us per the reservation, the hotel was bookedWe stayed 5 nights and the room was serviced 1x On day 4 we requested and were assured that that housekeeping would come and they never didThe corridor on the first and second floors need to be vacuumed By the time we checked out the place was looking like a frat house The carpet was fraying in the stairwell on our endI’ve stayed here before and had a much better experience I do not recommend this hotel

B S

The conference room is a good rectangle size Breakfast, lunch, and dinner can be arranged by the hotel The club sandwiches weren’t that great

Tacos were better Pasta/lasagna didn’t taste freshly cookedConference room temperature was too cold

You know, if it was not for the customer service I would had this a 1The place is ruin down and is not that wonderful I had 5 rooms and on one of them the door would not work when my team got back at 1 am

So they put them in another room till 6 amThe graveyard shift lady was a jerk and has poor communicationBut the manager took my phone call at 2 am and then took care of everything!! The other lady that was amazing was Trinity!! She works the swing shift 100% she made up for the lack of the place being updated Again, needs a lot of work but the staff cares and you can tell it starts with the management!!

I would not recommend this place to anyone!! It is not clean! Our bathroom was so nasty!! Mirror had toothpaste all over it , shower had hair in it and just nasty, floors dirty in corners, coffee pot had crumbs all in the tray!! Elevators need to be swept! Rugs need to be vacuumed! Someone needs to learn how to clean!!I complained to front desk about the bathroom and told them to clean it!! Come back and it still was NOT cleaned!!I have NEVER been to another holiday inn that was this dirty!!

This place is beautiful and a great price I was super impressed with the rooms, extremely clean and very nice They had nice sitting area with couch, fridge, microwave, and separate “room-area” with pillowy soft beds and superb sheets

The staff were all over the top helpful, friendly, and always had a smile Breakfast options were plentiful and delicious The only downfall was the indoor pool was the size of a postage stamp Once all 4 of the kids hopped it there was room for no one else But all in all I would highly recommend this hotel, and we will be back

Diana Guadalupe

I used to love this place but after my stay I’m very disappointed I asked for housekeeping services which was not done to a point the trash started to smell I had to call front desk and ask for someone to please come take the trash out

The Tv would barley work and would even stop working at times Their customers service is not as good as it used to I’m not sure if it’s a different management but it has definitely gone downhill I was told they would call me when my room was ready since I arrived early which I understand Check-In is at 3 which I waited for the call but never got it I decided to go in since it was past 3 and another lady was at the front desk She then proceeded to say my room was ready but I never got a call and was waiting outside For the price you would think the service would be great I’ll just stay at a different location next time

Such a disappointment I love the Springhill Suites brand but this particular location let me down Way down

The hotel seems old The first thing I noticed was the candy bar wrappers stuffed behind the couch cushions So I think that the cleaning leaves something to be desired Probably don’t clean high tough areas like they say… There was mold in the bathroom above the shower The TV guide did not work The room lighting is terrible Seems like you’re in a dungeon I booked this last minute and had I done more research, I may have chosen a different hotel The hotel is right next to a very busy highway and the cars and sirens make it hard to sleep at night Breakfast food ran out before closing time Twice The wash machine was broken for a time The elevator was out of order for a while Glad I can do stairs The price for the value was way out of proportion I’m currently at another Springhill Suites location and this hotel is on par to what I’m used to And it’s half the price I realize that hotels Jack up the prices during spring break but I feel like we were ripped off I would not recommend this location to anyone So disappointed

Great location and view was great as well Room was clean and neat Customer service and the staff were awesome

Their breakfast was really good too! I do have one suggestion though… that is to make sure the curtains and drapes in rooms are wiped down or dusted because ours had so much dirt and dust on them Other than that we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!!

K m

I highly recommend but suggest you book online for a better price After an awful experience at the beachcomber we came to the quality Inn so a clean, beautifully furnished double queen room on the first floor The ladies at the front desk were quick and kind and the Cleaners were even more so

We loved leaving breakfast in the morning and the balcony our room came with Plenty of drawer and closet space for clothes A mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, safe and a great sized TV There is also desk space if you need to get any work done

Joe Rieke

We were very pleasantly surprised with this hotel They were booked full for the night of our stay and they still got us a nice room on the 4th floor on early check-in The rooms are spacious with nicely updated furniture and amenities

The add said “partial ocean view”, but with a private patio, the view was anything but partial The hot breakfast is fresh, delicious, and has broad selection The price is very fair all things considered

The front staff is so sweet! Loved the music in the lobby totally took me back with spice Girls and Ashanti! Our room was extremely clean and loved having 2 tvs in our room It was nice after a long day to relax and watch something we wanted and kiddo could relax and watch a little something he liked before bedThe breakfast was good

I enjoyed the sausage, egg and cheese bagel My kiddo had cereal and yogurt Husband had sausage, egg and cheese biscuitThey have towels by the pool which is great!!!Location is really nice Very close to everything! About a 12 minute drive to NASAThe beds are pretty firm, if that’s your likingWe will stay again next time we’re in the area

Chimeka Kindred

EXTREMELY CLEAN AND FRIENDLY STAFF! This hotel was saved me and my family from a bad experience It was very clean, the staff were very nice and accommodating The beds were comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was awesome, the temperature was amazing

I love that I was able to add my Netflix account while there Wonderful hotel!

Colleen Williams

First off let me say the location was great! It felt very safe and secure On the other hand do not stay if you think you will enjoy the breakfast it was HORRIBLE! Pearl sugar waffles please Marriott learn your guests To the room we had 2 queen beds one bed is so close to the heater/air one stubs your toe getting in and out of bed

Very poor planning When trying to have guests reuse towels you need hooks or something to hang your towel on to dry When turning the tv on and off it makes a very loud intentional noise Bathroom light comes on automatically but you have to turn it off So many lamps in the room maybe instead install a ceiling fan It would be nice to have more than one chair in the roomif you enjoy a very firm mattress you will enjoy this place

I really don’t have much of a complaint about anything with this hotel The front desk staff were pretty nice and open to helping you The pools are heated and the stay was amazing

Editing the thermostats weren’t really easy to do but that wasn’t a huge problem We had breakfast in the cafe and the staff were really sweet and helpfulThe attractions are really fun to look at and would be amazing for a younger child We watched all the different movies and walked through the different attractionsI definitely will come back sometime Lots of fun things that you can try

While we had 2 staff members that required us to seek assistance from others our overall experience was 5 Star The standard room was spacious The view was breathtaking

My husband and I both commented on his comfortable the bed and pillows were Housekeeping was helpful with us trading out our used towels for new ones instead of requiring us to have the entire room cleanedWe enjoyed the hot tub and pool but wished they opened at 8 AM instead of 9 AMIt would be nice if larger robes were available for larger guests Thankfully, I had brought my own

Tarana Patel

The hotel is a bit old and not updated The rooms were clean but dated However the staff is super friendly and we enjoyed our stay

We had a family package with a junior suite the room was spacious and functional for our family We had a view of the pyramids and the pool Blossoms makes pizzas from scratch and has bluebell ice cream, I would recommend this place to eat The staff is this restaurant was not the best but food was still good Overall good trip, not sure we will be back, kids had a good time

Galveston is a cool beach town Great beach, lots of restaurants, things to see and do Reasonably priced also

As far as the condo goes, this is a weird review My unit was well kept and maintained, but it was advertised as being able to sleep six While it’s true six people could sleep there, six could not reasonably stay there, with their luggage I had 5, and it was extremely cramped and not what one should expect on vacation It should be fine for a couple, and perhaps a family with one childAlso I’m very noteworthy, our condo was on level one and was in the 160s range There was a very bad smell in the hallway coming in It’s a very musty smell that’s noticeable immediately It never got better during are several days dayFor these reasons while I could hardly endorse Galveston, I would suggest any family staying in Galveston find other accommodations I will say though that this condo is nicely located right on the beach, or I should say across the street from the beach and with easy access Also the pool in the condo is superior

Heather Cook

This is a very cool condo as close to the beach/seawall as you can get, it is directly across the street It’s huge with lots of rooms, laundry and vending on each floor, elevators, 2 pools (one has a waterfall, the other a hot tub) There is police and pool security o site and plenty of parking

Closetp everything and fully accessible Room 128 sleep 6 comfortably with beach views from the balcony

Brittany Bennett

Love love love! ❤️ Casa Del Mar is nice and quiet! Clean and staff is I mean ok I did have one little miss understanding with the front desk lady on arrival She had said I didn’t pay for the week in advance and even tried to show her my booking

com recipe and she didn’t want to hear it or see it She said she couldn’t take that Her boss ended up letting me pass through because I did pay for and had prof of my recipe Other then that everything has been nice! The rooms are clean the beds are comfortable! The beach and lots of other stores are with in walking distance! We will be back that’s for sure

Great location and will be even better after highway construction is finishedNice room, but my ac didn’t blow very well at all and water temp in shower was terribly hard to controlIf you like to get out and away from the treadmill, there is plenty of area to walk and enjoy the area

4 stars only for the ac and shower issue, but would certainly stay, if in the area again

QueenB Thatsme

Perfect location Extremely compassionate and friendly hostess If memory serves me, her manne was ms Gina

She was very very nice! The room was clean and super comfortable I had less than 3hrs before I was due to be at the hospital, the bed I slept in offered such comfort that I woke up feeling like I’d slept a full 8 hrs! My new go to hotel

We didn’t actually rent a room here, but we did crash with some friends It was a very nice establishment However, the reason for my review was to make management aware of a safety concern of mine

Our friend has a big truck and we tried to park in the garage It was late at night so we didn’t see any signs visible enough to state the clearance height Yes, it was right above the entrance stating 5’10″which is a very low clearance standard for parking garages is approx 98in, just over 8ft If I may suggest, The teal color you have for the clearance sign above the entrance should be in yellow and black font stating the caution low clearance It will stand out, plus its a universal caution identifier ⚠️ In addition, the yellow clearance bar should be placed on the outside of the entrance just at the beginning of the driveway It makes absolutely no sense for one to be inside the garage after one has already passed a 5’10” clearance and is now able to drive through a 6″ clearance throughout the garage In the nicest way possibleHere’s your sign! 🤦‍♀️

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your resort They compare countless hotel sites and typically will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This hotel is one of the highest rated in this area

I’ve been staying here for a very long time If you decide to stay here you won’t be disappointedI had an emergency- we had to book a hotel last minute for some friends that were getting married that day Marcela, I believe her name is, at the front desk helped us get everything set up She helped us figure out how to check my friends in so they wouldn’t have to worry about an additional thing to do on their wedding day My friends had a wonderful stay 100% would recommend!

My executive room didn’t feel very executive+ Comfortable bed+ Decent view+ Clean room+ Nice staff- Dated interior- Small bathroom and shower- No couch, tiny desk- Calcified shower head and low water pressure- A/C barely worked in room (set on 68, lowest it would go is 74)- A/C out in hallways and elevatorsI would stay again but not for what I paid This is definitely not a resort, just a hotel

Depending on the price, go elsewhere

Staff extremely helpful, room very comfortable, very close to many restaurants and shopping, hallways could use a little help but very clean and kept up Pantry fully stocked and reasonably priced for the guests Will definitely be staying here again any time I’m in the area

It’s a little further out but the location makes up for the extra 10 minutes of drive time to downtown Thank you so much for making my stay in the Houston area much more comfortable and enjoyable

Ashley Holden

There’s pros and cons to every place Pros – price was nice Rooms were huge

Shower was amazing Bed was comfortable and plush Plenty of linens and a fully stocked kitchen Very nice Cons – the lady at the front desk was less than friendly Our room steadily got colder despite turning it off The heat didn’t work I called downstairs to ask for blankets for my children and the lady literally hung up on me after saying “it’s frozen so unplug it 30 minutes and try again We have no blankets just sheets Deal with it” I couldn’t get a word in Things happen so I get it, but come on I don’t know who peed in her Cheerios but that was very unprofessional I tried thawing it out for nearly an hour to no avail Overall it’s a solid place to stay and I’d stay again for sure, just maybe not the same ice box as last time, lol

J. D.

This hotel is in desperate need of some renovations and a DEEP cleaning The mildewed room that we were “downgraded” to was NOT enjoyable It was late when we arrived and the king bed reservation that we made was not available

What’s the point of a reservation?? We were credited 20 dollars off our stay for a room that had previously been flooded The mildew smell was terrible Many other areas around the hotel were noticed that were in need of repair There are too many choices available Skip this one

I highly recommend staying here for a family vacation We are still here the rest of the week The location on the ocean front makes it safe for kids to avoid crossing the traffic ways

Along with having a pool and hot tub it is so relaxingThe service is amazing! A quick phone call to the front desk allows towel replacement and maintenance as needed The facility is well kept, but we had a problem with the valve in the fill tank of one of the stools Maintenance came up shortly after my request and readjusted to valve so it has worked perfectly every since He even arrived prepared to replace the valve if necessary and had a new one in his possessionAll trash accumulated can be placed in the hall adjacent to the door accesses The debris is removed throughout the day by the staff no matter how much is accumulated I couldn’t be happier with any of the service staffThe only negative I have is a lack of ice machines With the number of guests staying here 3 to 4 ice machines could be utilized, but there is only one Quite often there is no ice available so guest have to leave to purchase bagged ice, as we have several timesWith all the positives we have encountered here there is no doubt that the Holiday Inn Club Vacation Sea Side Galveston, TX earns a five star 🌟 rating!

Graciela Ledesma

We’ve been vacationing in Galveston for the past 20 years This was our first stay at this resort It was a very pleasant surprise

The rooms were very beautifully decorated, very clean and the view was spectacular We stayed on the top floor west wing We enjoyed 2 balconies overlooking the pool with a direct view of the beach The entire staff was so family friendly and very accommodating The location is perfect, very close to Galveston’s seawall and the Strand As Holiday Inn Club owners, we will definitely be returning

Sherry Bee

We enjoyed our time here We had a two bedroom on the first floor, which was spacious and had all the essentials Loved the ocean view from the balcony, but the pool was a little small for a resort but the beach is only steps away so it wasn’t a big deal

There is no restaurant at the resort, but there is a little grill(Tipsy Turtle) just steps away that serves quick meals and drinks
