What a beautiful historic Inn! We checked in for our 5 nights stay here during our visit to Maui and we were so graciously welcomed by Kiley She explained the parking process to us (yes they do offer free parking!) and also all the hotel amenities and went over the map of the hotel as well as nearby restaurants and shops Everyone at the front desk is so friendly and welcoming

The room comes with a lanai (a balcony) with two rocking chairs and a table Rooms are clean and decent sized They also offer room service upon request The hotel is so conveniently located on Front Street that you can pretty much walk to most restaurants and beaches around Their courtyard is just so dreamy and they also have an in-house talking parrot named Alex Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in West Maui on their trip

Kelly Santos

Love this historic hotel Staff is exceptional & location is perfect Room was not fancy, but updated and very clean

AC is a MUST for us, and it worked perfectly!! We have stayed at high-end resorts up the coast at Kaanapali, which are beautiful, but we prefer staying here for the location, cost and experience We didn’t need a car, so that saved a ton of money Can’t wait to return!

Julie Casson

Fantastic historical hotel for those that like boutique style stays Super comfy beds Right next to the banyan tree

Delicious restaurant downstairs The pool is a bit cold but we preferred the beach a few blocks away Our favorite was the lanai with rocking chairs We traveled with our son and the fold out mini bed worked just fine Great AC too ad nice bathroom We loved it

Lauree Hawes

We booked two rooms through Costco for my family and my parents We had requested adjoining rooms at booking When we arrived they had us on completely different floors which was not going to work with how much we wanted to spend time together

They found us new rooms on the ground floor a few rooms apart We did lose out on our ocean view that we paid extra for but it was EXTREMELY convenient to be on the ground floor fairly close to the pool We were not far from our room which made the many trips back to our room betterWe enjoyed the pool everyday and ate from every restaurant The staff was always great and attentive We rented a cabana for one of our pool days and we really enjoyed having the service and shade Highly recommend a cabana We booked this prior to arrivingThe hotel also has sunscreen stations which was a lifesaver for the harsh sun on kids!We saw turtles swimming by black rock and even jumped off So much fun! We would stay here again

Priya Ball

Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again The resort definitely shows some age and is not as modern as most of the other places along the beach, but the rooms are decent and the location on the beach is really great You can go snorkeling straight off the beach, or go cliff jumping into the ocean if that is your thing

The pool is large and windey Not a lot of features to it, but plenty of space for everyone We got an ocean front room and were pleasantly surprised with the size, it was larger than we expected and had 2 balconies The actual ocean view you get likely cannot be matched by other resorts given how the Sheraton is at the very end of the beach and stick out quite far The bathrooms are showing their age but everything was well cleaned and maintained The open air lobby is beautiful and is a really nice spot to hang out and enjoy ocean views The Coral Reef restaurant is tasty and Cliff Dive bar is one of the best views to get with your expensive cocktail Skip the Sandbar The game room is in sore need of repairs but the fitness center is fairly modern Above all else the views from the Sheraton are breathtaking

Lauren

Incredible friendly staff! Saved us from a place down the way that was not clean or comfortable so this was a nice upgrade The room is nice but very standard The amenities are great but you have to pay a fee to use them and nothing is included

It would be nice for how much you pay to have some drinks included or some other things to be used in the pool and on the beach to be complimentary We had a very positive experience and the views the facility was amazing

Patricia Haupt

This was a very nice resort Everything was pretty much open-air Being from the main land this was a surprise to us but was nice

They offered different classes during the day, which was nice I took advantage if the lei-making class Different types if leis were shown before teaching how, which was very interesting The restaurants in the resort were very good and we quickly learned that they required reservations The sunset view from our balcony was beautiful

Amy D

My husband and I stayed here in May and absolutely loved it! The resort is beautiful and we had so much fun! We would definitely stay againIt was in such a peaceful area and far exceeded our expectations The food at the restaurant was also really good and they offered a lot of activities at the resort

We recommend this resort to anyone who comes to Maui!

Vincenzo Pandolfi

Very disappointed in the room and mattresses We were put in a wheelchair accessible room, which is not what we booked They never made us aware at check in of this downgrade

This was very inconvenient for us The mattresses were absolutely horrible No support They did switch one out for us, but it was just as bad The beds are low to the ground with less support than the beds in the standard room next to us, which we paid for We paid a considerable amount of money and did not get this value in our stay We enjoyed everything else about the resort, but unfortunately a good night sleep is the most important part of a vacation, which we did not get All three of us staying in this room are experiencing a lot of back and neck pain due to the poor mattresses Don’t let them put you in room 6029!! We deserve some type of compensation for this issue that significantly had a negative impact on our stay

Kacie Sanfilippo

Location, location, location 1 miles from downtown which has lots of shops, restaurants, bars

5 miles from a Safeway 2 great sandy beaches within a few minutes drive I was in a single person room which was the perfect size Everything for cooking, utensils/pots/cups/plates etc The towels were fluffy and the bed was comfy They offer beach towels and beach gear Every morning you can sit at the sea/rock wall and see the turtles, at night you can sit out and hear the Old Lahaina Luau in the distance Staff was extremely friendly and helpful There is no TV, Phone or AC, but with cell phones you don’t need a phone or TV I just stayed there and didn’t need an AC, just left the windows open and fans on The only con was the water temperature was a little tricky at times, but it’s an older building, that’s to be expected Lots of beautiful flowers, grass, birds and plenty of seats and tables It was a wonderful trip and can’t wait to go back and stay here again!

Karlie

This place absolutely blew away my expectations My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was magical Waking up and hearing the waves crash right next to your room is what dreams are made of

We had one of the ocean view rooms, which you can select upon booking, so our balcony pointed straight toward the sunset It was beautifulThe rooms are set up like a studio apartment There’s a little kitchen area with a microwave, fridge and stove They provide dishes and silverware for you which was a nice touch There’s a little dining table as well The bed was comfortable! Very clean room overallThis is an adults only hotel which was a blessing, no screaming children in sight If you’re wanting a beach right outside your room, this is not the place for you The sea wall is literally right outside with no beach access However there are beaches and restaurants within walking distance This is also not a big resort experience, if that is also what you’re looking for That was one of the things that drew us to this placeLaura, the owner, was a great and attentive person that gave us wonderful advice on where to eat and play I would not stay anywhere else in Maui, and I know we will return here some day

Shane Lynam

Really nice place to stay The sea views from the garden area were stunning with plenty of sun loungers to relax on Sunsets were awesome

It was also our honeymoon and Laura left a card in our room which was a nice touch! Baby Beach is about a 13 min walk away also with a very good snorkelling spot A 5 min walk to a number of decent restaurants too Highly recommend

Martha S

Absolutely the best view and service I loved waking up and seeing their swans and other birds in their court yard

As well as the birds chirping The otherside you can hear and maybe see the nightly luau The beach is right outside of the walkway Kids pools were great for the little ones It ties in with the other pool They had water slide and all the convince we needed for our best vacation in our lifetime Regency was the best of all the locations when visited HawaiiIf we ever go back this is the o e for us

Surya Teja

Awesome property to stay Hyatt is so generous to its customers I highly recommend their hotel statuses which can get you a nicer room if available

Many activities at this location We loved the free morning yoga at the Napili gardens Staff is super friendly Japengo’s food is awesome and do an early reservation; and to the Pacific drums of Luau

Carlos Castro

Our visit to the Spa was nice and the Massage and the Rock Massage was amazing! There was only a couple things that dropped our rating that was: Marilyn Monroe never came to the place so it doesn’t hold any actual connection to her, upon making the reservation for a couples massge we weren’t encouraged to arrive early to use the Sauna, Jacuzzi, Steamroom or relaxing area So once all was said and done we got dressed and went about our day

Overall it was very nice as a first for us @ $165 for full body Massage and $180 for Stone full body Massage and a mandatory %20 gratuity totalling $428 I might recommend passing on this to utilize the money on larger activities, to create more memories but in all that’s up to each person We do do appreciate what we did receive So Thank you!!

Krista Soltes

This one is tough to write When my family and I first arrived, we were welcomed into a beautiful, spacious room The balcony alone was breathtaking, plus the view

We immediately experienced an issue with the fridge/ice maker, but it was resolved quickly by the maintenance teamThe second afternoon we were there, we were eating dinner when my kids noticed an “ant” Then, they pointed out that there was a cockroach! Granted, I get it – coming from Florida, but it was not expectedThe hotel responded quickly and moved us to a new room, but the room was much smaller and had less of a view, even though they said it was the same in terms of square footage I’d argue that, but we made the best of the time we had thereThere wasn’t good communication about how to go about getting towels for the pool either I didn’t realize some have a wristband and can use the towel machines, whereas others have a card and have to request them from the shack, for the white towelsParking is also a nightmare in the garage if you self-park, and unfortunately they have low staffing it seems so valet took foreverThe rooms also need updating The sliding door wouldn’t open in one room, and the window coverings were stainedOverall, we made the best of our experience, but I don’t think this resort will be our first choice going back to Maui

Kiki Cooper

I’m mid stay here so will update at the end of the stayThey have no cleaning, despite the length of the stay no cleaning is done of the guest rooms Only when asking for a mop and bucket to be able to clean ourselves in this case, they let us know that they can clean if we request it 24 hours in advance

COVID is used as an excuse for the lack of cleaning but is difficult to believe when they have literally no other social distancing measures in placeWhen we checked in the toilet was clogged, housekeeping hadn’t done anything for this And both bath tubs were dirty The bedsheets also had stains on them Which makes it worse that they do no cleaning throughout the stay because they don’t even start you off with clean roomsRooms are also quite dated but the sofa and beds are comfortableService can be touch and go, sometimes people are really helpful and other times notI would not say that this was really a 4 star accommodation, it feels a lot more like 2/3The pools are nice, but are a bit small And people claim the sun loungers all day with towels despite not actually having intentions to go to the pool their belongings are never removed despite warning signsThe location is nice, and close to the super market and not too far from the other towns

Jake Laurrell

I’m kinda torn on this review It was probably going to get a 5/5 but the last day of our stay soured it a bitThe bad: The room we had was pretty outdated, but that’s not a huge deal

It was disappointing that they are not currently doing room cleanings Instead, you call for more towels or trash service — which is fine but there’s numerous daily fees that we still payThe no cleaning problem kinda showed itself on our last day We opened a kitchen cabinet and 2 cockroaches fell to the floor and scurried away I can’t help but assume that they are only there because of infrequent cleaningsThe good: Beautiful location, very convenient amenities, great staff Good restaurant on site Pools were nice and the beach nearby was amazingThis is definitely a family oriented resort, as there were many with young kids here For some that will be a pro, others not so muchWould be a 5/5 if the roaches didn’t show themselves after we were already turned off by the lack of cleaning services during our stay

This resort is so friendly and laid back and has everything you need for a good price Rooms are spacious with gorgeous bathrooms The pool area is amazing! Never a fight for a chair since there are so many

Day time bartenders Theresa and Dave were so professional, friendly and on top of their jobs I’m someone that usually prefers sit down dining and pool side service which they don’t currently have, but I was100% satisfied with the bar and food options There are many places to walk to for food and there is a fabulous paved trail that goes 1-15 ish miles down towards other resorts for more dining options, beach access and exercise Concierge was great also, they hook you up with a waterproof bracelet that is a key so you don’t have to carry it around, and can set you up with fun excursions I found fabulous surf lessons through them The other guests are also very friendly! I travel alone to Hawaii often and this was my best trip because of how friendly everyone was Highly recommended unless you are snooty about modern decor, etc, which I don’t understand This place was wonderful

Melissa Blattler

This isn’t a 5 star hotel, but definitely deserves 5 stars for service & location! We loved our week long stay here Resort is a bit dated, but the location and staff were amazing! Great pool area with a small water slide We never had trouble finding a place to sit by the pool

Rooms were spacious & clean If we needed anything, we just sent the front desk a text, and it was at our door in 15 min Loved having the food trucks & restaurants within walking distance 10 minutes to some of the best beaches in Maui too! Amazing value here!

Shivakumar Rajam

This is a good resort right on the beach Though the rooms are a bit dated, they are very spacious and their 1 bedroom suite can easily accommodate a family of 4 Kitchen is decent size for short stay and laundry on each floor is helpful

A giant swimming pool + restaurant with adjacent access to the beach is very unique and exclusive The beach is neat and water was warm and clean with plenty of space on the sand to rest and relax In-house dining options are limited Their concierge is focused on selling timeshare products and they hunt you for the same which is annoying Overall, I’d recommend this place for a family vacation👍

Overall a really great hotel in MauiLocation – a little far from the main airport & they don’t offer a shuttle (~50 minutes) It’s right on the beach & located right next to the mall

So there are plenty of restaurants & shops nearby making the location idealRooms – our room was clean & updated The view from our room was beautiful Bed was comfortable and the room was spaciousLanai Access – so worth the extra money We booked our room in their new tower which automatically gave us access to this lounge They had complimentary breakfast and happy hour bites I didn’t have high hopes but it turned out to be delicious The adult only pool is also nice & quiet Lots of great place to sit in the shade to enjoy a drink at the private barWe would stay here again in a heartbeat

Victoria Sabinina

The service was incredible! Everyone was so friendly and accommodatingWe weren’t happy with our room first, the manager personally called us and upgraded us to another towerWe really enjoyed Lanai, definitely worth extra money

The pool and the views are gorgeousAnd the food is better than in a lot of restaurants aroundI would highly recommend to stay in a new towerThe property itself is well maintained and very cleanDefinitely will come back!

Kate Mitchell

This is probably the nicest hotel/resort I have ever stayed at The grounds since the renovation are INCREDIBLE Literally so beautiful everywhere you turn

we stayed in the spa tower and 100% recommend it for access to the lanai It was so nice to be in the pool or beach and come up to the lanai for lunch where it was so quiet a d beautiful You can snorkel reefs right off their Beach and the pools were incredible (especially the adult pool with the sand bottom)we were so sad to leave and can’t wait to come back!

Great location! About 45 min from the airport The resort is clean and located snuggly on the beach The beach is perfect for swimming & families

The resort does have snorkeling gear, paddle boards & other outdoor items to rentWe stayed in a 2-bedroom/2-bathroom ocean view room Spacious! The space is a little outdated but definitely met my family’s needs, and provided space for the kids Highly recommend grocery shopping if you are wanting to save a little $$$ since it has a full kitchenThere are 2 pools, a pickle ball court and a shuffle board for entertainment My daughter & I participated in a lei making class & hula lessons located right in the lobby This resort met our expectations!

Surprised by how good it was than what I was expectingPros:1 Staff was courteous and super helpful2

Had all the amenities of a good resort; nice pools, sun bathing areas, bar by the pool3 Close to a lot of things: food trucks/convenience stores/things to do4 Reasonably pricedCons:1/ beach wasn’t really accessible when we were there but then again we could walk to close by beaches2/ room wasn’t the best Was spacious but could use more sound proofing

Brooke Terryn

The views are amazing, the food at the diner is incredible, and the two are pools are fantastic for all of your needs The first night was a little rough, as our room wasn’t quite what we had wanted, but luckily they were able to fix it by the next day and the rest of our experience was nothing short of spectacular Definitely a place to keep in mind if you’re looking for a relaxing space to lay your head!

What a wonderful and enjoyable stay at the Maui Ka’anapali Villas My family loved the site with all of the on scene amenities and beautiful flora It was definitely less crowded than most other resorts on Maui

Great access to beach and pool The towel service was great! My Perfect Stays had has a lower booking rate than Air B&B The convenience booking fee and the “cleaning” fees are much lower As for the room itself, we loved it Our family of 5 fit very nicely for our economical trip to Maui The view from the room is stunning Full sized kitchen appliances and kitchen was very helpful The only thing that could be improved on is the shower Very little to no temperature control, very slippery when wet, and the curtain is a nuisance Not enough to change my 5 star rating but still something to be considered!!! Anyways, we loved it Thanks!!!

Hasmik Gyurjinyan

Just returned from this resort it is the best Room was very clean and being cleaned frequently It had full kitchen and fridge so if needed you can cook also the balcony seating was my favorite for breakfasts

The resort location is 8 minutes away from Whalers village, where you can get on trolley for free The location is very quiet (went to some other beaches, they were too crowded) the beach was sandy/small stones, which made it easier to walk and swim, and it didn’t have many reefs in water, so the best place for swimming, though there were no big waves as wellAs a person who is very picky I highly recommend this resort

Feels like home, but better! We accidentally under booked our honeymoon and ended up finding this hidden gem for a night Sherry, Tiana and Renee were so friendly and helpful Our room was clean and cozy

They gave us everything we needed and more We loved being able to pick up one of their beach chairs and walk across the street to the beach We cleaned off in their outdoor shower and splashed in the pool Oh and they had the best shampoo and conditioner out of anywhere else we stayed!! We didn’t have a chance to borrow one of their bikes but we would have loved to take them to the nearby restaurants and shops! We wish we could have stayed longer Thank you for an amazing stay and memories that will last a lifetime! 🌺

We had such a fantastic time staying at the Old Lahaina House! Sherry and her staff have been above and beyond with their hospitality – they’re always so quick to respond and had so many fun facts and suggestions about the neighbourhood The units we stayed in were very clean and cozy – the neighbourhood is fairly quiet and we found ourselves waking up to the sounds of birds in the morning! This was also located so conveniently close to town that we spent many nights walking into town for food and drinks, then sauntering back via the beach – we had some of the best sunsets here and so many stars on clear nights! So if you’re looking for a well-priced, locally hosted spot – this is honestly perfect!

My friend and I had an incredible stay!! We were considering some more upscale resorts and I’m so glad we went with this Felt so homey and authentic but also a really nice experience — lovely pool with fun floaties, beach chairs, toys, and towels and just across the street from the beach, walking distance from fun restaurants, bars, and food trucksThe rooms also had a fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, and dishes, which was a bonus

Above all, Sherry, her family and staff (and the other guests) were sooo friendly and welcoming Was a joy to stay

It really is pretty No full kitchen or laundry in our room which is a bit disappointing since it’s a vacation club Our rooms are quite large, which is why I wish we could have laundry

The staff for the most part are awesome!Within walking distance of shops and restaurants so you don’t have to leave unless you want to Lots of stuff for kids to do The pools are really nice and have fun features

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a hotel This web site will compare hundreds of hotel sites and typically will have prices much cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This resort is one of the best in this area

I’ve been staying here for a very long time If you stay for a few days you definitely won’t be disappointedHuge shared space, large dining table, full kitchen (full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, 5 burner stove, conventional oven, microwave, toaster, blender, dishes and utensils for 8), two master suites with king beds, jacuzzi tub, two sofa beds Beach views within hear shot of soothing crashing waves

Very torn between 3 and 4 It is a nice place to stay Parking is good staff is friendly

Like most hotels not enough staff Easier to get your own a lot of the time then wait for server Free self parking Food is typical Balconies on the room are a disappointment First too narrow Then handrail at eye level Finally- a wall ⅔ up the railing height every other floor blocking views I think the lack of depth is what makes them tuff to manageTypical free gift that is not a gift It is a gift after you take a tour and hear the sales pitch = not much of a resort credit for 2-4 hours of your time

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your place This web site will compare countless booking websites and usually will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of my favorites in this area

I have been staying here for years If you stay for a few nights you for sure won’t be let downFamily friendly and everything was super easy We opted for the one bedroom suite and it was HUGE, especially compared to other places like the Hyatt You get way more bang for your buck here Staff works really hard to make the resort clean and running smoothly Tip well! Walk to Whalers village, pool area is awesome and there’s tons of stuff for kids Obviously resort dining is quite overpriced but convenient If you want better food for cheaper I’d leave the resort area and bring it back Free trolley will take you to Whalers or other resorts

Great Location to spend a week with the family! Easy access for shopping and restaurants and perfect flexibility for families The kitchen amenities make it an ideal location for families who may want to relax at home rather than going out It’s the best of both worlds

Just like everyone else says the parking is horrible Be prepared to unload the family from the car before parking in the stalls We brought floaty‘s to enjoy in the pool and had a lot of questions about where we got them from Amazon and they’re super easy to pack! Also keep your screen doors closed in the condo because birds will fly in and take food off your kitchen table

We’ve been coming the this Marriott since 1997 and it never fails to deliver a fantastic experience! The staff is amazing – they are beyond friendly and welcoming, we feel like family every time we check in Krystle is like a big sister to the tribe that is my parent’s grandchildren, she’s seen the older ones grow up and now is meeting the younger generation, and they all love her! She does the kid’s activities throughout the day and we had kids from 21 to 3 years old just loving hanging out with her At the pool bar the bartenders remember our faces year after year and always have a smile for us

The staff hasn’t changed in the last 30 years, so that’s saying somethingThe views from the pool are amazing, you can walk to Whaler’s Village in 10 minutes, you’re a 5 minute drive to Lahaina, and the rooms are supremely comfortable You can’ ask for more

My husband and I stayed at the Plantation Inn for our mini honeymoon recently The inn was perfect for our needs for the weekend We loved that it was quiet, adults only, and so close to Front Street

The pool and hot tub being 24/7 was awesome, and the pool was always clean and not crowded Our room was clean, spacious and the balcony overlooking the pool was a nice touch We loved having a delicious, gourmet breakfast included The staff were all helpful and attentive to anything we needed It’s a small, quiet inn but it’s perfect for a relaxing getaway with access to everything you could want in Lahaina Parking was a little tight, but that not a big deal all things considered We would definitely stay here again over staying in a large resort overrun with people!

Amazing place to stay! So quiet and relaxing even though your close to the city You wouldn’t guess it being there I’d highly recommend staying at! Very friendly and great service

Breakfast tasted so good and had indoor and outdoor seating Very lovely place to stay at! Rather your looking to get away and read a book by the pool or enjoy the city night life with live music and walk back to room this is the place to stay at!

K N

A very nice bed and breakfast Room was spacious and clean with a balcony Breakfasts were good, however the menu options were the same each day; would have liked a bit more variety over our 3 day stay

There is no elevator access to the 2nd floor Provided beach towels and chairs Ice machine was locked and had to ask front desk for assistance, Since property is protected by key cards it would have been nice to have access to ice at our convenience

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights, February 4th-8th We don’t have enough good things to say about Napili Sunset! Their customer service was outstanding I received several emails leading up to our stay confirming details and Covid procedures

We arrived over two hours early to check-in, and based on availability we were able to get in to our room right away Their key-cards are waterproof bracelets which we found to be super convenient during our stay I absolutely loved the Ocean View King Loft, the view from the balcony was spectacular, and definitely the best view compared to others we’ve stayed at (including a lot of higher-end resorts) There was a portable AC in the bedroom and blackout curtains which kept it super cool at night During the day there was a nice ocean breeze, and with the lofted ceilings, I didn’t mind not having AC in the entire unit The kitchen is fully equipped, again, better than many places we’ve stayed It takes a solid 10 seconds to walk from your door to the beach or to your car in the parking lot It’s also located in a great spot- walkable to many restaurants via the beach or road If you can’t walk, everything you could possibly need is a short drive away We had a late flight the night we were leaving and we were able to check-out an hour late which was super helpful I honestly can’t believe that this is only a two-star resort! I was even hesitant about writing this review because I don’t want everyone to find out about this little gem If you’re looking for a laid-back beach focused resort, then this is your place

lAGAwTHA

Affordable compared to other resorts in Maui with kitchen, it’s outdated but it’s clean and has a small pool for my kids, near the beach, free to use beach chairs, toys, towels etc and friendly staff The only negative is that the resort says Beach front, which is not true for us

They placed us across the street which I think is false advertisement They should fix this and make this another hotel without the beach front name so guest doesn’t feel being cheated
