The rooms were very clean, the employees were very nice and helpful but we stayed there 2 weeks and in the last weekend there were a bunch of teenagers running, yelling, slamming doors over and over and over again and playing basketball until almost 1 am I called the front desk around 11 pm and asked the gentleman that answered the phone to please go upstairs ro the third floor to hear all the yelling and basketball playing and put an end to it because my sister and I had to get up early to be at the hospital for training at 7 am Well we waited and waited for the man at the front desk to go upstairs or call them but he literally did nothing and the noise finally stopped a little past 1 am

So the next morning when we were leaving looking like zombies I stopped to tell the lady at the front desk and she already knew what I was going to say and she said “I did hear what happened, but don’t worry they’re all gone” So I said that if it happened again to move us to another floor because we were there to sleep But the rest of the time before that weekend everything was perfect

River Park House is such a peaceful retreat I love staying here when I come to visit family It’s walkable to restaurants and right on Spring Park where you can swim in a pool fed by the spring water

The park has two playgrounds and a pier Leyda is the best host and makes you feel like family The rooms are very well done, and there’s a with a nice mix of vintage pieces with a touch of modern The breakfast is awesome and there are always snacks out for you to take as you head out the door or back to your room 5/5 for this hidden gem in Green Cove Springs

Joy Miller

Super quiet and relaxing, and it’s right across the street from the springs and the St John’s River park Our room was spacious, beds comfortable, and it had an updated bath

Breakfast was yummy, and Leyda was a very welcoming host We stopped on our way south, and will definitely be back whenever we are in the area Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Vicki Kaffenberger

Finding it difficult to locate a place to stay in downtown Green Cove Springs? River Park House (formerly River Park Inn) is the place for you Not only is Leyda and Robert’s home beautiful and cozy, they are outstanding hosts Their care and concern for your comfortable stay goes above and beyond any other places we have stayed

Couple that with the location being within walking distance of a great coffee shop and numerous restaurants, it’s perfect St Johns River is a block away and the mineral springs are just across the streetYour search should begin and end with River Park House!

Rooms were very clean, spacious and accommodating You can’t beat the great price Room came with a nice little kitchenette and complimentary coffee

Breakfast is complimentary too and offers a nice variety Staff was very friendly and helpful Plenty of parking and for military families relocating it has places to park small moving trucks Located right next to the golf course Will definitely return

Nick Skirvin

All was well until the last night when the manager got on my group’s case about wearing masks, saying she was the manager She didn’t look like the manager I spoke with the day prior who said she’d had no complaints (impressive for a group of high school students)Roach as long as a 110v plug crawling up the wall was a nice touch, but how many did I not see?

Bob Builder

Overall, reasonable accommodations for the price over my >1 month stay Three issues: repairs, animals, housekeepingRepairs – upon checking in, I had multiple repair requests involving cords on blinds falling off, fridge replacement for door closure issue and leaking, bathtub drain clogging There were four functional dryers for a hotel with roughly 90 rooms, others were out of service for the entirety of my stay

Animals – outdoor trash is filled with raccoons, you have to take out your own trash, and I would often throw the trash (sometimes miss the garbage bin entirely) to avoid contracting rabies from an uninvited bite Indoors, I saw fruit flies if I left food in my room trash for more than 1 day, so I made an effort to take this out daily Beetles were seen by the AC A lizard was seen by my fridge Maintenance addressed my pest issues in the room, but the raccoon issue remained This is a health and safety concernHousekeeping – upon check-in the front desk informed me housekeeping will service my room every 4th day, the standard note left in each room from the GM states they’ll swing by every 3rd day In actuality, they came every 5th day I requested on three separate occasions for housekeeping to come on certain days of the week due to using my room for meetings on particular dates; this was not respected even onceI would encourage management to address maintenance/pest issues by pre-treating/pre-inspecting rooms, hiring exterminator for raccoon issue, and speak with housekeeping to streamline services for our active duty populations

Absolutely enjoyed my stay The hotel staff was extremely friendly My family really enjoyed Joshua in the hotel restaurant

He was extremely friendly and polite He is the reason we ate at the hotel for dinner both nights of our stay The room was great We had no issue The only downfall was the pool was extremely cold Our daughter is a water baby so that was a bummer for us

Debbie Aubrey

This hotel is close to the Hwy,which on one hand is good, but it as also means the noise level is higher The room itself was nice just as advertised on the website

It was also nice to be able to have a hot complementary breakfast again( Post Covid) The staff were nice I did see staff wiping down door handles, tables, lamp lights All staff wore masks You do have to ask for house cleaning if staying longer than one day

Stacey Deal

This hotel is one of our favorite Hilton brand hotels and we love staying there! The only thing this hotel does different than the rest of the other Hilton hotels, is you cannot go to the pool whenever you want! You have to make a reservation! I know that the pool is indoors, but again other Hilton hotels in the area with an indoor pool do not require a reservation! The hot tub was not hot! It was just as cool as the pool! Other than those two things, it was great! Breakfast is fantastic and the omelets are delicious!

The staff upon check in and in passing were very pleasant The gentleman checking us in was awesome and hilarious Was great talking to him

Cheered us up after a long day of travel The day and evening staff always gave a passing “hello” and would ask if everyone was going well or if we needed anythingThe ONLY reason I almost took 1 star off was due to the state of the tub It was pretty beat up I assume they are renovating, because the room, beds, TV and counters were ultra updated/in perfect condition The beds were probably the most comfortable I’ve EVER stayed in I usually don’t sleep well when traveling, but these beds changed that So I recommend overlooking the tub if you get that room (it was still perfectly functional) and just enjoy the remainder of your time By the time I was out of the tub, I forgot all about itBecause the hospitality, beds and rest of the room was perfect I don’t feel the need to knock stars off

Mimi Jones

This hotel was definitely amazing! And I love how the rooms match the pictures that they advertise online to a perfection! They were super clean no dust anywhere except for the AC vents, it was very dusty there so maybe they could clean the vents out or change the filters a bit more consistently (we ended catching colds because of this)Other than that our stay here was amazing and our housekeeper Kenneth was awesome and very attentive to us! He deserves a raise!

Courtney Cox

Overall, the hotel is fine You can tell it was once a really fabulous place but it is in need of a lot of TLC The rooms are pretty spacious, but housekeeping was not great

The rooms have hard floors with lighting around the perimeter of the bed, and as soon as the light turned on, there was trash and debris all over the floor, not to mention the 2 insects I had to kill in the roomthere is currently no on site restaurant or bar which was disappointing as it was one of the main reasons I booked (the direct website does mention that these amenities are closed, but 3rd party sites do not) The pool was nice and warm and very clean When I mentioned the cleanliness issues to the desk manager, I was offered some Best Western Points which is ok, but given what I paid for the room, I certainly expected just a higher overall standard All in all, if the price was right, I would consider staying again, but only if I inspected the room before agreeing to stay

This hotel is pretty good Very clean and new Breakfast is one of the best you’ll see for free breakfast

Staff is helpful They only downfall is they only clean your room if you ask by 830am Not great if you’re staying multiple days Hotel manager is not responsive to a request for a call back My boyfriend stepped on a roofing nail right next to their building and she ignored my request for a callback 3 times Not cool at all I expect better customer service from an establishment such as this

Ellen Graham

We loved our stay It was a home away from home The room was very quite, clean and our youngest son loved the view from the room of the pool, on the ground floor

We also enjoyed the continental breakfast, on-demand snacks, mini-fridge and Microwave (this was very needed in sterilizing baby bottles for our youngest); to enjoy our food in the room or the main facility when we had breakfast, or restaurant leftovers as a snack Hampton met all of our stay needsThe Staff was helpful, cordial and very accommodating Especially Madeline and Mary-Lynn When we needed extra Towels, a room refresh or coins for laundry – they we very helpful and friendly We sincerely look forward to a return to JAX Orange Park and will look forward to another stay if needed in your Hampton Inn Location The whole family enjoyed the stay very muchSincerely,The Grahams

David Fadule

I wish I could give it full stars like Hampton deserves The lady at the front desk was great and sweet like I would believe they should be The people in general were really nice and deserve their recognition

However, the iron had water left in it from the previous tenants The shower was slippery as if they left something in the bottom of it The picture frame and all had a dust collection on it for those who may be allergic to dust I will admit the only thing that looked really clean was the air unit and bed linen Other than that the breakfast was decent w/ buffet style cheese omelets, sausage, gravy & biscuits, and french toast strips There were also normal fruit and bagels

Suite had a kitchen, but microwave did not work The one appliance that I would have used I reported it and was directed to a community microwave down the hall

Appreciated CoVid measures in the room Phones and remotes wrapped, antibacterial wipes provided, etc Room was quiet Pillows were great Staff was friendly Easy access to I-295

Kelly Ruston

Very happy with our stay! Kitchenette was lovely, full sized fridge and all the extras including plates etc Nice large desk, comfy reclining chair next to the bed, and the bathroom was clean and spacious The key card reader was a little finicky to get into the room

There were two really lovely gazebos out back, both of which featured a grill along with seating Security patrolled outside overnight, so we felt very safe and weren’t concerned about our vehicle Location was great, easy on/off the highway and a few places to order delivery from

Leah LaBounty

I’ve stayed here for a couple of extended stays Rooms and common areas are always clean Rooms have kitchenettes and full size fridges which is awesome; everything worked well

Free laundry, little gym area, often a selection of food/snacks/beverages/travel size toiletries Staff are all friendly and helpful, and do a good job of keeping everything clean A lot of long term stay guests Couple different outdoor areas with grills, there is a little pond in the back The area is kinda walkable but not a ton of stuff in the immediate area No pool or anything but the beach is close Great location, easy to get all around Jax and surrounding areas, right off 95 and 202 Usually a pretty quiet area as well I don’t really have any complaints!

I had an issue with checkin, but Roz and Kristin were so helpful! Big kudos to Roz for dealing with “Juan” After checking in inspected room and found several hairs in shower, by toilet and under the sheets! So, I wiped everything down We had breakfast included in room price

Breakfast was good First morning we had pancakes, the second morning we had french toast If you include breakfast with your room, make sure you say everything you want, including drinks it’s made to order off list they provide or you can pay 899 for continental or buy meals from list most started at $1050it was a last minute stay to celebrate wedding anniversary so we stayed in room 😊 😉 except to get foodwe asked lady for late check out she let us have a extra 30 minutes 😒 even as Hilton Honors members The location is close to gas station and different food options Complaint about location I wish they would open up gate to road at the back of the hotel so you don’t have to fight 4 lanes to get in u turn lane We would definitely stay again, though

Christian Baez

The employees here are the best I rented a hotel room for my mom’s birthday and they did everything to make sure it was amazing They upgraded our suite free of charge, gave me a free drink voucher, and a breakfast on them for my mom

They even let us borrow some tape and scissors to decorate the room Would absolutely go back! Thank you Madeline!

e6bnfo

Front desk staff was great Lack of housekeeping is somewhat understandable, but the room had a bit of a sewage smell The benefit of staying here as a Diamond guest is limited to the $10 day credit that doesn’t cover the cost of breakfast

Stayed here pre-pandemic when breakfast buffet was included and great Now it’s a nickel and dime affair with bottles of $2 OJ and plastic utensils in protective packaging So for the same price might as well stay at the Hampton Inn and not get gouged

I stayed here from March 8-11 This is not my usual hotel My usual hotel, another holiday inn express, inflated its prices for spring break

This hotel was cheaper and was the same kind I come to Jacksonville only to visit the Mayo Clinic I am a 33-year-old woman who is on oxygen and am up for a lung transplant So, I am back and forth from Tallahassee, where I live, to Jacksonville frequently because of thatThe 3-night stay ended in an infestation of BED BUGS!!! Both me and my companion had bites all over our arms and I inadvertently brought them home with me The manager did a couple of things for us like change us to a new room and gave us a few alcohol swabs for our arms but for the whole ordeal I only got $5600 taken of my bill so I still had to pay over $300 for a complete infestation of bed bugs I think I should have gotten a free ride out of that……………Not only the bed bug situation but also when I first arrived something occurred when we were checking in that caused me to give the manager, who was taking care of me the side eye Very questionable service I was given upon arrival which rubbed me the wrong wayI will not be back to this hotel ever As a warning for whoever stays at this hotel from now on, the room numbers that we stayed in and were changed to are 515 and 516 So, if I were you, if you are booked into one of those rooms do yourself a favor and ask to be switched because 515 was the original room we were given with the bed bugs and we were changed to 516 I am quite sure if I brought them home with me, they were transferred to the second room Good luck to anyone who stays at this hotel You are going to need it!

Christine Greco

Got there and the lady upfront held a room for me and my handicap sister I told her I would be back to go get r belongings and when we got back she sold it She did find us a room but it was very hot, refrigerator didn’t work but she told us

She gave us a discount military service and for the way the room was Well, my step-dad paid on his credit card and he found out that they charged him 10089 dollars and she gave it to us for 10065 dollars! Called them and Megan was suppose to credit it back to his account and never did! So disappointing

I love the location Quiet and easily walkable to several bars and restaurants The staff was SO nice and welcoming

They were possibly the kindest and sweetest hotel staff I’ve ever met I had two separate reservations which needed to be combined and they did so seamlessly They explained the parking, amenities, charges thoroughly We requested a few items sent to the room and they showed up immediately Would definitely stay again

Greg Withers

Booked my room from Hotel tonight! $219 supposed to be a suit! Turned out to be one room two beds! Took 15 minutes to get help when I first came in! Lady explained to me the pet fee was $125 but on Hotels Tonight it said $50! Then explain its $15 for parking Hotel tonight said $999! Plus additional $40 hold on your card! This really set a tone for my families vacation! My last time staying here not worth it

Daniel Pooser

I have to say I was very disappointed during my stay considering the condition of the hotel I understand that things happen beyond the hotel’s control, but guest should be notified at time of booking that the place is under some kind of construction and services which we come to depend on (Ie

breakfast) are not available I understand they were sending guests next door, but we both know the breakfast there is nothing compared to what is offered at HGIThe missing ceilings near the elevator, wires hanging out that wall, the stained flooring throughout the hotel, and not having bath rags in my room was just to name a few things I was shocked to discover As a Diamond Member, I choose this brand of hotels because of the comfort in knowing that I am going to get a level of service that I have come to love and appreciate You can’t charge rates based on what the hotel once was, but need to reflect what current conditions are Sadly, this was a step up from a Motel 6 and I don’t say that lightly I was here attending a family emergency and recommended this hotel to all my family who also stayed here, and frankly I was embarrassedThe highlight of the stay was the wonderful staff at the front desk Despite working in conditions like this, they were very upbeat and charismatic That is the one thing that I can say has stayed true to what has always been when I come here I have to say, this will probably be the last stay at this location

The valet employees are very accommodating and friendly The property is clean and the restaurant on site has good food The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable

The property has every amenity you would expect The rooftop pool is nice and spacious There’s a nice grand piano on the second floor for guests to play which is nice but only two chairs by it if people want to sit and enjoy the musicThat being said the rooms are EXTREMELY dated The wallpaper was peeling off the wall, the bathroom door was peeling apart and random mechanical parts were falling off the wall/ceiling The shower is something out of the 70s I venture to not even call it “lighting” in the room but rather simply a lamp You basically get dressed in the dark 24/7 The staff aren’t exactly nice — nor rude Common seating is absent There’s about 4 chairs in the lobby which are always taken and there’s a large space by the restaurant but no common chairs outsideOverall the location is convenient and I would stay at the hotel again — just don’t show up with ‘Marriott’ expectations and you’ll enjoy it

Scott LaGraize

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a room They compare hundreds of booking websites and typically will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This place is one of the highest rated in this area

I’ve been staying here for a very long time If you stay for a few nights you for sure won’t regret itNight Auditor, Nancy, provided the most pleasant and accommodating check-in experience for myself and guest! Our party enjoyed their stay here The only downside was with dinner, waitress was aware of our tabs and it still took a while to pay after we were through We did appreciate the accommodation for a large party and our time was enjoyable Thank you again, Nancy! I would most definitely have my guest stay here again!

The location is good but there’s quite a lot of homeless people around There’s a restaurant inside the hotel if you don’t want to go out ! Lobby is nice and clean! The hotel is clean but could use a renovation They only provided one towel for each person so I had to ask for more for the following day

They only provided one tiny bottle of body wash (125 fl oz) for me and my husband I think they should check how many people stay in the room and for how many days There’s no power outlet to charge your cellphone next to the bed TV is placed on the side of the bed rather than at the end of the bed

My wife Adult son and 9yr old grand daughter reserved a suite while visiting for my other son’s wedding After 2 nights of 4 night stay he housekeeping staff had not checked for room service They were reluctant to empty trash upon request, negligent in our request for room service

Upon direct contact requesting fresh towels Finally we resorted to contacting the front desk for action Holiday Inn is my first choice, the experience was by far the worse considering what I am used to I hope the next 2 nights are better

Was 5 star, friendly, helpful staff, great food, clean All was well until about to walk in the lobby and was told “there is video being recorded in the lobby, and will have to wait outside” Now I have years of photography experience, a couple of back drops or screens would have prevented background distractions

People could quietly make their way in respecting to keep noise level down Was the lobby the only place for this video, if so, another entry could have been far more appropriate to allow guests to enter This video filming turned 5 star review to 3, it was only a short wait for me Had it been longer, of course the star rating would be lower

I stayed there is week The hotel is amazing It was one of nicest hotels I’ve stayed at

Sadly, housekeeping knocks on your door an hour prior to checkout Lady said sorry Then another 15 minutes later, a different woman knocked on my door I felt this was rude, and lack of communication between front desk and housekeeping Checkout time was 11 I checked out at 1028 Lady at front desk didn’t seem to care when I brought it up to her

This place was *phenomenal* Everything in the room was clean And let’s be honest, how often does that happen? The lobby was always active with other guests as well as the staff

The smoking areas, parking lot and surrounding grounds were very well lit, and I always felt safe This is *extremely* important for a solo female traveler Any time I had a question, the staff had an answer So helpful and kind I would definitely stay here again So many lovely little perks about the place I enjoyed my stayHeads up, for those of you sensitive to sound: the hotel is extremely close to a very busy highway, and if you’re not running your heating/air conditioning unit, then you WILL hear it It didn’t bother me a bit as I grew up with highway noise, but I thought it worth mentioning for anyone who could be bothered by it Don’t let this discourage you from staying here, though It was a great place

We were there visiting family and it was probably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at Very clean, love the modern but bright colors We really liked that room service isn’t constantly coming in to clean only when you ask for it

The room is a little small but we weren’t there much Breakfast was a good selection and fresh Staff was friendly every time we came in they would say hi My favorite is how they out your name on the tv when you go into your room Makes it feel more personal

Chris

Overall the quality of our stay was good The location is excellent because it was near everything we wanted to go get food or gas The traffic was not bad since it gets bad in the afternoon anyway when it is near the exit

The room was nice It has that clean and smell to it We were glad the sheets feels and smells clean, that means they charge the sheets The pillows were ok The cleanliness overall was good We like the fact that the air smells good and it didn’t smell stuffed up at all Most hotels have that smell when their old The breakfast isn’t too shabby Great amenities for sale if you need snacks Coffee is always free Parking is free anywhere in the property And overall the staff are friendly and courteous will probably stay again

Lovely hotel

clean, beds are comfortable, wanted to take the pillows home, nice gift shop, the Market store was convenient to grab a snack/drink We had a room with a great view of the river and bridges (so pretty at night!), and the rooftop pool was nice Only negatives were, I was surprised that we could hear other toilets flushing and showers running and the “complimentary” bottles of water in the room were only for “members” and otherwise $4 I figure for what the cost of an overnight stay costs, a bottle of water could be included no matter if you are a member or notAll in all, nice stay!

Loved it! One night stay, but arrival to departure we were wowed Easy to park and great signage, lovely front desk staff, so kind and welcoming, beautiful lobby/ atrium area and we had a clean, comfortable room with an incredible view of the city and the river! Truly though the staff are the diamonds of this property… Wonderful service at the lobby bar, lots of smiling faces and sincere and genuine interactions with everyone there and at the Market specifically We were just spending a stop over there this trip, but are already planning a return visit specifically to spend time in Jacksonville, Florida and will 100% stay again!!!

Hyatt Regency Jacksonville is a great hotel stay The view was spectacular and the area was just right for the emotional state I was in need Perfect place for walking and jogging morning and afternoon with beautiful water and Sunrise and Sunset times

Amazing Our room had a wonderful view Sidewalks everywhere quiet and secure to do long walks around the Jacksonville River I found a very good restaurant outside from the hotel that made my favorites dinner in townThe hotel have a Market place store right on front of the elevators I did not like the quality of sandwiches available in the market store but they had other items “on the go” options I love the berries parfait and lattes, just convenient for a quick bite I love the pool ambience and the gym in the same floor turning to be a perfect convenience I LOVE the hotel and I miss very much the 3 days stay was more than enough to wish to go back asap in the near future 💛🌹

The attendant was friendly and on point The bar/restaurant area was nice but we didn’t eat or drink on this stay nor did we use the pool area but it looked nice as well as did the grounds The issues were the smell in the hallways, and the room was very dated

Our shower had been badly cracked (24″ or more) and a very sloppy silicone patch was applied The shower pan was also very weak and felt as if it were ready to fall through I can definitely see why the halls have a funky smell The mattress springs could be felt when getting in and out of bed and my wife’s back bothered her all day after sleeping on it I would pass this location and go to the one at Jax beach We loved our stay there a few months ago

Would have given more stars but I want to be very clear about this

THE BEDS ARE HARD AS A ROCK Came into town for a couple days for a medical issues after sleeping on this bed we have decided to cancel our stay and head home In more pain then before we came If you want to sleep on a brick then this is the perfect placeEverything else was clean and fine

Matthew Buchanan

Pros:- Lobby and common areas maintained- Staff friendly- Breakfast was good valueCons:- Rooms and interior corridors were extremely dated and the room smelled strongly of a harsh cleaning chemical For $170 a night I expect more out of a Marriott property

Breakfast not included For the price it really should be Bottled water was not complimentary and the water coming out of the tap smelled like sulfur

The first room I was given smelled like people had been boarding dogs there 3 of the 4 lights had bulbs that were burnt out and they said they didn’t have any replacements The phone in the room did not work Stayed in a different room the next night with a 1PM late checkout requested Housekeeping started knocking on the door at 11AM and kept waking me up I work nights so that’s an issue Happened the first night too And finally, they shut the water off the second morning so no shower, toilet or water available when I got up Some of my crew was informed, but I was not Poor communication by staff Overall terrible stay☹️

1 star hotel Let’s start with the dirty handicapped room Hair all over the walls of the shower, mildew on soap dispenser’s, and mold in the shower roof

The sink had stains of either toothpaste or shaving cream The sink was broken at one point/damaged and they plastered the stupid sink instead of replacing it Absolute disgusting! Moving into the formal area and bed there was pieces of plaster from the roof on the sofa The area was Re-plastered with cracks all in the overhead roof by the sofa The ac control was broken on the wall had to manually figure out how to start and keep ac on which was achieved by keeping the fan on and on the auto setting which eventually turned on 20 minutes later The room had a mildew smell with a hint of tobacco smoke When I needed to use the office area in lobby to print, the entire stay the printer was out of ink despite asking staff to replace Laundry services was down and broken Before choosing to stay here, it was important to me they serve breakfast before reporting for my job at 07:30 I was told over the phone that during the WEEKEND the bistro opened at 6am (that was was a lie) Overall, better deal to stay at the best western down the road The Courtyard Orange Park Marriott was absolute garbage! Also, took many pictures please just ask and I will share them Any military staring orders at NAS Jax please use caution I will be reporting this hotel to DTS/SATO or whomever I need to report to The DoD needs to drop this contact
