The hotel was quiet, clean and the staff was helpful and available if you needed helpThe breakfast was hot and tasted goodDinner was great

The service was very good The waitress was polite no matter how many times you changed your order The Manager visited my table because I was cold, he moved our table and raised the heat It was a cold night in Georgia

Brandy Viles

Check in went great, friendly professional lady Weird smell everywhere in the building It was like the water was left in the carpet after cleaning

The suite was awesome as usual Set up is perfect for doing business while with family enjoying their space as well Unfortunately not the cleanest of locations Moldy shower and door and hand towel had stains The coverlet on the bed had stains Not what I would expect from Embassy Suites The managers reception and breakfast was great as usual with cheerful helpful staff Heads up for service dog travelers their was a hidden $75 charge added on check out receipt

I give a 5 star because overall it was a good stay I only had a couple concerns, one being it seemed that our room wasn’t cleaned very well before we got there It was hair on the bedroom and bathroom floors (not a crazy amount but had it been vacuumed and swept properly it would have come up)

Another thing was the obvious pee stains on the bathroom wall and door ( the toilet was so close the the wall and door I see how it could happen but gross someone needs wipe it) Lastly the pool, it was way too many people in the pool at the same time we were in there and it was uncomfortable being there my small children having so many others there at the same time It’s a sign saying up to 65 people allowed, 65 people is too many It was maybe 20 when I was there and that seemed crowdedThe things I did enjoy was the quiet stay, the walls didn’t seem to be thin like some hotels The customer service staff was excellent, friendly and helpful Majority clean and pleasant (just the minor things in our room but we are all human, it happens) The complimentary breakfast is a perk The close proximity of shopping and restaurants and activities and the highwayI would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others

The property is beautiful The staff is great The rooms are comfortable

I was there for 4 weeks, (different room, each week) For the most part an excellent experience I do feel they need to make better use of the facilities to generate better revenue Lounge hours are pretty minimal for the beautiful bar room they are under using The restaurant, Hamilton’s is only open for the breakfast buffet What? You could do so much more with this place! Nowfor the rest Pillows are terrible, the TV reception is awful Each room I stayed in, the TV lost signal exactly an hour into use Never to restore Every room smelled strongly of men’s aftershave upon arrival The breakfast buffet has serious temp issues Hot foods remain warm at best Dont hesitate to check cleanliness I didn’t realize it until I went to use it However there was a bunch of long black hairs all over the shower walls I mean I can see how things can get overlooked when rushed But, that was a bit much Other than these few strange things, the place was amazing Loved it!

Out of all the vendors, restaurants, venues, etc, this was the ONLY disappointment of our wedding weekendI’ll start with the positives: the hotel and suite were very nice looking, the breakfast was very good, and the servers were friendly

Now on to the bad We had been in contact and signed our hotel block contract with Debbie 11 months ahead of time She promised us several things that apparently turned out not to be true (these were not in writing, so shame on us for that)- We were promised that we could increase the size of our hotel block whenever we wanted; turns out that’s not true- We were promised that if we booked x% of our hotel block that we would be given our suite for free; turns out that was not true- We were promised to have a private room for breakfast for all our guests; turns out that’s not true unless we paid a significant fee for it- At a certain point Debbie stopped responding to any and all of our attempts to reach out, and when we finally got a hold of somebody else at the hotel we were told that Debbie had retired After explaining everything that Debbie had told us, the new staff essentially said they didn’t promise it and that’s not how it works so tough luck The only consolation that we got from the hotel was after my wife going back and forth with them, they were gracious enough to give us a suite for the same cost as the block and not full priceFor a company in the hospitality industry, this was the worst customer service we’ve experienced and do not recommend using them

Jennifer Waldeck

The property is very pretty and the room was comfortable with a golf course view However, there is nothing to to eat here between breakfast and dinner And front desk staff JORGE couldn’t care less

Customer service abysmal in this regard Sent me next door to a golf grill that didn’t even appear to have table servicea snack bar And it was closed for a private event I went back to front desk and he wanted to argue with me that he had no way of knowing that Well when the only option on the property for food is closed for a private event and that’s where the front desk is sending people, I feel like they need to make it their business to know The pro shop was suggested the perhaps I could find a bag of chips there Or the so-called pantry which also had chips and day-old boxed salads This is completely unacceptable and the attitude at the front desk was worse They acted like this is completely normal and that the expectation that a guest would be able to find lunch in a huge, full-service resort hotel seemed unreasonable to them I might as well have stayed at a lower end Hilton Garden Inn

No microwave in the room there’s one in the lobby Staff is friendly and professional Check in was quick The rooms are nice The breakfast was good I would stay here again I’ve been a lot of places and have seen worse

The rooms were very clean and the bed was so comfortable In a great area of town away from the craziness of downtown The evening staff was very nice but the morning staff was not so friendly

The bar was nice but the drinks are all mostly bottom shelf liquors and cheap beer Parking was easy and accessible Pretty good complimentary breakfast as well Better than most hotels I’ve stayed at I would definitely stay here again

Victoria Stafford

Overall, I was pleased with our night at the embassy Check in was smooth, the room was fine, customer service was great, and the amenities were adequateCons:-The pool needed a deep clean… like bad

-The parking situation is kind of a headache-We both definitely got sick from the dinner or breakfast and changed our entire vacation schedule around where the closest bathroom was… EekPros:-Front desk staff & breakfast staff were very accommodating and kind!-The soaps in the room were great-Proximity to everything was superb!-Breakfast was super tasty

Timekia Palmer

The hotel is located in a great location The size of the hotel is large Good size rooms

Breakfast is so worth it, good selection and made to order omelets and French toast The negatives are the pool/jacuzzi ares were dirty The rooms were not the most clean, our refrigerator had hair in it And overall it was a little dated But not the worst hotel

Rooms were very clean They have a pool so my kids could swim and get tired out I did forget my toothbrush and they provide complimentary items that we forget

They also have a decent continental breakfast The ladies there to help were fantastic with my kiddos Every time we go through Atlanta, we stay here It’s a little outside of Atlanta in Marietta but it is in a good neighborhood

Xander Cheney

Room floor was dirty Had to get wipes to clean it Shower had mold spots

Or old mold stains Housekeeper was in such a hurry she just threw the bags in the trash Unopened The thermostat is completely broken leaving your guessing the temp I had to get up countless times and adjust in the middle of the night Also This was an up charged premium room That I was told will be refunded But I can safely assume that was a lie made by the girl at the front desk Basically guaranteed I’ll never come back to this hotel There are so many better options in Atlanta And for the same price!!! Honestly Go to Hampton six flags in lithia springs Seriously

Francina Trimble

I had reserved a handicapped room and was assured this is what I was to have upon my arrival I arrived after 6pm and the hotel clerk present was a girl, that stated their were no rooms available handicapped She gave me what was available (king-size bed)room , even though I had a reservation

I was very uncomfortable and bathroom was very difficult to useI contacted customer service team, which told me to speak with Mgr on duty ,MrDon and Brian ( very nice ppl) made a difference in the price for the inconvenience of the roomThe young lady was very rude and unconcerned (walking away constantly)of my issues with the room not being handicapped She needs to be trained better for customer service I also feel the room that was reserved for us was given to someone that had arrived earlier The hotel was very clean overall

While I didn’t care much for the rooms by the elevator and exterior doors on the bottom level, I did appreciate the people at the hotel that realized that we were paying too much for the rooms and adjusted both of them to a better rate The staff was courteous and helpful, all while the hotel was packed with youth baseball, soccer, and lacrosse teams and families I’d recommend staying there and would stay there again in the future

Tastefully renovated, modern, clean, and comfortable

Mica E

We booked our room the same day When we got there, they only had a handicapped room available; they did give us the option to wait for another room to become available, but we decided to just go ahead and get that room The bed was very comfortable the bathroom very clean, and nice balcony however it was too cold for us to enjoy it

Kynadi is amazing from check-in to check out She not only checked in with us to make sure everything was going perfectly She had the extra towels sent up right away and when we had an issue with the TV that was fixed right away All in all, we will be back, and this is a great hotel to stay at

Debbie McNabb

We are traveling with our whole family and I booked 2 rooms with 2 queen beds each This hotel had a funny smell We found a cockroach as soon as we walked in the bathroom

We went back to the front desk to tell him and he looked at us like a deer in the headlights We got moved to another room that had a king bed and pull out couch The pull out was a TWIN for 2 adults We looked the room over and didn’t see any bugs so we went to sleep The next morning my daughter in law found a roach in her bag! They would not give us a refund and neither would Priceline Not happy at all with this hotel or experience

It was JUST OKAYThis was not a good experiencePros: Conveniently located off I-20

Nice lobby Great water pressure for bathingUnfortunately the cons outweigh the pros:First, Im a no smoker and had to request a room change because of the heavy smell of marijuana filling the hallway and eventually my room The next days, I woke to the strong smell of cigar smoke in my room in this “nonsmoking”facilityThis hotel is on one of the busiest parkways in Atlanta Traffic is nonstop and at a high rate of speed There are no sidewalks so walking across the street to the convention center or mall is not safe There is a walk bridge but you have to leave the property to get to it The service elevator to the road leading to the bridge was down, however; so be prepared if you are planning to shop and carry back heavy itemsAlso, I was advised after the fact that you now have to request housekeeping services for your room to be tended “because of the pandemic”

Todd Weingeroff

The rooms were fresh and clean Service staff was very friendly and supper responsive Breakfast team knocked it out of the park

Remembering our tables coffee order ever day Front desk was supper Location is great for getting to a Braves game The Cumberland mall is a bit dated but good meal options No safe way to cross the street from the hotel parking garage to the mall so be careful The Galleria mall is ready to be used as a 1980s horror movie set 1989 called and said to stop using their style

Patrick Labbett

We had some issues, but overall the hotel service was good! The vanity mirror had a frayed cord and caused a spark, and they shut off the water and elevators without notice on 1 day of our 5 night stay for maintenance We probably wouldn’t have noticed except my wife was in the shower at the time and then couldn’t get downstairs from the 16th floor to ask about the water The lobby is nicer than the rooms, which could use a renovation, but were otherwise fine

Use the garage elevator to the mall to access the walkway across to The Battery – it’s a pleasant walk

We stayed for two nights to see the Angels play the Braves Convenient location off the interstate, has plenty of places to eat and get gas nearby, and is close to the stadium We had a minor problem with our room and Keith made sure to take care of that for us

His kindness was much appreciated! Our only complaints are about housekeeping and breakfast Every time they went into a room to clean it on the first floor, the door was slammed All day long! Breakfast on the second day was not as good as our first morning there They ran out of eggs and coffee by 8:45 am Would definitely stay here again Great stay for the price

Christopher Nesbit

Was a bit hard to find probably because it’s a new site and GPS hasn’t been updated For those who are lost, turn by the racetrac With that said, it’s nice having a convenient store close by

The hotel itself is new and fresh Really nice rooms The staff is friendly as well I’ll definitely stay here again I won’t take advantage of the indoor pool bit it looks really inviting

TC Gurus

Solid 3 maybe 35 stars, Google still won’t allow us to rate half stars! Nice staff, my room was clean but some of the common areas weren’t as clean as I would like The elevator was a little scary sounding to only be 1 yr old! The desk or lack thereof one in the room was a big deal to me

Made it difficult to work There is a table and hard heavy furniture chair, not a desk chair and desk area like most Fairfield properties Otherwise nice, mostly quiet, and safe hotel

The staff was very attentive and polite:-) the manager went out of her way to make it feel like home and feel like you’re around friends and family They knew us by name and always addressed as is Mr and Mrs Whited The rooms were nice and clean as well as the hotel

I would highly recommend this place and is well worth the price I wished all hotels would treat us as well as this hotel did in future stays I just never found the customer service and friendliness in its staff as I did at the Hyatt House Thank you guys for a wonderful stay and look forward to seeing you guys again:-) keep up the Great customer service:-)

teonna salisbury

All of the staff were friendly EXCEPT one girl at the front desk when we were checking in There were 2 girls there, one was friendly and welcoming, the other was very short with us and rude The rooms weren’t horrible but felt like they needed to be cleaned better

Also, this hotel puts a $50 charge on your card for incidentals I work at a hotel and have plenty of experience with the different hotels in my area…none of them ever charge that much Usually only $10-$20 It was a decent place for us to stop for a couple hours to sleep but would never come here again

Kelley Villegas

One star only because of the staff being very nice If you come here, bring ear plugs The noise from the highway is constant all night long (you feel like you’re parked on the highway and here comes a Mack truck followed by a police sirens all night)

Also bring pillows Their pillows feel like they have rocks in them I also found that the pillow case was not clean and had mascara stains on it It does have a pool table and a nice sitting area outside, if you enjoy the sounds of the highway

Me and my friend came down for my birthday and the hotel was good Our hotel from had minor issues but overall is was great The hot water was very hot which we loved! The hotel would have been five stars if it wasn’t for the shuttle driver PERRY demanding a tip and going off on us during our shuttle ride

He was very unprofessional and rude We were going to tip him but he had an attitude at the end of our ride Overall our stay was great The valet guys Chase & Bryce were very nice and helpful!

Kenneth Davis

Beautiful ambience upon entering the hotel  The lobby is lined with full plank timbers, and Atlanta Braves motif everywhere  Asthmatic guests beware: the lobby is heavily perfumed with air fresheners

Open expansive bar near the lobby  Perfect atmosphere for a get together Bar has opening hour for 5:00 PM, but we were here when the Braves were playing and the bar was open by 3:30 PMCheck in time is 4:00 PM, but our room was not ready until  4:33 PM Turns out that Platinum and Gold members can check out as late as 4:00 PM This really sucks when you are rushed trying to get ready to go to the baseball gameHotel charges$15/ day for parkingThe hotel has a courtesy van that shuttles guest to and from the baseball stadium, but the walk over is about a mile with good sidewalksRooms nice,  clean with OK plenty of space Traffic noise from Interstate was loud Our room was on the side facing the Interstate

Greg Grimes

The rooms are always neat and a very high quality and nicely laid out This one has a very nice lounge area and a beautiful hotel lobby There is a very extensive workout facility downstairs and I even believe there’s a pool down there

It must be reasonably priced because you th sporting teams come stay there quite a lot It is also very close to truest Park stadium in the battery

Nice hotel, Mali and Kim took care of all my requests, they were really responsive and kind The hotel room was fine, similar to other Hilton rooms, however I called for laundry service once and they didn’t have one I would expect from a Hilton hotel to offer laundry service, specially if I’m attending meetings all week

That’s something the hotel needs to improve Breakfast was poor from my perspective

Felecia Williamson

My husband and I stayed here over the weekend; our experience was wonderful!! We arrived at 2:00 in the morning We were exhausted from our drive and so hungry We were met by Jade and Venness at the front desk and they saved our night! They were so accommodating and made all attempts to get us into our room quickly so we could get some rest

They both were so kind and helpful and presented such sweet spirits which made our difficult night so much better! The next morning we woke up and went to the front desk with questions about the area and Cody and Mali went above and beyond to give us information about the local area and gave input on where to find good food They were so fun to talk with and made our stay so enjoyable with their helpful, outgoing personalities All I can say is that this hotel has some amazing staff members!! These ladies go beyond the call of duty to ensure guests feel welcome and comfortable Thank you, Jade, Venness, Cody, and Mali for making our trip amazing!! We will be returning due to how awesome you made our trip!!

Juliana Tosello

Parking was free The bar/dining room was closed due to Covid We did have to pay for a muffin and coffee downstairs but there is a coffee maker and mini fridge in the room plus a microwave downstairs Computers and a printer to use if you need to Very good location

I stayed here on May 21st, 2022This is not my first time staying at a Sonesta so I expected great service of courseThe room was CLEAN & COMFY 🤩 and that’s typically my main concern with hotels

the roommss! But these were niceRooms are not large but I’d take small and clean over large and dirty any day ☺️It was also very quiet during my stayThe young black girl at the front desk was very sweet and helpful with explaining parking, etc I didn’t go to the pool but mistakenly ended up on the pool floor trying to find parking and it was niceAlso parking was only $9 I’d definitely stay here again 😁

Billy Wilson

The property itself was great The hotel and room were nice Besides the sorry excuse for a pillow (read further), the hotel itself was as billed and excellent

ButThe staff needs to cheer up Every customer interaction we saw (including ours) was met with reluctance and disgust They obviously did not want to be at work, and the guests suffered for it I called 5 days in advance to confirm our room, and was met with a very unenthusiastic employee who said we were set for two queen beds as ordered Upon arrival, we were given the wrong room, and politely asked what our options were Another unhelpful employee told they were sold out and “could either stay in that room or go somewhere else” We opted to stay, but we had 4 lousy (and I mean terrible these things sucked) pillows for 4 guests We asked for a couple more and were told they had none Really? You mean a hotel has no backup pillows?Later that evening we decided we’d go swimming The pool sign states they are open 6-11 But, the doors were chained up Again, we asked politely why the pool wasn’t open yet and they said “uhhh the hours are 11-8” At this point, I was frustrated and stated “well that’s not what the sign says,” to which I was told “we used to have a sign but someone took it down”Apparently this place has exactly one pillow per person and no one proactive enough to print off a sheet of paper to alert guests they’ve (very randomly) changed their pool hours Finally at checkout, I was greeted with a smile and a hello for the first time, so I went to that employee’s desk, but one of the rude employees cut the nice one off, called me over to her desk and made sure to send me off with a few final scowls for good measure

Have stayed here twice for soccer tournament in the area Not particularly close to fields, but im picky about hotels rooms and safety precautions Clean rooms and comfortable beds

Did find wrappers and items left by previous guests which made me wonder about how well cleaned my room was before this stay Small indoor/outdoor pool was perfect for the boys between matches Complementary breakfast is okay The boys enjoyed the waffles, and the coffee was good One of the employees at the front desk (manager?) was not overly friendly, but we enjoyed our stay

Our stay was good here! The room was spacious and it was nice it had a bigger fridge with an actual freezer The room was clean and the breakfast was good I felt judged when asking for more toilet paper and towels, but when you stay there multiple nights you need that stuff

We were disappointed at the reduced hours for the pool We picked this hotel because of the pool The one time we got to use it we used the outdoor part and it looked very run down We didn’t check out the indoor part, again because of limited hours The staffing checking us in and checking us out were not very friendly or welcoming Overall the location was good for what we were doing, the hotel is solid and we couldn’t hear anything outside of our room, the room was good, and the breakfast was nice

Big Kuntry

This is my 3rd time staying at this location I haven’t had any issues except the digital key didn’t work on the main door but other than that everything was great Clean room, safe parking, quiet location

All of the staff was friendly especially Mrs Marie, a real sweetheart and very professional I’ll definitely book here again in the future

I was scared at first due to reading some of the other reviews, but I’m glad my husband and I stayed here We checked in after Midnight with no problems Our room was very clean and I didn’t see anything out of the ordinary

We even brought cleaning products with us to be prepared, but our wipes picked up nothing We slept great after that great detail The only con was my digital card never worked, but I was given cards as a heads up at check in by the night staff Will be coming back when we return to Georgia Oh and the towels are soft which was a first for me at a hotel

Minnieme Mvrde

This is my first visit to Atlanta and it was for business so the company had already made the reservations It’s a old hotel and needs some upgrades I have absolutely no complaints

The room was clean in every way The AC worked good and although the carpets are old, I don’t have an issue because I only walk on them The front desk had young staff and they where very professional and helpful when I had questions The breakfast was very good, simple but very tasty I had to thank the cook because she was in the area Super nice people 👌

If I could give them negative stars, I would! We booked a room weeks ago and when we checked in, we were given a room with no heat When we requested to have someone fix the issue or be moved to another room they said they were overbooked and could just offer us more blankets We asked that they contact maintenance to fix the problem or get a manager they said that they could not because they were gone for the day

It was before 8pm, we asked to have them either find us another room at their facility or another nearby but they said they could not Our daughter had to call multiple times and was ignored, put on hold and hung up on We had to go downstairs and argue with them until they finally agreed to call the hotel manager, of course, after we threatened to sue and they threatened to call the cops When manager got involved they were then finally able to find another room for us They have horrible customer service and do not deserve your business Stay away from this hotel When I travel I always look for Hampton Inns, this experience will definitely make me think twice before I stay at another Hampton All of this due to one location who is unable to treat their guests with respect and provide appropriate customer service

Great location- Easy to get into the city, but out of the way of heavy traffic and parking issues Six flags white water is 10 min down the road The staff were so friendly and helpful

Rooms were clean and spacious They don’t have microwaves or mini fridges, and the interior of the hotel is outdated but that wasn’t a huge issue for us The breakfast buffet is phenomenal Every breakfast food you can imagine The evening kickback was amazing 3 alcoholic beverages, unlimited soft drinks and coffee, and enough food options to make a meal all included in the price of the room We will definitely be staying again on our next Atlanta trip

J C

The staff is incredible! The motel itself is descent enough nothing special The staff makes the place Stacy The manager is AMAZING, and everyone in the food area is AMAZING! I travel all the time and have been to literally hundreds of motels and never in my life have I seen a TEAM of employees put together like this!My business has brought me to Florida today and I am actually going out of my way and hitting an auto auction in Atlanta partially because I want to stay there again

Big thanks to the staff!!!! YOU ALL ARE AMAZING!

Excellent location for a trip to a Braves game

a little over a mile and an easy walk The pool area is top-notch, and the lobby has ample comfy couches and chairs The coffee bar in the lobby is also nice, with a variety of options for food and drinks The service was very good too Our only issues were the sightings of multiple cockroaches inside the hotel, including one in our room, and the handicap access room we were given at checkin We didn’t know it was a wheelchair accessible room until we got in there, and it wasn’t an issue except for the shower It would’ve been nice to know we were getting this type of room, and an explanation whyand a discussion of other options for us That being said, we’d likely stay there again for another Braves game

Loved the place from check in to check out! Service was A1 and so was the facility The price was great and it had a balcony which we liked Only things i didn’t like was we booked a king with sofa bed and was given a double room and beds were small and there was no microwave in our room, but we lived lol

Would definitely stay there again and again!

This was on of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in We were there for my sons baseball tournament for over a week and never once did they clean our room or bring us clean sheets even after requesting serveral times a day I had to go to the front desk to finally get clean towels myself

The ceiling had moisture in the corner and there were clearly brown water spots all over our room The ice machine never worked so we kept having to bug the sweet lady at the front desk The Bistro Cafe and bar that they advertise was never open and we were sadly told to go to the hotel next door for food and drinks if we wanted that option If I could give a negative star rating I would The only thing positive I can honestly say about this hotel was the ladies at the front desk were very friendly despite all the complaints they kept receiving from all the guests about the broken ice machine and for not getting their rooms clean or clean towels either It wasn’t just us I never ever complain but this one deserves to be out there to warn people not to waste their money staying here when there are far better and much nicer options in the area for close to the same price Our other families stayed at a Fairfield Inn and said their place was so much nicer than our hotel It’s so disappointing that we got stuck staying here and couldn’t change hotels because of the huge tournament that week Trust me we tried to find another place to stay They don’t hesitate charging full rate for no services or amenities whatsoever

We stayed last night here and the staff was so very friendly The hotel itself was very clean Our room was set up nicely for watching football as they have a chair and footstool

We had a refrigerator, microwave king size bed and walk in shower Close to a couple restaurants and options for deliveryThe complimentary breakfast was set up nicely and eggs and sausages were good!!I would definitely stay here again

Nisha

I liked this hotel and the staff was nice when I first got there, but after a couple days, I could feel as if I wasn’t wanted there I would book my room the night before to help me save money and I worked overnights dancing I was staying there until I was able to find my own place

These people put me on the do not rent list I never smoked in that room, never was loud, and I made sure that room was cleaned before I had left The manager would ask if I needed housekeeping and I said no only because I was barely there and I danced overnights I didn’t have much time to clean during my stay, so I refused housekeeping I’m not sure if they went in my room while I was gone However, I made sure that room was cleaned before I had checked out And I left them a nice review on Expedia but I’m taking it back

Bobbi C

Hotel isn’t much to look at from the outside but the room was very nice They have up to date amenities and a very nice breakfast with eggs, sausage, gravy etc Wifi works very good in comparison to some hotels

Although we weren’t going to use it, the pool was not “in service” It obviously has not been cleaned or prepped for use this year The bathroom is small and has a sliding door (which is kinda weird) but has a walk in shower and the water pressure is amazing
