This hotel went above my expectations I hadn’t stayed at a Choice hotel before, nor heard anything special about them The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful, and professional

The hotel is clean, spacious, and safe-with great nighttime lighting in the parking lot Checking in and out was super easy, too!Our corner suite room was spacious and clean The only thing I’d recommend to the hotel is to add more furniture, including a table in the large room foyer, another cushion seat in the living area, and maybe a coffee table in the kitchen area The bathroom was spacious and clean

B W

The staff were superb! Very friendly and welcoming They acknowledged us each time we were in their presence I wished they had a complimentary breakfast like other Choice hotels; however, the comfort of the bed outweighed the breakfast available

We loved the setup of the room and could tell it was a newer hotel All the amenities that you would need were available We were even able to get laundry soap complementary, which was a blessing because we had run out of what we had brought along with us The washer and dryer were surprisingly a decent price and it was convenient to the gym with a TV to wait

Melissa Rowe

Not only was the hotel very clean and equipped with all the amenity’s but the staff was exceptionally friendly especially Ms Von!!! She was such a pleasure Ms

Von always had a smile on her face and willing to help with anything we needed Ms Von made it feel like I was walking into a relatives home every time I walked through the doors

I have stayed in every kind of hotel from 1 star to 5 stars This was by far the best experience I have had at a hotel The hotel was what I expected for the price but the staff

the staff was unbelievable They made my stay so comfortable and convenient I’m the type of person who looks for flaws when I spend a lot of money My wife says I complain too much Not only did I have no complaints, I was impressed Way above and beyond The breakfast selection was fresh and satisfying The bar had a cool vibe, the pool was clean and warm The kids couldn’t wait to get back to the hotel I never leave reviews, so if you book this hotel you will be extremely satisfied with your choice!

I have been meaning to get around and leave a review but I am little behind My mother and I stayed at this location for a family event in February this year It was a phenomenal experience

The staff here always goes above and beyond, the location is always extremely clean, and the coffee is amazing On this particular visit my mother had to have assistance and needed help back to the room Michele assisted my mother and got her all the way back to our room and was so kind about it My mom couldn’t stop talking about how she had not made her feel bad at all for asking for help It was a great show of compassion and empathy on Michele’s part and we were grateful for the interaction Great place I definitely recommend!

Courtney Duskin

I was extremely impressed by this hotel! So clean, so we’ll managed, and pretty quiet :)!Really tiny gym and laundry on site for convenience Used the laundry with the help of the desk giving us a few dollars of changeFantastic breakfast!Would definitely stay here again when in the area

Karla Gutierrez Carreon

This is definitely not dog friendly, they didn’t let us leave the dogs alone for a few minutes they had to call us back to the hotel just because they barked Our dogs have good behaviorits just that At the time, someone went passed our room and called the front desk Too: The front desk lady is rude

Three: the bathroom curtain was full with mold And the room service didn’t sweep the floor For: the elevator was very dirty, I could see hand prints

Jeff Mason

Nice hotel with large rooms and a convenient location in Mount Pleasant The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rates are normally reasonable They serve a very good hot breakfast every day to start the day out right

They still have daily room service whereas most hotels quit doing that since the pandemicThis hotel could use some upgrades as the rooms don’t have smart TVs and they are rather small by today’s standards Cheers!

Rosie HK

Overall this was a nice hotel The room was very spacious with AC and heating – the weather in Charleston was fluctuating everyday The bed was super comfortable and I really like how big the shower was

The only reason I’m giving 4/5 is because of the front desk person the first day (long oversized pink nails) We arrived masked while no one else was She was talking to a guest (both unmasked) while we waited patiently to the side She then told us in the rudest way possible to move back 6 ft I thought that’s rich coming from someone who is about 1 ft from someone unmasked It was our turn and while she was quite pleasant to the person before, she was cold and terse giving us our room key And then someone else comes, stands directly behind us and she says nothing Not sure what her issue was but was not how we wanted to start our vacationStill love Charleston!

Fran McDermott

Had a very enjoyable three night stay The room was nice and the beds very comfortable The staff was very accommodating

We really enjoyed the breakfast Delicious food and a great variety The breakfast host was vibrant, helpful, enthusiastic and extremely pleasant and friendly and made the breakfast an outstanding experience Thank you!

Stayed 5 days while in town for a baseball tournament It was really comfortable I appreciated the extra space

The pool was a little snack for larger groups With all the kids we had there wasn’t much room for anyone else to swim They have propane grills which is nice! Across from shops and restaurants Laundry room and fitness center Overall we were happy and would stay here again

Karen Ellerbe

I was not impressed with the room at all When we entered, the shower floor was dirty Hair was all over the bathroom floor and in the shower

After I cleaned it, I took the most awkward shower ever The shower head was put in for someone tall and it could not be adjusted The top floor was rowdy all nightevery night This particular room may need a dehumidifier, as wellOn a positive note, the front desk clerks were always cheerful and helpful The location is perfect because it is in close proximity to Starbucks, shopping malls, and restaurants in Mt Pleasant

Andy F

Felt at home here Proper kitchen and refrigerator+freezer and lots of space Also close by to lots of good restaurants and shops in Mt Pleasant

Gym is sufficient for 3-Star hotelWifi also worked great for videoconferencingOnly improvement area is you have to explicitly ask for them to clean your bathroom AND bed each day, or they won’t clean either There were some times they cleaned the bathroom without cleaning the rest of the room But very responsive and consistent when you ask them to do it, including respecting the times you ask them to clean

Meagan Patrick

The hotel was very clean and the staff was super nice As far as the rooms go, the beds are super comfy and the bathroom was a pretty decent size I definitely agree with people saying it’s very minimal, yet elegant

This describes the hotel perfectly! The only complaint I had was that their food quality was kinda low for my expectations of such a nice hotel The bartender also failed to tell me there was an $11 extra charge to add something to my drink, so I paid $26 for a cocktail that was mediocre at best I couldn’t even finish it

Tolu Olagbaju

Great food at Eliza bar for dinner and Jen was a great bartender She made some great recommendations for our trip into the city Breakfast was delicious with gluten free options and amazing hash browns

Chelsea was amazing and really helped me sub-out options for my needs Great service from the waitress Nice rooms with comfortable beds and very nice showers The furniture is super cute and well made with lots of space to put away our clothes There is a heated pool which is nice since we came here in FebruaryOnly complaint was the room doors slam very loudly so you could hear people coming and going It did not wake me up at night thoughI would come out here again Front desk staff was kind and friendly and Cotea was always ready to help me with every request I made Everyone was kine and even the maintenance man said hello

Melinda Heath

We stayed for the weekend while we were in town, the staff was very friendly and accommodating It’s nice and quiet and just a short drive into town The bathrooms were probably some of the cleanest hotel bathrooms we’ve ever seen

The rooms were very cute and very clean The pool area was picture perfect! our only complaint was the bed and pillows were the worst bed we’ve ever slept on For the price of the hotel we expected a better bed than what we sleep on at holiday inn express

These adorable, well decorated cottages are right on the harbor, taking advantage of the cooling breezes There are two bedrooms with lovely ensuite baths on each end, which makes it super private for two couples PLUS an extra full bath off the kitchen

Everything we needed was right there We loved sitting on the screen porch watching the ships go by Very nice pool with sitting area and ocean view Lisa and staff were super helpful Highly recommend this great place!

Jonathan Brown

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottages We immediately started planning to return after one night of a 9 night stay The view was amazing and we utilized the screened in porch morning noon and night

We loved to watch the barges and many boats go by us and the tides in the ocean You have the option to order your groceries ahead of time to eliminate a trip to the store before check in We also liked the option of ordering sandwichs, chocolates, and croissants to be in the cabin when we arrived The location is great with the resort next door if you want to hang out there to eat or enjoy the live music on Friday nights Patrots point is a 5 minute walk for the tourist boats and Mount Pleasant is minutes away for shopping and more restaurants Lisa and the office staff is very friendly and helpful if you need anything or have questions about the area Would highly recommend

J G

I’m on my last day here sadly…love it here! Cottages are beautiful Extremely clean and beautifully decorated

They really have thought of everything Bose, games, movies, w/d, binoculars…etc the views are spectacular from all the houses Rented a boat everyday right around the corner Water taxi to Charleston short walk away Perfect launching point to everywhere in the Charleston area Pool is lovely with umbrellas, music playing, sofas lounges etc Staff very nice maintenance on top of things Mt Pleasant is the perfect location close to Charleston without all the tourists Amazing restaurants and amenities minutes away Could not have been better! The location was great as we were a few minutes from everywhere we went The staff were super friendly and very helpful with directions, suggestions for things to do in the area, and addressing any issues We had the two bedroom suite

The only knock I have are there aren’t dressers in the rooms for clothes if you don’t want to keep your stuff in your suitcase for your stay Great place at a good price!

Beans

A great hotel with all the facilities you need There is a laundry room which is free to use, and a fitness center Although breakfast is not included, there is food that can be purchased for your room

Rooms are comfortable and a good size Staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay Parking is limited on site but there is an overflow carpark available if necessary Driving distance from attractions On the whole the room was clean, although there were areas of the shower around the door that could do with attention

Donna Cline

Stayed there for 13 weeks on a healthcare worker travel assignment The employees were TOTALLY AWESOME! Very pleasant and very helpful They made it such a great stay

It’s a lovely property, I was here with friends and family and there was a great outside gathering place with plenty of tables and chairs Rooms were nice, a bit small, we had two queen beds which were comfortable Nice pool area, access to downtown by water taxi and or shuttle

Fish House restaurant was great, food was good and servers were fun and efficient! There’s other bars on the property but we did not go to any of them I Would highly recommend this place

Stephenie Young

Quiet resort, nice to be across from downtown, while easily accessible Nice to use both this and the Beach Club amenities Food was good at restaurants (Fish House the best of all of them)

Pools were clean, water was refreshing, but not freezing The shuttle was always on time and the water taxi, while a few minutes behind, was the perfect way to get back and forth from town Room was upgraded from what I booked, a pleasant surprise Beautiful view and balcony Would definitely stay again

Jenn Deloach

Just got back and loved loved loved it We went at a busy time and it wasn’t crowded Didn’t have to fight for pool spots

I was traveling with my husband and 3 year old son and the entire stay including the hotel room were outstanding Octavia and Angel made a delicious breakfast every morning that had so many delicious options from omelette with sausage to pancakes and oatmeal to name just a few One of the best breakfasts we’ve had at an IHG or Marriott hotel The hotel room is really spacious and the king size bed was very comfortable Thank you Logan, Octavia, Angel and the entire team at this StayBridge Suites in Mt Pleasant for an excellent multi-night stay!

I am an IHG platinum elite members and have stayed at different IHG hotels over the last 20 years This hotel and stay at the end of Jan 2022 was my favorite in the last 3 years Why? I usually check in for work but this time I checked in for a family trip with my wife and 3 year old son, Patrick

Miles at the front desk was super friendly and kind although we checked in late at night and my son was throwing a tantrum He also gave us an excellent room without even asking The next morning, Gigi, was also very friendly and helpful at the front desk Griffin, who was preparing breakfast, made fresh pancakes just did us 10 minutes before the free breakfast closed at 11 AM And Ebony from the cleaning team was also very responsive and helpful with anything we needed in the morning We were also impressed with how clean and spacious our room was and how clean the entire hotel is Definitely one of my best stays at an IHG hotel over the last 20 years Thank you Miles, Gigi, Griffin and Ebony for working here!

Gold Elite member here Stayed 2 days here to visit Charleston Some of the staff were very nice but didn’t have a great experience

The reason for the 1 star is multiple reasons (1) It started when I was trying to book the room online with my AAA card The website showed one rate but refused to book it I called the hotel and they said they would leave a note for management They adjusted it but didn’t lower it to the rate that was online (2) We are paying 250/night for a courtyard When we checked in, the front desk staff was great and super nice but our room completely smelled of a heavy cleaning solution and caused headaches They couldn’t switch us because no rooms were available (understandable) but no discount or other solution was offered It did go away on our second day (3) Our hotel room had only 3 towels for a double queen room sleeping 4 When cleaning staff came into our room, they still left 3 towels Our beds were not made and only trash was taken out (4) Our AC isn’t working properly when we got back into the room on a cool 77 degree night I called the front desk and they sent somebody up but and he basically stood 6 inches from the AC and said it’s blowing cool and nothing he could do He didn’t even check the AC temp with a temp gun and basically didn’t even bother to check the system, filter or anything I lifted up the flap on the actual unit and wiring was exposed with no protected plate I am beyond upset and disappointed at this service for the rate and not up to Marriott standards

Mike K

Was trying to find a place in historic Charleston and found the prices in the $300 range Only planned on staying a night and looked for other options Found the Courtyard by Marriott Mount Pleasant online

It’s about 15 min from downtown and at a great price of $141 The staff was excellent at check-in Rooms were spacious and very clean This is a great option if your not wanting to spend a lot and still be close to historic Charleston

Zuri Gebert

1 Completely unacceptable to receive a confirmation with one price and then receive a notification that your credit card was charged a different charge and when you ask the difference in price

no one can tell you a reason (Spoke with at least 4 different people and no one could explain to us why we charged over)2 Went to use the iron/ironing board and the ironing board was in pieces and broken3 The bathroom door wouldn’t lock the lock wasn’t even lined up correctly to the frame4 There was a youth baseball group there for a tournament, so all night there were kids slamming doors and running down the halls5 We asked and were approved for a late check out (3pm), we leave for a military ceremomy, planning to come back to shower and check outour keys no longer work Speak with front desk and she tells us no one changed our check out to a later time (She was wonderful tho! Super sweet and helpful)-The hotel is a great location but not worth the hassle in my opinion

This location is always quiet, the rooms are always immaculate, the amenities are great, and the breakfast is fresh But seriously the staff is really what makes this place The front desk, housekeeping, and the gals that always do breakfast are always the friendliest people They really make the visits so much more pleasant This will continue to be our go-to location when in the area

Excellent! Rooms are clean, beds comfortable, breakfast is actually very good The cheese omelets and sausage tasty not just edible Cinnamon rolls are very good, kinda like a crossaint roll

I feel like I cannot say enough good things about this hotel Came into town for a girls trip with a friend and we stayed here for just about a week The location of the hotel was great for all we wanted to do

It’s about 10 minutes from Isle of Palms Beach, 25 to downtown Charleston, 30 from the airport, and there’s restaurants (open late) within walking distance We felt very safe in the area and at the hotel Our room was very clean so was the entire hotel, we always saw staff cleaning some part Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful The breakfast guy during the week made our stay! I can’t remember his name, but he was extremely friendly, made us feel right at home, said good morning to us each day and thanked us for coming down, he made some great food too! The banana nut waffles were amazing, my breakfast will never be the same Overall I’d give this hotel a high rating and would definitely stay again and reccomend to anyone looking for a good, clean, safe, and budget friendly hotel

Check in was painful on Sunday 7/17It seems that the Embassy Hilton Mt Pleasant SC is short staffed that is what we were told by the staff working Guest were lined up in the lobby while the check in desk was trying their best 4 o’clock check in never happened We had to downgrade our reservation to get into suite which was on the first floor pool side around 5

30 pm I understand that children away from home and parents are looking to enjoy the property the pool was still going strong at 11pm an hour after closing making for a loud stay that first night in a room that we settled forOur room was clean although the linens and towels seemed damp like they never finished in the rinse cycle during washing The happy hour on Sunday was filled with guest that still had not checked into a room some waited to after 7 pm to get settledThe happy hour chips, salsa and some cut up veggies went fast as families with children fed them first then parents waited on the long line for a cocktail Nothing special beer wine and mixed drinks the snacks not a selling pointThe bartender explained that there were issues with help and apologized he was the only person on staff that did , a very nice fellow working hard Breakfast was the best part of the stay the staff was nice and efficient the coffee was hot and goodWe chose to check out a day early as after a long day in Charleston we returned for happy hour Monday before heading out for diner Being served was warm cubed cheese and some little toast both were unappetizing with the same goldfish pretzel mix dispensers getting a work outWe have stayed at Hilton properties many many times in the past always our first choice, while making the reservations we finally got the Hilton honors thing worked out this time and were awarded points for our last stays this year– all other stays were lostThe hotel itself is very nice it is brand new we were told while making the reservations on the phone We never received a email confirming our stay I had to call the hotel to confirm directlyThere are always little issues with any stay away from home the staff Sunday here were in over their heads While checking out a day early there was only one attendant who was polite but did not ask us why we were leavingI did inquire why the room rate was increased for weekday stay over the weekend rates I was told it gets more expensive each day during the week of your stay even booked in advance that was a new experienceThis hotel is located in a great location for getting around into the downtown area called the French Quarter The property has good parking , you will need to remind the staff if you are handicapped not to charge you to park in the garage something I had to work out while making the reservation over the phoneThe staff could not answers any questions about the area attractions which was a disappointment my wife did receive a tourist map which was helpful If you chose to stay here be patient while you try to enjoy your stayWe had hoped for a better experience as Charleston is a nice place to spend a few days the Hilton Mt Pleasant needs to manage the staff who clearly can not handle the volume of guest at this time

Love the location My stay at this hotel was great I thought the staff was amazing and very helpful with things to do/eat in the area

The hot breakfast in the morning was out of this world and a great addition, saving from driving out I wasn’t a fan of the $25 night parking, think this is something the hotel should cover I’m a clean freak and is “VERY” detailed My room was cleaned nicely only problem I had was the shower I don’t want to see pieces of long hair on the glass door nor bottom door slide, and dried up soap in the holder from the previous guest when I’m taking one But that’s something that can be fixed So overall, I will choose this location again

Really nice and modern hotel The room and bathroom were very clean No carpet was a plus

The rooms are pretty small, at least the king If you are planning on spending much time in there with several people would not recommend The gym was fantastic, very well equipped The negative is that it is on a busy road right by a stoplight and the hotel is not very sound proof Reading other reviews we decided to give it a go anyway and took a small fan to help block out any noise; it really didn’t help There were a lot of loud cars going by all night If you are used to noise at night like traffic, then this hotel would likely not be a problem for you but if you like it quiet I would not recommend The staff was pleasant, no great interactions As much as I liked the location I’m not sure I’d stay here again based off the noise

Was the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed Great access to Credit One stadium, only about 8 minutes (with traffic) away Beds were great, bathroom great

Pillows were not great, but I like a firm pillow, and I have never seen a hotel that has firm pillows, so I cannot complain about that really They had a pool table that we enjoyed playing Breakfast was pretty good

Alex Brinkman

Great location, nice staff, good price Comfortable beds and surprisingly something standout is how nice the soap was The overall atmosphere of the hotel was more communal and modern, they made a point to emphasize the rooms were smaller but I didn’t really feel like the room size difference was noticeable

This is perfect for a weekend stay or short work trips

I was very impressed with the hotel Very clean facility with lots of sitting areas inside and out Great for entertaining or visiting with family members

There was a tv in the lobby and a digital fireplace that allowed for comfort while enjoying a book or talking with friends The conference rooms were very spacious and allowed our party plenty of room to entertain and eat with privacy from other guests in the hotel The hotel staff including the General Manager, receptionist, and cleaning staff were very friendly and accommodating to all of our needs The service we received was 5-star quality all the way The rooms were spacious and very clean I would recommend these accommodations to any and everyone I can The hotel was located in a great area to offer food and shopping within a short drive We did make one request for our next visit for the hotel to add 2-3 outdoor fans to allow for air circulation while sitting under the breezeway It would be a great addition to a great hotel Job well done Wyndham Garden of Mt Pleasants, SC

A Very nice hotel in a great location The lobby and breakfast area were quite comfortable and welcoming The staff were pleasant and professional, and did their best to make us feel at home

The room was nicely decorated and had everything we needed Our breakfast was hot and delicious, with plenty of hot coffee available at any time of the day The rate was resonable and comparable to any similarly appointed hotels Parking was free and convenient An overall good experience

Hotel was great location On the same street as a Wal-Mart and several fast food restaurants Only 15 mins to the Marina where we took a boat ride, Boone Plantation, and Isle of Palms Beach so that was great

COVID Changes: housekeeping only upon request, breakfast was bagged bagels and fruit, pool was open but patio furniture removed And of course mask required in all hotel common areasFront desk clerk Karen was great about getting an error corrected when I checked out and very nice Bathroom about the same size as the Hilton hotels I normally stay in Room was clean although I did kill 2 roaches the first night Price was right

Out of state visitor;Convenient Location, Spacious updated suite room The hotel lacks customer service, no direct verbal contact, front desk agents using headphones paying no attention to their lobby; that is if they are able to be located The first night of my 6 night stay the front desk agent had her polo rolled up while her stomach was completely out resting on the desk

Would recommend the hotel, just not professional!!!

Came down from Nashville TN for a family trip with the wife and her family When we arrived to the hotel we did arrive pretty early before check in hoping we could possibly get into a one of the rooms my wife booked unfortunately one of the rooms were not ready BUT the young lady named Brianna I believe her name was very helpful of making sure we got into at least one of the rooms that were ready and told us she would try her best to get our rooms side by side or on the same floor, it wasn’t even 35 minutes of us checking into one room she called and let us know that she has a room right on the same floor as ours and it was 3 rooms down which was fabulous I loved how even though we checked in an hour early she was still willing to check us into our rooms and we appreciate how the housekeeping staff were also so kind to us

She also helped with good restaurants ideas and seafood restaurants outside of the mount pleasant area which helped us a lot since my wife and mother in law is a seafood eater at heart Breakfast was amazing! Great breakfast staff very friendly The rooms were spot on clean as well which made us even more excited to stay at the springhill suites This has been one of the BEST trips as a family vacation we have been on in Charleston mount pleasant! My wife is already trying to make plans to visit again

Kimberly Kolling

Great experience! We had to switch hotels at the last minute to here and were so thankful for the courteous staff! The hotel looked new and the room was spotless The location was ideal as well The manager even sent a followup email a few days later — probably autogenerated but none of the other hotels we stayed in this week did that so it spoke volumes about their customer service

This is the first hotel I’ve ever stayed at where I’ve given 10 Stars across the board I can think of absolutely nothing to critique about this hotel and we really enjoyed our stay hereWe were able to get an upgrade to our room at check-in for no additional charge and everybody answered questions before we could even think to ask

Parking availability was fantastic and the layout of the hotel made it easy to get between our room and our car Our room had a kitchen which was well stocked with everything we needed and everything about the room was very clean and diligently servicedWe didn’t take advantage of the pool or Fitness room even though the latter was right across from our room but they seemed well maintained, the complimentary hot breakfast (buffet style) was delicious and excellently crafted It wasn’t until our second day there that I realized that they changed out the batter options for the waffle maker every day (was bummed because they give you two options each day and I told myself I’d have the blueberry tomorrow just to find that it was replaced with vanilla cream Which was amazing nonetheless)Thank you guys and wish every hotel could rise to your standard

Can’t say enough good things about this place If you want a true family atmosphere this is your spot We had our whole wedding party stay here for about a week, & everything was perfect

There was some minor issues as with anywhere, but the staff here go above, & beyond to do anything possible to fix an issue, or just help you in any way they can Kevin, the manager is an amazing guy, & local guide Gave us plenty of local fishing spots to check out Parking garage underneath can be tight, but in the off-season there’s free street parking Honestly, there’s not much reason to leave the area once you get there though I think we moved our cars just a few times in a week as there’s plenty of good food, & stuff to do within walking distance The Dinghy, & Rum Shack are great Can’t wait to come back again Such amazing sun rises

I truly wanted to find out that the reviews were overly critical We are not at all picky about where we stay That to say that it is an honest review of someone who went with not very high expectations

This is a moderate level hotel with a great location As the only hotel ON the beach, they are getting away with being mediocre and charging high end prices The “grab and go breakfast” is better the earlier you get there, because they don’t keep it stocked The lot parking passes “available at the front desk” is charged to you every night whether you need it or not Housekeeping is optional, but when you choose to have them come they do a partial job The front desk people are ok, but if you are paying this much they should appreciate the customer more A Hampton Inn has WAY more security than this place All the stairwells are wide open for anyone to come in The bed is extremely uncomfortable and pillows are equally terrible We spent $3000 for a week on the beach That money would be better spent at any of the other places along the beach

Paul Grindley

Very nice hotel First time ever seeing an ocean and the private balcony was perfect for just being able to sit and watch all night long Wish I could have stayed longer

Kevin at the desk is super friendly and helpful I wish I could remember the lady’s name at the desk when I checked out, she was really friendly as well Housekeeping had our room looking great and well stocked

I have been a long-standing, frequent guest at the Beach Club Thus, we chose this hotel to stay at for our upcoming wedding this weekend We had a couple from out of town stay with us and their flight arrived late

We enjoyed some time talking with them once they arrived, and were then greeted by hotel staff to tell us to “be quiet” (for details, this was shortly after midnight) To add context, I have stayed at many hotels and do my absolute best to respect other guests and avoid being a disturbance, so I genuinely appreciate the acknowledge and feedback from staff when warranted At Beach Club, their interruption was not warranted and without meritFurthermore, we were once again disturbed for being loud yet staff failed to provide adequate documentation that’s guests sign agreeing to any posted quiet times or “non-talking” periods The next morning, I went to the hotel lobby to address this issue with their staff I was met with mockery and disrespect from a bitter, old receptionist As a result, I asked to speak with the GM whom was polite and understanding yet quick to provide excuses Additionally, the staff cited the hotel as being fully booked but availability is showing online, the parking lot is merely empty, and they still condensed guests into a congested areaOverall, this hotel puts on a front of being 4-5 stars but their staff is extremely rude, disrespectful, and non-accommodating They fail at their most coveted task, which is customer service I am highly disappointed in Beach Club and will be advising friends and family against staying there in the future They had us wait 25 minutes to check in since their employees didn’t want to do their job, they failed to provide water to their guests, and treated us with disrespect throughout our stay thus far

A generally fantastic facility to stay at, from the rooms to the pool to the views Very clean and beautifully decorated Also, very convenient to downtown Charleston (10 minute drive), not to mention the Fish House restaurant and Patriot Point Maritime Museum, both next door within walking distance

Or, you can take the water taxi directly from the hotel pier to downtown CharlestonA few downers were the apparent lack of enough towels, both in our room and at the pool Also, the mini fridge in our room was extremely mini, not really able to fit much at all, and never really got cold A small microwave in the room would’ve been nice too Still, we would definitely go back

matt m

It’s a good hotel The gate at the front so annoying The brown from the balcony is so good

The hot tub wasn’t working when we were there unfortunately The pool is big so there’s plenty of room to swim around A bar near the pool for drinks They will let you take bikes out and ride around which is cool Not really a beach just a patch of grass with sand on top of it The best part is the little robot who roams the lobby
