Jeff Baldwin

I just returned from a 5 day stay at the Palace It was a great vacation My room was great, clean and spacious

The best part was the smoke free environment Someone in our group had an issue at one of the Craps tables and I never got my $25 bonus money for the slot machines but nothing is perfect I would give the gambling a 35 out of 5 The casino staff was some of the friendliest and engaging I have ever seen There is plenty of security and they are just as good to converse with

Phillip Smart

I like to stay here mainly because of the smoke free environment The staff is always friendly and courteous There is never a long line to check in

The casino itself is not that big, but big enough There aren’t enough food options in my opinion There are two sit-down type restaurants and one deli type place For those people who like to stay up all hours of the night gaming, I don’t know if there are superior food options at this particular place The beds are usually top notch, although sometimes you can get a rough bed

Abby Blue

Their buffet was excellent so many things to choose from… basically something for everyone

Beautiful area you can see the Biloxi – Ocean springs bridge lights all lit up it’s a very pretty site Remember it is a smoke free casinoAnd if you are looking for top shelf liquor in your drinks they have a lot of medium liquors available to pour from of course a beer is always the safest thing to order

Okay so here is my candid reviewUpon entering the building, I saw a man smoking a cigarette I told myself “Maybe he couldn’t wait, being that he was walking towards the outside doors

” However, as I kept walking towards the hotel elevators, I saw that a lot of people were smoking I guess it’s a casino thingIs it a thing? This was my 1st time at a casino and it was interesting I didn’t understand any of the games and what to do to win Guess what? I did win some money You also get free alcoholic beverages while you’re playing on the machines That was cool!My room was nice and neat The pool area is nice as well There is a bar and a jacuzzi as well The weather was perfect this weekend tooThe only personal complaint I have is the smoking I don’t smoke and I hate to smell it and/or smell like it That cheapened the hotel experience for me Apart from that, I had a good experience

Mary Catalanotto

Stayed here recently with two young kids and it was not comfortable at all To be honest I wouldn’t stay here even if I was traveling without any kidsPros: The water in the room was hot

Front desk and housekeepers were very nice and friendlyCons:Valet service was closedOnly one bell hop was working which is fine, I can bring up my own luggage, however, no additional luggage carts were available My poor husband had to make four trips up and down the busy elevators to bring up all our stuff3 elevators are available to service guests Good luck if you catch it around a busy timeSet the room at 68 and it never got cold, just felt like it was only blowing airNo microwave in the room, $30 additional charge to get oneBeds were creaky and hard

monique territa

The room was nice and clean! But it was the customer service I received that lead me to this review From check in to check out was fabulous! I was traveling alone and as a lady I was very cautious When asked I was escorted to the room with a manager, unfortunately I did not get his name

But at Infusions, I did get to know them and complimented the service You know COVID has taken the pleasantness from lots of people in the service area, however every time I was greeted by Terry, is was a smile and small talk When I asked to meet the night manager, he thought he did something wrong When Nancy came out, I had to let her know her employees, who are hard to come by, were a pleasure Brandon and Terry went above and beyond! My Spirit in people had started to diminish but not at IP When I left that falling spirit was lifted as high as can be Thank you my friends for make my trip comfortable and peaceful Mama needed a break from home, and what a blessing I received!!

The only good thing about here is the pool area For what you pay, the rooms are not a good size The air conditioner was absolutely horrible (was not just our room, I spoke with others as well)

The room never got cool/cold at any point during our stay There was no garbage can besides the small one in the bathroom There was no closet for storage/clothes Parking spaces were fairly tight for modern vehicles You also put a “resort and incident” fee at check in, which In my opinion, is just a money hungry tactic You pay so much to stay at this “resort”, the fee should be included and if myself (not my guest) cause an “incident” that portion of the fee should be returned There is no reason I’d return here, I can find a nice pool else where Other surrounding places have a decent pool with nicer accommodations

Kevin Hogan

We just returned home yesterday We stayed in room 6225 The room size for us was good, but the air conditioning must be repaired for us to stay there again

there are many pluses to the place the grounds the pool the beach across the street The house keeping group was great very friendly and helpful as was the rest of the staff The elevator broke down two days in a row but did get repair I like the fact they have Veteran parking spots 2 per building a nice touch Our grandkids loved the pool area Very family friendly resort There needs to be more drawers for your cloths There was only 3 small drawers in our room

A. E.

Pros: Beautiful hotel grounds Lobby and public areas fairly clean, despite many guests Pool area was fun, even for our 14 y/o daughter, who was older than most of the kids there

Cons: Rooms very overwhelming with air freshener Ceiling a/c vent was full of black mold Shower and toilet had not been cleaned, or at least cleaned well, as there were many child-sized hand prints and sticky goo all over One of the beds had a URINE SOAKED mattress, and the smell was overwhelming We could not get another room, because there were none available, and ended up buying a comforter at Walmart, and sleeping on top of the hotel bedding to tough out our stay of two nights I understand that many kids stay here, but it was still disgusting When I informed the desk clerk upon checkout, all she could say was “I’m sorry” 🤷🏻‍♀️

This is a wonderful place for a family vacation Our room was very clean, the staff were so friendly, and the drinks were delicious! The arcade was really cool and the pool was amazing! There’s something for everyone in the family at this place It was also nice having a balcony to sit on overlooking the water and watching the dolphins catch fish in the marina; not something you get to see everyday! I’m definitely looking forward to going back

Danielle Jones

Our king corner suite was great! The bedroom was huge and the bathroom was very very spacious as well We loved the living area with the kitchen Lots of storage in each room and the kitchen as well

Balcony was great also We loved the bean bag loungers at the pool area Our teenagers loved being able to take the elevator down to the coffee shop in the mornings We will be back! The staff were very friendly and our room was ready at 2pm for early check in

Julie Gauthier

Pretty good experience Sink was plugged when we first arrived and they sent maintenance up right away Room safe had 2 batteries removed and therefore didn’t work, it did concern me that it was like this

The room was clean, no good place for hand towels The rooftop pool was great! Water was warm and bar service was good, friendly staff and fun environment There is a smoking area there which was nice

The place is massive and very welcoming The parking was decent for as busy as it was A bit of confusion on how to get to the hotel part but after looking closer, there were signs

The room was nice and cleancould have used more towels but perfect the room I stayed in had the water in the shower running and not able to turn off It wasn’t pouring but a steady flow I called the front desk to report it and they offered to send someone right away although I declined as I was ready to relax after a long drive The casino was clean and roomy Didn’t feel overcrowded We were not able to get anyone to bring us drinks while gambling but it was fun We got drinks from one of the many bars on site and they were great! Overall a great experience Highly recommend the pink Cadillac margaritas from the sports bar

The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the hotel room was nice Everything else was not good On day 1, we had to do SO much walking just to find the entrance to the Hotel

It seems that it’s setup that you must walk through the casino in order to check in Signs need to be displayed so people can know where to go Day 2, we woke up expecting hot showers, but the water was off The hotel staff were no help in regards to that issue I called 2 times in 3 hours and got 2 different explanations from 2 different people Finally at the end of our trip, we wanted to take a simple photo before we left The security guard that we kindly asked to take a group photo of us declined quickly to take a picture and asked for our identification as if she’s law enforcement My sister is 19 so she explained things to us that we already knew about the policy in the casino After paying over $400 for 2 nights, I expected better Will not be returning

Michael Smith

this hotel is an excellent choice when visiting the coast the staff are very friendly, the casino lively and the rooms and facilities are excellent well kept, clean, stylish and up to date

great employees all over it can be a bit pricey, but the prices reflect those of other properties in the area and are worth more than most of the other properties, better deals on weekdays Very nice pool area also Good drinks, lots of fun

We appreciated the free parking when we arrived Check-in was fine You have use the bell service to use the luggage cart which just means you need to tip someone to do something you are perfectly capable of doing yourself

The rooms were VERY dated Our room faced a parking lot, but we were only there for 2 days so not a big deal No security using the elevator which is usual at a casino hotel There is no daily room service, but there is an envelope to leave a tip for …well, I’m not sure what since we made our own bed every day The phone in the room did not work, so we were unable to call down to the front desk or request bell service when we left We finally just used our cell phones to make a request They met our expectations of cleanliness and comfort The room was quiet and we got a good nights sleep I recommend this hotel if you are just there for the casino, but if you are sightseeing it’s not near much

This should be read with a somewhat understanding of the current labor shortageHotel is in need of some serious upkeep Rooms felt uncleaned and were very cramped for space

Sheets were worn and frayed, but the bed was overall comfortable and smelled cleaned Very dim lighted bathroomCasino was quite the let down Dealers were nice and pit bosses were easy going, for the most part That being said, if you’re looking for 24/7 gaming action, you will be in for a let down Not only did they only have 1 table open per game, they also shut down card games after 1am Slot action was decent but with limited options and play levels Additionally, if you fancy liquid refreshments of any kind while you play, you might want to bring your own beverages While the wait staff was very friendly, they were severely short-staffed and spread quite thinAll in all, if you just want a bed and a daytime place to try your luck, this is not a bad place for the priceAlso, it seems fair to say that this area has been hit pretty hard by the economic and atmospheric storms over the years and does appear to be in “rebuild” phase

Dorothy McPeek

The hotel is in a great location The rooms are well kept There is not a microwave or refrigerator in the rooms, however you can rent one for 10

00 a day Towels are available upon request The meals at the mix and mingle were very good, however again you pay for those yourself The slots are very tight, so gamble accordingly The staff is very attentive and helpful The pool area is very nice and well kept, except for the long tubing which cost 900 each Again use common sense

Check in was quick and easy Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful Our waitress at dinner Brittany was awesome ,she was very personable and outgoing

We had blackened red fish, gumbo and fried green tomatoes that was Very goodMy only critique would be that the breakfast here is just like any other hotel, cheap generic hot breakfast Only difference is they charge you $13 a plate, where other hotels give it to youOver all a great experience and I would stay here again

Gabby M

The staff was extremely friendly, the lobby was nice and clean, pool area was very clean We were able to enjoy happy hour at the bar which was nice However, the food that we ordered was very bland

The hallway on the floor we stayed on was extremely hot, like the heat was on It may have been equally as hot inside as it was outside Good thing that was just the hallway and not in the rooms Our room was clean and very cold Unfortunately, the pillows on the bed were absolutely horrible Once you go to lay on them, they immediately turn flatter then a pancake Although there were 4 pillows on the bed, it didn’t do much good given that they all flatten out as soon as you lay on them The bathroom was also very small With the size of the bathrooms, it would be better to have a rolling shower door instead of one that swings open and almost hits the toiletAs of July 11, 2022, they will be installing new locks on all of the room doors, which I think it nice to have upgraded from time to timeOverall our stay was pleasant and I would stay here again if in the area

I was staying with my mom who was in the hospital across the street I really needed a good night of sleep so that I could drive and take care of her when she was released This hotel was conveniently located for this

I feel that I received a great rate as a Hilton Honors Member The hotel is lovely, the staff friendly, and my room was super nice and comfortable I highly recommend them

Loved the pictures of the White House Hotel online When I read the hotel’s history I was hooked Booked through the hotel’s website

Wanted a specific view from the room We got exactly what we hoped for Our room was enormous All of the staff was very professional Order an “Old Fashioned” at the bar It was perfect The food we ordered from Cora’s Restaurant was amazing Love, love the pool We would definitely recommend this hotel Felt very old school classy without being pretentious

J soot

Stayed four nights I did not experience the restaurant, but two nights in a row I had a nightcap at the bar, and watching some of the other patrons receiving food made my mouth water!! I had limited interaction with the staff, but those I did were very friendly, and helpful when askedThe room was on the back side, so my view was the parking lot, but it was only a few steps to the front where you could sit on the front porch, or sit on a balcony overlooking the pool area, or down at the pool itself

LovelyConvenient to most everything in the area Thank you, and I would not hesitate to stay again

This Hyatt Place is amazing; well run and friendly staff! After checking in, we were impressed by the clean and well stocked rooms with a lovely view of the pool and beach across the street The lobby has so many sitting areas to enjoy a cocktail at night or gulf view for breakfast The heated pool and hot tub made it enjoyable to swim and n chilly weather or you could sit by the fire pit and warm up

– seem well-maintained The most outstanding aspect was the staff John at the front desk was very helpful in accommodating a change I needed from the rooms I had reserved Not only did he accommodate the request, he was genuinely kind about it He made us feel welcome right from the start Would absolutely stay here again

We spent a couple of nights Staff was friendly and accommodating The first problem we had, was the key card did not always work

The next problem was the lighting No overhead lighting~all lights except bath area were lamps Then, the smell hit us The bathroom smelled like sewer gas We immediately bought air freshener The A/C was constantly running no matter the setting, unless we turned it off And it sounded like it toddler with a nose whistle The filters inside were clogged with dustThe furniture was nasty and falling apartI understand that the humid salt air has a negative impact on metal surfaces, but the rusty fixtures were a turn off I also understand that carpet in motel rooms by the beach is a bad idea (sand), but the laminate floor always felt grittyWe earned two free nights through Choice Privileges and this is what they gave us Seriously considering cancelling our membership

Perfect for the money spent The room was a typical hotel room Nothing fancy but it was clean and the beds were comfortable

Staff was super helpful and friendly The breakfast was tasty and filling Conveniently located to the area restaurants, casinos and activities Pool was clean and closely montiored by staff for excessive rowdiness I will definitely stay again if we ever return to Biloxi

This was a great stay! We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed ourselves Very comfy bed, only complaint is with how thin the pillows are The character within the rooms is so cute, it feels much more homey than the average hotel

Service was fantastic, each staff member was very warm and eager to help us The pool area though was my favorite It had plenty of chairs and was the perfect area to sunbath I would recommend!

Quaint with a wonderful view I love the location A pleasant gem that was very unexpected

Though some things are a bit dated, the bed and linens were comfortable and clean , the bathroom was clean and the provided soaps, conditioner and lotion all smell wonderful There is a mini fridge, microwave and small coffee maker It is my understanding that renovations are beginning and I am so excited to visit again

After a 6 plus hour drive and 2 horrible attempts to stay in other hotels we landed here And thank goodness for miraclesFrom the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff who were tidying the outside and assisting us immediately at the front desk

Our room was a 2 queen bed suite that was clean and smelled amazing Their was no noise all night from any guests or the road Breakfast was absolutely wonderful So many choices and a fresh selection of everythingWe will be back and thank you for being so great

Kudos to my girl Nicky checking me in late, having my room ready, with a smile! Her attitude and kindness were incredible The breakfast was immaculate The beds were comfortable

The air conditioner was the BOMB (actually works) The travel size Dove shampoos were the cherry on top Love this place – highly recommend it Tell Nicky that “Santa Clause” said “HI!!!”

I have to say, over the past couple of years of visiting Mississippi, the hotel has done well to accommodate my stay during the Summer weekend getaways The beds are comfy and both the fridge and microwave work as intended Even the tv in the room has everything included working HDMI ports

But one thing that doesn’t agree with me is that the AC unit doesn’t do a good job keeping the room cool I have it on the highest setting and after hot showers, it struggles to cool the room back down Also outside around the back side entrance near the pool, it has became an eyesore with trash Just looking at it is why I’ve avoided going back into the hotel through that side door I do understand that construction is still going on during my stay, but it would be helpful to keep it pristineOther than that, it’s not really a bad hotel location The issues I only had during my time here is the trash outside and the AC not working well Everything else, including management was very helpful

Rooms were clean and beds comfortable

It is very well maintained older style motel The grounds were clean and plants well manicured As a rewards member, I received a generous welcome goody bag We definitely plan to stay at this Best Western hotel on our return trip

Nice clean rooms just don’t like the fact that you agree on a price for some reason they need to get more money out of you then what was agreed on I just don’t believe that is good business

I would have much rather them tell me they are not going to give me a discount It’s funny I have AAA, I’m here working for a corporate office All discounted stays but manage to pay regular price Guess when you can pay on time with no payment issues you should pay more

Misti Adams

This place was by far the nastiest hotel I have ever seen or stayed It should be removed from Expedia The price was ridiculous compared to the filth

The floor was wet, the ceiling was wet Carpet very sticky and I’m fairly certain the bed skirts had bodily fluids on them We were traveling a very long distance and if we had not went through Expedia we never would have stayed We have always trusted Expedia but it failed us this time So disgusting

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed inMy sister and I had an issue with the refrigerator and Ho(maintenance) changed immediately He also checked on us daily, very friendly

Our front desk attendants Marie and Theresa were exceptional 👏 Theresa is very knowledgeable of the area and was able to give great recommendations and directionsI appreciate the extra mile, it was a great 5 day mini “work” vacation, but they made it feel like home!

Yolanda Brown

It was a good location from Biloxi I chose this hotel because of the ratings The beds were comfortable and maid who cleaned our room needs more instruction it wasn’t completely dirt but the bed covers/ bedspreads had stains on them the drawers had sticky stuff in them and we had to wipe down the whole bathroom because it didn’t look like they gad did a real clean of the bathroom

but was not bad No unusual smells just needed a little extra cleaning The only complaint I have are not enough luggage carriers had several of us late checking g out because we were waiting for a cart they only have 2 AND the back entrance that u use you key card to enter was very hard to get in it took about 4/5 swipes to get inI started to wonder if who ever was watching the security cameras on the back door opened the door after they saw our frustration us all in all a good stay nice friendly staff

VRAMS

Room size was good We got there later in the day so we quickly went to sleep The next morning I noticed that the bathroom looked clean but it wasn’t as clean as it looked

After having housekeeping come in and clean the bathroom I noticed that the mirror was still not clean I like the company but I will not be staying at this hotel the next time that we’re on the coast
