Simple room at a good price Mini fridge was nice AC worked a treat in the humidity

Building clean decent spot if you have Kids as there is a Court for Basketballs, Put golf, Pool and tennis courts not to mention a outside barwe Stayed one night and the only gripe was the charger that was claimed to be there was no longer there there are chargers across a very quiet street so it was more then fine

Emily Feldkamp

My normal Carlsbad hotel was booked when I was in town this last time so I gave the Holiday Inn a shot The front desk employees were top notch and super friendly The breakfast attendees were also great

The room itself was pretty standard for a Holiday Inn My biggest disappointment was that their bike rental station did not work -as a triathlete that travels a lot I was so excited to have an option to bike outside but ended up having to use the workout room recumbent bike instead which is really not ideal All in all it was a wonderful stay and I would totally stay here again, just be aware the outdoor bike rentals don’t work!

I was in town on business and booked this hotel The front desk staff was friendly and helpful when asking questions about where to eat in the area I ordered some food and drinks at the bar, great service there! The room was clean and quiet! the only downside if I can complain at all is the wifi seemed a bit lagging

I download and upload a lot of files each day and that was a bummer but can’t complain too much about it I didn’t get to check out the pool or fitness center this trip but I wouldn’t hesitate on staying there again in the future!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Mission Pacific! My husband, myself, and our 10-month-old son stayed 3 nights here and had the best time Cindy at the front desk was amazing and made sure we had a mini-fridge and rib for the baby She also upgraded our room since they were not able to accommodate us for a pool cabana due to an event, and our room was amazing with ocean views a sitting area, and a large bath! Thanks, Cindy! The pool staff was so attentive and made sure we had fresh towels and drinks throughout the day

We also enjoyed the pool at the sister property, the sea bird which was amazing We ate at Valle for dinner and the food was great and the service was Michelin level We are New Yorkers and have traveled all over the world and the service was top-notch, we will definitely be back!

Excellent hard product and superb soft service Valet is easy and efficient; a quick text and the car is in the turnaround I’m no alkaline water connoisseur but I love the recyclable water bottle concept

The front desk is super responsive and helped us with breakfast reservations The beach rambler is amazing; free umbrella and chairs can be set up right on the beach I’m definitely going to miss that service next time we go to the beach on our own The hotel is right in front of the Amtrak line but you can barely hear any noise when the window is closed I’m not sure if I really felt the hot and cold temperatures of the 8 POD bed but it is very comfortable The ocean view studio is well designed with the sliding door and the deep water tub We’re already talking about coming back again The location is just so amazing to be steps away from the beach Oceanside may not be on everyone’s latest tourist destination radar but we can’t recommend this resort enough

Vanessa L

I had such a great stay here!Pros:Hotel room – I was upgraded to an ocean view room (due to status) and it was literally right in front of the ocean with unobstructed views The room was spacious, but I was also alone so not sure if I would feel the same with 2 people Bed was super comfy and robes/slippers were great

Hotel amenities – the rooftop pool area was exactly my viberarely any children, views of the ocean and drink service I also did rooftop yoga that was included, which was icing on top Having access to Seabird was great because on Sunday they had a free spa day so I was able to use the sauna and other facilitiesRestaurants – there were lots of options between both properties that I never needed to go elsewhereSurrounding area – I feel like I didn’t see many reviews about the beach area It’s a very lively beach area across the streetfood vendors, surfers, fishers, etc doesn’t die down until around 8pmCons:-Facing the beach also meant facing the busy street, so just be aware that it will be noisy until about 8ish every evening-The restaurant menus aren’t that robust Meaning each menu is about 1 page long, so don’t expect a steakhouse or anything- Noise levels were great in my room until the last night when a huge family checked in and they had multiple roomsslamming doors and running the halls Not the hotels fault, but just something to note

Overall it was an okay hotel Very quiet and nice location Unfortunately I did have some issues

I checked in after a long day and my room had blood stained sheets on the bed That’s a big no-no for me or anyone I would imagine I did call and get them replaced Bathroom was a bit dirty, I’ve been in worse and I was too tired to deal with it I do wish they had complimentary breakfast though They do make you buy it if you want it There is an IHOP down the street so I just went there It does have on site laundry so that’s nice An okay stay Could’ve been better

Yul Gash

Service was great, but breakfast not included We stayed on second floor Room #206 and window did not have security stopper (opened all the way), AC worked unproperly (would not stop at certain temperature ) so instead we preferred opening windows That specific window is facing pool area and in this case might be attractive to climb on for small children or pets

Not here to complain but to suggest to be cautious

Tiara Jay

Nice hotel, I got at a discounted price because I was with a group Everything was great until I came back to my room to find BED BUGS not one but a few A lady came in and confirmed that they were in fact bed bugs

After insinuating if the bed bugs might have been mine The hotel switched my room, in the moment, the stress and anxiety I felt at 12am made me never want to come back to this hotel again, I couldn’t even sleep well in the other room in fear that they had traveled or was in the new room Also the new room’s bathroom had a TERRIBLE smell Yea nice hotel I just wouldn’t go back regardless discount or not

Kate Carlson

Lovely resort We really enjoyed the pool The family area spa is a little cooler than I would like as an adult, but it was lovely for the kids to be able to enjoy it (and there is an adult pool/spa available area as well)

The room/suite in Villa D was perfect for our family of 4, with a very spacious kitchen and living area and a wonderfully comfortable King sized bed in a separate bedroom Easy walk to Legoland and beautiful view over the flower fields and of the ocean The guest policies were very accommodating, including allowing us to stay and use the pool and resort amenities after checkout, and parking was valid till the end of day as well We’d definitely like to stay here again

Melissa Forsberg

Great place to stay for family The rooms are large and clean It has a regular size kitchen if you want to make your own meals with all the utensils you’ll need

There’s also grills available on the grounds Staff was friendly and welcoming There’s separate pool areas where kids can play and swim Another for adults to relax and it has beautiful surroundings We would definitely go back again

Marco Ortiz

Really great family hotel! This place is great for families, the full kitchen makes everything much easier if you are traveling with kids We were able to store all the essentials for our 3, and 1 year old The room was extremely clean and they even provided a pack n play for our 1 year old

The furniture is a bit outdated but is in really great condition Overall the customer service was great but can improve in some aspects I would definitely stay here again We were able to walk to Legoland, it took us about 8 minutes There is no bell service or Valet, so it’s a bit of a bummer There are 2 hotels in the same building The desk for this one is on the right when you walk in and the Hilton on the left The bar was also very convenient, and Karl Strauss is also on the property We will definitely stay here again

Front desk personnel did not immediately acknowledge our arrival even when there were 3 of them just chatting and we are the only people in front of them We arrived at past 3PM expecting that our room would be ready but were told to wait for their call It took more than 30 minutes until they told us our room is available

This is not to mention that I have a Diamond level status which were not even acknowledged at this hotel No offer of room upgrade, no free breakfast, no offer of bottled water nor points And parking is not even free Around 7PM, I went back to the front desk to request for a 2PM late check out next day but I was told to return back to the front desk at 6AM with a condescending tone Went back to the front desk at 6AM as instructed only to be denied and no alternative offered other than being told that they are fully booked On a positive note, the hotel is clean which should be base standard especially for a 4 star hotel I expected this to be a memorable birthday celebration for myself but it gave us a not so good experience Definitely not returning back to this property and now rethinking my future relationship with the Hilton brand

Melody Marshall

Our room was not ready until 5:00 pm!!! We are Diamond members and we’re told ‘even the manager had to come in to work on a Monday!’ Once in the room the safe had no working parts and the refrigerator was frozen and had to be replaced We went to the lobby for a non existent breakfast of only coffee and pastries

When we asked if they had a plate for the pastries we were told no The bar tables were filthy with food and drink spills When we ask for a rag to clean a table we were told there weren’t any and offered a baby wipe to clean it ourselves The front staff was just standing at the desks and could have at least cleaned the tables And why didn’t the bar staff clean them at night We were told the marketplace is never stocked by the resort hotel There isn’t a breakfast associated with being a Diamond member, no upgrades, no water, no Hilton benefits at all We were also told there are no upgrades at the Tapestry for Diamond members if you booked the room on points, we have never been told this at other Tapestry hotels The rooms are clean and the hotel is an easy walk to Legoland, but what makes this a Hilton property is beyond me This hotel is grossly understaffed

Brian Yamashita

I’m sure your experience will be better than mine and the end of my trip was good but the beginning was a rough one We had the thermostat go out om day one and it was broken the rest of the first day and second day As you might be able to imagine in the summer with kids and no air and nothing they can do it was a bad night

If I was staying a week it might have been fine but night to and day 3 we all sleep and made the vacation with the kids a bit of a loss when it came to taking them to lego land for only 2 hours day 2 because of how tiered they were

Dawn

The hotel itself is fantastic! But SO LOUD that I got almost no sleep If you are a light sleeper, then anything in the Oceanside area near the tracks is gonna be that way Good to think about

They even provided a sound machine in the room So nice But the hotel is literally on the train tracks I got so startled each time it went through that I was wide awake And they come through all night UghThat said, the hotel is BEAUTIFUL The staff was great The rooms were so nice and well thought out Comfortable beds, a nice couch, a nice community deck area to sit out on and a great area to explore I really recommend the hotelif you can sleep through the trainsIf you are there, I love the Pier and the Hello Betty restaurant by the hotel It is a great area, and the actual hotel is wonderful

Katherine Pacheco

Our stay was short, just one night The rooms were clean, and looked just as they did in the photos The staff was friendly and all said hi even when just passing in the corridor

The breakfast was the normal free breakfasts that you usually get Scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, fresh spinach, bagels, yogurt, cereal, coffee, teas, and juice There is no self parking, but the valet parking was only $37 We didn’t need our car The beach and restaurants were all in walking distance Love that they now offer small sound machines and earplugs to help drown out any outside noise

D SP

Apart from the location being near to the beach, there is hardly anything good about this one The front desk was evasive when it came for basic services On our arrival they told us that the room will be serviced on the second day of stay

On day-2 they pushed this to the third day and on day-3 they told me that it was ‘on demand’ only After I expressed my frustration on the different answers I was hearing from the front desk every time I called, they apologized and sent someone that evening The room service lady was pretty disinterested We saw her reusing the same bedsheet and pointed out the stains, after which she finally used new bed sheets The breakfast was pretty mediocre I would definitely pass this one in our net trip to Oceanside The two adjacent hotels Mission and Seabird looked far better

I would definitely recommend this place! It was close to Legoland, the Flower Fields and several eating establishments Check in was super easy and the rooms were clean and quite large First place we have stayed that had two king beds and that’s a must from now on! Breakfast was quite good with a variety

My kiddos did milk and cookies every night at 8pm- that was a nice extra touch The pool was great- they even have a bin of balls, noodles and life jackets to use! The staff was super nice We never had to wait for the elevator or had trouble with parking The location was good – right off the highway and close to an in and out, the windmill eatery and downtown Carlsbad We weren’t bothered by the highway noise or the train I would definitely recommend it!

Glen Sato

Great location from the 5 freeway, Legoland and the outlets There’s also a gas station close by Rooms were clean minus the candy wrappers and peanuts underneath the bed/bed skirts

The beds were comfy and i appreciated the fridge/microwave in the room The bathroom was also pretty clean Didn’t notice any trash in the hallways and staff were polite and not overly friendly I like how they include breakfast Waffles, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, eggs, potatoes and sausage I just thought the water tasted a little weird with an aftertaste I still would recommend this place and would stay here again as the price was reasonable with excellent location

Kevin Whitney

We booked a spontaneous night away with our two little kids We had an excellent stay that we extended one more night The hotel staff are very kind and helpful

Always have a smile on their face and eager to be of serviceThe room was very clean The common areas were also very cleanBreakfast was amazing and many hot and cold optionsPool and spa were nice and relaxing They have plenty of kids safety floatees so you don’t have to bring your own or haul them between room and poolWe will definitely be back!

I had originally booked a different hotel because it was cheaper, but cancelled when I read their reviews I’m so glad I booked a room here for my family trip of 4 nights! The room was huge and clean We walked 20 minutes to a nice park and beach our first night

The proximity to I-5 made traveling everywhere very convenient Staff was friendly and helpful Housekeeping checked in every morning with fresh towels and coffee pods Breakfast offered a variety of foods each day and staff managed replenishment really well when it got busy The hotel was family friendly with lots of kids My kids enjoyed playing in the pool The location felt safe and everything was just really easy!

Dusty Sparks

My stay was great! The hotel was nicer than I expected Millie, the housekeeper is super kind and friendly Give her a raise, she deserves it! I don’t know if there are employees that live on site, but it appeared so, and they were hanging out around the pool area drinking alcohol and being loud about 9pm

The next day when I went to use the pool at 11am they had left their beer caps and other garbage by the tables That being said, a great hotel for the price!

Leanne Gislason

I stayed here for the Oceanside Ironman 703 The breakfast staff went above and beyond to feed everyone and keep everything well stocked while being super friendly

The room was basic but clean and we didn’t notice bugs or mold The reason for 1 star is David, the front desk agent who was working when we arrived after a long day of travel from Canada He was rude, condescending, and creepy He made claims that part of our reservation process would get another staff member fired (a worker approved a room change over the phone prior to us getting there) and mocked us for being surprised about that He insinuated that we ripped the hotel off by booking through a third party travel site Travelling as two women, this was pretty uncomfortable and we avoided him the rest of the trip, double locking our doors Ew, David

A good place in Oceanside, but with some attached quirks Parking wasn’t fun, very tight but not too far from the hotel The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but you’re also not paying for best bed prices either

The walls are especially thin, my biggest complaintPlaying some music on what I felt was a normal level got complaints from a neighbor I adjusted the volume and figured all was well Not but 20 minutes later and another noise complaint The staff even told me that this was common, and I really needed to be extra quiet If I wanted to stay at grandmother’s house, I would haveIf you want a stylized classic hotel experience in a great spot in town, book it here! Just be quiet and come prepared for the quirks a classic hotel will bring

stephen lawrence

A very unique Hilton tapestry boutique hotel Interesting history and the staff from the front desk, restaurant/bar and cleaning service were first rate I can’t say enough about how awesome the restaurant staff were during the entire stay

Breakfast menu was very creative and delicious Also thought the restaurant and parking prices were reasonable for Oceanside Parking is a challenge but negotiable It’s on a busy street so keep that in mind

Spiritual Goddess

The parking is across the street with no crosswalk Be prepared to walk down the street with all your items as Coast Hgwy is generally busy Rooms are very small

I understand this for efficiency but definitely do not want more than two people in one room When I booked, my booking stated it included continental breakfast This was not the case, we paid $30 Lots of little shops, restaurants and the beach all within walking distance

Mountain View

The Lakehouse has always been my favorite place, with its picture-perfect Mountain and Lake San Marcos LSM Marina is a must to enjoy water sports or simply cruise and admire the surroundings I am very happy with the pontoon boat that I rented

I must say that I’ve seen them a lot cleaner back in 2014-2016 and they seem to be the same boats this 2022 which explains why there are stains all around or weather damages on the leather seats, which are understandable when used over the years No complaints on the same awesome experience Just a suggestion if the management wants to improve by sanitizing better, change upholstery or deep-clean everything The staff who answered my call like Liam and the guys assisting at the dock are all very welcoming I’ll still give it a 5⭐️ And we’ll definitely be back

Jack Bowman

My wife and I came here on our honeymoon We had an absolute blast This place was worth every penny we spent on it

It’s up-to-date, very clean, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the amenities kept us very busyFor starters, they have several fire pits around the pool area (and a fantastic hot tub), which they give you smores to roast over It’s very cute They also give you a free bucket of balls for their driving range The poolside bar wasn’t incredibly well stocked for making custom requests, but their house drinks were just fine for us and the bartender was very nice and made us laughWe are already planning to come here again next time we decide to visit San Marcos

Max Delbecq

Pros: nice little lake with small, retirement community/golf vibe Nice boats – the small pontoon boat was really fun for our family of 3 for an afternoon picnic on the water Could have easily fit 6-7 people comfortably

Liked being able to book in advance via the websiteCons: employees, which are just a bunch of youngsters, were a little disorganized Price is high for a couple hours on a lake ($100/hour for the small pontoon boat + tax)

Such an amazing hotel Apparently a brand new build and it’s got a great beach vibe, almost reminds me of MiamiThe rooms are immaculate and well appointed with everything you would need staying for a night or beach weekend! The pool deck is phenomenal it’s right on the strip walking distance to the beach

You can get beach chairs too!The hotel was kid friendly but I would stay across the street at their sister property Mission Pacific The restaurants were great too, brunch looked delicious at Piper but we went across the street to High Low and man it was on pointThanks to Elijah and Sarah for taking great care of us So nice to have a great hotel like this 30 min from San Diego for a get away

federica barone

Great experience I was welcomed with a warm touch and that made me feel at home but with lots of additional attentions Great place for couple as you can enjoy a beautiful Romantic sunset on the ocean from the suggestive rooftop terrace

Music there embrace you with a private atmosphere Breakfast is delicious Rooms very comfortable as well as the bed but the best thing overall, if you chose to stay to the front ocean view rooms, is that you can wake up immersed in the pink light of dawn that colors the sea and the palms with golden reflections! Absolutely a remarkable stay

Chad Rea

Stayed 2 nights in a King partial view and on the 3rd night upgraded to a Grand Ocean Suite The property is gorgeous, the lobby is stunning, you can tell a lot of thought went into the light, cozy, chic look The valet was attentive, even explaining options to self park if you did not choose to valet (there’s a $5 paid lot adjacent to the hotel)

Front desk agent was welcoming and attentive, despite being a fairly new hotel the staff felt like seasoned pros On the last day my wife took the kids to the beach (less than 5 min walk) and the staff brought beach chairs, towels, and sand toys for them to play with (don’t forget to request these prior to coming down from your room, we didn’t know that)Rooms were beautiful, the view of the Oceanside shoreline was perfect You can also get a good view of the house on Tom Cruise’s house on Top Gun (currently undergoing renovations) The rainfall shower heads is always one of my favorite things in hotel rooms Patio seating was surprisingly comfortable My favorite thing about this hotel is the focus on sustainability, they provide you with your own refillable water bottles, the lights are all on motion sensors (including the hotel hallways) which also eliminates another touch pointThe wife did try out the Spa, which is co-ed and on the small side She really enjoyed the massage, although the price is quite high (close to or more expensive than the nearby 5-star Park Hyatt spa) If we did not have a property credit to negate most of the cost, not sure if she would have paid full priceBreakfast at Piper was good,All in all, relaxing stay Can’t thank the staff here enough for the 5 star service

The staff upgraded us to a ocean view, top floor, corner unit which had a great view of the ocean and a large balcony The facilities were very clean, maintenance was responsive and resolve issues quickly The staff kept us informed and asked if we needed anything via text messages which we appreciated

The unit was large and quite The beach was right outside the unit The TV didn’t work but they are working to resolve that and replace their provider In the meantime, they had a large selection of movies that you can check out of the office for free We had a great time and the staff was wonderful The room was very clean and they changed out our towels 2x during the 7 days and did a mini cleaning mid way Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we would highly recommend

The breakfast buffet was an added bonus The kids really enjoyed the pool which was kept at a warm temperature They had a blast swimming We stayed two nights and got to explore some really cool beaches, the Carlsbad Mall, and Legoland for a day We had a great overall experience and will be coming back soon!

Good quality hotel!Great front staff, helpful, friendly, and quick It was a painless experience checking inHotel and rooms looked neat

It seems like they were just remodeled or renovated But the entrance, lobby area, laundry, ice machine, hallways, elevator, and the rooms looked new!Rooms were very clean, and spacious Bathroom was cool too, also spaciousHotel is like 10 minutes from the I-5 Good experience so far!

Matthew Charnell

The first room we walked into smelled like throw up They changed our room and while the smell was better, the bathroom vent did not work The first couple mornings had decent breakfast

On the third morning we walked into the breakfast area to be presented by scraps: no plates, no utensils, no real food My children and I are unable to enjoy our vacation when we pay for a service and do not receive it This ruined my vacation Don’t let this place ruin yours

Far and away the best experience I’ve had staying at a Carlsbad hotel The service was great, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the pool is heated perfectly, and the location is fantastic It’s right next to all the great Carlsbad attractions like Legoland, the beach is close by, and same with the village, but also plenty of shopping and great restaurants to choose from all within walking distance

I had to make last minute reservations, which they were able to help me out with I also had to extend my stay at the last minute and they were able to get it doneAll and all, it was a great experience I’d highly recommend this hotel

Front Desk Staff was very nice The hotel is very dog friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, the grounds were beautiful plus there were lots of activities to choose from when hanging around outside Loved all the seating areas they had in their courtyard and around the grounds

I would have given 5 stars for my rating, however the restaurant service was not good It took the staff at the restaurant at least 10 min to acknowledge us or anyone else standing there , the tables were not cleared off and the service was a little slow

Jocelyn Ly

Nice place, good service! A special shout-out to one of their employees, Kadijah, who helped me switch into a room with a bathtub instead of a shower stall after my lower back was hurting from driving for 6 hours non-stop She was very kind and empathetic, as was their entire staff during my 3-night stay Clean facilities, great location, pretty good breakfast though it could use more healthy options

Rooms are very comfortable, and you can’t hear any outside noise and won’t be disrupted by your neighbors Plus, you can see the ocean from your window! I would definitely stay here again

William Cutler

Becoming here since 2010 A lot of business and nights here Never a bad stay till now

Use to feel like home but not this time Front desk personnel aren’t overly rude but they aren’t welcoming or inviting either Check-in was a good indicator of how poor customer service is here As far as my room Half the lights don’t work, a/c is loud and no food on site beyond breakfast Not sure who is running this place but I do miss Geoffrey IHG this use to be an amazing location Not anymore True review from a longtime IHG Member

Princess B

My husband and I stayed here last month and again this weekend This time we stayed in a king suite and the room was so spacious and comfortable The staff was so friendly

I can’t remember her name but I think it started with a B, she check us in and we were talking about both of us being from the Los Angeles area She was so sweet My only complaint is other hotel guest that were at the pool coming through the lobby soaking wet and dripping all over the the floor and elevator and making it dangerous for other guest

Location is great and the amenities are nice, the room layout is really well designed The pool is a great place to hang out, and being right across the street from the beach you can easily go back and forth Underground parking on site was convenient

I think the coolest part was the patio on the seventh floor that is a great place to watch the sunset

Stefanie Ziller

We are having a wonderful family vacation here, staying 5 nights! The room is fantastic, 2 bed, 2 bath with ocean view! At an affordable price Minus 1 star because checkin is at 3pm, but we had to wait in the lobby for 15 hrs with 2 anxious kiddos, bc I guess our room wasn’t ready

Met some other guests who were also delayed But once we got in, it’s been great! They don’t tidy rooms, or replenish stuff, but I will ask for a couple shampoos tomorrow and see how it goes! Also, The pool is nice! Overall, can’t beat this room and location

Nathan Mackintosh

Very very nice rooms, basically a small apartment They have a trash service sorta, you go into this room and put your trash then the trash guy takes it The nicer rooms have kitchens and 2 bed and 2 bath

Service is great and they have 2 level parking underground only issue is that there are 2 halves of building and somtimes you have to remember which wing your room is in They have a VERY nice pool and hot tub and a gathering room (ping pong and Tv) They have conference centers and it’s pretty nice

Stayed 3 nights The room was clean and in good shape Not much of a view where we were

The train goes right by the hotel, but is fairly quiet No horn blowing just a whine as it goes by The place is conveniently located to anything harbor and even O’side itself AC worked fairly well, plenty of parking and not much noise We felt safe while there Housekeeping staff were nice The woman that checked us in was not as friendly as I would expect from a front desk clerk (first impressions/I was a front desk person) She did her job and knew what she was doing but I didn’t feel the appreciation for my business The gentleman who checked us out when we left was very nice I probably would stay here again, but will checkout a couple of others before I do A decent price for the area, but otherwise a little higher than I think it should be Actually if I could not get a room with a harbor/ocean view next time I won’t bother staying here

Tim Colleran

The rooms were niceTo save money, the free breakfast is $020 danish from Walmart and $0

50 juiceThe cleaning crew, maintenance, and a newer girl in the office were extremely nice but the people that seemed in charge weren’t as friendlyIt’s not a bad place to stay during the week, but on weekends, there is a lot of illegal activity going on in the back of the hotel Management knows, they are consistently watching the cameras in the front office They just don’t do anything about it

Lori Foulks

This year is the 2nd year in a row we stayed here My husband, myself and 2 kids, 14 and 11 We love it

It’s not a fancy 4 star hotel, and we didn’t expect it to be However, both times here it was amazingly clean, both inside the rooms and on the grounds The pool and hot tub are also clean and well maintained Beds are comfy The housekeeping staff is amazing, and get you whatever you need Extra luggage rack, blanket, towels? No problem The new girl at the front desk this year, Edith, was so friendly and helpful with area information Love the location also It is a bit of a walk to the beach, but everything you could need is right down in the little harbor village You really could park your car and spend the week not using it again Yes the Coaster ( train) runs behind the hotel, but didn’t bother or wake us No horn blowing Never saw a bug or roach, some other revuewers said I had one disagreement with the night shift front desk employee last year The manager was all over it and made it right, so no complaints Overall, great, clean, comfy place to home away from home! Thank you Days Inn Oceanside! We will be back!

Beautiful resort! They have a nice pool area and the the rooms are very clean I will say it’s kind of confusing to get to my room I had to take two elevators One thing I forgot to mention is the lady in Starbucks was such a sweet lady! Very kind, and gentle, and her voice was very soothing

She made sure your coffee was perfect! I saw her the first 2-3 days when I visited Starbucks, then she was off I wish I would have told her how well her customer service was

This is a fantastic resort with a great location for relaxing, going to Legoland and it is close to Carlsbad village and Oceanside for great mealsMost importantly the staff is phenomenal! Before I arrived Hunter provided amazing service over the phone to accommodate a request When I arrived Milli checked me in and she too was very helpful and professional!I travel often for work, and I am impressed when a hotel provides impeccable service, and Westin Carlsbad is definitely one of those hotels

During my 5 night stay Hunter went out of his way to provide fantastic customer service! I saw how he made every guest feel special Thank you to the manager Dolores and her team for a great stay!
