The bed was pretty bad, super uncomfortable, only sheet separated you from bare mattress! Shower backs up! Exhaust fan did not work! Key card had to to be redone every day! AIR CONDITIONING WAS HORRIBLE! was suppose to stay 4 nights but could only handle 2 nights! For $181 a night you think you get better room!Update: this establishment over charged my credit card $397 dollars It has been a month since I stayed at place, still haven’t gotten my back from them! In process of talking with the local authorities and pressing charges for theft!

The breakfast was a joke The apples were old There was no milk, because the milk delivery person did not make a delivery

Management should have bought a carton of milk The only cereal was raisin bran I wonder how long it has been since it was eaten The danish was not filled, I did not ask but I wonder if the bread delivery person didn’t make a delivery They did have white bread There was eggs and sausage The coffee was excellent I will not be staying at another Comfort Inn unless it is the only choice

We had a wonderful stay here! We drove down from Minneapolis for a weekend getaway, and everything was lovely The owner was so accommodating and sweet, and the breakfast (with vegetables from her own garden) was outstanding! You can tell so much love and care goes into this place, too It’s a real gem

Thank you for the fantastic time!

I had an opportunity to stay last week at the Historic Hutchinson House B&B, and what a wonderful and pleasant experience it was The home is absolutely beautiful with incredible woodwork and is very tastefully decorated Hosts Tami & Doug Schluter and their pup Louie greeted me upon my arrival and instantly made me feel at home

They are very gracious hosts and welcomed me with open arms and briefly covered everything I needed to know and make for a very pleasant stay I stayed in the Johnson’s Pride room which was very spacious, nicely decorated, and with all the necessary comforts Tami prepared a delicious wild rice quiche, granola and fruit parfait, and fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast served in the dining room with the other guests Very pleasant experience I would highly recommend staying with Tami and Doug at the Historic Hutchinson House B&B if you are ever in the area, and I plan to stay again next year as I travel to Minnesota lake country for vacation

Staying at the historic Hutchinson House was a wonderful experience My boyfriend and I love old architecture and this place was full of historic touches Beautiful

Tami and Doug were amazing Both were a wealth of knowledge about the home, area, and things to do Tami called the Woolin Mill and informed them we would be there for the tour The Mill crew knew us by name which was cool and head tilting at the same time Breakfast was delicious I believe I have expanded my breakfast belly by at least double, but it was worth it Thank you all for making the best first B&B impression for me We will be back 🙂

First for your understanding, I am an European My expectations may be different from American citizensWhat I was really negative surprised, was the breakfast

Apart from the offered fruits, the milk and whole grain flakes, nothing from the breakfast buffet seemed to be healthy Sugar, sugar, sugar and some low quality burgerThe bed was very soft and worn down in the middle from some really heavy guests It needed some days to find a sleeping position, I did not wake up with back painFrom my daughter, she lived in the States for 1 year, I learned, that is a normal standard hereNevertheless, the staff and the owner are friendly The room was big Bigger than EU standard And it was cleanTo give 3 stars only, so far would not be fair In the EU I would give maximum 3 for thisSo I put 1 on

My boyfriend and I are on vacation visiting family, trying to relax and enjoy our stay but we can’t seem to do that at this hotelThe person above us stomps around during the whole time we were in the room especially when trying to sleep and early in the morning Stomping back and forth all night long

They woke me up at 6am with their stomping and I hadn’t been able to fall asleep until after midnight So I maybe got 5 hours of sleep or so We called and complained about it on our second night yet it continued every night of our stay We think that person lives up there When we wanted to call the front desk about this, the phone in the room didn’t have a button for the front desk so we had to call from our cell phone-The room smells extremely bad and musty -The bathroom smells like smoke-The furniture is all bandhed up and bruised-Everything is old and outdated-There are maybe 2 outlets in the whole room including the bathroom-The TV remote didn’t work and had to get up and use buttons on TV-The hot tub was out of order-The front desk wouldn’t give me bottled water when asked She told me to get it from the fountain in the breakfast area in a tiny cup for both of us? When my boyfriend went down the morning before and ask for two Ottlwd waters which they gave to him So I’m not sure what that’s all about?-There is no house keeping only on the day you leave so if you need towels or anything you have to ask for it at the front desk When -I did the lady asked “when would I be needed the towels? And to let her see if she has any available in the back” Why would you not have enough towels on hand? We’re paying close to $150 per night to stay here The least you can do is have towels available-Other people in halls being loud after 11pmI mean the list goes on and on We are so sad and disappointed At least there were no bed bugs or cockroaches (that we are aware of anyway)Please stay somewhere else if you can

The third shift or night shift staff are terrible I don’t know why, but they were very angry with us for whatever reason They denied us from using the pool, going outside to the patio to talk with friends, and they told us to be quiet when walking down the halls though we hadn’t been making any noise

This is the first time any of this has happened to me out of many hotels ive been to That was the last time I am heading there

1000% wonderful staff, I dont remember all by name but Sarah is amazing at breakfast & Elsa from housekeeping is just awesome & kind both ladies have hearts of gold the young man and woman at night are also both amazing and have been so kind to my family during this hard time with my mother From the cleanliness to the breakfast and staff this place is by far a 10star hotel I’ll always come here

We try our best to visit this place as many times as possible in a year It’s been a family run campground for many years and you really do feel at home here The bathrooms are nice and always clean, Linda and several others running the front areas sweet as can be

They also have fun tshirts to buy and homemade campfire starters Overall one if my favorite places to stop otw up to Wisconsin

Jan Dotson

I love this place The owners are so nice It’s nice and shady so even when it’s hot, it doesn’t seem to be

We were checking out on Sunday after staying for 3 nights I asked what time checkout was and the owner said, “what time do you need it to be?” I told him that we would like to go to church and he said, “Go ahead” I appreciate that very much The showers and laundry room were nice and clean They even have a clothesline, which came in handy for me

Krystal Stalker

My little family was here for a few weeks for a job The campground was absolutely perfect and was very family oriented There wasn’t one weekend that passed that activities weren’t going on

my favorite was the hog roast So yummy! We made some wonderful friends here and the staff was always super sweet and helpful! And our kids loved the playground! This was one place that I was okay with letting my kids be kids & not worrying about every move they made, because everyone knew what camper was theirs and who their parents were that meant a lot that everyone paid such close attention I definitely recommend this place! We had a wonderful experience!

Janet and Steve are amazing campground owners, who take pride in their campground and it shows! Bathroom/shower rooms were remodeled a few years ago and are always well kept and clean Playground was also updated a few years ago, and our kids love it! The pool is a huge plus, great for all ages! The grounds are always well kept and clean, and the lot sizes are much larger than a lot of other campgrounds I’ve gone to around the area The office is adorable with lots of items to purchase (snacks, clothing, home goods, etc) Campground is close to town, but for enough away at the same time

We will definitely be coming back every year!

As many others have said, I felt like I was in jail and being watched by the warden on his golf cart I was told very sternly to stay off the grass, but sitting at my camper I could see 4 cars parked on the grass I was also told no rugs larger than 2’x3’ because they were trying to save the grass, but when you walk around the park there’s tents out in front of campers, there campers with wood decks and huge rugs in the grass…

but I can’t have oneThe worst part was the distance between the shared water hookup and the sewer hookup was the largest I’ve ever seen at a campground If you stay here you’ll need 25’ of water hose and 25’ of sewer hose I could only hook up to water for the night as I couldn’t reach the sewer at the same time (15’ hose)Looking at other campers, they had 3 10’ hoses hooked together to make the span to the sewerThe pool was nice But it is absolutely not heated at all It was 85 degrees when we stopped and couldn’t stay in pool for more than 15 minI do not recommend this place

Park is very peaceful midweek But from Friday thru Monday it is packed The sites are extremely close together and poorly designed

The weekends brought rowdy people into the campground and filled the pool area with kids and adults cannon balling into the pool It says the pool is heated on the website but it wasn’t heated at all Could have used it The pool is an old design and the steps going into it were dangerousThe showers were dingy and you had to pay for them I couldn’t figure out how much it would cost for a decent shower as there was no info on that About 2/3 of the park were long term campers Water pressure was terrible and water was cloudy A neighbor advised us not to use surge protectors on the electric or power wouldn’t work Trees were in need of trimmingThe laundry area was poorly designed with washers on one end of the room and dryers on opposite wall at the other end No carts to move wet clothes between them And no folding areaWe would not stay again
