The hotel and rooms were pretty dated and the hallways and carpet had definitely seen better days – Smelled like a frat house on Sunday morning when you got off the elevator Our room wasn’t much better but the linens and towels were clean Bathroom and furniture were filthy in our suite

We were moved to a different room that was slightly better Staff was excellent and very helpful all around Housekeeping was very attentive and polite to guests The lobby and breakfast / bar area was very nice and had a wide variety of coffee drinks and breakfast options Pool area was a highlight here clean and spacious We used the hot tub and pool daily Would go back but hopefully corporate does something about the overall condition of the rooms , furniture and common areas (aside from the lobby and pool) Again, staff and Housekeeping were amazing and the only reason I would returnThanks to them

This hotel has the appeal of a tomb LED lights would help this hotel out immensely The lobby was nice and inviting so I was surprised to get out of the elevator and be immediately transported to the reptile house at the zoo

Minus the reptiles, our room was dank and dark and smelled weird It was like a musty-feet smell We stayed at several hotels on this vacation and this was the only one I said, “cancel tomorrow’s reservation, I can’t stay here” I don’t mind old as long as it’s updated and clean This place just creeped me out Maybe since the lobby was nice and bright they are slowly renovating the hotel, but it would have been nice to have seen signs of that Staff was nice and pleasant

Hanging with the Coopers

The hotel is dated The toilet in our room had low pressure and didn’t flush well The front desk and the rest of the staff were very accommodating and kind with the exception of the manager at the front desk

He may be the GM as well We had a really good rate and I believe because of that he gave us a room on the lowest floor at the very end of the hall despite my husband’s Gold status They have pool security on duty and I understand the need for him as locals probably abuse pool privileges, but we were told we could only have 6 guests in the pool area including room guest We had not been home to Florida in 3 years due to Covid so family wanted to come see us and with it being so hot and us staying at a hotel, we invited them to come see us at the pool There were only 8 people at the pool when we got there and within 30 minutes they were all gone before the rest of our family arrived We had maybe 14 people show up, mostly siblings with their kids and we were told we had to leave or book extra rooms We’ve always stayed at this hotel and had similar number of guests and NEVER had any issues Maybe they thought we were going to have a party, I’m not sure, but that wasn’t the intention and I didn’t like the way they treated us especially as paying guests I explained that we were home for the holiday and we hadn’t seen each other in years so meeting up at pool would be fun for everyone and we would be respectful of others They didn’t care and said it was against their policy for me to have more than 6 guests I asked to see the policy, but they couldn’t produce one I didn’t argue We all left We finished out our stay, but I will never stay there again They are not family friendly, unreasonable and uncompromising

Great property!Very clean, close to everything including, Malls, grocery stores, restaurants and the beach! The lobby is nice and the restaurant is a plus! My kids loved the pool which they hung out until 10:00pm!Rooms and bathroom were spacious! The fact that its located at the entrance of the IMG complex makes it even more practical!

Giselle Guzman

The hotel rooms are very modern and comfortable (we saw our friend’s room which is where they stayed), service was excellent and the hotel restaurant selections were extremely good We stayed at one of the villas because our group was larger and they were very roomy, we got 5 double beds split out through 3 bedrooms, 2 onsuite baths, plus an additional full bathroom If I was to go back; I would prefer to stay at the hotel rooms rather than the villas, there was lack of natural light, cleanliness in some parts of the villa, bathrooms and kitchen were outdated and the wall colors were too dark which made the place look it enclosed

There was an awful smell coming from the garage which was also very filty The price of the villas compared to the hotel rooms was only $10 cheaper per room

Monica Thomas

I selected a particular hotel room based on a sleep aid drink being included When we arrived at the hotel, the drink was not in room I phoned front desk but there was no answer, so I went down to inquire about drink

The attendant, left me standing in the lobby for about 30 minutes while he ran around the hotel looking for the drink He finally returned empty handedThe entire week up to our stay at the hotel, my daughter and I talked about this drink and we were excited because we don’t have these types of drinks in our country More importantly, we have trouble sleeping in hotel rooms so we were excited for such a thingTalking to the manager was NOT helpful as he was rude and disrespectful not allowing me to explain the reason for our disappointment I suggested he take the information off his website about the drink and he said he wouldn’t because they hope to get it again sometime – even though I brought up “false advertising”And these “Bear” beds they advertise are nothing specialDo not trust the glorious information on the website about the amazing sleeps you’ll have!

Jane and Jay are 2 of the sweetest people I have ever met! They really look out for their guest Breakfast was delicious 😋 everytime I had some And when I had to go early Jane made me a doggy bag to take with me

It was quiet mostly and close to everywhere I needed to be Will definitely stay again if I’m ever down there in there in the future

Grouper 305

We stayed here a few nights for our 39th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time! Jane & Jay were great host The place is well kept and clean Breakfast was delicious! Walking distance to so many places to eat and footsteps to the river walk

We had a 3rd floor room and with our own bathroom It was so very quiet sleeping Had a mini fridge! Jane always had fresh brownies and candy for snacking and water in the fridge If your looking for a relaxing great place to stay this is it!

Erin Macri

We had a great time visiting Bradenton for a few days and the Londoner was absolutely perfect Our room was super comfortable, clean, and perfect for my husband, baby, and myself! Breakfast was delicious and they made sure to check if things were gluten free for me (celiac disease) which i never expect! I honestly just assume I can’t eat breakfast anywhere! But they truly took care of us here The building is so cute and well maintained and it was a perfect little getaway

We really liked our bed in the Greenwich room and slept great Highly recommend The Londoner if visiting the Bradenton area!

Sherry’s morning breakfast was phenomenal! Cooked for us as we sat Natalie was exceptional as well She has a great smile and her excellent customer service was so appreciated

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again! Nice family atmosphere Very relaxing for us Thank you Sherry It was so very nice to meet you and have some great conversations!!

Jamie Hubbard

This is a beautiful secluded spot perfect for a romantic getaway or some time to unplug and unwind The setting is unique and the grounds offer many adorable places to spend time together or swing and read a book Breakfast is amazing and you 100% need to RSVP and take advantage of that! It does not have some of the conveniences that many are used to (individual temp control of the room, hair dryer, hooks and hangers

but it’s a perfect place to enjoy if you don’t need those things It was perfect for our honeymoon stay 😀

Xion Pentagast

My girlfriend and I came here for a romantic getaway, and we could not have been happier! The staff was helpful and friendly making sure we were able to relax and enjoy our getaway from our busy lives The food was delicious and really healthy I’ve stayed at a lot of fancy hotels and you always end up feeling like just another person but here we left feeling like family

Definitely 5 stars! The staff was so nice and helpful (Special shout out to Kathy at reception- she was terrific)! Even having the smallest room at the hotel, it felt plenty spacious, with a large bathroom and walk in shower, comfortable beds, and plenty of space to store luggage and items Superb location near shops, restaurants and activities, and near the free trolley stops I can’t wait to go back!

Emily Hayes

We really enjoyed our time staying at BridgeWalk We got to listen to the live music next door at Island Time while sitting on our patio, but when we went inside and closed the sliding glass doors you couldn’t hear it They decorated our bed for our 5 year anniversary that we were there to celebrate

Parking attendant was super friendly when we checked in Everyone was nice! This hotel is in a great location too being on Bridge St and right across from the beach Your view isn’t oceanfront, but we had fun watching people walk up and down the main street from our patio The rooms are very basic but have everything you need Because it’s not a luxury hotel the prices are really affordable We are so glad we found this place and would stay there again 🙂 We appreciate everyone’s kindness and ability to make it a special time!

I honestly don’t understand why this hotel has such a low rating (2 stars)

my mother and I stayed for 3 days and were very pleased with our accommodations The room was very clean and nicely decorated (even had DOVE toiletries available) the staff is friendly, and the continental breakfast was amazing!! Buffet style hot food was available such as eggs, bacon, sausage and even pancakes The only thing that I could complain about was the water pressure in the shower but hey, it really wasn’t that bad We will definitely stay here again!

From the moment you walk in you’re greeted by the two most wonderful young ladies with smiles that make you feel instantly welcomed!!! Our room was clean, very modern and overall very nice The pool was amazing and refreshing, the tiki bar was a blast with the most absolute best bar tender Denise, once she takes your first drink order she remembers your name and makes sure you are always taken care of, making everyone feel as if they come first Top notch service here from the office all the way through!!! This is by far one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at and I will definitely be going back as well as highly recommending!!!! Thanks so much for welcoming our family and making us all feel right at home!!!!!

My room was recently remodeled, sparkling cleanedThe hotel is very well maintained, security cameras everywhere and the laundry and pool accessible only for guestsExcellent customer service

This hotel worth every dollar spent

Joe Klapperich

This place was absolutely AMAZING Older? sure

undergoing renovations? Absolutely The room was spacious, updated, pristine and wonderful Check in was effortless Tiki bar was VERY nice, bar tender was friendly and prices were more than reasonableONLY ISSUE – this is a VERY INEXPENSIVE place where you are getting MORE than double your money as an experience HOWEVER – this ALSO means that the “Riff Raff” chooses tom stay there Persons can be friendly, or rude We found 80% friendly, the other 20% wanted to ENSURE that everyone know they were there, they were visible, and that they didn’t care what ANYONE else thoughtManagement did the best they could, but in the end – not a whole lot they could doWould we stay again? 100% yes! Will be our “go to” next time

We were not guests of the property but were invited to sit on the beach chair grounds by a guest because of our special needs baby and the convenience it offered her in the sun When the owner asked us to move, we explained we thought it was ok because there was 20 something empty chairs and only ourselves were occupying However we agreed to move and began to pack up our children

However his comment was “people who stay here don’t want to sit next to you” And for this I am writing a review We were moving when asked but didn’t appreciate the rude comment We are locals and expected more hospitality than this

Tracy Frye

Our first time here at this wonderful place right on the beach First time to AMI as well Probably one of the best vacations I’ve been on

Family owned, very clean with wonderful staff Everyone we encountered were so friendly from the guests to the staff I’m so fortunate to have snagged a room here and can’t wait to come back next year!

Our stay at the Joie Inn was perfection It’s decorated beautiful and gives off such a relaxing vibe! The rooms are filled with amenities to make your stay easy and comfortable The location is fantastic!! Just a short walk to the beach! The pool was so cute and a little oasis to call home for the week! We loved every aspect of our stay and can’t wait to go back!

Janie Alessi

We had the best time at Joie Inn! Every detail was so thoughtful – from the luxury bedding/linens, Cafe Appliances, local goodies waiting upon each guest’s arrival and the beach supplies provided for each room The location is also perfect! There is beach access right across the street and it was a much quieter part of the beach, which was so relaxing! It’s the perfect spot for a family vacation and we will definitely be back 🙂

Emily Lemmen

Our stay at the Joie Inn was nothing but perfection! Ashley provides the essentials for your stay which is so convenient The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and toilet paper The kitchen has coffee and filters for you as well as an array of beverages in the fridge and a local guide to the Island which is super helpful if its your first time visiting

With each room you get a beach cart stocked with chairs, umbrella and sand toys, its like you barely have to think about anything; Ashley thought of it all for you! The pool was great and the short walk to the beach made it so easy to get to We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back I highly recommend the Joie Inn!

The staff was absolutely excellent! They even let us print some contract material, which went well beyond what is required The pool and breakfast were equally excellent The one issue is the mattress for the pull out mattress was slightly soiled, but in no way takes away from the overall experience Very well done!

We stayed in room 3 for two nights, our reservation was for 4 nights but given the conditions of the room coupled with poor weather we decided to leave early If the weather had been nice we may have roughed the additional two days The dishes in the cabinets were not clean and many had food particles stuck to them

The wall above the shower is falling apart, towel bars are falling off the wall TV remote control doesn’t work It’s difficult to reach anyone in the office The people above us were intolerably loud with screaming kids and slamming doors The proximity to the beach is nice but it’s so close to the public beach that it’s very crowded I would not stay here again At almost $200 per night we definitely expected the room to be nicer

Donna Carchia

I am writing this review in response to a woman who complained about a bird drinking from the pool Several exotic (to me) birds descended into the shady and private pool area, standing beside the pool while I was relaxing by the pool I found this to be charming

In fact, my husband and I felt like our stay at the Anna Maria Island Beach Resort was a precious piece of paradise that we often talk about and remember our stay there (April 2016) with the fondest of memories Very comfortable beds Private patio areas A sandy path beckons guests to follow it to the beach, a very short distance away Richard took my reservations and answered all my questions before I booked He was very helpful He was around if we needed him but didn’t hover We arrived earlier than expected, and Richard permitted us to check in early He was very gracious We loved it there and earnestly hope to go back some day

Jordan Thomas

Anna Maria Beach resort is such a beautiful place to stay on the island, you truly feel like you’re vacationing at a five star resort! The rooms are so nice and spacious, with a large kitchenette! Beautiful large pool with tons of amenities like large checkers/ chess, corn hole, hot tub, fire pit, and direct beach access with lounge chairs! Spent Easter weekend here with the family and our 4 month old baby and we loved it! Staff were amazing, always asking if we needed anything! We will definitely be returning to Anna Maria Beach Resort!

Clean, spacious roomExcellent breakfast buffetStaff partly friendly

Service poor for the price we paid 220$ a night Toiletries were not refilled repeatedly Every day I had to ask for a fourth towel AGAIN We stayed 4 nights I mostly had to pick up the towel at reception myself The white-haired staff at buffet was not always friendly and helpful30 minutes drive to beachesPool area could use some deckchairsSigns there are misleading respectively make no sense

Joe Bullen

Paul at the front desk provided outstanding customer service, giving me a noon checkout time when I arrived at 2am Paul is also friendly and makes great conversationThis hotel only gets 3 stars because they have no bar soap

A $250 hotel rate on a Thursday night and no bar soap? Neither at the front desk nor in the room Really? $250 is much more than the cost of my flight from BaltimoreThis hotel will also place a $50 hold on your card above the cost of the hotel room Somehow, in the process of booking this room, I’ve accumulated $900 worth of holds on my card This is ridiculousAlso, the rooms here are dated There is no window shade Only sheer curtains hang in the window So, if I want to sleep late, the sun will come streaming into the room Also, the furniture is dirtyThe dated bathrooms, however, are clean

For the last nine years it’s been an annual tradition to spend Father’s Day there, but this year was the last The place had seriously deteriorated The safe would not work

The sliding glass door could not be locked from the outside There was one electrical socket and box so loose from the wall that that both would pull out of the wall Another socket had no cover – a child could easily touch the wires The shower drain cover was completely unfastened and would move around the shower floor exposing the drain pipe Upon arrival there was no entry key available – had to wait for one to made at a local locksmith There was mold on the cushions inside the unit In general – very, very poorly maintained

I went with a friend to Seaside it was my second time there The first time I admit I wasn’t entirely happy with my room but all in all the place is charming with a gorgeous view of the Gulf so I thought I’d give it another chance I am so glad I did

My friend and I stayed in one of the studios and it was terrific The Studio was not just straightened up it was cleaned everyday They were very generous with extra towels full size fridge nice kitchenette We could basically walk out of the room and unto the beach We were politely and professionally instructed about the nesting season of the turtles and we are very excited that turtles nested near the resort I am definitely going back Nice job Seaside

My husband and I checked in for a few days of relaxation! We had an exceptional checkin , beautiful clean room and incredible staff We were right on the ocean with a very nice patio The room had a comfortable queen bed, full refrigerator/freezer, coffee pot and coffee, dishes & silverware and plenty of towels

The view was beautiful We sat on our patio every night and watched a spectacular sunset! We will definitely be back!!Betsy & Ralph

The staff here is phenomenal The breakfast, always wonderfully stocked Housekeeping is kind

We stayed here 5 days Did not meet one staff member who was rude , and met many who took their time to ask how you was doing and have conversation They shampooed carpets often when people left My ONLY COMPLAINT was the pool was not cleaned 5 days where there it was not touched Was disappointed that we paid for hotel to swim at and wouldn’t swim in it because it was too dirty

Heather Carlson

Location okay Super confused on how it’s “remodeled” because the only thing that’s new is the entrance waiting area Carpet in rooms is disgusting, general decor in rooms is super outdated as well as TVs and service on TVs

I have never been to a hotel that doesn’t have a hook or rack for towels No hooks besides two on backside of bathroom door So no where to hang your hand towel or swim suits Super tiny closet that was just gross Beds were comfortable but that is the only plus to this place Fridge had stains in it My pillow smelled No place to plug the coffee maker in unless you moved it and then no refills on coffee for 5 nights there Went down one morning for coffee and OJ for my daughter Coffee was sour so most likely left over OJ machine was off which I didn’t know so I kept trying and finally realized it when an employee yelled “It’s off! HELLO?! It’s off” Super super rude Pool is TINY! I would say 80% of the people staying here were construction workers working in the area I would never stay here again I’ve stayed in a lot of places and this was the worst of them all

My stay at the Country Inn and Suites was great I just been relocated to Sarasota by my company and I’m glad that I was able to find this property Special thanks to Katie at the front desk

She took time to show me some of the rooms prior to my stay and she was very hospitable and professional I have recommended this hotel, to some of my co-workers that will be traveling down to Sarasota in the future

Our family of 5 loved this resort! It was family friendly and had a delicious hot breakfast included with our stay The pool was beautiful with fresh towels provided and access to lunch and dinner at a tiki bar and restaurant We loved being a short, 5 minute drive to the beach

The room was spacious and included a beautiful view of the bay with a gorgeous sunset Our favorite was the fresh coffee in the lobby in the mornings and fresh, filtered water infused with fruit in the afternoons/evenings We inhaled your fresh baked cookies too! We can’t wait to come back!

It was clean, beautiful and affordable but what made it exceptional was the staff They had the friendliest, most helpful employees I’ve ever dealt with at any hotel The view was amazing

It’s a short 5 min drive to the beach and the little things like water and cake in the lobby were a nice bonus too I would definitely recommend this hotel

I have stayed on Anna Maria island many times over the years It was my 1st time staying here and I must say that the customer service was amazing!! Compared to everything else I’ve been experiencing over the last 2 or 3 years of travel this should be a standard that all places follow Everything was clean! Their breakfast was amazing! And changed daily

Hands down will stay at this location again Definitely worth the value The only downside is it’s not right on the beach but it is only 5 minutes away

I’m not one to leave reviews but when a location is so nice and the staff so welcoming I always make sure to do so The location is darling, the atmosphere so peaceful and the views are breathtakingOne thing I do want to say is that the staff are great and honest people, I mistakenly left my charger (with my Apple Watch attached) in the room after I checked out and the staff was so kind to call me and let me know

Which gave me time to return and retrieve them Truly I am thankful for such true and honest staff! Thanks for making my stay peaceful

This is my 4th stay here at this hotel I’ve stayed 4 days/3 nights each week Kira has been beyond phenomenal with her customer service skills! Every question I’ve had she has found an answer

Each room has has been cleaned to expectation and each bed has been comfortable to sleep on Very inviting hotel with an easy check-in process I travel for work so these are a couple of things that are very important to me

Awesome location, and the room was clean and modern However

the pool was grossly inadequate in size based on the size of the hotel, with five (yes, FIVE) total lounge chairs that guests were literally fighting over The pool water was really dirty, gross No hot water in the shower, the room lock was not functioning properly and we had to lock and unlock the interior about five times before it would work No towels in the gym, no towels at the pool, and the second floor elevator would not go down (you had to push the up button, then get in the elevator, then push down) The breakfast hot food was cold, and the room AC was really noisy I regularly stay at Marriott for branding, but this visit overall was really disappointing
