The best experience and rare gem of a hotel with the best customer service and most amazing bar ever Kimberly got me a room with a view that was incredible Randi and Mike were both amazing and let us host a wedding for the bride to have family get ready and take incredible photos with their vintage furniture

I wish I got to stay longer and see all the quirky and unique touches throughout the hotel Scott the bartender of the best bar I have been too, shows his love for music and passion for food and cocktails It truly was the best experience and although I don’t go to Reno often I will always stay there Exceptional people with the best customer service is rare in this day and the additional comfort and care the employees took really was above and beyond

Simona Konegen

We enjoyed our stay, the service was good and the rooms were very clean We thought the room was a bit outdated and the sofa bed could have been more comfortable However, the king size bed was comfortable and the rooms were spacious with plenty of closet and dresser space

The parking was definitely secure We enjoyed the pool and workout room as well but never made it to the lounge/bar

Al Martinez

We travel for work and the Hotel was spectacular with pictures and antiques I was amazed The room was excellent and the service and attention to detail was outstanding

Thank you Michael, Randi and I believe Kim we was helped with extending our stay for another three dayI felt very safe here Everything was close by, within walking distance And I felt comfortable here at the Hotel Keep up the great work

Great place to stay! Our room was really clean including the mattressyes, we are those people that check before we put our heads down

The remodel looks really nice The light colors made for a bright comfy feel Only issue is that the room doesn’t have any ventilationSuper stuffy Front desk is super friendly The Ladies that I met in Room Service are quick, efficient and all had nice personalities Thank you

Jasmin Barnes

Elevators were awful and it was not very wheel chair or stroller accessible You have to call someone to unlock the elevator for you to let you in then again to let you out The elevator wasn’t very big so we got stuck because we blocked the sensors

The elevator to our room was a normal one and we got stuck in that one too You have to use your room key then enter the floor you would like to go to One time it worked for me but not someone else Another time my family member entered her floor and it took her to 3 different floors but wouldn’t go to the one she wantedAfter driving for days to get here we were exhausted and it’s not the experience we were hoping for It was hot inside the building and the whole place smelled like strong cigarette smokeI was under the impression that it would have been a great place to take my toddlers given that they had an arcadeThe arcade was very expensive most games were around $125 to play but some were even $6! Most of the staff in the arcade seemed to be young teens that didn’t really want to be there The shows weren’t playing until later in the after noon Most of the restaurants and bars were closed If you plan on stopping in during the middle of the day there isn’t much to doIn our room the ac was broke It blades cold air and we couldn’t get it to shut off of adjust them temperature There was also dirty, used Q-tips all over the floorUsually I’m not one to complain I look at the bright side of everything This experience however made it a challenge to do so I had high expectations and felt very let down

Emily Santos

I didn’t stay at the hotel just wondered the casino The Circus area is really cool Definitely a good spot for kids

The actual casino itself is starting to look a little dated There are three casinos in a row so you can easily navigate between all of them They also offer circus shows but we were told due to Covid they don’t offer the shows every day and no one knew exactly when they had the show

The is a high rise hotel in downtown Reno Located within walking distance of the many attractions / museums / historic casinos of Reno it’s a great location for visitors My room was clean, modern and the bed was comfortable

There was a mini fridge but no microwave The room also lacked a desk to work from nor was there a clock Plenty of fresh towels The staff was extremely friendly and attentive They offer free parking in a deck that is a 1/2 block walk from the hotel Since this is in the middle of a city you need to have your head on a swivel when outside, as you would these days in any city

Sarah Hail

Really great! Met my expectations and I didn’t feel like anything that was promised wasn’t provided The woman who checked us in even provided a microwave when we asked! Room was clean and didn’t have any weird smells or stains, also a killer view of the strip at night! They were also quick to fix or provide anything requested Super nice and helpful staff

And there is easy to find, complimentary parking across the street Will definitely be back!

John Shelton

I found the rooms clean and affordable, with good staff — very professional, very courteous This was a good choice The only concern I had was auto-accessibility and parking in a congested downtown

The hotel has an arrangement with the Cal-Neva, requiring patrons to park in the next block It all went smoothly, but the garage is rundown, with a fair number of homeless along the way, and the garage itself is pretty grungy

Had a good stay here The room was clean and well kept upon arrival The front desk staff very friendly and helpful

They answered our questions The breakfast was good, standard Hilton Which is one of the main reasons we keep coming back to Hilton The hot tub was out of service when were there boo These things break all the time Such is life The location is excellent The pricing was good Hilton does a hold on your account for a higher amount vs the quoted price but this will come off after a few business days Thanks again!!

Stephen Fitch

Hotel room had scuff marks on wall and bathroom/floors not well cleaned Hotel requires room service to be reserved 24 hours in advance The room I reserved was not available when I checked in

When I checked in, the hotel placed a fee of $54038 on my credit card, ($10808 more than the $43230 price quoted via the “Hilton Honors app” reservation for two nights) At check out my billing statement was for $43230, so that matched the quoted price, but it remains to be seen if my credit card charge will be corrected to $43230 When I asked the front desk clerk during check in about the higher charge, she said that the additional amount was for “incidentals” and that my credit card would be refunded the additional amount when the charges were finalized, (too early to see if this will indeed occur) Complimentary coffee in lobby not consistently stocked Hand sanitizer not consistently stocked in dispensersGood things about this hotel location and the complimentary breakfast was satisfactory (pretty much your standard hotel complimentary breakfast) Staff were pleasant

Denise Harvest-Dreier

Housekeeping staff was wonderful! Breakfast was super delicious!! Sausage Patties, Scrambled Eggs, Western Potatoes, Waffles, Hard Boiled Eggs, Cereal, Oatmeal, Fresh Fruit, Toast Breads, Bagels, Juices, Lovely Array of Coffees with Coffeemate Creamers and Teas Rooms were very clean Great place for families

Prices were very affordable Loved our very comfortable stay! ❤️😃

This is not a fancy resort hotel It is for locals and budget travellers who want a nice place to stay, but quiet and out of the tourist areas Right next to Sparks marina, so half the rooms overlook the lake

Stayed here many times over the last 3 years when purchasing and remodeling my retirement house Casino and restaurants are mainly used by locals Casino may be small, but it is nicely decorated and not a zoo like downtown casinos Restaurants are as good as in the big casinos, but much less expensive Highly recommended for people on a budget or don’t want the big resort hotel experience

T K

Western Village is just outside of Reno, in Sparks NV Usually I’ve stayed in Reno What a blessing this place is

They were near capacity on a Mon night They gave me a marina view room Great viewThis place was wonderfully quiet Maybe because it doesn’t attract young partiers I had one of the best nights of sleep I had during my entire week long journeyThis is my new go to destination for a fab night of rest, in a clean, nicely appointed environment without spending $150 or moreSparks is a great town

provoschoolbus

DO NOT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER! This place was amazing Clean, fluffy towels, extra bedding in room, coffee We had a “marina” view with no upgrade

The only reason it’s not a five star is because it needs work outside We literally almost drove away But we will definitely be staying again Not a five star hotel But really close

First time staying here Were there for 5 days and the staff is amazing!! My only complaint is the room was horrible smelling from cigarettes They did a spray which masked for a few minutes and offered to do something else but we would have to be out of the room and we just really aren’t comfortable with people in our room when we aren’t there so we dealt with it

It has been a prior smoking room as there were nicotine spots in the bathroom around the fan and in the kitchen above the microwave The room needs to be completely repainted and also sealed to get that smell out

Cindy Browne

Arrived here with no cell phone ( left in vehicle at airport) and NO luggage It didn’t get loaded on connecting flight Samora and Shawn were the most helpful, understanding people I’ve dealt with in a long time

They were courteous and patient with my situation and most useful with directions and helpful suggestions They really made my bad situation much easier The accommodations were lovely It was my husband and I in a suite that slept 6 with full amenities compared to inlaws at the Peppermill 3 crammed into small room I LOVE my WM life styleThank you againCindy

When you make your reservation you see Hilton and this boast about how clean they are After you check-in they tell you they don’t clean your room on the weekends For those of you that like clean rooms forget it

You’re not getting it You need towels You have to wait maybe 24 hours or go get them yourself Without exaggeration I requested towels at 6:30 AM while getting breakfast Left the room for the day and returned at 5:30 PM I still did not get towels Called customer relations then left the hotel again Returned at 10:30 PM still no towels Finally had to go to the front desk again and ask them to hand me the towels right there And speaking of breakfast if you like microwaved food then this place is for you Other Hilton properties have the bin of fresh scrambled eggs, meats, and potatoes Not this one This one has microwaved sandwiches and microwaved omelets Frankly I don’t know how this place remains under the Hilton brand I will never stay here again I almost don’t want to stay at any Hilton property again I attempted to get a hold of the general manager Joaquin Duran to give him a try to make things right but he must not be too concerned either since he didn’t call me back nor respond to the email I sent him If you like spending hundreds of dollars a night to do all the work yourself you’re paying for and get lousy customer service then this is the hotel for you Oh, no late check-outs either This place operates on “no” or “can’t” That is all I’ve heard all weekend

Sorin

pretty good hotel, i consider myself a low maintenance guest and everything worked out fine was treated really well, even in my full costumetowels were handed to me when i requested them without having to return the old towels for my room which was niceonly issues were that one of the towels in our room had a very visible stain on it but i noticed it and got new ones before it was an issue and that the bathroom door didn’t lock

great stay, first floor rooms are great

Sophie Her

The hotel was beautiful and clean The layout of the hotel and the rooms were very well put together The staff was really amazing and friendly as well as resourceful

They may have been short staffed but the clerk informed me about the situation and still brought the items I requested in a very timely manner I was very pleased with my stay and will definitely come back here The hotel did charge an incidental hold/deposit of $30 but it was returned after 3 business days of check out

The hotel and the rooms are clean and comfortable The hotel has a lot of amenities They don’t have a typical hot breakfast but they do have a grab-and-go breakfast

Which has lots of good choices for everyone The front desk people are extremely friendly and helpful They were able to check me in early and let me stay past the check out time It was extremely helpful due to my early flight in a d a late flight out They also provide shuttle service to and from the airport If you have a car then there a lot of places to eat within a 3-mile radius And if you don’t have a car then the hotel provide shuttle service to any restaurant within a three-mile radius I would highly recommend this hotel!!!

Booked the hotel room in advanced through a pet hotel vendor Somehow the hotel staff did not accompany me a pet room in advance Now I have to wait longer in the lobby

NOT PET FRIENDLY They don’t seem to care here I had better experiences at competitor hotel chains Never coming here again and NEVER going with a best western again

This hotel is aight They did a good job making my emotional support animal feel welcome There are two negative drawbacks, which I must make comment on

1- there is no lobby coffee machine You have to buy a cup from the restaurant, which is open for 3 hours in the morning That’s not great Coffee should be available in a hotel, especially a best western There are mini coffee pots in the rooms, but that’s not cutting it for the coffee aficionado2- Breakfast is only for 3 hours, at a cash restaurant

I was just here for the day to get my fingerprints done for my RN license Decided to stay here because of the proximity to the river walk and also a festival was just right out the door Napped through the festival, however

Woke up at 9pm but was able to find something to eat at one of their restaurants that stays open late The resort has a tiny gym enough to get your heart pumping until you get back to your gym The pool opens at 9am Valet parking was really fast and only $10 for the entire stay There were tons of Birds parked across the street from the valet entrance It was quite fun zipping around on them electric scooters Easy pairing with the app I was comfortable in my room but the room didn’t look like the picture from when I booked my reservation 😂 but my sheets where soft and my bed firm as I need it to be My room was clean and water pressure was great Reno is so tiny Seemed like a ghost town but I guess there’s nothing wrong with fewer people

I have Gamble and watch others gamble before with the machines My best advice is to gamble what you are fine to Lose I have seen people staring while frantically hitting the repeat button and usually throwing there money away

As that said, I take my time and have someone with me while gambling, for the social and little funWhat I do know for the spin muti-line machines is where you start at least 30 lines to bet on or higher The reason is mathematically is have a little better odds, but regardless the odds always favor the houseAlso, let’s say you feel comfortable betting ONE hundred dollars, the machine will go up and down Let say your ONE went to about THREE hundred, I will set a limit where it drops to TWO hundred I will STOP and cash it out, and will NOT go any other machineAlso, let’s say you loose that ONE hundred You can leave or try one more time with another machine for another ONE hundred If you do, and lost that other ONE hundred, then LEAVE! Most will be okay to lose TWO hundred bills for a night and don’t come back for at least for a whileFor all the wins and loses at the Casino will will always be in the hole It is for socializing, and the thrill, not trying to get rich

Joseph Vincent

I love the El Dorado I’ve only been there about a half dozen times, but the overall experience has been fabulous Great food choices, room service, concierge services, whatever

The casino is old school, but has modern gaming I dig the atmosphere The dealers and pit bosses combined to make my gambling experience very memorable, but mostly its fun And if you get sick of it, walk across the street to Silver Legacy

The location is right downtown so there are some shady people outside of the hotel but inside the hotel has a lot of character! The staff is really friendly and the bar is well stocked with great menu and good drinks Classy with a shabby chic look The event room that we used was fabulous with again great character

Shabby chic, music icons , nice details Highly recommend!

Breakfast in the restaurant was pretty darn good Huge portions to match the price The room was very warm

I kept adjusting the thermostat to no avail Called twice On the second day, Joseph came and fixed the issue But hot water and cold water were turned on Should only have been cold turned on He knew what the problem was and fixed it quickly Very dog friendly hotel Though I was told on the phone the fee was 7500, but at the hotel they charged 10000, there is a great little dog park right next to the hotel She to a festival on the street, finding the parking garage was very difficult due to all the blocked off streets Overall a decent stay

This is a decent hotel and is right in downtown Reno Right next to the Reno sign in fact It is also not a casino, which is rare

The rooms are nice and clean, staff is friendly There is a bouldering gym and climbing wall on the side of the building if you’re into thatThis hotel allows guests with dogs, which some people may appreciate, but it seems like they mix the dog owners with non dog owners on all the floorsI had an aggressive dog bark at me and my family as an elevator opened Some people don’t control their dogs and let them run around the lobby and hallways You also can hear dogs barking from your hotel room Also, I don’t want to stay in a room that had a dog before meI think they need to plan this out better and put the dog owners on a single floor down low instead of making other guests suffer It is also a huge liability if anyone gets bitten on their property Just saying

Two days stay Rooms have a nice view, amenities are numerous and prices as you may expect were near but not quite bay area pricing Service staff were well informed and quick to respond

At departure time however, the Bell service fell on their face however We called down, waited 45 minutes with no service, left the bags with our room door ajar and went downstairs Went to the Bell desk and asked them about the service for our room They responded with the name of the Bell person and that they should be down shortly An hour goes by, I returned to the Bell desk and they then inform me that despite the fact that they had told me it should be right down they weren’t allowed to actually touch the bags because no one was present As if me standing at the desk didn’t indicate that Apparently the Bell person did not inform the person at the desk there had been an issue an hour and a half ago and proceeded on their way helping other people This lapse in communication will cost at minimum 2 hours of my day and now they say there are so many people trying to check in and it may take awhile to get a bell person to me Talk about spoiling and enjoyable trip Although the manager at the Bell desk and the person at the security desk which is next door both are fully aware of this problem, nothing has been said done or offered to indicate that the hotel will be taking any responsibility for their oversight that caused the situation to occur

I loved the hotel; very family-friendly; I wish we had stayed longer The pool is very relaxing; kids enjoyed the Arcade and Bowling The front desk staffs are also amicable

Food is also good, and it’s very easy to reserve your table online But housekeeping was lacking a little bit, requested fresh new linen, but It took almost 1 hour to deliver

This has to be the best casino resort out here I went to all of them and I loved this one The max action arena was awesome especially the zero latency, there’s nothing like it

Hyper bowling was a new experience for me and I enjoyed it I even watched Viva le Cirque here and gambled a bit I wasn’t expecting to win but I did and the machines were paying out more then all the other casinos put together Every employee I encountered was friendly and provided excellent service I can’t wait to go back

It was okay

I specifically booked a two night stay to use the pool Was informed the pool and spa were not available because it needed to be inspected and the person was on a two week vacation Toilet would not flush, dishes were suppose to be sanitized in the dishwasher and they were dirty Mirrors were dirty and hair all over the bathroom floor

Ryan and his staff are laser focused on customer care, not plain old customer service I cannot begin to thank them enough for helping me when I was in a devastating family emergency to rescue my daughter from a violent domestic situation The rooms were exceptionally clean

The breakfast was healthy and delicious Pet friendly Thank you all!

Horrible place, torn couch/sleeper bed Clogged sinks Dirty kitchen (cabinets and sink)

Broken door and someone smoked weed in the roomThey have boiled peeled eggs in ziplog bags (come on, with the pandemic having a shell on is a no brained) Caitlin at the front desk was super nice and due to this I wanted to give this hotel a try However only 1 sink was fixed after my return and place smelled like someone smoked weed Kitchen cleaning didn’t happen as promised but management didn’t do anything about this

We dined at the Boomtown Steakhouse the other night Our waiter, Jiar, was excellent and very accommodating The food was delicious and reasonably priced

Staff were attentive and the restaurant had a pleasant ambience I enjoyed myself so much that I forgot to take my credit card after paying for dinner, so I had to return the next morning to retrieve it Even though the restaurant was closed, Jim, the manager, went out of his way to open the Steakhouse, locate my card, and return it to me with a smile (Thanks, Jim!) Great place, great people, great food

This is a place to stop and check out if you are looking for something small The card dealers are friendly, the one floor server is overworked yet had a beautiful smile Tip her well she deserves it

Not only was she serving the whole casino floor for drinks, she was cleaning as she went and moving fastMel’s diner is a great place to eat You can never go wrong with Peet’s coffee and the steak house is perfect for a romantic dinner The buffet is currently closedThe hotel for us was not a good stay The mattress was an old box spring that had seen better days The sheets didn’t smell fresh, they were stale smelling When you check in you are asked if you want housekeeping service during your stay We opted in, yet somehow that did not get marked correctly I spoke with house keeping before leaving the hotel and was told that they would speak with the supervisor to ensure our room was cleaned and fresh sheets were put on We came back after a long day of exploring Virgina City to discover nothing had been done I spoke with the front desk and was told they will ensure it’s done tomorrow but couldn’t do anything that night I spoke with a supervisor she said the same They wouldn’t fix the issue nor refund the night so we could go somewhere else so we cut out stay short and told them we were checking out in the morning They did not charge us for the cancellation I was told they had upgraded and fixed the rooms Maybe other rooms were and just my luck I got the only one that wasn’t like the pictures or descriptions (Update: day supervisor made up for the disappointment)Try it out you might have better luck The location is perfect It’s a one stop have what you need and it’s a short drive into Reno It’s also close enough to Virgina City and Carson City to explore and experience this part of Nevada with a convenient location that keeps you out of the hustle and bustle of RenoForgot to mention this is a great family location so bring your kids

Megan Marie

Loved the room and view, it was spacious and clean The front desk staff was very helpful and polite There is great cheap food 24/7 at Mel’s

The floor has a variety of machines, definitely something for everyone The bar tenders were very nice and attentive, and made delicious drinks There was live music by talented artists Had fun playing and luckily won a little! Overall had an enjoyable experience at Boomtown this will always be the spot to stay when coming to reno!

The hotel has great access to the highway, but it’s a ways from the downtown Reno area and the casinosService was excellent when we had an issue with the plumbing, but there was no room refreshing We stayed for 2 nights and were not given towels, our trash was not emptied, room not vacuumed, etc

We’re assuming it’s covid regulations??This was our first stay in a Marriott hotel We would stay again with this company

Jacqueline Almeida

I’ve been in over 20+ different Marriott and this was probably one of the worst in terms of rooms but the customer service was very good (besides the front desk grumpy lady that we agree should be changed when possible but we didn’t have a bad experience with her just felt like she was weird)The faucet was loose in our room but usable I got severe allergies in this room not sure why (I have bad asthma/allergies but I’ve been feeling great for the last 3 weeks of traveling and this was the first room I felt sick in!)Room was decently cleaned but I felt concerned that I found a pen spring under my comforter and a pill on the other bed (we have a 7 month old and a toddler so that’s super unsafe!)Overall we had a decent experience for our one night stay! 5 stars for the manager (thanks for the wine!)

Bessianna Robinson

2 night business trip Room was upgraded but dirty No one is at the front desk 90% of the time and they have the worst customer service skills

Sink was backed up, hair in bath tub, fruit and almonds on floor, desk chair broken, napkins on the water sprinklers on ceiling, stain on one bed, hair on towels I do not recommend I was in room 221 by the elevator and it’s noisy Staff entered my room without my consent and I had the sleep tag on my door Awful experience I want to post pictures but Google is not allowing me to do so
