Brittany

Great location and very nice staff The hotel is kept clean, they clean A LOT, housekeeping is coming almost everyday lol The hotel is packed right now due to the recent storm of Hurricane Ida but the people are nice

The noise from the rooms can travel some (thin walls) but it’s overall not too noisy Breakfast is a decent hot breakfast, I would stay here again!

Eric England

The room was great, the breakfast was great, the housekeeping staff was loud Be warned, If you’re working a night shift – this is not the place for you The house keeping staff is required to enter your room at a minimum of one time every 5 days

They will not work with you regarding the time I requested that my room be the last room serviced and was woken up at 2PM every 5 days (hurts when you’re working 5PM – 6AM!)

Shawn Thomas

My family and I are checking out today the hotel had a bad ant problem that they refused to address Also, my son was traumatized by seeing the police called on a young lady with a baby We didn’t get the whole story but she was very upset and talking loud

Apparently the hotel staff was harassing her about leaving late My son asked me “why are the police here? What did they do?” I simply just had to explain to him about being black in this country I’ve had similar conversations but he’s only 7 and has never seen it happen in person The front desk workers and manager who did that should be fired We’re going to the Fairfield next door

When we got in our room they had it warmed up for us Room also had a great smell! As two women alone traveling we felt very safe with gated entry The staff was so kind and helpful as well

Everything was clean and we loved all the outside amenities provided (Firepit, tables, covered lounge area) We truly enjoyed our stay while visiting to see Tool concertFront desk even recommended great bar and grill that stayed open until 3am and we had a great time there as well

susan hoffpauir

This place was great Gentleman at front desk was courteous and quickly checked us in He also advised he gave us upgrade due to membership

Place was clean and quiet despite being right next to interstate Would definitely stay again Only negative and not so much a negative but was unaware is they charge $50 deposit even even when paying with cc

Yesenia Ochoa

The hotel is okay, for the price Our room smelled a bit like mold, the bathroom door was broken, and the bathroom fan did not work I asked the front desk if I could switch rooms and they were super helpful and understanding

I opted for keeping my room as both the rooms had the same issues Breakfast was hot and pool was great, I was the only one swimming every morning (note, pool opens from 9am to 9pm) Overall, not too bad I would stay here again

Whoever commented within a year to 18 months had to be a friend family member or a paid employee/person to make false statements only to bring business to this hotel People just visit and do a eye assessment yourself as you walk up to the building entering the building the smell walls floors I will not settle for poor treatment

I’m still here for the one night stay Going elsewhere Over a hundred to two hundred a night to stay in a garbage smell hotel I couldn’t sleep almost 6am Getting ready to leave once daylight hits I loved visiting this hotel in the past Me and My daughter put carpet fresh down with a plug-in to help with the order But still paying out of pocket for services should have been completed before my arrival

Steven Duttine, Jr

For $650 for three nights I was expecting room service to tidy the room and replace towels while we were visiting Bourbon street; I guess not We paid ahead before coming and there was a $50 holding fee that would be “refunded” The entry smells moldy, no breakfast even though the website showed pics of some

Parking lot is not wheel chair friendly Beds are very firm and sink fixtures rusty and crooked Parking lot looks to have night security and the view from the balcony is very nice

When I went to check in, I was quite upset to learn that my reservation I made through a 3rd party booking website had been canceled without my knowledge What was even more concerning was that the hotel was fully booked for the night as were many surrounding locations However the staff did not let that stop them

Tiffany went above and beyond to ensure that I had a place to stay with them at night Above And Beyond Maria took very good care of me in the lobby and the shuttle driver even warmed me up some hot cinnamon rolls while I waited for a room to become available This is such an excellent and attentive staff and I seriously cannot thank them enough for bending over backwards to ensure I had a warm place to stay for the evening

Marcel Adams

Overall, the staff were friendly and the room was VERY clean I was most impressed upon entering the room with how fresh and fragrant it smelled Having a microwave and fridge was a plus too

What was my most egregious experience with Holiday Inn was their evening shuttle service My friend and I waited more than an hour in a pick-up area with no seating We sat on the cement ground We even had an offer from another hotel service to drop us off after his run if we were still waiting Adding insult to injury once the driver arrived he made no attempt to open the door like we observed with other services AND he did not greet us Not a word!

Karl Sodergren

A few months ago I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express St Charles while in New Orleans and gave a scathing review I don’t like giving poor reviews and fortunately this one is just the opposite John (pictured) checked us in and was super friendly and helpful

He even gave excellent dinner recommendations Unlike the tired hotel at St Charles this facility seems to be very well cared for It’s located in a business district Much better area and better parking The restaurant next door is new We took a chance because it was convenient It was very good I’ll also review it as well

I had a family emergency and needed to cancel a room for the FINAL FOUR, a night where the room could’ve been booked by someone else for such a high demand event Couldn’t cancel with FindHotel, had to call the hotel and was lied to by Ron Ron wouldn’t return my phone call after telling me they’d “look into it”

Left messages, nothing I’m out $600 for a room I didn’t use that could’ve easily been rebooked by someone else Lack of customer service from both FindHotel and Residence Inn will keep me away from these businesses for future bookings for myself and my company The lack of empathy/customer service for such an easy fix is incredible I’ll be disputing this charge with my credit card company

I stayed at this hotel for the first time during an all female motorcycle event The employees at this hotel was fantastic When we needed more towels it was there

One of the elevators went down during our visit but it was fixed in a timely manner The room was clean and the pillows were very comfortable If you needed your room clean you had to request for it which was understandable (Covid has changed everything) Lastly the cookies, the cookies, cookies they were so good! They handed these out as were where standing in line to check in along with a bottle of water I would stay at this hotel again

Robert Pendt

The hotel was clean and quite comfortable It was necessary for me to get my room key reprogrammed initially but I think I will try using the Hilton app at the next stay instead of the hard card Room temp was a balmy 65° but thankfully allowed for guest adjustment

The staff was especially accommodating for our group’s transportation needs The daily breakfast was adequate albeit a little pricey for individual expense All things considered I would certainly stay at this Hilton again

This is an amazing Hotel! There is a great restaurant and bar downstairs! Extremely clean & CROWD READY! The pool area & seating in back was awesome They were UNDERSTANDING of the fact that we were celebrating & having fun as adults! We just needed housekeeping to give us clean towels & bedding as we were there for THREE DAYS! We were told by a service person the washing machine was broken I think they had just grown tired of us as a group! But we are returning

soon! So get the machine ready! We love DOUBLETREE ❤️

Front staff is amazing The cleaning staff is amazing We had multiple issues and they were all taken care of immediately

Even with the NCAA tournament going on One star down because everything was dated and old However, keep in mind that it was still clean Meaning the staff was doing whatever they can to keep something old and falling apart in the best shape possible Kudos!

Natalie G

Honestly, this was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at The staff was super friendly and helpful, it is a good location right next to the Mississippi river and has easy access to highways to get on the road It’s in a good area

I was worried about the area when I booked it cuz you never know, but I felt very safe at this hotel!! Our room was comfortable and had a cute little kitchenette I wish our stay was longer at this hotel, it fit our needs perfectly

Collette Brown

Size of the room was nice for my family of four Could’ve used more lighting The hotel was pet friendly with several areas available for elimination needs

It seemed to be busy, but I didn’t hear the other guests when I was in my room, so rooms seemed to be well insulated My only complaint was the lack of explanation and immediate resolution of the additional two charges for my room totaling $309

The staff was Great they we’re very nice and friendly They made me feel welcome and not a burden when I asked for extra towelsthe room was clean

The bathroom could have been more cleaner They did have stains on the wall And a few pieces of hair in the tub But all in all it was a nice stay The beds was comfortable and the comforter was so fluffy and warm And the free breakfast was just ok It could have been better The juice tasted like water

Rebecca Page

I expected way more than what I got I can say the bed was really comfortable and soft The curtains make the room black and it stays cool

The bathroom was meh at the best The carpets are NASTY!!!! Looks like the don’t own anything to clean it with Front desk was snippy about having a dog even though I paid for him For the quality of the hotel I just expected more

Kaneishia Lovett

Upon arriving to the hotel, the clerk was very very sweet, engaging and, welcoming! We reached our room and, we couldn’t get the key card to work We tried multiple times to no avail I went back downstairs and, informed the clerk we needed new key cards because, the ones we had weren’t opening the door

She spoke with her co worker and, they both told me that was the room where you had to flip the handle upward instead of downward when opening it (The fact that I read this on someone else’s review as well tells that you guys need to conduct some renovations ASAP) Once entering the room, the stinkiest stench hit us It smelled like mold My husband checked the room and, stepped in a damp spot in the room closer to the window That very well may be where the smell is stemming from another couple with us, informed us that they had to be moved to another room because of the same issue We didn’t bother with being asked to be moved because, if there’s a problem in our room, that same exact problem in another room, causing them to be moved, there’s no promise it wouldn’t be the same or, worse in the next room We just stayed My husband would not even sleep under the covers because although the room appeared somewhat clean, with the exception of some wall spots and, the bathroom shower, the smell alone would deter you from wanting to access anything they offered The smell starting getting to the point where it was upsetting my stomach so, we had to stay out of the room as much as possible We had one roll of tissue in our room when we arrived Once we ran out, we had to constantly go downstairs to the front desk to retrieve more and, they still would only give you one roll when you did We had to do this at least twice That’s unacceptable For the price, we shouldn’t have had to beg for tissue or, not rest comfortable in our rooms We were on a weekend vacation away from our children and, couldn’t enjoy each other because, the room wasn’t up to par Very disappointing

We have stayed here a couple weekends over the last couple of months This place is very nice and the staff is attentive! The problem is the people who live here!! They think they own the place There is an old couple that has been here every time we’ve come and they are so rude!! Washing clothes they come in huffing and puffing like we are in the way

Breakfast, the stare you down cause she’s taking plates and plates of food back to their room!! We go up and ask for biscuits, 10 minutes…we turn the old lady goes into the back door and comes out with a plate full of biscuits for their room for 2 people!!! They are not good for your business

Sara Strom

Beware of front desk staffing issues/poor customer service, and the shuttle does not run at the hours they claim it does When I called before making the reservation, the front desk gentleman told me it ran much different hours than it does in reality Front desk staff also laughed at us when we called from the airport to ask about the shuttle–as if we should know it wasn’t running at that time– zero customer service

Also, when I asked to speak to the supervisor or person in charge either at check in or the following morning, I was told that no one is in charge in evenings or weekends so there was no one available Very poor experience, would not recommend

Nicole D

SMELLY Those rooms are not cleaned My initial room’s bathroom smelled like pee was on the floor

Went to the front desk They changed the room Next one had an overwhelming sweaty feet and corn chip smell as soon as I opened the door This is what I got after making a 10 hour drive and then not being able to check me in for almost an hour My job was paying for this stay as a part of a corporate relocation while I waited for my furniture to arrive I would rather sleep on an air mattress in my empty apartment I left I don’t have the patience for that at 12:30 AM

Where-is-Nemo

I’m giving this 5-stars but with the caveat that it be compared to other hotels of similar caliber The staff was extremely friendly, and the room was very VERY clean The breakfast was tasty, ample, and well-stocked and the coffee was delicious

I was a bit confused why the coffee in the room was not replaced each day but that’s fine as it’s available downstairs 24/7 There was always enough parking and the area is very safe to walk outside to the Whole Foods if necessary I did not use the pool or workout facility but noted them as being well above average, appreciating that while the pool is considered ‘outdoors’, it is covered so that you can even swim if it’s raining outsideI plan to always stay here when in town Really impressed–especially for the price paid

Unk

Room was clean and comfortable Bathroom was spacious and the staff at checking were great It’s in a solid area with abundant variety of restaurants

They lose that star for the lackluster breakfast It has got to be one of the most pathetic things I have ever seen at a Marriott Guys, you are a top tier hotel chain that charges a premium rate You can provide a better breakfast for your clients than hard boiled eggs in a ziplock bag and gas station sandwiches, just sayingAlso pack ear plugs While it’s not the noisiest hotel in the world you definitely hear every door shut as they slam hard for whatever reason

Leurc Efil

I’ve stayed here multiple times over this past year, and everyone from the manager, to the front desk agents, to housekeeping has been nothing short of amazingly kind and accommodating The hotel is safe, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the price is right We have stayed at several other Marriotts around New Orleans and Metairie, but continuously choose to come right back to this property

Thank you for taking such great care of us!

We stayed here for two nights because of a medical treatment, location to hospital was great, room was clean Most staff were pleasant but I am giving it a 2 star because of the evening shift receptionist The black girl at the front desk is very rude and doesn’t belong in customer service, especially in a Ochsner facility

She fails to acknowledge customer and when approached with question every time she made me feel like I was a bother Her attitude stinks Would never stay here for pleasure

terry pierce

The hotel had friendly staff, the room was very clean and lovely with great lighting However, the beds in room #388 was the worst beds we have ever been in at any hotel I normally can sleep on anything and never complain

I literally rolled to the edge of the bed almost falling out of bed I tossed and turned all night which I didn’t need to do before my medical procedure not getting any sleep My husband was in the other bed with the same problem He couldn’t sleep either We could of slept in the car and got a better night sleep During my procedure my nurse said she had experienced the samething This is a convenient location being right at the hospital but I doubt we will be staying here

Ruben Trevino

Hotel staff is nice and courteous Rooms are dated and toiletries are sparse Lack of electrical and USB charging outlets next to bed

AC didn’t pump out cold air During the day room temp was in the high 70s/low 80s and at night high 70s was as cold as it would get even with the thermostat at 61 degrees If you’re partial to a warmer room, this is the place for you

The cleaning staff failed They used the same sheets and blankets to make the bed for the second nights stay Makes me wonder if they did that when guest check out

Very disappointed in thatStaff at front desk was very friendly and helpful Recommended the river walk That was a beautiful walk and nice to sit on the steps by the river

Tasha Johnson

This hotel is NOT worth the price/money!Pros: Jasmine was very helpful with restaurant recommendations Location of the hotel is surrounded by various restaurants!Cons: First off, I requested a king size room and received 2 queen beds The bistro was closed for breakfast and dinner

Once I got off the elevator to go to my room, there was a big industrial fan in the hallway Floor must have gotten wet from the ice machine since it wasn’t working There were stains on the carpet in the hallway I stayed in room 313 and it can use an upgrade; in addition to the overall hotel The lighting was bad and there was a noticeable tear in the couch in my room (check out the pic) Also, the water pressure was low in the sink

When we checked in Friday night, our room smelled moldy because of a clogged sink Instead of chanting our room that night, we were told I’d be fixed in the morning By noon Saturday, still no maintenance

we come back at 4, finally there’s maintenance in the room The toilet wasn’t fixed until after 5 PM We go down statue to see if they offered any kinds of accommodations for the inconvenience, we were told by the rude front desk staff to reach out to the third party we booked with She also claimed that she had no idea what the maintenance issue in the room was because no information was passed on to her, as if she couldn’t have seen it in the maintenance logs We reach out to Orbitz, who calls the hotel to verify The very person we had just talked to lies and tells them there was no knowledge of an issue with the room I go back down to speak to a manager, she lies AGAIN and tells us there’s no manager on property until Monday As if that alone wasn’t bad enough, the room obviously wasn’t cleaned properly We found a dirty sock under the edge of one of the beds and there was tape covering the smoke detectors The cleaning personnel came in once during our 3 day stay We had gotten Fat Tuesday cups the night before, one of the three ended up on the floor standing straight up, nowhere near the trash, when we came back to the room, it was gone The extra annoying part was, both when we checked in and when they cleaned the room, they gave us 3 full towels, 3 hand towels, and 2 washcloths We had to go back down for extra washcloths There were 3 guests booked to the room!! The pool wasn’t even available during our stay The icing on the cake is that aside from hotels, there’s nothing else in the vicinity I DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NEVER RETURN!!

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a room This website will compare hundreds of hotel sites and typically will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is the best rated in this area

I’ve been coming here for a long time If you stay for a few nights you definitely will love it I’m sure! The hotel service and staff were very accommodating We had a family emergency and the hotel management handled everything and made our stay comfortable and carefree Thank you for the very clean room, hotel hospitality, good restaurant food and great customer service I will definitely visit again!!!

Room was clean did have an issue with the toilet first it was leaking then it wouldn’t flush but both issues were resolved the same day Relatively close to everything, did see a lot of homeless people around the park front of hotel, cable car stop and bus stop next to hotel Overall service was good

The pool was open which was great because I had been informed after I had booked that it was closed Do wish the pool was bigger though, it was more of a watering hole size no deeper than 45 feet So there was a family the size of 9 and another group of 3 people and that pretty much took over the pool leaving no actual room for swimming

Our initial room had a clogged sink The staff were super prompt getting maintenance to the room, and when they were unable to fix the sink, they immediately got us a new room The maintenance guys were super helpful in getting us new keys while we gathered our stuff

The bar is a great feature of the hotel The rooms themselves were pretty basic, which was what we expected They were clean and the bed was comfortable However, the toilet was a bit wobbly, which I suspect is due to replacing an old toilet with a slightly different sized one, and one of the bolt holes on the floor was slightly too big or the bolt was loose Also, the shower curtain rod was curved while the tub wasn’t No big deal, but it meant that the curtain tended to slide open on either end The curtain still kept the water in, but it made me a bit paranoid that I was making the floor wet

The valet staff were attentive despite their high volume, respectful and friendly The counter staff made great eye contact and very friendly and welcoming Our room had a beautiful view of the lake between the neighboring high rises

Our bed was so comfortable and the pillows invited us to deep sleep after our journey Though small the room had sufficient amenities Thanks for a great stay

I’m only writing as good because I had somewhere to lay my head at night I’m a Hilton lover and honestly thought from the images, this would come close When I checked in I got a letter saying water would be shut off for maintenance from 4-7 am

Peak times for those who get up for work right Then I was told house keeping services were limited due to Covid When walking around the floor (11th) I noticed how dated the carpet was that it was lifting up which could cause a trip hazard The gym was nice however and well equipped If you hungry while staying here, please take the time to eat somewhere else The restaurant downstairs is very very expensive and quality sucks If you enjoy old grease flavor eat there I’m really surprised that this hotel didn’t offer complementary breakfast at all Took me two days to get a mobile key after visiting the front desk 3 times Im really upset that I ordered food from downstairs but had no microwave to heat it up

I have always been in hotels where the rooms are clean and the amenities are decent enough This location, at $136 a night, is unacceptableThe first room that I had, the room DOOR did not close, absurd

Then, I had issues with the NEXT room that I was given, as it smells disgusting and the carpet is dank, musty, and damp I have never heard of hotel that couldn’t get the carpet right It was so oddAfter my nose adjusted to the smell, I went to the bathroom which looked unclean and half stocked Not a good impressionAfter spending the night, I woke up to try out their breakfast options I expected maybe some eggs, toast, and a yogurt “Very par for the course”, I thought I thought incorrectly The “breakfast” as absolutely horrible, with only yogurt, cereal, some store bought pastry, and that was about it I couldn’t believe that their breakfast selection was so paltry Like, I’ve been in cheaper hotels and inns where they gave a breakfast that at least included eggs and biscuits Really disappointedI don’t leave bad reviews, I always try to find the good in a place, but this place sucked Don’t let the reviews fool you Learn from my mistake and find somewhere else

Super friendly staff and a great effort made to make you feel comfortable, but this location falls short of standards in some notable ways Noise – it is far too easy to not only hear cars and conversations by people even in the parking lot, but of course by people inside Room condition – you shouldn’t expect too high of standards if comparing to a higher star hotel, but you do expect to have a room that doesn’t have that permanent damp feel, random nail holes around the bathroom, and shoddy drywall patchwork

The best part of the hotel is the reception area, which is neatly decorated and comfortable It is really unfortunate to leave a three-star review, but to be honest it was the friendliness of the staff that kept it from being two star The stairwells had people smoking in them The bathroom towels were either of the lowest quality or 30 years old I have no intentions of staying here on my return visits

I stayed here over the weekend, southern hospitality is alive and well! All of the ladies at the front desk went above and beyond to help with any questions and ensure their guests were well taken care of The room was nice and clean overall as well as the lobby It was nice, they had a coffee machine 24/7

They did not have breakfast, but there is a near by IHOP and Dennys I would stay there again, thank you

SUPER nice staff, specially the valet gentleman (he’s the only reason for the stars)Unfortunately I couldn’t sleep at all With the highway and Canal street on each side and windows that seemed to amplify noise rather than block it, you can hear every jerk with a modified tailpipe (every few minutes down here), every police chase at 3am, every car blasting is radio

Just as I feel asleep around 4am, and again at 4:30am, the microwave started blinking super bright in the dark room saying FOOD out of the blue for no reason waking me up againThe room decor is cold and uninviting with concrete floors They’ve replaced the cozy seating area with a makeshift kitchen strip (though the oven only stays on for second before overheating)Both plugs under the bedside lamps were having well out with live exposed wiresFirst room was hotter than the hallways or outside Even after two engineer visits, it was still 81 degrees in the room while it was 75 outside Front desk was very reluctant to move me until I said I’d be leavingSpeaking of front desk, they also wouldn’t upgrade me (gold elite) when I was first checking in even though it was mid week during a slow seasonMoved to another Marriott the night after and slept like a baby

The hotel itself was very nice I only gave 3 stars because during my stay they experienced an issue with the water Apparently ships docking affected the water pressure, resulting in NO water in my room

We couldn’t shower, toilet couldn’t flush I had to brush my teeth with water from a water bottle and no one really seemed to care They all took an, “oh well it is what it is” attitude I didn’t appreciate it; my group and myself had to leave the room for the day not feeling clean and they didn’t even offer as much as a complimentary bottle of water Smh, I understand that things happen but do better

Resauche Flax

The room was clean and overlooked Canal St The staff was pleasant The location was perfect for us since we like to get our steps in daily

We walked the entire French Quarter during our stay I am however extremely disappointed with the handling of room availability upon check-in There is a $17 per day self-parking (a block away) or $34 for valet

To start off, this hotel did not provide daily housekeeping like most hotels do, even though we requested it everyday

Very odd policy Staff was rude during breakfast and yelled at me for not using tongs when picking up bread Tone of voice ruined my day and they should’ve spoke to me, the guest, with respect Door that allowed you into side building of hotel room remained unlocked 24/7 and really made me fear for my safety Hotel said “It is broken” and brushed it off like it was nothing seriousOverall, staff seemed miserable doing the bare minimum at their job Very uncomfortable pull out sofa bed and hotel claims they could not do anything to make it better Trash overflowed in our room due to housekeeping coming only twice during my week long stay Housekeeping lady and an older lady at breakfast were the only nice people during my stay Everybody seemed to not care for my needs as a guest Next time I will stay somewhere else

This location was dirty I spent the first hour after we arrived wiping down oil and dirt smudges off of the walls It appeared as if children stayed here regularly and no one bothered to clean after them

There was old juice running down the walls There were white, dried stains on the arms and cushions of the couch The couch was super worn The ac in the second bedroom didn’t work, which was uncomfortable in 80 degree weather The pull out bed was covered in old chips and cookie crums This location was convenient but the decor was dated and room was dirty We walked into the room to an aroma of mildew I’m an Elite member but truly nothing Elite about this stay other than being thanked for being a member This has to be the third property I’ve stayed at in the past yr or that has left me questioning Marriott 🤔 Won’t be back to this property

Long, but please read before booking! If I could give negative stars I would The room was clean, and that is the only positive The microwave did not work, the icemaker did not work, and the AC thermostat had a lowering limit which made the room quite uncomfortable in the middle of a heat wave

On our first full day, the pool was still closed for “cleaning” when we attempted to use it at 10:00 am although the stated hours are 9am-9pm Eventually, hours later, someone came and added chemicals but did not clean the pool of sand and pebbles, etc No additional pool cleaning was done for the duration of our four day stay The same day, we realized that we could not connect to hotel wifi When we notified the front desk we were given a telephone number and left to deal with the hotel’s isp ourselves After more than an hour, variously on hold and troubleshooting, appealing to both the front desk (no help at all), and the isp rep, we still had no wifi Upon calling corporate customer service my husband was told there was no recourse for any of these issues When he inquired as to what purpose was served by the customer service number he was told, quite curtly, not to be rude, and at this point we gave up Finally, further into our stay we required additional towels since only one per person was provided My husband spoke to housekeeping, gave our room number, and asked for towels He was told that all of them were being laundered, none were available, and inexplicably, that the housekeeper had already spoken to his wife about it That simply did not happen and I am unsure as to what the purpose of saying that might have been Choosing the Metairie Residence Inn was a huge mistake It was frustrating and greatly reduced our enjoyment of a much anticipated trip The utter lack of concern by the staff at both this location specifically, as well as by Marriott Corporate is extraordinarly disappointing From a 30 year Platinum Elite member, beware

Location was good for the airport The staff was friendly We ended up having to switch rooms 2xs

The 3rd room we were finally able to stay in The entire process took a little over 15hrs As frustrating as this was since it was late and we had to get up very early for a flight, the gentleman working (JosephI think) was very helpful, friendly and apologetic None of it was hit fault directly But he made sure to do what he could to get us in a room we were able to stay in for the night I am sure he was just as frustrated but he never showed it Great customer service can go along way Thank you!

I am a lifetime Titanium member with Marriott so I have come to expect certain things Sadly, in spite of the friendly staff, this hotel is lacking It definitely needs updating and housekeeping is on the poor side

They are supposed to do a touch up daily, trash taken out, towels changed, etc, they may or may not do this with not being a couple times a week Changing the sheets only occurs when I tell the front desk it needs done, not every 3 days like they tell you Their solution to housekeeping not getting the trash daily is to leave your trashcan in the hall, which causes them to take the trashcan and not replace the bag When you ask for your trashcan back they simply say okay and walk away

nunya bizz

Me and bae took a short vacation but I really had some work to doIt was nice here: I included some pictures of our room, the pool, the weight room and the breakfast offered to those that were interestedDisclaimer: The pictures of the room were taken AFTER our stay and when we arrived everything was nice and clean and the bed was made

I think I’m sort of spoiled from the last hotel we went to where there was a generous breakfastSo I was alittle disappointed but this location was smaller and maybe had fewer guests as a result so maybe that’s whyIn any case, we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend it to family and friends if askedThanks TownePlace suites!
