I stayed here for a few weeks while I waited to close on my new home The closing process took much longer than expected The staff here, whom I got to know, were all SO helpful in extending my stay so I didn’t have to change rooms, breakfast buffet was delicious, room was cleaned each day, everyone was friendly and attentive, pool was warm, all the gym equipment worked

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during a stressful time Thank you to Marjorie, Robert, Shelly, Brianna & Dylan for really making this a welcoming place for my son and I to live!

Every hallway in the hotel WREAKED of marijuana GM said that since marijuana is legal that there isn’t anything that can be done about it—Hey GM, smoking cigarettes is legal too

Don’t sell a room that says NON-SMOKING then People have allergies to smoke—like me The mattresses had stains GM said that’s normal except the BIG ONE that we saw—she thought that was too much But all of the other stains were acceptable according to her The slick move of charging $10 a day for “parking with security” without mentioning it prior to booking meanwhile I did not see “security” NOT ONCE I was in and out of the hotel all day and night for an entire week GM says they mention the parking fee on their website I told her we booked through bookingcom—she said she isn’t responsible for what they say or don’t say What a scam The ladies at the front desk were very pleasant That was the only thing that was good at this MOTEL What a disappointment Homewood Suites has no integrity

L Ramos

We always try to book in a Homewood suites since there are 7 of us We had hoped to enjoy our stay by spending time in the pool

Unfortunately it was closed for maintenance the entire time we were there This was a major inconvenience as we had purposely booked our trip in the middle of winter in a place that had an indoor pool The room was fine, no issues, but not having access to the pool ruined the trip with no recourse

Amanda Grey

***DON’T STAY HERE!!!***Maids must have smoked in the room both before and after we arrived for a quick stay on our way to a family funeral Since neither of us smoke, and I have asthma, I wanted to report the room immediately because the smoke was disgusting but we had no time We went to the wake, came back to sleep, left early for the funeral and the manager is swearing that we smoked in the room and charging us

Liar liar pants on fire Don’t stay here The maids will screw you and you will literally pay with your wallet since the manager does not believe honest guests

I found this place randomly searching for last minute stays and I’m glad I did! The staff (specifically Liz) was welcoming and friendly! They upgraded our room and gave us an incredible view! Recommendations for great dinner/ drinks were endless and accurate The house is beautifully maintained and the grounds make it feel secluded and quaint The pool is beautiful

The views of the marina are spectacular Our room was large and perfect! The bathroom was updated and stunning Breakfast was amazing and the service was impeccable It was our first B&B experience and it won’t be the last! I won’t stay anywhere but here when we visit

Brian Shanahan

I’ve never stayed in a B&B before and wasn’t sure what to expect But, after staying at The Ocean Bay House I never want to stay in a hotel ever again I was greeted by Jen and Liz who are the nicest people you’ll ever meet

The property is stunning It’s situated right on a quiet marina with great views and a gorgeous pool Very serene and peaceful both inside and out My room, which was Bay Shore, was big, bright, airy, well appointed and immaculate Absolutely the cleanest, most comfortable place I’ve ever stayed I was so comfortable It felt like I was staying at an old friends house I didn’t want to leave can’t wait to come back! Thank you, Jen and Liz for everything!

Mary Farley

We stayed at the Ocean Bay House mid December and had one of the best B&B experiences ever It’s a beautifully renovated Victorian House with all the amenities one could ask for The managers Liz and Jen were very professional

During our stay Liz was mainly there making sure our visit was perfect She prepared wonderful breakfasts and allowed us to use the common areas to meet with extended family members She was so hospitable, we could find no areas of improvement Thank you so much Liz!

Nice, spacious, comfortable rooms with nice amenities Loved the separate work / sitting area that is separated from the bedroom Also liked that the toilet was separate from the bathroom

Beds and pillows were comfy and soft…made for a good night’s rest Front desk staff was super friendly and welcoming Breakfast was great and breakfast staff were very kind and friendly too Overall a great stay…highly recommended!!!

Sarah Young

I had an amazing time here at Springhill! The staff is amazing especially Tom from the front desk! But everyone was super nice and Friendly The rooms are cleaned everyday (Unless you don’t want) plenty of parking

Breakfast is basic but hot and delicious I would recommend everyone to stay here The only disappointment was that the pool was closed due to construction

Valentino Tartamella

The rooms are nice and clean, as one would expect, and the hotel features a tiny pool and fitness area for hotel members The complimentary breakfast is more casual; there is little hot food, one waffle maker, some pastries, coffee, and juice You have everything you need to have a nice stay, and the staff here are very friendly, but the reason for my low review is you’re paying premium prices for an average experience

Wait for some discounts to come and then reserve a night here

This is our second time staying here, Very clean and comfortable staff are friendly, I’m staying here for more than a week so I wanted the top floor they have 4 floors they gave me the 3rd The people above us you can hear every footstep Very annoying epecially they get up so early and I have to listen to them walking back and forth

This is not a cheap hotel why can’t they build better floors so I do not have to hear someone above walking back and forth Rooms are very clean comfortable beds mini kitchen which is great Bathroom clean but a bit tightAlso the breakfast was Mediocre Whose idea was it to put whole-grain waffle batter? Really?? Maybe let’s have a choice? Breakfast could be better weak coffee It’s a fairly new hotel but I noticed some wear and tear already from my stay a year ago Bathroom faucet very loose bathroom door lock broken Next year when I come back into town I may think about staying here againRequested the top four I

Brian DelloRusso

Upon checking in we inspected the room and found that the bathroom had not been cleaned well (hairs in the tub and a streaky mirror), the little bottles of mouthwash that were left for us were not replaced (one had a broken seal and no protective cap on it) and the floors were not very clean When I called the front desk they were quick to offer a new room and apologized for the inconveniences The second room was cleaner however, the furnishings were no where near as nice

The first room had a nice leather couch, the second room had a couch that looked like it came from a thrift storeThe second and third day we were there the hotel was hosting a baseball tournament that they didn’t seem prepared for The breakfast was actually a nice spread as far as hotel food goes but they could not keep up with the demand ran out of several items They also stopped serving at breakfast at exactly 9 which one a typical day that they weren’t fully booked would have been fine However, with the baseball tournament and lack of food supply there were still many guests waiting in line for food when the staff came around and shut everything down This showed a complete lack of hospitality Lastly the pool towels are very small and some of the most uncomfortable towels I’ve ever used Drying myself with sandpaper may have been betterGood location, but other than that I would not recommend this hotel

Heather Murphy

It’s on the middle of nowhere, not near anything to do! The staff although very nice seemed inadequate to fulfill there duties! We had booked a double with sleeper sofa(all they had left)got up to it & found a king! Not gonna work!! I’m staying with family & needed at least 2 beds and a cot!! Got back downstairs found another guest had a key to a room that was already occupied (what??)The hotel was booked solid(it’s long island on a summer weekend so what else is new)! The next morning before heading out I asked the front desk if housekeeping could change just the double(we were changing guests) he said sure I’ll let them know Got back later to find it hadnt been done(really? This is pathetic)!!!The rates arent cheap either So I will not be staying here ever again!!

Derrick Dubois

I’ve been in the city for the last 15 years for the last 6 years I haven’t seen my grandmother or my mother so seeing them in a Holiday inn that was close to where I’m from in Long Island was nice and their pool wasn’t anything special but it was special to me I also thought it was very considerate that they’re pool was not very deep the lowest level was 3 ft its perfect if you have kids or nieces or nephews In the morning they treat you to a buffet breakfast which if I wasn’t staying in a nursing home I wouldn’t have thought very much of it but after eating hospital food for so long it was like gourmet if you know what I mean

Average and clean hotel with pleasant staff Major complaint is that the Hotel has its main floor reception area bathroom locked and my 75 year old husband had to walk to Starbucks to use a bathroom The reason given “due to Covid” doesn’t make sense since they have an open seating area, breakfast which is included, dining area and indoor pool all open

Just not the bathroom

Dana Olszewski

We never even stayed in the room it was so bad it smelled and everything was very sketchy at check in There was smoke smell and marijuana in the room and coming from the other rooms was partying I was told I still had to pay even though I was not sleeping in that environment and no other rooms available

I switched to a new hotel bc it was so bad The security guard at the front did nothing about the parties and left when I was complaining to the front desk which seemed very odd I was told I could not speak with a manager that they could only be emailed Worst experience ever Was in the hotel maybe 15 minutes Something just was not right

Tara Flaherty

Avoid this property at all costs! Filthy with the most sketch staffThousands of hotel nights and this property is hands down THE WORST!Staff rude tooConcerning activities at this property

Marriott should investigate and be worried about their trademark associated with this property

I chose this hotel because they advertise an airport shuttle, which they do not have in service Therefore, I had to spend nearly $50 for an Uber Additionally, I had an early flight

The checking person told me there would be a few breakfast items to grab on my way out However, there was nothing, not even coffee available with no one in sight at the front desk The room at least was very nice and clean

David Wright

This place has really gone downhill Sofas and chairs are ancient and sag to a point of being unusable The counters are wiped clean but it it is clear from the grease on cupboards that others have been cooking there

Air conditioner is so noisy you can’t sleep No hot water one night The staff is friendly and helpful but clearly the place is not taken care of

Marilyn Clarke

On 3/26/2022 I stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn in Holtsville, NY Before arrival my sister called and spoke with Gio Guilfucci to request a credit authorization form so she could put her credit card down as payment for my stay Gio was so friendly and provided very prompt service, when I arrived I was greeted with a smile and the whole check in process was such a pleasure

I felt very welcomed and attended to, I would definitely recommend this hotel just on the customer service alone I look forward to booking again 😊 Thank you again Gio and Marriott for the wonderful stay!!!

Great location, near shopping centers I am a fan of Hampton Inns, they provide quality, affordable temporary rooms Our room was clean, there weren’t enough linens or toiletry supplies available

It was nice that the pool was open Breakfast was good Midday snack, and all day hot beverage station is a nice touch Convenient to where we needed to be I would definitely stay here again

Paul Baran

I have stayed at this Hampton Inn many times and have never been disappointed But by far this last visit was awesome (4/27/22 thru 5/2/22) The desk staff are wonderful and very accommodating

They took care of all of our needs during a very difficult time for my family We had booked 3 rooms and the staff made sure the rooms were kept together on the first floor for us A special recognition to Bobby(at the front desk) and Gabrielle (Sales Director) for helping me set up our rooms before my family had arrived from Florida The breakfast was a perfect start to the day and we enjoyed the quiet evenings sitting in the lobby with family The Evening staff even provided a nice care package to put a smile on our face during our tough time We have stayed at many Hampton Inns and by far this was our best experience, Kudos to the entire staff If you want your room cleaned you must tell the front desk, which was never a problem A++++++ Thank You

Darlene B

We had our wedding at the Three Village Inn We chose them because for multiple reasons First Tom our point of contact was incredible from the sales process all the way through to the big day

He made everything very east and fun Next, the banquet rooms and grounds are perfect for a fun not to over the top wedding We were also able to sample the food which was amazing and so hard to choose what we wanted Now the day of the wedding went off without a hitch, Ashanti the bridal attendant left no detail undone and was with my bride and myself every step of the way Our host walked us through everything step by step and made us look like we’ve done this many times(we haven’t) If your looking for a wedding, or party venue on Long Island book the Three Village Inn you will not be disappointed

Rachel Karduna

i was at the three village for my best friends wedding most of the staff was very sweet and helpful however, the woman who runs around in a pantsuit was not

she had been nasty to multiple friends and spoke badly about guests theres no reason to be nasty, especially not to guests i’d advise her to try to keep it together before other people start speaking out

We just checked in and have always enjoyed our stay here over the years We have come for quick getaways, had parties here with our family and friends and enjoyed the restaurant and club The rooms have always been perfect and the staff wonderful

Until today We booked a specific room because we are traveling with five people 2 beds and a pull out When I arrived I notice one of the papers said $239 but I didn’t think anything of it because I thought to myself the A balance would be taken care of on check out We get to the room and it’s the wrong room Not the room we paid for I go back to the desk and the attendant says “ well yea we ran out of rooms and my manager just left and gave you a discount” no phone call at any point to tell me this as we came from four hours away So I explain this won’t work We need the room we paid for I asked to speak to the manager and she goes in the back and says “ he said he won’t talk to you he is off now, not much more I can do we are sold out, we can make up the sofa” Meanwhile the sofa sleeper was for the two kids so we are still short a bed Terrible customer service and communication! So disappointed

Patricia Bugland

I was at Danford’s for a Sunday Brunch, not a weekend stay The place is so very pretty! Service was great My friends and I were seated at a lovely spot facing the water and enjoyed the fine food in a lovely setting on a gorgeous day

We were all sorry that the pandemic kept us from a return visit for so long, relieved that it survived I hope to be back this summer!

Matthew Repecki

Rooms are in pretty rough shape even after renovation, do not get a street view room if u want to sleep as it is obnoxiously loud Front desk staff is nice but can do little to help other than offer a 20 percent discount Not really worth the price of the rooms at all, is similar to a 2 star hotel

Nice area and views though once you leave the room

We stayed for three nights in early August We had room 12b, which had a balcony on the second floor, which was a nice feature The hosts (Brad and Jeff) were very nice, friendly and accommodating

Only a few blocks from the beach, restaurants, groceries, bike rental, ferry service Outdoor shower was great after a day at the beach Beach supplies were readily available (chairs, umbrellas, towels) The room was clean and well appointed for a short vacation like this for two people, with fridge and microwave, but no stove The microwave did short out the circuit breaker, we made Brad and Jeff aware and I’m sure they’ll address the issue Overall, very enjoyable and we’d stay there again

Anisa

One night was not enough! I came here when I stayed on fire island and it was a great experience Jeff who runs the place was super friendly and accommodating Checking in was very simple and straightforward

The room we stayed in was cozy and super clean Downstairs in the main area there are small snacks and other tolietres to purchase via an honor system they have going on, they also provide beach chairs and towels to take when u head over to the beach for no chargeLoved the outdoor seating, and overall vibe of this place Would definitely come back for more nights and with more people!

Laura S.

Brett and Jeffrey were amazing! From the moment we walked up that boardwalk onto that beautiful cozy, cheerful deck all decorated with Brett’s beautiful well taken care of annuals, which are everywhere! They took care of our every need , and with a smile might I add! The rooms have everything you need You won’t need to bring any beach supplies as they have chairs umbrellas and towels! I would highly recommend the Seashore hotel! You will love it! The views of the bay are also a plus! Thank you Brett and Jeff for everything!! We will be back!

We stayed here to be close to a wedding in Great River and also to my sister in law’s house in Bohemia It’s our “go-to” hotel for these kinds of weekend visits and we couldn’t be more pleased with this place It’s clean, the rooms are great and spacious, the front desk service is unbelievably pleasant (yes, even during and after COVID) and they had the sweetest, most helpful breakfast server

I don’t know if they’re paying their employees well, but it certainly seems like they’re doing something right to have hired the best staff It’s always an enjoyable stay Thank you!

Had an overnight stay for a wedding The block of rooms reserved was not clustered together The room smelled of smoke, despite the big sign at the end of the corridor that it was a smoke free building

The AC was weird- it would kick on very low, then go to full fan very quicklyThe bathroom was clean and modern, good shower pressure and controlThe staff was very pleasant, and despite having guests for 3 weddings, was on top of delivering gift bags for each without problems The breakfast the next morning was scrambled eggs, bacon, muffins, croissants, bagels, yogurt, and coffee There could have been more tables and chairs, based on the number of registered guests for that wedding

I am a Hilton diamond member with over a million miles and I travel to this area twice per month – our corporate HQ is nearby I kept this hotel in my rotation of local places I stay up til now – long after colleagues decided this hotel was no longer up to par for various reasons But today I closed the book on this hotel

Simple issue that could have been resolved so easily, but Albert at the front desk chose to quote hotel policy rather than listen to me As a diamond member every Hilton provides you with free bottled water and quite often they are very friendly and don’t really care if it is water you choose or another drink When I checked in I told the woman at check-in that as a diamond member I get water but would rather have diet cokes She told me to grab whatever I wanted, but must have misheard me, as upon checkout, I noticed I was charged $5 for the diet cokes I explained the confusion to Albert at the desk the next morning at checkout but he would not take the $5 off my $200 bill – just quoted policy – free water – not diet coke As a former manager of a retail store -as well as a frequent traveler – I know how easy it would have been to smile and apologize for the confusion and credit the $5 for the drinks And of course, I am not hard up for $5 – this would be paid for by my company anyway It was of course the principle of the matter To pick a battle with a diamond member over two diet cokes was just stupid and I have canceled my two future reservations and won’t come back This should have been so easy for him
