Beautiful place right on the lake The lakeside rooms are spacious, comfortable and well-appointed The available watercraft made for a perfect lakeside vacation

The pool was clean and great to enjoy after a hot summer dayWe came for a wedding and it is a great combination of casual and gorgeous Everyone looks great in the beautiful light and being simply in a place where you relax and breathe

Terenia Benedict

I was very pleased with my one-bedroom condo The place was spotless The towels were nice and thick and the bed was very comfortable

Great water pressure and lots of hot water I take very hot showers and the water temperature at the end of my shower was the same as at the beginning The cookware was a bit dated, but certainly functional The coffee they provided was delicious, I thought The staff were very friendly and very helpful I was there at the beginning of the week when the restaurant was closed so I can’t comment on the food I was in town for a funeral which unfortunately didn’t happen because a family member came down with Covid Whenever we reschedule I will most likely stay here again

Shannon Emmons

I was a guest at a wedding held there The atmosphere was rustic with a perfect lakeside service and reception was across the street, on the 2nd floor of the restaurant/taproom Beautiful view of lake off the balcony

The staff I found to be very friendly and accommodating I had the Shrimp Scampi and thought it was delicious My husband had the Roasted Chicken and thought it was pretty good as well

The Red Clover Inn hosts the most beautiful wedding events I never wanted to leave this hidden fairytale of a place Not only are the grounds amazing, but the staff was punctual and flexible all at the same time

They even dress to impress! The ceremony was beautiful and the flow of the weekend wedding was wonderful Carol knows what she’s doing and it shows! I would love to have my own wedding here someday

Derek Rudman

I officiated the wedding at the Red Clover Inn It was nothing short of truly magical The staff could not be more on top of making this event a true celebration

The place was absolutely stunning and the food was off the hook Everyone had an amazing time truly bonding in the most beautiful space this Inn creates Not only one of the best weddings I attended but one of the best events I have ever witnessed due to the staff, led by Carol and Mike and the Inn’s owners Well done! Brava!

Jen- Fit & Fun Travel

Very cute and homey B&B in close proximity to Rutland, Woodstock, Killington and more! I only stayed one night, and there was a mix up with my reservation but the innkeeper couldn’t have been better about it The restaurant is currently closed but a Keurig is available for coffee and a great sugar shack is a few minutes down the road (breakfast and lunch)

No complaints! We booked this the day of staying, the bed was comfortable and the bedding smelled so good – very clean! The deluxe rooms have mini fridge, which we appreciated as well Deluxe rooms also have tubs, which we didn’t use but would be nice My husband is hiking the AT and this was perfect for us

Breakfast is bagels, muffins, donuts, coffee Not a huge selection but definitely really nice to have right down the hall If we were ever in the area again, we would stay here again

Shad

The staff was helpful and attentive and worked quickly to meet our needs They were down-to-earth and kindThe rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and the location is beautiful

Sure, it’s a bit datedbut that’s to be expected for an affordable ski lodgeI’m looking for excuses to go back and will likely stay here again

Angelo Graci

Great service here, very friendly place Delicious and hardy free breakfast is served and very convenient if rushing to the mountain Nice hot tub and sauna for anyone nursing injuries it’s open until 10 and helps get in all those ski days

They are so friendly here, I love it Great prices, great atmosphere, so close to the mountain, we were upgraded to the suite for free Originally came for the best price, obviously not a 5 star hotel so don’t expect that but it’s still a cozy little place that’s great if you don’t complain a lot, keeps us coming back for the service and atmosphere, everyone I go with loves it over air BnB, the staff here is trustworthy too, my girlfriend forgot a necklace and some things by the hot tub, staff went out of their way to return it to us quickly

The Trailside Inn is a lovely venue, and I don’t often use the word “lovely” It’s in a great location, run by super nice people, and has so many positives Any possible negatives have been well documented in other reviews (walls are thin, yes; no TVs in room, so what

)If you are looking for a wedding venue this place must be amazing in the summer, but for us it was a perfect ski chalet complete with boot warmers, great breakfast, super comfy bed, and so much moreI am incredulous that anyone could leave less than a perfect review, especially since the innkeepers literally work 12 hours each a day, every dayI will definitely return and would even consider going back in the summer, just to experience it in a different seasonThank you Joshua and Ann for a great stay

Kaye Larson

Wonderful hosts, excellent location Peaceful get-away with with plenty of things to do near by Like covered bridges? Check

Like waterfalls? Check Food? Hiking? Shopping? Check!!! A dream wedding location and again, the hosts, Josh and Ann, tend to every detail Thank you for all you did to make my son and daughter-in-law’s beautiful wedding weekend special

Sean G

One of the best weekends of my life Had a wedding here, and the owners went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfectIf you’re considering an event here, you should immeadiately choose Trailside for it

I could not possibly be happier with how everything turned out, and will make a point to return during ski season for more of the same environment

This was perfect for our quick overnight stop on our drive from Bar Harbor to Philadelphia The people at the front desk were so welcoming and inviting The rooms and bathrooms were super clean

The bathrooms were a little outdated, but that was no problem for us because they were still super clean and in perfect working order The design of the hotel, with separate buildings kind of like a lodge, provided a lot of privacy The breakfast was really delicious, especially the waffles and the coffee

PeterJ Romano

Quiet, clean amenities Friendly and highly knowledgeable and helpful staff, Sam gave us so much info and background about the area, places to go/see, things to do! Amazing fellow, really should be a tour guide (Thanks Sam!) Steve at the front desk is also an artist and his nice paintings are on display in the dining area! You helped make our visit to the area even nicer guys!!

Sheri Deerhake

I gave 2 stars because it was clean The room/bathroom was good sized, beds were comfortable, and it is unique in that it’s more like small apartment buildings spread around a nice common area Without these things, the rating would have been 1

The mini fridge in the room didn’t work They sent a maintenance man who fiddled around with it, reset the breaker, and said he thought it would be OK It wasn’t About an hour later, another maintenance man showed up with no warning, checked it out, and said that it was old and temperamental and would need more work than he could do then Duh It makes no sense to me that the room was even rented when one of the amenities obviously didn’t work There was no offer to bring us a new fridge (not a difficult thing to do for anyone who can carry 40ish#- unplug it, take it out, bring in the new one, plug it in) or give us a different room The hotel was obviously not full When checking out, I went to the vending machine for some cold pop The selection was low and limited I put a $20 in and was given $17 in quarters I then went to the front desk and the receptionist wasn’t going to switch it to bills for me I was flabbergasted! She was on the phone forever before even greeting me and then she flatly refused to take the quarters When I told her there wouldn’t have even been an issue if the fridge in our room had worked, she started to be more helpful and suddenly found some quarter rollers, which once I put the change in, she did exchange it Then she apologized for the inconvenience and said that she would give us a discounted rate for the room Fifteen minutes later after a bunch of tapping on the keyboard, and chatter about the process not working for some reason, etc, I left without a discounted rate and feeling decidedly grumpy The overall experience was just not worth the room rate As an aside, the restaurants in the area close early, only one offered delivery, and for some reason 2 of them seemed to have their phones off the hook for more than the 15 minutes that we tried to call and place an order for pickupUpdate: After posting this review, the manager left a message for me to contact him I left 2 messages for him, both with no response 3 strikes, you’re out

We greatly enjoyed our one night stay at Crisanver House It was a snowy evening when we arrived at the Inn and we were warmly welcomed by Carol and Andrea Our room in one of the cottages was warm and comfortable

Breakfast in the beautiful conservatory the next morning was delicious and bravo to the locally sourced and organic ingredients served The seasonal snow made the view of the Green Mountains even that much more inspiring Thank you, Carol, for the fun conversation!

Kathryn Smith

Our five-night stay at Crisanver House was one of the most relaxing vacations we’ve enjoyed in years Our room was both extremely comfortable and impeccably decorated, as is the entire house Carol, Michael, and Andrea are superb hosts – always helpful, and ever ready with recommendations regarding local attractions and activities

The staff is wonderfully friendly and attentive The grounds are beautifully kept, and we made good use of both the tennis court and the swimming pool and enjoyed local theater, restaurants, and historic sites We looked forward to Carol’s absolutely delicious breakfasts every morning and couldn’t decide whether we enjoyed them more in the beautiful sunroom or on the deck, with its spectacular view We wish we could have stayed longer and would love to return another summer

We stayed in this inn several times in the past when our son was a young kid We loved it, especially the full breakfast included in the price We wanted to book this inn again for our upcoming trip in March

However, our son is a big boy now and he needs a separate bed from us This inn only has one bed each room, so we have to book a different inn If the owner will consider having a few two-bed family room, we would love to stay with you again!

Matt Champlin

We very much enjoyed our stay at this quaint family run location and both Bill and Mary made us feel very welcome Rooms were nice and clean, and the common areas were very cozy with a roaring fire during the cold winter nights The location was perfect, less than a mile from Killington and only a few miles from Pico mountain

The on-site restaurant was excellent with world-class foodUpdate: came back in 2022 still wonderful here although now they are only doing dinner Thursday through Sunday Breakfast still served homemade each day!

Staff was very kind and great! My family and I had to check out a day early as we were trying to make it home before a blizzard hit home! We had no issues checking out!!The little gift shop attendant/distillery attendant was so kind and nice! Wish I got her name! I love the convenience to the mountain for the snow activity and shuttle service is a PLUS! Breakfast was okay, some muffins, cinnamon swirl cake, oatmeal, coffee… etcthe balcony is a HUGE plus and would highly recommend a room with the balcony as you get a beautiful view of the mountain!I will definitely stay here again but the beds are EXTREMELY uncomfortable and firm and the pillows were very flat! Other than that, clean room, clean bathroom and beautiful atmosphere!!

I sincerely hope they got rid of the “management company” that had an office onsite We went out of our way to book here for the amenities and called them specifically to confirm the amenities where available, where turns out we where lied to Booked through AirBnB via the management company

many issues with the listing including incorrect photos and stating laundry was in unit After countless emails and phone calls with them and AirBnB we just gave up an accepted the fact we lost Even an apology would have been niceExtremely disappointing experience

Kelly

Room was dirty! Everything from the table, dishes, rug, and sofa! Even the trash from previous people was still there No one to get in touch with I was on hold for over 30min and had to clean the room myself

Ended up leaving a day early cause housekeeping was supposed to come and never did Only good thing was the location You can walk to Snowshed lodge at Killington or take a shuttle bus to other parts of mountain

Tim Cunningham

Great location – just across parking lot of Killington ski resort So you can just walk across parking lot to get to the resort Other condos are close too, but a longer walk

My unit had direct view of the ski slopes, and had high vaulted ceilings that make the unit feel very spacious The price will be higher for this location though of course

Great Resort / Hotel Awesome heated pool and hot tubs and spa area with gym, sauna and steam room Easy access to skiing with a quick walk across the pedestrian bridge to the Snowshed base area

Our only complaint was that the Murphy bed in our studio suite was not very comfortable Otherwise great experience and we came at the perfect time – lots of snow but not terribly cold and almost the entire mountain / trails were open Well groomed The skiing was excellent

Ski in and out (kind of – you have to walk over the bridge) Definitely the place to stay when in Killington The proximity to Snowshed and to the lifts make it very convenient

We stayed at a studio with a Murphy bed The only complaint I have is the smell in the room A combination of disinfectant and humidity Having said that it is still the place to stay You can enter the hot swimming pool right from the spa Then you can jump in one of the two hot tubs next to the swimming pool Sitting in the hot tub and watching the mountains behind a curtain of steam is what you need after a taxing day of hardcore skiing Oh if you forget your bathing suit, not to worry The spa has some for you to buy The staff is friendly and very helpful

Antenna Wilde

In the Wilde room on Saturday 11:30 – 2ish, the staff manning the buffet were very unfriendly Hardly any eye contact, dismissive They made us feel like we were imposing on them

To be frank, they came across as hating their jobs (and/or resenting us for being well-off?) The truth is, we were coming from a funeral and had splurged on the event Personally I am quite poor and appreciate those who work in the service industry, as I am also in the service industry, but not here They made us feel very unwelcome, and it was actually uncomfortable returning to the buffet for something else to eat I never said anything to anyone, and would not have made this review until after speaking with my wife today, who mentioned how miserable they seemed, and how uncomfortable she was tooIt is indeed difficult to find good help these days, and I sympathize with the management at the Grand Resort, but hope they can effectively convey to these staff members what their job actually IS Their job is to be kind, helpful, and attentive, not condescending and resentful They didn’t know us at all, yet seemed to pass judgment without a word exchanged If they had an open mind and engaged in conversation, they might have found us to be good people who appreciated what they were hired to do for us Instead they left us feeling undeserving of their food, which was actually quite good

This was the coolest place, so beautiful! We stayed here on our way through town, wish we would have had another night to enjoy the area and premises more We loved the food and bar, and talking with the local regulars The rooms were basic, but just what we needed for the night, and what you’d expect a ski lodge to be

Overall we would definitely stay here again!

We have been staying at the Summit during ski season for the last five years The staff was wonderful and yes the rooms are dated but always clean The salt water hot tub is amazing

Prices have gone up I get it BUT there is no more coffee bar for early morning which I absolutely loved !! And the deal breaker is no breakfast !!! Their idea of breakfast consists of bagel toast cereal and yogurt 😏unfortunately hubby is gluten free and certainly wouldn’t survive a ski day on yogurt ! Not to mention the price includes breakfast !!! Understanding times are different but a ski lodge needs a decent breakfast!!! We are not giving up but would hope to see improvement soon !

My husband and I stayed at the Snowed Inn for four nights We can’t recommend this beautiful Inn enough We were greeted warmly by the staff on check-in

Our room was cozy and clean The common room fireplace, freshly baked cookies, wine bar & snacks were all wonderful Each morning, a freshly made breakfast was brought to us at the time we chose in the dining room The private time for the hot tub was really lovely, especially after a long day on the slopes! Ken and Carolyn were so attentive and they genuinely care about their guests We can’t wait to come back to Killington We absolutely will be staying here again!

This place was great Went in the “off” season and it was still wonderful The owners and staff were very nice

It was a perfect place to stop after a week of camping to wash up and sleep in a super comfy bed Also one of the few places we have stayed where we wanted to hang out outside of our rooms since its so cozy in the lobby/guest areas Will definitely come back!

Let me start by stating this weekend had to be planned in order for me to visit so that my father could be buried after having passed away suddenly at the age of 55, so this was the wrong weekend to have these experiencesI usually stay across the street at the Days Inn, decided to try the Hampton this time and was hugely disappointed On Night one, 2 cars were blocking the handicap entrance to the sidewalk, I notified management and they went out to look yet the cars were still parked there all night

I have a 95-year-old grandmother who could not climb up the sidewalk and was thus essentially stranded in the lot, I also had 2 strollers that could also not make it up onto the sidewalk These cars were parked across the lines of their spots and blocking the diagonal lines indicating no parking there, it was an orange Mitsubishi and a Silver sedanInstance number 2, on the back side of the lot where I had been parking there was a large Ford F350 towing a rather large cargo trailer, all in all they blocked 7 spaces that were rendered unusable As previously stated, I was with my 95-year-old grandmother who could not walk long distances and the back door was easiest accessible to our room, yet this truck and trailer blocked 85% or more of those back spaces that were not labeled Diamond member or handicap Any time I have had an issue at Days Inn it was handled immediately, and I felt as though issues were not of any importance to night shift hereApparently, these customers must have paid some sort of importance luxury fee as my stay, cost me over $62100 and my concerns and issues were brushed aside for these royal guestsWe had a trip planned for October 14-28, 2022, and while I was planning Hampton Inn, it now appears I will have to shift plans as some customers are more important than others, and I will still have my 3 infants with strollers and my 95-year-old grandmother who will have turned 96 by thenIt really stinks because the gentleman who checked me out Monday morning was super nice the whole couple of minutes I spoke with, but besides that this visit was a catastrophe from a hotel standpoint

Sometimes we give a five star review not because the resort was perfect but because of the way the management dealt with its own imperfections Hawk is just such an example We had stayed here twice before and loved it

This last time we had some problems with the home we had rented When we reported them to the management we were dealt with in a way that spoke volumes about the level of customer satisfaction that Hawk strives to achieve Our concerns were dealt with graciously and very generously We just couldn’t have asked for or expected a more forthright and solicitous response AMAZING! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this wonderful resort where you are treated so well and with a sincere desire to make your stay as comfortable as possible We look forward to our return trip Many, many thanks!

Beautiful, comfortable, quiet, gorgeous, immaculate

all the adjectives! We stayed a spring weekend and the place was almost empty The staff were friendly and helpful The room was excellent, particularly the comfortable bed and spacious bathroom The grounds are beautiful as well, with great walks on country lanes The place is perfect for a couples getaway or a group The riverside and bridge would be perfect for a weddingThe only con is the somewhat dated decor, if that is important to you Definitely worth the few minutes’ drive if Okemo is your destination

Alecia Armstrong

We were staying at a cottage by the marina in summer 2010 and decided to drop in for dinner one night The food was good and the waitress, we believe she was Swedish, was absolutely fantastic A few days later my friend and I thought it would be nice to go to the spa and get a pedicure

We didn’t get any service and the girl at the front desk couldn’t have been more apathetictoo bad! A beautiful spot, needs someone to train front desk staff in sales

Over all the please was very nice and well kept, however there were some minor things in our particular room that were irritating such as toilet with inability to flush properly, The shower head was not fully functional and the remote controls were left by the previous patrons with no batteries and were not replaced These are minor things and obviously not the same in every room and that is why I can still give it 4 out of 5 stars

Upon arriving at our room, we found an icy dark parking lot After driving for over 4 hours, we then had to call the main office to figure out how we were supposed to get into our room It turns out that the office is about 3 miles away and nobody had the courtesy to let us know

Once we finally found the main office in a confusing maze of buildings the receptionist told us to call her if we were not satisfied with our roomwe were advertised and sold a deluxe suite which was supposed to contain a king size bed, a fire place, a large flat screen tv, a rainfall shower, and much more When we walked in our room it was honestly a joke The only thing updated was the kitchen, past that was just filth The carpet appeared as if it hadn’t been vacuumed and felt damp The wallpaper was peeling in spots and had water stains The bed was not a king, and next to the bed was the “heating unit” stuck in the wall with exposed copper pipes The bathroom wasn’t even fit to wash my dog in No rainfall shower, just a a yellowed tub No fireplace in sight The tv was older than me and hard to see it was so small Even the paintings on the wall were horrifying It was a dark ominous roomWhen I called the receptionist she told me to deal with Expedia to try and resolve this which in turn left us without a place to stay when we were supposed to be having a great vacation I would rather have slept in the car than pay premium pricing for motel 6 quality Eventually Expedia found us a much nicer room elsewhere for 1/3 the price Thanks

Very convenient location The rooms were very clean with plenty of room Unfortunately the hot tub was out of commission for the time being, but there was a brand new sauna

Lots of space in the game room(s) with plenty of games Pretty good TV and a nice selection of books Very friendly staff and a really good breakfast Really good travel time to the two local mountains

Debbie Brooks

So friendly, accommidating, and a beautiful pool They have a sweet little poodle that helps greet people and clean rooms (it even left a pink ball in our room so we could go visit it to return the ball) Rooms are clean

Other guests are all nice and friendly with each other Breakfast was fresh, good, and great selection (including chocolate chip pancakes)

Sam

Good place, but we got placed next to the recreation area, and people playing air hockey could be heard in our room when we were trying to get to sleep early There was no mini fridge, but I didn’t look to see if it was included in the amenities so I can’t count that against them Otherwise, the A/C was good, reception was very friendly, and it had a sauna, pool, and rec area
