We spent four days here and the staff were really helpful The room did not match up with the picture when we reserved online, but we had what we needed to make it work I was excited to see the full kitchen, but the amount of dished stocked were not quite adequate

We found the room lacking bowls, plates, towels and bedding for the pull-out bed, but the staff did a pretty good job of working out our issues It was a bit annoying to keep walking to the office when we realized that we needed yet again something else The dispensers in the shower were empty and the place could use a deep clean, but it served its purpose The beds were comfy and the linens were clean! I wouldn’t advise shopping at the overpriced 24-hour store on-site, but it is very convenient for those who may be in need Last but not least, the pool’s still closed That struck a nerve in everyone smh

RUN FAR AWAY This place is disgusting Neal at the front desk was so very nice

as soon as we pulled in I had a bad feeling It’s set up like apartments and seems like people live there so this is not a hotel or at least not an ideal one our neighbor had a chair from the room sitting outside like it was a smoking chair/patio which was a bad sign There was nothing specifically bad just poor quality materials, cheaply built, plywood paneling, cheap sheets, plastic couch and chairs, the carpet is pretty bad, there was a very bad smell I was afraid to touch anything and certainly wouldn’t be comfortable taking my shoes off The door was tricky and was not secure I got a refund and left i would never recommend this place to anyone

Never heard of Sonesta before staying here Not a good experienceThere is no help, and no elevators, making it very difficult if staying on an upper floor

No cleaning due to Covid restrictions, but the room should be CLEAN before occupancy and it was not Filthy dirty, especially carpet, which dirtied feet Lightbulbs were burnt out, insufficient lighting Staff ignores requests TOILET RUNS LOUDLY A WHOLE WEEK! Unacceptable Called and called, asking for help IgnoredGood things: full kitchen -everything needed is there Microwave and stove, dirty, but usable Loads of closet space This was clean, as were bathrooms Breakfast is the same every day in the lobby, but it’s not terribleThe very worst thing is that they did NOT honor their quoted rate “including tax” “We’re not required to tell you about the extra fees”, was actually said to me upon checkout What?! YES, you ARE required to tell guests that they will be paying more than the promised pricesNot only was the stay dirty, dark, uncomfortable, and a noisy toilet for a week, but even though I checked out a day early because I couldn’t take it anymore, the charges were higher than the original quotes That shows a lack of integrity, breaking basic business tenets and permanently chasing away this customerDoing business there for the six days, everyone who came to the suite commented on the poor lighting and the toilet noise It simply wasn’t a comfortable suite Can’t blame Covid for everything, Sonesta Have the rooms ready for guests is my primary point (Thanks to Tori & Neal for helping me the first day with previous guest trash & some bags)I wouldn’t recommend the Sonesta brand to anybody Never heard of them before, never will again I prefer honesty, a clean room, well-lit, no running toilets, and certainly no financial tricks “that we’re not obligated to tell you about” at checkout

Check in/out was simple you have to pay $20 refundable deposit for each night The hotel smelled really good, all you seen was workers cleaning!! I was a little nervous about booking this hotel because of the reviews, but I had an amazing experience! My hotel room look just like the pictures that are on the website

My room was clean, & very comfy!! The bed was so comfortable, I didn’t get up in time for breakfast on none of my days I stayed I love hearing the cars at night, it’s a city vibe I was greeted upon arrival, & the staff was very attentive! I have zero complaints! I will book again!!

My daughter and I came into town for a Deftones concert We had been on the road for about 7 hours So we were pretty tired and just wore out

The front desk staff were amazing The gentleman that helped us , name was Allen I believe He was so kind and patient with usWe got to our room and it was clean and comfortableThey have a parking garage that gives easy access back into the hotel lobbyBreakfast was nice Pretty simple but I loved that it was quick grab and go They made it simple to mix and match For example Sausage patties, eggs , cheese, spinach and all kinds of condiments so you could either have your meal or make a to go sandwich with a muffinThere is also a nice little 2 story shopping plaza and a On the Border Mexican Grill right across the streetI have no complaints and would definitely stay again

Your Kind of Beautiful J. Turner

We drove eight hours and had booked since early February We had to wait for 3 o’clock check-in I was really tired and just wanted to rest in a great hotel room

To my horror the Room was absolutely deplorable It had roaches It was so dirty The bathroom had broken molding around the floor The toilet was dirty with brown spots on the seat All of the cabinets and doors had fingerprints all over them The dishwasher and refrigerator showed smear marks and drips The tables were sticky and dirty The assistant manager RaKeem, even after seeing everything, did not offer another room and also acted as if he did see everything that was being shown to him Unbelievable! The refrigerator had a broken shelf The drawers were sticky and dirty After the assistant manager’s reaction I wanted the room to be cleaned in front of me That manager left before all was resolved He never contacted me after that evening to see if everything was resolved and if everything was okay I have pictures and videos of everything I finally spoke with a real manager who saw the pictures and videos

Lyndsey Gainey

The facility was nice and clean with complimentary breakfast that was definitely decent for early risers Don’t sleep in you will miss it The pool is cold

My daughter didn’t mind but my boyfriend and I did If you book with third party make sure they redo the room rates before checking you in or else you will be out of that money until someone fixes it

Silly Sammy

Worst hotel experience ever Arrived around 10pm (way past 3pm check in time) and was told the room I already booked and paid for was not available They offered me a smaller room with only one bed, which would not fit my party of 5

When I explained this would not work for us, she said she would double check on the room I booked Apparently it isn’t that the room wasn’t available as in booked, it was that it had not been cleaned and serviced She said that she would go and do it herself for us At first, I was pleased with the front desk staff because she made it seem as if she was making an effort to make it right It was getting late and I had three kids with me We waited in the lobby for her to come back She even made the statement that she gave us fresh towels and apologized Upon entering the room, I could tell that the beds had just been quickly made But she isn’t the housekeeping lady so I didnt think much of it and don’t care about tight corners on my bed sheets (You can see what I mean in the photo I took of my daughter when we first got there) I was just happy we had somewhere to sleep at that point The next day when helping my 7 year old daughter shower, I took a towel that was folded on the back of the toilet to place it on the floor and noticed it was stained No big deal It was going on the floor The next towel I planned to wrap around my daughter It was already damp and also stained At that point, i noticed a wet, dirty rag folded in between them These were all dirty towels and rags Its like thry were picked up off the floor and placed for us to use Absolutely disgusting At this point, I don’t believe they were even clean sheets on the bed the night before, merely put back together from the previous guests I was told they would credit me half off but received a bill of full payment Here I am a week later with strep throat, which I have no doubt I got from sleeping in a used, unsanitary room This day and age with Covid, that is ridiculous, reckless and unsafe Pure disgusting Not work $500 for 2 days The fridge in the room didn’t even work and the numbers in the AC unit on the wall were half blank so you had to guess the temp Go somewhere else

Overall, we had a good stay I really appreciated having a separate sitting room from the bedroom We were able to put our son there in his pack and play while we slept in the bedroom

It made for a restful night for allHowever, it should be known that you have to pay $12 for parking and breakfast isn’t free When we booked this room both of those facts weren’t advertised Also, both when we were unloading our car and reloading it when leaving, there were NO luggage carts available This proved to be very difficult with all of our luggage and with trying to keep track of our son

Daniel Young

The hotel seemed a little dated in certain areas, but it was very clean I could see they were working on updating some of the rooms during my stay and that will only enhance the stay for future guests The staff was very friendly and informative

Most importantly, the water was hot and the bed was comfortable I really do like having a separate living area from the bedroom It just feels more cozy

Hank Ballew

When my usual hotel gave my reserved room to another party I hopped over to this Hyatt and received a warm welcome from Jennifer at the front desk She took time to show me rooms that might fit my needs and put positive energy into making sure my needs were met Any employer can force staff to smile at you, but having staff that engage helpfully is a real blessing

I really enjoyed my stay here at this beautiful hotel It was peaceful, front desk attendant very nice The room we were in was clean, neat and it was well worth the money

The only thing I didn’t like is not having a microwave in the room that’s why I rated 4-stars Oh, and another thing upon arrival to get to the room, the housekeeper had the all of her things (supplies) and dirty linen hamper blocking the darn doorway where I couldn’t even get in the room! I understand she has to do her job, but do it correctly and follow safety guidelines when cleaning Do not block the hallways nor doors That is definitely a safety hazardOther than that, hopefully the next time we stay here that pool up on the 3rd floor will be open! The view from up there and just relaxing by the pool

Vishnupriya Anant

We stayed here for 2 nights over the memorial day weekend The size of the room is good, its spacious, the view from the big windows was great We could see the highways and bridges and city without obstruction

Sunset sky looks great from the room Breakfast was included and was a decent spread compared to the spread we have in the US but it was nothing in comparison to what we get in Asia Has a nice swimming pool and a big garden It is pet friendlyJust remember not expect a lot in terms of service or facilities because well it is US and not in Asia

Ben Shope

This was easily the best value in the area A very clean, new hotel with some pretty grounds in the back We stayed six days in a suite

The staff was very friendly and helpful The stay was an excellent value despite some days of scaled-back breakfast service (that situation seemed in-flux, so check on that if you care) I think the value comes from the fact that the hotel is near an office park and may be designed for more pre-pandemic business travelers than they are seeing right now We were allowed to redeem a suite award despite the rooms being labeled premium suites (so your mileage may vary) Parking is $14 a day which is a better value than some comparable Hyatt properties Anyways, great stay – I highly recommend

A safe and Great location close to highway, restaurants, shopping & more The rooms were nice and super comfortable Everything was really clean and looked good except for the chairs in front of elevator

Service was quick, professional and friendly The only downside was that they offer breakfast but not included in what you already paid

alexis B

I was satisfied during my 4 day stay It’s definitely an older establishment, but it was clean Parking was readily available and in close proximity to the building

The breakfast was good with a nice assortment/variety of choices Norman at the front desk was very hospitable and hilarious !! The only minor issue I encountered was the time it took for the water to heat up (5-10 min) Aside from that, my stay was very pleasant

Pam Parker

I am just flying home from a 5 day stay in Atlanta It was my first stay at Hilton Northeast 5993 Peachtree Industrial blvd

I have been making this trip to the Americas Mart for many years This is by far my most enjoyable hotel stay Each person that worked there was extra friendly The room was super clean Bed was comfortableThe restaurant and room service was my favorite Traveling alone, I had dinner in my room each nightThe food was perfect Also the breakfast which came with my room, was far better than any other I have had at other hotels All the people there were great! We checked in late and Ruben was so nice and very helpful! The room was very clean, which was most important to me Our room was on the bottom floor beside the exit and people were coming in and out at all hours of the night and the door slammed every time The pumps for the shampoo and conditioner in the shower didn’t work

Breakfast was pretty good!Overall, it was a decent place to stay for the night if you are passing through

Erica

I was in town under not so great circumstances and had a few issues with rooms after checking in after 3am Keke at the front desk was very nice and patient and got me in a decent room for the night She even left a note for the manager, which made it easy to explain the next morning

Michelle took accountability for the hotel and took good care of us for the duration of our stay Nope, no credits needed All it took was a friendly face who understood the situation, apologized, and fixed it right away The ENTIRE staff was friendly and seems to enjoy their job! It gave me a little comfort when I needed it the most!

Sonal

The rooms were spacious, but no house cleaning done for the 4 days that we were there The breakfast was good But the lady cleaning and restocking the items was very upset about the number of people that were having breakfast

Multiple teams had booked that hotel for a 4 day tournament There was a time, she even lashed out on the kids Something that is not hospitality If the staff doesn’t like soo many people booked and having breakfast, then they should not entertain booking it Would never plan on going back there

The suite was beautiful That’s not the issue though When I called and made reservations I was told that the room that I booked had 2 private rooms, which was need because there was another adult that needed her own privacy

When I checked in paying my money was perfectly fine of course When we got up in the room it wasn’t quite what was described to me over the phone I called down and spoke with front desk only to get attitude from the on duty manager The first thing she blurted out her mouth was that “you can check out” if you want I drove 4 hours to get here and paid my hard earned money(300 plus dollars) just to be given an attitude At this point I’m annoyed She told me there’s no need to escalate this matter to higher management because they also can’t do anything I’ll come back after I speak with someone that has more class and give you’ll an update I’m not a happy customer at this point I really wish I could give zero stars for poor customer service

Jeremy Sandusky

The hotel was clean and nice The best part is the bar tender German! So cool and helpful Everyone enjoyed the service and the drinks

He takes pride in his work and is helpful with finding places to eat and where to go and not go If you are in the area for whatever reason please consider this hotel Pat at the front desk is amazing as well I enjoyed my time here

Kimberly Mulgrew

We were there for a college tour weekend Rooms were clean and spacious Staff was kind and attentive

German at the bar made our nights so fun! He is personable, attentive, super funny and knowledgeable The drinks he suggested and made for us were spot on! Can’t wait to be back there in 14 months when we move our son German you better be there!!!!

Hotel is just across from mall which is great Its upscale and kept spotless Staff is friendly and courteous but lacking the full upscale expected

We were upgraded to a suite that was really nice but it lacked simple things like a coffee maker without a sink Had to go in the bathroom for water, yuckWe are Elite Marriott members and had to push to get a suite that we are entitled to Breakfast was free to us because of status but if not $49+ and although in chafing dishes the food was dry, cold and did not taste fresh Overall disappointed

Tamesha

I got this hotel through Hotwire I didn’t know it was even an option because it did not show as part of which hotel I would likely get Anyway, the hotel is very nice and all

However, the only downfall was the paying for parking, Locked fridge in the room which I was almost afraid to put my drinks in because I wasn’t sure if I would be charged for it My daughter was scared to use the shower gel that was provided afraid we would be charged for that To top it off the worst of my stay really was the smell of the room, the sound of the toilets flushing (if that’s what it was), and the noise of steam or air all night/morning long so I couldn’t sleep (light sleeper) The bathroom door in our room you basically had to bump up against it to close or it wouldn’t shut For this hotel to be this fancy I guess I expected different Yes, I would have rather stayed in the Hampton Inn or even the Comfort in, but you get what you get At least I would have likely been able to sleep Overall the hotel is nice, but all the noises in the room was just not that great

Jerome

Staff very personable and professional Every staff that I came in contact with was very friendly The rooms were clean and very spacious

We were there for an afternoon wedding We were accommodated for an early check-in Much appreciated The gym was exceptional Certainly enjoyed the quiet moments out by the pool Overall it was a great experience Certainly will stay again

Very nice hotel Friendly staff Comfortable beds

Could use better pillows and high pet fee but free parking and lots of breakfast choices We stayed when we were in town for a braves game Easy to access highway even with construction I was concerned walking into the room that it wouldn’t be cold but the AC cranked out cold air and it was great Very dog friendly

Christy Szabo

Beautiful, CLEAN hotel Easiest check in process and and most accommodating front desk Young family of 4 with 2 small children

Stayed night of Braves game then ventured to the aquarium the next day Perfect location Shower had no blemishes and carpet had no debris Breakfast was filling and had something for the entire family Will definitely have a return visit

Anna Wenders

The staff were very nice, and our room was good, if a little noisy (we were on 6th floor on the street side of the building) Everything was clean and comfortable Great water pressure and very hot water

The noise from the hallway and room next door was a little loud, but I’m a light sleeper and things settled down by 12 am Loved the gym which I used every day, and the indoor pool which I would have used if I’d know how nice it was and had packed a bathing suit The complimentary breakfast was fairly good though I only ate oatmeal and yogurt Coffee was very good Overall, very good value

I’m giving this location a 2 stars and that’s purely for the hospitality of the employees we came in contact with That’s where anything good stopsI am seriously questioning all the ‘new and updated’ reviews

The room we stayed in was not updated at all The carpet up the stairs was torn, stained, and gross Everywhere I looked needed to be shampooed or vacuumed When we walked in to our room we were immediately hit with the stench of mildew and even running the a/c at 60 all day long it still was overpowering Only one of our key cards worked – but even that one stopped at 9pm the night before check out! The pool absolutely made me sick to my stomach It was so cloudy you could NOT see clearly the bottom of the pool and someone dislodged one of the inside pool lights and (still electrically attached inside the pool) draped it outside on the ground outside of itI will definitely never be back to this location

This Marriott is a gorgeous hotel My boyfriend and I stayed here for only a night yet it was one of the most comfortable hotel stays I’ve experienced The room was luxurious and cozy

Due to checking in at about 4am the kind staid offered us a late checkout the next day The only thing that made this stay a 4/5 instead of a five was the cleaning staff About every 45 minutes to an hour they were beating on the door As you can imagine this was extremely irritating My sleep being interrupted periodically with the knocking when my boyfriend and I were exhausted and just trying to rest When it came time for check out we stopped by the front desk to explain what happened As they were apologetic, the staff checking us out did let us know that it was noted in the system that we check out at 3pm The simple constructive criticism we offer is to make sure that there is an open line of communication as to what the cleaning schedule is for the rooms that guests are currently occupying between the cleaning staff and the front desk This is not the first hotel at which I have experienced this nuisance

Ernest Mallett

This was a great stay! The staff were amazing and the bar and rooms were really nice About the only complaints I would give is that the A/C in the room was a little loud and the carpeting in the hallways gave a depressing feel Other than those two tiny issues the stay was amazing, everyone was polite and professional, even the interactions with other guests were pleasant

I stayed at this hotel recently The staff is very polite but the facility is old My room did not have hot water and it smelled like mildew

After informing two of the front desk employees of the issue, they seemed concerned, but no one ever came to the room to fix the issue Also I questioned the cleanliness of my room I had hair in my shower and the floor didn’t appear as if it was swept Won’t stay here again

As someone who works for a Hilton property, I generally know what to expect The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable I deducted a star for the cold shower we had to take because the water would not get warm

(I had seem other reviews stating this was an issue but had hoped it had been taken care of) Another star was deducted for breakfast quality and the fact that the lobby area was still dirty from breakfast an hour and a half after breakfast ended

Perfect example and model of what PEFECT FIVE STAR Hospitality should look like!!! Starting with the parking lot and outside property CLEAN and free of debris!!!! NEXT the front desk representatives nice, knowledgeable, worked fast paced, very helpful THEN the room was spotless Everything in place, bed cozy , sheets white as snow and even smelled clean!!!! I stayed here on May 21st, 2022This is not my first time staying at a Sonesta so I expected great service of courseThe room was CLEAN & COMFY 🤩 and that’s typically my main concern with hotels

the roommss! But these were niceRooms are not large but I’d take small and clean over large and dirty any day ☺️It was also very quiet during my stayThe young black girl at the front desk was very sweet and helpful with explaining parking, etc I didn’t go to the pool but mistakenly ended up on the pool floor trying to find parking and it was niceAlso parking was only $9 I’d definitely stay here again 😁

The property itself was great The hotel and room were nice Besides the sorry excuse for a pillow (read further), the hotel itself was as billed and excellent

ButThe staff needs to cheer up Every customer interaction we saw (including ours) was met with reluctance and disgust They obviously did not want to be at work, and the guests suffered for it I called 5 days in advance to confirm our room, and was met with a very unenthusiastic employee who said we were set for two queen beds as ordered Upon arrival, we were given the wrong room, and politely asked what our options were Another unhelpful employee told they were sold out and “could either stay in that room or go somewhere else” We opted to stay, but we had 4 lousy (and I mean terrible these things sucked) pillows for 4 guests We asked for a couple more and were told they had none Really? You mean a hotel has no backup pillows?Later that evening we decided we’d go swimming The pool sign states they are open 6-11 But, the doors were chained up Again, we asked politely why the pool wasn’t open yet and they said “uhhh the hours are 11-8” At this point, I was frustrated and stated “well that’s not what the sign says,” to which I was told “we used to have a sign but someone took it down”Apparently this place has exactly one pillow per person and no one proactive enough to print off a sheet of paper to alert guests they’ve (very randomly) changed their pool hours Finally at checkout, I was greeted with a smile and a hello for the first time, so I went to that employee’s desk, but one of the rude employees cut the nice one off, called me over to her desk and made sure to send me off with a few final scowls for good measure

The hotel was very clean That is one of the great things about this stay The location was a little strange as it was behind a gas station but once you figured out how to get there it was really easy to get in and out of

The staff was friendly, but not as security-minded We never felt unsafe, it was just weird that they didn’t ask for any verification when we said we had lost our keys In this post covid travel world be aware that the rooms are not cleaned or serviced during your time unless you request it That was perfectly fine for us but to do something to be aware of is you travel

My husband and I stayed here for three nights during a multi state road trip We enjoyed our stay – the room was clean and quiet and spacious We enjoyed talking with Willie at the front desk when we had a moment – what a friendly and great person! Took advantage of the guest laundry and that was convenient to pay by credit card instead of quarters

My only complaint is that the eggs at breakfast were a little runny and on the cold side But everything else was great!

This is amazing no attention to detail when it comes to cleaning I have by myself wipes and wipe down the bathroom light switch It was disgusting so I decided to wipe down everything else in the room also in the corner of the shower not cleaning in that area and you can see it it’s disgusting

As far as service service was excellent Willie Hood was the person at the front desk and his customer service was absolutely wonderful He made me feel so at home and so welcome He made my stay much much better

Giving two stars because the staff were very pleasant and the restaurant was surprisingly decent But that’s about it I booked the Westin because of its general higher-end status, but I was pretty disappointed

The lobby is set up really nicely and would lead you to believe that you’re about to have a great stay at a 4-star hotel But as soon as you leave the lobby, the rest of the hotel is mediocre at best First of all, I upgraded my room to a Junior Suite weeks before my stay, and when I checked in, I was told I would be staying in the previous room I booked because they have no junior suites available If you weren’t going to have junior suites available on the nights of my stay, why would I be able to upgrade to that room? Or did you give my junior suite away to someone else? We paid extra for a lake-front room, but the lake was brown and disgusting The rooms are no better than 2 or 3-star quality- the finishings are tacky and the bathroom/shower area was just straight up icky The shower was not user friendly at all At a certain point we called maintenance about it He told us many people call about the shower head and faucet and complains about them Additionally, make sure you get a room close to the ground floor or you’ll be waiting at least 5 minutes for the elevator- but you’ll get your steps in on the stairs! Overall, this is in no way a 4-star hotel and they should probably lose a star But your staff was excellent!

After a not so great experience at a another Atlanta area Marriott property, happy to say that this is a very nice hotel Had breakfast and dinner at Savor, and both were great Rooms are clean and (despite being in a hotel at the intersection of two interstates) quiet

Only minor complaint is that the mattresses are a bit soft Also, the pool area is currently closed / under construction

Stayed here for an event we were attending in Atlanta The room we stayed in was very nice There was not a dresser to put any clothes in, but there were a couple of drawers and a closet to keep clothes in

The workout area and pool were both very nice with lots of room The pool was an even 4ft deep but was still enjoyable to spend time in The area around the hotel was very nice to walk around and get some fresh air and nature The housekeeping was very nice and made sure our room was in tip top shape, even placing a stuffed animal we had on the bed There is also a mall across the street with lots of food and stores to fill time If I am ever in the area again, this will be my go to hotel choice

Attended a conference at this hotel Very nice property for a general stay but the hotel was not large enough to host our conference Parking is very limited for large groups

This is a beautiful property The rooms were spacious and clean The grounds were well kept Limited dining options on the property but there are numerous eateries in the vicinity The fitness center was more than adequate and the hotel staff was pleasant and professional I would definitely stay at this location again, if necessary

Great experience at this hotel Friendly front desk staff Unfortunately, the first room I was given had a mildew smell, but the front desk was able to quickly change my room

The second room was perfect Large TV, comfortable bed, clean everything The hotel seems to have been recently renovated, which was nice There’s great views of either a park or the city skyline from your room The park is accessible from the hotel, and is a great place to take a walk around I would stay here again
