Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a resort This site will compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of the best in this area

I’ve been coming here for years If you choose this place you will love it I’m sure!Great hotel! I was there for a conference and it was gorgeous The deck in the room was amazing! The bell staff was extremely knowledgeable, especially Hugh, and went out of their way to help us (we were at a conference) All of the bar and wait staff did as well We look forward to staying here again!

This was our first visit to the Gainey Ranch We arrived very late one evening and the lighting on the property was terrible It was confusing to figure out where the main entrance & parking was

After a long day of traveling it was an added annoyance Upon arrival, we checked in easily, front desk staff was welcoming We got to our room and again lighting was terrible Granted it’s the desert but all of the browns, golds & yellow decor mixed with poor lighting made for a depressing vibeThe exterior views were absolutely spectacular and the pools are great The service at the pool was also spectacular There were a bunch of games for the kids to play pool side so that helped keep the kids entertained! The website made it appear that more of the restaurants were open than were truly open, so that was frustrating Basically there is one restaurant open inside and then you have food/drink service at the pool where they will deliver food to your chair There is a shopping center near by with great restaurants that you could even walk to if you wanted toOverall, location was amazing, but it was an expensive stay and not worth it With the exception of the pool staff, I didn’t think the staff was all that friendly It was fun to visit once, but I wouldn’t make it a destination place to vacation again, unless we had another reason to be there

Recently stayed here for a business meeting and to play some golf A great resort that checked all the boxes for what you need Great location, well kept hotel, and a decent bar scene made this a place I would come back too

Rooms were a good size, with ample sized bathrooms with good water pressure Bed was big a fluffy (although a little too soft for me) Good wifi, and a nice pool round it offAll in all a great place Go with confidence

My husband and I stayed here for a 3 year wedding Anniversary trip When we arrived we had been upgraded to the Presidential Suite It was a beautiful room

We had the best time at the pool with drink service Our room was always spot less when we arrived back after it was cleaned The location is perfect for walking down to Old Town, Fashion Square & Night Clubs The aesthetics of this place are SO PERFECT!!

Enrico Dolcecore

This is a 2-3 start hotel at best The price is WAY TOO much for what you get Rooms are dated, and minimal

You really don’t get anything above and beyond for staying here Choose another hotel across the street for half price and you’ll be happier We stayed her 7 years ago, and it was awesome Pools were fun to hang at, but the price was right We felt like we got what we paid for For $500 a night I can stay at a Ritz Carlton

Alex Anzhela

Place is nice Too much party life in this town in general though If you’re traveling with kids, probably good idea to find a more kid friendly hotel/place/atmosphere

Otherwise the resort is very pretty Also the heater/AC unit in the room emitted too much dust so we ended up not turning it on anymore They do have a complimentary shuttle service which we loved

When I stayed at this property they had the most amazing beds and pillows! I actually purchased the same type of bed Best decision of my life I took a picture of the pillow tag but was unable to match the pillow with the merchant

They needed more info I called Gainey and spoke to an amazingly awesome gentlemen name Josh He was so pleasant, helpful and super knowledgeable He was able to provide me with what I needed Thank you Josh for the best customer service experience!

I enjoyed our stay The pool area was very nice, the other guests were super friendlyThe room was clean, modern and decorated well but the carpeting will need cleaning or updating soon

This is a family oriented location so if children bother you, head elsewhere

Jayneee Smith

We rented a 2 bedroom suite, 2 bath Nice amenities in bathrooms Living area was smaller than other resorts we frequent

Kitchen was not fully stocked and no stove Range was low-end, but did the job Needed to clean the toaster before using as there was debris inside making it smoke and we didn’t want the smoke detector going off Great complimentary breakfast and 5 PM happy hour with food Very social with plenty of seating areas around the pool, water falls, under the trees The outdoor area made up for any issues within our suites Very relaxing stay

What a welcoming resort Suite was very well equipped including full kitchen, washer/dryer, dining table for six and table for four on patio Conveniently placed bar-b-ques throughout the property

Children’s play area, putting green, outdoor pool table, were great Everything was clean though some wear and tear is inevitable The pool was amazing though it would have been great if there was a poolside beverage/food service but there is a ‘market’ in the clubhouse to get essentials The staff was very friendly and helpful We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

J Saunders

Would give 5 stars but the dishwasher had a funky smell and they didn’t collect the trash often enoughIt was nice to have a full kitchen but the dishwasher smelled like sewer water They did send a guy out who replaced the filter and ran a cleaning cycle

But the dishwasher would literally run for 3-4 hours each time and had what looked like mold around the edges so we just washed by hand I guess you have to call and tell them when to pick up the garbage also because they don’t do it every dayOther than that, the fitness room and pool area were very nice Glad they had the adults only pool And the staff was quick to respond and very nice Would be nice to have elevators, be warned if you can’t drag ur bags up 3 fights of stairs

Jessica Boser

Beautiful resort, nice condo’s LOVED being able to sit outside our condo on the patio to enjoy the weather, eating dinner while watching our favorite hockey team Good size rooms

The furniture is a bit dated but not terrible Our condo was VERY clean though! The only complaint is if you get a condo off the main road it is a bit noisy with the traffic if you want to sit outside on your patio But when we were inside we barely heard the traffic

We stayed for five nights with my family The hotel is gorgeous, and the staffs were friendly Our room was supposed to be with the balcony, but the balcony was where they were doing construction and cleaning

It was so hot, and the sun was right on the balcony We could not even get out and sit on it for more than 30 minutes We had small kids, and we were told the balcony was by the waterfall, and it was not even near Most of the food is fried food and super expensive! We went out for breakfast at one of the breakfast restaurants, we were sitting with our children to be served, and we never got served when they served three other guests When we told them why we had been here for a while and not being served, the lady came out and said it was her fault However, the people who sat us down were looking at us and passing us while giving menus to other guests I want to say that the people who greeted you in the front were great They were friendly, and I appreciate them for all they did in and out

Mo

Gorgeous resort The Well & Being spa alone is worth the trip to Arizona Staff is friendly, helpful and made the stay wonderful

Our room was nice, nothing special but that was my own fault for last minute booking and limited options available The atmosphere and staff are what make this resort stand out Looking forward to our next visit

Stephen Foster

The grounds and resort as a whole are very nice and kept up to a high standard The amenities on site with restaurants, spa, bars, meeting rooms, and much more make this a great location for both business needs and personal fun The rooms are very clear and spacious

The bathroom doesn’t make you feel cramped and is perfect for 2 people to get ready at once Over all a great resort and worth planning a stay here

The room was clean and very nice other than the noise The floors are fake hardwood so it sounds like you have a herd of elephants running around above you and will be constantly waken up by other guests There is almost no soundproofing for the rooms so you can hear everything going on around you

The rooms are very nice, but if you’re looking for a place to actually sleep, you may need to request the top floor

Alexa N

Our suite was so comfortable and homey, and the Bistro is absolutely delicious, but the staff are truly the shining star of this location! Everyone was super welcoming and friendly, they genuinely seemed happy to be serving their guests We were very pleased with our stay, and will definitely consider staying again if we return to the area!

For the price, I expected free breakfast amongst other things but I guess all good things come to an endRoom was clean, hot rub was not Feet started itching once I got out

There was a piece of aloe plant that was broken off outside so I applied it to my feet! Also pool is heated but I didn’t jump in as it was roo cold that morning Pool opens at 6:30a-9m Beautiful place, price is steep Great accommodations! I caught the room on sale obviously bc it was almost $300 and to stay an extra day would have been 550, so who are they wanting to keep out! Lol

Staff was very friendly, helpful, and attentive! All of the employees were so polite and patient! We had a group of over 50 people staying at the hotel, over 15 rooms The facility, pool and hot tub area, the gym, and the breakfast area were all very clean It is very easy to get to the hotel, we felt safe, there is a gas station, convenience store, and restaurants all within walking distance

The lady tending the breakfast area was so wonderful as was the man at the counter (I think he must have stayed there 24/7 and never slept because I swear he was there every time we went by the desk! HAHA) I would definitely stay here again!**The only negatives were there were not many towels for the pool, and the hair dryers didn’t work well But these were very minor negatives! I would maybe take off a 1/2 star for these

Travelling with family to a work conference held hereWonderful food Clean and comfortable rooms

We requested a room near a pool and it was perfect Great staff All workers who took care of us at the meeting did a great job!Pools all very nice, family friendly Fitness center well appointed Convenient location to restaurants and shoppingThe only small issue was communication with the front desk On arrival, I got a text inviting me to message if we needed anything That service was unreliable Suggest calling or in person at front deskHats off to the landscaping crew Beautiful flowers, interesting cacti

It’s our second time staying at this resort, it was a joyful 4th of July weekend here The food and service was amazing! The resort is always very clean and organized, they can run low on the pool towels, so I would recommend you grab one asap otherwise they don’t get restocked We ran into that problem

Otherwise everything is amazing! Food is delicious! Will definitely be back again

Robert Green

We can not recommend The Scottsdale Plaza Resort enough! They were everything we could have wanted for our wedding weekend! The staff, the event spaces we used, the food, the hotel rooms and accommodations for our guests and everything in between was above and beyond our expectations They made the wedding planning process enjoyable and easy We got so many compliments on every aspect of the weekend from our guests

Our point of contact/coordinator, Kristin, was so organized and helpful through everything and she truly made our day run as smoothly as possible! She was attentive, listened to our wants and needs and went above and beyond for us

I’d skip this oneThe only great thing about this place is the valet service that went out of their way to help us as it was pouring down rain during monsoon when we arrived They continued to be the bright spot of the entire stay here

The staff is fine but not friendly Every time we asked where something was on the property we got vague directions and couldn’t find it We weren’t offered a bottle of water or anything that we typically get when we stay with HiltonThe rooms are super clean but old There is a great vanity set up for getting ready but no outlets I’m not sure if the rooms have A/C or swamp coolers but the rooms were hot and muggy- again it’s monsoon season right now, but an A/C doesn’t typically cause that during this time of yearWhen we reserved the room the price said $180 a night with taxes and resort fees but we were charged $211It just overall is a tired and disappointing experience We have stayed at many Hilton’s for much less money and had a better experience I’d skip this one and book elsewhere in Scottsdale

Kenneth Belisle

My daughter and I stayed at the resort for a long weekend over the 4th of July The resort itself is so pretty, and we really enjoyed walking around the property and seeing the cacti, palm trees, and flowers I loved the bar at the pool-they had great drinks for adults and ice cream for kids

Our favorite meal was breakfast, and they also had great food for lunch and dinner as well The pool area was so nice, and the water was warm, and we spent many hours lounging and swimming! I definitely recommend this resort! We can’t wait to go back

Nicole Fraser

We were excellently treated by every member of the staff who were friendly and engaging The restaurant was great with a nice variety on the menu and well prepared dishes The rooms were clean and, with the sole exception of the air conditioning units, quiet

The lake made for a lovely contrast to the desert dry with birds and greenery Absolutely recommend

We stayed in a king suite and our room had the most wonderful terrace! We took full advantage of the great outdoor space which really enhanced our experience The check in process was smooth and quick, our room was well appointed and overall very cleanMy main complaint is about the pool

We loved the fountain and that there was both a pool and a spa but my husband ended up cleaning the pool before we used it on the second day because there were tons of bugs, leaves, and pollen floating around The hotel staff was super friendly but they are very clearly understaffed so some things, like the pool cleaning, were not on their radarIt’s a good hotel that meets expectations and is very reasonably priced

This Hilton is a perfect spot because it is so close to Old Town The staff is welcoming and friendly Love the free bottles of water they offer and the breakfast buffet was very good and reasonably priced

Great coffee and they even have flavored creamer The rooms are nice and the beds comfortable The patio near the pool is relaxing and lovely to sit at The pool could be a bit bigger but is okay The only downside is, more shade and umbrellas are needed there because the sun beats down on you The drink selection at the bar is also nice The price for a room cant be beat and I would definitely stay at this Hilton again if in Scottsdale

Kristi Rhinehart

Very nice place to stay Location is great This is walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops in Scottsdale

The rooms are very comfortable The hotel amenities are plentiful and service is terrific 👌 The elevator is pretty slow but that’s hardly a huge concern There is a nice snack bar in the very stylish lobby for snacks and drinks The salt water pool looks very refreshing and I can’t wait to the a dip in it Very clean and well stocked fitness room too! 👌

Scott Stevens

You get exactly what you expect from Hilton Comfortable accommodations, clean rooms, facilities and a decent work out space The front desk staff was gracious and helpful

I booked this hotel for one of my wedding blocks and the process could not have been better or easier for my Bride and I The team took care of everything so we had no involvement whatsoever

First – rooms are spacious, very clean and bed was comfortable Now to what really made my stay a five starI was very impressed by how welcoming the staff were

I stayed for4 nights; every single time I passed a Marriott employee in the hall, by the pool or anywhere on the grounds they were the first to say a cheerful helloThe welcoming feel of a hotel always begins with those who greet you first Charles and Paul at the bell stand were extremely professional, and were so very helpful They started my stay on a very positive note and ended it the same way I was very impressed with both of them Caleb, at the front desk helped me with numerous things during my stay, always with a smile These three staff made me feel like I was in my home and truly part of the family Thank you Charles, Paul and Caleb

Laura Huusko

Our stay at the Scottsdale Marriott at McDowell Mountain was truly amazing The grounds are beautiful and kept clean The big sparkling pool is absolutely breathtaking, with lots of chairs and shaded areas, some round beds, covered cabanas first come first serve, no extra charge

Lots of colorful towels always stocked The fitness center was big, clean, and all the machines and weight machines were in working order The restaurant food was really nice for breakfast and lunch – we did not try the dinner, but the bar scene looked lively as we came and went in the evening Our room was clean and overlooked the pool, which was a nice bonus We had a small incident while there – something in our room fell off the wall and almost hit our 2 year old Nobody’s fault – these things happen sometimes We didn’t make a fuss but we let the front desk know, and they comped our breakfast and parking for the inconvenience, which was really unexpected and kind of them Best of all, every single person we came into contact with who worked there was beyond courteous They really made us feel happy, relaxed, and welcome We will definitely stay here again!

Colton Keintz

Stayed here for a week for a vacation, entire staff was very friendly, professional and courteous, and truly made a difference during our stay Zain at front desk was great, All of the valet folks were super friendly, and the kitchen staff did greatFinally, I work in housekeeping at a Marriott back home, and was super impressed with how clean everything was

Housekeeping did a wonderful job We took our DND sign off the door briefly one day, and came back to everything being refreshed and cleaned with care From one Marriott employee to others, you should be proud of your property and the work you do Thank you so much!

VICTOR URZYCKI

The McCormick Scottsdale was recommended by our family living in Scottsdale The hotel has quite a lot of amenities, which we weren’t able to enjoy However, we really enjoyed using the amenities that we were interested in using, during our stay

We had a very busy schedule that our family members had planned for us that we were gone for most of our eight days stay at the hotelThey have a very friendly, and great supporting staff, that lets you know that you are welcome and they show their appreciation by letting you know that they are glad that you are staying there We would like very much to compliment, and thank, the housekeeping staff that were assigned to our room The young ladies that my wife and I met while leaving for the day to be with our family, were so friendly and accommodating whenever we requested their services to tidy up our room and to exchange our bath linens We will definitely return to stay there when we visit with our family again

Gustavo Vegas

The hotel is well located and has many amenities Has a decent restaurant in the grounds, with tasty foodThe staff were helpful and greeted us with a smile

Now, the hotel needs a makeover, it is very dated Our room has a musky smell, and one of the beds squeaked as one sat on itOverall, I would come back in the future, but a renovation would make it more attractive than other hotels/ resorts in the area

Penny Liddell

My husband and I stayed at the property for to celebrate my 10 year wedding anniversary The check-in staff was very professional, very polite, and helpful The room was clean and comfortable as we received an upgrade to a king suite from a double queen room

We did not use any of the other amenities available to us such as the pool, restaurant or spa area I was impressed that the pool is available to guests until 10PM My only complaint is the resort fee charged at check-out even though I prepaid for it in the app I reserved the room under It was eventually taken off by a manager, but I should not have been charged in the first placeThey could also use another elevator on the other side of the hallway, as we had to walk down some pretty long halls to get to our room Otherwise, a great experience and I would certainly recommend to family and friends

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any stay They compare thousands of booking websites and typically will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This place is the best rated in this area

I have been staying here for a long time If you decide to stay here you for sure will love it I’m sure!Visited the Westin Kierland today to spend the day at the pool and celebrate a birthday WOW! The accommodations and service could not have been better We were first greeted at the front of the pool by Savannah, who was lovely and showed us around After we settled in, the manager Matt stopped by and was not only helpful, but incredibly delightful and really added to our overall experience Because of how helpful and friendly Matt and the staff were, we will absolutely be back We are so glad we picked the Westin to spend the day at!

Enjoyed a sunny November day at the pool with some girlfriends Everything was clean and the pools were refreshing The staff was friendly and attentive

The lazy river was wonderful, especially with a crafted cocktail in hand The price was decent and we were able to use the facilities to shower and get ready for our dinner dates afterwards Would go back for sure ❤️

Our stay at the W Scottsdale was a great first stay at a W Ethan Halvorson went above and beyond for us! We were celebrating our five year anniversary with a quick trip to Scottsdale I contacted him via email a few days prior to arrival to coordinate a surprise for my husband upon check in and to get some dinner recommendations

He replied promptly, was always courteous and helpful Ethan was a fabulous first interaction with a hotel brand and his hospitality driven attitude should be commended Thank you, Ethan for everything! The room was great, with a roomy layout, well appointed bathroom and great views of downtown Room service was speedy and always friendly Love the outlets in the floor on the sides of the bed (so much better than your typical hotel that has poorly placed outlets that don’t work for charging a device in bed while using it because they’re located far away – random thing but something I really appreciated that this hotel did)One thing to note, especially if this is your first stay at a W, is this is a hotel with an emphasis on night life and entertainment As we are in our bed at 10:30pm, the presence of loud music, bass and crowd noise is very apparent This was not a turn off as its part of what make the W a hotel that stands out from others but something for anyone booking to take into account if they are a light sleeper or prefer quieter evenings hoursPlease see my other reviews for The Cottontail Lounge and The Living Room (located in the W) for poor experiences at both those locations Keeping that separate from my rating of the W but given they are located in the same hotel, I feel it’s an important thing to note but a distinction to the respective businesses (Cottontail & Living Room) separate from the W Hotel aspect

I had a wonderful time here and a great experience Tyler was SO great during check-in and really made the whole process go smoothly, even when I had technical difficulties getting into my room at first I also want to thank Autumn at the Welcome Office for having the amenities ready in the room before I arrived

It really was a treat for me and my guests, so I very much appreciated thatThis hotel has a great youthful vibe inside and it really feels like you’re stepping out of Scottsdale into Las Vegas with the loud music and mood lighting ambiance I’m pretty sure half the people I encountered upon entering were already pretty buzzed on a Saturday afternoon which was actually funny The rooms are sufficient space for relaxing, and ours faced the pool which has more view/sound access (especially because the door to the room slides open) – there is no patio but you can lean over and check things out It had an amazing sunset view as well The glass shower and glass toilet stall were kind of weird because they had great acoustics but I don’t really like the idea of the toilet echoing – and the shower had a weird image of a chick with a camera in the window but it was eclectic and kind of funnyThe band performing on Saturday night, Steve Ayotte Music, was fun to watch and they actually played great music/did fun covers Sydney the bartender in the downstairs lobby area was also super nice!Overall, I’d definitely characterize this as a lively party hotel and it really made my first stay in Arizona a good one, I would definitely return and stay at this hotel!

The hotel room was amazing in my opinion Great views and definitely a 4 star hotel room The wet deck was fun if your into chatting with people and more into the pool party scene

However the valet parking charged me $35 for $25 parking which I didn’t authorize such a tip The person checking me out even explained to me why it was $25 for parking over the timeframe I was there because I was told when I valet my car it was $17 Meaning to emphasize it was unauthorized what was charged I find it incredibly odd that such a nice hotel would allow scammers to be cashing out people for valet parking This happened to me and my friend who checked out one after the other for $25 valet parking Get better staff in valet parking who won’t take advantage of tipping cards without authorization A receipt wasn’t provided for the valet parking either maybe as a way to get by on the situation I wouldn’t use their valet parking again and that’s the only way to park there they don’t have a parking garage for hotel guestsHotel 4/5Valet 1/5

Honestly just supper disappointed I visited the one in Palm Springs, and when I found out they had one in Scottsdale, I booked it for my mom and myself The location is great, but the rooms are really dirty

Like a roadside motel may be better than this Stains everywhere I guess if you are just there to party it may not matter, but I really wanted a cute place for my mom and me while we explored Scottsdale There was dust on everything that looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in a while, there was a gross dirty mattress in the hallway too I understand they are doing renovations but this just makes it seem super seedy There were stains in the bathroom, on the chair next to the bed and nothing dusted for a long time The carpet leading up the rooms on the outside is pretty gross too The lady at the front desk when we checked in that night wasn’t friendly at all The only reason I give it 2 stars is because I got a late check out Never returning

Anthony Hall (The Wolf Pack)

My stay at The Saguaro Hotel was great I really like that it has a privacy wall around it, which keeps the hotel grounds fairly quiet The staff was amazing and friendly and really went out of their way to make us feel welcomed

Great accommodations and location as well Within walking distance to everything we needed We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Scottsdale

Sydney Stevens

With the cost of nearly $400 per night I was expecting something much better, but this place was dirty and obviously tailored to partying guests (maybe if you’re drunk you won’t notice the squalor?) Walls were stained, towels and sheets were old and smelled of vinegar, and the room was very minimally appointed I would expect this from a roadside motel, not a supposed 4 star resort

The main pool was filled with drunk young adults with club music blaring all day (could be heard from every corner of the property), but the smaller side pool was much more relaxing Don’t stay here if you’re not on a bachelor party trip

Don’t expect traditional “Marriott” here, don’t expect “welcome and thank you for being an “>>>>” member” Generally rooms are nice, clean, and close to normal Marriott furnishings For clarity, this is a MOTEL

Feels like I went to South Beach Miami, complete with pink flamingos, loud pool music (which interior rooms all face) and South Beach Miami clad pool goers Room does come furnished with ear plugs and sleeping mask, no joke Not bad, just not what I expected

DC Girl

We had an ok time The property was 3-starish (so over priced for the garden style apartment room) but the food was good The pool hours are limited so not a great place if you want to beat the heat or crowds with an early morning or late night swim

Most of the staff was nice but one guy who threw us out of the pool — based on in correct information another staff member gave us about the time the pool opened I would not stay here again

Renee M (Renee)

The hotel itself was great The rooms were comfortable and clean I’m giving it 3 stars because of the restaurant

My daughter and I decided to go have a quick breakfast at the restaurant How was the food? We never found out The service was not good at all There were tables around us that were being served, except for ours The waiter finally came, almost 20 minutes later and handed us a menu saying he would be right with us The only problem? We were already handed menus when we were being sat down We left immediately I recommend the hotel, just not the restaurant

We thought the property was quiet and the staff was attentive We needed help moving our luggage from our car to the room After requesting a different building, we moved, again

Greg Harper works for the resort in a guest service capacity He was amazing and made the moves quite simple His high energy and willingness to help were so valued Thanks again for an enjoyable week!

Savannah Batth

It was a bad experience because I paid a lot of money and there wasn’t very good customer service and there were loads of mosquitoes in our room and the mosquitoes were everywhere there were even dead ones in the refrigeratorAnd when I went and told them that there were mosquitoes in the trim they just said that there are mosquitoes everywhere in Arizona and therefore they said that no matter where you stay you will find mosquitoes We are currently staying in a another resort and there is no such sign of mosquitoes here

They told me that I had to checkout very early in the morning at 9AM and we checked in very late that night Overall I would say that if you don’t have any other place to stay and it’s your last resort then go for it The good thing was that there were a lot of resources in the rooms such as a kitchen that was fully equipped and there were laundry machines so you can effectively do your laundry And you can enjoy the pool and golf course ,I just wish that there were more cleanliness protocols for the actual room because there was also a foul smell when we entered the room as well Some of the furniture didn’t look well cleaned as well Definitely not worth the price

Outstanding staff members who care about your stay at the Villa Mirage Nice place to get away and relax and enjoy the moment The rooms are clean and equip to meet all your essential needs

The grounds are well kept and the security staff gives that safe environment to be at ease upon your stay! I would definitely stay at this resort again!
