It wasn’t our best stay ever, nor the worst On the good side, the shower was a thing of beauty – oh, how I enjoyed it And the included breakfast was decent

On the bad side, the walls and the refrigerator were disgustingly dirty And we had really been looking forward to using the pool and hot tub, but they were “closed due to Covid”, or “closed for repairs”, depending on which sign you believed

The Band Daily

Beware!!!Per front desk staff, the hotel was foreclosed on and is being managed by the bank As well as the indoor swimming pool amenity as mentioned on the website has been out of service since before covid19 and is in need of $65,000 worth of repairs to the ventilation Dogs were allowed to roam the hotel without a leash or collar of which one ran into our room while housekeeping was cleaning, agitating our dog

The hotel preauthorized our entire stay with our bank upon check-in, as well as pre authorizing each individual day – tying up our bank account Upon check out management made false claims of damage to the room and charged an additional $250 Manager was on staff and refused to communicate or send any of the forms requested via email I do not recommend this hotel to anyone

The rooms are very large and clean, and the hotel is close to campus It would have been a nice stay except for the bar There is a bar on the 4th floor, and if you are on 3 or 4 anywhere near that thing, you will not have a pleasant stay

The ceilings and walls were thumping with the bass and all the customer stomping until midnight, and you could clearly hear every lyric being screamed at the top of the bar patrons’ lungs Despite calling the front desk multiple times, they politely acknowledged it was a known problem, and there had been multiple complaints from other rooms as well, and “hopefully it will die down soon” That was the best they could do I’d rather stay somewhere else than risk being put on that side of the building ever again

I was here on business last weekend and I was VERY disappointed The bathroom was by far my biggest complaint Hair was all over the shower, on the shower curtain and floor

I didn’t catch this until I was in the shower and saw the amount of soap scum built up in the walls I complained about and asked for full service the next morning because it was late that evening before I was in the room and I had already unpacked everything I thought that would be it NOPE! During business the next day the room supposedly received full service I returned to everything looking EXACTLY the same except for the trash being taken out Even the hair on the shower curtain was in the EXACT same place as the night before I report it and I’m told it would be done in the morning NOPE! Same results The next morning I talk with the front desk manager, who was very helpful, and was assured it would be taken care of I asked for a call or text to let me know it was done because I wanted the entire room cleaned I even took the linen off the bed so there was no excuse not to change it We’ll, they did make up the beds and give us new towels, but that SAME HAIR was in the SAME PLACE as the previous days!!! Disappointed is an understatement I can’t believe that there is no attention to details and that they don’t even change shower curtains between guests Why would I want to sleep on the sheets?!! I asked for linen ever night because I didn’t trust that the sheets I was sleeping on were changed If I had been paying for this room, I would have gotten my money back This was completely unacceptable and not typical of any Hilton location I’ve ever stayed

Rebecca Allison

Room was very spacious and mostly clean The only thing I noticed that wasn’t clean was the top of the curtains that separated the bed from the living room area I used the key on the app and it worked well

It was a little more time consuming than a key card, but I appreciated being able to choose my room in the app and not having to check in at the front desk I didn’t try the breakfast, but it smelled delicious All the staff I came in contact with seemed very friendly All in all, it was a very comfortable stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again

Matt Eaton

There was no soap in the our room I went to the front desk and asked for soap and they said they have not had soap for some time due to supply issues This is unacceptable

This is unacceptable If you cannot supply basic items like soap you should not be offering hotel rooms I expect more from Hilton Mgmt should have bought soap from one if the 100s of nearby stores which all have ample soap supplies Also shower was nasty

This weekend was our 2nd time of staying at this residence inn Love the one room suites They always have everything to make us feel at home

The staff is always helpful every time we stay Breakfast is always pretty good My kids were pretty bummed to see the pool was closed And we were bummed they stopped the supper meals they used to offer And the fire pit wasn’t working I’m sure by the next time we come down it’ll all be fixed Otherwise, very nice place to stay Will definitely stay again!

Charles Otis

Nice and comfy rooms Big suites in both I stayed in Nice touch to have a kitchen to use, though no need to use it

The ice maker in both would fill and not shut off, so that would overflow Also the heat/ac in the rooms really let you know they were on, very loud and sporadic – off 15 min on 5 min and forceful Earplugs recommended

J Wright

Deadbolt lock on room door didn’t work They said they would come fix it and never did I was there a whole week

There were also cockroaches in the dishwasher and dirty dishes in the cabinet When we asked for an extra blanket the guy at the front desks response was “yeah give me a minute” and hung up He never brought it, so after waiting 45 minutes we went down to the lobby to get it ourselves He was lounging on the couch watching TV but got up to get it for us The breakfast had one old banana and no other fruit and was lacking food options Nothing like any other Residence Inn I’ve stayed at Definitely won’t be back to this one! It also smelled like smoke in several parts of the building

Location is good and not in the busy part of town The room design is horrible This is not what I would call a suite

The room is long and narrow just enough room at foot of bed to navigate the room Big flaw was the thermostat was next to door while the air conditioning unit was on the opposite side of room beneath the window The beds were near the windows so you either froze or you were hot

I stayed in this Hampton Inn a total of 4 weeks during a recent business tripThe breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpfulThe rooms and hotel are comfortable and beautiful but to me the best part of my stay was seeing the adorable dogs at the front desk that allowed me to love on them every morning before I left for work and every evening when I arrived at the end of my day

I definitely recommend this hotel💜🙌

Hotel appears to be clean and well maintained If you would prefer to not be a given a room with stained bedding that is white, hairs left on both beds, in bathroom shower and soap dish you should go elsewhere Checked in well after midnight and upon calling numerous hotels there was no availability

I used my own bedding and showered elsewhere Upon check out the woman working showed no concern when advised of the room condition and simply charged me $21300 and said have a nice day

nicholas stock (Nick)

Everything was perfect I received outstanding service from Kenzie and Trinity at the front desk They were so helpful and accommodating with everything They even have a “mascot” named Buck; an awesome Golden Retriever who helps weary travelers get their dog fix in

The housekeeping staff was great as well Thank you for making my stay there in Stillwater great

I will never be staying with Holiday Inn again, and possibly IHG I’ve had the worst customer experience possible, and I’d give 0 stars if I could I had to go to Stillwater for an urgent matter; however, the people in charge changed the date without notifying me in advance

My stay at the hotel wasn’t until the end of the following week The website said if my visit was more than 3 days away, to email them instead of calling, which has since been removed; otherwise, I’d include a picture Then they would not refund my stay because I didn’t notify them far enough in advance, when if the website says 3 days, the cancellation should be 3 days before the visit Then they claimed I sent my email on Wednesday and when they showed it was Tuesday When I pointed that out, they didn’t even acknowledge it, or at least not enough to have a lasting impact that they were sincere After going back and forth for a week, they said to contact the hotel and get a cancellation number I contacted the hotel, and the lady was helpful and said that was all I should need Then customer service again said it wasn’t enough and has stopped responding to my emails Instead, every few days, I get an email that says they can’t respond at the moment due to covid slowing things down when they had no problem before, and if their limit is 3 days, I should receive a response in 3 days I have never felt so disrespected and taken advantage of by a hotel service of any kind before No amount of money would ever make me stay here again, refund or not

Terrible front desk clerk Young male, I arrived around 515pmNo hello, no old afternoon, nothing

I am a Spire elite member, never got my 500 arrival pointThe breakfast was terrible, burn sausage, no eggs As for the hotel and rooms, it was nice and looks new but as for some of the employees, not all but some it was a bad experience I very rarely give a 1 star but in this case it must be done Will not stay here again, period

Julie Talley

We spend a lot of time in Stillwater, most of the time our stays are uneventful However, this time I had a very important zoom interview before check in time I went to the hotel to see if they possibly had a private area I could do the interview

James went above and beyond!!!!!! He was able to get my room ready early and ensure I had plenty of time to be on my best game for the interview!! Then at checkout he asked how it went!!! In a world of so much negativity James was so gracious, professional, helpful, and genuine!!! If you ever read this, please know you made such a difference and i’m so thankful that you understand the difference between customer service and EXCELLENT customer service!! James thank you again!
