As far as Hampton Inns go, and we’ve been to several, this one is a little bit dated and felt depressing The thermostat in our room had a couple settings, but in practice it really only had two positions: on or off In the on position, it provided a high stream of cold air, complete with rattling sounds as if a jetliner was idling right outside your window

I’d rather have had the sound of the hallway ice machine in my roomThe towels would have been rejected at my high school gym for being too threadbare and scratchy for human use The hallways smelled of smoke, even though it’s a no smoking facility The room lighting at its brightest would best be described as “dim” The room is in need of updating, as were the mattress and pillows I did like the complimentary breakfast, however I don’t think I would ever go back though

If you expect to have your room cleaned daily, towels replaced, toiletries restocked, and a bed properly made, I would say this might not be the hotel for you We have stayed at many Hampton Inn & Suites and have always had a great experience up until now Besides our check in going well I don’t have a single good thing to say

Our stay was bad enough that we checked out a day early even though we had prepaid

FlowState Overlanding

We had a terrible experience with this hotel I do not believe I have written a negative review about a hotel stay but this stay deserves oneWhile we were staying there, the outside weather temperature was around 108 and our AC was only pumping hot air

We chose the king suite specifically because we are moving and we had lots of things so we couldn’t switch rooms very easilyI explained the situation to the front desk multiple times and they only said we can switch rooms to a much smaller room for no discount until the issue fixed We reiterated our situation again but the person at the front desk said they spoke to the manager and there was nothing they could do and they told the maintenance guy he could go to lunch We asked if he could take a look when he returned then the front desk person said the went ahead and told maintenance he could go home As the night progressed the heat became less of an issue so we decided to wait for maintenance the next morning Then we were informed that the maintenance guy was out sick now So happy went ahead and did some trouble shooting myself and found it to be a REALLY dirty filter Once cleaned it started workingThen upon checkout we saw we were charged more then the agreed upon price Horrible stay to say the least Almost called the news agency since we called Corporate and they were of no help Don’t think I will be returning to another Hampton Inn There is more but this was getting too long

I loved almost everything about the hotel There were so many pros about this hotel Our room was magnificent

The customer service was friendly, professional and outstanding The hotel provided everything we needed I could have comfortable stayed in our suite for a month and never left My favorite place to eat in the hotel was at the Pantry for breakfast, their menu is perfect for breakfast I loved how everything was super convenient and close in rangeThe only con about the hotel was the sensors for the mini bar in the room If you touch it then you get charged extra so I made sure to not come close in contact to it I loved the location of the hotel it was surrounded by everything The best part about our holiday was booking our room here It made the whole experience top notch

Nathan Hawkes

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at this hotel It has it all I visited to attend a conference that was taking place in the building

This hotel is HUGE It took me almost 15 min of speed walking to get from my room to my conference in the ballrooms area There are good parking options It’s pretty centrally located on the strip The Stay Well versions of their rooms are a must Perhaps one of the nicest hotel rooms I’ve stayed in, period I have to mention, there is a working bathroom fan in the bathroom It did a great job not letting the mirror fog up after a shower! There are lots of choices for dining and shopping Of course, there is any kind of gambling in the casino that you can think of If this hotel is still standing in a couple of months when I come back, I would stay here again

Kymberly Botelho

The volcano is super cool!! We heard it will be going away, so we watched the show multiple times The hotel is nice Beds are comfortable

Clean The pool is great for kids, it’s 35ft all around & has a large sun shelf The hidden hot tub was our favorite place to warm up (was still a little cool in March) Decent food at pool, fun drinks & Dole Whips! Very accommodating hotel for our service dog

The rooms were very comfortable and clean You want breakfast, get there early I got there at 7:45 and had no idea a pack of ravenous carnivores were staying here as well

But staff remained friendly and hustled their tails making sure items were stocked I’m ever in Vegas, I’ll be back to stay Thank you to the staff for making our night stay welcoming and comfortable

Tashia Tanuvasa

Stayed here for 4 days The accommodations and people that worked here was excellent Faith, was amazing and very helpful

She also gave me good recommendations for places to see and try out which was helpful cause I’m not the type to plan a full trip before leaving Will recommend to family and friends Thank you again best western and Faith

Becca Rodriguez

Well let’s start off if I could give it a 0 star I would My friend and I were staying here and it was the worst experience Front desk was rude and would tell us one thing and then another

Breakfast it was burnt and nothing hardly to eat My coffee maker was broken and the Maintenance guy came and said it was fixed and it was still not working So I went to the breakfast area to get my coffee The hotel is dirty stuff on the floors in the hall ways Rooms were nasty my blankets smelled like other people were laying in it I wouldn’t recommend this best western to anyone They need to get it together So much money and so nasty and coworkers don’t know how to do there jobs

Kristina LaCoste

This place is huge!! The rooms are a bit dated (probably on purpose as it’s a hotel with a lot of history) but it was an excellent price with a nice view of the High Roller The shower was incredible with jets! We had a bit of an issue finding snacks and drinks for a good price after the cafe spots closed down for the night and for some reason in-room dining was not an option No big deal

Kind of a walk to the self-parking garage, but that’s okay The kiosks for check-in/out were great for keeping the line moving rather quickly Overall, nice hotel, great price, centrally located on the strip, and a lot to explore there Wish I would have been able to check out the nature habitats but I was kind of on a time crunch Next time!!

Caitlin M

So I’ve only been to Vegas once so far

And I didn’t hate the hotel, but there is some room for improvement (Kind of like us all)Checking in is done at kiosks that rarely work properly and then you still have to wait for a real person, in line behind everyone else who can’t get their kiosk to work, just to get a less than pleased employee who gives you a snarky response and sends you back to wait for a kiosk Rinse and repeat, until you get into a roomThe hotel is, lived in Carpet in hallways is buckled and you can see years of wear and tearBUT, most of the staff (not working around desks or kiosks) were fantastic to be around and were accommodating The gaming floor is clean and being updated and renovated There’s great food, everywhere inside, at all times of day, and for all price points and tastesI’d stay there again, because you don’t have to spend much time in your room if you don’t want to It’s worth the money and close to everything

Jenna Triplett

We love this hotel! Casino has a great layout and easy to navigate The biggest con that we found was the pool The Go pool itself is great however their new set up for it is terrible

You have to get there by 8am (opens at 9) to get a chair otherwise you will end up having to find a spot on the concrete since your only other option is spending $500+ on daybeds/cabanas They are definitely catering towards the more wealthy guests or ones that are desperate enough to spend that much money Also, the music is so loud starting around 11am…like you can hear it your hotel room pretty well We have always loved the pool itself (the layout, the tropical feel, the waterfalls) but since they decided to change from tons of free lounge chairs to mostly having costly daybeds and very few chairs it sucks We won’t be coming back for that reason If they change it back to where there are mostly lounge chairs (which would be catering to most of their guest considering there are a lot of empty daybeds) then we may stay here again Also, the pool that kids can go to is the saddest thing we have ever seen It is so small and also has very limited seating The water slide is only open on the weekends apparently so i am sure there have been a lot of disappointed families

Eric checked us in he was very pleasant and helpful We had a one bedroom deluxe, the room was spectacular with an excellent view of the strip and the mountains We decided not to pay the housekeeping fee for our stay

There were vending machines and a trash chute on our floor The pool area was great and the food at the pool bar was delicious I would definitely stay here again

Marricke’ Metoyer

Really enjoyed the hotel and it was great for when all of my family needed to stay together Had just a few snags where we called to have some towels taken out of the room and no one showed And also the house cleaning service wasn’t offered as complimentary for 1 day considering that we stayed there for 6 nights

We either had to pay for house cleaning everyday as an extra charge and couldn’t just do 1 or 2 days Or get no house cleaning services at all Other than that it was nice

Christine McCullough

It was ok I was here for a business trip and, at the time of booking I was happy with the price and location to where I needed to be for my work there The room is very spacious, quiet, clean, and my view was awesome

The door to my room couldn’t shut from the inside unless I slammed my hip into it with all my force, or used all my might to pull it shut from the outside My last night there, there was no water to my room at all There wasn’t a number to call to ask about it anywhere listed in my room No one answered the number listed for them on Google so I had to go down to the lobby late at night to find an empty lobby counter and a sign for a different number to call I called and the lady said the water might be back on in maybe 2 hours and didn’t express any empathy as to how disruptive no water all night would be to their guest Customer service goes a long way in general, but especially in a city that has literally thousands of other hotels to choose from I do not feel inclined to stay here again when I come back Their bag retrieval kiosk wasn’t working when I went to use it my first night The outside bag drop guys were great though Only other issue was one of my sinks was clogged and drained very very slowly I read another review that this place is a bit outdated, and it’s true I didn’t take advantage of the kitchen appliances besides the fridge, which was leaking inside, but that kitchen area was a nice feature

I. Sahagun

We booked suite for 4 days So far Horrible customer service, the most basic appliance has not worked since we arrived

the microwave Day two and Nobody seems to know anything and wants to blame someone elseso unprofessional We are hoping they replace the microwave The price does not match the service We got the pen house suite and and the fact that we don’t have trash bags which is something so basic and kept calling house keeping which is taking forever In addition the valet parking is horrible! They don’t have enough parking so be prepared to park at MGM and then walk back and hopefully you get refunded $1500 for parking at MGM And if you are lucky to get valet parking at the hotel please plan accordinglyit takes like 30 minutes to 45 minutes to get your car They only have a few valet drivers Extremely understaffed The only positive is the view from the balcony is nice and the balcony is huge

M Osiris

Room the we got with bookingcom was greatBig, clean, nice view and all amenities that one needs

The checking on the other hand took 25 minutes (no joke) While i was the first person in line Only 2 employess ware at the register, each with a customer already and that took 25 minutes Insane and just poorAlso the walk to the district takes you through a labyrinth of shops and a casino floor, there is no direct wayBut again the room made it up for it in my case

This is a good, clean Residence Inn What really makes this property shine is its staff Front Desk staff was hyper professional and courteous

There was an issue with my gift card and they did all needed to fix it promptly The breakfast attendant was excellent Breakfast itself was also adequate Location is good, off the main road (quiet) near an outlet mall and restaurants

Jennifer J

The staff at Residence Inn Las Vegas, Airport were truly exceptional , especially Jacque I stay in hotels 40% of the entire year for my work and I’ve never quite had it this good They take the time to get to know you despite your temporary stay

It felt like home away from home The condition of the hotel was great The year round heated pool is exceptional The outdoor gas fire pit and grill was better than most It’s just a couple miles from the strip but very quiet The nearby neighborhoods make you feel like you’re in the country I spent 66 nights here with my young daughter and wife and I can’t tell you enough how continuously welcoming they are Breakfast wasn’t bad either!

Miguel Rojas

Silena and her team do a great job taking care of you Rooms are great, breakfast terrific, and staff is friendly I took the complimentary shuttle to the Mandalay Bay Casino one of the days and they were able to bring me back (I think last pickup is 10pm) thank you Ron

On my departure day, I was able to get a complimentary shuttle to the airport Thanks Richard Overall it was a great experience I hope to be back there next rime I’m in Vegas!

We are staying here for the third time now We came back because we liked the previous stays We keep our expectations for services realistic, and quite low, frankly, in the current pandemic

However this time, a dozen things went wrong They did not give us the room we booked, but a smaller room at the same price with a view of garbage bins The blackout curtains are shorter than the window, which was a bummer after a night of restless sleep because the room was too warm and the AC was too loud, which also dried the air horribly as expected The microwave does not work Most outlets in the room do not work The water for tea and coffee downstairs are tepid at best Strange institutional white lights in the room The front desk folks are rude Never staying here again

DIA BACA

Beautiful interior, wonderful Guest Services The staff are charming and welcoming of children Nice quiet peaceful area without traffic, although it is located next to a freeway, it is high up enough and it has sound blockers

It has good placement for catching the view and outstanding scenery as well as the grounds being well-groomed You won’t be hassled or harassed for hanging about and taking it all in I give this five stars for sure come check it out!

Walter Schroder

I realize that it’s extremely tough finding staff right now But that’s simply not an excuse for the property not only to be dirty but down right disgusting at times I also realize that they are doing renovations but what I saw has nothing to do with renovations

Nasty stuff smeared on the walls and door handles The shower looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in ages Mildew and dust all overRenovation related putting tape over the smoke detectors isn’t a good ideaOn the plus side, the bed was extremely comfortable And the chef was helpful during breakfastOtherwise, avoid this property

Linda C.

From the moment we checked into the hotel, Diego the clerk, was the most pleasant & accommodating Nice clean rooms Excellent food at the Brass Fork restaurant with some delectable pastry desserts, our fave was chocolate cake! Very nice gift shop with some unique gifts Security patrolled parking lots & a 7 eleven store nicely next door

Felt very safe here! Highly recommend if you don’t want the busyness of staying on the strip

Misty Laird

We didn’t feel like dealing with the parking/traffic hassles of the strip for this one day visit I have to say, pleasantly surprised by all the efforts they are putting in to make this location a real contender It was pleasantly bright, and even different entry points to the casino floor that let in a little natural light

There were drink attendants in every area, and they were frequently offering drinks There was a lively crowd at the table games, and either 2 or 3 craps tables going on a Friday afternoon, off strip Bathrooms were modern, very clean and stocked They have a few restaurants; the line for the limited seating oyster bar was around the corner We didn’t try it this time, but it definitely smelled good and will be first in line the next time All in all we had an enjoyable time, and felt appreciated by the facility Oh yeah, and we left with our bankroll even after buying lunch, so I mean, that’s a plus right there 😊 To finish up, just want to point out that the old days of Vegas are gone Most casinos are trying to squeeze nickels everywhere they can Parking fees, less comps, less free/promo play, and the food Anyway this was a nice change of pace If I had to fault one thing It would apply to many other casinos around here Why is Panda Express in so many? Their food is just mediocre I guess people eat there to stretch the bankroll for the slots Its just weird having fast food in a place that is excelling in other areas

Brandon Morrill

To be honest, this place was everything I hoped it would be It was a convenient location off the strip, economical, clean, and welcoming We stayed here for just one night as a stop towards our ultimate destination

I didn’t make the reservation until later that same day I called in and they were very helpful and transparent and got us the best/cheapest room that was available As I was traveling with my wife and three year old, weren’t too interested in the casino aspect of the hotel so I can’t speak to that but I didn’t like that we didn’t have to walk through too much of that to get to our room So I’d say it’s a good place for family if that’s what you’re looking for Not the most luxurious place by any means but I would definitely stay here again

This hotel has so much potential The rooms are nice, spacious, and have really amazing views However the quality feels lacking compared to some of the other hotels

No mini fridge, no coffee pot, and the room had some plumbing issues The grounds were awesome So much to do in the hotel The casino was great Friendly staff, fun environment, and clean I wish it was a little more updated

DjSmiley

This was our best trip yet The food was terrific, we enjoyed every meal and late snaking at secret pizza The games were slow but entertaining, and the tables were a blast

The room is what completes a great stay There balcony rooms are a real game changer Nice and clean with big showers Great experience ✨️

It’s about 2 big blocks from the strip so it is walkable but wear comfortable shoes The inside is very clean and welcoming but also business-y and professional Perfect for work trips and very close to the airport

They also gave us two complimentary breakfast cards each (good for two people) and you get about 4 choices of breakfast The big breakfast with potatoes and fried eggs was big and good, but my favorite was the continental breakfast; the fruit was fresh and the parfait was absolutely delicious! In addition to all that, they gave us two complimentary dessert tickets and four drink tickets (good for beer and wine at their bar) The rooms were clean and comfy, i had a great view of the line ferris wheel which looked awesome at night and the other side had a view of the battle bots building and top golf in the distance Overall i was very impressed and happy with my stay here!

Ravishankar Sivasubramaniam

I love this hotel located super convenient to all activities on the strip Very clean, smoke-free, and modern The staff is super friendly

There are many comfortable sofas to lounge and work on Rooms are clean, comfortable, and cozy The restaurant is adequate for quick bites Hibiscus spa is lovely The sauna, steam room, and meditation rooms are convenient and usable Overall enjoyable experience and an excellent place to stay with family

Elliott K

Stayed at the Westin for a long weekend for leisure The hotel is located close to the strip in an ideal spot to enjoy the Vegas strip without actually being right thereThe hotel staff were very friendly and the bar and amenities in the lobby area were very nice

It was definitely a nice place to relax before/after roaming and partying on the strip for a few hoursThe room was clean, but a bit dated with popcorn ceilings A tub would have been nice considering my maxed Marriott status, got free continental breakfast, some free desserts and drink tickets which were really paid for by an additional resort feeDefinitely would visit again, a nice low-key place to stay so you can enjoy the craziness of the strip with somewhere more peaceful and quiet to stay

We came here because we had such a good experience when we came a few years back At that time we were taken care of by a wonderful hospitable employee and the room was incredible This time we asked to upgrade the room so we had more space for our small children as we had a long drive and they needed room to expel energy

We were charged for the upgrade at full price of the room – meaning we basically paid for an upgraded room and a basic king We were asked if we wanted a remodeled room or not for an additional fee We opted for an upgraded room When we got to the room we were disappointed to find it was not cleaned and unidentified liquids all over the tables and walls The bathrooms smelled as though they had been backed up for a week We tried to give our kids a bath and the water wouldn’t heat up We called and were told the engineer would come up and take a look at it -this was around midnight After waiting for a short time we decided it might be best to avoid staying up all night and request a new room When we called again we were told we weren’t being patient enough and that we needed to wait longer When we asked for the new room they said they would not change the room unless the engineer deemed ours unworkable We turned on the water again and waited until the engineer arrived about 45 minutes after the first call Within 5 minutes of his arrival the water finally began to heat up and we were told to stay in our room Expect to wait 45 minutes for your water to heat before being able to take a shower We were disappointed in the service provided and the standard of guest treatment they have from their employees -I will admit after the second call I was not at my best due to our long drive, how late it was, upset children and the status of our room As a guest I had expected a clean room, a room that didn’t smell like a sewer and functional hot water within a reasonable amount of time (45 minutes did not seem reasonable to me) we were disappointed to have paid an additional room price, and get the room we got with the service provided Wish we could be refunded but that’s as big a dream as wishing we never stayed hereOn the positive side we were not directly on the strip

This hotel, prior to the hitting of Covid was a great place to be at, especially when the float parade took place above the casino The parade was stopped and according to one employer, the parade may never return due to new ownership of the Rio by the Caesar’s groupThe hotel rooms were nice, though the mini-bars have disappeared, and the furniture seemed rather dated

The price of the rooms was fantastic though it is hard to swallow the nearly $40 per night resort feesWith the right mindset this place can be really hopping again, and a great destinationThe show WOW was exactly that: WOW!! Great show that you could take your young kids, perhaps as young as 5 to it The price of drinks in the show will leave your wallet much lighter though sadlyAll in all, I hope Caesar’s will continue to make this a great place again! It was worth the money to stay there!

I chose to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Las Vegas opposed to staying on the strip I’m glad I did The hotel rates were less expensive and the rooms more appealing

The hotel was convenient (less than 10 min from the strip), comfortable, and not too crowded The staff was professional and accommodating I was able to check in earlier than the check in time which was a lifesaver This was my first time visiting Las Vegas which was a little intimidating for me, especially since I was traveling alone Thanks to the staff I was at ease in having all my requests met I appreciated having the restaurant on site I didn’t have to go out unless I had to There were good items on the menu items and prices were affordable I will definitely choose to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn when I return – Leslie Brown Atlanta, GA

If you didn’t want to stay on the lively strip and wanted to rest your head in a quiet hotel then this was the perfect location It was a 5-10 drive from the strip and airport They were nice to hold our luggage before our room was ready

And also when we checked out and had a later flightThe only problems I would say for this hotel was that the snack bar was very expensive $6 for a water bottle! Also that the continental breakfast was not free They wanted to charge us $1199 per person! For the cold food, like yogurt, cereal, fruit But if we wanted the hot food we would have to sit down and be taken care of by a staff member I wasn’t pleased about that but overall the hotel was a fine place to stay

Loved this hotel! Stay was fantastic 3 or 4 Free Tesla Chargers in the parking garage (first come first serve) Garage has vehicle entry for only hotel guests

Room is very comfortable and clean with extra sanitization wipes Hotel seems newer with neutral interior aesthetics and walk in showers Fast Lyft ride to the strip and easy access to fast food restaurants and freeway Would highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I came to Vegas to celebrate his birthday We stayed in a Grand King Strip View room The room was very nice

First we booked the West Wing but after looking at YouTube videos and speaking with front desk, we found out that most the west wing rooms do not have a view and are not the best, so we upgraded Very nice, spacious room and bathroom We made sure not to touch the bar or refrigerator as they have signs saying not to move anything else you could be charged And also not to store personal stuff in the fridge There are periods of time when the elevator bank in the lobby gets crowded You could be waiting to get in an elevator up to 5 minutesThere are many places to eat at the MGM, clubs, casino of course, big screen TVs to watch the games, contact less check out etc It was a pretty good hotel and conveniently located on the strip I would stay here again Masks are required in public spaces They have mask polices strategically placed throughout the 1st floor

My boyfriend and I recently spent a few nights here on our trip to the USA!They had some great promotions going on and we got a great deal on the Grand King Room! We had a view of the airport, which we loved being skydivers!HUGE perk for us was the online check in and check out! No need to stand in the line waiting Just scan the code and input your info and you’re good to goWe needed assistance with the parking and they were very quick, helpful and friendly

The hotel is HUGE!! It has anything you might need from food, to clothes, entertainment, transportation, souvenirs, Casino of course, and so so much more!We really enjoyed our stay here Our only “complaint” was the smoking in the Casino, which we know is normal here, but just not for us!But there is areas you can stay away from it, so not badOverall we loved our stay and would definitely come back again

Great hotel to spend time with family and friends With the MGM grand app it was so easy to check in my room without even stopping by the front desk The room is clean and very spacious

Hotel staff is amazing So many things to do You can spend time at the casino or enjoy the many restaurants and bar, or chill by the pool I will definitely go back again

My first time ever staying here The rooms were quite roomy and clean so where the bathrooms The hallways were large and mostly quiet

This is a different kind of an atmosphere if you are looking for more of a calm casino this would be it The restaurants here are good as well Free valet parking Tipping is optional but I recommend it because these people work very hard

Donald E. Fobbs

Living right by this place, I must say that i actually enjoy this place a bit more than I do Red Rock It has a big casino look, with a smaller more local oriented feel The staff has always been kind to me and my family when we go there

The rooms are surprisingly awesome for a place not on the strip If you’re looking to stay somewhere that’s not on the strip, affordable and still fun, then give the Suncoast a chance

Kristi Sherman

We had a wonderful week! The bed was comfortable enough The size of the room is better than expected The pool bartender, Julia is a beautiful person inside and out

The restaurants are delicious Areas of improvement: The TV remote was very difficult to deal with (room 923) The pool was only 3 to 4 feet deep and quite small The slots were not very kind but quite fun LOL
