Terre Haute is our halfway point between KS & PA We stayed at the Fairfield two times in a week I have only wonderful things to say

The staff is very accommodating! The breakfast attendant, Bonnie, is so friendly! She thoroughly wiped down and brought me a high chair and asked several times if we needed anything (We stayed at a nearby hotel in the past with a less than friendly breakfast attendant!) Great breakfast, clean rooms We’ll be back!

This is the second time I’ve had reservations here Summarized: STAY AWAYThe first go round (2 months back), they were overbooked, but put me in a different room type

No big deal It’s just me But the toilet didn’t flush I was there for a few nights, so I asked for maintenance to come up I was promised they would, but no one was ever called No one ever came even when I followed up multiple times that day They proceeded to give me a new room (how could they if they were overbooked?) and I was told blatantly that the other person lied to me Breakfast that day was ok Not the best not the worstThis time: I show up They’re overbooked and they booked me at the place next door (Comfort Suites) without even talking to me I said no thank you And walked outI routinely come to town every 45 days for work I’ll never stay here

Joe Lutz

Best hotel in Terre Haute, we will be staying here every time we come through now Staff is amazing, my wife left her air pods and they found them and gave her a call They also brought us up a couple extra pillows real late when we asked

Breakfast is amazing The NICEST staff I’ve ever been around – thank you Fairfield Inn for taking care of us like we are family!

I chose this hotel because based on the photos it looked nice Pictures are definitely deceiving It wasn’t a terrible stay but the room smelled, curtains were ripped, the doors don’t fit the frames well so it looks shady and unsafe, bathtub was dirty, there are no USB plug ins and the locks to the pool and the back of the building don’t work

The breakfast was decent for a hotel breakfast except they unplugged the warmers 2 hours before the end time so the eggs, biscuits and gravy started to get cold and hard The lady at the front desk was very nice though and overall I slept well

Good place Clean Excellent late night check-in with a wonderfully helpful and cheery person

They do allow pets for a $40 charge, which is higher than most roadside hotels, but the room rate was excellent and made up the difference The room was comfortable and clean The bathroom was clean but the tile grout around the tub was at that point that at home I would have gotten grout cleaner out by now — not bad enough to be gross but needs attention

Barbara Kowalsky

Location is perfect and the price was reasonable I did have an issue with my room when I tried to lower the a/c and the heat turned on and made the room smell Sharlee was so wonderful and sweet

She not only changed my room but she followed up with me about an hour later to make sure there weren’t any other issues Just amazing customer service! I will definitely stay at this hotel again

Louise McKinney

The desk clerk on check in was wonderful – cheerful, informativeThe desk clerk at check out was the same When I mentioned that the toilet was not flushing properly, she apologized nicely and made a note to get it looked at

The room was clean and comfortableI travel through Terre Haute several times a year and will definitely stay again

Room is comfortable and clean but the walls are paper thin Bed is on the softer side and I slept well but there were only three pillows Each of us needed 2 since they are on the thin side

Location is convenient to restaurants, grocery and general merchandise stores The alternative is to stay in the quagmire of the South Third Street/I-70 districtThe downside to this hotel is that it is poorly staffed The facility was sold out and only one person was working the check-in Also, there are only 2 luggage carts in the place so it was a rather long wait to get our belongings carried in This Hilton brand hotel has in my opinion the worst breakfasts consisting of packaged foods and breakfast sandwiches that needed to be microwaved There were biscuits and gravy but the biscuits were straight from the fridge and the gravy was lukewarm The hostess was very friendly and helpful but was working without assistance and trying to do it all It is my opinion the managers should step in to help during the breakfast rush Another problem with this brand is the setup of the breakfast room Its all in on one long counter, except for the coffee This setup led to long lines They should set it up similar how the Hampton Inn brand sets theirs upAll in all it was a good place to stay

Anton Perreau

This was our first stay at a Home2 Suites Hilton We LOVED it, especially for the price point, amenities and decorThis is a no-nonsense, friendly and comfortable budget hotel that makes you feel at home

The designers have clearly really considered the experience here, cut down on frills, and upped on things you genuinely needWe’ll stay again!

Christopher Hall II

A decent stay Room was clean and in order Expected items (ice bucket, soaps, etc) were present

The staff was professional and quick to answer any questions The pool was closed, unfortunately, but not a big deal to me personally The only issue I had was with the back door (near the stairs)—something was wrong with the lock that it would only work intermittently, forcing me to walk all the way around to the front with my luggage Not a huge issue, just a minor inconvenience

I really enjoyed my stay here The large rooms give an inviting feel right upon entering Inside was all the appliances I would need and everything worked well

The A/C was the MVP always keeping the room comfortable and the wireless internet was consistently reliable I would recommend an ethernet cable for reassurance or for higher throughput needs I was able to complete a workout in the fitness center and though the dumbbells are limited, one can enjoy a good workout regardless of fitness level Again, I really enjoyed my stay The staff are friendly and accommodating and the facility really puts its guests first Will definitely be coming back!

Lots of room to spread out, free wifi, and free breakfast buffet (mostly continental, but a nice selection) Generous check-out (12pm instead of 11am) Two-night stay

Be aware that housekeeping only cleans rooms and refreshes towels every other day Somewhat secluded off the highway Multiple shopping options nearby, some within walking distance

Aaron Short

Used points to stay here Would have been worth it to pay and stay at the Home2 Suites, a Hilton property Rooms are highly dated, outlets didn’t work, had to switch rooms

Initially told I couldn’t check in a couple hours early, but then allowed after we planted ourselves in the lobby Just not a well run facility Would have expected better for a Marriott property

Christina Wilkins

Bugs and hair in the beds, requested to move rooms and the next room also had bugs and hair in the sheets as well as a door that wouldn’t lock with a strong smell of animal urine Front desk basically said “oh well” Left without staying

Extremely disappointing from a national chain that’s usually pretty consistent Making me rethink my company’s relationship with Marriott

Honestly one of the best stays I’ve ever had No, the hotel is not 100% modernized, but it is nice enough and comfortable The rooms are pretty big as well

The staff is incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is going well Breakfast was really good and they switch it up every day, which is nice for people like myself who stay for 2+ weeks at a time They are dog-friendly and have several trash cans outside to clean up after them

This is an exceptional hotel with an outstanding staff!Ben checked in 37 of us in record time Ben is polite, friendly, and extremely personable He was our main contact for our 3 day stay

Great employee and a fantastic example of customer service in top formThe hotel was clean and well taken care of with all the modern amenities We will stay here again when we return to see more that the area has to offer

Tiffany Bridges

Travel nurse- I always stay here when on assignment in the area Front desk Ben is amazing and super friendly! Rooms are always super clean and nice hot water I wish the water pressure was a little better but that can’t really be helped

Also some grab and go breakfast options would he great I leave my room really early I was told there are to go bags but there weren’t any out when I left so maybe I was too early Walls are a little thin I could definitely hear my neighbors conversations and TV but again can’t really be helped They weren’t being loud so it was fine Always a pleasure to stay here!

Best Western Covered Bridge InnBRAZIL, INDIANA – 25 FEB – 26 FEBWell signaged from the Interstate 70 Not far from the highway, but quietVery friendly and helpful male receptionist

Coffee 24/7 in the reception, and also in the room Excellent, seemingly new large rooms, perfect cleaned Firm and comfortable bed, working desk, fridge, microwave – everything traveler needsThe hotel also cares for the environment and has large bottles with shampoo, conditioner, hand – and body wash dispensers are installed in the bathroomThe DOWNSIDE:Internet reception was non-existent Every other minute it stopped for a while and then stopped completely for the evening, the night, and in the morning until I left As I had a deadline to email an article and also needed to search for next day’s route and download a map for the long trip I had to take this day To make it even worse:The walls are paper-thin, I could hear all the conversations from neighboring rooms

Nice hotel, clean rooms, great service! Rooms were good and clean, includes mini fridge and microwave, bathrooms were nice Longhorn steakhouse is attached to the hotel and you get 10% off if you show your room key The pool and hot tub were very nice

Convenient to interstate, which was great Included breakfast was good Check-in was easy and our clerk was super nice Few drawbacks: only 4 pillows which were small and not very supportive (we had 4 people, usually in hotels my husband and I use 2 pillows since hotel pillows are so weak), bed was fine but on the harder side Didn’t bother me, but could be too firm for some Our room window opened to the next hallway, which was weird There appeared to be a small amount of algae growing on the corner of the shelf in the tub/shower A toothbrush dipped in bleach would get that right off Overall a good stay and would recommend

Jessica Christian

We ended up staying here on our way home from vacation We travel pretty frequently and my husband for work and we stick exclusively to Hilton brand hotels Most of the staff were not really professional, however, the woman at the front desk while we were leaving was

The hallways to the rooms smelled like what I would describe as a mix of “nursing home” and urine It was unpleasant We thought maybe it was an oddity, but it was both the second and third floor hallways The room however did not have that, thank goodness It was fairly clean and comfortable I attached some photos of the spectacular view being a platinum member gets you (We didn’t really care, just thought it was comical) Lol Overall, if I had to choose I would not stay here again

Candi Pool

We stayed over Easter weekend and the pools heater had went out a few days before we checked in It was extremely cold I talked to the manager Zack and he said there was nothing he would do for us

Mind you we stay at this hotel at least six times a year He was extremely rude to me and disrespectful It would have been nice they let us know before we checked in Our grandkids would not get in because it was like ice water Really sad Zack was so rude Our next trip is in the end of may I will definitely be finding a different hotel We paid over 180 a night for the nice pool that is why we stay here😞

Christine McGowan

The room was very clean and comfortable The breakfast was decent and the front desk staff was great Our room was the first inside the outer side door

We have two cats and needed a pet friendly room While the location of the room was terrific, it did not have a platform bed So immediately the cats ran u see the bed In the morning it took us 15 minutes to get the cat out from under the bed The two previous La Quintas we stayed in had a platform bed which made it very easy I would not consider this a pet friendly room It was a handicap room with a large bathroom and wheelchair accessible shower The bed is the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 Consider platform beds for the “pet friendly” rooms

Alison Hill

Everything was better than expected Clean! However, my dad was not able to get a handicap room, so they got a first floor room His room had a standard tub/shower

My room on the 4th floor had a walk in shower that would have worked for him! Staff needs to know their product better and ask more questions to get guests into the proper room Get breakfast early! If you don’t, you won’t get any Breakfast items were not refilled and gone by 8am even though breakfast goes until 9am Trash can was emptied, but no bag replaced So, guests had no choice but to put trash in unlined receptacle Did not see staff until we checked out around 10am Room was great, and clean However, door to bathroom was at a weird angle and made it hard to use the microwave/refrigerator area Refrigerator was cold, bed was wonderful, in love with the desk chair AC chilled super fast!

Sam Sachs

This is a pretty decent place to stay if you find yourself in Terre Haute It’s right off of I-70 and has a number of food options close by The hotel itself is definitely on the newer side, and seems clean and well taken care of

Rooms were decently large and included typical amenities such as a microwave and fridge The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch and included a good variety of hot items to pick from, though the coffee situation was lackluster at best and didn’t even include to-go lids The biggest drawback was how loud the rooms are I could hear every footstep from the room above me, and had to contend with a gaggle of loud teenage girls running around the hallways for a good portion of the night which really hampered the whole experience Overall not a bad place to stay as long as you have respectful neighbors around you
