Purchased two day passes The bar is not open during the week A security man directed us to walk through the hotel to purchase drinks from the restaurant

Then to follow up the next time saying we can’t walk through the hotel We have to enter outside during a pandemic while wet from a water park to purchase drinks to bring back through ? Are you serious? 40$ Is already over priced for the small amenities that were open The hot tub outside portion is closed The cyclone was closed The bar is closed The front desk is closed There is a huge line for check in due to there is only one employee in the arcade taking care of everything The bar tender at the restaurant was very nice and accommodating However the man who claims to be security but wouldn’t even help the poor girl in arcade is terrible ! Won’t be back

This hotel is very nice and appears clean However, the service here is not good We stayed 4 nights and didn’t use the water park at all

I read in an earlier response on a review that they don’t do housekeeping services for the room unless you are staying 4 nights or more That would be fine if you could at least get the necessities taken care of I called for fresh towels twice, on different days and never got them Had to send my husband for toilet paper as they didn’t even replenish that Family in another room took their own trash out I get the “due to covid” excuse for reducing housekeeping services, but they shouldn’t be completely eliminated, which is honestly how it seemed I even asked the housekeeping one day for towels and while one of them were friendly and explained that I needed to call down to the front, the other housekeeper butted in and stated “we aren’t doing towels today, we are trying to clean” as she was furiously mopping the floor in the room across the hallIt wasn’t all bad Michael in the dining room has a great sense of humor and was awesome to give a hard (jokingly) time to The bartender that was down there last night, 6/19/22, was awesome I unfortunately didn’t catch his name However he was right on top of refills and foodOverall it was a so so experience We check out of the hotel today so at least I’ll be able to get fresh towels when I get back homeImprove on housekeeping services and friendliness of your staff and this would be a place I’d probably return And honestly, for guests staying 4 nights and paying the cost of this room, they should be able to get their room necessities replenished at least every other day Change the trash and towels, refill the toilet paper I don’t care if the bed isn’t made although that is always a plusAnyway, that’s my two cents I wish this hotel lots of luck and getting quality staff to turn a lot of these negative experiences around

Our stay was amazing! We had great customer service The hotel staff was accommodating, helpful and friendly The manager, Juve, was attentive and took the time to talk with us

We had drinks in the water park with Ken, who was Awesome!!!! He was personal and had a very chill vibe, which is necessary when so many kids are running and swimming around! We came down to Didi’s to order dinner and Kendra was super friendly, funny and quick to deliver drinks when she was busy We are a large group (3 adults, 5 kids) and we would absolutely come back here again!!!

Had a King room Small but very efficient Lots ot nooks and hooks to put stuff

The lobby has a chic multi-use feel like a pool table The breakfast was standard for a hotel Thought it was a very cool approach to an economy-grade hotel Cheap, hip and efficientThis was my first stay at a Tru sub-brand for Hilton My only major complaint is the walls are very thin I heard conversations through the wall from the room next to me On the other side I could hear when the guests were walking Kind of a huge issue when you are staying in a hotel room

Old AmericInn pushing like it’s on it’s last leg Maybe I’m picky but there’s a list of things could be upgraded for the price to comparable hotels nearby Let me explain

Rooms smell like old basement Air conditioner has car freshener “Glade” inside the vents in attempt to mask the smell but obviously not working The “included breakfast” is bagged take out of banana, granola bar, orange juice, snack muffin and water There are no elevators in this hotel No support from staff to setup room tv for CC (closed caption) since I’m hearing impaired Bathroom fans are blowing air INTO the bathroom as opposed to sucking the air out of the bathroom No grab bars in shower Coffee maker has 6″ powercord and the only place to operate this is on the limited sink countertop space No doorman and generally seems like just one person managing front desk Whirl pool is out of commissionI definitely cannot recommend this hotel This is not what at I would call quality hotel The only plus I saw was one nice gentleman working the front desk answering questions in a friendly mannerPaying a discount at $129 for room + $16 tax/fee per night was nowhere near my expectations Will never visit here again

lornasback68

The owner was great Very friendly and helpfulHowever, the room smelled funky

No breakfast was provided (it stated online and in the book in the room breakfast was provided) This is an older building without any elevator, which we did not know prior to arrival It is a good thing to know We were on the 2nd floor and had luggage and a coolerThe bed was super comfortable The water pressure in the shower was excellent

Ellie G

NEEDS an update I felt okay sleeping in the beds and sheets were nice and clean, but the rest of it needs to be updated Mildew smell in the bathroom, very small

Hallways had plug in air fresheners to cover up smells Current breakfast is a small “sack lunch” to go Staff was friendly and check in and out was smooth Could be a nice little hotel with some needed upgrades

This is our very favorite hotel in the Milwaukee area! It’s right off the highway so it’s easy to jump on and go anywhere from here Yet it’s got the suburban charm that we are accustomed to Every employee is always so friendly and welcoming

Rooms are clean, updated, and neatly decorated and provide fridge and microwave Love the pool and hot tub here which was open until 11:00 Breakfast was served until 9:30 and was well-stocked They offered a great variety: omelets, sausage, warm cinnamon rolls, pancakes, cereal options, and of course coffee with flavored creamer I don’t need any more than that! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back here next time!

Stayed here for a business trip for 4 days Very nice rooms and clean hotel Front desk and the dinner bar area staff were all excellent! Continental Breakfast was included for my business stay and was exactly the same every day, but, the food was good

I had an issue with the shower leaking water and there wasn’t enough water pressure to shower and they fixed it right the 1st time The maintenance staff even cleaned up after themselves The handicap accessible rooms are very accessible They have great safety bars in the shower along with a nice bench seat that folds down and is very secure For a bath you can secure the bench back up just as easily The room has enough room to move around in a small to medium wheelchairThe pool also has a jacuzzi next to it, but it has way too much chlorine it, burning my eyes and was just too strong to stay in Pool was nicely located next to the exercise room Exercise room was a small one, but happy they had one to exercise inFood for dinner was very good and ate here everynight during my stayWill stay here again if it’s for business or pleasure

Excellent stay at the Milwaukee Marriott West We were only in town for the night but we’re able to book online prior and get a aaa discount Nice clean room, nothing too fancy but lots of room to spread out

Shower leaved a little to be desired but overall a decent hotel roomEnded up snowing us in at the hotel so we had dinner and breakfast at the BLVD restaurant attached to the lobby Excellent service from Shelly as our waitress for both dinner and breakfast Tasty cocktails and a perfectly cooked steak made dinner a great experience The breakfast buffet was fine and a great value but we would have preferred to order off the menu if we had been able Overall great experience at this hotel bar/restaurantPool and hottub were small but nice It was very cool it opens at 6am as we were able to jump in with a coffee and relax in the jets Natural light from the large row of windows was nice and made it a perfect start to the dayThanks Milwaukee Marriott West, would definitely stay again if we are in the area!

Heather Bolan

We recently stayed here for a wedding The ballroom was a really great venue However, there was a mosquito issue, with mosquitoes in the lobby for both days we were there and really bad right outside of the entrance

Room service never came to clean our room the two days we were here… Our shower was not cleaned and we had an empty body wash container in the shower- given the size of the bottles it was not checked for a long time People in our group also reported not having any soap/shampoo in their shower… overall beautiful hotel but enough “little things” that weren’t so great easy adjustments for the future

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable The fitness room was a joke The TV wouldn’t come on nor the treadmill

I took a Clorox wipe to wipe down the equipment I used and it was filthy!!! I meant to take pictures but forgot The elevator is EXTREMELY SLOW!! The breakfast looked good We didn’t eat though All in all I would stay here again

James Nielsen

Prices for these rooms are NOT worth it Elevator worked 1/2 of the time Kids running up and down the hallways all hours of the night and staff did nothing

The hot tub was constantly filled with kids, even when they’re not supposed to be in the hot tub without parental supervision No adult time whatsoever This is NOT the place to come and relax You will leave more stressed than when you came Trust me My wife and I will NEVER come here again!

Walked in to reserve at 10 pm, got to the room and it was hot and smelly, shoes stuck to the carpet My kids were sketched out upon arrival of hotel, they must have extended stays on first floor- people were peeking out their windows We were there for 5 minutes and decided we didn’t feel comfortable sleeping there

Rate was $180 and definitely not worth that Immediately checked out, front office gal said she couldn’t refund my money Manager confirmed; rudely through email because he wasn’t there Got emails saying the manager “checked out the hotel room and it was clean” Drove 40 minutes north to Germantown and stayed in a nice Country Inn and Suites for half the price

Dylan Knoespel

Don’t stay here I stayed here two nights When I came back to my room the 2nd night, the bed was made so I knew housekeeping came to change sheets

When I went to get into bed, I realized there was blood on the fresh sheets, which was not there in the morning when I left…totally disgusting I talked to the front desk and exchanged emails with the manager, asking for a refund for my 2nd night The manager refused to understand my position, and continually claimed that there was no blood on the sheets, and that the staff wouldn’t have even touched the sheets or made the bed with blood on them He also claimed it could have been there from me from my first night sleeping, but why would his staff have made the bed if his other comment was true?? I will never stay at another Baymont

This was my second stay here This hotel has the best staff I’ve ever encountered No matter their position at the hotel the take the time to talk to you ask how your stay is, ask if you’ve had a nice visit and to come back

The maintainence man recognized me from my first stay The breakfast had a nice variety and the coffee was decent The staff friendliness makes others friendly I will definitely stay again Also clean and well maintained Walking distance to shopping and food

I feel like I never give hotels 5 stars They always seem to have something wrong This place is by far the exception to the rule! Check in was super fast and easy, the room was PHEONOMINAL and very very clean

The shower had a great shower head with lots of hot water with plenty of pressure The towels were nice and the soaps and shampoos that were provided were great! In the morning the breakfast provided all looked great! We had breakfast plans elsewhere but I grabbed a banana and some milk The fruit ALL looked fresh and ripe and the milk was crazy cold like it should be! Everything else that was set out looked just as good! Whenever I’m back in the Oconomowoc area I for sure will be staying here again!

Not your ordinary hotel Wonderful accommodations Very nice sized rooms

You won’t trip over your luggage in this room Bed is very, very comfortable Bathroom is a real bathroom – you don’t have to climb in the tub to shut the door to the bathroom The shower should have a timer on it as it is too much fun Two TV’s; one in the sitting area; the other faces the bed On site restaurant completes the package Close enough to “downtown” that you can walk anywhere Very quiet Only things hotel could consider – more/better lighting in bathroom for applying makeup (wife’s suggestion) and USB outlets for charging laptops, phones, etc (husband’s suggestion)

Charlotte Nimmer

My husband and I stayed at The Delafield hotel this March for my birthday When we checked in and went up to our room, we entered into a freezing cold room where the thermostat read 59 degrees The room itself was also probably the worst room in the entire hotel, it was small and very claustrophobic feeling, with only one tiny window

We called the front desk, who told us to give it time, it’s a new system No thank you, we’d like to go to bed and not freeze for the rest of the night As a side note, we had been warned by my sister and husband about this exact situation, which had been their experience in January They were given a chilly room and told to wait it out We requested a new room, and when we walked into this one, it was only slightly warmer than the first The hallway leading to the room was warmer than the room itself This was totally unacceptable for what we paid for an upscale hotel I went down once more and said that we needed a new room The concierge put us in what he said was an “upgrade”, which meant a double king room (2 separate king beds) At this point we just wanted a warm, inhabitable room and would settle with it The room was set at 72 degrees, which was ok but there were massive cold drafts coming through the 2 poorly insulated windows After all this running around and changing floors and rooms, we were completely annoyed and not very happy with our situation, especially as this was my birthday and we had to waste our time on something that should be a given at any hotel Unfortunately, this was not the end to our disappointment The next morning, I woke up with itchy red bite marks on my leg The hotel manager addressed this very quickly and seriously once informed, and immediately had the room and surrounding rooms checked by pest control Thankfully there were no bugs found, so I can only surmise that this was just an unlucky fluke for me The manager also spoke with us personally and apologized for our not up to standard stay, and she graciously gave us a full refund for our troubles I greatly appreciate her management of the situation, I hope that we can give The Delafield Hotel another try again in the future, as it is one of the few lovely hotels in the Milwaukee area

The lodge is nicely located to enjoy Milwaukee without having to deal with much traffic or crowds The room was a decent basic hotel room and we took full advantage of the mini fridge and microwave Josh, Jennifer, and Michelle were all amazing during our stay

The bar was open for the first time in two years during our stay and there were definitely a few kinks, but Michelle was very sweet and accommodating I had the best sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel thanks to Jennifer And Josh was a delight to chat with anytime we were coming or going He did a fantastic job keeping a family friendly hotel an enjoyable stay for a couple’s getaway too!

Melanie Kaffl

I selected this hotel based on price and location, and was rewarded with a lovely stay The Wildwood Lodge is the kind of property other independent hotels aspire to be, and they do it without the resources of a national brand Even though this is not a luxury accommodation, it was clean, very comfortable, and met my needs as a basic business traveler

I would like to specifically recognize staff members Josh and Amanda for their outgoing and courteous manner They each left me feeling like whatever I needed would be handled with a smile Well done!

Thomas Olson

So the check in was great and the staff to us seemed polite and nice, the breakfast was a typical continental hotel breakfast, but here is the doozy! The place is looking pretty rundown and needs a good maintenance team, the noise from outside was pretty loud, and the room was horribly cleaned It doesn’t seem like they did anything from the previous guests The toilet had dry urine on it, the bottom of the tub I would advise using flip flops in and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking your bedding before going to bed

The first impression is a lasting one and I will not be back to this place again

For the money, this hotel was nice The rooms were clean and well equipped with a good sized fridge, microwave & coffee maker The entire staff from the front desk, breakfast attendant to the housekeeping personnel were very friendly and professional

It was nice to see a good breakfast spread that even had cheese omelets on the weekendThe hotel is nice inside and out and was happy to say we were staying here It’s very conveniently located just off the interstate with lots of shopping very close by Definitely will stay here again when the time comesMy mom and I were visiting the area after the passing of her mother We weren’t in our best times, but our stay here helped more than we expected The cleanliness, amenities and personnel made our stay great Finding a nice place to stay while here to keep our mind off the reason we were here was a plusThank you

Allison Ensley

The service was amazing Pool and hot tub were an added bonus for the kids! The room was nice and clean Although the beds did not seem like a standard size Queen, they were quite comfy

Pillows were also comfy The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because the shower made an awful high pitched sound during my entire shower Breakfast is your usual free hotel breakfast, make your own waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit, toast and bagels, and a microwaveable breakfast sandwich Will stay here again when visiting my family there

Kathryn Adelsen

I travel a lot with my dog, decided to try this hotel for this trip Average stay I was there Sunday night at the beginning of our trip and the following Saturday night on our return trip from Minnesota

pool is nice Friendly staff Breakfast is basic However my issue is with the rooms and exterior both the pet rooms we were assigned had Black dog hair from previous guests all over the bathroom floor especially by the wall edges and the Sunday room had some Human hair stuck to the shower The pet relief area was hard to access due to snow and no plow had been through Saturday night and side entrance sidewalks and door was covered in snow I asked the front desk about why no snow plow had been through upon checkout, and she said she would call someone but it was 915 Am Usually plow services are through early I almost fell outside getting my luggage out of car and into the hotel Saturday night I expected better/clean pet rooms since there was the fee which I assumed was for extra cleaning but 2 different rooms on opposite ends of the building with similar conditions makes it not seem that way Seems like it could be a better hotel with a little more attention to the rooms and shoveling the side entry sidewalk would have been nice on Saturday night Hotel Didn’t seem that busy so I don’t think it would take much more effort from staff I would’ve shoveled if there was one by the door

We stayed for several days/nights in room 123 and were very happy with our stay The newly decorated lobby is stunning and the front desk staff are very friendly and very helpful We enjoyed the free coffee, hot cocoa and tea you can get 24/7 in the lobby

The restaurant served very good food, especially the Tomato Bisque soup which was served with cheese bread which was divine! The waitress was excellent, friendly and very helpful with any questions we had Everyone there made us feel right at home The pool was nice and the hot tub much enjoyed as well Our room was clean and had everything we needed Bed was very comfortable with several pillows to choose from for just the right nights sleep! We will definitely be returning to this hotel again My only suggestion would be to have some rooms be absolutely pet free for those with pet allergies as I believe all the rooms are pet friendly Thank you for a great stay John & Sharon C

We were there for a wedding, we had to switch our room from a king to a double queen bed and they were very accommodating Clean rooms, nice facility I’m giving it 4 stars because the bride did not have the best customer service when trying to accommodate her out of town guests

They told her they were too full to accommodate her elderly pastor that drove over 2 hours to officiate their wedding Book very very early if you’re planning on staying there!

I had a great experience Check in process was great and I was recognized as a Diamond member No mention of a room upgrade

Bottled water was provided in the room Room was nice and clean Very modern Plenty of plugs and USB ports Room had a coffee maker Bathroom had regular size bath towels Shower water pressure was fair No charge for parking Ordered breakfast in the morning A little overpriced ($14 for scrambled eggs and sausage links) A free continental breakfast was also available Overall experience was excellent

I’ve stayed in many Hilton brand hotels in different cities and this was one of the cleanest rooms I’ve checked into There’s usually something gross to prove the cleaning staff didn’t do a thorough job, but at this place it was good except for dusty and a bit of grime in corners, and some sticky spots on the counters that I was able to deal with myself using cleaning wipes provided in the lobby The staff from front desk to maintenence was generally friendly and/or helpful

The 2 queen room layout was nice & spacious The gym & pool areas were neat and organized, and the patio areas were pleasant The breakfast was all packaged or individually wrapped items and things to microwave, not the continental buffet you get at other locations, but it was decent I would recommend this location 👍🏽

The bed was hard and the thin walls and ceiling allowed noise into my room I couldn’t even sleep in past 7am with dang noise Also, why no tub in the bathroom? Not everyone wants to take a shower only

I’ve got a bad back and I like to soak by myself and not with a bunch of random people in the gross hot tub Some of the dishes in the room weren’t clean either so that’s nice The toilet paper is gas station bathroom quality The TV was terrible as I had my Switch hooked up to it and it kept dimming when I was watching Hulu It’s not the cable or the dock because I didn’t have a problem before You’d think for base price of around $140 a night you’d get good service, but nope You pay 2-3x the price of a motel for the same experience

Check in was handled efficiently and the front desk associate was friendly and helpful My husband is a diamond member so he stays at Hiltons 5-6 times a monthMy reason for the 3 star rating is the cleanliness of the room

The bathroom was not up to standards Hair on the toilet and shower wall No Kleenex in the empty box The extra pillows did not have cases and the extra sheet was not clean The TV did not work properly and remote was not covered in the plastic At check out-no one inquired “how was your stay”? We would, if asked, have shared this information at check out I apologize but we did not leave a tip for the housekeeper Room was not up to Hilton standards

The staff was WONDERFUL – everyone with whom we came in contact I’ve never experienced such a wonderful staff in a hotel before The breakfasts were super good and there was coffee available all day

I was disappointed in my room The floor had numerous stains and the carpet was coming up The room was humid the entire time no matter what I did with the thermostatI was disappointed there was no cleaning of the rooms in the 4 nights I stayed, 5 nights for my parents I’ve never been I a hotel where this happens (except Africa)Our toilet had an issue one night, but there was no one on staff except the lady at the front desk, so I had to fix it or we had no toilet Fortunately it was an easy fix A 3-star hotel needs to have a remedy other than the customer! Again, we weren’t in Africa! Finally, our family was there on bereavement and booked 4 rooms We ended up with 3 different rates for bereavement rate I’m still trying to figure that one outI would probably go back if I needed to stay in the area, but there are these couple things that need help

First the good stuff: the staff here were great, so helpful and attentive When we got to our room the TV remote batteries were dead, we called and they brought us a new one right up While the worker was there I asked her where we could find some plastic forks and she said they were at the front desk

Minutes later she was knocking at the door with a few sets of plastic ware for us which was really nice and not expected The room was very clean, the breakfast was great, the pool and hot tub are a pretty decent sizeNow the not so great stuff: the bed was not very comfortable, it was like sleeping on a really old mattress that has lost its squish and is all springs Like other reviews have said the chlorine in the pool area was so strong my eyes were burning even the next morning Also the pool was freezing cold, we entered the pool first and planned to finish up in the hot tub but after shrieking in the cold pool for a minute we decided to just go straight to the hot tub And finally, the elevator ride from hell I ride elevators a lot (I work in a hospital) so I’m not afraid of elevators I can tell you this elevator was the most terrifying one I’ve ever been on As the car passes each floor it shakes from side to side and jostles you around, and when we reached our floor before the doors opened it dropped a couple inches It’s also a very small elevator so the thought of getting stuck in that thing is terrifying We took the stairs the rest of our stay which was certainly better for our health but not what you’re looking for when you’re paying to stay at a hotel If you’re afraid of elevators plan to stay on the first floor or take the stairs Overall it was a fine stay but I wouldn’t choose to stay here again

Hank Zane

Stayed here for a night for a wedding Enjoyed the room, coffee and breakfast, and the pool and hot tub area We were here on a Saturday and there was a fire and get together in the courtyard, pretty chill vibe

There is a fitness area with treadmills and stationary bikes but didn’t get to try it out Overall a fun stay for a single night

I stayed here for 5 days and I enjoyed every bit of my stay! The staff are very friendly and had no issues checking in My room was very clean and my bed was comfortable I only have 2 issues one being the drink machines don’t offer card payments which I was told the hotel doesn’t own those so it’s out of their hands

Secondly this place would be perfect if they had a poolfor me that’s the thing that was lacking But if I’m in the area again I’ll happily choose this Comfort inn Also it’s in a great area for food heck Texas road house is basically in the same lot

We had stayed here 5 years prior (although I don’t recall if it was a Comfort Inn at that time) and chose this place again because of their great rates and easy, quick access to the interstate We drove down from Minnesota for a quick Twins-Brewers series so we were really just looking for a place to crash in the evenings I was impressed with the upgrades and improvements they’ve made since our last visit and how clean it was (and, the smell of cigarette smoke from way back then was completely gone!)

Very friendly staff We arrived two hours early and since our room was already cleaned we were able to check in The placed filled up in the evening but it was still quiet throughout the night We’ll stay here again for another baseball road trip

On a summer night in July the A/C is crucial for sleeping The air conditioner stopped working two minutes before midnight Without the A/C working properly it was hot and difficult to sleep, and I had to be up at 5 am the next morning

I tried to restart it, and it would work for some time but then shut off again I had it set on “fan” and the fan would stop working after 1 cycle This was extremely disruptive to my sleep It was frustrating that this had to happen on a very crucial night for me, as I was taking a licensure exam the following morningHowever, the check-in process was seamless and the staff was very nice The room was clean and modern I had no other issues outside of the malfunctioning A/C unit The bedding linen and bathroom was clean The room rate was a bit high for the area, and for a hotel without a pool or other luxury amenities

The guest clerk was very friendly and helpful The bed was comfortable and the location is perfect if you are in town for a show at the improv or to do shopping at the corners I removed 2 stars because of cleanliness

There was goo in the refrigerator in our room and the toilet had not been flushed from the previous guest The bathroom could use some updating as well as you had to flush the toilet twice for it to actually work Overall, would come back for the location

charlotte jasenski

I sent an e-mail to your Hotel,I don’t know if you received itI was very disappointed in my stay, As a guest I should have been informed of the remodeling Also the price for a one night stay was excessive,Also when I returned for the evening to sleep I heard a barking dog at 10

30pm If pet’s are allowed there should be a floor dedicated to pets as the barking made it hard to fall asleepAnd in the morning as I took my luggage to my car I noticed a young girl digging through the trash barrel outside looking for cigarette butts as I am a smoker I gave some of my cigs I asked her if she was staying at the Hotel and she said no she worked there It was disgusting to have seen thatThen when checking out myself and and another guest were waiting over 15 minutes to check out the desk should be manned at all times, just a very disappointing experience

*** Update 6/6/22: Came back to stay for 2 nights so wanted to update The hotel is still under renovations They are working on the 1st floor so no avoiding it

Today they took out the “business center” and the exercise area is demolished I’m on the third floor and have only heard some minor construction noise during the day Room is nice, just very minor things that bother my ocd Phones work this time Lobby is not locked at night Breakfast had a good assortment and was delicious Raised my room rating from 2 stars to 4 stars ***The staff was great for my two night stay on July 3 and 4, 2020 My issues were with the facility It is newly remodeled which is great but they rushed to open back up and they missed a lot of details A staff member also admitted they rushed to open and they weren’t really ready In my room, there was still plastic on a ceiling light fixture with a sticker on it that said “remove before using”, a fire hazard I’m sure My room also didn’t have a smoke detector and had the wires just hanging there The room phones on the entire floor were not working The emergency flood light outside of my room was also missing The staff said they’d give me some credit on my Hilton Honors but didn’t offer to change my room or a discount or anything I wonder how many other rooms are in this condition Disappointed and not what I’ve come to expect from Hilton hotels

It’s rare I have nothing negative to say about a hotel stay, but our 3 night stay at Avid was perfect Great value for the money The hotel is newer and the rooms were clean, nice large TV

Grab and go breakfast included in the morning that was always fully stocked with a good variety of choices Fresh coffee, tea, and water available all day All the staff we encountered was super nice You don’t get housekeeping everyday, but that’s pretty normal now They did come change out trash and swap out the towels right away when we requested it Good location with stores and restaurants nearby I would give more than 5 stars if I could!

Char Custom

The staff are great and rooms are clean but there are design flaws that make it hard to sleep here The rooms have mirrors that reflect bright bathroom lights onto the bed which are motion activated and cannot be turned on or off The doors are also very heavy and slam, no matter how hard you try to resist them slamming, waking everyone in the surrounding rooms

The temperature controls also drift and even when we kept air-conditioning on all night at 66 it would climb ten degrees after a few hours and you would boil in the bedThe TV was amazing though

Andy Earle

I was in town for a funeral and this hotel was the closest to my friend’s house It was convenient and close to shopping and local restaurants The room was clean and efficient, as it seemed to be a toned down version of your standard room, (e

g, no stationary, local directory, etc)The breakfast was decent enough for a free breakfast Jimmy Dean sausage sandwiches are kind of gross and were the only real savory option givenOther than the breakfast, it was a good stay The staff was cool and the price is what I expected to spend on a hotel off the interstate

Unfortunately when I entered my room I noticed the bathroom had a few dead bugs on the floor The shower had hair on the walls as well as in each corner of the tub The water pressure was so low, it seemed to be a plumbing issue

Called the front desk to make them aware that I had to clean the bathroom myself so my child could shower They did offer us another room, but no compensation for poor conditions The new room was also not that clean Again, the shower had clumps of hair on the walls Terrible cleaning services They do have a laundry room, which is a plus But it was absolutely filthy I don’t think the floor has been cleared in monthsThe whirlpool was out of service, which was one of the main reasons we booked with this hotel To top it off, you have to call 24 hrs in advance to receive any sort of house keeping services They do not willing empty garbage, replace toilet paper, provide fresh towels, etc The cost per room isn’t cheap, you would think they would provide some sort of cleaning services Especially since I was there from Thursday through Monday I would not be willing to return

Helen Edwards

The hotel was clean and nicely styled though there was something inexplicable that still said “economy” about it The staff was so lovely and helpful I am a woman and I traveled solo and always felt safe at the hotel

The room was very clean and nicely decorated with lots of lighting options which made me feel like home It was quiet, smoke free and convenient to Milwaukee which was perfect for me I highly recommend!!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic and I loved every bit of it, the staff were friendly and the location is great, especially right off the highway This is a pretty luxurious hotel for it not being overpriced The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the rooms do not have a microwave, which in my opinion is a pretty important appliance to have especially in a hotel and longer stays

But besides no microwave, this hotel was great and will definitely be returning if we ever need a hotel

Tuesday Cole

Not what I really expected from a Holiday Inn Guest services was great upon checking in Beautiful internal and nice restaurant attached

But the hotel doesn’t have breakfast like the other hotels you have to charge to the room or pay separately for breakfast which you are not told this Coffee is not fresh And can’t locate front desk staff Also price gauged the room because the fair event Wouldn’t take Corp account

Michael Nagel

Frown upon the no breakfast option They don’t even offer simple snack bars to compliment their coffee They offer zero milk options

This feels like a subpar provision for their pricingFriendly service The rooms were nice
