Extremely clean, family friendly campground with a theme park feel! There were so many fun activities for the whole family to enjoy The staff were nice and helpful This is our new favorite place to camp

It’s also very accessible with cabins for rent that have wheelchair ramps There were no lifts at the pools but there’s upgrades happening and I’m hoping that is something they eventually add The first bathroom stall is the wheelchair accessible one in the main bathroom which was so nice to see! We love, love, LOVE this place!!! Also, the dog parks were a huge plus!

After reserving a rustic cabin #3 “Boo Boo Bear” for two back to back business visits, for four nights each, I wouldn’t stay here again and I certainly wouldn’t bring my familyShowers in men’s “comfort zone” simply didn’t work; water trickled and didn’t actually get hot Office seemed to be open very short hours in the weekdays making it hard to communicate

So nothing was done about showers until the last day I was thereWood was to be delivered before I arrived to my cabin each Sunday before I arrived, and never did receive it, even after repeated calls and emails Lack of preparation led to staff literally questioning my integrity at check-in regarding amenities quoted for my length of staysHeater/AC unit had mystery plug short that caused the unit to turn off randomly Woke quite cold more than once due to the issue Also made the bedroom lights flicker Spooky and probably a fire hazardPoor experience overall I should have stayed, well, anywhere else Strict “no refund on paid reservation” policy meant I was stuck here or out the costs I prepaid I understand why the policy is in place, people would not stay long after arriving! Certainly ruined what could have been an otherwise joyful visit to the area for work training

This was our second visit to a Jellystone and we were a little underwhelmed for the price Our cabins were nice and the swimming options were nice (pools and pond); our kids loved the inflatables The whole campground was very rundown though; I understand covid has been tough and I’m sure funding has been tight but it looks like this is years worth of decay

Maybe in just comparing/hoping based on our other Jellystone stay, but it was overpriced for the experience

Clean, and everything you’d expect from a hotel Hot shower, comfortable bed, nice pool and hot tub, full breakfast buffet The breakfast wait staff for the buffet were above and beyond for service! Constantly circulating to make sure the line was full of food, and to make die the guests’ needs were met, these workers were there for service

I would recommend this hotel for your stay in Janesville

Pulled in at 11 pm, after booking this hotel online in route, to find several groups of men with lawn chairs set up drinking and partying in the parking lot Had we not already paid for our room and were going to be charged for our stay anyway, we would have kept on driving When we expressed our concern to the man who checked us in, his response was that “they’re fine”

We stayed on the first floor and there were men sitting in their car right outside our room window partying and drinking late into the night When we left around 9:30 am the next day, we walked through a cloud of pot smoke to get to our vehicle and I snapped this picture of the remains from the night before Needless to say, I felt unsafe here and management could care less what is occurring on their grounds

We had a lot of luggage and were placed on the second floor with only stairs going up no elevator The whole place had a strange smell in the hallways and when entering our room we were hit with a smell that smelt like urine Inspecting our bed everything had stains on it

We were offered another room but it also had stains Not sure how this hotel got the rating it did Didn’t stay we kept driving instead

So they have a no refund policy As well before you book they don’t notify you anywhere that you need to be 21 to check in I called this hotel over 10 times

Expedia also tried to contact the hotel and they wouldn’t answer These guys are just scam artists out to get your money go somewhere else I recommend country inn & suites or best Western where they won’t steal your money

Love this lil gem! It is welcoming, beautiful, relaxing, fun, has entertainment, the wait staff is excellent (very attentive), the food delicious, and the entire place (including the beach and campground) is immaculate We live an hour away and always make time to visit Kudos to the owner, the chef, and the waitstaff

Do yourself a favor, stop by and see for yourself just how perfect this place is!

Kevin Ewert

Nice view of the lake Waitstaff slow and seem to not notice you standing at the bar waiting for service Waitress for outdoor deck was no better

Had to go in a couple of times to order more drinks Only then did the waitress notice you and she did bring the drinks out at that point In this type of business your head needs to be on a swivel and really checking your customers situation whenever you walk by Also when the bartenders are busy they should at least acknowledge your presence so you know they will be getting to you shortly I don’t go in and demand service, because I understand being busy, but just being ignored until they can get to you is not the way to do it

My check in experience was great My room was neat and tidy and I need and other than the contents of one trash can it was also clean I’m not exactly sure how they did miss the Trash in the trash can cause it was the very 1st thing that I seen when I walked into the room

But everything else was clean It was also quiet and I was able to rest comfortably I will definitely stay at this hotel the next time I’m in the area

Suites/Rooms are large and clean, all liquid soaps/conditioners were empty, and clothing iron had debris burnt on it and it destroyed my new dress

That said, we planned our vacation and this hotel specially because other family has stayed here and loved the pool & outdoor amenities The pool was painted and apparently the paint didn’t dry in time, so has been unavailable our entire vacation This was a key source of entertainment for my family, so I could spend time with local family The entire trip has been deeply impacted by this oversight We were not notified, as they claim an email was sent (it was not) I’m so disappointed and am now spending the trip attempting to find things for 2 teenagers to do in the July heat, so they enjoy their vacation, too I can not imagine what manager would think it was wise to paint the pool at the height of the summer vacation season, in the July heat, immediately before the holiday weekend AND not consider Wisconsin humidity could impact the drying time! We’re so upset No mention of the pool situation at check in either Really? Ethical practices? We spoke to the front desk, and were told we would have to wait until the manager returned on the 5th from his vacation I hope he’s enjoying a refreshing swim somewhere on his vacation

What a nice comfortable hotel! The people seemed friendly We were well taken care of I had one little issue

I’m not sure if it was due to the booking company or the hotel I chose a room with a bathtub, so I could soak after a long day on the road I even stopped to pick up some nice bath salts When I arrived I found a beautiful new shower It was lovely so I didn’t complain I would have been happier with my tub though

I admit the pool area restrooms were a bit rundown Rust happens Still the pool and hot tub were clean and relaxing

Our room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was delicious Try the omelets! They said they’re scheduled for renovations in the fall but either way I would gladly stay there again Hopefully next time for longer than one night

Very friendly people at the front desk However, an extremely loud group of teenage boys was staying in the room over ours with their parents down the hall We had to call the front desk about 5 times and even had them come in our room to hear the noise at about 1 am

Would have been happier if they would have thrown the teenagers out or moved them to another room Besides that, the room was clean and they had complimentary breakfast which is always nice

This hotel was amazing!! The service was awesome, and the people in Fort Atkinson are the sweetest (At least on my trip) we were super close to family in the area, really close to pick and save, and walking distance from the hotel there was an Arby’s, Dunkin Donuts, pizza hut, subway, Kwik trip, and a few other placesBreakfast: Pancakes, muffins, bread, bagels, cinnamon rolls, eggs, sausage, cereal, yogurt, juice (orange, apple, cranberry), water, coffee (regular, decaf), hot chocolate, tea

The pool was amazing, the regular pool wasn’t too cold at all and the hottub was niceThey also have vending with snacks and drinksIce machine on each floorAll in all very nice and accommodating Staff was all so so so kind and made our trip amazingMy only warning is that you should really try to push your room door shut until you hear that extra click, make sure your turning door lock can lock This never caused any problems for us but it’s good to know

Everything was quite satisfactory Clean, good location, good amenities, fair service, quiet, smoke-free, pet-free Breakfast was very good with a lot of options

In particular, the coffee and waffles were excellentOnly issue was with the beds Far too firm for my family’s liking Beds are the most important part of the experience Could hardly sleep at night Because of this, I likely wouldn’t stay here again, but I do respect that this hotel got everything else right

Lacey Kimpel

We came here for two nights to stay with family on a block of rooms on the 3rd floor Hotel was updated and very clean We enjoyed the pool

Unfortunately, the battery died to the lock of our room and we were locked out for a few hours Staff and the manager were very accommodating to us during all this and went above and beyond Great breakfast options We would stay here again!
