What a fantastic resort! My family stayed in a 2-bedroom condo Mother’s Day weekend and we had a delightful experience The grounds are immaculately kept and the resort has great offerings We appreciated how helpful and kind the staff we’re

My only let down was the staff not being more forthcoming about the unlikelihood of early check-in I was traveling with my husband, dog, and senior citizen parents I was told I wouldn’t be guaranteed anything over the phone when I called days in advance, but it was also stated that they request would be made However, when I arrived I was told by a different person that early check-in is prohibited I would have planned our day differently had I knownOtherwise, we had a lovely stay and enjoyed the facilities! Meticulously clean units; would definitely pass a white glove test Comfy beds and pillows Beautiful scenery I hope to visit again in the future!

I was serving as a guest speaker for a leadership retreat hosted at this resort Over the years I have frequented here on various occasions This was by far the my least impressive stay

The quality and service is grossly overrated – I’m not sure if this is an aftermath to the pandemic or the lack of training the checking in-staff were nice & personable, even though they told me that the key machine was down & that they would get the room key to me later- I never received the key… the ground staff met me at the room whenever I needed to get in or else, I would make sure that I didn’t shut the door all the way ( definitely unwise) …The adjoining room were extremely loud with both a a large group in the room & outside the build talking loud until pass midnight I notified the front desk and they said they would send staff to speak to the group nothing happened at allDinner was alright, nothing to rave about at all fortunately, breakfast the next morning was excellent, until one of the untrained staff came in the dining area and started talking loud & saying that we sat at the wrong table and some other foolishness totally unprofessional & unacceptableI was not impressed at all with the overall resort service once again the leadership event was phenomenal, however the leadership of the resort definitely need to elevate its game and training

We just completed our stay at the resort and we were thoroughly disappointed in the amenities, service and pricing to say the least! My mother in law books a trip for our family of 25 every year and we have stayed numerous places for way less and much, much nicer with more than we could ever need! She rented 3 condos that supposedly sleep 10, but more like 6 adults and 4 kids would be more appropriate Additionally, they charged her 1400 per night per condo for 5 nights, so she spent 21,000 and technically we could have went somewhere much nicer, bigger and that included our trip there and back Insane and I truly think they have taken advantage of an elderly lady

And last but not least each night our family went to cook meals we had to borrow pots and pans from each condo to have enough to cook They provided us with 2 small skillets, 2 small pots and one baking sheet There was no can opener, no pizza cutter, only one dish cloth and dish towel Our bathrooms had one roll of toilet paper and one tissue box, which for a condo that sleeps 10 for 5 nights that’s hardly enough! When we called to get extra trash bags, dish cloths/towels, toilet paper etc no one showed We went to front desk to get and no one still came The next morning we called 3 times and finally after we complained the lady that answered brought it! I would rate the quality of the condos and mind you were had 3 of them as fair!! Not one condo had the appropriate utensils or amenities suitable for 10 people and the decor was nothing special! No where near as nice as we are used to!

Beautiful location, close enough to Williamsburg and Busch Gardens for both to be easily accessible The rooms are fine, not amazing but perfectly adequate Some wasted space and questionable design choices, like the master bathroom is huge for no reason and has only one sink, and the TV clearly ha sine of those clamp arms that would let it come out of the wall but it’s impossible to figure out

The room wasn’t quite cleaned when we got in, there was a mess in the fridge and ants in the master bathroom The pull-out couch bed is terrible Basically a graham cracker stretched over some metal poles That’s an exaggeration but not by a lot I might rather just sleep on the couch, come to think of it And the staff never answer the main desk phone for questions We had to badger and badger for them to bring us extra bedding for the pull-out couch bed Overall though, it’s a decent place Hard to argue with the price And the staff did stop bothering us about their time share once we told them we weren’t happy with their service soI guess that’s a plus?

Nice clean roomy bedrooms We stayed in a two bedroom two bathroomsKitchen was small but had everything we needed

There was 4 of us staying and had company with a total of 7 adults Not crowded at allSet up with 3 chairs and a couch Big table that set 6The finishing were of good quality and shape But looked like mid-modern that just misses the mark

Joseph Borowski

We stayed here for four days and we’re blown away Our living space was steps above any hotel we have stayed at and everyone had plenty of space to sleep and relax We had a minor issue with our fridge, however we called the front desk and someone came to fix it pretty quickly

We are definitely planning on staying here again on our next visit!

We were here for about 6 days The rooms really need update/refurbishing, but the staff seems to make every effort to keep them clean I was double-charged the full price of our stay on check-in, but it was corrected within about a day

The toilet was aggravating in that it ran constantly, and didn’t flush properly The beds aren’t so great However, we did enjoy our stay, and the grounds and location do hold value It would’ve been nice if the restaurant were open, but the continental breakfast was always well-stocked The staff were all attentive, pleasant, and helpful Overall, it was a good experience for us, and is a great place for those traveling with kids and pets

The Hilton Garden at Williamsburg was just delightful! My interactions with the staff and associates was outstanding, they were all very friendly and accommodating The hotel is a bit dated, and there are some quirky nuances That said, I would definitely stay here again

There is plenty of on premise parking and the hotel is conveniently located next to everything The pool, hot tub and gym were all available 24hrs, and well maintained In my room, the blackout shades did not function and therefore the room was quite dark; hence 4stars not 5 The entire hotel is accessible and includes many amenities Breakfast is about $12 and is not included the cost of the room

Skylark Torch

The hotel is in good condition, clean and comfortable The wifi and TV works well THE STAFF are awesome

Loved talking to every person I met up front The lobby feels grand, they have made it cozy and impressive despite its small size The breakfast was delicious, top notch options Also quite enjoyed the clean pool & hot tub! Will stay again!

jenna cabigas

Had such a great stay More than exceeded my expectations The staff were super friendly and greeted us promptly at arrival

We had connecting rooms and they were updated and very clean The breakfast was amazing with great hot and cold options as well as made to order omelettes, French toast and pancakes The location of the hotel was great! Short 10-12 min drive to Busch Gardens, water country and colonial Williamsburg Walkable to many restaurants The gym and 24 hour pool and hot tub were well maintained and a favorite of my kids! The lobby is clean and bright! I wish I could only take off half a star, the only very small complaints that didn’t make it perfect is the hallways on the upper floors were hot and stuffy and had a wet carpet kind of smell, I think because there is a lack of ventilation there but the rooms were cool, bright and clean There is also no bathroom fans which make it a bit steamy in there The floors in the elevators should be replaced to some kind of hard floor not carpet bc it appears dingy and dirty None of those small details affected our stay and we would 100% return!

As a Hilton member I was very disappointed at this franchised HotelAlthough it was built in 2009 it look poorly maintained The moldings were obviously removed and not replaced, the wall paper was coming off in many places

The business center was not functioning and their was no hot water for 5 hours The furniture is very old and uncomfortable & the rugs needed cleaning But the bathroom was very cleanMy room was not ready until 4 hours past my check inThe breakfast was very basic the usual waffles, oatmeal cereal bread & eggThe day staff was very nice But my overall impression was very poor

Jennifer Maki

We were extremely disappointed when we found out that our two king bed rooms were smoking versus non-smoking We have an eight month old baby They were able to swap out one of the king rooms for a two queen bed room however we were still stuck with the one smoking room

So we ended up having to share the two queen beds We had just recently got engaged and were really looking forward to this trip We immediately expressed our concerns upon check in They also went and sprayed the one king room but the lady from the front desk refused to talk to us We would be grateful to talk to a manager regarding this We just don’t feel it is fair to pay for a room that we can’t be in

We stayed here 3 times Overall the impression was very good The rooms were clean, and comfortable, the pool was great, breakfasts were yummy with a lot of choices, the front desk people were welcoming and nice and location is perfect for us being close to I-64

The only flow we had the last time we stayed (which was in accessible room) is the weirdest way the AC unit worked making the noise (even in off mode) which we couldn’t get rid of So our night sleep was just awful and though my HB is a disable person we have to remember NOT to stay in accessible room here because the AC unit is different then in their standard rooms Other then that we didn’t have any issues and would stay here again

Walter

Check in is at 1500, we came back from sight seeing the area at 1630 and our room wasn’t readyThe room was fine, however it smelled like they used dirty mop water for a quick clean up, the heating and cooling wall unit had a mind of its own, when we wanted it to cool (during the day) it wouldn’t, it would cut on at night when it was cold When it was cold in the room, when we wanted it to heat (during night) it would heat during the day when it was warm

Swimming Pool was fineThe Food was area was clean the workers were nice however there was only three hot options, Scrambled eggs, pork patties, or turkey patties and the turkey patties were shriveled to hell and the scrambled eggs were super dry because they continued to be cooked on the line Usually when Breakfast is included at hotels they would have a waffle iron with batter already mixed to fry up a waffle No one was out there monitoring the food for quality control for example, turning or replenishing the eggs, making sure the meat does not turn to jerkyLast time we house here on vacation

diana canty

The service was good, until breakfast There were 2 ladies visiting at the island when I went to get oatmeal One of them started to lecture me about 1 person at a time at the food station, then the staff member joined her in lecturing me

The lady didn’t get any oatmeal I feel like they merely wanted to humiliate me The staff member earlier had repeatedly questioned me about a serving spoon falling, which did not happenWhen the manager came the staff member’s mood changed completely She became very friendly and accommodating Telling me “You are my guest”, which is quite contrary to how she made me feel beforeThe rooms are nice and clean The entire hotel is very nice! The check in staff is friendly and courteous All of the staff were nice except for the breakfast ladyI must update my review The gentleman serving breakfast on Saturday was wonderful He was friendly and courteous He was so joy filled that he started my day with sunshine and happinessThank you!!!

The staff here are exceptionally nice and friendly Miss Celine made the best omelets They had a great selection of food to choose from

Mike and Patrick were so helpful getting me linen when we returned in the evening You can’t teach the kind of friendliness the staff has The room was clean and comfortable The beds were extra comfortable but a little small Queen size would have been better Location was perfect for Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens Rocco’s Smokehouse Grill is right around the corner and has excellent BBQ I will definitely stay here again if we are in the area

Jolene Mckenzie

This hotel is in a good location for where we needed to go It was a quick check in and the front desk attendant was very nice One of the two rooms smelled like mildew and the the AC was not working as it should

The dining room area was hot and had to use a loud fan to cool it down Customers had to get their own plates, bowls and cups because they kept running out and didn’t keep it stocked

Kevin Lay

The front desk was incredibly accommodating, and the breakfast was so good! The cooks make a great omelet for you, and the choices of breakfast foods is great! The suite is really nice and spacious and has all you need for a family to stay comfortably! You will need to let them know ahead of time if you want the room to be cleaned/changed if you’re staying for a few days or a week, as we did The pool had lots of people utilizing it, and lots of fun too! They have a small snack station with some late nigh snacks that your kids can purchase, and the evening session at the bar/lounge area is really neat Two drinks (alcoholic or non) are good to have and there are pretzels, chips and veggies with ranch to snack on as well

The servers were working hard for their customers and you can get food ordered for you as well! The location is fantastic! Right near William and Mary, and minutes within all the tours, and really cool downtown areas!

This is by far one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at for the price! The hotel has been redone beautifully when you walk in The rooms appear fresh and clean The pool is nice and the hot tub is wonderful

The breakfast and the woman in charge of restocking it were incredible! She kept everything restocked and was very proactive I wish the beds had been a little softer, but that may have been the specific room we were in That would be my only critique The front counter staff were excellent We would definitely stay here again!

Desirae Blackmore

I am currently staying here on vacation I’m super picky with hotels but this hotel is wonderful! The staff has been nothing short of amazing and friendly every time we see them! The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are very comfortable The breakfast every morning is great! I love that they actually cook breakfast and have options

There is definitely something for everyone here It’s close to just about everything in Williamsburg, the location isn’t bad!

Ellen Etheridge

We chose this hotel based on the location, free breakfast, and positive reviews I was very happy with my choice and found everything to be wonderful! The front desk staff (morning and afternoon) were very welcoming, attentive, and helpful I find that when I am polite and respectful, I get the same in return

The staff working the breakfast were efficient, pleasant, and so hard-working to keep up with the hungry guests There were lots of choices on the buffet, and I’m glad I went downstairs early because it got very crowded around 8:15 am (weekday) Our room and bathroom were very clean The shower had great water pressure, and it was helpful to have both a microwave and fridge in our room The only room for improvement was the sleeper sofa mattress which was flimsy and uncomfortable All in all, this was a great stay, and I would recommend the Comfort Suites on Bypass Rd to anyone traveling to W’burg!

It is a relaxing and peaceful spot…a great place to recharge I couldn’t be happier with my stay and will definitely be returning and recommending it to others It is 15 minutes from just about anything you need Staff was friendly and welcoming I don’t see how you can go wrong staying here

Adam Schechner

We came here for a long weekend in May, and check in couldn’t have been easier We arrived very early, left our bags with the valet, and went to Colonial Williamsburg to kill time until check in, but they called us about 30 minutes later to tell us our room was ready Braden at the front desk was very polite and welcoming

The villa had obviously JUST been renovated and was 99% beautiful: Pros: The kitchen, living room, and bedrooms are huge and extremely comfortable The beds are extremely firm (which I loved but my wife didn’t) The room was absolutely SILENT The grounds are beautifulCons: The renovation clearly ended at the bathroom The grout on the floor was crumbling, and we were constantly stepping on bits of it The shower is extremely small, and there is only 1 sink Not deal breakers, but could definitely be improved The light from the golf course was fairly bright at night The pools are fairly small, but there are 3 of themUnfortunately on our last night, water started raining down on one of the beds from the bathroom above ours Adam D came fairly quickly to assess the situation and was EXTREMELY apologetic Fortunately the rain stopped, but the bed was soaked so my kids slept on the sofa bedWe already have Manor Club booked for later this month, and we look forward to coming back

Thomas Sr. Kratz

Just a great experience staying at this property We had a two bedroom condo was absolutely beautiful and very clean The staff is wonderful and not far at all from Busch gardens in Williamsburg 15 minute drive or less

Indoor and outdoor pool a bit small but served it’s purpose My wife had realized that she left some cash in the safe a pretty big amount call Security they were professional and absolutely helpful went out of their way got the money back and mailed a certified money order got it within three days So hats off to everyone at the Marriott You

Absolutely love The Manor My family and I stay here at least once a year and it’s always THE MOST incredible hospitality Maggie makes the best breakfasts (always worth waking up for) and it’s just such a nice location with plenty to do

It’s called THE Williamsburg Bed and Breakfast because everything else is just a cheap copy Also if you’re good they’ll let you hold one of their chickens out back!

Jim Nichols

House was quaint and decorated very nicely, and the snack selection available anytime in the kitchen area was very good We didn’t stay for breakfast the next day but a fellow guest said they stayed there before and the breakfasts were wonderful The only negatives were: Although we were told we might not be greeted and keys would be left for us, in the one day we were there we never saw a host

The rooms aren’t labeled so finding your room is an adventure Although our room was equipped with grab bars in the shower, the toilet was very short and very small Definitely could use a chair height toilet

Robby Willey

My family stayed at the Williamsburg Manor B&B during my wedding weekend, and they haven’t stopped talking about their experience since My wife and I live blocks from the Manor, so we know the building well But my family staying there really opened our eyes to how charming the space is, with an amazing location mere feet from Colonial Williamsburg and William & Mary

But what really set the space apart was the experience that the owners provided for my family and our wedding guests, as we hosted our wedding reception outside on the Manor lawns A wonderful place for an intimate gathering, with lovely decor inside and outand the food provided was incredible My father-in-law still talks about how the the brunch served the following day after the wedding is one of the best brunches he’s ever had If you can impress a father-in-law, you know you’ve done something rightA must-stay for visiting Williamsburg during special occasions, and a must-book for private parties & gatherings (or if you just want to impress your father-in-law)!

Had an excellent 5 night stay on July 4th weekend, and special shout out to Cathy and the breakfast bistro staff for such exceptional service, and the food was good too Check-in was smooth and front desk was always very courteous and professional Indoor/outdoor pool was nice and hot tub was a nice bonus

Fitness room was kinda small but got the job done

Nikea Benedetti

The rooms were greatly accommodating and clean! No complaints except they didn’t have free breakfast I loved the market place and bistro though very much a plus I also loved there indoor/outdoor pool it had an amazing hot tub too

I booked a single room with double beds but they were all booked up when I came to chec-in However, the gracious front desk clerk gave me a great deal with no extra cost to it She gave us a room that was next door each other so we had two rooms under one amazing deal! I thought that was very kind for her to do knowing I had my nephew, cousin and sister with me The other room even had a balcony! Loved it The stay was very comfortable next time I come up to visit Busch gardens or stay just in general in Williamsburg, I’ll definitely choose this hotel to lay my head at Just update the breakfast selection if it’s not going to be free 💙

RUPERT II

It was ok The hotel was clean and basic Nothing fancy but nothing broken

The tv was very outdated and the cable was awful There wasn’t a tv guide There were digital and analog channels that you had to click through The tv was a 32 thick LG flat panel The bed and pillows were comfy The blinds had slight stains on them but not too noticeable! The carpet was clean! Not worth the high price $190 per night but recommend if you are going to be in and out It’s good for a good night sleep and to get ready for a full day outside the hotel! Lobby looks awesome!

The location was great and our room was clean The hotel hasn’t been updated, which isn’t a big deal but should be noted The breakfast options were typical of a Hampton Inn and a person was continuously stocking items

The front desk staff was great A young man was there every evening of our stay and very helpful The one thing I didn’t like was that the elevators were dirty and vandalized with gravity and one of the handrails had been ripped off the wall The owner should get these items fixed We had an issue upon check-in It appeared as though one of the housekeepers was smoking a cigarette while she was cleaning the rooms near the one we had been assigned OR a guest was smoking in a room but the smell was too strong to be just someone smoking in a room It appeared to be coming from a room where the housekeeper was inside cleaning We immediately requested a new room and were moved to a different floor and overheard the housekeepers talking about the smoking of cigarettes I don’t understand Spanish well so either they were just talking about the incident or were telling the person who was smoking that we had complained The front desk informed us upon check-in that housekeeping would not come in the room and that we were to request anything we needed from the front desk I’m OK with this to a point but my littlest one opened a bag of popcorn and it EXPLODED all over the place and we had to live with the aftermath the entire time we were there because they couldn’t come in and vacuum We picked up everything we could but I almost went to a store to buy a vacuum It was bottom of the bag bits of popcorn!! So apologies to whoever had to clean that room after we checked out

Sara Conklin

We really liked this hotel The complimentary microwave popcorn in our room was a nice touch and the fact that breakfast stays open later than most hotels was a winning combination for us The rooms were also very clean and staff friendly

It’s super close to everything, too My only warning is that the beds are rock hard, but some people prefer that We enjoyed our stay!

I have decided to edit my review due to the hotel finally responding to me via GOOGLE We arrived with a medical service pet A MEDICAL SERVICE ANIMAL

I arrived at the hotel and was met by a not so friendly, but all business like staffer named Ashley Upon arrival, we were given a room that was available, but told that our Diamond status meant nothing and no upgrades would be offered No problem I was in our room for less than 10 minutes when I received a call that told me our MEDICAL SERVICE PET was not allowed and we must leave the hotel or “get rid of” the MEDICAL SERVICE PET I asked many questions as to why and was informed that she confirmed it with the hotel GM that we did not have a dog, cat, or a miniature horse I called my Hilton honors rep who called the hotel staff and they were told to find me a different property to stay at At this point, I am in hysterics as we are 5 hours away from home and I have all the paperwork certifying our pet, which by the way is a 4lb miniature Holland lop that is litter box trained among other things I went down to the front desk and Ashley had left for the evening so I spoke with a nice gentleman who asked me to provide proof of disability and paperwork for our pet, which I did He told me to stop worrying and that he would handle everything 24 straight hours of pure hell and stress worrying about our fur family member I then go the hotel lobby the next day and see that this is a freaking pet friendly hotel! Why in the world would someone cause me that much stress and drama when all they had to do was say that?! Instead, I was told the hotel only accepted SERVICE ADA COMPLIANT DOGS, CATS, AND MINIATURE HORSES! However, the hotel was filled with barking dogs and whatever other pet walked through the door When speaking to another guest, I asked if their pet was a service animal and they told me no I have been waiting for a call from the hotel since June 18th I have called and left many messages, but my calls have all gone unanswered You caused my family so much wasted time when I could have easily paid a pet fee and signed the pet waiver We have achieved Diamond status due to all of our Hilton stays with our service animal Very upsetting You would have been given 5 stars The hotel was clean, most staff was friendly, good breakfast, wonderful location, great lobby area Next time you have a child who is staying at your hotel with a medical service pet, please be kind and understanding!

Recently stayed in 2 suites for my daughters graduation from W & M We had a fantastic stay over 4 days Beautiful hotel with impeccable details

We ate several meals there capped off with a brunch there on Sunday for 10-12 people in the Terrace Room I travel a lot and this hotel ranks among the best I’ve stayed at One complaint i do have was the checkin service did not go as planned but we made do Overall excellent experience otherwise

We absolutely loved our stay here The employees were friendly from the original greeter to the check in clerk The spa associate and the house keeping

I want to give a special shout out to the house keeping, it was our best experience They stocked everything daily and even went as far as to arrange my daughter’s stuffed animals every day The location was close to everything we wanted to do Walking distance to all of historical Williamsburg and William and Mary 15 minutes from Yorktown and Jamestown Even closer to Water Country and Busch Gardens Enjoy your stay

The staff was awesome Ms Michelle (Night Shift Desk Manager) stepped in to help us out with reservation and billing issues at the sister hotel

Sister hotel near park had overbooked and moved us to the Comfort Inn The first hotel staff were uncaring and didn’t even provide directions I had to ask for an addressOnce at the Comfort Inn, I was met by Ms Michelle She listened and worked with her General Manager to address the issuesDay Shift Manager was very nice and he checked on us every time he saw usFor families- this is the perfect hotel Very quiet and clean hotel away from the large groups on buses They don’t tolerate out of control guestThe Comfort Inn provided easy access to restaurants in one block (Cracker Barrel, Jose Tequilas Mexican Restaurant) and 10-15 min drive to shopping centers (Marshall’s, etc)Thank you Ms Michelle and Comfort Inn staff for making our 3 day stay so enjoyable after spending all day at the parks As a single parent – we felt safe and welcomed We will be back

We had a great stay here this past weekend! For the price we paid (significantly cheaper than many surrounding hotels), this hotel is beautiful and newly redone The decor was new and the room was clean The beds were also very comfortable

Our room was close to the stairs on the second floor but it was pretty quiet overall which was a pleasant surpriseThe breakfast service was ok, nothing special but it did the job The outdoor pool was very refreshing after a morning of sightseeing! We would definitely stay here again!

Sarah Nock

Room was real nice and very updated The only reason for the 4 stars was the room had an item left in front of the night stand on the floor when we checked in Staff was friendly and helpful throughout the stay

The lady that checked us in at night was extremely nice ,she was also working the breakfast the next morning The pool wasn’t always clean out with lots of leaves floating in it The location was perfect for going to area attractions Overall definitely recommend this place

First time staying recently, didn’t know what to expect The grounds are nice, the rooms look nice It is slightly nicer than a traditional hotel for sure

However, there was mold in the bathrooms and some other housekeeping issues that weren’t up to my standards It’s also hard to enjoy the living room area because the walls are very thin, it sounded like the family next door was in the room with us The bedroom was quiet though at least I didn’t appreciate trying to get roped in to a timeshare presentation on check-in, but that is just my personal hang-up While I definitely see the appeal, and the location is great, I wouldn’t stay again, most of the hotels I stay in are just as nice/quiet and a little cleaner

Catherine Megan Anderson

This is a beautiful resort My room was CLEAN, spacious, very nice, and quiet The bed was comfortable

The combination jacuzzi/shower was AMAZING I also really liked the outdoor balconies They have 2 pools on site and multiple amenities! The negatives I would say were that the TVs in the room were very small, the toilet was located right next to the bedroom (which isn’t the best for couples LOL), the cafe/bar was very small and not really a place to hang out, and the drive out to other places is a bit annoyingOverall this was a really nice place to stay and I’d come back again

Michele Rogers

This is our 3rd stay at the resort and every time we come it’s is as beautiful and relaxing as the first time The rooms where clean and very quiet and we didn’t want to leave!! One thing that bothered me is one night my daughter and myself was coming from the pool and there was the smell of someone smoking weed you could smell it all over the place!! I feel like if u gonna do that do it in your own space not at a family resort!! Other than that we had a wonderful stay and will be back next year!! Another thing people don’t understand that this is a resort not a hotel No your trash will not be taken out for you, And no you won’t get your free breakfast that’s why there’s a kitchen, That’s just my opinion 😉

Nice hotel, friendly and clean Our room was nice although it’s beginning to show signs of wear (furniture scratches, toilet losing its shine, balcony slider door loud and hard to open and close due to bent track) They only come to clean the room when you ask them to

In room mini refrigerator worked well Coffee came with 2 packs of coffee and 2 cups I had to go to the front desk to replenish for the rest of our stay They have a combination indoor/outdoor pool which is only 3 feet deep in the majority of the pool It does get deeper to 4 and 5 feet but only in a small corner The pool is also showing signs of age (a few cracks, peeling finish on the floor of the pool) They have a spacious parking lot with plenty of parking but charge you $10 a day to park there when you stay To me, that’s just another way to make extra moneyIt was a pleasant stay but expected a little more from a DoubleTree hotel

Danielle Sydnor

Excellent customer service! I always enjoy the complimentary cookies and water The beds are comfy The walls are quite thin, we could hear our neighbors

Also the ceilings seem to be collecting mildew Overall the rooms were a decent size with a small bathroom A few upgrades and this could be a five star hotel The pool looks great! As a side bar note to the hotelI would fire the landscaper The plants outside walking into the entrance were dead and some were water derived

Brent Stark

We chose this location as it was close to colonial Williamsburg This is an older hotel and it has been adequately kept up However the decorations inside the hotel are dated

Unfortunately our room was not ready even though we showed up at the correct checking time But the hotel front staff was very accommodating medating and expedited the cleaning of the room so we were able to get in in about 40 minutes As a diamond member we received a $30 credit towards the restaurant, which we used for breakfast The breakfast was actually very good with the variety of product and the staff was very attentive

Our family has a fantastic time at Great Wolf Lodge The room had a loft, two queens, and a pull out sofa that easily accommodated eight The water park was great and there was something for everyone

They had a wonderful place outside to get adult beverages, if that’s your thing Besides the water park there is so much to do in the hotel, too much to list The kids had a great time, and so did I

Jessica Ziegler

My review is mainly for the day passes I thought this location was actually really clean We arrived earlier than 4pm and they let us go right on in! Definitely don’t over pack as they provide everything you need

When you walk in the chlorine smell is STRONG, but that is a good thing because it is a water park I did rent a locker which is expensive at $15 just to rent for the day My kids went right on in and loved every bit of the park The staff was friendly and the lifeguards are on it with making sure everyone is safe The food is expensive and I spent $30 on 3 meals but I was expecting those types of prices Overall I would return but only on day passes!

Gage Evans

Good stay this weekend Room was clean and well kept The water park wasn’t too crowded Friday and Sunday

Saturday was pretty busy Overall the place is good for kids and a fun time The reason for the 4 stars is due to the other guests not watching their children and being rude I was shocked to feel like most guests weren’t friendly with it being a kids place Seemed like most encounters weren’t great

The location was very good with lots dining options for the family It is also a short drive to Busch Gardens The front desk staff was efficient and kind

The two stars is based on our room, 332 The room smelled like dirty feet Didn’t dare to smell the carpet but it seemed like the smell was coming from the beds Definitely not good Also the shower door wouldn’t stay closed and the microwave was completely brokenBased on our experience here, we would likely never return

latoya Jones

Let me start by giving TERESA at the front desk a compliment, she was great Very kind and welcoming, she was very informative about the event and the surrounding area I could have chatted with her for hours The room was perfect, very clean and spacious, I would definitely recommend it

Thank you again Teresa for a very nice experience and happy mothers day
